As much as I hated the Lila/five pairing just on character stand points and the fact five and Lila would honestly never do that to Diego, like come on, but like if Ritu Arya was looking at me and laughing like she did in the like montage of them moving through the timelines and was trying to make the best of it by being excited about gumballs, I would end up falling in love with her just as fast as five did. Like we would all fold and fall in love with her in like .2 seconds. And don’t you even try to deny it, look at this beautiful woman and tell me you wouldn’t be heart eyes at her

Now my opinions on how they could have done their whole thing below:

Do I wish they had made it a ‘brother-sister companionship, as two people who truly get what the other has been through and are each others wobbly support system’ yes that would have been amazing, maybe give five a long term girlfriend in the 6 years, one who he’s having trouble connecting with because he’s been through 3 end of the worlds and 45 years alone and then the commission stuff. And in the 7 years Lila and five are trying to get home, they both connect with the other on how they feel about it all and five helps Lila understand Diego more by explaining why he is the way he is, and Lila helps five understand how to open up to his partner, and sure if you want them to kiss for whatever reason, make it like a

“Yeah that was weird right? I thought it was like a thing we had but yeah let’s never speak of this, and we do not tell Diego, I don’t need him trying to stab you” and then have a lil laugh session. And maybe five hides the notebook cause he kind of likes the life in the greenhouse but the fight is more

“I have children who need me! You have a girlfriend who loves you! We have to try.” And five being so tired of the running to save the world gets on the train, goes home but as they blink to the house five wants to go back to that peaceful world, of no running of safety in a bubble. The whole explanation of they were lost for 7 years happens, five maybe is still a bit of a dick because like emotions and things. We learn what’s happening with Ben and Jennifer.

The whole store fight happens

Maybe he takes his partner maybe he doesn’t but he ends up blinking back to the subway platform again and then we get the meeting with the other fives, we understand that the end has to be a full sacrifice of the siblings.

Five returns to the hotel, and everything continues, Lila and fives partner go to the subway, but both of them get off at the last minute. And five finds them and his partner who has been with the siblings this whole time or most of the time just shrugs cause five is what she wants and she doesn’t wanna be in a timeline unable to remember him, idk you can make something up but they all go back to the hotel, and the ending happens, but five holds his partners hand and she just smiles at him as they are erased from everything, and yeah would it be a little odd? Sure.

But it would be better then what they ended up doing which was five hurts his brother and dies feeling alone and used.

They could have had five and Lila end up romantic but turned it into something different. And they realize it’s not a thing they ever wanted really it’s more they were stuck together for so long emotions got a little hazy.

Give five someone, but don’t give him someone who is already someone else’s entire heart.

Five deserved his own person, like Luther deserved to have sloane, and Allison deserved to have Ray, Viktor deserved more time with sissy, and Klaus with Dave. You don’t have to pass one around to the others just because she’s still there. You can give us a new person for five. Ok, Idk if it's just me but I can't stop thinking about the part in Anthony's letter where he asks if Ian even knows the real Ian... like, I think I'm crazy and tinhatty for seeing Ian as visibly repressed, but Anthony literally sees the exact same thing.

My very detailed thoughts are under the gifs and videos. Buckle up that's a long ass post. I put some of the parts i find interesting in the video.

First of I wanna start with comments like "oh i think Ian is emotionless he doesn't show emotions" he literally did. Watch the video. Don't just listen to his words look at his eyes.

