2 mins had passed and you finally spot sunghoon making his way through the crowd. for a second, relief washed over you, but it’s quickly replaced by annoyance.

“about time you showed up,” you said, feeling a bit frustrated.

“yeah, yeah.” he responds, uninterested with your anger.

you point at ni-ki, who’s slumped on the couch, mumbling words. sunghoon sighs, walking over to his inebriated friend. he attempts to lift ni-ki on his own, but he finds himself struggling.

“talk about skill issue,” you tease, making him glare at you in response.

“wait here,” he says, heading towards his car.

“where the hell are you going?” you call after him.

a moment later, he returns, holding a pair of familiar shoes. “here. you left these in my car ages ago.”

you stare at the shoes, then back to sunghoon. “why do you still have these?”

“uhh… forgot to throw them out,” sunghoon shrugs nonchalantly.

you roll your eyes but take the shoes, quickly changing out of your heels.

together, you manage to house ni-ki to his feet, slowly making your way out the party. the cool night air is a stark contrast to the humidity of the party inside. the sound of your footsteps echoes softly in the quiet streets. you try to hold ni-ki as steady as you can, but you can only do so much with your height.

‘ni-ki what’s your lock code?” you ask as you approach his and sunghoon’s building.

ni-ki mumbles something incoherently, his head lolling back and forth.

“ni-ki, we need your code.” sunghoon tries, but ni-ki can only let out a bunch of gibberish, eyes half-closed.

“he’s hopeless,” you sigh. “can you let him crash at your place?”

“fine by me,” sunghoon agrees, “if he pukes, you’re cleaning it up.”

“whatever,” too tired to argue further. “i never said i’m going to stay over at your place.” you quietly mutter.

after what feels like eternity, you reach sunghoon’s apartment. you were able to get ni-ki inside and laid him down on the couch, his soft snores filling the room.

sunghoon glances towards your direction, his expression unreadable. “you want me to walk you home?”

“can’t get enough of me huh?” you said, trying to get a reaction out of him.

“you wish.” rolling his eyes. “just don’t want to deal with our friends giving me shit if something bad were to happen to you.”

“just admit it, you’re worried about me.”

“whatever helps you sleep at night.”

“since you offered, then sure. i guess?”

the walk to your apartment was quieter, but still peppered with your usual banter. the city at his hour is so alive, yet so serene.

by the time you reach the entrance to your building, sunghoon does not part ways with you. instead, he follows you to the front of your apartment door. 

“i’ll leave once i see you head inside” sunghoon says

“thanks for walking me,” you say softly, fatigue washing over you. “goodnight, sunghoon.”

The nearly depleted art supplies that sat on his messy desk seemed to mock Y/n as he stared at the several junk emails that were of a similar subject line

“OverAllSeeking: xxxx has liked your profile!”

The app he downloaded was deleted a half hour ago but the emails kept popping up as he hadn’t deleted his account. The account was a sugar babying account, Y/n really needed the money as his supplies were dwindling and his commissions were just not covering it this time. His dual coloured eyes glared at the screen before a click sounded through the room, telling him that he had locked his phone. His mind raced and raced as he thought of what he could do, jobs were too mentally stimulating most of the time and none of the galleries that he was comfortable at were hiring.

Y/n let out a groan as he slid his hands under the sunglasses he wore to rub at his eyes. They were so sore. So were his wrists and his head but he had learnt to cope with it. The male got up from where he sat, placing his phone in his pocket and moved over to the two wide windows that spanned across the walls of his room, his long-line hoodie shifting to cover his hands as he walked. Y/n covered the windows with the specially ordered blackout curtains he ordered and was plummeted into darkness. He then shut his door and hit play on his speaker that sat on a table near the door; gentle melodies of pianos and violins filled his ears and soft pastel pinks and blues flooded his vision, a white dashing in and out as a harp came into the music steadily. 

