Girl, I just realised that at the end of manga, we see everybody healthy and happy. Mikey and Takemichi saved everybody in the end. But we don't have any information about only one person. Inui Akane. What happened to her? Did they prevent the fire? Seishu doesn't have the scar at the end.

Ah that is one of the big mysteries about the ending! Just because she isn't there doesn't mean she's dead since there's also no Luna or Mana and we don't even see Yasuda or Yumi. And as you said Inui doesn't have his scar so that means either Takemichi and Mikey completely prevented the fire or they made sure Inui wasn't at home during the fire.

I feel like this comes down to if Takemichi and Mikey purposely tried to stop the fire or not. See obviously they would if theu knew but the problem is at no point do we see Inui or even Koko talk to them about the fire and even if they did they'd have to know the house location and the specific date at the very least. Though obviously they could've been told this at some point that we didn't see. We're also never told the cause of the fire so I'm not sure how you prevent that exactly so just getting Inui out of the house would've been the easier option. And of course Mikey and Takemichi would've somehow made sure Akane didn't go home too if they knew. But if they didn't know? If they changed the timeline enough meaning Inui wasn't home that night and it was all a coincidence? That of course raises further questions too though like if Inui wasn't home would Koko have searched longer and found Akane and rescued her???? It's a mystery!

k you asked for unpopular f1 opinions and idk if this even counts but i Do Not Like lando norris. i actively dislike him, actually. couldn't really tell you why, he's just really annoying. and that move with the fist pump during max's anthem at the canadian gp? not fucking cool. i also hate when people say shit like "omg he's so public school core" or "idk he just feels more authentic than the rest of them (drivers)" because most people didn't know he had money growing up. his dad is like a fucking billionaire (millionaire?) CEO like shut up. i just feel like he can't possibly be as nice as people think. also his win in miami had distinctly Weird Vibes. not necessarily bad, just Wrong. should not have happened. also that thing where he said "trump is someone you gotta have a lot of respect for" like no??? he's not??? he's a conservative right wing politician who was found guilty on all 34 counts in his hush money case. he's a white-collar criminal (the worst kind). he deserves no respect. shut up. it would be better to just not say anything at all. yeah.

No2. I don't hate lando, I'm not a lando 'hater', bc I feel like you can't really hate a person you have never met and don't know on a personal level. However, I do feel very strongly abt some of his actions, and I do think he should take accountability for shit he's done. Personally, I just don't like him that much, and so I stay away from his content and fans. If I see smthng funny he's done or see content abt him that I enjoy then I laugh and appreciate it, but recently he's just been irritating towards my beliefs and values, so I'm keeping my distance.

No3. I just wanna say, very gently, even if you dislike a driver, you shouldn't discredit their wins/ accomplishments bc in the end thats smthng they've earned, and it's literally their job, like for me, when I saw miami, I thought "good for him" and moved on. I did get really pissed abt his comments on trump tho, man really went and stained his first race win with all that shit.

No4. Ur point on the way ppl say, 'he's more authentic than the rest of the drivers'. Honestly, I've seen so many ppl have this opinion, and all I'm gonna say is: Every driver has a different pr strategy. Lando's whole strategy is being perceived as 'relateable' and 'quirky', and, by the looks of it, it's working really well. Obv we – as fans – will never know if he's genuinely like this in person or if it is just fully pr (same with all the other drivers), but from what's provided to us we're all free to make our own assumptions :]

