How do you pick colors? Do you have any tips for it, especially when making more complicated artworks with a lot of different colors?

Tysm for asking ! I'll use my recent art to show a little bit behind my process so its easier :3 note that I use Photoshop (I know, I hate it too but atp I'm already way too comfortable with it to change into a better software like CSP or something). Click on read more for the step by steps !

I usually put a base color underneath just to get the whole vibe of the drawing together and so it's coherent. It can be any color honestly but I like working with blue/orange/red the most depending on what I want,,, (photoshop also has a color changing feature so I can always change it midway).

I lay down all the base colors next, the brush I use to base color typically has pressure sensitivity that makes it transparent depending on how hard you press (???) i dont really know what to call this feature but that!!

I lay down base color lightly just to show a little bit of the base color underneath and join the entire thing together (everything is a bit opaquer in this particular piece cuz i wanted to rlly separate all the elements, Im usually much softer w it)

after i got the base colors down, I use blending mode layers like overlay, multiply, color dodge/add, etc to get down the lighting and stuff :3 I just love blending modes in general and use it a whole lot lol

after i get all that down, I start shading and adding details to things ,,, I use a soft/light pressure sensitive brushes to get main shading down and some lasso tool + airbrush aswell in certain areas,, Then i use a more hard/opaque brush to get details like doing cleanup and highlights. I normally do more on shading & rendering but I didn't do much on this particular piece cuz I couldnt be bothered lol, I won't really go down too much on my rendering process cuz this one don't rlly represent it well

My favorite part is to bring the piece together using adjustment layers :3 idk if other software/app provide this feature (tbh they probably do), but I love messing around with color balance, hue & saturation, levels, of the sort

Phantasmagoria DR: my main fame dr where i’m the lead singer in a band called Phantasmagoria w my friends. We’re like, really famous. Like more famous than Taylor Swift famous. And I go on to become a really famous writer/director as well. This is the dr i think about all the time, i fucking rule guys. NO BAD SONGS. NO CONTROVERSIES. ONLY GOOD VIBES AND GREAT MUSIC. ofc i’m an EGOT and pretty much revitalize the film industry single handedly. 😋😘

Heartstopper Cast DR: i’m a part of the cast of Heartstopper (an OC named Vivienne Green - Harry’s sister - who’s besties with the group, helps Elle when she transfers school, and is Pansexual and eventually gets in a polycule). I’m honestly so cool in this one. I have my SHIT together at 19, like, it’s crazy. I’m dating Kit Connor cuz why not, and I eventually become one of the best actors of my generation no biggie 🤷🏻‍♀️

Harry DR 1: yes, I have more than one dr where i’m dating harry styles, who can blame me. I’m a songwriter that met Harry in his 1D days and became one of the band’s main songwriters. I really only wanted to go here bc I noticed how many tattoos he had of peoples names and i thought, hey, what if those were his kids’ names that he has tattooed on him and no one knows? like, why not? so this is a purely self-indulgent dr where I’m just living the domestic life with Harry Styles and our brood of children. this may or may not have been influenced by a fanfiction series i read

Hozier DR: in this one, I’m Mr. Andrew Hozier-Byrne’s girlfriend who lives with him in the Irish countryside. I’m a seamstress who has my own clothing brand. Think dresses to run through a field of flowers in, or to slowly decompose in a lake littered with petals yk? I end up making the dresses for the Folklore stretch of the Era’s tour. not to brag or anything hehe

MGG DR: I’m dating the one, the only, Matthew Gray Gubler. I just thought it would be really funny and interesting to go to a reality where him and I are pretty much polar opposites. I’m an ex-ballerina who still practices, so I have that grace and elegance around me. I love to dress in dark neutrals all year round. For my job, I’m a famous published horror author. I have an rbf and a WRY sense of humor. Literally black cat aesthetic to the max. And then there’s Matthew who’s a ball of sunshine compressed into colorful grandpa clothes. honestly i love this one

Tom Holland DR: okay so this one is from my Spider-Man phase. But i actually love it so much. I play Felicia Hardy in the Spider-Man films, who is as much of a love interest as MJ in this reality. Tom and I actually grew up together since I would always vacation at my aunt’s house in the UK who was also neighbors to the Hollands. We’ve always ‘hated’ each other growing up (when really we were closer to each other than anyone else) and so when we started working together on the Spider-Man movies, all those underlying feelings started coming to the surface