No no no you're not alone. The more i watch him the more I'm like damn this man has a lot to unpack. Like you can see he has so many emotions but also is hiding them. At first people were like Ian is so chill, Ian doesn't care and I'm like HE CARES?? You can clearly see he cares, you can see he's affected by everything happening around, happening TO him. He's just so closed up so withdrawn even he himself doesn't know how to react to things. Just like he said he's the most chill-unchill person. He probably has a hurricane in his mind but he doesn't show it outside. I think it's because he was alone for a long time. He was definitely more open when he's with Anthony but after watching the video I think their friendship stopped being close when Anthony started dating his girlfriend at the time. Ofc there was probably some stuff between them they're friends since 6th grade, but the strings broke and they stopped being best friends probably at that time. And probably after this Ian started to press his feelings. Cause I think he tried to talk to Anthony about that person but it backfired so he stopped it all together. At the time he probably didn't have enough close friends and after Anthony left he was just alone in his thoughts. Ofc he had partners he had co workers, friends, employees but at that point he was already in a state where "it's better if i just shut up about my own feelings/emotions/thoughts cause they're wrong they're the reason my best friend leave me" and everything else, the company, the break-ups whatever it was all his problems, he's the boss, he had to take care of everything and he had to protect his friends/company and everything. He should be the one doing it without bothering others. And that's why he's now "chill" he put on an unbothered person mask to stay strong in the game. He built strong walls around his emotions. He hide them so much that he lost his ability to show his emotions in the meantime. He's an amazing listener, problem solver, perfect boss and friend and best friend probably but he's not good to himself. His feelings are pressed, he has a lot to unpack probably. Idk if Anthony and him talk about everything (i don't think tho i don't think ian could just trauma dump) and i feel like he has to. Not just talking about shit happened before like they say in the video, no he has to talk about his feelings, how he feels about what happened, how he feels now, is he hurt, is he heartbroken. Without a filter. Like he had to leave the labels behind and idk have an open conversation with someone(probably a therapist tbh) and realize that showing emotions is not weak or wrong. And he's not alone. Maybe he felt that way before but he has friends, he has a whole family actually. I really don't believe he's an emotionless person he's just so so introverted in his emotions. And he's lost in his insecurities.

First of all you can see he's emotionally unstable already when he said let's keep going because he's either afraid he's gonna show emotions(god forbid he shed a tear) or so emotional to talk about the subject.

"I don't think I would even recognize if I was being put through emotional turmoil. This is just so sad.

"That doesn't mean you weren't being put through it, that just might mean that you're shutting things off" Anthony explained so well in this sentence.

And this part i definitely agree with Anthony. "How do you know if I'm keeping it to myself?" Cause eyes never lie chico! We can see the sadness showing from them. The fake smile thing is like. Ok yeah I don't think he's fake smiling in every smile but i think when he's actually hurt he just smiles at the person hurting him. Even in this video there are so many moments that you can see he's upset he just smiles and moves on. Not wanting to make things worse or trying to keep everything going. Don't wanna mess up again. But you can't live a life like that. You can't just accept everything anyone is giving and not have a breaking point. Idk him so idk if he had that point already or he'd have that in the future but i know if he keeps ignoring everything and trying to push them aside it's burst. (It's not about Anthony leaving this is not about anyone else I'm talking about Ian's feelings)

And the last part yeah I think we know the real Ian. Cause even if he pushes his feelings aside he's who he is. Him hiding his hurt moments is not gonna affect anyone but himself.

Also wanna add I was so so upset when he said he thought Smosh was his and Ian was just a sidekick to him and even then Ian just smiled and kept going. It's so obvious he knows Anthony felt that way at the time. He's not shocked about this. He probably had his moments about that. I'm so glad Anthony realized that Smosh is not this and that Smosh is them together. And praise him every chance he has for that.

Lastly. I was really sad when Ian said "I forgive you" and Anthony laughed with "for what?" I think this was the only moment we actually see Ian trying to show his emotions and Anthony's joke makes it go away immediately and Ian smiled and hid his emotions again with "just kidding". Again this is all me just putting my thoughts out there but I think Ian deserved an apology or at least a thank you(which Anthony probably did them in private i think) cause he fought to keep Smosh together for years alone. So there was something Anthony could ask forgiveness for. Yes it was the best decision for Anthony and his mental health and it definitely helped him. And Ian could have left with him but didn't. But if he didn't try to stay and fight there wouldn't be a Smosh to turn back to. Wow that was dark.

Anyways this is me overthinking for something I shouldn't at fuckin 2am and I swear I have a life outside this. I just love analysing shit and talking about it ok?

Jaehyun is pretty delulu when it comes to his foreign fanbase so he feels more confident dating a foreigner who’s also a poc.

