oh, my sweet summer child…*pats your head*. this has become a veryyy contentious topic on my blog so i don’t talk about it much anymore but since you’re a new fan looking for info, as was i once, i will do one Final brain dump about it.

he still follows her and her finstas that i don’t think she uses anymore lol, but yes olivia unfollowed him in september. something that is funny (at least to me) within the context that said unfollow was when she went out with sophie turner and taylor swift. like…what did blondie say that pushed you ever the edge girl LOL. then little miss instagram anxiety unfollowed 100 random accounts the next day trying to pretend it wasn’t selective.

this is also a little contentious because there isn’t proof proof in the form of like kissing photos or something (just beach pap photos from nov 2020 where they aren’t touching each other haha). but in my humble opinion they were involved during filming.

timeline gets a little messy at the start, but i do think re: some late december early january gossip about him being seen with olivia that austin and v were broken up a hot minute before it came out publicly on jan 14th 2020 so 🤷🏼‍♀️. don’t think it was some big affair. they were def broken up before jan 2nd, a day that will leave in infamy lmfao. olivia posted a photo in austin’s shirt, which v fans clocked immediately bc he’d wore in it on vacation with v. and this was jan 2nd, two weeks before the breakup went public. i wasn’t in the fandom for this, but as ive been told it was a real mess. olivia went private briefly, deleted the pics, asked the society fans to take the photos down and it was the beginning of instagram becoming the seemingly anxiety inducing thing for that that it is now.

(ex: after the oscars last year she posted some elvis filming throwbacks on her story as a nice little end of the era thing. one of her and austin she wrote ‘so proud 🥀 @austinbutler’ on. she then deleted that story, reposted it, deleted it again, and reposted it without the text.)

and i mean yeah- big (probably intentional) goof on her part with the shirt thing. but idk. she was 21 at the time, and i’m willing to give 21 year olds a little girl what are you doing grace.

whatever happened between her and austin, the most she’s done re ‘shade’ is liking a comment someone left on her page saying she deserved better when he was seen with lily rose and something got sent to deuxmoi that said he’d cheated on her (imo he didn’t. she was just hurt bc seeing him move on stung, or maybe the door that should have been fully shut wasn’t. lily was august 2021, he left australia march 2021)- and hanging out with v a handful of times mid 2022 (though she herself never posted about it, it was either other people or paps).

a lot of people on here reallyyyy don’t like her, but i’m a fan so that’s my girl. i have a real big soft spot for her, and a while ago when a friend of mine in the fandom at the time told me ‘oh the internet wasn’t nice to her at all’ in the months after the shirt debacle it really hurt my heart.

even with a little smidgeee of shade as explained above ^ i think she’s handled whatever maybe not so positive feelings she has towards him reasonably. they seemed to get a long just fine and happy during elvis press- esp so in toronto which my fav interviews of the two of them are from bc that press tour stop was just them and baz. she’s never said a negative world about him publicly, and i doubt she ever will. the most candid she’s ever been about elvis filming was an interview earlier this year where she said she did ‘a lot of growing up on that job’ and that she sees her life as before and after elvis. i think that’s the most “deep” she’ll ever go down that road, at least for a long while.

between her unfollowing him in sept, turning off her tagged photos in feburary. and recently deleting a comment v left on a post of hers within 30 seconds (i presume bc she knew just like we did that v was doing that for drama/attention, it was right after austin’s esquire interview where he briefly, respectfully talked about her), i think she’s genuinely trying to move on with her life. which can be hard! i never get over anyone! and if my personal read is right that she was a mix between a rebound and the priscilla to his elvis when he was really living in that man’s head that’s even more of an idk…niche heartbreak to have to wrestle with? whether the other party actually did anything wrong or not. i don’t think austin did anything to her or broke her heart with any malicious intent at all. none of the olivia/austin stuff changes how i see him as a fan. he’s a complex human, olivia is a complex human. that’s the gist.

And another thing! My male coworkers can barely talk to me!!!! Makes me fucking annoyed and lonely. Like they can't even speak japanese to me normally they have that weird ass no eye contact, like i'm accosting them sort of look and i'm like BRO. I so hope I can go to turkey this summer bc that's the only way i feel i can survive without freaking out. I was on my LAST STRAW today. I'm going to Turkey this winter then leaving Japan next year for the US. And trying to go back to school. I'm not cut out for teaching either. I don't like it, i've never liked it. I don't want to do it anymore or ever again in this capacity. Training is ok. Teaching? Kids? NO.