The Joes DR: Okay, so. In this one, I play Chrissy Cunningham in Stranger Things. Her character is actually a lot different than in this reality where she’s actually secretly dating Eddie Munson behind Jason’s back. She doesn’t die, her friend Angie does, so Eddie and Chrissy join the party to save the world n stuff. Basically, Joe Quinn (his name is Thomas in this reality) and I got really close on set and are rly flirty hehe. And, to make it even better, we ALSO have a thing with Joe Keery as well (hence the name change to make my life easier). So we’re all a budding throuple and we kinda try to sneak that dynamic into the show hehe. note: certain actors aren’t poopy people in this reality and don’t support genocide 🙄) 

Hogwarts DRs:

Draco DR: this was my first ever dr! draco tok got me into shifting. I’m a gryffindor who’s friends w the golden trio. I transferred into Hogwarts in 4th year and pretty much just am there for the ride as the canon happens. I’m in a secret relationship w Draco (shocking ik) and he’s actually not a bad person. i obvi scripted out the supremist in him guys, dw. i actually have so much detail about all the ways we meet up behind everyone’s back and stuff. you never forget your first guys 🩷

Tom Riddle DR: AGAIN. BEAR WITH ME. ITS NOT BAD. basically Hogwarts is more of an elite rich kid college for wizards than a high school type place. BLOOD SUPREMACY DOESNT EXIST. But there is a whole powerful family hierarchy. kind of like a mob family thing??Instead of Slytherins being the ones most likely to be death eaters, they’re the ones most likely to be from those more powerful families. The Riddles are one of the most powerful families (and rich bc sorry but i’m not dating a poor orphan guys). I’m a Gryffindor who transfers in and becomes besties with the Slytherin group (Theo, Enzo, Mattheo -i’m a mattheo truther, never matthew- Blaise, Pansy, and Draco). Anyways, I fall for Tommy bc of his whole dark and broody best friend’s older brother thing he has going on.

MCU DRs:

Peter Parker DR 1: i’m obsessed w the idea of being genius buddies w Peter Parker and eventually taking over SI, so this is that. We’ve been best friends and neighbors since we were little, and got bit by spiders at the same time. I’m Silk, and we fight crime tgt. We’re both geniuses and go to Midtown together. When we meet Tony Stark, him and Pepper pretty much take us under their wings and we become their heirs to SI. We revolutionize the tech industry before we even graduate high school, we’re that smart. example: we build a water filter that we use to completely clean the Hudson River. we create inter-dimensional communication to talk w the other spidey gang after we get sucked into a rift and meet miles. on like a random tuesday too. I absolutely love this one, i put SO MUCH DETAIL into this script it’s actually insane.

Peter Parker DR 2: My first Peter dr that i made, but kind of abandoned. Him and I have an enemies to loves relationship bc after talking w Ned, he thinks the way to attract me is to act as if he doesn’t care about me 🙄. these dumbasses. anyways, i’m Tony’s adoptive daughter who he rescued from these evil scientists who gave me powers n stuff. it was a pretty cool concept when i first thought of this reality. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Stucky DR: Takes place in the 1940s at first, bc I’m best friends and eventually dating Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes. The three of us are a force to be reckoned with guys. I’m super fucking smart, Steve is super fucking stubborn, and Bucky is super fucking protective. So, chaos basically. I’m really interested in science and am offered a spot to work on the super soldier serum by Howard Stark. Canon events become canon, I create SHIELD with my besties Howie and Peggy, Howie tells me he’d been working on cryogenics but needs a volunteer to test it, so I agree. I wake up in 2017, after the Civil War was actually dealt with civilly and am reunited with my loves in the present time. One of my favorites that I ever scripted out. 🩷

Misc. DRs:

Peaky Blinders DR: I was a nurse during the war that took care of Tommy and his brothers, and him and I became really close and fell in love. We reconnected a couple of years after the war ended, and I basically become his right hand when it comes to all the Peaky business. He trusts me more than anyone else because we’re both ass over tits in LOVE with each other. Like, yall don’t understand how in love we are. Also, you know that scene of Elle Woods pulling up to Harvard in a full pink outfit? Literally me every single day. Me in my lil pink blazer and skirt sets and the brightest fucking smile on my face making everyone confused why tf someone is as happy as i am in birmingham of all places. Everyone thinks i’m ditzy and just Tommy’s arm candy when rly im the smartest person in the room at all times. i just love to manipulate people into thinking im harmless and then learning all their secrets 🩷🩷🎀

