1) Click on the three dots at the top right corner of your browser and select Settings

2) Select Privacy and Security on left-hand sidebar, then click Third-party cookies

3) Under the "Advanced" section click See all data and site permissions

4) You should see a list of sites. Find tumblr and click the trash can icon to clear your cookies.

Addendum: Note the warning message. Make sure you know your tumblr email and password before you clear cookies, as it WILL log you out of your account.

Been thinking about a postgame scenario that goes in a direction I don't think canon would ever take in a million years, but like... I think it could be really compelling...

And that's the idea of Chrom becoming Plegia's king after Grima's defeat. And specifically giving up his claim to Ylisse's throne to do it (leaving it to Lucina when she's old enough).

Because here's the thing... The game ends with Grima's defeat/Robin's return in the sacrifice ending. It doesn't address what happens to Plegia at all, and while I personally maintain that Aversa is the most qualified candidate to rule, her canon ending provides that she goes back to the village she was born in. So, fine. Let's give her that.

But SOMEONE has to do SOMETHING because realistically, Plegia is in dire straits. Validar, the king and the leader of the Grimleal, is dead. He gave, like, ALL of Plegia's resources to the Ylissean League (well, okay, we don't know how much, if any, he left in reserve, but... He really needed Walhart gone and it's not like he had any reason to think that anyone would need resources once Grima was running around, so... chances are good there's little to nothing left in the wake of the averted apocalypse). And the population has been utterly devastated, because not only did people (exactly how many is unclear, but presumably it took more than just a couple) have to sacrifice themselves to renew the fell dragon's power, but Grima was also spawning Grimleal onto their back at the final battle. Their losses are so immense...

So first of all, Chrom is definitely responsible for taking all their resources and setting half of them on fire (Now to be fair, Flavia and Basilio are also responsible, but... Idk, I kinda feel like they'd bicker with each other over who has to do the crappy parts of the job and then agree that they should just ask Chrom if he can do it. Like "Haha, if you didn't want to deal with thieves ambushing the Longfort to steal construction supplies, you shouldn't have gone and beaten me at the last tournament!" "Oh, shut up. Let's see if Chrom can send his thief friend over to talk these guys down. Or kill them, whichever." I mean, Chrom is always going to be their guy who knows a guy.) There's just no way Chrom would abandon the surviving Plegians who need help anyway, but especially not when he knows the war with Valm would've ended before it could begin without them.

Of course, there's the historical hostility between Ylisse and Plegia to consider, but... If anyone's protesting, it's probably the Ylisseans. Because the survivng Plegians, uh... probably were never Grima's most devoted followers in the first place (if you really wanted to give Grima your life, you'd rush to the front of the line at the Dragon's Table, right?) and even if they used to consider themselves true Grimleal, the religion's leadership is destroyed, and—for the purpose of this scenario, I'm considering it post-sacrifice ending—the fell dragon is gone and not coming back. These people narrowly avoided becoming Grima's breakfast or Grima's meat shields. They all almost certainly know someone who wasn't as lucky. And the one who saved them... Well, it was Chrom, wasn't it? Because he believed in humanity enough to challenge the concept of fate, a fate that the people of Plegia were surely taught was inescapable. Despite their history with Ylisse, it's hardly unreasonable for them to see Chrom as a savior to them specifically. The second coming of the Hero-King who ought for the lives of all humans, really.

And yeah, I'm going here... Chrom is Marth's descendant. Marth was Altean. Former Altea is is modern Plegia, so technically, the people can argue that he's actually theirs.

Doesn't it sort of make sense, even? Plegia is ruined, the god to whom the theocracy was devoted killed. "What we need is to restore the glory of ancient Altea!" And who better to help them than Chrom, Marth's successor in blood and in spirit?

But Chrom would frown and say no. Of course he's going to help them restore their country to prosperity—or at least to independent, peaceful functioning. But king? Sheesh, that's going too far. Come on guys, you don't really want that. Besides, he's already ruling Ylisse...

Except, he's not ruling it as Exalt. At least, not at first he's not. He forswore the title when he started his rule and in canon he is only official welcomed as Exalt after Grima's defeat. But what if he just... continued to not accept it. It's not like he ever wanted to be Exalt. He only has the right to rule because Emmeryn died—because he failed to protect her. It has nothing to do with any of his successes.

But if the Plegians made him their king, then it would be because of his own accomplishments.

And in a way I also can't help but find it heartwarming, because it was the Plegian people who got him to truly understand Emmeryn's ideals. He wanted peace, he wanted to follow her path, but it wasn't until the Plegians took her sacrifice for the peace offer it was and refused to continue fighting Ylisse that Chrom was finally able to comprehend what it meant that Emmeryn believed that all people wanted the same thing, that peace is something for everyone and not just purehearted saints like her who would never hurt a fly. So wouldn't it be sweet to expand on that existing connection? For the people who once bore a grudge against him and his nation to say, actually, our home is your home and you belong with us... For Chrom to reach back and decide that these are his people and that he will protect them...

