and with that i do believe that my run with interstellar in imax has come to an end.
Tumblr media
#check out the stats: 4 shows in 7 days. two shows within less than 24 hours of each other#one show that made me drive three hours through the city I hate to get to the imax#tbf I didn’t know that it was coming to my town because the original weekend it was not here#so I had to make the drive. then! I found out my local imax was going to show it so I went three more times lol#truthfully I feel good about it. I could go again tomorrow night at 10pm but I think while I was watching it today#idk something just came over me and I thought ya know what? this is it. this is my last time seeing it in imax#I came to peace with it and im okay with it. it was beautiful to witness. it really helped when i had contacts in instead of glasses#I think we worked through a lot of feelings while watching these four shows. I think we learned a lot about myself too#definitely found some answers we were looking for. definitely opened up some other wounds too but that’s okay#I got to enjoy movies again and really be immersed in cinema so that was a great experience#plus all of this with a movie I already loved so now! it’s boosted my life exponentially#idk how to make an interstellar url which is why we went with rust but like. dammit I owe you my life interstellar#god what a beautiful film. I’ve seen so many bad takes about it too and it’s not like im blinded by my love for it#that I think the takes are bad. no it’s genuinely shit like ‘oh what do you mean they couldn’t figure out how to grow more than just corn?’#like homie you obviously were not paying attention! the earth is dying! (real) and corn is quite literally the only thing left!!!#they have to leave if humanity is going to survive!!!!#anyway. like I said. beautiful film really enjoyed this past week of getting to see AND experience it.#watching it on blu ray now will never be the same#thank you everyone who followed along on this journey and thank you mr McConaughey for giving me your accent for the week#okay last two things: a) im gonna go back and tag all my stuff so I can look back on this time with joy and whimsy#second: here’s my definitive ranking of my viewings of the movie:#first had to be the first time i saw it. nothing is topping that absolutely nothing. experiencing that for the first time and road tripping?#like come on that’s dedication to the art right there. second would be today. feeling at peace knowing it was going to be my last show#and really getting to soak it all in. absolutely. plus I had contacts in so I could see everything lol.#third was yesterday bc yeah I finally got to see everything (again. finally had contacts in) but the audience did make it a little tough#usually im game for a big movie with an audience but there were too many distractions really pulling me out of the experience#last was probably Friday. even though I was jazzed to see it again bc that was the first show in my town there was a kid vaping two seats#away from me and that gave me a headache. plus I had glasses on so again. can’t see part of it bc the frames of said glasses.#thank you to everyone who followed along on this journey! apparently there is a 30 tag limit so last tag:#shelby watches interstellar

A night at the boardwalk
Platonic Yandere lost boys x reader
Part 2
Notes- Sorry this took so long to write! This fic wasn’t supposed to be that dark but then idk I guess I kind of changed my mind towards the end.
Warnings- Neglectful parenting, (They’re all kind of assholes in this but at least Dwayne and Paul try to be nice)
Tumblr media
You glared down at the sheet in front of you, hoping that the intensity of your gaze would somehow make it disappear altogether. Algebra had always been a weak spot for you, so being given a sheet full of equations to solve by your tutor had been a very unwelcome surprise.
It was hard to even read the numbers under the dim light of the cave, which only added to your growing frustration.
“I’ve been looking for you.”
Your head shot up at the sound of Paul’s voice. Judging by the way his words seemed to almost melt into each other, you came to the conclusion that your father was definitely not sober.
“Hey pa,” You replied as he sat down on the couch beside you.
The man threw his head back with a theatrical groan and rested his arms on the back of the couch.
His eyes remained shut for a moment, before opening and curiously glancing over at you.
“Whatcha got there babe?”
You shrugged, fiddling with the paper absentmindedly.
“School work.”
Paul snorted, “School work! You actually bother with that shit? Y/n you don’t even go to school.”
You rolled your eyes at the comment, “Well yeah. Lindsey set it for me- and besides the others would kill me if I didn’t do it.”
He frowned, “Is she setting you too much work? Cause you know we can find you someone else if-”
“No! No! I like her.” You cut in quickly. Lindsey wasn’t your first tutor. You’d had a few before, but they usually didn’t last long. Each one mysteriously disappearing after a few months.
Since you weren’t enrolled in school, your fathers (well, David and Dwayne) had decided that it was important that you were still somewhat educated, and had taken the responsibility of finding tutors for you.
It was risky of course, having outsiders visit the cave to teach you, so it wasn’t surprising that your fathers were extremely careful about who they picked and what information they gave to them.
Lindsey was the best so far, but she had been teaching you for three months by now. You knew it was only a matter of time until they replaced her.
Paul took the work from you and squinted at it.
“You know how much math I do each day?”
You frowned, “Uh- do you even know how to do math?”
He scrunched the paper into a ball and threw it across the room.
“Nope! And I don’t need to- cause it’s all just dumb made up shit.”
He twisted onto his knees and grabbed you by your shoulders.
“Look babe, you should be enjoying life- not wasting it on algebra.”
You laughed dryly, “I would if David hadn’t grounded me.”
Paul sat back with a defeated look on his face, “Well shit. I forgot about that. Wait- what did you do again?”
“Fuck knows.”
He hummed and lit a spliff.
You debated asking for a smoke, but ultimately decided not to.
“Y’know… I think you’re right about me enjoying life.”
Paul quirked a brow, “Well duh. Im always right.”
“Yeah, so I was thinking maybe you could take me to the boardwalk.”
“Take you to the boardwalk…” He repeated under his breath.
“Yep. David said I can’t go alone, so as long as you’re with me..”
Your dad blinked at you, trying to make sense of what you were saying.
“So.. so.. you’re grounded- or are you not?”
You smiled innocently and shook your head. “Not grounded.”
“And you want me to take you to the boardwalk?”
“Yeah.”
Paul paused for a second, “Sure, that sounds fun.”
You grinned, delighted by how easy it was to get your way.
“Great! I’ll go grab a jacket.”
He nodded slowly, “Ok I’ll uh- I’m getting the keys then.”
You almost tripped in your haste to get to your room. You grabbed a worn leather jacket from your clothes rack before spinning around and running back to Paul.
Unsurprisingly, you got back before he had managed to find the keys to the bike.
“Pa, they’re in that drawer over there.” You said as you entered the main part of the cave, pointing over to a small, wooden chest of drawers.
He frowned, “Coulda sworn I just checked that one…” you heard him mumble to himself as he lumbered over to where you had directed him.
“Ha! You’re right babe- they were here this whole time. That’s weird.”
You smiled impatiently, “Can we go now?”
“You aren’t gonna put on your jacket?”
You glanced down at the leather tucked under your arm, realising you’d forgotten to put it on in your rush.
“Yes- fine! Can we please go now?”
Paul watched as you quickly shoved your arms into the sleeves with barely concealed frustration. Not that he particularly noticed in his impaired state.
“Cmon then.”
He stood up and held out a hand. Usually you would’ve refused, claiming to be too old for that, but you knew better than to test your limits right now. As long as you got out the cave, that was all that mattered.
Paul spoke to you the whole ride. Or at least, you think he did- it was difficult to hear over the rushing wind and snarling engine.
When you eventually reached the boardwalk, it only took around 5 minutes for your father to get distracted.
You noticed them before he did. A rowdy mix of surf nazis and punks, many of them seeming to recognise Paul. They called him over, flashing their alcohol and weed enticingly at him.
He looked at you, torn between his responsibilities as a father and the desire to do whatever the fuck he wanted.
“You stay here, ok? I’ll be five minutes. Don’t go anywhere.”
You nodded obediently, “Don’t worry Pa, you can trust me.”
He ruffled your hair, “I know.”
You stood there for a moment, watching as he eagerly greeted the group. It saddened you slightly, seeing how he’d rather spend the night with them instead of you, but at least it gave you the opportunity to see your friends.
Once you were sure he wasn’t coming back, you began making your way through the busy crowds. The smell of food stalls, and the sound of people chattering excitedly- you loved it. You loved the boardwalk with your whole heart.
“Y/n! Is that you?”
You turned at the sound of your best friend’s voice. She was hanging out with a group of kids you’d never seen before, a surprised look on her face.
You hurried over, greeting her with a hug.
“I’ve missed you Beth,” you said as you pulled out of the embrace. Your friend smiled and gave your hand a warm squeeze.
“Me too- I kinda thought you were grounded.”
“Yeah I was. I managed to convince Paul to take me out.”
Bethany frowned, “Is he the one who taught you to skateboard?”
You were touched by her effort to try and remember the things you had told her about your dads. “No that’s Dwayne. Paul’s the stoner.”
She nodded, “Ah ok, so that means we won’t have to worry about being caught?”
“Unless one of the others shows up we should be fine.”
“Great! Let’s go do something fun then.”
You frowned, glancing over at the other kids she was with, “You’re just gonna leave them?”
Bethany shrugged, “They’re just school friends. I’d rather hang out with you.”
You smiled, “If you’re sure. What kind of fun did you have in mind?”
She shot you a sly grin, “How about we get our ears pierced?”
“Again?”
“Yeah, we can get our seconds done!”
You hesitated, imagining David or Marko’s reaction to another set of piercings.
“Oh cmon, your dads are punks right? Surely they won’t be that pissed off.”
“Yeah but they’re also total hypocrites and control freaks.”
Bethany gave you a pleading look, and you finally gave in.
“Ok ok, let’s go do it.”
She squealed in excitement and grabbed your hand, “We’re gonna look so cool! Have you eaten yet? We can grab some hotdogs or something after!”
You laughed, “I’m starving! We’ve got like no food at home.”
Beth shot you a sympathetic look, “Aw you poor thing. They starvin you again?”
“Yeah but.. not purposely this time,” you shrugged, trying to downplay it.
“Ok, well we’ll get ya something to eat after.”
You nodded, “That’s the place, right?”
She glanced over to the tattoo parlour you were looking at, “Yeah that’s it. I know a guy whose brother works there.”
You hummed as you both reached the door, “Sometimes it feels like you know the whole of Santa Carla.”
Bethany laughed, “You would too if your dads let you go to school.”
You shrugged, “Maybe one day…”
Your conversation seemed to naturally die as you both walked inside.
The guy Bethany knew was nice enough- he gave you both a 50% discount and told you to come back again should you ever want anything else.
You thanked him and left once you were finished, eager to find something to eat.
“You want any mustard on that?”
You quickly shook your head, “Just ketchup’s fine.”
The guy in the van nodded, squirting red sauce onto your hotdog. He handed you the food in exchange for a couple dollars and you walked back over to Bethany.
“You sure you don’t want anything?”
The blonde girl shrugged, “Me and mum ate earlier.”
You nodded and took a large bite out of the hotdog.
Bethany watched you eat. The way you hungrily tore into your food saddened her- she knew you were being mistreated by your parents. She knew that sometimes you’d go days without food. You claimed it was accidental, and that they would never starve you as a form of punishment, but she wasn’t so sure.
“Y’know, you could always move in with us. My mum wouldn’t mind, and my dad… well he’s been gone for a while now. I doubt he’s gonna come back anytime soon.”
You swallowed your food and shook your head, “Beth I couldn’t do that to you. If my dads found out-”
You stopped yourself before you could say it. If your dads found out that you had moved in with your best friend, then she was as good as dead.
You’d seen what they were capable of. Only once, but that was enough to change the way you saw them. They were predators. They fed off people. People like Bethany. People like you.
“I know I just- I just worry about you.”
You smiled, “You shouldn’t, you got your own shit to deal with.”
She laughed humourlessly, “You mean my dad? He’s long gone, Y/n. I don’t need to worry about him anymore.”
You were about to reply, when a familiar voice suddenly caught your attention.
“Two hours Paul! Two fucking hours and you somehow managed to lose her.”
You stopped in your tracks and grabbed Bethany’s hand. She shot you a questioning look, but you offered no explanation.
“Dude I swear I was only gone for like five minutes! I thought I could trust her.”
“She’s thirteen! In what world is a thirteen year old trustworthy?”
Bethany suddenly seemed to catch on. “Shit! Are those your dads?”
You nodded frantically, “Yeah! They uh- they definitely know I’m here so you gotta get outta here now before they see you.”
“You gonna be ok?”
“I’ll be fine- just go ok?”
Your friend reluctantly turned around, sending you a quick goodbye before disappearing into a crowd.
A moment later, David rounded the corner, followed by Dwayne, Paul and Marko.
“Where the fuck have you been?” David demanded, his icy blue eyes staring threateningly at you.
“I was hungry.” You said, meekly holding up the ketchup stained napkin.
Dwayne took a step closer, eyes full of worry, “Paul forgot to feed you?”
You narrowed your eyes, “I can feed myself- there just wasn’t any food.”
David scoffed, “So you snuck out cause you were hungry?”
You frowned, “I didn’t sneak out- Paul took me!”
“Hey! Don’t blame this on Paul. He brought you here as a kind gesture and you fucking ran off!” Marko interjected.
“He went off to get high! How is that my fault?” You could hear how your voice was getting whinier the more you spoke, desperate and full of frustration.
Paul opened his mouth to speak, but David cut him off. “Enough of this. It’s time to go home.”
You bit your tongue to stop yourself from arguing with him, knowing it would only make the situation worse.
Dwayne took your hand and rubbed your knuckles placatingly. “Cmon babe let’s go.”
You nodded wordlessly, allowing him to lead you to where they had parked their bikes.
Dwayne mounted the ride first, before helping you up onto the seat behind. You glanced over and accidentally locked eyes with Paul. He looked slightly apologetic, although it was hard to tell through the darkness.
“Alright let’s go!” David called over the grumble of the engines. You wrapped your arms tightly around Dwayne’s waist as his bike shot forward seconds later.
The cool night air stung your eyes, forcing you to shut them.
Smothered by the howling wind, you could hear laughter and cheering from your fathers. It almost felt like they were taunting you.
They were excited to get back to the cave. Excited to punish you. It made you sick.