Haikyu DR: i’m the manager of Karasuno that takes over for Kiyoko. I’m the granddaughter of Nekoma’s coach, so i know all about the game and play just as good as the players. Just because those 4 minutes of him had me licking the screen, i’m Kiyoomi Sakusa’s girlfriend. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH ITS CRAZY. we have a whole friend group with Ushijima, Tendo, Iizuna, Komori, and Atsumu. Imagine the chaos that group brings everywhere. It’s such a fun dr, i should really revisit it more often.

Lloyd Hansen DR: i watched the gray man and this man with his white pants and pornstache burrowed his way into my heart. pretty much im his ditzy lil girlfriend who he adores and just skips around the place in pink and he spoils endlessly. 🩷

Mafia DR: didn’t really flesh this one out, but the gist is that i meet this guy in college and he turns out to be a part of the mob. 🤷🏻‍♀️ and so yeah.

Whore DR: yes, I have a whore dr. hehe. don’t judge me but like, a reality where slut shaming doesn’t exist and you can live out your horniest fantasies w/o any judgement whatsoever. bc that’s completely normal. 😋😋

Sunny DR: this is a better cr one, where i’m pretty much just really fucking smart and in a FANTASTIC AND LOVING relationship with this guy named Peter. He sadly doesn’t exist in this reality 😞😞. But he’s literally the sweetest ever and he’s blond, so I call him Sunny. Like, my sunshine boy ☀️. Literally everything i want in like, a mundane life is in this reality. also, for no other reason than i think it’s so funny, peter happens to be the son of one of my teachers in school. Why? i have no fucking clue 😭😭. like, i go to his house to meet his dad and he’s my fucking history teacher. it’s mortifying but absolutely fucking hilarious.

Criminal Minds DR: i join the BAU after Emily’s whole arc where she dips, and everyone but Hotch and Spencer are a bit prickly with me. I’m best friends and eventually get into a friends with benefits relationship with him (which is so out of character it’s crazy, but let me live). We obvi get our shit together and just start dating and become a power couple hehe

Deity DR: literally thought of this 2 days ago 😭. most of the details are on my prev posts, so you can check those out

Narnia DR: last but not least, I’m a human who was transported to Narnia a few years after the Pevensies saved Narnia from the White Witch. However, I’m instead sent to a nearby country where they take me in and basically make me their crowned princess. After a couple of years, I meet and fall in love w Edmund Pevensie. All Hail Queen Rosemary the Radiant. 🩷

Bc of the stuff you said in the last post abt having magic being very OP I had a thought about how to make it less OP.

Imagine it only working in dire circumstances (like Yosano's from BSD) so it isn't always an option, or causing severe physical harm to the person performing the magic.

And yes! Nihility/Harmony Nazuna ftw he is the Tingyun/Bennet of Magical Girl Arashi.

first of all. Hi!! Hello Nazunon and Anon!!! and a big hi to @neptunite-stars too cuz we're gonna be discussing their ideas too! im making this a list or im gonna go crazy crazyiwascrazyonc-

Powers! (not weapons, we'll get there later)

First (1) option! Healer! Nazunon says to tone down his healing powers while anon says to keep him op to show the great loss he was in Valkyrie. Gotta agree with Nazunon in this one, even if Nito is only in the final battle, a healer with no restrictions is wayy too op and would make the audience feel like there's no reason to feel worried for the main team, because even if they get hurt they can just heal and go back to work :/

A way to prevent this (using Nazunon's example!) is putting conditions! A few ideas are that he can heal only a certain percent (some bruises will keep hurting and cuts may not fully close) due the stressing situation they are, or he can transfer the bruises to his own body, as a way to represent his caring personality yet tendency to take too much. Orrr following Yosano's(BSD) powers as example, he can heal others while hurting them, directly contradicting his personality and making him reluctant to use his powers unless is strictly necessary (kind of -1HP but +5HP per hit lol)

2nd option! Support! Can buff his ally or debuff the enemy, or mabye both, idk. A buff idea is reinforce the clothes/armor of his allies (+DEF/VEL) or weapons (+ATK/VEL), and for the debuff ma~ybe inflict little but progressive dmg, maybe where whenever his attacks hit will make the enemy feel numb which can make them unknowingly ignore the cuts and bruises others make them.

