Really; like their LGI numeral, "even if I try to think, IDK!!!." There's a lot to address with them, but I don't exactly know what arc they'll follow. It feels like for every path I feel their character could take, I can also imagine it taking the exact opposite at the same time.

Their relationship with Hu and Rose are certainly the most notable aspects to consider atm. I really don't have much of an idea of how everything with Hu is gonna go, especially since Hu doesn't seem to have moved on from defending Nico just yet (see: "you keep accusing Nico!" (paraphrased) from EP15), but I can't imagine it'll go well. Nico already seems to be getting annoyed at Hu, but given how most people around them might distance themselves from the attempted murderer, I could see a world where they try to put up with her as a sort of "only one who forgives me" sorta deal? Or not? I currently don't have a good enough read on Nico's character to tell.

Rose is the one where I feel Nico might make some kind of attempt to reconcile. She's very clearly upset, but Nico did apologize to her in EP15 when they still didn't seem all that apologetic to Ace (beyond a small "I'm sorry" voice clip over triple dot dialogue), and it's been established in FTE that Nico legitimately enjoys spending time with Rose. Especially as Rose's mental state continues to deteriorate (I pray she looks away from Ace's execution my girl will not handle it well if she doesn't), I could see a Nicorose resurrection for her to try and remain stable. As long as she doesn't completely break down, it would be an interesting arc to explore.

That is, if Nico doesn't distance themselves from Rose to avoid conflict, which is certainly a Thing that Could Happen.

They're not the only ones. Veronika could end up getting involved, given she now has some kind of relation to Hu via the secret pact, and she's probably curious about Nico's mindset? There is that one comic dev drew of the two of them for Christmas, I could see the dynamic being explored further. Additionally, Levi could offer some interesting foiling of some kind, given Nico and him are now both confirmed murderer/attempted murderers.

But standalone... I genuinely don't know, I feel it depends too much on what other characters do and what circumstances befall them. I have zero clue where Nico's going to go, and that's exciting! Hope this answer isn't too underwhelming, thanks for the ask anyways!

I saw that you are now all caught up with Dead Friend Forever, as an horror fan do you have any hints or ideas for how the show is going to end? I am just loving all the theories in this fandom, and wanted to know if you have some.

LOL I'm actually writing up a big post about the film influences of DFF, like what horror genres and works I think the show is pulling from.

I'll be honest, I'm not much of a theorist when it comes to guessing the trajectory of a story. Or maybe I'm just not good at solving mysteries lol I'd def be the Shaggy of a group rather than the Velma.

Right now some of my current theories, if I were to call them such, are:

The show ending will be similar to Girl From Nowhere's s1 finale where everything was actually a drug induced violent mass hallucination and the story will end more open ended and unsettling than definitive. Which I would be totally down for, but I get the feeling most in fandom wouldn't be.

I think, just based on what I've observed, folks in fandom want a more clear-cut slasher based ending with a "final girl" and such which, DFF isn't much of a slasher to me (I'll argue my point regarding this in my film post about the series I promise) it has the bare bones of a slasher but not the soul of one.

So my other theory is that's the ending DFF will have, a more by-the-numbers slasher based ending with maybe one final plot twist - like idk White being involved or something - and one char surviving - personally if this is the ending the show has I think it'll be Jin who is the "final girl" as it would match the short film footage we saw of their movie.

Which I would be fine with, but less impressed by overall. Not because I don't like Jin, I actually do as a char - ppl are really harsh on the char tho damn also the TaCopper vs TaBarcode ship wars are PEAK weirdo tinhat behavior to me anyways - but it is the most predictable ending. Even if it's not Jin and it's some other char a "final girl" style ending feels, hm, fine. Not bad but just fine.

I think another possible ending is that no one survives, as per Non's rewritten script. Which would be a bummer but could be interesting depending on how it's done.

My totally 100% out of the hot pocket theory is this has all been an elaborate movie set up ala Urban Legends 2 which I think would make everyone mad but the chaos of it all would crack me the fuck up and I'd love it for that alone.

So yeah, nothing to in detail just some general possible thoughts on the ending. Like could Non be alive? Yeah I could buy that, I could buy he's dead-dead too. I think whether he is or isn't will be a final act plot twist though, and not "the ending". So even if he is alive, whether he survives after would still be up in the air.

Most slashers end with the slasher dying at the hands of the final girl as a cathartic way to "murder the monster for survival". Again I don't think DFF is much of a slasher, but if fandom thinks it is then we gotta acknowledge that as a major part of the sub genre as well.

Oof, this is a tough one - it depends on your own metric for emotional devastation, I think? Biggest YMMV in the world. Let me try and paint a picture without too many spoilers..