Johnny relates more to foreigners than he does than Korean citizens. So he could date like a foreign poc or other foreign Asians that are similar to him. For example, First generation citizens would peak his interest because it would be a similar background to his. He could date mostly the "Suburban" type of poc. Johnny's dating history isn't as diverse as the others in comparison but he is open to it!

Taeyong is leaning towards the idea but not entirely if it makes sense. The desire is there but he’s also aware that being in a relationship with someone who’s not from the same background as him would be a difficult path to pursue. He could know people who are mixed or in interracial relationships possibly? As in half Korean or friends his age who have a partner who’s not the same race, so hearing their experiences makes him very understanding of that and he would want to approach someone who’s not the same race as him without as much knowledge as possible. I don’t feel he would have an issue complimenting someone or telling them he’s attracted to them. I don’t believe he has a preference honestly. It’s whoever he is attracted to at the moment that he’d date.

If the opportunity presented itself then yes, Yuta would date a foreigner. I feel it would be more of a fling though. He’s not interested in settling down at the moment. Yuta prefers to see how things unfold naturally and doesn’t date with the intention of a committed relationship. His mindset is like “If I fall in love, cool, if I don’t, that’s cool too “. He’s more free spirited when it comes to love.

WinWin could be in a relationship with someone already 😭? Or this just means he’s dated a foreigner before? He doesn’t think much of it. He’s romantic so any person who intrigues him, WinWin would be happy regardless. If there’s a connection he’d be willing to explore that dynamic.

Dazai, the little thief he is, was holding Kunikida’s notebook in his hand. He was pestering you into reading it, more specifically Kunikida’s ideal woman. He knew all about your feelings for the blond man and has been encouraging you to make some kind of move so you guys could become “the office parents”. His words.

“Why don’t you just read it by yourself, if you’re so curious?” you finally asked, crossing your arms. You couldn’t get back to your work because Dazai had planted his big, fat butt right on your desk.

He pouted in front of you, “It won’t be as fun to read alone.”

“You’re telling me that you, the most impatient man I’ve ever met, haven’t looked inside at all. Just because it will be more fun with someone else,” you replied, rolling your eyes at the childish coworker in front of you.

“Yup! And who would be the better person to read it with, than you my dear y/n. The woman who is in love with our dear Kunikida,” Dazai proudly announced.

You placed your hands on his mouth, a blush covering your face, “Shh, don’t say that too loud. Someone could hear you, idiot.”

You were curious to know which of his ideals you fit. It wasn’t very likely that you would fit every single one but the more you did, the better. The more of his ideals that you fit, the better chance you had to be with him.

You opened the book, flipping to the section about his ideal women with Dazai breathing over your shoulder.

You knew how much effort he put in his ideals but you didn’t expect this. The list of factors to make Kunikida’s ideal woman was. . . extensive and informational. The list seemed to go on infinitely, characteristic after characteristic.

There were a couple of general traits that you had. Stuff like hard-working and kind. But some of the more specific characteristics that were written in his notebook, did not describe you whatsoever. You felt sick to your stomach, now. You had been in love with Kunikida for so long that the girls often teased you into making a move and now, you find out that Kunikida wants a woman who is nothing like you.

Tears started falling from your face the more you stared at Kunikida’s notebook and Dazai felt like absolute shit. He doesn’t understand what he got wrong, it was so obvious to him how Kunikida feels about you.

Wanting to comfort you, Dazai placed a hand on your shoulder. He softly took the book from your hands, you simply let him. Dazai stood in front of you, “I’m so sorry, y/n. I didn’t know. . .”

You looked up at him, giving him a teary-eyed smile. Not wanting him to feel bad, you responded, “It’s okay Dazai. It’s not your fault. At least I now know that I never had a chance.”

Dazai looked down at you, “I promise I wouldn’t have made you read it, if I had known. I swear that I thought he felt for you.”

You stood up, wiping your hands on your work skirt. You gave Dazai a forced smile, “Really, it’s okay, Dazai. Please don’t feel bad.”

You gave him a quick hug, making sure to get your point across before making your way to the cafe downstairs. You needed to clear your head for a bit.

