How did you get them? Any interesting stories?

Hmm, a pretty recent one is from rollerblading, my wheels got stuck on a little stone and I fell almost headfirst into some construction debris. Luckily, since I have plenty of rollerblading experience, I know how to fall, so I didn’t get seriously hurt -- just got scrapes all over. My elbow was in a particularly bad shape and now I got a nice scar to forever remind me of my adventures.

Nope. Not how, not when, nothing.

If you could change your name, what would you change it to?

I actually wouldn’t. I never thought my name suited me, but then one day it hit me that it’s such a short, convenient, easily pronounceable name that all my foreign friends can use too, so now I like it.

Would you drink an entire bottle of hot sauce for $1000?

Uhhh well no, but I’d probably try for $1000. That’s good money for my country.

Actually, I’m the one who’s most likely to answer messages at 4 am because I often work at night. Plus, I know everyone’s sleeping then so they won’t answer right away. Sometimes I feel so pressured when I answer a message and a person writes back immediately, the exception being when it’s something urgent or arranging plans or so.

If you could change your eye color what would it be?

Probably blue. I’m cool with my boring brown eyes now tho

Request: So I for real can’t remember if this was requested by anyone? Maybe I dreamed it up? Idk. All I know is that I may have seen it in my inbox and now it’s gone. My only proof of ever having it was bc I put it on my WIP list lmao. It’s fine. So anyway, if you’re reading this and feel that this was from the prompt list you requested, then I hope you enjoy lol. It’s from my Peaky Prompts List #11 under Fluff and #15 under Angst.

Summary: After a late-night episode keeps Tommy awake, Y/N tries her best to wait him out and tries to console him despite her own problems.

You looked at Thomas as he sat at his desk, the gears in his mind shifting as he thought of a plan, like always. He was always thinking of his next move, no matter the situation. His eyes were sunken, with dark circles making more of an appearance than before. Looking more like a dead mans eyes than your husband’s. The nights were long and grim ever since he got back from France all those years ago, not knowing himself or even his surroundings at times as he glanced back at his reflection in the dust covered mirror.

He stared aimlessly out the window, as you silently watched him from the doorway, the smell of his cigarette smoke filling your nose and inevitably your lungs as the night dragged on.

“Thomas?” You whispered, not wanting startle him completely.

“Have you been there this whole time?” He asked, turning around in his seat. His voice dull and terrifyingly low.

“If I say no will that make this easier on you?” You asked, walking in and sitting in one of the chairs near his desk.

“Make what easier, love?” He asked, taking another drag of his cig before darting his eyes to yours.

“All of this.” You gestured vaguely at him. He raised his brow at you as you continued. The moonlight shining on his slender face.

“The waiting Thomas...The waiting for the shovels to stop scraping. The waiting for you to come back to bed. The waiting for you to be here, and I mean actually being here, in the present, love. You think you can keep this up but you fucking can’t...” You said, taking a deep breath, trying not to get worked up.

“You don’t have to wait up for me Y/N. I can handle myself. I can handle my...whatever this is.” He said mimicking your gesture to himself and pointing at his head before sighing in frustration. You walked over to him, taking his free hand in yours, looking at his bruised knuckles and cut up fingers, probably from gripping his cap too tightly during a fight.

“You always say that Tommy...how about you let me help you for a change? Let me bring you back to reality for a second?” You asked. Bringing his sore knuckles to your lips as you kissed them.

He put his cigarette out and placed his hand over yours, sighing as he looked down at them.

“Help how?” He asked quietly.

“By letting me into that pretty head of yours....I am your wife after all.....I just want you to be okay. I just want you to be here for me...for us.” You said, hearing the last word slip out of your mouth that you told yourself a week prior to keep in until the right time.

“Us?” He asked, his sullen mood shifting.

“I was going to tell you this week, but I never got the chance...because you were on business. You’re going to be a father Tommy.” You said, desperately watching his face for any expression.

He looked up at you, a spark in his eyes appearing that wasn’t there before, and a small smile playing at his lips.

“Really?” He asked.