So, for me, while i was very annoyed at no renewal, but i wouldn't say i was the specific kind of devastated you get at an overt and unresolved network TV 'who got shot' cliffhanger? Like, spoiler-free, it does end in the way a serial story 'ends' with a Holy Shit What's Next, and not in the way a movie 'ends' with a sunset ride or whatever: it's an explicit set-up for anticipated future activity (which we'll not now ever see), HOWEVER my own feelings towards it have allowed me to start a rewatch, as opposed to rage-quitting. In my mind, any of the things i hoped for in Season 2 or 3 are still on the table, in a strange way. They won't be shown to me visually, but they're not prevented by the narrative as it exists now, and where/how it stopped. They're just out there, in the ether. I have no need for fix-it fic for the way it ended, but rather 'what-next-fic'.

It's not a spoiler to say it's sci-fi, rather than just a costume drama, but I feel it has things in common with the way Westworld HBO used to end its seasons - they were always flexible enough to act as series finales if needed. Like, they would always end on a note of 'Gasp! and what NEXT!', but also if they happened to get cancelled and stop there at the point of Dolores gaining sentience, or the hosts escaping the park, even though you'd still be hanging out for 'but goddamn i WANT to know what next', and yet it would kind of feel resolved in a way also? Something had still been achieved in each season finale, and the next season set up was laid before you, on a note of 'now what??'

Idk, I never fully watched Lost, but I feel like people got into that show in 2 ways: some folks were obsessed with the puzzle, and had to know The Exact Meaning of each weird thing and needed Answers and a sense of Guessing And Winning to feel satisfied in the show. Other folks simply became fixated on the personal dynamics, and really commited to how each characater gradually revealed more about the kind of person they were, and how they relate to each other within the specific weird boundaries of the story. You'll enjoy 1899 if you're along for the ride re: the second type, but if you're the first type, and have to Know, and value things like 'canon', it'll bug you, probably.

Like, this is possibly my own tendency to make lemonade out of shitty, bitter, network cancellation lemons, but i approach it as one very long Twilight Zone story - it ends in a way that is an Unresolved Resolution. Something was ultimately achieved, and then gently set down without following on. Like short story chock full of 'what ifs and what nexts', it presents them to you, but ultimately leaves them unexplored in full.

In this show, Hercule Poirot is never going to come out and explain it all to our full satisfaction, but if Rod Serling came out and and said 'wow did you see that! that was messed up! anyway, this has been the Twilight Zone', that wouldn't be out of place. It Ends without ending.

If this isn't helpful and you're not in a place where this is conducive, feel free to ignore this; won't hurt my feelings or anything.

If you're insurance isn't covering the medication, your doctor can do a Prior Authorization (or a PA). A doc can do it from scratch but the pharmacy can also fax them the basic paperwork to get started. Basically the doc has to write some stuff to try to convince insurance to cover the med anyways. Depending on how quickly the doc does this, it can take a business week to process. PAs are usually good for 1 year from when they're written or until the end of that insurance year (usually the new year). If they deny it, you can have your doc appeal it and there's a good track record of appeals working.

If the medication is the brand name, you can look up what's call a manufacturer coupon, some of which can be used as a one-time thing instead of insurance and some of which can be used as a multi-use in conjuction with insurance. (These exist cuz the brand name is more expensive but they want you to take theirs instead of the generic. Somehow this makes them money. Don't ask me how.) I know you're worried about the regular availability of the med, but a one-time manufacturer coupon can help you get the first fill of the rx while the pa is in process, if that helps at all.

If you're getting it at a walgreens, there's also the walgreens savings finder. It'll look up which coupon is the best coupon (the goodrx type) that walgreens accepts. (Idk if other pharmacy chains have something similar since I only work for walgreens.) These coupons vary over time, so they might not consistently give a good price, but it IS an alternative to look into.

If you want to, you can also call insurance and ask what similar meds they do cover if not this one. If it's a c2 stimulant, for example, then you'd ask them if any of those are covered. Then you can bring that list to the doc and ask if any of those are a good alternative. (Your doc will have no idea which ones your prescription insurance covers.) (This is definitely one of the least appealing options because who the fuck wants to call their insurance? But it is an option.)

and it'd be a slower transition, at least at first. i don't think it'd even be in like the first ten playthroughs even if you were isekai'd into this au after reading my ramblings on it and went for it (i mean you could ask but that doesn't sound like a y/n moment at all lmao)

anyway

you'd end up following whoever the main person in the playthrough is (personally, i'm seeing albedo for this but pretty much anyone would work and they'd all have their own twist on it) into like the "backscenes" and everything that's going on with the others while you're having fun with whatever run you're doing

introduction into how the cult works!