The male simply stood there in the middle of his room and let the colours and sounds float by as his hands drifted over each of his tattoos on his arms. Y/n needed times like this to calm down, not that his condition helped calm him down. His heart raced as the song changed over to a instrumental of a song called ‘Serendipity’, he became flush and felt a lightness in his head he had become accustom to through the several times he had listened to the song. The slamming of a door caused a harsh red to flash across his vision and made Y/n stumble back into the door behind him, making more reds fly across his vision as he hit the door and then fell to the floor. 

A small voice could be heard swearing down the hallway but Y/n couldn’t hear it as the tears began to flood down his face, all of the realities he had come crashing down at once. A small sob ripped from his chest as he curled himself into a ball, the voice that was once small now on the other side of the door behind him “I’m sorry Y/n I didn’t think you were home” The voice plead through the wood, “I’ll wait for you to calm down and we can play Animal crossing yeah? I also got your favourite for dinner...”

Y/n let the back of his head hit the door, utilising the one knock is yes and two is no system they put in place a while ago. He listened to his housemates foot steps disappear down the hall, his tears slowing significantly. The darkness of the room was comforting but the dull buzz of his phone in his pocket lessening the comfort; he pulled his phone out of his pocket only to be greeted with an email notification. 

‘OverAllSeeking: You have 3 new messages from...’ 

The notification trailed off before Y/n could see who had sent him the messages. It was from the app he had deleted a few hours ago. He didn’t really want to re download the app but the curiosity that pulled at his chest dragged his fingers over his phone in rapid succession, the app now reinstalled. Y/n sat back and watched as his fingers navigated through the app to his messages. There at the top sat a profile with a small tick and ‘V’ logo next to their icon.

These logos had his skin crawling, the tick meant they were verified by the app, a process only limited to the richest of rich members to the site; next to it was a bright red ‘V’, this logo meaning that they were classed as vips, part of the top 1% on the app. What was even more interesting about the account was that their icon featured several men, not just one. ‘Possibly several on one account’ Y/n thought to himself.

Before he could stop himself, his fingers were flying across his screen typing a response to the messages he had barely read, choosing to simply ask if they were still there even though the message was only a couple hours old. Once he hit send, he then proceeded to throw his phone in a random direction knowing it’d land on his bed.

Out of pure embarrassment, Y/n quickly stood, pulled the turtle neck he wore under his hoodie over his lower face and sprinted out of his room.

Hours later, Y/n returned to his room with some help from his housemate considering it was pitch black out and his head was still racing. He took off his sunglasses and peeled his clothing from his body, choosing to put on some grey sweatpants that were covered in dried paint before hopping into bed. It threw him off at first when his hip hit something hard before he remembered chucking his phone on to the bed earlier. He rapidly patted around his hip before his hand landed on his phone, quickly pulling it up to his face after lowering the brightness back down.

There on his screen sat a few notifications, some from twitter and instagram; but more importantly, one from the OverAllSeeking app. With quick navigation, Y/n made his way to the app and could feel his face cracking with a blush. There sat a reply from the account from earlier letting him know all about the account they ran and that all seven- Seven- members were interested in him as he looked interesting and cute. 

He couldn’t stop himself from overheating as he typed out a response. And that was it; this is what began the 5 day long non-stop conversation between him and all seven members. He had told them that he was struggling with finding money for his art supplies to do commissions and that’s when Taehyung, who had told Y/n he was an art curator, interrupted the conversation he was having saying that he would send over 1000 there and then to help him with the supplies. Y/n did say that it was fine but apparently Taehyung only wanted his baby to get the highest quality materials.

Y/n couldn’t lie, it felt nice to have someone just drop money to spend on him so suddenly, so if there were seven of them...

