Mostly Bioware games. Mass Effect, Dragon Age, but also Horizon Forbidden West. Way back when (before ao3) I wrote for Moonlight (2008 tv show) and Pitch Black.

5). Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I try REALLY hard to reply to every comment. They literally mean SO MUCH to me! To know someone read my words and enjoyed them, that I kept them up too late, or made them laugh or cry?! Pure heroin, lolol.

6). What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Bold of you to assume my fics have endings... I'm kidding. Kinda. uhhhhhhhhhhhh. All of them? I think my MEA series Santa Sarita had some very high angst moments - perhaps the ending of The Cost of Salvation was the angstiest? idk.

7). What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

ummmmmm. Hopefully, Say My Name (Say it Twice) lol. But, I think The Charlatan and the Coinshot holds the title right now.

8). Do you get hate on fics?

Not yet. I did get flamed on ff.net way way back when for writing a "mary sue self-insert" which... I was fourteen and had no idea what any of that meant, lolol. I stopped writing fic for like... five years because of that.

9). Do you write smut?

I do, but it usually takes a LONG time to get there in the fic. We have to have FEELINGS first.

10). Do you write crossovers?

No? But, yes? My good friend @artsyblacksheep (who I believe isn't really active here anymore) encouraged me to write a MEA/Mistborn crossover, and she promised to do chapter art for it. I still love that fic so so much, and had a ton of fun writing it, so if you're interested it's The Charlatan and the Coinshot.

11). Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I know of? It seems like a buckwild thing to have happen.

12). Have you ever had a fic translated?

Partially! That's how I met my friend Nina, (who is no longer on tumblr) - she offered to translate The Fall of Santa Sarita into Brasilian Portuguese.

13). Have you ever cowritten a fic before?

Nope.

14). What’s your all-time favorite ship?

All time? Lord. Idk. Solavellan (before things got so toxic). But also I will forever worship at the feet of Riza Hawkeye and Roy Mustang. And, obviously I have put a TON of love and work into Sara Ryder and Reyes Vidal. idk man. I can't decide.

15). What’s the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

I really want to finish the final installment of Santa Sarita. I've come back to it multiple times and I have so many ideas for where it could go, and yet... I just can't ever seem to find the juice for it :(

16). What are your writing strengths?

Emotion. Both in fic and my original work, I get a lot of feedback about how much emotion my words convey and how authentic those emotions feel. Do you wanna cry? Read a himluv fic haha.

17). What are your writing weaknesses?

Description in general, but particularly setting. I have aphantasia, so I really struggle to picture things - especially if I haven't seen them before. So, describing settings or even characters is something that requires a lot of intentional revision for me.

18). Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in a fic?

I used to do it more often, but increasingly I feel like it isn't actually necessary? There's almost always a way to write around it - or to at least convey whatever the character would say. I would do it for French because I can at least speak the language (albeit poorly) but even then I use it sparingly and in very simple constructions that I know are accurate.

I just don't think it's worth using another language poorly (or offensively) when I can write the scene in a different way.

19). First fandom you wrote for?

Pirates of the Caribbean

20). Favorite fic you’ve ever written?

Oh. Man. Ummmm Inevitable, my Solavellan fic. It was a slow drafting process that took years. I spent so much time with it, and by the end it felt like a goodbye letter to the ship in some ways. There's just a lot of heart and emotion in that fic that I will always love.

(i have so many headcanons about every dynamic ever, and they all conveniently vanish the moment i am asked to name one, ha.)

hmm....for Perimedes and Elpenor from Epic the Musical, i have a headcanon that they're in a qpr. and yeah, i know that's modern terminology and they are from ancient greece. (i did a research paper about qprs once, fun fact.) but also: a. you don't need a modern explanation of a concept for that concept to exist in a historical context. b. Perimedes uses the word "yeet" in his cut song, rendering any arguments about historical accuracy invalid. c. i'm having fun and no one can stop me. :)

i also think the idea of Perimedes sometimes calling Elpenor "El" is cute. <3

🦴 ⇢ is there a piece of media that inspires your writing?