(This technically isn’t a part 2 of the first fic because I wasn’t really sure what direction to take that one but I do have a few ideas for this so if anyone’s interested in a part 2 of this or just has any suggestions/requests my asks are open!)

can you do hcs of being chris’ gf and also matt’s and nick’s bff
Tumblr media
— being chris’ girlfriend + matt and nick’s best friend. ⸰ 𖥔 ͙
warnings: fluff, cursing, suggestive, not proofread.
a/n: i love this omg?? keep feeding into my delusions please and thank you.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
— most times, you help them film their videos. you’re not really in them but they all love it when you’re their camera girl.
— when you’re at their house, you have to hang out in chris’ room, otherwise nick and matt are constantly talking to you.
— sometimes you’ll be in the pool with nick and forget your phone around the house, then when chris comes home looking for you, he just finds you out with nick. (“jesus, i thought you got kidnapped or something.” “by your brother, yeah.”)
— movie nights with chris start off normally, just you two cuddling on his bed and watching a random movie you picked out, but somehow nick and matt end up crashing it. chris gets so pissed because they’re interrupting your date but you have to reassure him that it’s fine.
— you’re always in their photo dumps LMFAOO. most of the time, their comments are filled with “spot y/n challenge go.”
— you and chris can’t have a proper date in his house because nick and matt always crash it. so you end up having to hang out at your place or coming up with outside date ideas (museums, picnics, etc.)
— one time you and chris were making out in his room, you were straddling his lap, your arms wrapped around his neck, his hands were on your waist— then suddenly, a loud scream from the door. shit. matt.
— “the door wasn’t even open.” “well it definitely wasn’t shut either, kid.” “shut the fuck up matt.” “dumbass.” “what did you say?”
— sometimes you and chris peacefully fall asleep on call, then you wake up at 3 am because matt stole his phone. he ends up begging you to go to the gas station and get slushies. you do.
— you three have a groupchat LMFAOO chris hates it because matt, nick and you always gang up on him.
— whenever they get in arguments with each other, it’s possibly the worst day of your life. all three of them tell you their side of the argument. (of course you side with your boyfriend, but you appreciate their trust in you LMFAOO.)
— you’ll get calls at midnight from matt asking you to get rid of chris because he’s being extremely annoying. followed up by a call from chris telling you to not listen to matt.
— you go with them on tour obviously. you and chris sleep together despite both of you having your own little bed.
— i feel like chris would be the clingiest boyfriend ever gn, especially if you’re best friends with his brothers LMFAOO.
— you’re always hanging around his house without him even knowing it. this one time he was out for whatever reason and when he came back he found you and matt in the backyard playing pokemon go. safe to say he was confused.
— on a certain occasion, you and chris were baking cookies. after you took them out of the oven, you left them out on the counter to cool down— big mistake. when you came back five minutes later, the cookies were long gone. chris was pissed.
— whenever chris wants to plan some grand gesture or big date, his brothers help him 110%. on one of your anniversaries he filled your room up with balloons and chocolates. like, on an insane level. after the whole celebration you had to call and thank nick and matt for the help.
— despite them denying it, matt and nick think your relationship is so cute. they’re your #1 fans honestly.
— ^ which means they take pictures of you all day every day. chris sends you random ass pictures of you two it’s so funny. (“look at the pic matt took of us lol” “when did he even take that hello????” “idk but we look so cute”)
— chris is head over heels for you and he loves that you have such a good relationship with his brothers. it makes everything a lot easier since you can tag along to trips, tour, and just be with him a lot more.
— whenever chris posts you on social media, he posts the cutest couple pictures. however, the comments always include matt and nick with something along the lines of (“PARENTS” “you’re both disgusting” “get a ROOM”)

needy | jack hughes
Tumblr media
pairing; jh86 x fem!reader
warning(s); fluff, established relationship, idk what else, smidge of angst (?), lowercase intended, not rlly edited.
word count; 1.1k
summary; jack comes home from a five game road trip
Tumblr media
"can you please come to bed?" jack whines from across the hall, interrupting your concentration.
pausing the outline you were currently writing, you let out a deep sigh. "just a few more minutes, j."
you hear stumbling across the floor, and in moments jack is leaning against the doorframe, wrapped in a burrito blanket you got for your birthday last year.
his hair has gotten longer since that last time you’ve seen him, messily resting past his ears and down his neck.
"you said that ten minutes ago."
you look up, and meet jacks pleading gaze. "you look tired, love. why don't you try and get some sleep?"
it was a little after one am, you were growing tired, and you knew he was too.
he rolls his eyes at you. "i miss you. didn't you miss me, when i was gone?"
removing your glasses, you rubbed at your eyes with your palms, trying to rid the looming tiredness.
of course you missed him, you always did, but you had inventory at work on monday and an important deadline coming up, you couldn't just drop everything because he was home. you had a life without him, too.
"of course i missed you, jack. i just need a little bit more time to work without you bothering me every five minutes, please." you knew the moment you said it, that you shouldn't have.
jack's eyes widen momentarily, as if he can't believe the words that just came out of your mouth.
jack is normally needy, roadie's aside. that was actually one of the first things that made you fall in love with him, his constant need to show you how much he valued and cared about you.
your family is emotionally distant, you've only hugged your dad maybe five times in your life, and you don't think you've ever heard him say i love you to your mom.
jack said it everyday, multiple times a day. leaving to go to practice, "i love you". ending every phone call "i love you". you made him dinner, "i love you"
you had yet to say it back to him.
there was a time you wanted to, but then it passed, and now every time you think about saying it, it just feels forced.
jack hasn’t taken offense that you haven’t said it yet, he knows how you are with this sort of thing.
‘whenever your ready’ he says.
"sure, yeah. sorry for bothering you." jack turns on his heels, not giving you a chance to respond.
the door closes quietly, echoing throughout the quiet apartment.
you sit in silence, your brain not quite processing what had just happened.
you figured you might as well finish your work, then call it a night. you plugged your headphones in and chose a random spotify playlist to work to.
it's about two hours later when you finally give in and close your macbook with a curse under your breath.
shutting the lamp off, you make your way to your bedroom, opening to door quietly as you're unsure if jack is awake or not. part of you hopes he is awake, so you can form some sort of apology.
hockey plays quietly on the tv, while jack is laying down, his body turned towards the window, light snores escaping him.
you go to the bathroom and brush your teeth, too tired to bother with your skincare routine tonight.
stripping out of your day clothes, you throw on one of jacks t-shirts that he's left, and join him in bed. you spared one last look at your boyfriend, before turning the tv off.
turning so your back is facing his, you shut your eyes, and try and force yourself to sleep.
after hours of tossing and turning, you glance at the clock to see that only about 45 minutes has passed since you last checked the time.
turning back to jack, you shook his shoulder. "jack.. jack wake up."
groaning, he pushes your hand off him, turning to face you. "what time is it?"
"a little after three."
"oh.. did something happen? are you okay?" he gives you a concerned look, his face illuminated by the small nightlight in the corner.
"no, nothing happened."
his lips part in confusion. "i don't understand."
"fuck i just-i don't want you to be mad at me, okay?!"
jack jumps slightly at your outburst.
"i'm sorry." you add quickly, before he has a chance to speak.
jack avoids your gaze, seemingly unsure of what to say. "it's not-i should've just left you to your work."
you reach out, brushing stray fallen hair out of his eye line. "you know me, you know i'm not good with.. feelings. but im trying, for you. of course i miss you when your gone, maybe too much. that's why i'm always working, i guess. to distract when your not here."
jack watches you intently. the two of you have moved closer now, his hand palming small circles on your thigh.
"it makes it easier, to not have days off when all i can do is think about you."
"you can always facetime me, or text me when im on the road." he says.
"i know, i just-i don't wanna annoy you. and please don't say 'you could never annoy me' because i know that's not true." you tell him.
"i would love to hear more from you when i’m on the road. even if it's a text here and there, it'll be nice to know you're thinking about me."
you nod.
"and if, you start to annoy me, i'll let you know." he finishes.
you crack a smile. "okay."
jack pulls you into his side. "though, you could never annoy me, because i love you."
"me too." you say, out of habit, but you continue. "i love you, too.”
"you love me?" jack asks, his face, a mixture of adoration and awe.
"stop it." you mumble against his chest.
"i knew it." he's teasing.
"only cause' i just told you."
"luke told me."
you whip you head up to look at him. "when?!"
he laughs at your response. "not sure, maybe a few months ago."
your face contorts in confusion, then realization. "i’m never telling luke anything again."
you lay back down, wrapping your arms around him.
"you loooooove me."
"you're gonna sleep outside."
"you can't make someone you love sleep outside!"
mari speaks! emptying my drafts i guess. if this sucks—sorry, i just started seriously writing a few months ago, so any constructive criticism is always appreciated, thanks! 🙂