Maybe he really was made to be a sugar baby?

fic i spent the most time on: a song inside the halls of the dark for sure, it’s the first multi chapter I’ve ever done and I’m far enough into it that I will be super honest, I was extremely dubious over whether or not I’d actually see it through when I started but huzzah! It’s happening. But yeah, I spend like, a lot of time thinking about it, writing it (lmao obvs), rewatching clips of the show to pick apart characterization and mannerisms, etc, etc. I try to work on it in some capacity every day (sometimes that just means outlining or deleting chunks of my outline and crying about how much I hate myself) to keep up momentum so yeah, def that one.

As far as one shots go, there’s blood in my body (I’m holding on) for bellarke, I think I spent a month, maybe 6 weeks working on that

fic i spent the least amount of time on: as the world turns, the blunt burns, I was doing my usual lazy Saturday morning scroll through Tumblr before I got out of bed and saw a post like I want beth and mick to get high together (I would love to give credit but I haven’t the foggiest notion who said it, I wasn’t intending to write it so I didn’t pay too much attention, I’m the worst, I’m sorry) and then some dialogue popped into my head maybe 10 min later and I think I wrote the whole thing in like, 45 min on my phone. Cannot emphasize enough how little I thought about it (or proofed it tbh, yikes, so many typos) before posting

favorite fic i wrote: oh man, that’s hard. I love them all for different reasons. Blood was my first ever AU (I am a canon/canon-divergent ho) and it also deals with some stuff that’s important to me so that’s always going to have a special place in my heart. I’ve Got You Here was the first time I tried to tackle something bigger than a missing scene or short one-shot so that’s also significant.

I’m really proud of smoke, fire, it’s all going up because I think I did a p good job with the Rio POV there. I’d give her a HA! And a HI-YA! is special bc it’s my first outside POV and it was based on so little info it was basically OC, so that was a fun challenge.

All of that said, obviously, a song inside the halls in the dark is my fav. It’s been the biggest stretch of my skills (I had NO! IDEA! If I could plot and pace on the level required to sustain the fic I’d originally outlined and it’s only grown from there tbh), it’s also been like, the loveliest experience? I keep saying people’s reaction to it has broken my brain and I’m not actually just saying that. I’m deeply overwhelmed. And last but emphatically not least, it’s how I’ve gotten to know @nickmillerscaulk who, on top of being an incredible editor (seriously y’all, she is Skilled, I’ve learned so much from her), is such an awesome, amazing person and I’m so very glad we’ve become friends.

fic i want to rewrite/expand on: Oh man, idk. Pills N Potions is the easiest because it’s a prompt collection! Send me prompts! I can’t promise I’ll write them right away (my ADHD is so very real and only dubiously under my control during quarantine, so I live in constant terror of losing the thread of song especially this close to the end) but I def want to flex my quick and dirty short fic for funsies skills. I’m super looking forward to @goodgirlsficrecs prompt-a-thon.

40. weirdest thing to ever happen at your school?

really idk i feel like even our schools’s Antics were pretty par for the course and i was just sitting in the corner reading the whole time basically......trying to think if anything wild happened in college but even then it was p similar. well you know what, whatever donors covered the majority of the cost of the school’s black box theater being renovated apparently Stipulated that every other year a rodgers and hammerstein production be put on. absolute freaks. my roommate/friend and their then-boyfriend, the one mormon i have Knowingly Known in my life, were in pirates of penzance (sic?) together. hilarious

1) whom among us doesn’t relate to jared kleinman........will roland emerging from relative obscurity and coming for our entire fucking lives like the goddamn legend he is. it’s tough b/c it’s like, oh well alana is relatable too, so is evan unfortunately sorry evan, and in ways i might ~usually act~ like one of those two more than jared but. no. it is Jared who wins the relatability contest, and we all get to be beautifully haunted by it forever