you might find it strange on how they're not preaching to you or trying to make you (or your insert) join or anything of the sort which is v weird with cults. you don't get any options to ask to join or if they have a point to showing it to you or if they want you & it's like they're just showing it off

if you end up talking to yourself like 'are they gonna try and make me join' you'll be assured otherwise and may or may not get an excuse on why you're being told all these secrets especially since it's the majority of the playthrough so wtf why do they trust you usually it's better thought out than that (even if, y'know, they usually trust you off the bat anyway it's just a different vibe tho)

but more and more you'll start to notice how they seem to address you as the person behind the screen than another character, more than with most insert protagonists

nonetheless, they know you well by now and know how to keep it on the dl until the reveal. after all, they're meant to be entertaining you, especially while you're so kind as to spend your time on their real life behind the scenes of your games

but yes, you'll get to the reveal that the whole cult (or, well, religion, but y'all already know) thing is dedicated to you, the actual player

now i can see several endings from there, some of which are too disconnected to put into words but i'll do the ones i can

let's start with a simple one: they place your puppet on a pedestal to worship directly while they still have time in the run. you can make this as typically religious to as saucy as you want. they'll be happy. pretty typical sorta ending for this

the "bad" end (depending on who you ask) where they sacrifice your puppet. it'll just come back when you start a new game, and you won't vanish from this run even without it. during the sacrificial scene, the game stops referring to the mc as you, instead opting to call the mc 'the puppet' or 'it' it gives them a stronger connection to you! as you'll still be given options to speak even after it's gone, it feels even more like they're talking directly to you

who knows maybe they actually figure out how to break through the constraints of reality or some shit through a ritual using the run and now one party is isekai'd to the other idk this is sagau anything is possible

if you're openly pleased by this or show hope for them to actually have turned sentient then hey! y'all can chat directly now & it's a dream come true. you stop getting dialogue or action choices and you can just talk (or type if you can't or don't want to speak, they wouldn't call themselves entitled to you voice!)

if you show a pretty neutral reaction, the run will end as a normal playthrough with the self awareness as a twist. they're aware you see them as characters (or something of the sort) or they're at least aware of why they're here (maybe the programming does give some constraints). unless you show interest, it will not come up again.

if you're disturbed, upset, or give any kind of negative reaction, the run will end and you'll get sent back to the beginning of the game. the subject will not be brought up again. (depending on if they know exactly what disturbed you or what their theories on that are (most likely the act of sacrificing your vessel in the bad end oops) those topics will be dropped)

honestly my original thoughts were "make it sagau but the reader is just still behind the screen and so they just make it work by using the mc as your puppet and the rest is p much the same" if that makes sense (specifically i'd been imagining "worship" (like pg-14 level get your head out of the gutter or am i the one with my head in the gutter and i'm lying to you, you'll never know c; )

but then i went "no make it a thing" and i was like "ok me sounds great"

wil's family is very concerned for wilbur's health. he's been cooped up in his apartment not talking to anyone, so naturally they come up with a way to get him out. phil (or tech) gets him a one day ticket to the park, and basically being guilt tripped into it with the 'it was so expensive' and 'do it for us' shit, he forced himself to go.

eventually he settled on doing minigolf, somehow ending up with tommy as his tiny (i know how, but i want to keep some things a secret :])

as for emeraldduo meeting tommy, i'm not sure yet. maybe wilbur brings the tiny home one day and finds that his family is just chilling around his apartment lmao,,,,,, it would definitely give secondhand embarrassment depending on how i write it but i can give it a shot :D

OKAYOKAYOKAY SO NOMS IN THIS AU

i love love love using a stomach as punishment/timeout so YES that is absolutely happening. but, before that happens, i want wil to nom him at least a few times. and there is a reason why. i want tommy's comfort level around humans to be very high after he meets wilbur, and maybe even sbi & some other regulars. (pls give me ideas for more regulars,,, i'm thinking about maybe aimsey for ranboo? :0) he's naturally calmed down and shit so, even if he's a little bit hesitant or even frightened to willingly be eaten, he still goes through with it because he knows that humans are typically not bad people, especially not wil. then he gets nommed by another person, maybe dream or someone else.

all this trust he builds with the humans kinds of overrides his memory of the bad humans, like his boss. he's so used to being relaxed and himself around the customers that he forgets that he still very much needs to tiptoe around one particular human. even beeduo and the other tiny workers in some other locations are a bit worried about his sudden lack of fear, trying to remind him that he needs to take it down a notch before something bad happens.