Disobedience
PAIRINGS: Simon 'Ghost' Riley x F!Reader
SUMMARY: Simon warned you not to go out, but a quick trip to the local pub doesn't seem like a bad idea.
WORD COUNT: 1.1k
TW: angst, comfort. overprotective!simon, reader is careless, pregnancy, established relationship. another part(? idk. poorly edited. mind the english. you know the drill 💗🌝
A/N: heh, so i'm down with —another— cold and I was just drifting off to sleep thanks to the meds when this idea hit me so i had to write it down, wish it was longer though, was planning on adding more angst but if this does well a second part might happen; (simon's still mad at reader🌚). enjoy🍂🌝
Masterlist✨
Tumblr media
"So you did exactly what I specifically told you not to do?" He mutters, pacing back and forth in front of you, who could only stare up at him with wide eyes and parted lips. You had never seen him this mad. Not in the two years of relationship you so carefully built up.
It happened the night before he was supposed to return from deployment.
Simon had been gone for two months to a special operation with the task force or so he had told you. He couldn't disclose much about his work so he gave you little-to-no information regarding his mission and part of you felt relieved, he had said countless of times that there were things that he never wanted you to learn about. So you just did what you knew best: hug him and love him endlessly. And he did the same for you.
God knows Simon Riley loved you.
But going out for a few drinks —although you really didn't have any, thank the tiny human growing inside you— seemed harmless. Catching up with your small group of three friends after not seeing each other for months was something that couldn't kill anyone. And in all honesty you were going crazy. Needed a distraction. Fresh air. Break the routine you had fallen onto.
Simon had been gone for a while, and it's something you accepted when you started dating. So he wasn't the one to blame at all. Just like it wasn't his fault that you blatantly disobeyed him when he had called you through a secure line.
'Listen to me, love.' You could practically hear the worry in his voice. Things have taken a turn, yeah? I need you to stay in. Word's spreading these terrorists are targeting... families. I- I just need you to be safe yeah? Until I get home. It'll take a day tops. We don't wanna risk it. Jus' wait for me, please."
Needless to say that you had agreed at first, and it didn't took much convincing from your friends to drag you out. After all, Simon had made sure that you were off the radar to these terrorist or mercenaries. He put so much care to your safety, little people knew about your existence; so there was no reason to be worried right? A few hours of mingling then you'd go back. it's not like you could stand being out for so long either way.
The small bump on your belly was enough reason to call it a night a few hours into the night. Your pregnancy was still at the point where sleep got the best of you. The emotional outbursts were also not rare. The morning sickness that came with it.
But now under Simon's disapproving eyes you wonder if you had taken the right decision to disregard the order he had given you. All for an innocent reunion with the girls. His big hands are on his hips, staring you down with those brown eyes that you love, just not right now. You wonder if this is what the soldiers under his command feel when they're the subject of his ire. You hold back the tears. Fuck, he's not even being so hard on you, not even raising his voice. He'd never do that to you. Disappointing him is something you are not so proud of now.
"I didn't think it would be that bad." Simon scoffs, pinching the bridge of his nose as an eerie silence settles between the two. "I know it's the dumbest excuse I- it was going to be for a few hours..."
Until he had barged into the pub. His eyes roaming around the establishment until he locked eyes with you, he had relaxed instantly. The deep pit that had set in his stomach when he got home only to be greeted by a deafening silence began to fade. Then anger reared its ugly head when he silently asked —demanded— you to stand up and led the two out of the place. The ride back in complete silence, hands gripping the steering wheel so hard his knuckles turned white. Why couldn't you just obey him for once? It took you hours to completely forget about his warnings. What if they laid hands on you? On his unborn child? Gritting his teeth he had stared forward focusing on anything but the thought of finding your dead body, of him scooping you up all bloodied and unreachable. Gone to somewhere he couldn't follow just yet.
Simon stalks forward sitting down on the coffee table in front of you, wood creaking beneath his weight. He leaned forward, face mere centimeters from yours as his arms rest on his thighs.
"Love." He calls you, and then he softly murmurs your name. "I'm trying to protect you..." he swallows, eyes traveling down to your small bump and then back to you again. "Both of you. If something happened..." Simon's jaw clenched, he doesn't even want to think of the worst scenarios. "We have enemies and i'd never forgive myself..." You stop him, grabbing his gloved hands and squeezing them with yours. The soft touch he had longed for these past months. He absentmindedly caressed your warm skin.
"Nothing's gonna happen, baby." You assured him, he stares intently at your eyes and finds nothing but love.
"Lost people before this way." He breathes out. And you feel like the biggest moron in the world. He's talking about his family. Simon rarely talks about them. "Hell will freeze before I let that happen again." Standing up he follows, arms wrapping around his middle. "Price set up a safe house for us, until things calm down and get the bastards." One of his hands rests on the nape of your neck inhaling the aroma of your shampoo, the other one firmly set on your swollen belly. He's missed this. Just being around you. Feeling you against him.
"You're coming too right? Missed you terribly." He rest his chin on top of your head.
"Don't think I could leave you now even if I had to."
You sigh deeply, placing a kiss on his chest; you wonder if one day the danger will stop. Simon's made many enemies along the years. But his efforts to keep his identity a secret were greater than any threat out there. Now with you and a baby in the way he'd never rest until he was sure no harm will get to you.

I have the creepiest idea If you like idk.
If you've watched Demon Slayer, you might know the kocho shinobu, and whatever I say, she is constantly medicating/poison herself after the death of her older sister so I thought about this so here it goes.
After Shadow was created for Maria,Reader was was created by Professor Gerald, but after Maria's death, they both went into depression, but all she wanted was revenge, she wanted to kill the person..who had planned to kill her she had to kill them..with her own hands or..body..? She had only one idea. She had no choice. She was injecting poison into her own body every day like 37kg could kill which can kill around 1000+ humans if she got shot or killed yk what I mean, and she went on tirelessly. She blocks every emotion away and keeps her smile while her eyes are empty since maria liked her smile she always smiled and blocked all the emotions.
One day she was injecting poison into his body again, but she had promised shadow and sonic were going on a trip together, but while she was injecting the poison, she was constantly crying in pain but she closed her mouth but she fall to the floor (it happens everytime when she does that) the two wondered got worried and opened the door at once, they were shocked and terrified by the sight of their beloved sister lying on the floor with..poison syringe in her hand.
What would they do..? Will she continue until she got revenge or they will stop her? (Song or anything recommend to listen make it more creepy:the lobotomy)
Have a nice day.