oh, there's a lot. my writing in general is inspired by a lot of media. but my venture into the world of ao3 in the first place was because of this series:

and, if i remember correctly, it really inspired me to start getting more into fic writing. it probably also influenced the way i write, since i read it at around the time i was kind of figuring all that out. incredibly good series! <3

as for specific fics, i have so many playlists for inspiration. one of the fics i'm currently working on was completely inspired by the song Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol. (it's a Parallels fic still in my drafts, but if i ever finish it, it's gonna have so much found family trope and it's gonna be great)

oh, and my most recent fic, this one:

you know what inspired it? i was on pinterest, and i saw this photo of eggs:

and i got kinda emotional about how much i liked that photo. idk, i was already in a vaguely-sentimental-fic-writer mood, and that photo somehow just opened the floodgates of ideas in my head. the actual fic is only vaguely related to the photo through the fact that both involve cooking eggs, but nevertheless, some photographer out there is directly responsible for the existence of my current most comforting oneshot for me to reread. and i think that's really neat. i love humanity and art and connection and inspiration. <3

🧩 ⇢ what will make you click away from a fanfiction immediately?

okay, so i tried to think of a new answer to this question, but i couldn't think of one, so i'll just copy-paste my answer from three days ago:

okay, with every answer i try to think of for this one, i immediately think of exceptions. because i have a long track record of being in microscopically small fandoms, and if one of those fandoms got a new fic, there is very, very little that would stop me from reading it to the end. i guess if the entire fic was untagged, very explicit smut, then i would click away immediately. (although most authors i've seen do tag well. so i would probably know without clicking that it's something i won't be really comfortable reading. everyone say thank you for the tag system <3)

yeah, i never really have an interesting answer for this one, ha. i have exactly 2 authors muted on ao3. one was because they had hundreds of fics in many fandom tags that i searched a lot, all of which were exclusively a specific trope that made me really uncomfortable. the other one, i don't remember; no works are showing on the account anymore, but it was probably a similar situation if i felt the need to mute them. other than that, i haven't really been let down by the tag system yet, which i guess is a pretty good thing. :)

So for the Off To series, I'm sure how much thought you've put into them, but what are the potential villain ideas for those stories? Would they be evil miraculous users or would you go for that magic vs magic you mentioned you would have liked to see? Off the top of my head I could see vampires in the Off to London story (though that could be all the Dracula stuff I've been watching talking).

A lot of this info I'm going to go ahead and share cause idk when the Off to series will come out. I haven't even started writing them, and I'd rather see Copycat, Manynette, and Dodged a Beetle done/farther along first. I also still need to sit and watch videos for the settings I'll be writing in, which I won't promise a 100% accuracy, but I am going to learn for the settings and do the best I can (which if there are any corrections to make when these fics come out, do please let me know if something needs to be changed or is wrong).

So, Off to London I haven't thought too much about aside from knowing for sure that Quantic Kids, Felix, and the waiter seen in concept art will be major characters alongside Marinette. Villains really has yet to come to mind. Vampries could work as there was a vampire villain in Pixie Girl.

But otherwise, villains have yet to really come to mind.

By default Felix will be antagonistic. There's that.

Also, some older designs that were really different than what we got will probably exist in Off to London as background classmates. One of these characters will even make an early appearance in the next chapter of Copycat.

Though, Off to Milan I had a lot more ideas for villains. I don't have a whole story planned out, but I do have some villains/antagonists.

Lila Rossi will be for sure, though probably more of a starting villain/antagonist since she is set to go to Paris after a while (towards the end of s1). As it's a given she'll be in Paris for the rest of canon, she probably won't be involved in any Miraculous or magic activity. She's just a two faced bully. She may be confirmed magical in some way and that's how she's able to lie and manipulate so easily but that's a thought for later.

Now other villains/antagonists, they exist through Pixie Girl, as she's one of the few concepts that showed off quite a bit of the cast and potential allies or threats and Off to Milan was planned to largely work off the mages we see as the antagonists.

