6. five (the need to cosplay him is so strong)

kind of my least favorite doctor but that just shows how much i love them all. he's SO gender. in a similar way to edwin dead boy detectives. what's the genre of character that's like polite little british boy who's actually a little shit. such a charming man. i want to jump his bones. twink t-boy swag. knows exactly what he's doing presenting the way he does. plus blonde long-haired guy.... idk man it does something. luke skywalker core. he's a cutie and a terror. i feel that so hard.

5. nine 🫶

faggot and proud (when he remembers). honorary lesbian (a thing that has been bestowed upon me myself by multiple friends). struts into a room knowing but not perceiving their gender, just that they're better than you (correct).

4. fifteen (i wish he was higher tbh but he's tied with number three so)

he's my best friend. he's my pal. he's my homeboy. my rotten soldier. he's my sweet cheese. my good-time boy. not my first doctor but My Doctor (tied with twelve tbh). from the age of six i incorporated bow ties into my sense of self. only a He because that's what people called him. big he/they energy (can't believe it took me until 2020 to figure that one out for myself). i love him. he's gender. casual but decidedly un-normal bisexual.

ranking the doctor whos by how gender they are to my own personal gender (because as a whole character they're the most gender but some are more relatable than others)

utterly gremlin. he's the "cosmic hobo" for a reason. love this little guy. i just cannot have my hair and clothes be that loose and unkempt. like as a sensory thing. bottom of my personal gender experience but the vibes are there

16. fugitive (tragically)

this low because frankly i don't think i could. she feels like her gender would be the sexuality slur i can't use personally. the docs tho. and the cut of the jacket and vest. obsessed with her and her whole deal but can only tangentially

15. seven (also surprisingly)

by no means bad but the least appealing of the wizard gremlins. he's got that potential to verge into "weird older man" territory. still a wizard tho, that is an outfit i would wear and love.

14. ten (ironic number placement)

the most cis-male of the doctors and he's still got that "just us girls" line. converse are still a main shoe for me because of him and i am a sucker for a long coat always. ten is the "he" still clinging on in my they/he. he's springy and nerdy what can i say

13. war (he's just a silly guy who needs to commit war crimes)

genuinely a fun fit. his grumpy yet somehow still silly vibes are so real. even in the audios where it's not john hurt he's got this fucking trix rabbit energy to him. he also does not have time to care about his gender (except for maybe when he does) and i love that for him. so true king

looks like he'd call people slurs (in both the fun and not fun ways unfortunately). old timey willy wonka-esque creature. gender is contained in the checked trousers