2) leaning hard into winston even with the few glimpses of him b/c somehow will Cannot play an allistic cishet. and this is even More of a case where maybe i don’t much have winston’s demeanor.......even without winston being a beacon of confidence, he has more confidence lmao. and he has that ability to just Be Himself in a situation which, i wish i had that moxie lmao. i am a lot more [usually trying to be accommodating wayyyy harder than i should], booo......even though he’s clearly not great at conflict considering how it doesn’t take Too much to put him out, it’d be pretty impossible for me to be all “called them hacks and lame” or carry out a very irritated monologue in front of four people in the first place lmao. but who knows. and it’s more in the details of like, oh no winston’s the odd one out even though he hasn’t really Done Anything, but we all ~understand~ why he Deserves it.........his expectation / treating it basically as Fact that he will disappoint people.......the [weird] [offputting] behaviors and his way of speaking in What he Says and How He Says It seeming wrong to people.......like it’s only 15-ish min of content that we have here and we don’t have the least info about will’s own thoughts on the character but it’s like. how is this such an iconic Gay Autistic Quant b/c these vibes are so rare. and i appreciate that he can be ~difficult~ lmao. same with jared though i didn’t mention it. i can be difficult!! love it for us...

3) briony atkins from murder of bindy mackenzie as a character who Does act more like how i Usually Act Like lmao.....god we’re only on three i forgot there was seven of these. and yet i know there’s probably at least 2 dozen characters who could make this list and i just won’t think of most of them unless directly reminded......but anyways yeah i mean in person i mostly do Not want attention unless i feel comfortable enough / in my element or whatever. especially if it’d be some situation like “sitting in a group of randos” lol. i mean it depends b/c i also can sometimes be ~on~ in terms of Masking and trying to be like Haha I’m Social I’m Regular and i def engage in Nervous Chatter sometimes, but like, very often it’s like god don’t talk to me and i don’t want to talk either.....and then yeah people Will be surprised that like, idk, i’m opinionated as shit and idk that i Enjoy Things / Have Thoughts And Feelings coz the assumption i guess is that you must simply have nothing to say. so the dismissal of this person who seemingly has nothing to contribute and must be Boring rings true lmfao.....but then of course it’s also important that her personality Under that is the one getting mistaken for emily’s lol cuz yeah At Heart i am sure of that dramatic / intense / excitable type Sometimes. but it takes some excavation before i am like “oh i can engage in my actual self” and like weeks and months to get comfortable w/ people and i’m always suspicious that anyone actually would enjoy it and i’m not too much......i am a motormouth actually and have something to say about any and everything and like to Have Fun Here but like. idk i come off as boring and can be Notably Quiet lmao

Thoughts on sinner & tat2luv

I’m using this post to keep track of receipts & my personal thoughts on rennis & tat2luv. As new findings seem to come to light regularly, I’ve noted down dates of updates of the post to hopefully keep confusions to a minimum.

I’ll cut to the chase. rennis is nothing but a famewhore, possibly even worse. 

She’s relishing in all this new found fame and passively promoting herself. It is not entirely impossible she is the one or part of the ones who planned this , a few reasons:

1. She is at 90k followers on ig as of 20th sep morning , She’s gained tens & thousands of followers since the incident . She has not once gone private . Wouldn’t a normal person get tired of the attacks, the constant DM’s and want to lay low for a while temporarily? Why hasn’t she gone private ? 

attached is ss of her follower count a few days ago, she was at 66k 

this is ss of her current follower count as of 25th Sep , how fast was the growth! 

I regret not capturing a ss of her follower count when this all started but I think it is clear enough how much clout she’s gotten since

2. She posted on ig tat of sunset in the middle of the mess tagging geoje island . The location was later deleted but why doing so in the first place , right in the middle of the incident ? 

