“Good.” he responds, grinning widely. “Now I won't have to stress about your answer when I ask.” he adds, and Buck feels himself blush, butterflies in his stomach going wild. Oh. Oh. This is- this is real. They’re talking about it, and maybe someday soon- he might marry this man. He will marry this man. Tommy wants him forever. Tommy wants him. Tommy wants to marry him and have children with him, and just be with him. Sometimes it’s still so shocking to Buck that someone as great and amazing as Tommy wants him, but he does. Buck’s not sure he remembers the last time he felt this wanted.

“How- how do you know I won’t ask first?” Buck asks, moving his head slightly closer to Tommy, just enough to look into his beautiful blue eyes. It feels surreal, talking about this, when they only dated for a few months, but it also feels… right. It feels like they’re on the right track to get there one day.

sirius didn’t know why he chose to go on with astronomy throughout hogwarts. maybe he wanted to feel some sort of connection to his childhood or even himself/his namesake, but he never actually felt that connection. after a while, he considered dropping the subject in trade for one that felt easier such as muggle studies, but then someone caught his attention.

xenophilius always had a passion for the stars and the universe beyond earth’s territory. sirius saw him as a spacey, sort of esoteric, guy who tended to keep to himself. sirius found the other boy’s presence beyond intriguing and that was frankly the sole reason he hadn’t yet dropped the class. did he want to be friends with xeno? he didn’t think so. all sirius knew was that he wanted to know xeno or be some sort of acquaintance.

as time went on, they became just that; acquaintances. nothing more than exchanged comments or a brief snigger. xeno’s crude, potentially bordering on out-of-pocket, humour was perfect for sirius.

I was actually thinking about this when making the "opinion on different OP ships" thing! Because I was like "mmm Sanuso is my OTP but also Namivivi and tbh that's just a polycule bc I ship Nami with these two too... And Kaya needs to be there...". And now I can't stop thinking also about Namivivi x Kaya--

I mean. Nami x Kaya is just amazing and OPLA gave us SO much content I wasn't expecting but gladly accepted as canon. Because they're both from pretty different environments when it comes to money and social upbringings but they both lost their families. Nami finds comfort in money while Kaya sees it pointless if you don't have anybody to share it with. It gives both of them different perspectives of the world around them and I think their dynamic is sooo well done. Kaya is the sweetest but she fights for herself when she can and Nami might run away from danger but she will never leave alone somebody in need of help. Also, they're both pretty motherly and attached to kids and idk I think their relationship would work SO well. Adding Kaya to the Sanusona polycule is the best thing ever to me.

And Vivi x Kaya!!!!! I wasn't thinking about it until I made the post but now that I do I can't,,,, Stop picturing them,,,, They're like "yeah this is my girlfriend's girlfriend" but they'd end up getting along SO well. Once again I think they'd be so cute together and they'd support each other so much. Vivi would understand that your position/money doesn't make you who you are and Kaya would admire Vivi's strength and her story. Also, all of them here understand the loss of parents but I think that being a public figure makes the experience even worse because it comes with responsibility others besides Vivi and Kaya won't understand. Vivi is the princess who managed to travel and become a pirate for a while and see the world and I think Kaya (even if she is happy in her village and doesn't need anything else) would want a bit of that freedom too!

For now, this is like, my favorite ship, I think? But tbh it just goes attached to the whole East Blue polycule just... A bit different than how other people ship them? Usopp and Kaya are already dating when the story starts, then Sanuso and Namivivi happen separately, I like to think Usonami have something going on but it doesn't happen anything until WCI when Nami realizes her feelings for Sanji, and then when they come back, Kaya has like. A ton of people to love and I adore them. Also Sanji has something with Luffy and Luffy has something with Zoro but this isn't about them--

I feel also the need to clarify that to me Usopp's gender is pretty much unlabeled and Sanji's like, transfem/genderfluid so my lesbian Nami hc still stands AND it just makes things even better because this way they're all sapphics and we deserve more sapphic ships here <33

tangerine x shigeru... just me taking my toy trucks and colliding them atp . but it's just them pacing in shigeru's dark old house after shigeru rescues tangerine... and this is like a nice old japanese house in the countryside of kansai or sum shit, and the sun's gone down and the orange of the sky is dying and the far shoji doors are open to the greenery and the wind, and tangerine doesn't know how to get back to lemon and he doesn't even speak japanese and hes pacing he's pacing like an animal in a cage and he's like fuck this what the fuck and then i am not gonna fuck this old man...

and shigeru's like why does this man remind me of a young white death... it's the ambition oozing out of him... it's the need to prove himself and the insecurity. hm . so then tangerine, who's all pent up, challenges shigeru to spar and then in the middle of the thing he makes a move on shigeru without thinking (oh how instinctually easy it is to make a move on a hot old man) then it snowballs sharply and they fuck.. fast, and frantically (on tangerines end) on the gravel of the front yard.. then after dinner shigeru fucks him slowly and brutally at the dinner table .. taking that man APART !

then the next day shigerus friends locate lemon, and lemon and tangerine reunite and then it's over :oP ! ...but they both remain forever changed remembering the feeling of their handprints on each other, and in shigerus case remembering the white death as he once was also, or whateva!!

a nice short fic for the last (day 15) prompt: lantern festival! of the DZZS Lunar New Year mini prompt fest! i wasn’t fully sure what i would end up writing for this one, but i’m very happy with what i landed on :D

“Look at this!” Gu Xiang says. Gao Xiaolian follows, as always. This time, Gu Xiang has found a figurine of a rabbit lifting a lantern into the air.

“How cute,” Gao Xiaolian says. The figurine is covered in fantastically delicate details. It pales in comparison to Gu Xiang’s delighted look as she brings it up to her face to marvel over.

Gu Xiang gets distracted as she puts the statuette down, darting over to a sweets stall. Gao Xiaolian pays for the figurine, tucking it away.

“A-Xiang!” she calls out. “Wait for me!”

“Sorry, Xiaolian-jie,” Gu Xiang says, briefly contrite before spotting something else and bounding off again.

The evening grows darker, the red glow of lanterns casting soft shadows across Gu Xiang’s face. Finally, she seems to be slowing down.

“Are you tired?”

Gu Xiang shakes her head vehemently, braids bouncing against her shoulders. Gao Xiaolian wants to tug on them. “No! I’m fine.”

“Maybe I’m tired of chasing you all evening,” Gao Xiaolian teases.

“Why didn’t you say so! Sit. I’ll bring us some tangyuan.” Before Gao Xiaolian can say anything, Gu Xiang has bundled her onto a bench and hurried off.

When she returns, Gao Xiaolian laces their hands together, pulling her onto the bench too. “Thank you, A-Xiang,” she whispers.

“Growing up, I never got anything like this. I love it,” Gu Xiang admits, more honest than normal.

Gao Xiaolian wants to give her everything. She settles for quickly kissing her cheek. “You deserve celebrations, meimei.”
