mustafa dying really upset me too. he had a genuine connection with y/n i feel like (besides ibrahim ofc) and i really liked him. you fleshed out his character so well that it shocked me when he died! he must’ve been scared, surrounded by people who wanted him dead. his mom far away. the love of his life (y/n) meeting an uncertain fate in that random castle. his brother just dying infront of him. i thot he had his army with him too, so im surprised Mehmed’s men were surrounding him. it’s just sad!

BUT SO GOOD! i’m so excited to see how this goes! how far it goes! i’ve really enjoyed annotating while i read as well, i feel like im more immersed in the story! thank you for chapter 10! it was delicious 😩

Pedro has been away for months now. It's been hard for the both of you, especially this time, because none of you could actually fly to see each other. It never really happens, because you always manage to go and see him, even just for a few days. But this time, your schedule has been hectic and week-ends were shortened because your were spending them working from home.

You still managed to call each other, but never for long, due to the time differences, either one of you got busy at some point. And it is different. It's not physical, sometimes you get to see each other, but most of the time it was only phone calls as you were at work and Pedro on set.

You both felt the frustration. This time, it felt extremely longer, and it irritated you so much. You didn't have your lover by your side, he wasn't here to support you, to help you in hard times, and a text was definitely not enough. Every little things upset you. Not helping, was that every bad things were happening at the same time. It was getting intense and you didn't know how to act anymore.

Neither of you knew when it would end. Pedro told you that it was lasting longer than usual because the weather didn't fit the set and there were some problems with some accessories. It was hard to focus on the good things. You knew what you entering to when you both started to date. You usually managed to go through it, but this time was very different.

You tried so hard to focus on the day he would come back. Seeing him enter the house with his luggage, his exhausted expression with a big smile as he finally sees you in front of him. How you would hug him, very tight because it would still feel like a dream. Smelling his perfume like it was the first time.

What you also loved when Pedro come back is that he always takes you to the most sweet date the next day. It's like a ritual, showing you the love he missed giving you while he was away. Last time he took you to the zoo, you had a nice picnic in a parc not far from it, at the end of the day you drove to the beach for a nice dinner at a restaurant before going back home. You couldn't wait to see what he would prepare for you this time.

The day Pedro came back finally arrived. It was long overdue. As soon as he texted that he was driving home, you were standing behind the window waiting for him. You didn't even wait for him to park that you ran outside. He barely had the time to get out of the car that you already in his arms. What you remembered and imagined were real, and it felt even better. He hold you tight and couldn't stop kissing your head. When you finally parted, it was only for a few seconds before you finally kissed each other. A feeling almost forgotten. Time stopped for a minute, nothing else mattered. You were reunited. You spent the rest of the day together, talking about everything, not remembering what you already knew or not. It didn't matter, you didn't see each other for months, you both had a lot to catch on.

The next day, as promised, Pedro took you out. This time he didn't tell where you were going. He didn't let out a thing, not even a hint.

"you know that stresses me out" you tried to convince him

"what?"

"not knowing where we're going" he rolled his eyes as he gently hit your thigh.

"if you must know, we're almost here" you were looking around you, it was the city, nothing weird. It was around 10am so it would definitely be some place to have some coffee or such.

"It doesn't help"

"Cariño" you looked at each other. You missed the pet names. You felt butterflies in your stomach. You were looking around, trying to recognise any place you could. Your eyes lit up when you saw the coffee shop where you had your first date with Pedro. You started to smile. "Why are you smiling?" Pedro asked as he caught a glimpse of you.

"I know where we're going"

"Is that so?"

"Yep. We drove in front of it." You were proud of yourself. Pedro didn't say anything and just turned on the left to a parking lot, and parked the car.

"So, where are we going? If you do know" Pedro asked as he got out of the car. You chuckled as you unbuckled your belt. He was quick to get to you and open the car door for you.

"You mean the coffee shop where we had our first date?" You stared at him with a big smile. Pedro sighed as he closed the door.

"Good reminder that I will have to blindfold you next time"

"Yeah" you playfully hit his arm. You started to walk there, arms intertwined.

Once you were in the place, you were having flashbacks of many memories. It's been a while since you came here. You were both seated to the same table where you had your first date. It made you think about the way you were so shy the first time you were sitting in front of him there.

You both had a wonderful time, catching up about things you both did while separated. You spent a couple of hours talking, reminiscing, not realising how fast the time was flying by. As you both got out of the coffee shop, you walked by to your car, not knowing that Pedro had lots of stuff planned for the rest of the day.

Lunch? A nice picnic in your favorite parc, where you go on a walk regularly together.

Afternoon? A cute trip to the zoo. You were surprised that Pedro took you there because he always hated to see so many people at the same time, but it was a quiet day and he secretly adored to see you fascinated and completely falling in love with all the animals there.

Dinner? A drive-thru and eating in the car parked in front of the nicest view of the city. Simple but always breathtaking. You stayed there the rest of the night, laughing, talking about everything, remaking the world, playing card games.

At some point you were starting to get tired, same for Pedro. The rhythm these past few days plus the jet lag was tough. So you finally head home, head full of new memories. Pedro always makes his return memorable. That's what helps when he is away, you know how special he makes you feel, the way he treats you like his queen.

JUST SO Y'ALL KNOW, I am SO BAD at writing present/past time and present/past time only. Like, if it starts with "went" and "she did this or that" blablabla, there's a high risk it will switch to present time later on in the fic, just so y'all know. It can switch back and forth like that, so yeah.