Idk what's going to go on with them. Don't know what the goal will be. Don't even quite have down what they can do, but there are a few details I have down that are for sure:

They are a descendants of a long line of black mages, hailing from a magical clan/coven that has been kinda dying out, maaaaaybe descendants of Morgana le Fey; if so the family would definitely stick to le Fey as the surname, otherwise the surname will be related to night or darkness

The twins names are going to be Scarlet and Jasper, Scarlet is the more hotheaded of the two, very competitive and looks down on others, while Jasper is a little more toned down and sly; Scarlet is the favorite/preferred of the two, and likes combative/destructive magic, Jasper is more artistic, the dark artist, if you will; honestly these two will probably have some inspirations from Zuko and Azula

Pixie is set to have a crush on one of the two and it's enemies to lovers; initial plan is Jasper playing off that it seems Pixie had a crush on a boy and I think the initial plan was kinda another Love Square scenario between Pixie and the Wizard; but not a 100%, that's more of what I predicted, if the show ever came out.

I am pretty open on potential ships for Off to Milan, so Pixie can easily crush on Scarlet instead. Honestly, only for sure I have is Pixie crushing on one of the twins and everything else is pretty open to happen.

And that's pretty much all I got planning wise that is for sure for Off to Milan. I will say, IF the specials for Lady Lion and Lady Butterfly do come out before this fic does, then any villains introduced could wind up included.

Though it would be a little bit of a bummer cause I wanted to try and play around with these characters before they became official but given my writing progress, if it happens, not the end of the world. I'll just make the necessary adjustments and we keep on keeping on.

What are your thoughts on Luke Skywalker’s love interests in Legends (Mara Jade, Callista, etc.) versus his fanon love interests in Disney canon (Din Djarin, Ezra Bridger, etc.)? How do you think Luke is viewed differently, and how would the fanon Disney love interests be treated if they were canon? (I should also be working on an art piece rn but I was thinking about this.)

okay so i don't really know anything about legends, i only pull references or lore from it when i need it, so i don't really know much about mara or anyone else. i've seen a ton of maraluke content, and a lot of it is really nice actually. the art is cute and i have many mutuals who ship them. idk if i actually ship them, because again, idk who mara really is, but i don't mind the ship much. idk who callista is, but i like the name. anyway, fanon love interests in disney canon are pretty good. i personally adore dinluke (the fandom... is another story) and i endorse every other luke ship out there. i don't really care who he gets shipped with, i'm just going along with the vibe. i guess i really enjoy that disney canon never gave him a love interest, because that leaves a lot of fans to do with that as they please. i do like the aroace luke headcanon too, and i do like ideas of him being in a qpr with whoever. i think since more people are familiar with disney canon luke, they characterize him to be a bit more feminine and make him more of a "sub gay sunshine twink" (cries and sobs and vomits and wails and screeches and-) so i do tread a bit more carefully with the gay or queer ships luke is in. i don't really see luke getting shipped with any women outside of mara (which makes sense because this guy never interacts with women in the first place), which is kinda unfortunate, but understandable.

i guess in the end, i'm not actually a big shipper. while i do dabble with ships here and there, i'm not really directly into just shipping, so i don't try to interact with shipping fandoms unless i really enjoy a specific ship. i think that a lot of the world would be really enraged if luke got an actual canonical love interest. it's just something that a lot of people would be mad about. and introducing an actor to play a love interest for luke is sure to get some of the most vile hate out there, especially if they're a poc (or a woman. or both). so while the idea of luke getting a love interest, whether it be already a fanon ship like dinluke or skybridger or skyrissian, or another new character brought in from legends, is cool and all, i think bringing fanon into canon wouldn't end well, and it'd be better off to just leave things as they are. ofc there's always the opportunity to explore character relationships with luke in an interesting and dynamical way. romance doesn't need to be a thing in the story for the story to be actually told.

that being said, i just don't really see luke ever getting into a relationship in canon. i'd say it'd be interesting to see him with a love interest, but i know that if that actually happens, i'd probably be mad about it too lmao. i'm just very keen on keeping things the way they are already.

Possibly poisoned by the fact that most of my exposer is old 00's art where people were just trying to find anything hetrosexual to ship in this show. There aren't really a lot of main characters and Tak appears only in one episode so back then a lot of people didn't even know she existed.