Especially because that's what he's always done for Robin. Your father doesn't get to determine your path for you, your past doesn't dictate your future, you always have a place beside me because we are two halves of a greater whole. This AU is definitely a chrobin AU, because when Robin gets back I want them to rule at his side (after all, I do have feelings about Grima's loyalty to a people who have been praying to them to end their suffering for a thousand years).

Now, I do think that Chrom would never leave Ylisse while little Lucina was still growing up, but... Honestly it would probably take quite some time to establish a castle for Plegia's new ruler anyway (especially if they go super hard on the Altean revival theme and want it to be IN former Altean territory, which has become the "border wastes" and undoubtedly needs some help... But EVERYWHERE in Plegia needs help, so what better time to give the land some attention?) So when Lucina is an adult she can take over as Ylisse's true Exalt, and Chrom can focus his efforts on the other side of the border. I think he'd still be awkward about the whole thing, approaching it like "Well, I guess I'm here if you all still want me..." but Robin's there to give him confidence and the people there are SO excited for their hero to come and live with them and together they all usher in a new era of peace and prosperity as Ylisse and Plegia themselves become like two halves of a greater whole.

Coral. Coral help. I NEED to know your thoughts on B!F!Robin. I am dying. IS did her so dirty by giving her the LITERAL EXACT SAME OUTFIT as M!Robin and GAVE THE LEVIN SWORD TO FELIX I am screaming. They can't let F!Robin have ONE thing to herself so thank Naga for the child banner I guess. But on the other hand...she looks so pretty! She rocks that outfit harder than M!Robin! Her special colors are so niiice! But I'm mad because something like this has literally never happened to a brave unit arrgghhh! I am conflicteddd help me make sense of my thoughts :(

(Also I stg her in-game dialogue better be JUST as sappy and romantic and Chrom-related as M!Robin's..........)

Omg Idk why tumblr didn't give me the notification for this--apologies for the late response! I do want to preface this by saying that everyone is wholly entitled to their own feelings about this unit and I don't want or intend to be dismissive of any of that! Brave units are really special and you only get one shot at them for a character, so it's natural for people to be super invested in how they're executed and have strong feelings if it's not what they were hoping to see. With that out of the way, I'm actually pretty uncomplicatedly happy with how her brave unit turned out! I am very very much a proponent of the "both Robins are the same character with the same personality" view point; because of that, I tend to like seeing them receive the same treatment and IS giving them both the same outfit was really nice in that regard. Particularly given that the original designs for Robin have the male and female avatar wearing the exact same outfit, I think keeping it the same for the brave felt really natural to me! I didn't personally feel like she was cheated or short changed, and I really like the subtle adjustments that were made to it with the bow and sleeves and cut of the shirt to tailor it slightly better to her while still keeping the concept consistent. I also just think the way Wada Sachiko does shading / coloring and the way Robin's face / hair are drawn are gorgeous. She really does look so, so pretty <3 I will say I would still love to get Grand Master F!Robin eventually though, so I'll cross my fingers they put her out as an attuned unit sometime down the line. Please IS, people (me) would pay good money for her in those golden thigh-high boots 🙏

If I have one disappointment with this unit, it's that Chrom doesn't feature in her forging bonds T-T But that being said, she does name drop him absolutely constantly and her unit title is "Exalt's Right Hand" which is delightfully shippy as well. Even their little teatime dialogue thing has Robin talking about joining hand in hand with him. ALSO her bonus battle entry voice line she got is a line from the Chrobin B support ("Now, what was so damned important?"), which I think is pretty wonderful...especially given that Brave Chrom's bonus battle entry quote is a line he says to Robin as well ("You are yourself").

As for the levin sword.....not sure what they were thinking with that one LOL. I suppose maybe in that regard they DID want to differentiate her from m!Robin by giving her a different weapon type?? And Felix is one of the swordiest sword guys ever, so I definitely understand wanting to keep him as the sword user...but what possessed them to give him the levin sword specifically I have no idea. I think I am just choosing to view it as funny more than anything kdfksdg

Lilia Vanrouge and Kumiko Background

Literally so badly want to write meeting Lilia for the first time, I’ve got everything planned out in my head on how we’ll meet him and what he’ll be and the whole shebang, just got to write it out, but I’m so tired that I just wanna sit in my little comfy and cozy blanket hoodie under my warm sheets and play fire emblem awakening and go gaga over marrying chrom for the 100th time. 

But until then I do wanna talk a little about Lilia because I’m so hype about it. I’m not afraid to spoil anything honestly, I’m not good at keeping secrets, but if you want it to be a surprise till the main part Imma put it under a read more.