and guess what? he doesn't take it down a notch, and something bad happens!! >:D

his cocky attitude comes out around strangers, especially kids who mishandle him. or ladies who are overly-curious. and people who hear it both first-hand, second-hand, or from a distance, take a situation without context and makes it a big deal, sending in complaints.

and of course, because his boss is an asshole, he goes chomp :D (not literally, tommy is physically fine for the most part)

tommy gets cocky around his boss (i'm thinking it'll be sam,, so don't mind me if i start using that name instead of boss asjfdnf) and truly lets himself forget just how dangerous these people can be. and when every single boundary of his shatters to the ground, tommy knows he fucked up :D

idk tw vore but there's so much of that here anyway lmfao,,,,

it starts with the fact that sam is everything but gentle. nothing he does is slowed or respectful. he's swept from the counter without warning and engulfed in a tight fist, where he's risen to a face too close for comfort that bares unusually sharp teeth, and is tossed into the moist maw that no longer feels comforting but instead feels incredibly uncomfortable and claustrophobic. then, to add to that, there's only a small moment where he sits on sam's tongue before he's thrown back into his throat and swallowed. the lack of saliva on him makes it difficult to go down and he's stuck in the thin gullet for longer than he wants to be. into the storage that has a significant lack of air in it, where he spends much longer than he needs to in there. and to make matters somehow worse, he's awake the entire time, extremely hyperaware :)

needless to say that his next encounter wilbur is nothing but fear C:<

Batman : Urban Legend #6 Review

[Jason Part- Long Post]

So, i know a much more groundbreaking and exciting news comes from Tim Drake story (congrats!), and while as a bi i feel kinda happy but let me just continue my habits as a Jason Stan. beside i'm not into Tim Drake so i don't feel qualified to review his story

Jason's story in a Urban Legend comes to an end!

Is it a good ending? depended on what kind of Jason that you hold dearly into your heart. If you're like me that prefers dark independent Jason, who's unique to the batfamily because of his moral and ideology, it's a huge bummer. But if you're a batfam fans, it feels very sweet. Even as a non batfam fans, i admit this story warms my heart and left me with some emotion.

Anyway, continue to the story. so Jason trying to save Batman from Cheers, he entered the batcave looking for antidote when he looks into Batman suit. Something that he will wear when he's fighting later on because the suit is effective for Mr.Freeze's ice (althought heavy)

During the fight, Jason got gassed and then we see what's Jason's happiness looks like, yep, for Bruce to kills Joker and they get to be family again, standard.

But our hero prevail, he fought the gas, and then in a dramatic way, the batfamily comes to help thanks to Oracle. He managed to give the antidote to Bruce. Bruce, very shocked by the happiness he saw and the untested antidote, becoming very on the edge and almost try to kill Cheer but it was stopped by Jason, knowing that it's not a real Batman and how Cheer is not the person that Batman should kill. Very batfam material.

Next, we have ending for Tyler. His mother pull trough and they have a new life. It's all good. I think this is the most reasonable ending because as much as we want to see Jason-Tyler together, there's no way it'll work without Jason giving up his vigilantee life or Tyler to be another child soldier. I just hope Tyler will be in this run more.

Next, Bruce and Jason have conversation and this is the biggest bummer for me. JASON SAID HE'S GIVING UP GUNS. If you love Red Hood and hate Batman like me, this feels so wrong. But with the way this story told, i kinda get where it comes from

Jason did kill Tyler's dad because he's emotional for seconds while he's holding gun. And while Tyler's dad is an asshole who drugged his own kids, Tyler's future is almost in jeopardy if his mother doesn't pull trough. So Jason's dialogue is right. Death has a way of rippling out to others. in this case, Tyler.

For ending scenes, we're given vision of Bruce's version of happiness when he was gassed . Turns out, he want exactly the same thing with Jason. To kill Joker and have Jason back.

DC won't ever let batman kill the Joker so to discuss it will be pointless. But that Bruce's panel where he was sadly smiling is so fluffy, even when i'm dissapointed with this ending

In the end, Jason got a gift from B, which turns out to be his old costume and an invitation for family dinner

Now, as a fan of independent!Jason and not a fan of batfam, this feels insulting. like, why do Jason need Batman permission to be The Red Hood? why do Jason needs that bat symbol? it feels very degrading to Jason's character. especially now that Jason decided to giving up on guns. Let Jason be his own man, argh!

But, does it means that Jason and Bruce finally made up? can we put endless conflict of Bruce vs Jason to rest? Can Jason finally have some chance to be happy and healing, despite of losing his unique characteristic?