“Yeah. Found out last week.” You said as he pulled you in for a quick kiss. When you pulled away you sighed, putting your hands on his chest.

“I didn’t mean for that to be the reality check, but whatever works right?” You said, looking up at him.

“Whatever works.” He said staring at you as he held you in his arms, not wanting to let you go.

“You’re my good luck charm, you know that?” He asked.

“Yes.” You said, nodding.

“Then I want you to know that anything I’ve lived through, is because you were there to guide me. You were in the back of my mind when I was digging the tunnels, you were there when I got back, you were there for me when I took over the company, you’re here during my darkest moments, and now you’re here with me, by my side. You’ll always be with me. And I’m gonna try to be there for you now.” He said, seeing him slowly turn back into himself again.

You kissed him once more, letting your forehead touch his as you took in the moment.

“I know a way you can be there for me...” You said, draping your arms over his shoulders lazily.

“Yeah?” He said, smiling back for a change.

“Come back to bed. We both need the sleep love.” You said.

“Is that all?” He said looking down at you.

“Follow me and find out...” You said, gently breaking from his embrace and heading out of the office. His steps were dragging close behind, a smirk playing at your lips as you led him up to the bedroom where the plush queen bed was waiting for you both.

5.How late did you stay up last night and why? Umm, probably about 10:00 cause it took me forevor to get into bed. Uh..Past 4am. Lol. B/c my sleep schedule is fucked. I was in bed by 3am though, but I was playing games & watching TikToks on my phone. Lol.

6.If you could move somewhere else, would you? Yes. I'd move to either New York or Sweden. I don’t know. Part of me says yes. But part of me says no..b/c even though Texas has it’s faults (a LOT of them), I cannot imagine living anywhere else long-term..

7. Ever been kissed under fireworks? HAHA. Yeah right. I've never even been kissed! Still nope. I have been kissed though. He just didn’t kiss me under the fireworks the one NYE we spent together...

8. Which of your friends lives closest to you? Um, I think R, but D might also. D is accross Stasney from me and R is a couple blocks down (I don’t talk to these people much anymore & I’m not going to share their names on Tumblr) Uh. I think Maybe Raven? B/c they’re the only one who lives in the same city still. But, Sarah might technically be closer distance wise? Hold on. Ok, yeah, Sarah’s closer, even though she doesn’t live in this city anymore.

9. Do you believe exes can be friends? It all depends on the situation.(I totally stold M's answer but it's true) (I don’t talk to this person anymore & I’m not gonna share their name on Tumblr) I mean, yeah. Two of my best friends are each others exes and they’re still friends. I haven’t stayed friend with my ex, but, uh, he ghosted me so? Lol.

10. How do you feel about Dr. Pepper? I love it. I still love it. Lol.

11. When was the last time you cried really hard? I can't remember. I don't think it was that long ago, I had a light cry on Saturday, but I don't remember the last time I cried really hard. When we got back from our trip in July. Had a full on breakdown that night. Overheated all weekend. Overwhelmed. Anxiety. It was not a very good vacation..I cry a lot though.

12. Who took your profile picture? I got it off of google. I did.

13. Who was the last person you took a picture of? Umm, either myself, or one of my family members. Aside from myself. I think my dad, on his phone, b/c there was a cicada on his shoulder and he wanted to ask the family group chat if he could keep it. Lol. I take a LOT of pictures of cats though. Lol.

14. Was yesterday better than today? Hail yes! To much drama today! And I couldn't avoid it cause I was in the middle of it! (Oof, what drama was 15 yo Linda dealing with that she couldn’t avoid? Lol. I mean, I guess, Sophomore year was a bit full of drama lol) Anyway, I mean, they were pretty much the same. One wasn’t better than the other. One wasn’t worse than the other.

15. Can you live a day without TV? yeah. Now Music there is something I can't live without! Yep, Do it almost everyday. Sentiments about music remain the same. Lol.

16. Are you upset about anything? Yes. I'm annoyed about something and it's making me upset. (I assume this has something to do with the the drama mentioned earlier lol) Always. Anxiety & depression are a bitch. My rooms a mess & I can’t get myself to clean it. My shelves are still a mess.

