I think Moonbin's passing hit even harder cause he was loved in the industry and known even by non-Astro fans. His smile was so infectious, so this is even more shocking. When I went to his memorial I saw some members of SVT, definitely Mingyu and DK too, I think. I didn't want to stare too much or anything, but some girls next to us said it was them. I read a few letters, Sua's one was so bittersweet, I hope she gets all the rest and supports she needs and continues her journey by making her brother proud. Shinee (Key especially) and Shawols were so sweet to Arohas, I can tell Kibum was going through it... it was Jjong's birthday recently and then after the news about MB everyone started talking about Jjong... and Hara and Sulli. Wheb are they gonna stop using them?! Moonbin will end up as another "example" of the dark side of kpop too, it's sickening :(

Hi ok I love Dreamcatcher and I wanna get to know them better but??? Idk where to start, I’ve watched most of their MVs but is there stuff like variety appearances I can watch (or just Dreamcatcher content in general)? Do you guys also have tips for telling Sua and Siyeon apart? Sorry if this a lot to ask, I was a casual fan of DC before and just yk what I mean? - 🃏

Hello there! As a Dreamcatcher stan, I do have to say that it is a bit harder to find content on them, but I’m more than happy to help you out with everything I know! Unfortunately since they’re from a small company they don’t have a reality show or anything BUT there is a lot of content! Let’s start with reality shows and other content:

First, on their YouTube channel they have vlog-like videos called Dreamcatcher’s Note. The last one they did was a behind the scenes vlog, but they also have ones where the members are eating, playing around, or just doing things while in their fitting rooms. We also have been getting actual vlogs, like this recent Gahyeon vlog. Most of them have English subs but some don’t. Although they don’t have a playlist for these videos you can find them on the channel or by searching for them on YouTube.

They went on Idol Room with Everglow, you can watch that with subs here.

They’ve been on After School Club a couple times. You can watch those episodes here and here.

They went on Simply Kpop to promote Scream.

They were on Weekly Idol and they didn’t get a ton of screentime but it’s still something

Siyeon went on Weekly Idol again with Heejin from Loona and Kei from Lovelyz, you can watch that here

During You & I era they went on Idol Master

They had a short interview with Idol League, you can watch it here

FactiNStar always has our back when it comes to supporting small groups, so they’ve been on that show multiple times! They have a playlist of every single Dreamcatcher clip here and most of them are subbed.

They had a spot on Naver where they were on the radio and talked about different things, you can watch that with English subs here

I’d recommend taking a look through 7DreamSubs’ YouTube channel as they’ve uploaded a lot of Dreamcatcher content you wouldn’t be able to find with subs anywhere else

They went on GEMS and answered fan questions

There’s another short but cute interview on MOMOPLAY

I’d really recommend checking out Ryu Sera’s (former 9Muses member) videos on Dreamcatcher as well, she became a huge fan through checking them out and it’s so cute! She did an interview with them that you should definitely watch.

Lastly, I’d recommend watching fan content. That’s how I really got to know the girls. I found a really long and helpful guide to Dreamcatcher by KraayJay that would help. Aside from guides, you can find lots of funny videos and clips and fan edits that do help you get to know the girls better.

When it comes to telling Sua and Siyeon apart, I had a lot of trouble with that at first too, especially since they usually have the same hairstyle. My advice is to try and tell them apart when they have different hair colors. Get used to their faces and expressions then, and it’s easier to tell them apart when they have the same hair (although I still get some of their debut photos mixed up). I would say that Sua is the loud one but Siyeon can be pretty loud too. Siyeon I’m pretty sure got lip fillers (and there’s nothing wrong with that) so her lips are a bit plumper than Sua’s but you can’t always tell. Siyeon’s face is a bit more round as well. But they do look a LOT alike in some eras. Another thing you can do is look up Sua and Siyeon moments on YouTube and see if it helps. Sometimes I can learn just by watching a lot of videos and focusing on their faces. It also doesn’t hurt to go through the Dreamcatcher tag. Outside of that, I think it just takes time to tell members apart and it’ll get easier as you watch their content.

I know it can be a little bit overwhelming to learn a new group but I love these girls and all of their content is fun to watch because they’re just so funny and wild. I included a lot of information but I wanted to help as much as I could. I hope this helps you (and anyone else wanting to get into Dreamcatcher)! 💕 - Admin Kiwi

#1 — Neo

This, of course, is adorable. Imagine, after Hakyeon comes back from the military and he has to do his regular idol job again and comes back late and Taekwoon is there, watching the latest Japanese romcom, all soft and comfy. Hakyeon is only human, you see, so of course he would join him and end up resting his head in Taekwoon’s lap.

Pretty please yes. They would have been neighbors for the longest time and might have even crossed paths when coming in and out. And then one day there are alarms starting at like 4am, too late to go back to sleep but too early to actually do anything. The first few times he did not know what woke him up but when he noticed he couldn’t help but inquire his neighbor about it. At 4am, of course, if he’s awake for an alarm he’s awake for socializing. If he did not want visits, he should have not put at alarm in the first place. Taekwoon answering the door with his bed hair and death stare, which Hakyeon understands, and some kind of pointy thing in his hand, which Hakyeon does not understand and now is kind of concerned about.

Taekwoon just wanted to give little Siwol his injection and go back to bed. He does not want to be awake as much as Hakyeon does, but Siwol got sick, you see, and he needs to give him his medicine every 12 hours on the clock and this is the schedule that works best for him. He will cook for Hakyeon for a month after this is over in compensation, he said. He does not know what he is getting into.