OKAY SO LIKE- oh boy okay so like I have all these thoughts, and to begin to explain I have to like go in depth on what exactly Kumiko is. Yes, she is a kitsune, but that’s more of a name that we the reader call her cause I mean, she looks like one, right? And for all intents and purposes Kumiko is a fox. As in. She used to be an animal, but as stated in chapter one, animals aren’t sentient. 

Animals in this world are more bestial. They don’t speak with words and express themselves through language, but rather through feeling and emotion and scents and body language, it all comes together to form the animal “language”.

 Kumiko used to be like them too, but there is one key difference that made her stand out from the rest. She ate humans. And sure, other animals can eat humans too, but none ate so many as Kumiko did. After she got the first taste she decided “huh. this tastes good. I should eat more of this”. And she kept eating and eating. The more Kumiko ate the longer her lifespan grew. At first, that’s all it was. And obviously the longer she lived the more humans she ate.

That continued on and on until she finally gained the one thing an animal needed to become fully awakened and ascend into a greater sentiency. She gained a sense of self. 

After that, Kumiko wasn’t just some fox that really liked eating humans, she was a spirit of nature in the form of a fox. Aaaaaand yada yada this and that-- Kumiko is fae. With all of the different cultures of this world sort of in one big continent, it’s not really known what specific area Kumiko even came from, Kumiko isn’t even her name honestly (as a fae, names have power and such, but the story of how Kumiko started going by that name and what her true name is actually is another story.) (Grim isn’t fae, btw, that I know of. I still have to work out the logistics of what an amalgamation is in the first place. Demon maybe? Idk.) And thus brings us to Briar Valley, where the ruling power is Malanea Draconia, an ancient dragon older than even you and Kumiko.  Now, as with most cases, dragons aren’t fae. They’re just dragons. However- Malanea’s husband is fae. Name to be decided, but he’s an old Spirit of Darkness that rules over the majority of the fae. I’m not going to do the typical seelie and unseelie courts because I don’t quite think that these guys are going to fit into either stereotype of the two as they’re more in the middle. Not malicious in spirit like the unseelie, but not jovial and peaceful and bright as the seelie. They don’t quite fit in either, so we’re just gonna make them all one group.

Malanea is the one wearing the pants and killing the bugs in this relationship by the way, her husband was rather happy to allow her all the power while he gets to be a trophy househusband.

And they have a daughter too by the way. You might be familiar with her actually. Maleficent. She’s about 200 years old right now, a lot younger than you, but she does know you- Kumiko that is. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand she kind of hates Kumiko’s guts. Kumiko is much like a fox and rather liked playing evil little pranks on Maleficent and ruffling her metaphorical feathers. Despite her immense anger towards Kumiko though, Maleficent does respect her (which just stands to piss her off more). 

With that being said. Maleficent is a rather curious child and after hearing her much respected elder’s story, Mallie was curious if she could create another spirit like Kumiko. So she got a pet bat... named Lilia Vanrouge 

I honestly thought I was a genius here after getting this far in brain dream world, but writing it all out is so much less exciting.

Anyways. Mallie feeds her cute little vampire bat Lilia every day with- you guessed it- her blood!--- Wait. you thought she was feeding her little bat boy human blood? Not in this life sweetie. He’s the pet bat of a princess and he eats only the best food- which is her.

And honestly, with how powerful and strong Mallie is, Kumiko might be getting a little jealous with how fast Lilia awakens...

...Anyways I’m done talking, but now that I literally gushed all that out and set aside fire emblem (i love you chrom bby) I”m actually really hype to write this out sooooooooo i’mma do that till i get sleepy

Ok so I just need to rant for a bit.

So for some time I saw people bringing back a discourse surrouding whether or no Priam is really Ike's descendant and while I don't really have a stake in this... can I say, how dumb it is ?

I see so many people doing mental gymnastic to find any plausible explanation for Priam exisiting that are all crazier then one another just because people see him as the proof Ike ended up with a woman and honestly....

I really don't get that at all ?

So first off, people genuinely try to argue that Awakening create a character that is a perfect copy of Ike character design and writing wise only for him to be a scam, like Shannam

Let's see what Awakening says about Priam

Ok so Priam bears several elements that are iconic to Ike's design : his blue hair, his red cape, his bandana, his sword

Now in typical Fire Emblem fashion, Priam seems to be older then his own ancestor (doesn't help Ike is only 20 in this art)

Priam's class is Hero, promotion of the mercenaries class in Awakening which is again a wink to Ike

He isn't as muscled (or maybe it's his armor that makes it seems so) idk

In jpn, his name is Paris which was originally going to be how Ike was going to be nammed so you clearly get Priam is an hommage character

Personality wise, MS paint made a recent video about him but he embodies pretty much everything Ike represent

He likes fighting and he likes meat. But he is also kind of an idealistic and while the guy cannot stop talking (a wink to Ike's rather taciturn nature I guess) in normal times he is kinda solitary which we ca see in his support with F!Robin. in the paralogue Chrom remarks :

Priam is capable of uniting different people under the same banner... oh. Remind me of someone I KNOW.