Okay this one is one I haven't posted about before lol. I don't SHIP ship it, as in I think they should be otp dating forever, I just like the idea of Tak being Dib's one comp-het moment.

Like, back when Tak first appeared and he thought she was human, he actually really liked her because she believed him and engaged with his ideas! So he took his normal like of another person and went "Is this romance? Maybe I could be straight. I could try that" and then she turned out to be an alien before it went anywhere lol

I think Skoodge and Zim's relationship is interesting, and I like thinking about why Skoodge acts around Zim the way he does, I just... I just can't see it romantically. I think Skoodge deserves better, Zim would not treat him right.

I think Skoodge listens to whoever is scariest. He's a good loyal irken solider, but he also knows Zim is Definitely more powerful and so he follows him around. He wouldn't rat Zim out, not because of loyalty or love, but because he doesn't think he'd live.

Status? about Four. I think this one hits the sweet spot for a lot of people: not too long, a bit angsty, but sweet.

Rise and Shine and Fall, my successful (by that I mean actually wrote and posted every day on schedule) Whumptober 2022 extravaganza compilation. I posted it all in one work, so it's higher than most other whump fics of mine, but there's a lot in it!

5. Do you respond to comments? Always!! I admit to being SO VERY BEHIND right now, a couple months' worth. I'm trying to keep up on new ones, but I've had some beautiful wonderful readers going through my catalog and I can't always keep up!! XD

6. Fic with the angstiest ending: I don't write a lot of negative endings, so I think this badge goes to Counterbalance, my LU Darks AU. I'm actually fully in love with this fic, it's probably the best mix of silly and angsty I've ever written. It's full of what are essentially OCs but they're all my babies and I love them.

7. Fic with the happiest ending: incandescently happy, post-LU. The whole fic is essentially a fix-it ending, though LU doesn't have an ending yet. XD

We're currently in the process of working on a big epic original fantasy series, though that's a long-term project. @batrogers and I have done a few alt-POV-type projects too, which have been super duper fun!! Hope to do more.

In that vein too, I feel like the Bad End Links kind of qualify here—so much of the characters and their stories were brainstormed collaboratively and so many friends have contributed details and fics and art, it feels like a fun group project! I've really enjoyed working on it. :D (the encouragement and hype for it also helps a lot!! I'm really hoping to finish this big project out!)

14. All-time favorite ship? Ahhhh a harder question than you'd think, tbh, even if you're limiting it to fic. I've written the most for Vidow, and they're definitely up there (same with Fourdow though I've done less with them.) I do have to admit that Linhardt/Byleth might take the cake, though. They were the first ship I was ever actually obsessed with, and the first romantic pairing I wrote in fic.

I just really adore Linny in general, and I love how the pairing continues and closes off some of the themes in the Crimson Flower route of FE3H. That's the only route where Byleth doesn't become archbishop-slash-dictator, and I think choosing to live life in a small cottage, not particularly contributing too much to the government, builds nicely upon the themes of becoming human and choosing your own destiny, themes that are really missing from the other routes.

15. WIPs you want to finish but doubt you ever will? My old AO3 account (a couple FE3H fics and not much else) has a series where I wrote the beginning of a fic and then had several different endings planned, each a different ship with Linhardt, but I only ever wrote one. I'd love to read the rest but I have too many other fics calling my name!

16. Writing strengths? Um... Volume and speed? Also AUs. I think I can call myself good at fitting characters into new settings. Also fight scenes are fun and I think I do them well.

17. Writing weaknesses? I feel somewhat weak in the plotting and style realms.

18. Thoughts on mixed language dialogue? You can't count on a reader to know not-tagged languages, so that has to be accounted for in the text.

I promise I'm still working on that last chapter (and the epilogue), I just gotta throw everything else aside one month and buckle down. Maybe June, I don't have any fic events planned and 06/23 was the last update. I think some earlier chapters need a refresh as well, once I have the ending written.

Okay, Asoryuu is an interesting one for me because I just like. Don't think about them that often. WSLDHDK Let me just explain what I mean by the above boxes, I think I can be coherent.