You were towards the back of the cafe, enjoying a coffee and people watching. You had calmed down quite a bit but you were still a bit heartbroken at the news. You’re just lucky you hadn’t run into him yet.

Dr. Yosano and Naomi Tanizaki walked up to you with a stressed looking Junichiro being dragged along. You gave them all a smile, “Wanna join me?”

Naomi dragged her brother into the opposite side of the booth as you and Yosano sat next to you. She turned to you, “We were thinking of throwing a little party this weekend at the agency. Will you come?”

You gave her a dubious expression, “I don’t know. You know I’m not much of a party person.”

Naomi piped up, “It’s just a small get together. A break from all the work we do.”

Yosano hummed, seeing you hesitate, “There will be food and booze.”

Upon hearing that, you immediately agreed. You deserved to let loose and unwind.

All week, you’ ve been a mess. Kunikida ended up getting in a fight with Dazai about stealing his notebook, yet again, and thankfully your name was kept out of it. You’ve tried your best to avoid Kunikida as best you could without it being obvious. He’s been nothing but kind to you, as he always is, but you couldn’t help but remember that he definitely doesn’t love you the way that you love him.

He must have sensed that something was up with you. After a week of you avoiding him, he was quick to approach you, “Hey, y/n.”

You looked up from your book, shocked. You came down to the cafe for your lunch break and decided to spend it reading. It was as subtle as you could be to stay away from the handsome man in front of you. Remembering that he had greeted you, you finally responded, “Hello.”

Kunikida sat down across from you. Usually, the fact that he would want to sit with you rather than work would send you into a blushing frenzy. But now, it sent unease swirling in your gut as you were reminded of his ideals, seeing the notebook peeking out of his jacket pocket.

“I feel like we haven’t talked in a bit. I wanted to check on you,” he stated, matter of factly. As he pushed his glasses further up his nose, you took note of the slight tremor in his hand, a sign of his true worry for you.

“I’m good, just a little busy working,” you explained. It wasn’t exactly a lie, as you had been working a lot to keep your mind off of the man in front of you.

He gave you a look, as if he didn’t believe you, but decided against pushing it. “I have a missing persons case and I was wondering if you would accompany me.”

Dubiously, you questioned, “What about Ranpo? And isn’t Dazai your partner?”

Kunikida squinted at you, “Ranpo is being Ranpo, so no help from him. I’m also in no mood to deal with the likes of Dazai.”

You watched Kunikida's jaw clench at the mention of Dazai. Ever since Dazai had stolen his notebook, for probably the umpteenth time, Kunikida has been more pissed off than usual with the bandaged freak. You had a feeling that he knew Dazai shared the contents of his ideals with you but since he never spoke of it, you didn’t bring it up either.

Despite your better judgment, you agreed to tag along. You still felt for him and it was impossible for you to deny your heart’s wish of spending all the time you can with him.

The case was a bit cut and dry. You and Kunikida fell into your usual partner routine and it felt normal between you guys for the first time in a week. You guys had always worked well together so it wasn’t exactly a surprise when the both of you had solved the case by the end of the night.

Walking back to the agency, you broke the comfortable silence. With a tinge of hope in your voice, you asked him, “Are you coming to the little party that the girls are having tomorrow?”

“I was hoping to get home before the festivities start,” he replied, giving you a look. “I’m surprised that you want to go. Those aren’t usually your thing.”

You blushed at the fact that he knew you that well. “Well, I’m not one to pass on food and booze. I really hope you make an appearance.”

Now why the hell did you say that? The main reason that you were going was so your heart could be protected from him. It looks like your heart and brain don’t seem to be connected at the moment.

Kunikida sighed, but smiled nonetheless, “I might be able to fit it into my schedule, for you.”

Your smile increased tenfold when hearing that. Why did you want to forget about him in the first place?

The next night, you really let loose. Kunikida ended up coming but refused to drink. You had been happily singing and dancing with Naomi and Atsushi, thoroughly enjoying the night. By the end of it, you may have been just a little more drunk than was good for you. 

You had tumbled into the nearest person, who happened to be Dazai. He spoke to you, “I think you should head home now, y/n.”