I think, nonnie (and this is meant in the kindest way possible), assumptions like these are smthng we should avoid making. You don't know lando, and I don't know lando, so really we'll never know if he's truly as nice or not, and we shouldn't say stuff like this about ppl who've never actually done anything to be precieved that way. Like yes, we can talk abt how lando is ignorant and the type to either: 1. Not think bfr he speaks/ does smthng or 2. Has really bad political views and questionable morals (and if this option is fully confirmed, i will become a full hater, doesn't matter if hes nice or not). do you have any tips on growing-out hair? 💛

disclaimer my hair’s always grown really long and ive always just been the shampoo & conditioner kind so idk if im the right person to ask but since i started bleaching the fawk out of it i use olaplex no3 or k18 conditioner (used as a pre-wash 30ish min mask) once a week to keep it from breaking off. I’ve also been putting oil (literally a whatever garnier fructis fuckass cheap hair oil but it works so well) on the lengths/ends twice a day which keeps it from having the straw texture bleached hair loves to have & other than that i haven’t really used anything that id say has shown me different results that normal.. but id for sure recommend getting into bond preserving hair care (eg k18 or olaplex, or ive seen a bunch more affordable options at the stores lately too i just haven’t tried them myself) bc breakage is usually the main cause of being unable to grow ur hair long. good luck i am wishing you the most rapunzel hair ever 💖

Inbox cleansing with my anime spree these past months. First it was My Blissful Marriage, then Sign of Affection, then Dungeon Meshi, then recently I finished Sugar Apple Fairytale and now I'm on a ride of Sousou no Frieren.

I'm here to share my anime world gossips lol

1. That said, people been saying that Laios, one of the mcs in Dunmeshi is autistic-coded and he's just got all this hyperfixation with eating monsters

And there's a whole war (??) of anime-onlys being annoyed or not liking Shuro who basically said that Laios is weird and he never liked him because he's weird and somehow Laios never picked up the hints and... oldiemanga-readers being defensive of Shuro because anime-onlys seems to have 'no reading comprehension' for not liking Shuro straight up saying those things AND adding that he feels like Laios is not taking saving his sister business seriously as he should

Mind you, as most manga readers, they already have years of analysis and back stories of these characters meanwhile the anime-onlys are reacting based on real time; the things they see and judge based on the limited time and info they have 👀

And even if they already have as much info, I think it's fine to be like, Well that Shuro guy crossed a line there

I'm not saying he's EVIL but I'm saying, he said some hurtful things and that does not equate to That Man is Evil

2. Frieren in Sousou no Frieren is too relatable. I love her sm. She's so silly. 1000+ years old elf and she's got very little grasp of emotions and social cues

Frieren went travelling for some odd decades years just vibing on her own, and came back to see her much shorter-living friends are so much older and, hey, dying!

It reminds me of me, being stuck in my head a lot doing side quests and then comes back to earth to realize that I haven't interacted with other human beings for hoursss.

And I'm only human. Imagine Frieren with this trait and she doesn't get old because she's an elf and she's just whiling away, not caring and forgetting that her friends are getting older everyday

I wish that Himmel is alive and they're together but then at the same time it's funny because what i mean I want is truthfully Frieren and younger handsomer Himmel, not bald and stooping Himmel.

Such is our preference for aesthetically pleasing things

4. Did you discover any new authors that you love this year?

Not really?? I don't super read by authors unless they're "classics" or I'm reading a series. Also it's fairly rare that I like more than one book by an author. I read and liked both Douglas Stuart's books this year. I did NOT like both books I read by Deborah Levy (Hot Milk good Swimming Home blegh). I guess you could maybe say Nabokov because I read Pnin (meh) and Pale Fire (Meh but slightly better) this year and Lolita (good) last year...

17. Did any books surprise you with how good they were?

Sorry for saying Contact for all these answers but it was hands down my fav book I read this year. Maybe A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving? It took me a while to get through but I ended up really enjoying esp bc i went in with... Low expectations. I've got another book by him I got at the used book store but I haven't gotten around to it. Idk. It's just themes (friendship fate religion) I'm generally interested in and I like kind of a wimpy academic narrator and a bildungsroman...

25. What reading goals do you have for next year?

Read Anna Karenina and LOTR. Probably read at least 100 books for year no3 in a row but will obv depend on what job I get slash what I do with my year from May on... So not wedded to that one.