Yeah, basically Priam is pretty much an Ike clone except his more talkative, not as bright and... has a dubious hygene

And while I wouldn't reduce his character as being an Ike clone since he still got his own personality and story and relevance (sadly outside of Awakening's story) you can kinda get why I don't think it make sense at all that he wouldn't be related to Ike in some way

Plus character-wise : Priam wouuldn't lie about such a thing which bring me to the second point.

Priam's relationship to Ike. I see people argue that Priam himself never makes the claim, well, Heroes fixed that since he introduce himself as the descendant of the Radiant Hero. Plus, see Awakening's text

People often focus on this line

Well... Priam is quite literaly just refering to the hypothesis Chrom and Robin were making about him... not his relationship to Ike

If he did, he would answer "this assume he would even fight for you" or any of this.

and if you read his heroes desc

Yeah, like they were defo gonna make him his descendant and it being genuine

But also... I must say this. In all of Awakenign. His lineage to Ike is mentiooned only ONCE; Yeah. Once and it's the begining of the Paralogue... wow..

So let me recapitulate : you really believe IS would create a hommage character that they would present as a popular lord's descendant and even include this in Heroes but mention it as the most minor plot point only to leave it ambigious on whether or not Priam his is scam ?? you can't be for real

Other people point at his lack of Aether skill... yeah, you do know that Ike learned Aether right ? It's not an heridatary techinique, it's one you learn. Priam has Luna and Sol to make up for it so it's likely due to balance limitation imo. After all Lucina and Chrom have Aether so unless you wanna join me on my insane theory that all the blue haired lord are one big family, I don't think it counts

Also in Radiant Dawn Ike literaly needs to wait till he promotes to Vanguard to be able to use Ether again, even though he learned this skill in PoR after promoting to Lord

Then there is Ragnel being able to break... well, he and Ike's FB bond in FEh literaly explains why. Seeing how the team who work on Awakening is likely different then one who worked on Tellius, it would'nt surprise me if they made this recton to justify Ragnell being able to break to not make the balance of Awakening too easy

After all, in Awakening, all legendary weapons can break safe the Falchion

Now there are people who argue he is related to Ike the same way Marth is related to Anri and I am gonna be honest, I don't care whether or not Mist or Ike is his direct ancestor cause that would make him Ike's descendant anyway, but I ain't entirely convinced cause like : Mist doesn't travel to another world in either of her endings. Ike does however which is how Priam existing is being explained and Chrom's dialogue with the Einjenhar and comment on the Paralogue indicates Tellius is part of Awakenin's foklore. And if we count the Heroes desc, yeah... they were defo thinking of Ike as his ancestor and not Mist

So from what I gather the main reason why people even do this whole gymnastic is because they view Priam has a proof of Ike's sexuality and contradicts the ending he has with Ranful and Soren.

Ok so : who, the heck, look at a character that is said to be descendand from someone and goes "oh that means he opened the beast cage with a woman !"

WHO ??? Priam is his DESCENDANT not his kid, for all I know with the large gap between Tellius and Awakeing, this is hardly a proof of sexuality

Second. Even if Ike did had a relationship with a woman so what ?? His sexuality hardly matters in Tellius proper. Y'all act as if that would mean the world was in flame. I don't think his relationship with this woman that doesn't exist in official sources but only in fan speculation has much weight on the canon.

While Priam is there and they can't retcon (?) his existence, the reason he came to exist doesn't, the "woman Ike might have had an affair with to have a child etc till we get to Priam" is not a canon scenario, there is hardly any reason to panick over it even if it was any evidence of it at all (doubtful)

Thrid : how the heck is Priam proving or disproving Ike's sexuality when there is a good chance the writers didn't even though of that when writing either of those characters ???

Also regarding the Ike ending. Ike doesn't have paired endings. Look

However, Soren and Ranulf DO have 2 endings, one solo and one paired ending with him.

So what happens is so simple. That's the same thing they did to indlude Severa, Inigo and Owain in Fates.

They took the solo ending into account to make Priam and unlike Awakening who like the GBA games had endings changed when there are paired one, in RD, the characters still have their own ending while only ONE character's ending is changed?

Example : Micaiah has one solo ending and it's her ONLY ending. Sothe has 2, one solo ending, and one paired ending with her. But whether she is or not paired with Sothe, Mica's ending doesn't change.

So saying Priam invalidate those endings is wrong because those are Soren and Ranulf's optional endings, not Ikes !

And finally : are you really fighting over this in a franchise with freakinf multiverse ??? You cannot be for real

Also, I saw people taking away from the FB he has with Ike that Priam isn't a real descendant but a spiritual one because of Ragnell and... that's not what the conversation was about.AT.ALL.

That was just those two dorks bonding over the sword they love, sorry but Ike's true love are his sword and meat.