3. In her apology post which she deleted later, she referred to JK as ‘close friend’.  Idk about you but if I were to be close friends with someone like JK , knowing the impact of that knowledge may have on JK I would have said ‘friends’ at the most , saying you are ‘close friends ‘ and being a female, she was baiting for more

Please also pay attention to her last paragraph “ I won’t say anything later “ because I will come back to this

4. On wed 10am 18th sep she updated her facebook page with her number . Why ? Again she’s thriving in this, the business is thriving too. Back to point 1 on why she hasn’t gone private - she clearly has no intention to do so she clearly wants to go as public as possible. She’s provided her phone#, her kakao ID , updated fb, updated ig to be as ‘contactable’ as possible. She must love it when every person who visits next until 2030 she gets to spill tea on her close friendship with Jk for a thorough 3 hours

5. On her ig profile she is tagged in many incident-related posts. Why didn’t she untag herself ? This means when someone who has no prior knowledge of this incident visits her page , they will learn ab the incident . Again she is passively promoting it 

This is a ss of her ‘tagged’ page, you can easily spot the ones where she’s linked to JK. and No she isn’t tagged in thousands of posts so she has time to untag herself off them. The # of posts she is tagged in that’s related to jk are very manageable if she wants to untag herself. So it’s clear she has no plan to untag herself at all.

6. starting from 23rd Sep (note this was just before BTS returned from NZ) , she opened up her ig for comments. She not only liked comments that are supportive, but she also liked comments that insinuates there is more going on between her and jk. see receipts below:

7. She follows a suspicious account on ig @/noor_jimin

1. They certainly are letting rennis do whatever she pleases. And for them of course business is booming

2. They have posts of other celebs on their ig , ie mino . It’s a way of promoting your profile and perfectly normal . Now imagine if/when Jk got his tat done there , the shop asked to get a photo with Jk for that purpose , Jk denied the request ( downy adorable duh) . The follow on question is ‘how do you let people know Jk visits the shop if the usual means is not allowed ‘

3. They recently changed their kakao ID to ‘army3186′ . I don’t have ss of their previous kakao ID but it was not remotely related to army or bts. why the sudden change of ID ? and why the choice of ‘army’? I have to laugh, it is way too obvious. 

These are all I have so far. At this point I have no doubt 

1) the scandal is complete false.  2) tat2luv, rennis are literal human trash who are benefiting from this mess at the expense of jk . they have absolute no regard for him whatsoever  3) army or anyone need to stop considering them as victims , stop licking their boots , stop giving them the attention

📚 How many layers do you typically use?

Depends!! If I’m painting I will keep subjects separated but over all in one piece. For my process, I draw different parts separately and  and keep merging into one. Sometimes I end up with one layer.  If I’m linining, I cant really count. If its a simple piece maybe 25? If its more complex or many characters it can go 100+. For my draws with like 50 characters I draw them all in separate files and combine into one later since its too much data to go in 1 file.

🐻 Your go-to things to draw when you need comfort?

Sui... girls, sailor suits :3c Also I always accidentally just add glasses to any person I’m scratching up.

🎼 Your favorite music to draw to right now?

Really depends on what I’m feeling then, but typically new releases of fav composers or vocaloid songs I find. Currently Kenshi Yonezu (Hachi), Eve, and SAKANAMON. I also always love Nakata Yasutaka.

I feel like I remember being really hype for SOTT video and it just didn't...go anywhere???

i’m so glad you sent this ask because HERE’S WHAT I WOULD HAVE DONE DIFFERENTLY. talk about death below, sorry, please tread carefully! also apologies if the cut doesn’t show on mobile, this is… long. rip.

so sott is pretty much about death (harry has #confirmed as much), and i think that the music video focuses on death by suicide specifically (that’s My Interpretation, and i’ll explain my idea for this mv according to this reading). the mv operates on two pretty straightforward* metaphors: flying as being free (and flying = killing yourself; freeing yourself from the burden of living “down below” on earth, etc.), and then you have dramatic imagery of nature as a direct representation of A Man’s Anguish (aka 10000% European Romanticism. death was a big topic in Romanticism too obvs.) like the landscape is absolutely a character in this mv, too.