3rd option! straight up a Tank. Also starting with the Weapons and Neptune's ideas. What's the weapon that would make the little guy a walking menace, you ask? A big pair of scissors is answer! like, almost as tall as him. It *has* to be that big to be used as a shield, and when it's closed it will make the shape of a sword!

Very delicatte looking, but strong metal! It has to be able to cut heads after all hahaha!/hj

Now going back to supports/healers, i've got the classic options, staffs and books.

Needle staff and antique books (yes they're from genshin but i didn't really wanted to design the covers, but you get the idea).

The staff has a little floating threads mess in the center from where i think infinite threads should come out, but for specific purposes, like heal or reinforce allies for his healer/buff thing, or he can stab the needle in the ground to make the threads go for the enemies foot, forming sewing patterns on the ground, keeping them trapped in the place.

And the books can have like a bunch of magic/alien fashion history that Nito has to study in depth to properly cast whatever he needs. Need to heal someone's deep cut? gotta know how to do a medical stitch in detail. Wanna tie up someone? study how to properly make the knots or take the risk of them escaping.

Anyways! Those are my takes for Nazuna's weapon/rol, hope y'all enjoyed it. I dont plan making any of them 'canon' unless i make a poll about it or see a bunch people directly saying they preffer a specific one (probably).

yk how seungminnie is one of the more misunderstood members?? he's known for being strong and disciplined and super dee duper smart , with cloud-soft features and the sweetest smile and a voice that lulls our stay nation into peace.... he's ofc our savage lil puppy 😆🥰. he's lovely and silly and entirely undermined. i want him to be caught in a vulnerable moment(s) , a moment(s) where he lets his walls down and allows himself to shed his composure and just feel the motions in all of its entirety and rawness. & his members are there for him every step of the way; they turn his bitter tears to joy and mirth , and suddenly the sky becomes one with the sun (that smile we love sm 😭🩵).

i dunno man, i just have a thing for the unflappable becoming.... flapped. (😭💀?) i have a thing for the cracks of humanity showing through what was previously thought impenetrable. in this case, the first members that come to mind are minho, seungmongmong... [ imagine a little hurt/comfort number with those two !! :(( our divorced-but-not-really couple. they may show to the cameras a tom-and-jerry esk relationship, but if anyone looks deeply, it's easy to see how their adoration for one another goes to the bones. aughhh imagine a small misunderstanding between them — maybe some staff/managers tell them to amp up their little love-hate concept, but it actually leads to an argument or something that goes beyond the cameras. tears are shed, words are exchanged, the works. they make up of course, and what better way to make up wounded plots other than sweet persuasive tickles and snuggles? 🤭🥹 ]

gosh, that man works entirely too hard. every so often i remember the story from 2kr that he started crying from frustration and exhaustion, straight up in the middle of a meal, in a public restaurant, in front of seungmin, bc he trusted seungmin — solid as a rock seungmin — with his emotions in that moment and it's very much a whole thing to me. personally, i just want to pull him into an entirely too tight (but just-enough-ly comforting) hug that would last for hours, listen to any and all of his worries. from all the work and greatness he's been doing for years.... golly, i wouldn't mind if he went on a break that lasted a year or more. he deserves it, all of them do. they all work so hard :((

speaking of channie, imagine him breaking down in front of the members , or even worse , in secret (which i'm p sure happens irl too and i just MADE MHYSELF SADDER KJDJKSJH ITS NOT BC I BIAS HIM SHUDDUP 😭😭💔💔) from a reallyyyy bad stress pileup & maybe he even let it build up and slip to a point where he accidentally snaps a lil at his members :(( & ofc they go to look for him , either for confrontation or concern -> comfort (tho it would've led to that in any and all cases) just to find a sobbing and very regretful wolf pup licking at his wounds in painful silence and solitude <//3 :((

said member(s) would then take him into their lap , hold his hands in theirs and gently but firmly coax his worries out of him , hereby forcing him to say exactly what caused him to boil over and how to prevent it from happening in the near future bc they're there. he doesn't have to face his demons alone. & ofc , bc channie is channie , they get a slurred apology through his anguished tears , and he just lets himself be held as said member rocks him back and forth in their arms & channie cries it all out until he's drained.