And like, of course Priam wouldn' t mention the descendant thing. Ike is someone who doesn't care about titles and lineage. Priam too. This convo is literaly Priam being Priam. As a matter of fact I am only half surprise the dialogue didn't end up with a dialogue where Priam goes "Oh crap, I forgot to tell him we are family"

And it's very ironic that out of all character you focus on the one character that doesn't care about lineage or sexuality, that wouldn't change Ike at all. He is a ficitonal character whose sexuality hardly matter for the text of Tellius. I get you have your own ships with him but you shouldn't read the canon as invalidating them

"But IS ship tease him with Soren"... are you new ? Is does the same with Chrom and Robin even though Chrom is married and with a child. IS giving Ike a descendant while ship teasing a lord with his tactician is nothing contradictory, it just how they are.

Plus I'd argue that Ike doesn't need to have a specific sexuality to be or not be interested in romance, it's just a minor part of his overall character... maybe even a non existent one.

So does Priam indicate something of Ike's sexuality ? NO.

overall the design is like ... 6.5 at best for me, personally. i just dont find 'red' chrom color no matter what. there was a reason why kozaki did not go for a red cape design for him initially and went with white so he does not be 'ike copy'. i get that they want 'fell' colors but there is some kind of irony in keeping the white but 'taint' it for more impact. like look at the cipher card RKC

the simple visual mistake you gonna make if you saw him from the back that he is chrom but once he turns viola thats not chrom my fried. that illusion that he is still him is what makes me like the lighter tone for RKC. it dos not try to SELL IT too hard that he is 'dead and dangerous' u know? simple things like the glowing dangerous and perhaps lifeless eyes, pale skin, corrupted falchion?? things that are 'clothes'. Omg, yes i agree with everthing you said! I really don't necessary think that most people hate on f!robin just because they're misogynistic, they're most likely just other queer people that are feeling "vindacted" that IS finally acknowledging m!chrobin (and like, I get it! IS has a horrible track when it comes to mlm rep, the fact that m!chrobin isn't a thing in canon and the way they handled the queer male options in 3H is super annoying so I do sympathise with them a lot!) I definitely agree - I see how we got here, and I have sympathy, but a lot of it dries up the longer I'm in fandom and I get worn down by people swerving all over the place to take it out on F!Robin or people who did enjoy what we got in canon, I think. And there's also been a weird narrative about her being favored, which I think is extremely untrue if you look at the history of their inclusion in Smash and the trailer, then the amiibo, then the Fates cameo, then Warriors, etc etc. He always gets the lion's share in crossover content and it's really fucking depressing to people who like her!

FEH was the only spot she really had anything "over" him (and even then it was uneven, with him being available at launch with a summoning movie while she was relegated to grail unit added later) and now after an admittedly big wait his legendary here, with a bunch of shippy hints and getting to be himself in his legendary, plus he got the duo I'd give my eyeteeth to have her in, etc. I really think he was always doing fine as far as official rep, and Engage DLC just came along to confirm the same old pattern of "when only one is picked for representing the character in a crossover, it's him". Officially he has historically done well outside of giving nods to shippinness with Chrom, so I think it is both great and understandable that people are so excited about it now. Of course it feels vindicating! But I don't see the reason to sneer at other fans for what they enjoy or their hopes or personal disappointment about a female avatar not being allowed to officially rep the character, lol.

I really can't understand why people see those fans celebrating and decide they have to ruin it. As if those fans aren't already accutely aware of the fact that it isn't canon in the original game. As if that isn't the reason they're so happy in the first place? It is truly such an unwarranted dick move.

I'm really sorry to hear about that recent experience, anon! I love bi Chrom with all my heart - unfortunately I don't talk about it so much because I am an OTPer who's ended up unfathomably annoyed about the male player character, so I only really end up engaging with ship content for him with a female character most of the time, and so functionally the fact that I headcanon him bi ends up not coming up super often. But I love that idea and am extremely attached to it. There are dozens of us! Dozens!! Especially as a queer woman. It's important to me that they are both bi in my head.

In your last ask, you said that Morgan would have grown up with Lucina but, isn't it already acknowledged that Morgan comes from a different timeline than the 12 others units ? After all, they are always depicted as the youngest kids since they are the same age as Nah who is the youngest of the 12, and since the youngest they can be according to the game's few info in japanese about Lucina being 16 when she time traveled to the Awakening timeline, then logically Morgan and Nah should be around 13-14 years old. This means that at best Morgan was 3 when Robin disappeared, but at this moment she would have only a few memories of him, and not SO MANY to the point Robin is the only one that she can remember and since she has good memories of Robin, even in Future Past, this means she saw his transformation, which is not possible at all in the original timeline. At first I though the 3rd timeline was only an excuse for Morgan to still exist even if you marry a 2nd gen or a character that died in the original timeline, but if Morgan really is from Future Past, than this means that future past is an alternate to the canon timeline, and not the fell timeline. I mean, for Morgan to have 2 diaires, Robin has to interact with them however you cannot intereact with Morgan nor any of the future kids if you don't have unlocked them and this is obvious this DLC was designed to be once Lucina time traveled, so this means that the Future Past timeline is the alterated timeline since it has Lucina and the others units time traveling and then time traveling again to this alternate future. Sorry if it's a bit confusing but my point is that Lucina could not have known Morgan at all. Even in her supports with male Morgan, she doesn't act as if she knew him for a long time but only some times, and you would think that the supports would focus on amnesia, but none of them did due to ehhhh * check the list * as yes not invalidating any ships made in the playthrough. Anyway, if they could clear things up about Morgan before pushing any ship just so that the story could still makes sense...;