NOTE: I love the idea! It’s dark and intense. I haven’t watched Demon Slayer, but I’m definitely up for the challenge. As always, feel free to send as many requests as you’d like! Also, thank you for the song.
SUMMARY: After Maria’s death, all you want is revenge, even if it means destroying yourself with deadly poison. When Shadow and Sonic discover your dangerous secret, they’re determined to stop you before you lose yourself completely.
Tumblr media
You had been created with one purpose—to be a companion for Maria, just like Shadow. The three of you were meant to be family. But when Maria was killed, something inside you broke. The light you once carried, the joy of being by her side, was snuffed out in an instant, leaving you with nothing but an empty shell and a searing hatred.
Maria had always admired your smile, and so you smiled. But that was all it was—an empty expression, masking the gnawing rage that consumed you. You couldn’t simply mourn. You needed revenge. You needed to make them pay.
The poison was your solution. You knew you didn’t have the raw power that Shadow did. You couldn’t fight like Sonic. But you could turn your own body into a weapon—a lethal trap, a ticking time bomb. Every day, you injected more poison into yourself, quietly building up a dose that could kill thousands. If they ever struck you down, it would be their last mistake.
But the poison came at a price. Your body weakened, your muscles ached, and the constant pain was unbearable. Still, you carried on, day after day, injecting the venom into your veins. Each time, you collapsed to the floor, tears streaming down your face, but you kept quiet, biting back the agony. You couldn’t let anyone find out. They wouldn’t understand. This was your burden to bear alone.
You had promised Shadow and Sonic that you would join them for a trip that day. It was supposed to be a rare moment of peace, a break from the constant tension. But as the time to leave drew closer, you found yourself unable to move, paralyzed by the familiar burning sensation coursing through your body.
You were alone in the small, sterile room you’d claimed as your own. The syringe was still clutched in your trembling hand, its needle gleaming in the dim light. Tears blurred your vision as you pressed the plunger, releasing another dose of venom into your veins. The pain hit you immediately—sharp, excruciating, and unrelenting.
You fell to the floor, gasping silently for air. You had no strength left to cry out, so you bit your lip, suppressing the sobs that threatened to escape. You had done this a hundred times, maybe more. But this time, it felt worse. Your body was rejecting it, your heart pounding wildly in your chest, your vision blackening at the edges.
But still, you smiled. The way Maria had always liked.
The syringe in your hand slipped from your grip, clattering onto the cold floor, the faint metallic sound echoing in the room. The venom had done its work, the familiar burn spreading through your veins, a bitter reminder of the choice you made every day.
You promised them you'd go on this trip, promised that things would be normal today. But here you were again, falling into the same cycle, trapped in this twisted routine of self-destruction. The tears rolled down your face, silent as always. The pain was sharp and relentless, but you refused to scream. Maria had loved your smile, after all. She never wanted to see you cry.
Your body gave out beneath you, knees buckling as you crumpled to the floor, limbs heavy, vision blurring. You felt the cold bite of the floor against your skin, but it was distant, far away, like the rest of the world. The only thing that mattered now was the poison in your veins, the growing numbness that followed.
It had always been this way. The agony came first, sharp and violent, and then, slowly, the numbness would set in, blanketing everything in cold indifference. You’d gotten used to it by now—this was your life. Every injection brought you closer to your goal, and each time, you felt a little less alive.
Meanwhile, Shadow and Sonic were waiting for you just outside. Mainly Sonic had been preparing for a small trip, something to help take everyones mind off everything. It wasn’t often you all got to relax, but today was supposed to be different.
“Where is she?” Sonic asked, pacing back and forth. “She said she’d be ready by now, right?”
Shadow, who had been leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, glanced at the door to your room. “She’s probably still getting ready. Give her a minute.”
But Sonic wasn’t convinced. “You sure? I mean, she’s been acting kinda off lately, y’know?”
Shadow’s eyes narrowed. “What do you mean?”
“I don’t know,” Sonic said, frowning. “She’s been… quiet. I mean, more than usual. Like, something’s wrong, but she won’t talk about it. I just get this feeling…”
Shadow’s expression remained impassive, but Sonic’s words struck a chord with him. He had noticed it too. You had been a lot more distant lately, your usual warmth replaced by a cold, almost mechanical detachment. You smiled, but it never reached your eyes. And there were times when Shadow caught you staring off into space, lost in your own thoughts, your expression hollow.
Before Shadow could respond, a loud thud came from inside your room.
Both of them froze.
“What was that?” Sonic asked, his voice suddenly tense.
Shadow was already moving, pushing past Sonic and heading straight for your door. “Something’s wrong.”
He didn’t wait for an answer. Grabbing the handle, he swung the door open with enough force to rattle the frame. The sight that greeted him was worse than anything he had imagined.
You were lying on the floor, motionless, a syringe lying just inches away from your limp hand. Your face was pale, your body trembling as you struggled to breathe. There were tears in your eyes, but your lips were curled into that same, empty smile.
“(Y/N)!” Sonic shouted, rushing to your side. He dropped to his knees beside you, his eyes wide with panic. “What happened?”
Shadow stood frozen in the doorway for a moment, his mind reeling. The sight of the syringe, the state you were in—it all clicked together in an instant, and a cold wave of dread washed over him. His crimson eyes darkened as he stormed forward, kneeling beside you. He grabbed the syringe, inspecting it for a brief moment before realization hit him.
“You’re injecting yourself with poison…” Shadow’s voice was low, dangerous, barely containing his anger. His hand gripped the syringe so tightly, it cracked.
“Why…?” Sonic’s voice was soft now, barely above a whisper. He was still trying to process what he was seeing, his heart pounding in his chest. “(Y/N), why would you…?”
You tried to speak, but the words wouldn’t come. Your body felt like it was shutting down, the poison taking its toll on you. You hadn’t meant for them to find out like this. Not yet. Not until you were ready.
“I… have to…” you rasped, your voice weak and broken. “For Maria…”
Sonic shook his head. “Maria? What are you talking about? This isn’t… this isn’t what Maria would want!"
He looked to Shadow for validation, in which he nodded. "She wouldn’t want you to hurt yourself like this!” Sonic continued.
You coughed, the sound harsh and painful in your throat. “I need to… kill him…”
“Kill who?!” Sonic’s voice was frantic now, desperate. He didn’t understand. He couldn’t understand. “Who are you trying to kill?!”
Shadow already knew. He didn’t need you to explain. His jaw clenched, his hands balling into fists at his sides. “You’re trying to get revenge,” he said, his voice cold and steady. “You’re doing this to yourself to become a weapon. Is that it?”
You didn’t respond. You didn’t need to. The look in your eyes told him everything he needed to know.
Sonic’s gaze darted between you and Shadow, his confusion growing. “Revenge? On who? What’s going on here?”
“It doesn’t matter,” Shadow growled, cutting him off. He looked down at you, his expression hard. “What matters is that she’s killing herself. She’s been poisoning herself to the point of death, and for what? Some misguided sense of revenge?”
Sonic’s face paled as the realization sank in. “No… no, (Y/N), you can’t do this. We can help you. This—this isn’t the way..”
But you weren’t listening. You couldn’t. The poison was numbing everything, your body growing colder by the second. Your vision blurred, and for a moment, you thought you saw Maria standing there in the doorway, smiling at you like she used to.
“I’m… sorry…” you whispered, your voice barely audible. “I… I just want to make things right…”
“You’re not making anything right,” Shadow snapped, grabbing you by the shoulders, shaking you slightly. “You’re throwing your life away! Maria wouldn’t want this—she would never want this!”
Sonic placed his hand on your head, his voice trembling with emotion. “Please, (Y/N)… don’t do this. We can fix this. We can make it better, but you have to stop…”
But the weight of their words was lost on you. All you could think about was Maria—her death, her smile, the way she had been ripped away from you so suddenly. The only thing that had kept you going was the thought of avenging her. And now, they were asking you to let that go.
“I can’t… stop…” you gasped, your body convulsing as another wave of pain hit you. “I can’t…”
Shadow’s grip on you tightened. “You don’t have a choice. You’re not dying. Not like this.”
Without another word, he scooped you up into his arms, carrying you out of the room with Sonic right behind him. His mind raced with a thousand different thoughts, but one thing was clear—he wasn’t going to lose you. Not like he had lost Maria.
Shadow carried you, his mind a whirlwind of chaos. His grip on you was firm, yet gentle, as if he feared that you might slip away entirely. Sonic jogged beside him, his face a mix of concern and urgency, but not the frantic panic he had shown earlier.
Sonic had seen enough crises in his life to know that freaking out wouldn’t help now. Instead, he tried to stay level-headed, even though seeing you in such a fragile state was like a punch to the gut. He was used to quick solutions, running toward danger and fixing things fast, but this wasn’t something he could outrun.
“Shadow, we’ve gotta take her to a hospital!” Sonic said, his voice carrying a sense of urgency but tempered with reason. “She needs real help—this is way beyond us.”
“No.” Shadow’s voice was cold, final. He didn’t even look at Sonic, his focus entirely on you. “We’re not taking her there.”
Sonic skidded to a halt, staring at him. “Are you crazy?! She’s been poisoning herself—she needs to be stabilized!”
Shadow paused, his face unreadable, but his eyes betrayed the deep uncertainty brewing beneath the surface. For the first time in a long while, Shadow didn’t know what to do. It wasn’t the physical state of your body that scared him; it was the complete surrender in your eyes, the look that reminded him of everything he had lost.
“Do you think a hospital can fix this?” Shadow’s voice was low, his gaze dark as he looked down at you. “They can treat her body, but not her mind.”
Sonic’s fists clenched. He wanted to argue, to shout that anything was better than watching you waste away like this, but the hard truth of Shadow’s words sank in. This wasn’t just about treating poison—it was about everything leading up to it. The grief, the pain, the revenge that was eating away at you from the inside.
“So what then?” Sonic asked, his voice quieter now, though still full of determination. “We can’t just sit around and do nothing.”
Shadow’s silence stretched on, and for a moment, Sonic thought that was exactly what he intended. But then, after a long, agonizing pause, Sonic’s eyes lit up with realization.
“Tails,” he said, his voice soft at first, but gaining strength as the idea formed in his mind. “We need to take her to Tails. He’ll know what to do. He’s smart, and he can help without all the questions.”
Shadow blinked, then nodded. Tails was their best bet. The fox was brilliant, and more importantly, he wouldn’t ask too many questions. At least, not the ones that mattered. It wasn’t about explaining everything right now; it was about keeping you alive and giving you a chance to heal—however long that would take.
The trip to Tails’ workshop was tense. Shadow’s usual confidence was fractured, his steps slow and deliberate, as if each one was measured to keep you safe. Sonic tried to keep pace, but his mind was racing. How had things gotten this bad without them noticing? They were supposed to be your friend—supposed to protect you.
When they arrived, Tails was in the middle of fine-tuning one of his gadgets. The moment he saw Sonic and Shadow carrying you, his eyes widened with concern. He didn’t ask any immediate questions, but the sight of you, pale and weak, sent a jolt of worry through him.
“Tails,” Sonic started, his voice unusually serious, “we need your help. She’s… been hurting herself.”
Tails’ eyes flicked to Shadow, searching for confirmation, but Shadow’s face was an unreadable mask. Without another word, Tails motioned for them to bring you inside, setting up his equipment quickly.
“I’ll need to stabilize her first,” Tails said, his voice steady but concerned. “Whatever she’s been using, it’s in her bloodstream. We need to clear it out.”
As Tails worked, Sonic paced restlessly, glancing at you every few seconds. He had questions, but they could wait. Right now, getting you stable was the priority. Shadow stood motionless, his arms crossed, but the tension in his posture was unmistakable. His eyes never left you, and for a moment, Sonic saw something unfamiliar in them—helplessness.
Tails worked quietly, efficiently, using his equipment to begin neutralizing the toxins in your body. Sonic finally spoke after what felt like hours of silence. “Do you think she’ll be okay?”
Tails glanced up briefly, his brow furrowed. “Physically? She’ll recover, but… emotionally? That’s something only time can heal.”
Sonic swallowed hard. “Yeah. I figured.”
Shadow remained silent. He didn’t need to ask about recovery. He knew better than anyone that some wounds never fully healed, especially the ones tied to grief. He had carried Maria’s death with him for years, and no amount of time had ever filled the void she left behind. But unlike you, he didn’t let the death of Maria haunt him anymore. He doesn’t want to be stuck in the past anymore.
As Tails finished the procedure, you began to stir, your eyes slowly opening. You felt heavy, disoriented, but alive. The poison’s hold on you had weakened, but the hollow ache inside remained, deeper than ever.
Sonic was at your side in an instant, his expression filled with relief but tinged with worry. “Hey, you’re awake. How are you feeling?”
You blinked slowly, your mind still clouded by the haze of everything that had happened. “I… don’t know.”
Shadow moved closer, his voice firm but not unkind. “You almost killed yourself.”
Your breath hitched at his blunt words, and for a moment, the weight of what you had done crashed down on you. Tears welled up in your eyes, but you forced them back. Crying wouldn’t bring Maria back. It wouldn’t change anything.
“I had to…” you whispered, your voice shaky. “For Maria…”
Sonic’s face softened, and he knelt beside you, his usual cheerfulness tempered by the seriousness of the situation. “Look, I get it. You miss her. But this? Hurting yourself like this? It’s not right. It won’t change anything.”
You looked away, your heart aching. “I don’t know what else to do. It’s the only way I can make things right.”
Shadow’s voice cut through the silence, dark and full of the same pain you carried. “Revenge won’t bring her back.”
You looked up at him, surprised by the raw emotion in his eyes. Shadow rarely spoke about Maria, but you knew he understood the weight of loss better than anyone. He was living proof of what grief could do to someone, and in that moment, you realized he had never truly healed from it either.
“I know,” you whispered. “But I can’t stop feeling like… like I failed her.”
Sonic placed a hand on your shoulder, his voice softer now. “We’ve all lost people. We’ve all been through stuff that’s hard to move on from. But you have us. We care for you… a lot.”
Shadow didn’t speak, but his silence was telling. He knew the struggle of trying to move on when a part of you was stuck in the past. He wasn’t here to offer easy answers because there weren’t any. Maria’s death had left a scar on him that would never fully heal, and though he had learned to live with it, that part of him was gone forever.
But he was still here. And so were you.
You sat in silence for a long moment, feeling the weight of everything settle in your chest. The grief, the pain, the anger—they were all still there, but for the first time, you realized that maybe you didn’t have to face them alone.
Tails, who had been quietly observing, finally spoke up. “You’re going to need time to heal. And we’ll be here to help you through it.”
You nodded, though you knew healing wouldn’t come easily. The path ahead was uncertain, but you weren’t alone. Sonic’s optimism, Shadow’s quiet strength, and even Tails’ support—it was enough to keep you grounded.
As the hours passed, you realized that your grief for Maria would never fully go away. It would always be a part of you, just as it was a part of Shadow. But you can’t let it consume you. You could heal, slowly, piece by piece, with the support of those around you.
You weren’t sure how long it would take, but you knew now that healing was possible. You had people who cared about you, who wouldn’t let you fall back into the same darkness.
You could learn to live again.