+ once he's coaxed back into the land of the living with soft head scritches and readjusting of positions into a tighter hug, maaaaybe the hand(s) that had slipped into his hoodie [ skin-to-skin contact is very comforting + scientifically proven to bring such a sense , just like it's used to calm a crying baby :')) ] to rub small circles into his back rubbed down into his sides and , without rlly meaning to , he flinches and giggles bubble up from his tired throat. you can imagine how the rest goes 🥲🫠😚 & what a thing it'd be if seungmongie was this mystery member !! either him or minho ,,, and where one skz member is, the rest follow. it's just clockwork. or fate. 🥰

So! i'm on like . act 6 act 6 i think ? Not getting into spoilers cuz i dont feel like it but the sheer amount of familiarity i felt when gamz snapped back into his Normal self for a bit was . It sure was!!

i've been pondering abt it for the past few hours . About everything . Was it familiar bc its been a while since i've seen gamzee talk normally or was it familiar bc it was a memory ? Or was it not familiar at all and it was just me being really excited to see him normal again and later misled meself? i've not a clue i'd have to replay that part

Also in other news i figured out im canon divergent :o) (?) by the time i like . by the time he gets a god suit i start feeling a very strong disconnect . he feels like such a seperate character from both Me and Also Gamzee In His Introduction . Completely seperate entity . theres some connection yes but thats just cuz he is A Gamzee . So basically pre-alpha kids gamz . Pre-the moment he shows up to try and guide jane . pre-being a pawn to characters' plans . thats Me (?)

Aaaand of course theres the whole side of me thats like "God no youre NOT gamz you are NOTHING like him" i've just been telling that side to shut up :oP but it is tugging at me . the whole idea that like maybe i'm not actually fictionkin at all and i've just been absorbing aspects of him bc i like him a lot . I cant tell . But i do like referring to myself as gamz ... and phrasing things like he does sometimes...... and clowns ..... and doing his stupid clown face emote thing :o) honk honk (<- i also like going honk honk)

Day 23 - Discuss Tosh. Opinions? Favorite moment? Least favorite moment? Any unpopular opinions? Any fun headcanons?

tosh my babygirl my princess light of my life angel darling… shes so good. shes so good 🥺 i love her dearly. she’s so damn underutilized i hate how the show regulates her to a supporting role + only uses her for romantic plots. WACK shes so much more than that. i want a plotline about her cyberterrorism like hello??? i want a plotline about her warped little mind.. i want a plotline about her finally learning spanish ;-; that show did not do her justice and it did not deserve her. i often say torchwood’s characters are too good for the show; tosh is probs the best example of that. no other character gets screwed over as badly as she does by the narrative (not even ianto!) she’s so tragic and lonely i just wanna give her the biggest hug ever. 

fav moment… every time she smiles. (or smirks. hrgh. tosh call me.) also every time she geeks out about smth. im tryna think of a specific moment but idk if i have one?? i just love her overall i smile every time she’s on screen she’s my girlie. when i rewatch i might rmr one though

least favorite moment, the absolute only thing i can think of (hell, my only complaint with her as a character other than i wish she’d get over owen cuz bad taste queen pls u deserve sm better) - it’s always bothered me how she goes over to owen’s flat in aditd and just starts babbling about her own problems. she even says something like “you think everything’s about you”, and in that ep it’s like ??? why are they all acting like he’s unjustified being miserable and angry when he's fucking dead?? like they're all so unsympathetic and mean, even tosh, and out of her it's especially weird?? tbh it just strikes me as ooc (+ kind of misogynistic highkey) writing. i mean, by all means, let tosh bitch, she deserves to blow off some steam + esp deserves to be rude to owen tbh fhsdkjfsd, but the way it’s done in that particular moment feels ooc and, like, how men write women as talking too much and never listening lmao u kno what i mean (owen’s tuned out in the actual episode but you can see her full ramble in the original script, on page 23). tosh has never troubled anyone with her issues before, why would she choose now to, and when she knows owen’s struggling? yeah, on second thought, i don’t hold that against her actually, that’s ooc to me fhdkf. thts just the writer being a wiener.