You pushed him away from you and announced, “I’m completely fine-” then tripped over your own feet. Kunikida, who has been keeping a keen eye on you all night, was quick to catch your falling body.

“Dazai’s right. Let me take you home,” he informed you, wrapping your arms on him so he could walk you.

“Ooh, Kunikida, at least take me to dinner first before we do that,” you easily replied. Your loose tongue will be the death of you, but you were too drunk to care.

He didn’t even offer you a reply, just a sharp, scolding look. Wordlessly, he walked until you were outside. The fresh air felt nice on your hot body. 

On your way back to your place, Kunikida finally let go of you, once it seemed that you could walk straight-ish without falling over. The silence that had washed over both of you was making you slightly uncomfortable. Did he really not want to talk to you at all?

You didn’t fill the silence until the both of you had made it to your couch and he brought you a glass of water. “Doppo, what’s wrong with me?”

Kunikida was both surprised at your use of his first name as well as your question. He was so gobsmacked that he never answered you.

“I just mean, I’m not your ideal woman, like at all. Dazai and I read each of the traits you wrote down that you want in a woman and I only fit like a handful,” you explained. You cupped your hands together to show him a handful. “The worst part is that with every fiber of my being, I still want to be with you, despite knowing that I would not make you happy. And I just want you to be happy.”

Kunikida was sweating next to you. He just found out that you feel the exact same way he does for you but that you don’t feel worthy of him. He wanted to explain it all to you but knew that with you being as drunk as you were, it would fall on deaf ears. I mean, you were already half asleep next to him at the moment.

He broke from his thoughts to kiss your forehead, before replying, “We will talk about this in the morning, when you’re sober. There is no reason for you to be worried.”

You were asleep before you heard him speak.

The next morning, you woke up feeling like absolute shit. You flipped over, facing away from the sunlit blinds, to find a glass of water and some pain relievers. Without wondering where they came from, you took both greedily.

A knock on the door startled you, not knowing who could possibly be in your apartment right now. After a few seconds, Kunikida came in holding a hot cup of tea. He was just wearing his usual black shirt and khakis, the vest and bow gone. His hair was a little messy and his glasses were crooked. If this is what he looks like in the morning, you do not mind one bit.

“I slept on your couch, I hope that’s okay. I wanted to make sure you weren’t too sick today,” he offered you the cup of tea.

You gladly took the cup of tea and gave him a smile, “Of course. I’m assuming the fact that I’m in bed and not passed out on the office floors, you took me home.”

“You would be right,” he nervously pushed his glasses up his nose. “Do you remember anything from last night?”

You remembered enough to be shamefully embarrassed. Without looking at him, you replied, “Yup.”

Kunikida let out a sigh of relief. He wiped his hands on his pants before speaking, “Thank you for being honest. Now I would like to explain myself since I didn’t get a chance last night.”

You coughed and blushed, embarrassed. You were unsure of where this conversation may go, your stomach swirling with unease.

“Now, let me begin by saying that the ideal traits in a woman that you read, were written ages ago, long before I met you,” He gave you a look but you were too busy staring at your tea cup to notice. You didn’t want to get your hopes up but you still listened.

“You should know that my ideals are important to me, but it can be said that they will age just as I age. I think one of the ideals that can be added would be that ‘she loves me, even after reading my ideals’ or that ‘she wants me to be happy,’” Kunikida explained.

You finally looked up at him. The look he was giving you was filled with pure adoration, something that was mirrored on your face. You carefully set your tea down, before looking at him again, “So what are you saying, Doppo?”

He inched closer to you, “I’m saying that there is no woman other than you, that is for me. If you will have me of course.”

Without hesitation, you replied, “Of course, I’ll have you.”

The space between you felt magnetic. The both of you were getting closer to each other without even realizing. Without a word, you filled the gap between you, kissing Kunikida with as much passion as you had.

In shock, he failed to kiss you back. That was until you kissed him with extra fervor. He got the idea and didn’t hesitate to deepen the kiss. You felt at peace in this moment and if it was possible, you would never leave.