It's totally possible Morgan isn't even Robin's child and just adopted because she (or he) has no lore and also forgot their past. anyways … let me tell you that the conquest route of fates was something! (i got sad) and then third dlc route revelation, writing was confusing but eh its dlc im not mad. i’m trying to find a way to get birthright soon so i can finally play that path.

You know what, I’ll say it. I DO like Camilla because she has big tits and calls people naughty and I want her step on me. I like other aspects of her too, like the way she cares about her siblings her confidence the way she’s an absolute beast of unit but ALSO I’m bi and she’s hot and there’s nothing wrong with that.

In all seriousness I got into the series with Awakening so I can’t really comment on anything pre that other than I really did not vibe with Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light. Otherwise yeah Fates and Awakening are stupid and tropey and have kinda basic plots but also they are a lot of fun and had some really hilarious moments and also very sincere and powerful moments. Like Chrom and Robin’s every interaction makes me go fucking feral because it’s so goddamn sincere you know? Like they’ll call each other partner and other half and playing through Warriors has just made me like remember how much I like these characters. I just remeber even characters I hated having at least one support that I thought was so funny I ended up liking them. Like I thought Laurent was really boring and then in his support with Noire it turned out he’s a fucking simp and I was like “oh I like this.”

Idk man maybe because it’s nostalgia and I’m tired and 20 now but I think the 3DS era games have a lot of stupid charm that hit me just right when I was in middle school so like yeah I know there are plot problems but I can’t hate it. You’ll tell me it’s badly written or censored or something and I‘ll just nod and go “yeah but LOOK AT MY KIDS”

I also that trend back on 2015 or something where everyone was making Fatesonas slapped and we as a community should bring that back

I cannot speak to Shadows of Valentina because while I own it only played through like half of the game but uh I also think Rinea hot and more shoulda been done with her

Well, now that they're all finally out... my feelings on each of the new Smash Bros characters is this.

Inkling was inevitable. But that doesn't mean I wasn't thrilled to see them. Splatoon is a great new IP, though I personally worry about how similar the games seem to be 3 main entries in, but that's nothing to do with Smash. Fun to play but hard to learn. A- ( the minus is for no Octo alt ).

Ridley felt like he should have been inevitable, but was fighting against some pretty strong biases. But he finally made it and i'm very happy. I do think he could have been a tad bit bigger though. Even if they had to slow him down a bit. A

Simon very happy with this character, and honestly surprised he didn't get in sooner. Castlevania may not be as strongly associated with Nintendo as it used to be, but it's one of the first games that come to mind when you think of the NES as well as the SNES. He was in a TV show with Megaman and Pit for goodness sake. And I enjoy using him. A- ( minus is only for no chronicles alt )

Richter was a cool addition, if there was one other Belmnot to be added, i'm glad it's him... but I am more of a Simon guy. Side note, I wish they took the echo fighter character a little further. It seemed like branding clones as echo fighters is all it took to make people more accepting of the idea, only for them to just stop short of three or four new ones, and not even include super obvious ones like Shadow the Hedgehog or Blood Falcon. Anyway A- ( minus is for no symphony of the night alt )

King K. Rool being revealed was one of my top five Smash moments. Donkey Kong is not a neglected Nintendo franchise. But it has undergone some changes that long time fans don't care for, including the removal of the main antagonist, this guy, who has a gigantic personality. He's a very fun character and it's so good to see him come back ( pls appear in the next DK game pls pls pls ) He also happens to be very fun to play as. A++

Isabelle is where Smash reveals kind of started to lose me a bit. Animal crossing is a big series and all but I really felt like the one villager is all the game really needed to properly represent the entire series. You don't need a lot for Animal crossing. And the fact that Isabelle was a relatively new character, who seemingly snatched the role of series mascot from Tom Nook, well it kind of rubbed me a little wrong. She seemed unnecesary... but she is actually more fun to play as than villager, and she's cute. So I don't totally hate her. B

Incineroar was a poor way to end the base game lineup for me. Pokemon just isn't a very respectible series anymore in my eyes and Sun/Moon was the first game in the series that I found too boring to finish. Pokemon just doesn't excite me, and with each new announcement, I'm becoming actively disgusted by it. I would have loved a wrestler character in the game, but the fact that it had to be a pokemon kind sullied it for me. Yeah, I just can't pretend to like this inclusion even if it is a huge Nintendo IP. C-