my only unpopular opinions (slash hot takes) are that 1) towen fucking SUCKS get her away from him, and 2) most people like tosh but she’s highkey underappreciated, esp in fanfic, because of fandom racism + misogyny. she’s not bashed like gwen is but she’s ignored completely which is nearly as bad, and a lot of it’s cuz she happens to be in a show with two white men in a gay relationship who are overwhelmingly prioritized 💀 i will never not be petty about the way that ship dwarfs everything else in comparison. also throwing towen into the background of janto is so gross n cheap. if ppl cared abt her they'd do smth more interesting. and it's never well-done either. ugh.

i have a few hcs that are gonna end up in my owento verse (gwen and tosh are prominent characters in it bc i love them, and their relationships w owen and ianto and each other also have value lawl). tbh a lot of em are just things i think they should introduce into their lives to be happier. i want them happy ;-;

she starts coding video games recreationally!! nothing fancy but she rlly enjoys it + also gets into the swing of making little storylines n getting to express herself that way which is good for her. owen playtests shit for her

her and gwen go on spa dates sometimes. they put it on the torchwood credit card

she gets into fish tanks and fish tank care!!! esp like aquarium plants. shrimp and moss balls, that sort of thing. maybe plecos or loaches. she loves it + it’s grounding, which is good for her bc shes otherwise always got her head in her computers yanno. she’ll sit by her tank while she codes her games and the water sounds are calming. 

she also sits by it while she studies her spanish books which she does finally do. she doesn’t get around to the piano, though; doesn’t prioritize buying a keyboard. maybe one day (this is a nobody dies au btw so she will in fact eventually get around to it ;-;)

It seems sorta cute tbh and I feel like they could have dated a bit when they were younger while Greaseball was still on his way to being champion. When I first heard abt StEx I had actually shipped them before seeing the light that is GreaseDinah I just read the plot and watched a bootleg lol. I think that they would have gotten along pretty well then may have started to lose more romantic feelings for each other. I also see Ashely as always being more mature then the other around her and she may have gotten tired of Greaseball not being as mature as her. Now I think they would be close friends and he was probably the first person that she came out to (”You’re a lesbian? I thought you were American?” type thing) and she was probably the first person who he told about Dinah. She probably helped him to ask her out, since she is friends with both of them. They are close friends like Dinah and CB.

This one I don’t think was ever any real anything. I feel like for after Pearl Twirl they may have kissed or something but then felt guilty about betraying Dinah so they just stopped. I mean Dinah and Pearl are supposed to be best friends and (according to the more recent versions) Greaseball and Dinah were barely broken up, seemed more like they were on a short break if anything. They both probably knew it was wrong and when Greaseball had uncoupled Pearl it could have been a way of trying to make things “better”, like he didn’t want to be seen with her anymore(also cuz he needed Caboose on his side too but we’re not talking abt that rn) and uncoupled Pearl not thinking about the consequences of his actions(again). Pearl may have gone along with Greaseball because as she said she was “going to try them all until she found the best” and just decided to try Greaseball too, not thinking how Dinah would feel, she may have been the one to tell Greaseball that they shouldn’t be kissing because they do have others that greatly care about them. Pearl and Greaseball try not to bring up what happened, especially near Dinah or Rusty, and feel a bit ashamed for what they did even though both of their relationship at status’ were unclear at the time. I will say that this is quite aesthetically pleasing but I don’t seem much of an actually relationship here ya know. But they do look good standing next to each other. I think that they do become better friends because Pearl and Dinah are best friends(I feel like after Pearl Twirl Dinah downgraded Pearl to close friend lol) and both Dinah and Pearl want Rusty and Greaseball to be on good terms with each other so they end up doing a lot of things together.

Idk if this counts as a crack ship or what but this is something. There is no romance whatsoever, they just think they both are hot. Probably just like a one night stand or something. I mean there had to have been a time where Greaseball was having a few or a bunch😏 of one night stands. I feel like he thinks that he is hot, and he thinks that Joule is hot. Joule thinks she is hot and she thinks that Greaseball is hot. Like come onnnnnnnn! I think they got together when they were younger and when Electra shows up with Joule they are both like “We slept together at some point right?” Now they probably just think that the other is pretty cool but don’t really think of it much other then that.