See, as much as i'm trying to be positive, Jason giving up gun still super bummed me out. now he just the former robin who, what? Idk DC's plan with this, beside of making him less friendly version of Dick Grayson

While I don't agree with how he sees Jason like, AT ALL, i still think it's a good story. Chip manages to reach his goal from the interview of him that i managed to read : to explore the dysfunctional relationship of father & son and making this a family story. Is this the Jason that we adore from UtRH? Hell no, but at this point, we're waaaay past that.

And at least with this we get more logical story on why Jason hangs out with batfamily now and why Bruce and Jason get along in Future State.

-Cat AU :: Either they're were always cats, or Hels turned everyone, including himself, into a cat, and they have to survive and overcome challenges in the Season 7 world. An example of a challenge would be Cub's a Sand Cat(the cats that always look like kittens no matter how old they are and live in deserts), and everyone's not sure if he can actually swim, so they have to find a way for him to get around without involving water. Billy x Reader || For You || pt. 3

~ this is the longest series I've ever done *laughs* I hope this is okay! It may be the last part, depending on the ending. I'll ask at the end, cause I have a small idea but idk if it'll even work out. Regardless, I hope you enjoy! ~

I couldn't believe what had happened. I was standing outside the bathroom as Max helped [name] change, her clothes having a bit of blood on them. The thought made me shiver.

"You can come in now, Billy." Max murmured as she opened the door a bit. I could see the fear in her eyes and she had tear stains on her cheeks. I nodded, pushing myself off the wall where I had been processing everything.

When I entered the bathroom, I closed and locked it behind me for extra protection, before turning. My heart broke at the sight of [name]. Her left eye was all but swollen shut, her hair was a mess, and she was shaking like a leaf. I held back a sob as I rushed to her and wrapped her gently in my arms.

"I'm so sorry, I'm so so sorry. It's all my fault, I should've done better at protecting you." I whispered. She shook her head, her arms limp over my shoulders.

"Don't blame yourself. If anything it's my fault. I shouldn't have asked to come over anyways, I got you in trouble. And now he's probably going to hurt you more." She replied and I instantly tightened my hold on her.

"Don't you dare say that." I scolded softly. I pulled back and kissed her forehead, moving so I was standing in between her legs as she was sitting on the counter by the faucet. I turned to Max.

"Let's get her cleaned up, yeah?" I started. Max nodded, looking a bit better after seeing [name] and I together. "I'm going to go get the alcohol, you stay here." I said and her eyes widened.

"You can't go out there! What if he's awake?" Her voice was frantic and I tried to give her a small smile. I ruffled her hair for what felt like the millionth time, before unlocking the door and stealing a quick, calming breath.

"Then I'll deal with him. Lock this behind me, do not open it until you know for sure it's me. Okay Max?" I gave her a pleading look and she sighed, agreeing. With that I exited the bathroom, not walking away until I knew for sure it was locked again.

I took long strides to the kitchen, ducking under the sink to grab what I needed. I was fine until I stood, coming face to face with my dad, who looked much worse than [name], much to my satisfaction. I looked away from him, my fear of the man gone after what he had done.

"She's not a whore, you know. She an amazing girl, the best one I've ever met. And I love her. Nothing you can do will ever change that." I told him before he could speak. I heard him sigh.

"If that's what you want to believe. But no woman is ever nice." He replied and I rolled my eyes.

"Not to men who are scum like you. [name] makes me better, and I'm putting in effort to change. I'm not scared of you anymore, and I'll fight back from now on. Remember that." I warned and went back to the bathroom.

I knocked a certain way, and Max immediately opened the door. I smiled at her, and she returned it. When I got to [name], I kissed her cheek right below her black eye, opening the rubbing alcohol and grabbing one of the cotton balls Max had layed out.

"This is going to sting, but only for a bit. Then it'll be better." I said, repeating what she always told me when I showed up at her house after dad had worse nights than usual. She nodded and Max slid over to hold her hand.

Without waiting, I dabbed at the cuts on her face. There weren't many, and they were all pretty shallow, but I didn't want to risk any infections. When I finished I brushed my lips lightly over hers and stepped back to get a rag and wet it with cold water.

"Hold this over your eye while I get ice." I instructed, about to leave again when her hand stopped me.

"Don't. Please." Her voice was soft and I couldn't argue with how worried and scared she sounded. Even if she tried to hide it.

"Alright baby girl, I'll stay." I soothed. She smiled, the split in her lip almost bleeding again at the gesture. I brought a hand up to rub my face as I calmed down, knowing both Max and [name] were safe for the moment. A soft touch on my hand pulled me back to the present.

"Your knuckles are split. I'll clean them for you." [name] said, tugging me over and taking the rag off her eye to gently wipe my hand clean of blood. She did it to my other hand as well, before disinfecting them. I felt my heart soften at her small smile while she worked, as if she didn't have a swollen eye or multiple scrapes and bruises. I kissed her hair when she was finished as a thank you, before helping her off the counter and turning to Max.