#2 — Kenvi

I would not need a fillet for that, it’s just their regular life. Do you remember that day during Chuseok? That day where you spend the holiday with your family? Because I sure do. And let’s not talk about shared clothes or similar tastes or the freaking heart eyes they have for each other.

Again, I am pretty sure this could be very much canon. This is just. Yes. So much.

(Plot twist: What if Jaehwan heard Wonshik’s thoughts? I’ll leave that for you to think about)

#3 — Kenbin

I. Yes. Please. I mean Hakyeon would absolutely get lost and I don’t know if they would get actually lost but imagine that they did. Even better, imagine Jaehwan getting distracted and separating from Hongbin, and Hongbin wandering off without noticing and them being frantic searching for each other without being able to call because there’s no signal in this giant space. Until one staff takes pity on one of them and takes them to lost children and they can call to Jaehwan.

It would not be more than 20 mins, tops, but when Jaehwan tells the story later it sounds like they were there for days on end.

This is just perfect and them and if it has not happened already I would be disappointed. Truly. Them watching movies under the pillow for and napping and not answering their phones while they are in there because fort rules are unbreakable? Hongbin doing that thing with his eyebrow the first time it happens, seeing Jaehwan mid-construction, but admitting the idea is pretty much perfect? *cheff’s kiss*

#4 — Sua/Handong

Why do I love this? I don’t know because I don’t love Sua getting injured. But this? The care for her? Dongie being extra soft when undressing her? The intimacy? Please sign me up.

I AM CRYING WITH THIS BECAUSE. SEE. LISTEN. Dongie is Chinese, right?? What if Bora told her that she loved her, the very first time, in Chinese? If she had known from quite some time but she wanted to get it right. Not this choppy pronunciation but actual good way to say it? Imagine THAT.

#5 — Siyeon/Gahyeon

A classic is a classic for a reason and I would very much love to see this playing for them. Not sure how or why but I know I want it.

This is SO PERFECT IT HURTS. I NEED THIS SO BAD. First, Siyeon fits the aesthetic so much it’s crazy. But then, after she and Gahyeon reunite while being curse, do you think it would matter that she is a god? Gahyeon would have her wrapped around her pinky is SECONDS :________

its wild to me that dreamcatcher is almost 2000 posts higher than the next highest, and more than triple the group in third place lol. i mean i know it makes sense cause you can definitely see that if you scroll my archive but damn thats a huge difference. also everglow is way higher than i thought... thats kinda confusing actually lol... and wjsn too, like, i dont really consider them a group that i’m particularly invested in... i guess the members are just pretty haha, i guess i reblog them a lot.

for the most part though, this is pretty much accurate to my actual top 10 groups. i would take out everglow and wjsn and add in exid (who are a bit below wjsn actually, they’re number 12 on my blog, with only itzy between them and wjsn) and... idk... im not really sure who my tenth favorite group is, maybe it is everglow after all? or maybe it’ll end up being cignature? this list is roughly in a sort of correct order too, which makes sense. weki meki is lower than they should be just because there arent as many posts of them lol, and twice is a bit higher than they should be just because of the sheer amount of posts that there are of them.

dami was my most reblogged for a looong time even before i decided that dc was my number one group, and i remember seeing that jiu had passed dami on my blog, but when the hell did she get to be 200 posts higher than dami lmao? and the only individual idol over 1000 posts? i almost have more jiu on my blog than all of weki meki, oh my god. i cant believe there’s only two groups represented in this top ten though oirjf;egniwerkgege but like i guess that’s why dc and loona’s numbers are so high... gowon is at 350 and that should be higher, she’d definitely be in the top ten, but at one point i switched from tagging her “go won” to just “gowon”, and even though i did use a thing to edit all those tags, the archive only tracks the tags used when something was posted, so if you edit them after the fact, that isnt reflected in the tag list on your archive page. because this is a bad website. that also means a lot of these numbers arent accurate but idk theyre close enough. “go won” does appear on the list too, with 136 posts, meaning i guess gowon’s total should actually be 486, making her the loona member ive reblogged the most, which is accurate lol, that makes sense. she and hyunjin are my biases so that adds up.

but then... the first non-loona and non-dreamcatcher idol is, of course, yoojung at 358 lol, she of course would be as high as jiu if there were as many posts of her lol. as it stands she’s number 11, she might crack into the top 10 one day. other notable numbers are joy at 326, which makes her the highest non-dc non-loona non-yoojung idol on my blog, eyedi at 297 which is surprising cause i didnt even know there are 297 eyedi posts on this website, and then hayoung (fromis 9) at 196 aw man thats sad, she’s wayyy down, there’s a bunch of idols i skipped over just now, but aw she’s one of my ults lol she should be higher :(

so like needless to say, this list doesnt really reflect my top ten biases lmao. i think my top ten would be, in no particular order cause itd take too long to think about rn: yoojung, yoohyeon, jiu, dami, hayoung, gowon, hyunjin, kang mina, and idk... some combination of joyuriz (yuri, yena, chaewon), baek yebin maybe, siyeon maybe, dahyun or nayeon or myoui mina maybe, man idk what my top ten biases actually would be lmao... my point is tho that this isnt represented because it comes down to how many posts there are of them, i guess. with groups it can represent my actual order more because a lot of posts are just generally about a group and i dont tag with the members names, and stuff like that.

idk i just thought this was interesting. i dont pay close attention to this but i check it once in a while cause its just kinda neat

also the highest male idol on my blog is kino at only 94...................................... so................. make of that what you will.........