Dark Samus is a character I am kind of indifferent too. I didn't think we needed her, but I think she's a cool addition to the game. A bit of a waste to make her an echo though, her abilities are very different from Samus in the games if I remember right, I honestly don't remember much of Metroid Prime besides the first one. Still, she's cool. B+

Daisy is an oddball for me. I know she is in Super Mario Land, but her main identity comes from the Mario Spinoff games, and I just don't play those games. They don't appeal to me. I like Mario platformers. And to me, if a character is in spinoffs almost exclusively, they don't count as core Mario cast members. And frankly it's a little odd to me that she's plucking turnips and summoning Toads. The citizens of Sarasaland are not Toads. And she wasn't in Mario 2... but she's not hurting anything I guess so B+, needed "Hi i'm Daisy" taunt.

Chrom is a Fire Emblem Lord alright. He's also an echo. So I don't care. C

Piranha Plant honestly felt like a little bit of an insult to me. I've always hated when Mario games start featuring low level mooks without names as playable characters in the Mario spinoffs while ignoring the likes of Wart, Tatanga, E. Gadd, or th extended DK/Wario cast or RPG characters. It's part of why I don't care about Mario spinoffs. That being said... it is, at the very least, extremely fun to play as. B-

Joker may very well be the most out of place character in this series. He's certainly one of them. Maybe I would feel different if I played Persona, but I don't. So to me he's like the worst thing they added to this game. D-

Hero felt like he should have been in Smash Bros before cloud did. Dragon Quest may not be as popular in the west as it should be. But it's definitely the most important and influential JRPG to the history of video games... that being said, I wish the DQ3 hero was the default costume. I really enjoy playing as him. A+

Banjo and Kazooie finally getting in is without a doubt my favorite moment in Smash History. Not even Sonic got me as hyped as they did. I wish there was a way to make younger fans see this character the way us old timers do without seeming like we're trying to force them to like him, but it is what it is. I love these guys and they're my most played character. A+++

Terry is a character i'm not familiar with. He just kind of looks like a bootleg Ken to me. I think they could have picked a better SNK rep. Metal Slug would have been nice, shooters are sorely under represented in Smash. Do we have anybody besides Samus representing shooters? And she barely qualifies. C

Byleth is a Fire Emblem Lord alright. But you know what, they're honestly the only FE character that feels like they're representing the gameplay of Fire Emblem particularly well while the others were just kind of generic sword slingers... that being said... was this the best way to end fighter pass 1? B-

Minmin was not a character on my Radar. I thought it would have been Springman or no Arms character at all... I am just happy ARMS made it in at all... but really, it should have been base game content. If only to support the new IP. A-

Steve was a character I was opposed to at first. I saw him as a rival to Banjo. And I also saw Minecraft as a dumb zoomer game. A joke. But people made compelling arguments for the importance of minecraft, how successful it is, I actually downloaded Minecraft on my Switch, played it, had a relaxing time, I still play it, and I was actually able to play with my friends who don't own Nintendo consoles. It has cross play. The cross play is really what won me over as it being really cool to have in Smash, as it really brought me together with friends. I want to see him riding a horse now XD but the idea of him and Klint being in the twins' role is soooooooo good. And the Stronghart part would be a great spin considering the events of game.

But now that you mentioned Stronghart, I can see him as Arvis from Genealogy but I won't go into the details since idk if you played it.

And Ryuu does fit the main units really well, especially Corrin, considering how he grew into his role as a lawyer.

I think you're right, Barok does have some paladin vibes going on! Plus he'd look magnificent atop a horse -- and he would absolutely chase after Klint -Erika in order to protect him from harm / tank e v e r y t h i n g. (I have a soft spot for Seth, he's my favourite of the paladin powerhouses you start an FE game with; tho Frederick with his 'pick a god and pray' line will always be a decent second. I love the idea of such a mardy butler!)

I feel like no matter the game, Stronghart is absolutely some sort of negative force (whether the mastermind behind it all, or the one being manipulated). I tend to lean toward the idea that he is the mastermind, and perhaps others within his sphere of influence are the 'bad guys' while he waits at the back for his chance to shine...