Genesis: I actually HATED Genesis initially in the og CC game. I thought he was a lame addition and just like… idk, they wanted Gackt in the game so they made his presence plot relevant? OOOUGH, I was so mad… But then I saw how the rpc and fandom treats him, which is honestly even WORSE SOMEHOW??? So I decided to try writing him seriously and what do you know, I actually kinda like it.

Verdot: I literally have to make the content I wanna see in this rpc, such is my burden. my curse...

(OCs) - I wanted to write about the themes I have on my pinned and honestly, there were so many Tseng rpers who I am friends and mutuals with that knock it out of the fucking ballpark- I just didn't feel like I'd have ANYTHING new or good to contribute to the exploration of his character? So I made an OC :P And he's really changed so much! I remember when I was still making my own art for him and he wasn't QUITE like there the way I wanted him to be, but I didn't have anything better to employ as a faceclaim or reference to draw from. And then Cas was like "btw here's a manga about your HYPERFIXATION" and Kokonoi's general appearance and vibe was a great starting point to go off of instead.

Anyway, There's always things I had planned for Jae in the works or on the backburner, but he has really evolved over the span of years I've been writing him, so I really appreciate every person who took the time to check him out and build something with him.

You know, I have been becoming more lenient with allowing myself to write certain things. I always end up being afraid of how people will react to certain themes I explore because... let's be real, a lot of people are pretty intolerant to opinions that are different than theirs. So long as whatever I and/or my partner explore is handled with the care and respect it deserves, I don't really see an issue with much anymore. Hell, I was terrified to post that one drabble fleshing out Jae meeting Veld for the first time because I was afraid people would see Jae's reaction to killing someone as somehow 'excusing abuse' because he wasn't dancing on the guy's corpse and actually showed remorse for what he did. It's fears of what I write about being misconstrued like that that really makes me hesitant to even talk about certain ideas with partners. But I'm getting over that, little by little and step by step.

Something where you're really getting inside the character's head for a moment to see past all of their walls and facades, or sometimes you're still seeing what they tell THEMSELVES is the real undiluted truth, but isn't. I just love that kinda stream of consciousness really dig deep into the VOICE of a character exploration. Makes me feel lots of emotions.

Music helps get me inspired initially, especially since I make spotify playlists for all my muses (and ships :P), so generally I'm cool with music, but usually I zone in too much on my own writing to pay attention. It's like my sense of hearing turns off.

Both- There's always a general sort of... idea or outcome that me and my partner would LIKE to shoot for? And sometimes we just don't get there, because it really depends on what the characters do/say and how it's taken by the other muse.

For example, I was roleplaying a thread with @steeleidolon's Kunsel where he and Jae are trying to broker a deal and Kunsel ends up saying something to the effect of "your people" and he means the Turks. Jae, on the other hand, hears 'your people' and assumes Kunsel was bringing up his race and the perception of fellow people from Wutai or Hanuel being unfairly insular. So, it kinda went to shit, LOL.

It's little things like that that can color your muse's reaction to sometimes very different degrees than what you plan for!

I like complicated dynamics and no, I will never shut up about them. Ships for me don't even have to strictly be romantic or sexual in nature, so like- I have some interactions I'm still feeling out with @saishuu-heiki that are platonic but leaning in a distinctly enemy/frenemy/challenges other person kind of vibe? And I think it's great! They don't HAVE to be like "we're friends, we're lovers, or we hate each other'- Like, limiting all your interactions to one of those three options gets really boring for me...

I just got to thinking how 2p! Alastor. If he is an omega caregiver in this AU, how would he handle his littles ruts? Would it be like a stereotypical alpha/omega dynamic? Alternatively, how would he deal with his own heats? I feel like an alpha little would be okay because of instinct, but still kinda overwhelmed, but a beta little would get extremely overwhelmed and be more likely to regress. Then be confused with why their papa appears to be in pain and needy and they struggle to help them.