is it too early to love you? - part 5
Tumblr media
(moodboard made by moi)
part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4, part 5, page 6, part 7
summary: reader and spencer build ikea on the floor. they both know there’s something there, but don’t know or won’t say what it is.
a/n: okay… can i just be honest and say idfk what i was doing but i like it??? i feel like my tone while writing this one changed a bit, but idc (i do but idk how to fix it😭) so pls enjoy I ALSO LOVE UR COMMENTS THEY KEEP ME SANE AND MAKE ME SUPER HAPPY
————————————————————————
i went without complete dish sets and whatever else i’d written down that i needed to replace for two weeks. because unfortunately the FBI isn’t like the normal nine-to-five. i had to work through a wall of paperwork, and three cases spread across the country before i was able to step foot in ikea.
i felt bad while looking at and then eventually bringing home various things because i didn’t tell spencer i was going. but i felt like i had to go alone, because it was my apartment and all. and i didn’t want him to feel like he had to look after me.
so now i found myself sitting on the floor in my ‘lazy clothes’ which was just sweatpants and a tank-top, drinking my second glass of wine and blasting some upbeat music with a half assembled tv stand in front of me. i was flipping through the instruction book and sorting out all of the pieces i needed so that it wouldn’t fall apart either on me or in the middle of the night. my healing foot that was completely painless after the glass incident moved along with the rhythm of a song.
my trip to ikea was quite successful. i found some pretty blue dishes and really nice drinking glasses that i’d already washed and put away. they looked better than all the other dishes i’d had before, so maybe james going on a rampage was a really, really awful blessing in disguise.
i still felt bad that i didn’t bring spencer along.
halfway through taking in a mouthful of wine i was brought out of my thoughts by a series of knocks on my front door. i swallowed the wine and walked to the door.
“hey! what’re you doing here?” i swiped a drip of wine from the corner of my smile-curled lips while looking up at spencer.
he studied me before answering, “you weren’t answering your phone.”
i opened my mouth as if to say ‘oh’ while glancing back to my phone as it sat on the counter. “sorry, i had the ringer off. do you wanna come in?” i asked, directing my eyes back to him.
he nodded and i opened the door wider. his face changed as he saw the disarray of my apartment. “you went to ikea without me?” he asked.
i closed my door with a smile. “yeah, this morning. sorry i didn’t call you, i just wanted to go on my own.” i walked past where he was standing beside my dining table to turn down my music slightly prior to sitting back on the floor. “do you want some wine?” i pointed at my almost empty glass.
he shook his head. his eyes slowly looked over all of the things on the floor, and how i had my couch pushed against a wall to make the space seem bigger, and then me. “have you been doing this all day?”
i shook my head, finishing my wine before answering. “no. well… i got up at eight and then came home at noon, struggled to get everything inside for an hour and then went to get food with penelope which meant i got home around six, so no.” the extent of my day tumbled out of my mouth. the recitation was more for me, just backtracking over everything i did just to get the answer right for spencer. “why?” i pushed some hair from my face.
spencer looked at me with an amused smile and came to sit beside me. “you look happy.”
my hand reached for a piece of what was the next step in the instructions on the floor beside me. i worked on the furniture while i replied to spencer. “i always get really excited when i get new furniture.” i quickly followed the rest of the instructions on the page before turning all of my attention to spencer. “what did you get up to today?”
he shrugged. “nothing half as interesting as what you did.” his eyes looked over my face a few times. i gave him a look and silently told him to just tell me. he cleared his throat. “i went to the park and played chess, walked around to a few bookstores, drank six cups of coffee and then came here because you wouldn’t answer my calls.” his body leaned closer to mine as he talked about my unanswered calls.
i giggled. “i already said i’m sorry for that.” my heartbeat sped up at his proximity. it was just the wine… i think. “also, six cups of coffee? on a weekend?”
spencer nodded. “i like coffee.”
“oh, trust me, i know.” i smiled. “are you sure you don’t want some wine?” i asked, slowly getting up to refill my glass. “it’s that kind rossi broke out for us… a while ago.” i wiggled my eyebrows a little, holding the almost half full bottle up for him to see.
he didn’t answer immediately, meaning he was contemplating, before he inevitably nodded.
i smiled and went to grab another glass and fill it up. he joined me in the kitchen, gently taking the glass from me while i poured more for myself. “i’m glad you’re here.” i took a sip.
“are you?” he asked.
i nodded, bumping into his side as a way to tease but i stayed leaning into him. “yeah. your company isn’t too bad.” a smile spread over my lips that i hid with my wine glass.
spencer huffed a short laugh. “do you want help finishing that?” he was referring to the tv stand on the floor.
i stared at it, tilting my head this way and that before i answered, “yeah.”
spencer nodded and we went back to sit on the floor together. with his help we got it done in less time than it took for me to construct the first half. granted, i was doing more dancing and procrastination when it was just me.
after it was done i laid down on the floor, knees up while i stared at the ceiling. my eyes moved to look back at spencer as he smiled down at me. “what?”
“nothing.” he didn’t look away like he usually would. he kept on staring like he did that night i was in his hotel room.
i smiled giddily. “in case you need a picture.” i slid his phone to him in the space between us.
he shook his head. “i have an eidetic memory.”
i propped myself up on my elbows. “i thought that only worked with words.”
it’s works with images too.” spencer told me, reaching out a hand to move a piece of hair out of my face.
i didn’t breathe while he was doing that. i felt his finger tips on my face and it made me feel warm. “how long do you remember stuff for?”
“the specifics kind of fade after a few minutes but i still remember whatever i saw.” his voice grew softer as he spoke.
it got quiet between us again.
i don’t mind the silence. it leaves me with a better ability to focus on his features. like his deep eyes. his brown hair that framed his face perfectly. the blue sweater that just be new.
i looked away in a rush, trying to push the observations out of my head.
i can’t be doing this to myself. why am i not allowing myself to feel for him?
“what’s wrong?”
“nothing i just… i have a lot on my mind.”
“like what?” he was trying to help, so why did i want to push him away right now? i’ve never thought like this before.
i inhaled deeply. “why did you kiss me?” my eyes found his and he looked like a deer in the headlights.
he looked away for a second before looking back. “i’m sorry i did that.”
“i’m not asking for an apology,” i said. “i’m asking why you kissed me.” i wasn’t trying to sound rude or anything other than curious, and yet he seemed like he wanted to cry.
spencer cleared his throat. “i did it because i’ve wanted to for three years… and i knew that if i didn’t do it that night, i wouldn’t have another chance to.”
i want to say that explains the last three years, but i can’t. he was too good at hiding his feelings for me to have even had a hunch about it until four weeks ago.
i didn’t even recognize my own feelings for spencer until four weeks ago… and i’m still not entirely sure what those feelings i have are.
i only nodded and looked away. i sat up all the way and moved to sit criss-cross right against him, leaning into him, head on his shoulder.
i wanted to say something but couldn’t find the words, and spencer was okay with that. he returned the touch with an arm around my back. his hand gently grasped my waist. his head rested on the top of mine.
i closed my eyes. he was really warm. and he was right there. “is it too early to love you?” i breathed. i could barely hear myself. the chances of spencer hearing was slim, but his hand on my waist gave a gentle squeeze.

Okita souji x hajime saitos younger sister reader hcs?
Tumblr media
No title since I have no idea what to call this. I really love this idea and Idk why I never thought of any of the shinsengumi younger sister HCs x Souji Okita. I’d hope people know who Saitou is so I won’t drop a pic since he’s in RoR R10.
Pairings: Okita Souji x Hajime Saitou’s sister!reader
No warnings. Just fluff and cute.
Synopsis: You were just like your brother in similar ways. You took care of everyone from the Shieikan dojo and grew incredibly close to Souji through the years before Hajime had to temporarily leave Edo do to an incident that could’ve costed Kondo’s reputation.
WC: 1363
You practically carried the same personality as the sister of Hajime Saitou. You both were rebellious and playfully mean to the others. You didn’t live at Shieikan dojo but you always came around to check up on Hajime and some of his friends. One in particular took interest in you— Okita Souji. You never judged him for who he was, but instead, you tried your best to look after him like you did with Hajime.
You two used to play around as kids before you introduced your older brother Hajime to him and he became a disciple of Kondo’s dojo.
Souji was kind to you despite you were sometimes a rude brat. You taught him how to tie his hair with rope and dressed him in better clothes. You acted like his caretaker but you were just trying to help a tragic homeless kid that Kondo took in.
Even though his sister abandoned him, he felt like he could always rely on you and Hajime. He trusted you two a lot. He once said Saitou was like a brother to him but he never said what you were to him.
Every time you heard how your brother Hajime got into a fight with other ronin or samurai, you wanted to rip him apart for putting your family’s name and Kondo’s dojo into the ground with the way he acted.
After Hajime was temporarily suspended from Kondo’s dojo for executing the sick kid Tatsunosuke due to his dying wish, you had no idea whether or not you should still go back to Kondo’s dojo.
You decided that it was probably for the best to move on with your life and hope your older brother doesn’t start trouble where ever he was at.
Barely a few weeks had passed and you sighed as the hot day was burning your skin. Summer was not very kind to you. You were helping an older woman who was a shopkeeper named Rumani. She was a good friend of your parents who sold plants, herbs and seeds. “This okay?” You were putting up a sign outside and the woman nodded.
“Take a break for now, you worked too hard today for an old woman like me.” The older lady stepped back inside her shop as you sighed.
You were sweating and wanted to sit down. You spotted a black cat brush against your legs. Huh? You looked around and noticed that the cat belonged to no one and wanted to be petted. “You trust too easily little guy,” you went down to stroke its back.
How long has it been? Three weeks since you saw a cat? Souji’s cats? You missed them as they were cuddly and liked to sleep in your lap. The burning sun would probably give you a heat stroke but you had to soon water the plants outside. Without a doubt, you nearly tripped from exhaustion but someone caught your arm. “You should drink some water instead of giving it to the plants…” the tone of his voice sounded too familiar.
“Souji-san? What are you doing here?” You sat back down. You had no energy to move, he stared at you for a moment but lightly smiled.
“You forgot? The Shieikan dojo isn’t that far from here and I was looking for something before I spotted you,” he says before sitting next to you.
“Looking for something?”
The black cat walked back over to where you were and Souji’s eyes widened. “Sorry if she bothered you, she must've gone on a stroll and found you before I could find her." He was smiling cheekily at how comfortable the cat was around you.
“You can take her back if that’s what you’re here for. And she is no bother to me.” You responded but he also wanted to ask how you’ve been and why you hadn't come visit the Shieikan dojo.
“Why haven’t you visited the dojo lately?” Souji picked up the cat in his arms.
“I don’t know, I was mainly there for Hajime and well… he’s not there anymore. So there’s no point?” You shrugged and Souji had no idea how to register your words. What about him? Did he matter to you? His heart grew more fond of you during the 3 weeks you disappeared.
“You probably should come visit, or maybe I can visit you here instead?” He offered with one of his shy smiles.
“You could just say you want to see me more if that’s what you want.” You crossed your arms and Souji didn’t say anything before walking away.
During the following week, you went to see the Shieikan dojo a few times and the others were actually happy to see you. Hijikata and Yamanami were wondering where you’ve been but it was hard to explain your busy life.
You brought one of the plants from the shop to hang up outside of Kondo’s dojo. It was a nice gift to them for taking care of Hajime when he was still a member of the dojo.
“They look nice,” Souji’s voice spoke from behind as you hung the flower pot up.
You observed him for a minute. You've never seen him wear loose green kimonos before. “Ya, we got too many of them at the shop so I asked if I could gift one for Kondo.” You offered him a small smile.
“It’s nice that you’re doing well after what… happened.” He was referring to Saitou’s actions that could’ve put Kondo on the line from ever becoming a Kenjutsu professor at the military centre.
“I can’t control what he does. Besides, if you want me to take care of you all like before, then I can come by more often.” You chuckled but something you hadn’t notice was Souji’s happy expression when you said that. You had given them a lot of extra vegetables from the shop’s garden when Kondo was struggling to make ends meet with the government as funds were tight.
“You’ve done a lot for us. I should repay you somehow—"
“Repay? No, no it’s okay! I like helping you guys out.” You waved your hand in front of your face. You were merely blushing at how he said that. Repay you? Repay you?! How? You don’t know what you’re feeling but Souji’s presence makes you nervous. He may be the strongest man you’ve ever met, but he was always gentle with you with his words.
Even when you used to order him around, Souji never questioned you and did the things you told him to do when you two were fixing up the old rusty dojo of Kondo’s late adoptive father. You respected the fact that Souji never raised his tone at you or called you names unlike Hijikata or Nagakura has. He was the softest person you’ve met despite your temperament.
“It’s just that… I wanted to experience more of this feeling and take care of you instead.” Silence fell between you two and yet it was obvious that he liked you a lot and you were oblivious the entire time.
One particular memory you could remember is how your older brother got mad at Souji once for saying he would be better at protecting you instead of him. Saitou was overprotective but it was like a jab in the gut. You were practically the only person close to Saitou that was family.
“T— Take care of me?” Your face was red and you had no idea what you were hearing. You were certain you heard that right.
“Kondo-san suggested that it’s a man’s job to take care of their wo—"
“Do you know what— what you’re saying! You’re too damn cute.” You rushed to hug him and you could tell his heart was beating loudly as his head was pressed up against your chest comfortably.
“Your brother won’t try to kill me right? Not like he can anyway,” he asked but you couldn’t quite tell what Saitou would think.
“He would have to deal with it.” You were certain that Souji practically just called you his woman and it melted you on the inside as you’d be safe with none other than him.