(*i want to stress that the idea for the mv to be simple isn’t a bad thing. i would actually make the same decision. i don’t want an elaborate mv, i want my audience to focus on the lyrics and to take them on an Emotional Journey. i want them to ANGST TO THIS.)

a music video is no movie (be it a short or full feature), but the best mvs are stories nonetheless. and with every story it’s good to have some kind of a beginning, the middle, and then the ending. like even simple mvs that feature, idk, people at a party usually have a noticeable narrative structure, too. for example: a girl arrives at a party, a boy notices the girl, tries to hit on her, they get together at the end or not. and, FUN FACT, even most of arthouse films follow the most basic pattern of constructing a narration in a film (except where a ~regular movie would explicitly show on screen something like a character death to milk the shock factor, an arthouse film might have that death happen offscreen and not be acknowledged by other characters for a while, but the death would still happen at the same minute mark as in a ~normal movie; just a simple example), but that’s a digression for another day, maybe.

sott is a long ass song that takes it sweet time to reach its conclusion (aka the bridge + final, most dramatic chorus). meanwhile in the mv, they have harry flying with the first chorus at the 1:20 mark, which leaves the remaining 4 min 20 sec with the “will he, won’t he? (kill himself)” question already answered (yes, he will). the audience already knows the ending. meanwhile the song continues to build up and build up in the background, but the viewers have already seen the big climax – he’s already been sent flying, doesn’t matter that the video cuts back to him back on the ground after that. the audience keeps listening to the song and still waits for something Big to happen because /the music/ urges them to, but they’re left hanging at the visual level.

so what you gotta do is prolong the inevitable + control the pacing. yes, it’s that simple. what i’d do personally is play with the idea of physical movement as a representation of spiritual struggle more? because, again, we don’t have to do anything complicated here. so i’d begin the mv with harry completely immobile, just lying on the ground. wide shots of nature in the beginning, have camera take a moment to find Very Small Harry Among the Big Hills and Tall Grass, etc. then some close ups of his limbs lying completely still before i even have my audience take a first look at his face. and then i’d basically make the “walking” part of the mv longer – i’d even have harry pretend to learn how to walk at first. i’d have him sit on the ground once or twice along the way, because maybe he wants to give up right there and then? then he walks some more. now’s your time to cut to those beautiful shots of nature, too. like that’s your time to show that as a director – because he’s maybe, maybe not about to give up on all of that beauty. you gotta show what exactly he’s leaving behind.

and then you have the moment from the gifset i reblogged earlier – for me it’s one of the two Money Shots™ of this mv, tbh. like it moves me so much, because it feels like a direct, 1:1 translation of that specific moment of struggle where a person is considering: am i killing myself now, am i waiting a while longer? it’s a beautiful shot, his feet touch the ground, then they don’t, and then he’s back at the ground again. he doesn’t do it yet, and the mystery is back, the audience is still left wondering. i’d do that once or twice before he’s finally sent flying for real.

i’d have him flying after the bridge! (and you can do some big, dramatic fall - maybe he’s walked to the edge of a cliff and you except him to jump and fall into the water, but boom, he TAKES OFF instead) aka around the 4:45 mark, and then you still have a FULL minute to play with footage of him under the sky. and i’d focus SOLELY on that for the remaining part of the mv, i wouldn’t need my filler footage of trees or waterfalls anymore. i’d also milk the moment that happens around 5:02 more, have it be 2-3 seconds longer maybe. because that’s my second Money Shot™ of this mv. like not to sound like a cheesy old lady, but that shit is breathtaking, bro. you can’t even see his full face at first, and then he’s looking up with tears in his eyes, but looking so fucking happy? IT WORKS. IT WORKS SO WELL. LIKE GREAT JOB, STYLES, THIS SMALL MOMENT STILL HAS ME MORE SHOOK THAN HIS WHOLE PERFORMANCE IN DUNKIRK TBH. like i get emo deadass everytime i see it.