Dude even in Turkey- even when they know i'm foreign- even when tbey are suprised I know turkish (mostly they just take it in stride- maybe a comment at the beginning then they go with it). They treat me like one of them immediately. They're so warm and friendly. Sometimes intimidatingly so but that's better than here (for me). Their country is so full of immigrants and tourists and tbh I only go to Istanbul or a small vacation town on the Mediterranean but like. Even in Tokyo I have problems (mind you way less than here but).

the main thing u need to know about ivy is that she is lying ! always !! her real name isn’t even actually ivy smh

she was born natalie rose serrano, to two working class parents in new york city. she knew from a young age that she was just supposed to be rich and famous, and that something had gotten mixed up somewhere and she was put in the wrong life.

in high school she got a scholarship to a fancy private catholic school, and that’s where she started to hone her craft of manipulating rich people. she would befriend all of the richest bitches at school and take advantage of everything that came along with it: vacations to far away places, stays in the family’s cabins and lake houses, even designer clothes that her friends no longer wanted and would gift to her, thinking it was their idea all along

as she grew up and got better at getting what she wanted out of people, her entitled attitude only got worse, driving a wedge between her and her parents, who kept waiting for her to develop a work ethic and kept being disappointed. a few months after she graduated high school, on her 18th birthday, her parents kicked her out of the house and cut her off, hoping that it would force her to grow up and take on any responsibility

but that plan backfired for them, her parents underestimating how truly stubborn natalie was. the day after her 18th, she wandered into a local strip club and got a job, figuring it’d be the easiest and quickest way to get some cash, and she took to it naturally and actually really enjoyed stripping

she started to embody an entirely new persona that she had created for herself, dancing under the name poison ivy and telling everyone she was a trust fund baby that had been cut off from her rich parents, needing to dance to supplement her income, and her lies just continued to spiral out of control until she almost started to believe it herself. she had never told anyone at the club her real name, not even the other strippers, just going by “ivy” for a while.

she had learned to weaponize the power she had over people by being pretty and charming, using her looks for absolute evil and doing whatever it took to get money—from straight up pickpocketing, to making men buy her expensive gifts, to blackmailing, to sugar babying, to getting patrons wasted and manipulating them into tipping her absurd amounts... she did it all, very quickly earning enough to live the life she had always dreamed of, that she felt she deserved for whatever twisted reason.

she started posting on instagram with the name poison ivy generally just flaunting her carefree, extravagant life, often exaggerating or down right lying just to really dazzle her quickly growing audience

as she started to go down the influencer route, she realized she needed to do something to hide the skeletons in her closet ( the fact that she didn’t actually come from money and was making far more than was normal for even the best of dancers, a couple of small possession / shoplifting charges, and just generally anything that could lead people to her real identity ) so she started to tell people her name was ives, fully taking on the new identity. she even went so far as to make some of the people that had been closest to her sign NDAs about her real identity, making sure that no one could sell info about her should her plan of being famous work out

and it did work out !! at first she was definitely buying followers/likes to boost her likelihood of brand sponsorships, but eventually she faked it until she made it and actually attained influencer status

she also started sleeping around with pretty much any famous person she could, having very public relationships and breakups and scandals to keep her name in the press, which ultimately lead to more exposure/people following her, if only to see what she did next, which lead to even more sponsorships

she’s probably been in kingsboro for a few years, living in a super fancy one bedroom apartment that she definitley doesn’t pay for ( she doesn’t even know how much her rent is tbh )

eventually she stopped dancing and just focused on her influencing or whatever, but she never stopped sugar babying and scamming rich stupid men, still very much using that as a means to keep up her lifestyle. she’s also done a few modeling things, but it’s mostly just like catalog work or being the face of a trendy campaign bc she’s way too short for the runway

she also recently made an only fans account bc she was bored one night and was mostly planning on posting once as a joke but then she made a bunch of money / got a bunch of subscribers and was like oh word ? i can do that ! so she will post on there from time to time but she’s not like... super serious about it ya know ?

so basically she’s jus here making money being pretty and pulling a long ass scam on... everyone

she talks A Lot but is really good at saying a lot of words without actually saying anything, like you can be best friends with her for months and then just be like “i don’t actually know a single thing about her”

always up to no good and sticking her nose where it doesn’t belong !! she’s always got some sort of scheme going or getting in to some kind of drama

It’s 1:30 in the morning and ive been laying awake for over two hours now and i was just... thinking.