It’s been a month since you found yourself in a world very much like the mmorpg game you used to play back when you were on earth. The first week was extremely rough, in the first three days you were in a frenzy trying to get your wearabouts about you. A couple of knights found you and were actually pretty helpful in guiding you to the church where the nuns made sure you were fed and taken care of. On your calmer day you decided you wanted to try something and called out the menu aloud. You almost jumped when the all too familiar screen popped up in front of you, the only thing missing was the option to ‘quit game’. The next chance that you got you asked one of the nuns how you could go about being an adventurer.
Here you were getting the hang of your class, who knew that combat in real life would be harder than it would be in a game. Monsters were actually terrifying and being in the wild sucked but at least you weren’t relying on other people to get by now.
You might have been getting too comfortable though because while taking on a quest to get rid of some monsters terrorizing some local fields you all but reached your limit, you were tired and wounded but the request was done and you just needed to report back to the guild now but you passed out.
You woke with a jolt. You thought the knights found you and took you to the church again but after looking at your surroundings that didn’t seem to be the case since it looked like a quaint cabin. You also noticed you were bandaged up really well. The door creaked open and in came a person you never saw before. “Oh you’re awake! That’s good.” “I’m sorry I didn’t mean to intrude,” you told them. He shook his head, “It’s the least I can do after you helped clear our fields of monsters.” “Ah, I need to report back to the adventurer’s guild.” “You’re not in any condition to move! You need rest.” “I’m okay, I need to collect my money after all.” “Then, let me come with you.” Seeing no harm in that you allowed him to come with you. “I’m Mikha by the way!” The two of you exchange greetings and names. “Wow so you’ve only been an adventurer for a month? What made you want to be one?” “Change of pace I guess.”
After finishing the business at the adventurer's guild you were about to say your goodbyes with Mikha but he invited you to dinner and you couldn’t pass up free food. Back at his home you helped however you could in the kitchen but since everything was so primitive compared to your original world you were slow in learning. Over dinner you two talked about life, his parents died when he was young and he had to learn to take care of the farm from a young age in order to survive. He talked about how nice it was to have dinner with someone after being alone for so long. “Have you never thought about finding a spouse?” You asked. “I have, it’s just so hard when you have to tend the farm all the time.” The night ended with Mikha insisting that you spend the night there, which you agreed to since it’s better than camping out or spending money at an inn again.
A couple more months went by and you basically made yourself at home with Mikha. Even though he insisted that you paid with your company you still gave him money for his hospitality. All seemed to be going well until you informed Mikha that you were leaving this part of the continent to broaden your horizons of the world. “Mikha, are you okay? You dropped your food.” “I- I’m fine, when are you leaving?” “It’s going to take me a month to prepare so I’m not going any time soon.” “I’m going to miss you…” “I’ll miss you too! I’ll definitely try to write to you when I can.” Mikha lost his appetite, he thought everything was going good between the two of you, he thought he could convince you to stop adventuring someday and the two of you would settle down and start a family together. Was this really how it was going to end? No, he won’t allow it.
Your preparations were coming along and you were getting more and more excited about your journey. You couldn’t help but notice that Mikha seemed to have gotten quieter and just overall seemed to be more on edge. When you asked him what was wrong he’d vehemently tell you nothing was wrong.
Finally, the night before your journey arrived and Mihka had prepared more food than usual as a celebratory feast. You two ate and drank to your heart's content and Mihka even seemed like he was back to his cheerful self. After cleaning up, you went to go get a good night's rest but in the middle of the night you felt something burning in your core. You were extremely turned on and it was to a point where it was near uncomfortable. You squeezed your legs together, you tried to breathe it out and you even tried to relieve yourself but nothing was working. You didn’t even notice the knocking on your door until Mikha walked in to ask what was wrong. “Stay away from me!” You warned him, “I’m not in my right mind!” Mikha didn’t listen and because of that you jumped him and used him to your heart's content.
The next morning you were ashamed of yourself, you saw the marks and bruises you gave him from the night before. You were on your knees, crying and sobbing for forgiveness. He seemed like an angel when he pulled you in for a hug and told you everything is going to be okay but you’d need to take responsibility. You kissed your future dreams goodbye and eventually the two of you married and took care of the farm together. Mikha was just glad that you agreed to take responsibility so easily, but in case you ever tried to leave him, he would tell you about the succubus mark that was implanted on the two of you that night meant that no matter who else you decided to be with your lust wouldn’t have been satisfied by anyone except him.

The familiar green bard before you took off his hat with a bow, sending a friendly wave towards the other three in the room, whom were sharing knowing glances. In the many times you recounted your story to them, the green bard remained consistent with each retelling. You spoke of him with the fondest eyes, and the siblings could almost feel the pure love the bard had for you even before meeting him themselves.
In a count of shock, you quietly excused the both of you to the fontainian siblings, before closing the door behind yourself.
The two of you went on an emotional and very much sentimental walk, reminding you of the days you would talk to Venti about your problems and your struggles. About how Diluc’s 180 change in personality once he came back from Snezhnaya was a scary turn of events. About how Kaeya’s icy attitude rivalled his vision, and how much it upset you. About how the knights and maids couldn’t seem to get off your ass, despite your best efforts at politely telling them to fuck off.
You reminisced about your time in Fontaine to the archon, and Venti only nod his head and gave you a smile as he walked alongside you, pretending that he hadn’t snuck into the nation countless times to check in on you. You spoke of your growing relationship with the Fatui member, and how the Hearth children had taken you in as one of their own. How Navia had taken you under her wing and you didn’t spend a cent whenever she was around. How you and the former Hydro Archon were each others comfort buddies whenever bad thoughts came to mind, and how you aided eachother into adapting to the new world around yourselves.
As you recited your amazing time spent in Fontaine, the more and more you realised to yourself that you really didn’t want to go home. In the moment, you wouldn’t have noticed it, but looking back on it, it was clear that was Venti’s intention the entire time. He knew you better than you knew yourself, and he could see the internal debate you had been having with yourself since the incident. And so, giving you the chance to clear your mind if the bad, you had come to the conclusion that you didn’t want to return to Mondstadt anytime soon.
“Mondstadt will always be the home of your birth, however it’s also the nation of Freedom. Freedom to fly wherever you want to go, and wherever you want to build your nest and settle down. No matter how long you stray from Mondstadt, it will always have a home waiting for you.”
Venti’s little speech had you in tears, and he opened up his arms just like all those years ago.
In a world full of uncertainty and the unknown, the arms of an angel would always be there to embrace you.
“At last, we’ve made it back to Fontaine!” Lyney practically combusts. Everyone around could see how dearly he was missing Fontaine, especially his twin sister who heard ALL about it.
“Hey (Y/N), wanna go for a dive later?” Freminet questions out of the blue, and you nod your head. You knew whenever he went into the ocean unexpectedly, in this case the second you got back from a LONG trip, that he had something private he wanted to discuss with you, and so you made sure to never decline.
As the day came to an end, you prepared your diving gear that freminet had ever so graciously bought you for your birthday (yk him being rich and all, fatui money goes hard) and met freminet at the rendezvous.
As he took your hand in his own, he guided into the water as he’d done dozens of times before. The oceans of Fontaine never seized to amaze you. Its gentle touch soothed your skin to the core, and as you descended into the depths of the ocean, Freminet never once let go of the grasp on his fingers.
The two of you enjoyed what the ocean had to offer you. Freminet tended to stick closer to the top of the water when you accompanied him, too paranoid to take you deeper as you weren’t as experienced as he was. Regardless, you continued admiring natures aquatic gifts. You found pearls, danced with domestic blubber beasts, picked flowers and located lost treasures. All the whole, Freminet was yet to let go of your hand, not because he was afraid of you running off, but because he simply refused to let go.
Freminet never wanted to let go of your hand.
Freminet never wanted to let go of you.
The skies soon turned dark, and signs of a storm were appearing, so Freminet was quick to escort you out of the water. What was originally subtle signs of a storm was now a full blown storm, and running back to the gates & all the way back to your home, all the while laughing your asses off, was having you fall further and further in love with every step you ran.
By the time you made it inside, the lighting was begging to strike & you immediately went to lighting a fire in order to help the both of you warm up. Freminet removed his cost he chucked over himself when collecting your left-behind gear, and it suddenly dawns on you how beautiful Freminet was on the outside. You always admired Freminet’s inner beauty, his charming and reserved nature, yet sticking up for himself and his own if needed, but you never really took the time to admire how gorgous he truly was. His hourglsss waist, his long golden hair, his long eyelashes, his slender thighs. His form captured your attention, and it didn’t take long for Freminet to catch your gaze.
“(Y/N), is there something on my face?” Freminet questions,
“Nah, come sit down by the fire, you just be freezing” you murmur out, patting the ground next to you.
The both of you sit in comforting silence, a common occurrence between the two of you. But for the first time, a bubbling urge rose from your stomach.
You wanted his lips.
You knew how he felt, and you had for awhile. Freminet kinda… sucked, at hiding his feelings for you, especially his ruined confession. And so, you decided to take the lead for once.
You slowly grabbed his chin, and his eyes widened in surprise. You slowly took his face in your hand, and tilted your head as you neared his face.
He didn’t take his eyes off you the entire ordeal, and as he closed his eyes, you took it as a sign to finally seal the deal.
You gently pecked his lips. It was somewhat quick and gentle, however when he leaned in and kissed you again, you couldn’t hold back any longer.
Freminet slowly moved into your lap, kissing you not with lust, but with passion. You grasped his slim waist and continued the assault of kisses on his face. The both of you continued your passionate yet loving make out session until you were both out of breath.
As you parted away from eachother, Freminet took your cheeks in his frigid hands and pecked your cheeks, before cuddling into your lap. Leaning against the couch, the both of you held eachother closley, absorbing eachother’s warmth.
“You have no idea how long I’ve waited to do that” Freminet giggles, before cuddling closer into your neck. You sighed gently to yourself, before shaking your head lightly.
The both of you fell asleep embracing eachother that night, and suffered the consequences of not properly washing up after being in the rain. (Lyney fussed over the both of you, cooing at how cute the both of you looked with bright red cheeks and blocked noses. Lynette, ever your saviour, made herbal tea to quench your aching throats.)
A knock was heard at the door of the Winery, and Diluc’s curiosity heightened. First, Kaeya had received a letter in scribbled handwriting to meet at the Dawn Winiry (with a cheeky drawing of a certain musician at the bottom of it), leading Diluc into letting him in. Then, the charming melody of a lyre enveloped the air, which seemingly had no bard tuning it.
Now, a knock at the door?
Kaeya and Diluc looked at eachother, and decided to open the door. After all, the person knocking is either someone else who received a letter or is the mastermind behind this little scandal.
And so, on the count of three, the opened the door.
Three…
Two…
One..
“Hey Diluc, Kaeya. Long time no see, huh?”

THERE'S A THING YOU DO–OR SHE DOES AT LEAST–WHEN SOMETHING'S BEEN OCCUPYING YOUR MIND.
Dad told her once after an argument with a best friend to take a paper and a pen; then, let it out. Fold the paper, lay it in a box, and shelter under your bed.
It’s inherently the same concept as a diary she suppose. Though, somewhat more effective.
Nonetheless, from that first letter a series of what one can only describe as an uncontrolled teenage angst ensemble of love letters emerged over the course of twelve years.
...
There are five of them.
The first one is Lee Jaehyun, a three year older popular student who she had a trivial crush on in middle school (together with everyone else). In all honesty she didn’t know much about him; just that he was cute looking. There’s a sort of emotional torment in recalling her one sided adoration while leaned out the school window to see him play football. Even his name haunts her still in uni as her roommate had a crush on the shining hockey player the entire two semesters.
In short, everyone liked Lee Jaehyun.
Next is Eric Sohn, her childhood friend, the boy next door, her first love? He has many titles she realize. He lived in an impressive house north from hers, one that hosts many parties every time his parents take the trip to their summer resort. At some point, it felt like he knew every kid in town. Luckily for her; Y/n has never been the jealous type. Despite being each other’s ride or die since ten, Y/n has never confessed the secret ways she looked at him back in the sandbox.
Third is Sunwoo–just Sunwoo; she never got his last name–from summer camp who she even (jokingly) got married to. Her first summer at thirteen, away from her parents, with kids her age. When recalling it all back, that summer feels as if taken right out of a movie, and she fell head first, three meters deep with the boy. Sunwoo always stood in the center (bad and good…mostly bad tbh). They got paired up for the kayak; it pissed rained and their coordination couldn’t take them ten meters. But she remembers every word he said as butterfly inducing nonetheless. After that, at night they snuck out of their cabin’s to watch the stars. And when that summer too ended, she swore her heart shattered into million pieces.
The fourth is Lee Juyeon, a boy she had never seen before until his cat got pregnant by her own. Scuba Steve (long story) had been gone for some days until another family came up to their door with him. For half a year, it felt like she saw Lee Juyeon everyday. He was just as enchanted by kittens as her (if not more) and they would visit each other just to cuddle with them. Her teenage heart used to rush with the mere presence of him and they together named all the kittens–until they were sold off. Then they eventually stopped seeing each other. Though he still lurks around as a poet’s ghost around campus (source: Eric).
The last one, Ji Changmin, the son of her mother’s friend. He teached her calculus for a while in high school. To be fully transparent, she didn’t learn much from him that year because all she did was leaning on the kitchen table while adoring him until the rims of his glasses slipped. He always scolded her endearingly when she didn’t listen (which was the majority of the time). Ji Changmin always wore cute polos with neat pants–now when thinking about it, her mother might have approved if they got together. But it’s too late. He went to uni; and simply left her with a newfound thing for glasses (still wearing cute polos in uni).
And that's all five. She sometimes wonders if it was a mere symptom of youth that resulted in those letters. Since uni–outside a campus crush or two-–that compelling yearning for someone has never come back to her.
to be continued