Oh, Alastor's 2p Little would also be an Omega (at least in my fic), Omegas aren't repulsed by each other during their heats like Alphas are to each other during their ruts, in fact really close unbonded Omegas will likely begin to psync up with one another. It's not uncommon in heaven for Omegas to help each other out during heats, weirdly enough, though one will take up the mantel of "temporary Alpha" in a way and take care of the other much like an Alpha would, whether that be using a sharable toy as a kind of strap on or if they're male presenting using their own cock. It can be a little more exhausting for both partners because once the one is satiated, the "Alpha" still needs to be, so they'd probably be riding or tribbing the person below them even if they're passed out. If they don't have a cock they'd probably be using their fingers, tongue, or a sharable toy or strap on. It's a very hot, messy, and over stimulating affair for one, if not both of them.

I've spoken on this a bit, but I don't think an Alpha Little could exist outside of heaven, or if they did, they'd be slowly going insane with the secondary gender and designation conflicting desires. Betas, hoelwever, are a thing and in some hypothetical situation we're Alastor were to go into heat with a Beta Little I feel like he'd have assigned somebody to watch them, but Betas, while they don't really have instincts, aren't completely scent blind and Little instincts can shut off due to high amounts of pheromones in the air (unless they're given a specific cocktail the V's have made to force them into littlespace but more on that with the staticmoth fic) so if a Beta can clearly smell it their Little side will temporarily shut off as a way of protecting their truly innocent side. At that point, they could go get Husk or Vaggie and figure out what to do if they don't understand whats going on (thpugh I feel like Alastor would've had a talk with them if he was about to go into heat). Even in heat, though, Alastor would never go as far as to assault his litte fawn so they have no worries. Though it'd probably be a weird sensation being the only truly sane one in a room and helping out someone who's heat drunk. Especially if that someone were as powerful as Alastor. However, let's not forget Alastor is not your standard Omega if he doesn't want you near him before his heat starts he won't want you near him during and he has used his state to lure out unsuspecting Alphas before just to slaughter them as they would've gladly assaulted the unfortunate Omega who was in heat. Since it is 2p his shadow is the grounded one, the one who keeps him sane and helping protect him even when vulnerable, and possibly even the one who takes care of him in his heat before Reader comes along, idk he might have had Husk help him out but strictly as a friend doing another friend a favor as he doesn't see Husk in the romantic light for whatever reason (I know the reason I just don't wanna get into it since this ask is already long enough and I am off on a tangent again >.>)

Hi! I'm a charlastor shipper and also Ace with some side Aro, I'm still discovering/struggling with my own sexuality, but I can say I'm Ace.

This is a small rant and I speak this for myself and myself only.

There are lots of things I wanna say about the ship but I can simply say I love it. I think having Alastor in a relationship isn't a bad thing, AceAro can still be in a relationship, it's not black and white, it's a fluid spectrum (for me tbh, idk about what others think).

One thing I felt frustrated about the antis or the fandom in general, they used Alastor own Ace(Aro) card to dismiss charlastor. Now we have the bs father-daughter relationship excuse, not to mention, the bi-erasure.

Bi-erasure aside, people comments under charlastor contents with "but Alastor is Ace(Aro, usually Ace)" screams AceArophobics to me, it implied AceAro people can't have sex, can't be in a relationship, can't have a normal healthy sex life .

At first, it didn't bother me much until I kept seeing "but Alastor is ace" under charlastor contents everywhere. Maybe they didn't realised how AceArophobics they are, but that doesn't mean they should weaponized Alastor own sexuality and comment it under charlastor (or any ships!) posts.

It's hurtful how "X is AceAro" commented is, how the antis or the fandom didn't actually care about AceAro and just weaponized the ace(aro) cards of a fictional character to passive-aggressive toward X ships.

Not all Ace people is sex-replused! Not all Ace people doesn't like sex! Not all Ace people doesn't want to be in a relationship!

There are some personal rants I didn't put it here, but in the end, I don't speak for all AceAro. Nor others AceAro with different opinions speak for me.

But this is how I felt about antis and the people with "Alastor is ace" comments, to me, you're all Ace(Aro)phobics without realising it.

AroAce people or people on the spectrum CAN be in relationships and CAN have sex. They can kiss. They can do everything people in relationships do BUT they just would feel it differently! She doesn't feel sexual attraction AT ALL. But she likes the feeling of power or being dominated in a non-sexual way. (If I see people say "Well, then she's not Ace!" I will kick you.)