Thinking about how blind and stupid ive been.

These past couple years ive been so confused about relationships and dating and having crushes that i just forgot about it bc im too busy doing other stuff. Im finishing my degree and spending time on myself and with my best friends and ive been content not thinking about anything in the romance department.

But i started thinking about the stuff ive been through the last couple years regarding my previous crushes and my sexuality crisis. When i moved to wisconsin i almost immediately had feelings for this one specific guy but when i had the opportunity to confess (even when i knew he reciprocated the interest), i froze up and never really thought about it again. I thought it was too soon and i was too scared to say anything.

Then i got even more distracted when i liked this girl for a long time, to the point where i even CONFESSED. I confessed before summer vacation to give her time to think about things, which ultimately led to rejection when the fall semester came around. Tbh tho, thank fucking god cause that girl is a class A bitch and shes with someone as equally shitty and i really dodged a bullet.

Then, i was like 1000% sure that i finally figured out my sexual orientation. Im a lesbian. 100% into women, not even romantically interested in guys, not at all. Just gay. Only girls. I thought that my fleeting crushes on boys were just me being lonely and as a result id develop a “crush” on anyone who was nice to me.

But i just... cant stop thinking about him. I just think about him and he makes me smile and i want to spend time with him and i get sad when i go long periods of time without seeing him. I hate that im too shy to really ask to hang out with him outside of anime club too much cause its almost like if i do that then im going to fall hard and i dont know what id do then.

It even extends beyond just having similar interests. His hugs are so warm and comforting and even then there are other fleeting touches. How he’ll put his arm around me sometimes and literally every time i see him he’ll compliment me and tell me i look good or hot or whatever. Every time im down on myself hes there to encourage me.

But ive already told him (and basically everyone) that im gay, and ill make silly comments about getting a gf one day and that he should TOTALLY introduce me to some of his other lgbtq+ friends so i may hit it off with one of them. But really... maybe this whole time ive been into him? The way he talks to me makes me feel like he still has feelings for me too.

He always says how im “gf goals” and that im going to make someone really happy one day and i always found it really sweet. And idk... maybe... if i just give it a shot... i could try it? With him? Try dating him?

Im just so scared because hes just... the most caring and sweet guy ive ever met and if i did try dating him and find out that i really am gay, that all these confusing feelings ARE just me being lonely, itd break his heart. He doesnt deserve to have something like that happen to him, esp if he really does like me in that way. He just deserves so much better than me; someone whos often distracted, confused on what i really want and who i am... i dont know what to do, or even how to take that final step if i decided to pursue it.

It doesnt help that i literally dont have anyone to talk to about this stuff. My bff is really weird with romantic stuff and they also know him as well, and i feel like if i told them about these conflicting feelings i have theyd be... disappointed? I dont know how to describe it. I guess just after years and years of affirming that im a lesbian and have no interest in guys to suddenly come out and be like “hey i kinda really unironically wanna date this cis guy” theyd be floored and possibly weirded out? Sigh, idk...

I just really like him and i only have a semester left at whitewater to be around him. I feel like im running out of time. I should just go for it!! But then the other part of me is like NO FOOL DONT DO THAT UR GOING TO FUCK IT UP!!

okay so TECHNICALLY i have 7 siblings but my 3 older step sisters i have never lived with and my 3 younger half siblings ive never even met (i am estranged from my bio dad LOL) (for the better so idc) so really i only grew up w one sibling 😭😭

i totally get it though like ice breakers are just so... awkward and no one likes doing them so idk why they're necessary 😭 i gotta say atp im not embarrassed to tell people im a kpop stan anymore bc like. thats just me. but i AM embarrassed when people CLOCK ME as a kpop stan. like idk why but it is so mortifying when someone can just look at you and be like 'youre a kpop stan arent you' LIKE ????? im literally ~alternative~ too so it makes it worse KFLJDSL:JFK