They got the Romeo and Juliet box purely because they're in Meiji era Japan -- rip to them -- but Asoryuu to me is very... one-sided? Like, I do think they're half-canon in the sense that Kazuma is almost 100% obsessed with Ryuunosuke in some way, but I don't think Ryuunosuke reciprocates those feelings or is even aware of them. He strikes me as the kind of person who wouldn't get that a person's in love with him even if they punched him in the face with their confession. So like. Meiji-era homoerotic subtlety would just go right over his head to me shskdgsk. I know a lot of people point to the 'carrying on Kazuma's mission in London' thing as evidence that Ryuunosuke is/was in love with him, because he wouldn't do that if they were just friends, but idk!! I would do that for my best friend honestly?? Especially if I didn't have a path in life that I felt strongly about, and my bestie was certain that I was cut out for whatever was in London? And then they died?? Idk, I've always seen that as an honour to the dead thing rather than a strictly romantic thing. I think what I consider most important to their relationship is that they are friends and that there is love there, no matter what kind or to what intensity. I don't think the one-sided longing (if it exists) would affect their bond in any way, and I think that's lovely. Oh, and they got the 20 years box because it would probably take that much time of hinting for Ryuunosuke to even consider the possibility of them being more than friends, and because Kazuma needs about as much time to properly process everything he's been through and maybe start looking at Ryuunosuke through lighter rose-tinted lenses.

I don't have really have strong feelings about Asoryuu either way, and I think that's for several reasons. The first is because Kazuma... Does very little for me WDSJDGJ I like him!! But I wasnt immediately attached to him from the moment I met him the way I think a lot of people were. I felt a lot more for him when he died, but his coming back struck me more plot-wise than emotionally wjsgskshjsjk Ryuunosuke, on the other hand, is my favourite attorney ever. I love him SO much, so like. Very uneven set of priorities here. Another reason is because I generally don't like devotion? When it comes to ships? I find it weird, and, while I think Kazuma has a pretty grounded view of Ryuunosuke, there's definitely a bit of that 'you saved me' narrative happening that I think they'll need to work through first.

The final, and probably largest reason to why I don't feel anything for them, is because it has a tendency of undermining Susato's relationship with both of them and her role in the narrative itself. I'm so. God. Ryuunosuke may be my favourite attorney, but Susato-san is my favourite girl ever. She is my world. I would kill for her. And, like, a LOT of what is taken to be Asoryuu moments/wins ignores how important Susato-san was in those instances!! Ryuunosuke carrying on Kazuma's mission in London? Part of that was because it was also Susato's dream to go to London! Ryuunosuke taking on Kazuma's soul? Guess who literally gave it to him!! Bringing Kazuma back from the dead?? He didn't!!!!! It was Susato-san who yelled his name and reminded him of who he was!!!!!!! It was in a cutscene!!!!! I am!!! Screaming!!!!! Begging Capcom to stop positioning her like a side character in favour of having Asoryuu standing side-by-side, swords crossed, the sun rising behind them when she's the literal deuteragonist -- I have seen the official art and things need to change.

And I would say that I'd like the ship if they did keep Susato-san around, but honestly? Isn't it just another thing she has to take at the end of the day? She spent years in vain trying to reach Kazuma, and then along comes this boy he's known for half of university and sweeps him away. Like it's easy. Like it's nothing. And of course she would be happy for them; she loves them. She has to be happy for them. There is no other option. It just strikes me like it's that thing with her father and Holmes all over again! it's just another relationship she has to accept, and!! Hasn't she done enough?!?!??! God. Her.

So, I found more info, and one of two things is going on:

The Attack on Titan/Harry Potter fan isn't just a fan of two examples of media made by bigoted creators, but actually is a bigot themselves and verbally supports the creators as opposed to just enjoying the franchises. This member of staff is deleting all evidence they can, including deleting blogs.

Some randos on tumblr are mad at staff and trying to make it look like there's a cover-up going on.

Honestly, I'm not sure at this point, especially since no one's trying to host evidence either way off-site.