17. Do you think relationships are ever really worth it? yeah. though i havent really had one yet. I mean, yeah. Even though I haven’t had one last, aside from friendships, but they’re worth it.

18. Are you a bad influence? I hope not. If so, let me know.(again I took M's answer but it's true) Probably. Idk. Lol.

19. Night out or night in? Depends on what's going on and how I feel about it. Night in usually. I do like going out sometimes, but, like, to dinner. Maybe a movie or a show. But, you know, we’ve been in a panini press, the only thing I’ve been comfortable doing is going to dinner (fully vaxxed & masked). But I also prefer staying home anyway. (Like I usually just go to dinner with my family lol)

20. What items could you not go without during the day? my computer. my book. my journal and a pen. My phone. My journal (b/c I write in it every night, as a diary, 14yo Linda wrote stories). Uh. I didn’t take food or drinks into account in the og, so I won’t in those. But, yeah. My phone & journal. I can go a day without my laptop if I need to. (Went the whole trip in July without pulling it out, though maybe that’s not a good example since my anxiety on that trip was so high..) I want to say a book, but I’ve been in a massive reading slump so...I wish I read as much as 15yo Linda did..

21. Who was the last person you visited in the hospital? I don't remember. I think it was myself.(if you want to know, ask me in person) I honestly don’t know. I don’t remember the last time I was in a hospital.

22. What does the last text message in your inbox say? "Mrbobbybones: wish ted would finally meet their mother already. geez. get to it. However, I see myself in that character more and more each episode." yeah. That's what it says. It's from Twitter. (Huh? and I can’t even go check b/c my inbox doesn’t go back to 2009 on Twitter?? (I haven’t had my account that long) Wait wait wait just remembered I used to get tweets to my phone as text messages lol)

Facebook messenger: “ Cool” From our group chat. Lol.

23. How do you feel about your life right now? I'm loving and hating it. but hey nobody gets out alive right? Uh..I mean. I’m alive. I have WiFi. Food. Family. I haven’t seen my friends in 2 years. (Minus Alex, b/c they were here in July to cat/house sit, but I saw them for like, one night..) There’s a lot that could be better. A lot that could be worse.

24. Do you hate anyone? yes!!! Oof. I mean, kinda.

25. If we were to look in your Facebook Inbox, what would we find? some random conversations. most of my convos on her though have been in chat or through comments. Facebook Inbox is now Facebook Messenger. So you’ll find all my Facebook Messenger convos. Mostly our group chat. And side group chats for secret planning (birthdays & stuff). Plus other chats? Lol.

26. Say you were given a drug test right now, would you pass? I better! (excuse me miss 15yo Linda you absolutely could have passed a drug test you ALSO didn’t drink or smoke or take any drugs lol) Yeah. Absolutely. I don’t drink or smoke or take any drugs so, yeah? Lol.

Well, dress, for one. I'm at home, I'm permanently in pjs. I try not to swear around kids. Lots of other stuff... This question is pretty broad. What was the last song to bring out strong emotions in you? I'm not sure. Metaphorically speaking, what was the last thing to crush you? Finding out my cousin can die at the snap of a finger. Yeah I remember. (I'll get to the writer thing but since you asked I should tell you this) I also used to do painting and I get crazy while doing it, I'm kinda perfectionist about doing things so I don't do things unless I'm the best at it (coz I'm not good with handling criticism and anxiety is a real deal) I used to do sketching and canvas painting and it was like a do or die situation for me coz I don't let myself eat or do anything else unless I get it right and perfectly done and during that time I used be cranky for few days. It's been more than a year and I really wanna do something but yeah I don't have that kind of energy anymore. And yeah I write too although I'm new to the writing thing. I started writing like 2 years ago and those fics were only meant for me. I had a lot of ideas so I wrote a few things and wip and I never had courage to post them coz there are many great people writing better stories and I never planned the ending of any of the fics so I never posted them. I write mainly destiel so a few months back in December I was mad at the show of course and few other things and I was like screw it I'm gonna post the thing. No one's gonna read it anyway. It's this fic I wrote in 2019 and I never planned ending to it and that's the first one I posted and people really liked it I've got like 86 comments so at first I thought they were being nice but now I think they really like it so I've to plan some ending to it I can't abandon it. I've posted around 11 chapters to that one. God! I've to write more. I actually remember two products right now, even tho there may be more I hope I won’t remember so I won’t cry in the corner because I’ll never get to see them again.