y/ndevils00 heyo! welcome back to my postgame boyfriend show! tonight the njdevils played against the spawns of satan (not trevor)! or.. i mean.. the new york rangers.
we start tonight’s recap off with a very cute picture i got of my boyfriend and his best friend (again; not trevor) talking about how much they love me during warmups!
we also have da sun showing me that the tooth fairy came to visit him awhile ago! i bet he got lots of money for his toofer, however i wouldn’t know because he’s stopped letting me steal his wallet.
our first goal of the night was a tip in by mr. haula at ya! followed up in the same period by a goal from timo time! notice how he made the post this time? that’s because unlike most of these idiots (i’m looking at you, marino 👀), timo takes me seriously!
however, immediately after timo’s goal, haulaback girl was placed in the sin bin for tripping. i was very disappointed and he got a very strict talking to during first intermission and assured me he wouldn’t get another penalty. he lied.
he got a penalty in second period for the exact same reason that he did in the first. i cannot promise i was as nice to him in the second intermission.
we got a few scrums in this game, but my personal favorite one was in third period and ended much too quickly for my liking. BOO, REFS!
and finally, we have some pictures of my gorgeous, talented, sometimes annoying babygirl… my boyfriend!
tagged jackhughes, dawson1417, ehaula, tmeier96, ryangraves27 and vitacz15
dawson1417 y/n, i never LET you steal my wallet. you would take it from my pocket and count my money and then give it back, like a thief that’s really bad at their job
y/ndevils00 i’m just a very curious person! i like to know everyone’s business, all the time. and you never told me to stop 🤷‍♀️
jackhughes if i remember correctly, dawson and i were actually discussing our plans for the off-season
y/ndevils00 you remember incorrectly
jackhughes did you just call me babygirl
y/ndevils00 you’re so babygirl

john.marino97 @/user52 yes!
user52 OH MY GOD JOHN ILY
y/ndevils00 because you’re my bff and i only want the best for you
john.marino97 every day i rethink why i decided to become one of your best friends
y/ndevils00 you love me
trevorzegras did you seriously just specify that you weren’t talking about me when you said spawn of satan?
y/ndevils00 i didn’t want anyone to get confused!

y/ndevils00 wait really???

Golden Mangos
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Aphrodite!Fem!Reader x Travis Stoll
Summary: after a certain incident you can’t help but start liking mangos a bit more, and maybe a certain camper as well.
Contains: fluff, characters can be ooc, usual Stoll sibling antics, some swearing, kind of cringe lines ngl
A/N: I love this small prank the stolls pull on the Aphrodite cabin and it inspired me to write this fic. Hope you guys like it. Reqs are open <3. Also I hate mangos idk what demon possessed to write a character that loves them.
Word Count: 2.5k

If there is one thing your cabin mates knew about you, it is your strong affinity for mangos–or, as Drew likes to call it ‘an extreme obsession’. Another fact was that, for some odd reason, camp didn't have mangos. Well not least you bribed a Dementer kid to grow some or got a Hermes child to bring you one from the outside. Sometimes, you would even go back home during winter break just to be able to enjoy some sweet mangos, even if they weren’t in season. Your dad always spoiled you rotten with everything, from actual mangos to mango lip gloss. So, it came to your sibling's surprise that there you were eating half a mango for breakfast. Lost in your world without a care for the burning eyes watching you.
“How exactly did you get that?” asked Piper, munching on  her bowl of strawberries, “One of the boys from cabin 4” You replied oh so casually.
“Y/N, you can't just use your charmspeak casually,” complained Mitchell. Unlike Piper and Drew, you tended to use your charmspeak for more trivial things. If your mother gave you a gift, it was to be used, and maybe you did use it for small things like getting out of archery or another serving of strawberry shortcake. Maybe it wasn't the best use of such power, but it came in handy, overall being blessed with beauty had its perks.
“It's fine I was just craving some. Plus the Hermes kids haven't made their trip yet, so something had to be done,” you said, cleaning off the dripping juice. It might have been the best mango you have eaten if it weren't for your siblings shooting daggers at you. “Well, at least I'm not using my charmspeak to manipulate a cabin,” you continued.
“It's been months, let it go, please,” said Drew, now getting slightly annoyed by you. But who could blame you? You were slightly annoyed at this conversation yourself. Couldn't a girl enjoy her mango in peace?
“Anyways we have archery practice, so don't charmspeak your way out,” said Piper, looking directly at you.
“Hey, it was like three times, I was tired,” you defended yourself, putting your hands up. Despite the occasional squabbles, you did love all your siblings. Yes, maybe you had petty fights like Valentina stealing Drew's crop top or Mitchell using Noah’s cologne. But nothing extreme. At the end of the day, the power of gossip and love united, making you a happy little family.
So as you all enjoyed your archery class led by Kayla from the Apollo cabin, playfully pointing arrows at each other and cheering Lacy on as she hit a bullseye, you failed (more like didn't expect) to notice two mops of curly brown ran past you, making a beeline for a certain pink cabin tip-toeing in and out, leaving the object in their hands giggling at their prank.
So, as your cabin finished the lesson and made your way for a quick break, you didn't expect to see a golden mango with ‘for the hottest’ written on it.
“Aw, I love it when people leave things for me,” said Drew, picking up said mango ready to add it to her infinite collection of love letters
“Well it doesn't say for who it is,” said Mitchell.
“Maybe it's for me,” said another one of your siblings.
“I'm the hottest I don't know what you're talking about” interjected your sister.
“I was told I rival my mom's beauty,” you added.
“She's OUR mother too,” started Piper.
Your banter slowly turned into actual fighting, screams echoing outside the cabin as glass bottles shattered.
“That was my only bottle left, you bitch” screamed Drew as Valentina threw her perfume to the ground. It didn't stop there, as shoes and  clothes flew out the window, landing in the mud
“Mom gave me that belt, Mitchell,” cried one of your brothers, as said belt was now covered in gross mud, lost forever.
“Oh my gods, why could you cut up my Miu Miu sweater? that was expensive,” you sobbed as one of your sisters started cutting up clothes nearby.
Safe to say, the cabin was no longer the organized place that always got a 5, it looked worse than the Hermes cabin, with tattered clothes mixed with spilled makeup and perfume covering the floor.
“What in gods name is this?” You all looked like deers caught in headlights once Chiron stepped foot in the cabin.
“They started it,” everyone said simultaneously, pointing in different directions.
“Actually, I believe I found the perpetrators outside. Still, kitchen duty for all,” he said, galloping outside as said perpetrators peeked into the cabin
“We did well with this one, Trav,” said conner snickering.
“You'll pay for this Stolls'' screeched Drew. Suddenly, seventeen angry children of Aphrodite ran towards the siblings. Yes they had pulled hair and spills all over their clothes, but they didn't care about appearances at the moment, especially you, who would waste such a good mango just like that, plus you were still mad about your sweater, you had planned on wearing it for the bonfire later.
Fortunately, some form of revenge was taken as pasty white foundation appeared on Travis's face, making him look like a clown, and Connor’s clothes instantly shrunk two sizes smaller. You would say he was rocking the crop top, but it honestly just looked funny.
All of the cabin stood there in a circle, scowls on their faces and some laughing at the sight, as you broke through your teared-up sweater still in hand.
“Nemesis is a bitch I guess” said one of your sisters as you threw your sweater at Travis's face. “You're lucky we’re being nice to both of you,” you said, quickly storming off back to your cabin. Now who was going to clean all of this up?
It took most of the cabin all day until dinner to clean up all the broken glass and fabric left on the floor, as well as clean some of the muddy designer shoes.
“I'm sorry Y/N. I know you loved that sweater,” said your sister. It was more than just an extremely expensive sweater to you, your father had gifted it to you as a birthday present. It wasn't often you got to see him only during winter break on occasion. It was a small piece that tied you back home, and now it was destroyed.
“It's fine. Maybe I could get a new one” you lied through your teeth. Even a new sweater couldn't replace the damage done, and you swore upon your mother and Nemesis that you would get your revenge on the Stolls. Maybe you could make them fall in love with a frog or cause someone to break their heart. Anything at the moment seemed like a better revenge than their permanent makeup and clothing curse placed by your siblings. You were just so mad you couldn’t fathom it all.
It all just got you in a terrible mood. You were sure your anger and bitterness could turn the campfire black. And there you were, getting ready for said campfire with no sweater on, and your favorite mango balm was also a small victim of your sibling's anger. You sat at dinner sulking, not speaking to anyone, trying to eat your mango, thinking it could cheer you up but it didn’t. It just made you angrier at the Stolls, especially Travis with his cheeky smile as you threw him your destroyed sweater. Granted, it might have been the clown makeup, but still.
And you continued to sulk during the campfire, not singing along and sitting slightly apart from your siblings. Most of them had made amends at this point, but you just acted like it. Who could blame you for being petty? It was only justified. You were so entranced in your own emotions that you failed to see the person sitting next to you, yet the small gift placed on your lap didn’t go unnoticed.
“I heard from Gwen about your sweater,” he said, looking down at the floor “I’m sorry about the whole ordeal, really.”
You sighed as you looked towards him “Travis you know I can’t get that makeup off of you,” you said. You were sure whatever this gift was it was probably bribery, and your anger couldn’t let you see past that.
“Maybe you should open it first. I kind of left camp for this and paid for it,” he said, finally looking back at you. You tried your best not to laugh at his face, but he did look ridiculous with the clown makeup.
You opened the gift carefully, revealing a pink sweater almost exactly like the one you lost. You gasped as you looked back at Travis, “I know it’s not Moo Moo.”
“Miu Miu,” you corrected.
“Yeah that. But still I wanted to replace it. I know it doesn’t have the same meaning, I'm sorry, really,” his apology seemed sincere, and you couldn’t dictate lies between his words.
“Thanks, but what about the rest of the things my siblings lost?” You weren’t wrong. If he wanted to apologize, he should’ve been replacing all the things lost in this ‘prank.’
“Well, it’s not like they like mangos,” he said ever so casually, confusing you.
“Excuse me?”
“Yeah, you know there’s only one person in that cabin that likes mangos. It was a golden mango,” he got up and just left, winking at you as you stayed there processing his words. You would’ve laughed at his face, but even with the gods awful makeup, he looked cute, and you could almost feel your heart skip a beat as to what he was insinuating. But still, you didn’t understand what exactly he was trying to tell you. He left you there dumbfounded, trying to understand your feelings at that moment.
Being a daughter of Aphrodite, you could be pretty oblivious when it came to your feelings. You knew instantly if someone had a crush on another person, yet you couldn't understand why your heart beated so fast around the Hermes boy. You chalked it up to the ridiculous makeup he had, considering you found clowns creepy, but it still felt different. Suddenly, you didn't feel like skipping archery class anymore if it meant the Hermes cabin was going to be there, or putting a little bit more effort into your appearance each morning. You even wore your pink sweater religiously, as if it was the only item of clothing you owned.
Your siblings were not as oblivious as you, they knew about the secret glances during breakfast or how your voice went up an octave when you spoke to him. But in true aphrodite cabin style, they watched from afar, seeing a love story form right before their eyes. And it wasn't hard to push you guys together, you seemed to always unconsciously follow him around, excusing it by saying you wanted to be more involved in camp.
“Y/N could you take over arts and crafts for me today? I’m kind of busy with some other things,” asked Mitchell. He was free, but you did need to know that, and being the understanding sister that you were, you agreed. But your dear brother forgot to mention one slight detail: it was all the younger campers, which you couldn't stand sometimes, and that it was an arts and crafts session with the Hermes cabin.
So, it came as a surprise to see a familiar mop of curls sitting at a separate table from the rest of the campers, making his own friendship bracelets. And it seemed to be a surprise to Travis too, fixing his hair and discreetly checking his breath once he caught a glimpse of you.
“I thought Mitchell was helping today,” he said, pulling the chair next to him. You sat down fixing your hair too.
“Actually, he is busy today, so I'm covering,” you explained, avoiding his eyes. His clown makeup long gone, you finally were able to appreciate his blue eyes and elvish features.
“I’m glad you like the sweater,” he said, breaking the silence between you too. You had forgotten you were wearing it; it was muscle memory at this point.
“Yeah, it's nice. Thank you so much,” you said, trying to hide the blush creeping on your face.
“I'm glad you like it. I had to play poker with some of my siblings to buy it,” he said, and as your mouth dropped, Hermes boy’s were known for shoplifting once in a while, and you had assumed that was the case. But with the simple fact he went through all that trouble to get you a sweater made your heart flutter, you couldn't ignore it anymore: you had a crush on Travis Stoll and he had a crush on you.
You kind of knew about the boy's feelings, being one of the many gifts blessed upon you by your mother. Yet for a whole month, you were in denial of your feelings. How could you like someone who played such a prank on you and your siblings? Or who always had a stupid smirk on his face to pair up with his cocky personality? Yet, you couldn't help it, your heart secretly longed for him.
“You didn't have to go through so much trouble for a sweater, you know,” you said, grabbing some thread to make your bracelet.
“I know, but I wanted to make things right,” he said smiling at you.
"You should've replaced Mitchells cologne, aren't you guys friends?” you said, not looking at how his smile slowly faded.
“We are friends, but I wanted to make things right with you,” you couldn't help but smile at his words as butterflies started to form in your stomach.
“Why with me though?” Travis groaned, running his hand over his face. “I thought you were a daughter of Aphrodite” he said, with slight annoyance laced in his words
“I am, but that still doesn't answer my question,” You finally looked up at him holding back from laughing in his face.
“Because you're you, and I… don't you get it Y/N?” he said, stumbling over his words.
“Gods don't make me spell it out, this is so embarrassing,” the young campers long forgotten as they left both of you alone. “I like you. Gods, the mango was meant for you, there's only one person in that cabin that eats mangos like she can't live without them,” he spilled out, feeling a weight lift off his chest
“I knew,” you said. You couldn't help but smile, it was only you ever wanted to hear from him, ever since he sat next you at that campfire.
“You knew!?”
“Trav I can sense when someone has a crush, I just wanted you to say it,” now it was his time to blush at the sound of his name leaving your lips.
“And I guess the feelings are reciprocated” you finished off, looking directly into his eyes.
“So, will you go out on a date with me?” he asked, smiling so wide it hurt his cheeks.
“If there's going to be mangos, then yes I would love to go on a date with you,” you responded. It felt like time stopped, and it was only you and Travis in that moment, looking at each other's eyes stuck in your bubble of love.

