jason *tries* to be cryptically romantic by saying "i love you" in latin at one point to leo but the problem is spanish is a romance language and "i love you" in spanish and latin are VERY similar, so leo IMMEDIATELY understands and starts sputtering and swearing at him because "YOU DON'T JUST SAY THAT AT RANDOM!" and jason is bewildered because when did leo learn latin?

I loved the rep, especially because of his religious past, I'm not sure if trauma is the right word, so I'm not using it. Not to mention being raised for the first 10 years (which btw is a majority of his life bc NICO IS A CHILD) in the 1930s where homophobia was rampant and being gay was "not okay". He had no one to tell him that he wasn't abnormal, or wrong, for his sexuality. He is great representation of queer people who grow up in heavily religious groups / spaces who aren't accepting of the LGBTQIA+ community.

OK OK OK!! I just finished reading ‘Cats who Chose who to Like’ on Ao3, and I read your note about the second part!! Please (if you want to ofc) tell me more!! You mentioned it was going to be Post- Manhattan?? Do I sense angst?? Do I sense… heartbreak??

IT IS POST-MANHATTAN 🤭!!! And yes, your angst and heartbreak sensors are ringing correctly, buuuut there is also going to be a substantial amount of fluff in it. Bear, of course, is going to be the leading star, but also, I'll be exploring Will's relationships, trauma, coping mechanisms, and inner workings. I have already, mayhaps, added a brief scene of Nico and Will bonding because I'm a sucker for it.

The timeline is planned to go from post-Manhattan all the way through post-TSATS since I don't see many people delve into what Will experienced in Tartarus and I want to. I have already added one flashback, so more can be expected...probably. LOU ELLEN AND CECIL WILL BE GUEST STARS. I have a lot of plans for this, though I haven't thought towards ToA yet as while I love the series, I have mixed feelings about some things.

OH YEAH! Fun fact: Throughout my currently unnamed pt 2, Will slowly (and I mean very, very slowly) learns that Lee was dating Luke. So, you can look forward to getting his reaction to that 😁

Nico is a self-taught cook, and while he is best at cooking Italian dishes, he definitely will try his hand at whatever, but he enjoys things that challenge him. He also can't stand the way Will cooks, not that Will is necessarily bad at it; Kayla and Austin will disagree with that statement vehemently though. Will is so messy when he cooks, whereas Nico keeps messes to a minimum.

Will also accidentally makes food a bit too spicy, which Nico has a hard time eating, but he appreciates the thought. When they do have to cook together, Nico starts off intructing Will, but absolutely can NOT stand the way his boyfriend cooks, so he tells him to move and takes over while Will stares lovingly at him.