Something that's frequently on my mind as I do the anti stalker rewrite/making them my own characters is how I'm gonna be respectful Abt it. Like, first of all I bounce back and forth on whether it's too niche or not. The fandom on Tumblr is abysmally small but on Webtoon it's both an original and has like 90k plus reading last I checked, I can't remember if it was thousands or mil- 90 m sounds ridiculous scratch that

Second, this ultimately is a rewrite before making them my own, really the only reason I'm redesigning them and changing their names is so I can use them for portfolio and other stuff, just heavy inspo from the webtoon

Also the same face syndrome was really bad they reused hairstyles and faces a lot I got mixed up between characters

AND it's a rewrite out of love. If I ever make a video all about this Webtoon and my rewrite, that's something I want to make especially clear. I read the thang when I was in middle school and ALL of season 1 just had me SO HOOKED I was making headcanons left and right and predicting and theorizing what was gonna happen next MADLY.

And then s1's finale happened which was.. ight? It has problems but it was really when I started going "wait a min..." Season 2 was ehhh for a time and then I REALLY fell off like WHAT. WHAT DO YOU MEAANN I THOUGHT. I THOUGHT WE WERE GONNA HAVE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT

(i think what happened was webtoon cut them short and they had to pick and choose what to focus on for s2, meaning a lot of things got unresolved + left behind, or resolved poorly. It took a turn to focus on romance that just hadn't been earned yet. Kira deserved more time to process things, August SHOULD have said sorry. For A TON OF SHIT. In general the jokes from s1 went from, we're poking fun at this but you get the vibe if stuff happens then it'll take time. To, jokes still happen, but they feel more sexist and at the expense of Kira's writing. August's possessiveness doesn't get examined, when that should have been a strictly Pretending to be her stalker thing and Kira doesn't feel the same. She's now a character for the boys to fight over, and while that existed in s1 it wasn't as heavy handed, there was more to focus on and Kira had... Some agency... There's something weird going on when the webtoon starts with Kira with her friends at school, a community she's grown, to an ending only showing her as a mom with August (who's significantly more masculine now for some reason) with their two kids which I CANT SEE KIRA WANTING??? SHE HAS MEDICAL PROBLEMS WITH BEING A ROYAL VAMPIRE AND WEREWOLF'S DAUGHTER IN CANON I can't see her wanting that for her children when it'll be 2x worse for them since BOTH Kira and August have the royal blood in them)

All that being said, I still love so much of it and my rewrite is a product of "GOD YOUR WORK HAD ME GOING UP AND DOWN THE WALLS I COULDN'T CONCENTRATE DURING SCHOOL I WAS SO EXCITED" and the insanity still drives me to this day and idk dude if I were to make something I worry Abt the author coming across it and feeling hurt yknow, esp since they haven't been online for like 3 years and no one knows if they are ok.... They don't know the insanity their creation has cast upon me. It's largely a positive thing I just want that to be clear yknow

When I create stuff for it, aside from art + ramblings it's probably gonna be on AO3 for fanfic and still, on here for comic. Cuz a lot of my ideas just cannot be recreated in any other format but comic

I still keep coming back to it man. I keep thinking of new ideas for how plotlines could have been handled and it makes me so giddy.

And the way they kissed THREE TIMES BITCH I WAS UPPPP. Him close to crying like SOFIA YOU DID IT GIRL YOU DID IT. He clearly loves her like a lot and I hate that his INSECURE ASS would just break it up IN MOROCCO OVER A GUY WHOS CLEARLY A CON. AND THE WORST PART IS MY GIRL WAS SO HEARTBROKEN LIKE THAT SHOT OF HER JUST DROPPING THE PHONE. SOMEONE HOLD MY BABY SHE DOESNT DESERVE THIS. Everyone says that drew has chemistry with everyone...i kinda disagree. I watched The Other Zoey and as much as i liked it the chemistry between Katherine and drew was not hitting at all. And the background score was not it at all, I was actually fast forwarding for all the romantic scenes with music cuz that was just tacky. And i feel like the final kiss was like...meh. I love the character Zach tho, he is so fuckng cute but I feel like the art direction and the overall aesthetic and the chemistry was not up to the mark. I was expecting more like"to all the boys i loved before" level cuteness but nope it was...ok ig. Compared to that, fiona and drew seem so intense on obx like the banter and the sexual tension is very palpable between sofia and rafe. even in scenes like the one second WHERE SOF PUTS HER HEAD ON RAFES SHOULDER like I felt that chemistry was chemistryfying.