Wait omg your Anthony x reader was pure gold. I live for getting caught scenes. But the part with Hawk 🤣
Could you write something with Hawk x Chubby reader where they are dating and he catches Anthony checking out her out?
Tumblr media
(Unedited) ( Possibly part 2? Idk if it fits a part 2 or not)
The pool was packed for it not being summer yet. The whole dojo finally decided to come together once again and go to the pool. No karate war going on meant actually getting to have fun at the pool for once. Everyone loved the idea of going to the pool on the weekend to hang out and have some good old fun on a hot cali day.
Hawk picked up his girlfriend in his car and they headed towards the pool.
Reader couldn’t help but giggle as she pulled her bag into her lap in the passenger side seat. Her face was beaming with a smile on her lips. Hawk raised a brow as he watched the road infront of them.
“I am so excited! I bought a new bathing suit just for today. When I found out we got invited to go to the pool I couldn’t help but get a brand new one. I haven’t bought a new one since last summer.”
Hawk hummed at her words, he was happy to see her so excited about a simple outing to the pool.
“ Should I ask about this new bathing suit or should I just wait and be surprised?”
“Well I would hope your surprised about it! But I think you have already seen it. It was something I tried on at the mall a couple weeks back, when you, me and Miguel where hanging out? We meet him in the food court for lunch.”
Honestly, Hawk didn’t remember that trip to much. He mostly just remembered meeting Miguel for lunch. He bought them all ice cream at the small place in the food court.
Also the fact that right after him and Reader left, they fucked in the back of the car in the mall parking lot. It was super clear in his head because he had actually ripped her panties and he promised to buy her a new set the next time they went to the mall again. It was a fun time.
“I’m just going to wait and see, I get to see you all wet this time.”
Reader huffed and punched him in the shoulder making him grin and scoff.
When they finally made it to the pool Hawk parked his car and the two teens got out. He hugged Reader close as they walked up to the entrance where they met Miguel,Sam,Moon and Demetri who where hanging around out front. All of the still had their normal clothes on. Once Moon and Sam got a look at the two they practically ripped Reader away from Hawk. Reader waved to her boyfriend before she was pulled in by the two girls and dragged to the changing rooms and bathroom’s. Sam spoke up first talking about how excited she was to finally get to go swimming again. Moon talked about how her mom gifted her a new bathing suit, a skimpy bikini set that matched her eyes. At least that’s what her mom said.
Going into one of the stalls Reader changed into her new bikini set.
Tumblr media
Reader slowly opened her stall door and came out. Sam and Moon where already done getting into their swim suits and stood outside her stall. They both gasped at her, for a minute Reader wanted to hide thinking maybe her bikini didn’t actually look as cute as she though. Her hand and arms tried to cover her self before the other two girls where borderline jumpy on her. Her eyes widened as Moon squealed.
“Omg your outfit is so cute! Did you get it at the mall??? I want to get one too.”
“Reader you look so cute in that bikini. It suites you perfectly.”
Readers cheeks felt hot as she uncovered her self again. She nodded and they talked for a moment about her bikini.
The three girls headed back out and into the main part of the pool area. They quickly spotted some of the boys. Robby and Demetri where already in the water with Tory throwing a ball around and swimming. Miguel and Hawk sat on the sidelines, most likely trying to protect their seats. The park was pretty busy now. Hawk pulled his shades down as the girls came into the picture. His eyes scanning over Reader as she moved though the small crowed of people and into his view. He watched as her thighs and belly jiggled with every step and the way her breasts moved up and down. The fact that her tits where still in the top was amazing to him.
She looked fucking hot.
As she got closer she smiled and waved at the two boys. Miguel gave a small wave as he pointed to a few empty seats beside them. All three girls finally got over to the boys and sat down. Reader made a beeline to the seat next to Hawk, he smirked as she sat down, his eyes following the swell of her ass as she sat down next to him. She dropped her bag between the two chairs and sighed. Hawk leaned over and gave her a small kiss and she gladly accepted. The two pulled apart and Hawk put his sunglasses back up.
Reader looked around for a minute before reaching for her bag and unzipping it. Her hands searched around for a good minute or two before she realized what she forgot. She felt bad for asking.
“Babe can you go check your car for me? I think I left my sunscreen in the car. I don’t want any of us burning under this sun. Especially you, one sun burn and your out of commission hun.” Hawk fake grunted and mumbled about going to grab it from the car for her. She gave a small “thank you Hawk~” as he left in search of the forgotten sunscreen. With him gone she turned over and looked to her friends to talk to while he was gone.
A thick mop of black hair moved though the crowed and caught her eye.
“Is it bad that I forgot Anthony was coming? Poor guy I completely forgot about him.”
“I’m his sister and sometimes I forget him too, don’t feel to bad.”
The younger boy stud by the pool for a few minutes as they talked. Reader looked over at him a few times to make sure he was ok, he seemed to be staring at something over by them. She shrugged it off and kept talking to her friends. She didn’t think about it again until she looked over and in a split second saw Anthony being shoved into the pool by some random kid. Reader couldn’t help but get up and run over to pool to see if he was alright. He hit the water hard and splashed right into the deep end. Reader quickly grabbed the boy from the water and help him haul himself up and out of the water. He coughed and spit up a bit of water as he gasped for air.
“Oh my god Anthony are you ok?! Did you hit your head when you fell in? Come on let’s get you dried off.”
She pulled the teen to his feet and lead him over to where she was sitting originally. Sam looked over and rolled her eyes before going back to sunbathing.
Anthony sat down on the pool chair, completely drenched in water. He basically looked like a wet cat. His eyes where a bit glazed over and his breath a little messed up from all the water he just inhaled. But his eyes where still working.
That’s how he got a eye full of Readers ass that was basically out for show as she searched around in her bag for a extra towel. He couldn’t stop himself from watching as she jiggled with each movement. Bent over right in front of him. He gulped as she turned around with a fresh clean towel in her hands.
“Good thing I pack extra. Let’s get you dry. Let’s hope you didn’t get to much water in your ears, nasty ear infection that would be.” She smiled as she throw the dry towel on his head and started drying his hair and face.
Then his eyes where planted on her huge tits that where right in his face. Every time she shook his head she was jiggling them right into his face. If he moved even a inch he would be right in between them. His face planted right into her pillowy cleavage. She could basically smother him. His eyes where wide as he watched them move.
That was until she stopped and big hands slammed down on his shoulder making him jump a little in the chair.
Man hands.
“Don’t worry Princess I got him. I’ll help him dry off and keep a eye on him. Don’t want him walking around with a concussion or anything. Here’s that sunscreen, found it on the floor bored. Maybe you should go see if Sam needs some while I take care of Anthony here.” He slapped his hands down hard on Anthony’s shoulders twice. Reader smiled and nodded before walking over to Sam and offering her some of the sunscreen.
“I’m feeling nice today kid, stop looking at my girlfriends tits and ass or I’ll break your scrawny little knees worse then I broke Demetri’s arm. Clearly we have some things in common and I might just be willing to give you some tips on how to score.”
Anthony looked up at Hawk and nodded.
“ I uhh could do that. What’s your advice?”

Back in 2007 or so, I went on a three-day cross-country road trip with my dad, and I was still at the age where I thought McDonalds was the best thing ever. So near the end of the first day of driving, we stopped at one for dinner. This was one of the ones too small to have one of those giant tube-y play areas, which was fine by me because I was outgrowing those, but to make up for that, it had a tiny little arcade alcove with like, a claw machine and a bootleg game cabinet built around a playstation (2?), and some other thing I don't remember. And on the playstation arcade cabinet, they had Sonic Heroes.
I remember watching the opening cinematics with no context for any of the characters, but I thought Team Dark looked cool, and the theme song got stuck in my head. And then I sucked horribly at the first level and didn't get very far before Pop finished eating and we had to leave again anyway.
I then sang the "Saaanic Heeeroes, Saaanic Heeeroes!!!" badly for the next hour or so, I think? Or some stretch of time before Pop thought to put on his own music to spare his sanity lol.
Near the start of the second day, we stopped in another town for gas and snacks, and Pop evidently remembered that, because he came back out also carrying a couple of Sonic books he had spotted in there by chance. They were extremely thin-spined, you know the old kids' pulp press type of thing, and apparently based off of a tv show called Sonic X. And like, from the middle of the show so I had a ton of missing context and a bunch of unfamiliar characters to try and follow, but it was still fun to read despite the brevity. I now remember exactly jack and squat about what was in them besides being confused by Cream and Cheese, and I'm sure they've long disappeared to the ravages of time.
It's just funny in hindsight that those random bits were probably my first real exposure to Sonic. I'm sure I knew about it beforehand, but nothing that sticks out in my head the same way.
Anyway um, idk how to conclude this, so...
SAAANIC HEEEROES, SAAANIC HEEEROES!!!