Okay so I'm gonna break this down into segments and header it with a different colour some will he shorter than others. Also sorry if I spell names of county wrong and rember this is just my opinion

Story

Also heads up I played it in this order conquest -> rev -> birthrights I know I should have swapped rev and birthrights but it was really expensive and I was like 14

Fates story is not the best but deffently not as bad as some people said. Overall I'll be honst I liked conquest story but not birthrights which I know most people have the opposite oppion on but like I found conquest to be more fun I enjoyed the idea of sneaking around garons back with your siblings and being powerless at times to stop a lot of the things like the massacre where scarlet dies and ryoma death there where moments I just groaned at the screen but apart from that I had more fun. Birthrights I'll be real the story kind of bored me i only really found certain parts interesting but my favourite moment from fates actually came from birthrights and it was the Xander fight where he killed elise and then let corrin kill him it was tragic and sad and I live for angst ngl. rev story I don't remember to much sorry I mostly fouced on the characters ngl but that sence with the kid turning into the faceless was really cool and also the one with makoto and she fucks with you and the doors but idk if that's classed as story or gameplay but either way that was sick

Gameplay

Fates gameplay was soild as fuck I will die on this hill. The pair up was cool, the skills and classes where sick and the character balancing minor some major problems *cough xander ryoma takumi cough* was pretty cool and corrin is not nearly as broken as Robin or byleth. I like to play conquest the most because I'm a maschoist lol but even though most of revs maps where gimmicks I love them there so iconic, tbh most of fates maps are like I understand most of fates criticism but the maps, apart from rev as not everyone likes gimmicks, I just dont understand

Phoenix mode

Honstly play the game how you want to if that's on normal Phoenix go a head I dont care you play the game how you want to. Like yeah Phoenix mode may take away all the difficulty but casual took away perma death and that's the most played game mode because that's what people want and if people want Phoenix then just let them have it doesn't bother me I will never play it but I dont care if others do.

Corrin

Okay so I actually like corrin and before you look away I will explain why I think their dislikes and why I do like them and think how they could be improved

I think the promblem people have with Corrin is that they dont have enough personilty to be a regular character but they have to much that they can't be an avatar if you know what I mean. Like with Robin they deffently had a personily but they weren't the main character chrom was so it wasn't in your face as much yeah they made some important decisions whitch often did nothing but at the end of the day it lopped back to chrom and this is something corrin cant do everything has to be about corrin as there the main lord. But corrin is kind they dont want to kill common soldiers and that's never really addressed (as far as I can remember) why corrin wont kill like the sibling bit make sense but the common solider whitch could have killed there spouse is just frustrating at times and something not many people feel while playing. Corrin would have worked better if they wasn't a self insert that went against the average players emotions. But yeah I do feel people are to harsh on corrin as well though like with the whole not earning the Yaot witch is like they kind of did though it was the fact that who ever held the yaot would bring the world peace and they did it was there destiny to do so to fight in a war and mabey kill there family but even then I don't see people giving the three houses leaders shit for there wepons and they did less all they did was be born from a group of people that committed genocide! But also many people say nothing bad happens to them but at least in conquest and birthrights corrin suffers, in conquest the blood of what you think are your siblings are on your hands one forced to commit sucide and the other painful possed and then there the amount of murder they just had to watch and then birthrights watching elise die for them and xander pretty much letting corrin kill him and everything else like bruh this shit is sad and is also the reson I pray fe stops using self inserts and goes back to the older ways

How the crack crossover would go, depends on who Yandere has a crush on.

The easiest would be Tsuna, who pre-reborn invokes protective feelings in Yandere, and makes them want to go after his bullies. They even had a kidnapping plan prepared, only for Reborn to show up, and all these guys to start surrounding him, like bodyguards.

Though it would be hilarious if Yandere crushed on Hayato, or Hibiri, for different reasons

E:Ong Plus its very norm for Tsuna to straight up tun into someone. And he's a sweetie.

The only time a girl ever liked him first and she's nuts.

Yan has to be emotionally hardened at this point. She is pretty good to have as a mafia ally. I mean it's not far fetched for them to try to control her . I mean they have Mukuro with them. The Yakuza ending also pretty much stated she would join them. She kidnaps a lot of girls and boys without getting caught.

K: Tsuna, catches their attention. This boy, who the school calls no good, who is failing his classes, who is ruthlessly picked on. He keeps coming. And they start to get mad at the people who keep picking on this sweetie, and then he talks to them one day, and that's it. They feel a lot for him & are determined to put a smile on his face.

And while just talking to him would probably do that , Yandere is too shy to do that, and resorts to other things.

And they are unhardening, and finding emotion can be brought to the forefront to do things for him, and he must be Sempi.

Hayato gets kidnaped a few times (and rescued by Bianchi and others), before Yandere realized they both are here to protect Tsuna

Like, before they bond over that, Hayato is out smoking or something, and just gets nabbed.

He has conspiracy theories over who is kidnapping him.

He kind of just wakes up in these random houses.

One time Hibiri rescues him, and goes after Yandere for disturbing the peace, with kidnapping. And Hayato gets rescued from the truck by kusakabe.

The Yakuza are doing the kidnapping, because that would cut into time with Senpai.

E: Other things like leaving encouraging note to him in his locker or small gifts he would like *honestly Tsuna would be so touched if someone even remembers to include him in something. And it is canon option for Senpai*

Would Yandere be more lax in them? If he is also interested in protecting Senpai, then ally?

If she's the most surprising so far, then he has not gotten far into the family history.