this is a good moment to mention the sun setting in the background at the end. i love it, i’d’ve played with that imagery of a day ending/light changing in the background more, actually. i love that the day is ending (death, End of Things, etc., another simple but effective metaphor), but he’s so fucking HAPPY. he’s embraced death, he’s found solace in it. he’s leaving his pain behind/on the ground.

i’d COMPLETELY delete that footage of him running across the water, god, it RUINS THE MOOD COMPLETELY. DOESN’T FIT AT ALL. would’ve left the shot of him hovering above the water, maybe, but i’d have the water be still. like have that one bit filmed in a studio or something, i don’t care, i don’t need those helicopter waves? they kind of break the spell a bit.

and…… that’s basically it, i guess? lmao. like i said, i do like the idea behind the mv, i’d just have made it more (imho, at least) effective. like, punch that audience emotionally. yeah, he is dying. have people wait for it, so they can be properly moved when it finally happens. the end.

i did not just turn 19. idk where she got that info from. i’m turning 20 this month. i deactivated bc she was stalking me, and activated again after a day bc i thought she was done, tried to deactivate again and insta wouldn’t let me. she’s made a 5th account to talk to me. i only know she has 5 accounts bc she’s messaged me from all 5. you can find someone’s PUBLIC profiles using a google search and look at their PUBLIC pics. i don’t have any “old pics”. i did a simple google search. google≠ stalking. i only got on tumblr bc i was told she was posting everything ab me. i don’t care about this tea girl. i don’t know her. vanessa posted about tea and i asked for more context, went to sleep, and woke up to 9+ messages. d is my PARTNER. she messaged him a long ass paragraph after i blocked her 2nd account and he responded. last time i checked defending yourself doesn’t mean texting my partner when you don’t get your way. i did not threaten to k her. saying your dad is coming to my address is threatening me tho. also i don’t live anywhere near LA. wish i did tho🤞🏻

Apology / Explanation (Dear fellow K-pop fans Pt 3)

Disclaimer: I’m going to tag some groups, or kpop in general like yk using the tags I usually use. You’ll understand why I hope. This is not a post about any group mentioned. I’m sorry I understand why this annoys people, please skip this whole post if you only wanted group related stuff. 

This is mostly for my followers, but the last part is about kpop and my unpopular opinion about things (hence the title), so if you’d like to read that, I’d love to hear your opinion about it (The beginning to that part will be bold and in italic so it’s easier to find). Then again, please excuse this post, it really rarely happens that I do this. 

Sooo hello there babies. 

I kept saying that I’d post some sort of apology or explanation as to why I didn’t upload regularly or why I was gone for quite some time without saying anything. 

I know a lot of people don’t really care about this too much, but I still felt like I “had” to, because a lot of people submitted things and I never really did anything or like idk there was one request I only wrote quite literally 2 years later. 

So first reason why I was gone: Me. I do tend to procrastinate quite a lot. When this blog was teeny tiny I didn’t write super long things, like I was shocked when I hit the 200 word mark yk. And then I kinda slowly began to get “better”, the stories got longer, I used a bit better language compared to the first tries etc. And as this blog grew, writer’s blog started to kick in more often and it got harder to think of new things. And I’m not saying like... idk I don’t force myself to write and as I often mentioned I do write the things that come to my mind all of a sudden. The first thing I think of while reading a request is usually the plot for the one shot. I rarely sit down and think of a plot, that’s why it feels like I keep repeating a lot of things and since there’s only some groups that I really really watch and listen to all the time, the person to repeat too. Don’t get me wrong, then again, I - for the most part - pick whoever fits in that concept, and knowing only some people, I keep choosing the same ones. Idk how to explain this really but I think this makes more sense: I do know a lot of Idols, but I often only know their names and general stuff about the group and not really how diverse their personalities might be outiside of shows or MV’s. 