So far ever single piece of evidence I've seen is, a screenshot of them liking dramionie (it think that's how it's spelled? Idk I was never into HP), a gifset they reblogged from AOT, and and aged up ship fan art of the kid (idk her name) from spyxfamily. Like that's it so far. So uhh take that as you will. It's a Google doc floating around somewhere it was like 1 full page at most with 3 screenshots.

Also considering I found out about the drama cause of someone saying they were going to go suicide bait staff I can probably guess why they decided to take it down.

Still I don't think staff handled it the best they could have and people complain about the swiftness of posts being taken down when all other reports of harrasment don't see the same urgency have every right to be upset.

Omg I basically have all the same headcanons lol!!

Yeah outwardly Sunstreaker and Bluestreak appear to be total opposites to everyone else on the Ark! But I think they actually have a lot in common. They've both threw more than they ever should have as kids with Sunstreaker growing up as a gladiatot and the destruction of Praxus and they're still dealing with the trauma of that. And even now they're both still so young as soldiers and sometimes just want to forget about the war and have fun to be themselves.

Like you said they both compliment each other with how Sunstreaker is always happy to listen to Bluestreak talk because he only likes to speak when he feels he has something to say. And it's rare for Bluestreak to find someone who understands why he's so talkative and doesn't tell him to shut up.

And same Bluestreak is the only one allowed to openly call Sunstreaker "Sunny" without getting punched in the face. Haha Prowl would totally give him a shovel talk with Jazz watching eating popcorn! And same as you can probably tell from my fic I also headcanon that Bluestreak lost his family in the destruction of Praxus and Prowl being adopted siblings. (And I like to write Bluestreak as a transgirl but that doesn't have any basis in canon that's just me 😅).

I hadn't thought about them being PDA but ongoing your right they totally would! Bluestreak is so outwardly happily in showing his love! And I also think Sunstreaker just likes the attention lol.

I imagine both Bluestreak and Sunstreaker thinking that the other just shines so brightly! Like they both think that they are the moon and the other is the sun if that makes sense??? They bring out the best in each other but they also see the darker parts of one another that the rest of the Ark and even their brothers don't always see.

- I love the differences in writing between blue and sunstreaker, how blue is talkative and energetic but can be seen as too much, while sunny is very reserved, and creative but incredibly cocky

- sunstreaker being more quiet and blue being more talkative complement each other so so well. blue doesn’t have to be scared he’s gonna overwhelm sunny (and if he does he trusts sunny to tell him) and sunny isn’t shooed aside in conversations because he only talks when he feels what is he says is important.

- 100% believe tho in terms of couples they would be the most obnoxiously in ur face couple on the ark, pda all the way baby. sunstreaker wouldn’t really give a shit what people think and bluestreak is really just vibing and happy to be around him

u name it, hugs, cuddling, little pecks throughout the day, u cannot get away from the pda.

- Sunstreaker got a shovel talk from prowl and smokescreen (mostly prowl and jazz made fun of him afterwards for being so protective)

bluestreak did not, however, get one from sideswipe because it is constantly implied to everyone that if one twin is picked on the other is right around the corner ready to start throwing elbows

- sideswipe and smokescreen were definitely on the side making bets on if they would get together

Have you ever watched any of the big 3 (One Piece, Bleach, Naruto) if so what do you think of the ships in those fandoms whether it be canon or not ?

No, actually I have not seen any of those, and I don't really plan on it, anytime soon at least. I know they're household favorites, I just haven't really ever been motivated to see them myself. I'm actually not too sure what they've done to earn their spot in the Big 3. Though, if anyone goes out of their way to suggest I watch it, then maybe I'll give it a try!

Anyway onto my thoughts:

One Piece seemed really similar to Fairy Tail from what I've seen of it, so I wasn't very intrigued. Plus the art isn't really my thing, and since it's one of the longest running animes ever, I never really felt up to the commitment of finishing it, so I just never started. I don't have much to say about its ships unfortunately mainly because idk any of the characters even by name besides Luffy, and even then idk what he's like.

As for Bleach, to be honest, I have next to no idea what it's about. I've seen an orange-haired guy with a sword maybe and a girl with short, dark hair, but I just don't know and have never really been curious about it. I'm guessing the MC and the girl are shipped together?? I couldn't tell you.