(it's pretty... whatever, you go see for yourself if you want to haha, but my writing is pretty awkward)

Prom night

The night was finally here. Her prom night has finally arrived.

Yaz is trodding back and forth in her new bought black and Darkblue dress. Her prom starts in just 15 minutes, where is she?

It's a rule in Yaz's school that only people from that school and only college students were allowed to come to prom. But Yaz had been able to make the teachers make an exception just for her. She's not too sure how or why, but she's assuming it's because of THAT incident. After she got the good news, she immediately FaceTimed Sammy and dropped the big question. "Will you be my prom date?". Sammy, not surprisingly, screamed "YES! OF COURSE I WILL!" and here they are. Or, well, here Yaz is. Waiting and waiting for her girlfriend to show up.

Yaz decides to call her, but she doesn't pick up.

"Hm, weird" Yaz mutters to herself. "I'M usually the one who doesn't pick up..."

Right after that, she hears someone giggle behind her. "Hey, Yaz. Having fun talking to yourself?"

Yaz quickly turns around and is too stunned to speak when her eyes meet the beaming light from her prom date.

"Sammy, you're... you're beautiful, y- wha-, wow.". Sammy is wearing a long orange and red dress, and she has a headband that matches her outfit. Yaz studders, but Sammy only smiles and giggles slightly. "Thank you, Yaz. You don't look that bad yourself. One thing is missing though.." She walks up to her girlfriend and kisses her gently on the cheek. "There. Now your fit is complete" She teases.

Yasmina rolls her eyes jokingly and pretends to look offended, she scoffs "So you want me to walk around in school with a kissmark on my cheek now?". Sammy laughs and nudges Yaz with her hip "Ofc! That way everyone will know you're mine..." Yaz laughs at that and stretches out her arm to Sammy. "So...Shall we?". Sammy grabs Yaz's arm and smiles widely "We shall".

When they get inside, they are greeted by loud music and dancing people. They look around to see if they can find someone they know. But that mission failed. Miserably.

The music suddenly changed to a slow and still song. The girls saw everyone grabbing their partners, and started slow dancing with them.

Yaz looked shyly at Sam and rubbed her arm slightly before building up the courage to ask. "Do...Do you wanna dance?"

"I thought you'd never ask! You bet I want!". Sammy exclaimed excitedly.

Yaz stood up from the bench they had found, and held out a hand to her. Sammy grabbed it and they went out to the dance floor.

They stood face to face with eachother, both slightly unsure on what to do, but they took after what the people around them were doing. Yaz placed her hands on Sammy's shoulders while Sammy rested her hands around Yaz's waist. They start dancing slowly and easy. The more seconds passes, the closer to each other they get. Soon, it's only one centimeter between them. Them both smile wildly.

"Best prom night ever" Sammy said before the distance between them closes.

308,253!!! Which is a lot. My goodness.

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Oh, so many. My biggest ones in terms of fic number are dsmp and then atla, although I think the life series is catching up

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

they are all dsmp which makes sense because the fandom is (was?) absolutely forking massive

Not as far as I'm aware. Like I said, small fish.

Gotta go with Zutara for this one. It's definitely one of the ones I've shipped the longest, and a lot of the tropes/characteristics they have are what I find I like in other ships as well

15. What's a WIP you want to finish, but doubt will actually happen?

NGL a lot of my multichap dsmp fics. Some of them I have outlines for, and I feel bad for letting them languish, but I probably won't be back to them any time soon (although idk I've been rereading a lot of my bookmarks lately lol)

16. What are your writing strengths?

I'd probably say character voice? I like to think I'm pretty good at letting the character shine through in dialogue and in narration.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

I don't always do enough description, I think-- I forget that not everyone has the same image in their head as I do.

It can be done well and it can be done poorly, and it's Really Irritating when done poorly.

Hey! Just want to say I'm gonna try get back to writing soon. I just got my first job and somehow that's motivating me to write? Kinda like what happened with the exams, once I have something else to focus on my brain decides to give motivation towards my interests which I haven't touched all summer. (It's either the job or the fact that I just binged Good Omens season 2 and the g/t scene got me thinking about writing again)

I'll try get the next part of 'Part of that World' out soon. In truth I have majority written out but there's a part in it I'm not so sure I like. Only issue is that part is like 1000 words long so I'm not sure I wanna completely take it out. Idk. I might start looking for a beta reader. We shall see!

For now though I just want to say a big thank you for all the support my stories have been getting. It makes me beyond happy to see people enjoying what I have to put out!

I am: doing alright! I injured my wrist/elbow last week so I had to take a break from crocheting and writing but i think im good now to slowly ease back into it! I also might be quitting my job which is scary but i gotta put me first. I'm so lucky to even be able to entertain the thought and thankfully my lovely gf is hella supportive while I navigate this choice! I've been consistently employed since I was like 16/17 so it'll feel weird not doing that (i mean i'd be doing freelance stuff but the uncertainty is new/scary) plus i gotta get the rest of my wisdom teeth out soon and that's money 😩 but I've figured out worse before so I know I can do it! Taking the leap is just scary idk

it's been a little hard to be motivated today, but i've still hit my daily edging. i'm wondering if i should scale it back, tbh, idk though.

anyway, i've had some good tasks i'm very grateful to everyone sending me fun things to do, i've really appreciated being able to ask you all for tasks and then be able to perform them for you! (i've got a task i'll save for tomorrow evening after maid day)

i hope i've been pleasing and useful and good for you all ^^

also, my milking is going well, i'm getting a little more every day. today my inducers went up in dose, so hopefully that'll mean a jump in production too! we shall see ^^