"It's late, you both need sleep." I said. Max looked worried again. "It'll be okay. We'll all go to my room, and I'll lock the door. It'll be safer with all three of us together anyways." I explained and she relented, taking my hand carefully as [name] took my other. She opened the door and we all cautiously peeked out. Seeing nothing we bolted quietly to my room, shutting and locking the door before relaxing.

"Tomorrow would you both like to come to my house? I don't think you should be here anymore." I looked to [name], who was already laying down with Max. I smiled at her.

"If it's not a bother, we'd love to come over." I answered. She giggled a bit and I got into bed beside Max, causing her to be in the middle, my arms around both girls. "I'll stay up a bit, make sure we're in the clear. You just get some sleep."

"Alright, g'night Billy, love ya." Max said, snuggling into [name].

"Love you too, Mad Max." I chuckled and [name] spoke up next.

"Thank you for saving and protecting me, I love you Billy Hargrove."

"I'll always keep you safe. I love you too, [name] [l/name]."

Let's talk about something.

First off, I'm not putting this messed up, peely, gross looking tattoo up for anyone to judge (I'm not happy with it either). I'm putting this out there to help others learn from my mistakes & hopefully prevent them from going thru what I've been dealing with.

There's a tattoo expo coming to town with featured artists from out of town. I find one thru IG whose work looks clean & I like her style so I DM her about setting an appt. Shes got time this weekend yay! no waiting for the expo. -Do you see the mistakes I made already? It's so obvious to me now😓

Saturday's here, I head to the shop (for the first time) for the appointment & the moment I walk in it's like Uh, wtf? Half the shop is taped off & in the middle of a remodel (no dust or active working, just shit all moved around). I brush it off, theyre getting things ready for an expo right? They need people tattooing there, not playing pool so ya, no wonder it's a bit messy.

Next she shows me the stencil and its fuckin huge. Like I specifically said between 6-8 inches max bc it's going on my forearm & i'm not Stretch Armstrong. Shes like Oh I kept it between 8 & 10. Well ya didn't fuckin listen bc what woman has arms that long? So it's resized & idk what we were casually talking about but she def rolled her eyes at me. Look man, I'm a pretty easy going person and depending on the situation I may take a slight without saying shit. Also like low self confidence helps with that right? So anyway, at the point I should have been like Alright dude, we're not really clickin & I'm not feelin this anymore & walked TF out. I didnt. Like an idiot. I'm not gonna lie, part of it was losing put on the deposit the other part was just me telling myself it would be fine despite in my heart of hearts I knew it wasn't.

So we start. Yo, she's a Fuckin. Bitch. I wanted a theme right, this chick is supposed to be a Texas pinup, I wanted certain colors in her clothes. I asked "What colors are we thinking for her?" She actually scoffed and says "These ones" while motioning at her cups. Wow. Ok, well, fuck I don't want to ask her anything anymore so I shutup & go with it.

This shit HURTS. I'm not a pussy when it comes to pain. I have several tattoos, including fingers, toes and a whale that was particularly painful because it goes directly over my very bony shin. I've been cut, I've had a baby without drugs. Mags remind me of getting a razor cut and I find pleasure in the feeling. I can tolerate some pain and this shit sucked. Yo, at the end she switched down to a single needle and that was KILLER. I felt like I was being carved into (which, if you'd ever seen my back you'd know, I know the feeling).

Alright so finally we're finished & I roll into the next day. I'm a bit worried about the appearance and not just bc she looks like she broke her leg. It looks wet. I continue my aftercare as normal: antibac soap & aquaphor. Day 2 I'm researching infections bc it's super painful, red but mostly it's wet. I'm afraid of infection also bc this chick had the trash can right next to the station. I mean Right. Fuckin. Next to it. To the point that the trashcan lid fell onto the pad where my arm is. I want to ask her to move it but she's in such a bad mood I think it'll just make things worse & she'll be even rougher. By day 3 I've tried antibac goo & it seems to make my skin bubble where its been applied so I quickly quit using that. My arm hurts so badly at this point I cant put it down without getting shooting pains up my arm. I let it dry out so things are crusty but at least I don't find them medically disturbing. Regardless, I spend a lot of this day crying. Day 4 I'm still researching infection and come across overworked tattoos, scars & "hamburgering" My heart pretty much drops bc this is it, this is what's going on. What's even more fucked up is that I find this on forums for people learning to tattoo. Like apprentice's first few tattoos having this problem. Rookie shit, ya hear?😑

The pictures are from day 5. You can see splitting along the black lines, there's holes in the sun & near her belt. Oh and that's a thing. The hole is the sun is bc somehow a drop of green got in there so she went over it and over it and over it again with more red. Can you imagine my frustration at that point?