And lastly for Naruto, idk exactly why I've never watched it. I know you're not supposed to make judgements and assumptions based on just what other people have told you, but, despite it being one of the most well-known animes, I haven't really heard good things about it from people I know. I've heard its ships don't make sense and are cringey, and that the plot armor is ridiculous, power escalation too fast, tons of filler etc. Ofc I've also heard it's beloved by many as their favorite anime of all time. The conflicting reviews just didn't inspire me to watch it I suppose. I do know a couple (and I do mean a literal couple) of canon ships, namely Naruto x Hinata and Sasuke x Sakura, but even while not knowing much about the show or them, I have a feeling I wouldn't like either of those ships. (But I’ve also heard that Sasuke and Naruto make a good pairing? So maybe their ship redeems Naruto’s canon ones a bit haha). I've heard Sakura is basically as bad as juvia from fellow Anti-gr///vians, being obsessed with Sasuke and chasing after him or something and is just plain useless, and I generally really don't like those types of characters, i.e., characters who crush on a person from the very beginning. I find them annoying, and I find their relationship doesn't add anything to the show considering there's no room for growth on their part. Idk much about Naruto's and Hinata's relationship, but I will say this on the topic of shipping:

I generally like to ship the MC with available, compatible people, and that usually means those in their inner circle of friends and colleagues. In a group like Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke, without knowing anything about them, I'd expect/want Naruto and Sakura to get together, and for Sasuke to find someone else outside the main group, either that or Naruto and Sasuke together and Sakura gets booted to the curb. I know my shipping Gray with Lucy stoutly contradicts that sentiment of mine, a sentiment not really founded on anything either, but it's just unsatisfying for me to think about how Sasuke and Sakura date, and Naruto, the real MC, is left being the one who has to find his love interest outside the main people. There's no real reason, I don't think, to think this way; I just happen to. Maybe I'll try analyzing why I do sometime.

As for my favorite anime and manga, that's definitely something that has changed recently. As mainstream as it might sound, I do think Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) is my actual favorite currently. I watched it for the first time just this last winter, and boy, was I blown away by it all, from the stunning art to the dazzling action to the wicked character design to the world building to the delightfully unique, lovable characters to the hilarious humor to the angst and the darkness to the inhumanity of the demons... it's an absolute masterpiece, and I'm beyond excited when each new episode is released. The way it balances drama and badass action and tragedy and horror and love... it's just perfection. I could gush on this for a while so I'll stop myself here (My multi-shipping heart is having a hay day with Tanjiro so that's also fun :D).

And lastly, for my favorite manga, it's really tied between One Punch Man and Eyeshield 21! They're both drawn by the same mangaka, Yusuke Murata, and he's just the best mangaka I have ever had the pleasure of witnessing. His art is just immaculate, so detailed, so beautiful! He's not the only reason I love those two mangas though! OPM is just so delightfully hilarious and comedic, with suspense and loads of action and really unique characters and motivations, and yet has you feeling things at all the right moments! Saitama is my absolute favorite from that manga, and I am on his side till the end! #justiceforcapedbaldy! I've been checking my manga websites daily for the updates, and they come sooo slowly but the quality is worth it!! Tbh though, I'm not the biggest fan of the current arc, mainly because there's not nearly enough of the one punch man if you get me? I know it's hard to put him into everything since he can literally kill anything with ease, but still, I feel very Saitama-starved, and I'm not too happy with it rn. For Eyeshield 21, it might be lesser known since it's an American football anime set in Japan, but it is one of my all-time favorites. For one, I already love to watch NFL, so it's kind of in my ballpark, but I really love the character growth and the story pacing and the grit and gall by this little, scrappy underdog team clawing its way to get to the championships! Ugh I just love the characters, and Sena Kobayakawa, the MC, is just the best, so endearing and hard-working and well-meaning, I ship him with basically everyone. I'm on my second read-through, and I am loving every second of it! (I gave myself a couple years before I read it again so it could be all fresh in my mind as it had the glorious first time I laid eyes on it!) I highly recommend reading it if sports manga is your thing!