I also struggled a bit with balancing school and life. My school luckily was really easy for me in general, but some things threw me of a lot of times. Like I cannot focus whenever I want to, but I kept pushing myself up to a point where I got like upset and mad, because the things I had to know for whatever test wasn’t a lot, but the fact that I couldn’t study when I wanted to was so annoying, so I spent quite a lot of my daytime getting mad about myself, and during night, where I usually write stuff, I studied. (I know I could’ve switched times, like write during the day and study at night, but stupid me thought I could change my brain lol) 

So I tried writing when I had nights of, but that was also kinda forcing myself so I had writer’s block again. Full circle everytime. And I also noticed how “bad” those force-written things where, other than the stuff I genuinely wanted to write. (There are some stories, kpop related and not, that I want to post some days, bt I didn’t want to part those out of the fear I wouldn’t finish them again.) 

Now the thing I didn’t want to mention, but at the same time wanted to write it’s own “dear fellow kpop fans” post about. During the past year, I noticed how I just didn’t fit into that “Kpop fandom” sutff. At least I thought so. That’s why I kinda kept a “healthy” distance to fandoms, I still watched videos and stuff but I didn’t really go deep as I used to. Idk why, it might be because I get older, or because I just don’t understand the obsessive behaviour of some fans. I’m not going to mentioned any age groups bc I’ve “met” super chill 12 year olds and super hyper and in a way annoying 22 year olds, and vice versa.

I just realized as the groups grew and Kpop got known wordwide, fandoms got like really scary. Not just interanationally, but also k-fans. I’m not only talking about online fans, I really mean everything. Following the Idols, leaving them absolutely no space at airports, idk, being mean at fansigns, making fun of their mistakes, yelling at them personally and like bullying them etc. I just didn’t want to... support that? 

And online fanwars jesus, we all like the same thing, we shouldn’t hate on others just bc we like whoever we like honestly. I try to not mention groups and fandoms because, first of all the group can’t do anything about extrem fans, second of all not all fans are the same, so excuse me saying group and fan a shit load of times. And to anyone who thinks I might be talking about specific people, no I’ve seen a lot xD 

I don’t think I need to explain what happens exactly, but those things in general made me step back. I was confused. I didn’t know if I could openly speak about groups and write stories as I wanted because I didn’t know what people would think. And I started to dislike certain groups because of the fans, yk it felt super annyoing to me, but after a while I realized like, it’s no ones fault, I can like them and be in the fandom still. I don’t have to be like the people I see everywhere. 

And there is one thing I will mention. Which you can see in previous posts, I talked about what was happening and giving a little update about myself bla bla, I did tag groups because I mentioned open requests. In that moment I only thought, “my followers, that see the tags, will know which requests are still open” I didn’t tag them for attention or anything. I really just used those tags for the open requests. And like, 10 mins later I get a message, stop tagging them it’s getting annoying, I swear my heart was racing and I felt the need to apologize bc I didn’t want to upset anyone, But as I read and read that message again I thought how am I getting annoying? In three years of me being here I only tagged groups in non-group related stuff when I talked about open requests and unpopular opinions.I did count then and I didn’t even do that 10 times. I hate things like that too you know. I really do because I was looking for stray kids things some time ago and literally only other groups, like 1-2 groups popped up. Stray kids and other tags were used for nothing. I do understand why it’s upsetting but my post was like 5 sentences long and again I tagged them for people to know what was still left unwritten. 

BUUUUT I also know how loving this fandom can be, lke supporting small groups and making friends and helping one and another out. I really love this and made great friends through it. I also love how people pay respect to older artists etc, or being super respectful during december. This does overshadow the bad things, that’s why I’m back fully now. 

I am now back to being a full time fan, of more groups now actually. So I will be back writing things, every now and then until I get myself back up. I will finish open requests, the drabble game and the 60 day special before only writing new things, until then I’ll mix them up.