So look, I got this done Saturday, here it is Friday. My skin is very shiny and puckery where the peeling has come off. The scabs are thick af, I've only been moisturizing the places safe to so as of today almost everything but the cactus. Did I mention my arm still really hurts? I can't straighten it, there's pains that shoot out from the center, and why why why is my bicep sore?! I'm really worried about how the cactus is going to turn out. My skin looks bumpy between the cracks of scab. I think she used a crappy cheap green. I'm really left wondering about her experience as a tattoo artist. I'm just saying: My first tattoo was done by a scratcher in a dirty apartment bedroom. He did such a shitty job that I took the machine from him & finished it myself. Might I mention I was 16 and completely coked out of my mind? Also, I didn't hamburger myself and there was no scarring over that disaster of a tattoo (which thankfully no longer exists thanks to the aforementioned painful whale)

This whole thing has fuckin sucked. I don't want anybody else dealing with this. Let me outline some things I should have done differently so if you find yourself in the same situation you can make better decisions than I did.

1. If you're looking on IG for an artist make sure they also post healed pics not just fresh ones.

2. If you're not vibing with your artist it's ok so call it off. Look, a 60$ deposit aint shit to lose in the grand scheme of things, can you get a cover up for 60$? How about bad work or a bad experience lasered off? You can't get those deals, oh who knew? Sometimes losing money is saving it.

3. Don't get shit from travelling artists. Maybe they woke up a 3am & drove 8 hours & now they don't give a shit about anything but going home.

4. If the shop doesn't look great, walk out. Again, whats 60$ compared to your health and happiness?

This is a long post & it's not something I usually post about (lol who am I kidding? Personal tragedies are kinda my thing). It's embarrassing. I'm embarrassed how she came out, I'm embarrassed I didn't speak up, I'm embarrassed I didn't just go to the person I knew could give me a good tattoo. It wasn't even about money, I didn't get a deal on this pinup mess. All I can do is move on. Thank goodness this wasn't my first piece or I may have been totally turned off from getting anymore ink. Now all I can do is continue my aftercare, hope for the best and when the time comes I'll go visit Vinny at American Tradition and get something else on the backside of my arm to distract from this mess.

Busy day, medically.

Started off going to see an Nurse practitioner, thankfully I got to get an x-ray today so it wasn't all for nothing.

Unfortunately turns out I apparently have bone spurs somewhere on my spine idr where. There's also disc bulge or slippage but idk if they can assess how much without an MRI.

Speaking of MRI, which was the main reason I went to visit the NP today, I still can't get one. The protocol I have to take is

first of course seeing the np

then i had to get the xray

so those are done but now i have to take on physical therapy on top of going to chiro. The chiro is like be careful to not let them push you, listen to your body. So I'm honestly going to be baby level sensitive so that it's clear where my boundaries are.

I don't understand how it makes sense to start treating me before getting an MRI, especially since I've not improved from the chiro in over a month.

My insurance is really being pushed to the limit at this point so i might end up having to drop chiro if they start refusing to pay. They do not care that i cannot walk or work. They gave me 12 covered and now it all depends on the Dr at the chiro to plead my case for every future appointment. Which reminds me i need to check my work email.

I really hope when I get back on my feet that i do not take it for granted. I want to walk around so bad. Just to go anywhere. Every now and then I'm under circumstances where I don't feel pain and I almost remember what it's like to be able to hop up and take off, then i move slightly and i remember how it takes now 5x as long just to stand up carefully.

Anyway bone spurs. Kinda scares me so far bc I know very little. I only googled a bit then stopped before I started myself down a rabbit hole. I think it'll be ok if i get the right treatment. I just have many fears bc idk what caused this and i hate mysteries like that.

Do i have arthritis at the age of fuckin 33? What does this mean for my future survival? I don't want to lose my level of activity, i cannot do an immobile job i will lose my mind.

I'm trying to stay grateful but this shit is stressing me the fuck out. I need to MOVE in < three fucking months. I'm still out on disability which will last a good long while but it's an indicator of how bad my condition is.

AND NOW MY NEIGHBOR IS FUCKIN SINGING HER GODDAMN OPERA. She always picks the moment in the day when my mental health is at it's absolute lowest.

Side note: i love how incompetent people actually are at this clinic. Notes from my chiro sat there for days and nobody did anything with them never called me. Then when i saw the np today she was like "oh i can only see page one of ten?" Then put the task on me - the disabled client unable to walk properly - to go to the medical records place and ask them to put the rest in. But get this, she called me about an hour later and said she figured out how to see the rest of the pages 🙄 so I'm glad I didn't hassle myself at the time.