And since when did people care about sexuality?? Why do we care about fictional character's sexuality instead of real people? I know some people ship Vaggie and Angel. I also know people that ship Angel and Valentino. And you know what? If this person is not someone disgusting and they did no harm. Let them do whatever they want on the internet (it's a slippery slope. But I mean that people do whatever they want RESPONSIBLY). Let them ship some the most amoral things. Let them have their own corner as long as they realize the difference between fiction and reality. My policy will mark me as a "problematic shipper" but I honestly don't care. Pro shipping was never about problematic shipping - it was about respecting all kinds of shipping and ships.

If you are not into something - block it. Control your own space, set boundaries and be the one who makes the first move. A lot of times in life no one will stop talking about the things they like just because you don't like it. It will just make you an asshole to them or they'll think of you as someone weird and irresponsible.

Instead, you leave. You don't go to the place that makes you unhappy. You don't go somewhere just to rant and say "this is unacceptable!" When it's about INTERESTS.

It’s fine idk man I don’t think you or anyone can really say they fully know that. I am sure that I’ve complained about a close friend to a significant other before and I feel like it’s a given that those things you say in moments of annoyance or whatever between you and your partner and said in confidence. Hi! I’m a big fan of works and they’ve inspired me a lot to start writing fanfiction again(specifically Naoya lol). It’s been probably over 10 years since I’ve written fanfiction(Although I do write my own original works) and I’ve been horrified to write fanfiction again after how my first fanfic was treated when I wrote it as a kid(the criticism was valid but they were mean af about it). So I was wondering if you have any tips you could share about writing fanfiction and how you balance characterization as well as character growth for a character like Naoya who in canon does not really have any? I hope this makes sense. I’m willing to elaborate further if it doesn’t but if you don’t wanna answer this, it’s totally fine too-💚

Now onto the good stuff hehehe.

So, I guess the best way about characterization, at least what I think has helped me (and how I handle it? excuse me if it doesn't make sense hahah) is trying to first analyze the environment in which said character grew in, how it affects him, and how it has affected people in real life. (cause at the end of the day, reality surpasses fiction)

For example: with what little we got from Naoya in the manga (extras included) I can easily say Naoya is not liked, thus, he’s very lonely. The type of person that surrounds himself with “yes-people” because of what they represent, not because of who they really are. Of course, the older he got the more cold/resentful he became, but even then, I was sure that he always craved what he never had in his life, a family. Love. Appreciation for who he is. All humans want that, we’re social people, we live in societies for a reason. We need to have companionship, either through partners, or friendships.

I also get the idea that, even when he was supposed to be the next heir, no one really wanted him. Like, he got the job because “There was no one else” to do it, not because he was the best candidate. I have no doubt that if Naoya failed his weird plan of getting rid of Megumi, or whatever he did he didn’t become heir anyways, he wouldn’t know what the hell to do with his life, an identity crisis would certainly be on his way.

Anyways, in order to get inspiration I tend to hear lots of podcasts about people and their peculiar stories, true crime even, it’s how I concluded that Naoya is definitely a womanizer not because he likes the act (I’m sure he does) but because he craves attention, and he needs it whenever he can. That kind of stuff, you know? A lot of psychology stuff too, it helps you understand what traits a lonely person can inhibit, their actions, what different environments do to different people, so on and so forth.

Also, reading other stories is certainly very inspiring/productive too :> I can easily say that Naoya and his family is based on the Todoroki’s from bnha: prodigy child, rest of the children are neglected, some of then even jealous… it just made sense. And I’m sure there’s more examples like that. There’s no shame in getting inspired by other works, as long as it’s not a carbon copy, you know?

In the end, I guess the best way to do characterization/character growth is to do lots of brainstorming, in the sense of: what is the environment that this character grew in? the problems he can face in such place, the reaction, his main goal, what he’s doing to obtain it, and so on. Developing these things will make the pieces slowly fall into place when it comes to making a character’s background/growth/personality 🤭it’s really fun, more so when you have a blank canvas to work on 😏