(disclaimer: i live alone so some of these tips may be hard to hide from parents/roommates. i don't have to worry as much about eating meals w other people)

breakfast is the most important meal of the day so i pretty much just eat breakfast. as long as it's below 300 (or less if ur intake is lower) kcals u can pretty much eat anything. I used to eat grilled cheese every day for breakfast and still lost weight. the only reason i don't anymore is bc i ran out of cheese lol. i also have a huge bottle of water, a mug of green tea, And a mug of black coffee with breakfast every day. while everything is brewing, do lunges or squats, or do some yoga stretches.

 once a week eat a higher amount, if you normally eat 400, try to go above 600 but below 1,000, then go back to normal the next day. on a higher calorie day, eat breakfast and lunch and maybe a snack of apple slices or something. also, eat slow. it takes me almost an hour or more every day to eat 1 or 2 pieces of toast. i don't like to feel full after eating, it can cause me to binge. but i know ive eaten enough to last the day.

people will say 'don't distract yourself while eating,' but for me, i use tv shows and movies to time myself. ill take a bite every other time a scene changes and i make sure not to finish before at least 1 episode of something ends. and if you have a handheld game (mobile apps, 3ds, gameboy etc.) play that too. use levels/deaths/cutscenes/whatever to pace yourself. distract yourself away from wanting to eat another bite, but be sure to remember when the last bite was. look at the screen and remember what a character was saying, the scenery, color scheme and remember how long ago it was. this works better with shows & movies you already know pretty well. 

if you work in a labor intensive job or you walk/bike to work, you have to have a higher calorie intake, sorry. but it can be around 500 daily (depending on just how labor intensive) and be sure to eat something with some carbs for extra energy. if you're in school, even if you walk there and have a huge campus, you can still stay around 3-400 kcals around day. drink water and all that.

i don't eat after 7 pm no matter what. I tend to get cravings around 8. if it's something i don't have around the house, i Google pictures of it and imagine how the food feels in my mouth and the taste. The only thing abt this tho is that i have that mental condition where i can taste food by looking at it? i forgot the name for it. but i get the flavor im looking for without the guilt of actually eating. 

if it's something i have or can easily make, i distract myself for an hour or two then take sleeping pills and go to bed. if ive had a craving for something high calorie for a week straight, (usually a baked good, bc i love baking and sweets) ill make a 1/8th size recipe of it, divide it into as small portions as i can, write down the calorie count for each portion, and eat one a day (if i still want it) until it's gone. right now i have 2 mini muffin sized nutella pumpkin brownies in my fridge for sweets cravings, eaten as a snack or even a meal on lower calorie days. plus, if you don't get a lot of sugar in your daily intake, your body tends to crave it more. so if you have 2 or 3 bites of something sweet every once in a while, it'll help w cravings and won't mess up your progress. just be careful not to make enough that you could binge on it (if you're binge eating disordered).

if you're fasting and you have nothing important to do for the day, go ahead and keep it up, even if you feel faint. just don't exercise and try to stay stationary. maybe eat a slice of lemon. but, if you're in public/at work/school and you feel faint, drink something with some sugar or caffeine to get your energy up. i keep a baby can of diet coke on me for times like this. it's a 7 oz can that's just enough to keep hunger away and give me a little bit of energy. if that's not enough, eat some fruit like a clementine or apple slices. passing out is not only dangerous, it's embarrassing and will let people onto the fact that you're not eating and they'll try to help. 

i try not to fast for more than a day bc i end up bingeing at the end of it. so idk amy tips on how to not do that.

drink lots of water and green tea (no sugar) to feel full and boost metabolism. chew minty gum to curb appetite, black coffee works for this too. keep 1 pack of fruity gum around for candy cravings. eventually, your body will get used to not having sweets often and stop craving them as much, but this helps for now. 

if you're like me and don't like milk, especially milk in coffee, but you love pumpkin spice coffees, add pumpkin pie spice into your coffee grounds while you're making it. this helps incorporate the flavor into it without having to deal with huge chunks of cinnamon floating in your drink bc it won't absorb liquid. 

basically, plain pumpkin pie spice has 0 calories and you can add it to anything you want to taste more pumpkin-y. the flavors you taste mostly in anything pumpkin is the a pics anyway. but for extra pumpkin flavor, pumpkin puree is 50 kcals for half a cup, which is 25 for 1/4, and 12.5 for 1/8h (2 tbsp), so abt 6 for 1 tablespoon of pumpkin puree. 

i think that covers the basics of what Ive acclimated myself to.