The first one is an infusion I used to drink a lot as a kid (around 10 or something, maybe a lil’ more). That was called “Carribean” and it was an exotic fruits and flowers flavor that was so fucking sweet. I was looking for it a few months ago when I remembered its existence and found nothing, just to discover while doing a google search that it was discontinued several years ago.

I found a brand who makes the flavor but it’s not the same. This one is sour when the other one was sweet.

The second one was a type of chocolate cereals. The brand (Chocapic) usually makes chocolate corn flakes (I don’t even know if it can be called “chocolate corn flakes” but I always called it like that so whatever) and once they made chocolate corn flakes mixed with huge chocolate chips and I loved this.

Just, look at this and dare tell me this doesn’t look fucking delicious.

Here goes : The fact that I have a kickin’ 27 months old mouse.

I mean that may sound weird but, honestly, I got so much means comments saying I should never get mice again, that I was mistreating them, that it shouldn’t be normal that I lose so much pets (fact : statistically, the more pets you adopt, the more pets you’ll see go. But people doesn’t seem to understand this basic sentence *shrugs*), that it was my fault, and I kinda became mad and salty about it because it affects me a lot and I started to believe it and become paranoid about how I take care of them. All this time, I was scared for everything and anything (having anxiety doesn’t help), and everytime was feeling guilty even tho I did nothing wrong, just because people were being jerks.

And now I see that I have this disabled mouse I adopted in the middle of 2016 who’s probably the pet I got that had the worst life before (the actual real definition of being mistreated. Y’know, small cage, no food, toxic bedding, left alone with another male mouse who…destroyed him), just having a good life in his huge cage, running like he’s a baby (especially with almost non functionning back legs). Despite, like, being old. That’s not very very old, but usually mice are spending more time doing nothing at this age, not climbing, running and playing.

I don’t know if I’m showing off or if I’m just very proud of him. Maybe both (I mean I wrote all this about him and how it’s so cool how old he is) ? Idk but I’m glad he’s still fine. He’s getting the life he deserves and itt gives me a lot of confidence tbh and now seeing actual mouse lovers telling me that “At this age, if this disabled, one-eyed mouse is still acting like nothing’s wrong, he will probably be there for a while. And for a two years old he has a beautiful fur” makes me happy.

My Dipstick is basically flipping all these mean people off and that’s cool. I could also show your recents photos of this lil’ rascal but none of them are decent because he moves too fast ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

hey i dont even know if u take prompts or anything and i know ur super busy with Ships and other things but when phil tweeted about watching baby driver and how he cant drive i just thought of him and dan going up to phils parents house on holiday and phil taking the car so they could go somewhere like grocery shopping or to get take out or whatever and them kinda freaking out and laughing bc phil hasnt driven in so long and. yeah. like maybe for future reference? if u need a fic idea? idk lol

This probably wasn’t what you wanted. I honestly intended to have them freak out or for something to go wrong but they just got all soft on me and then... yeah. This happened.

"I'm really not sure this is a good idea," Dan says, hesitating with his hand on the door handle even though he heard the central locking click under his fingers.

"It's fine."

The problem with Phil was that he bumbled into these things, over confident, flippant almost, joyful in this assumption that things would be fine. And it never seemed to faze him when they weren't. Which worked fine for the moments he jumped too quickly on a computer game, sure he'd be okay to do it only to plummet to his death. Sure, it wasted a life and Dan could get eye strain from rolling them so hard but no one was actually physically harmed in all of that. This was a different matter.

"You haven't driven in ages."

He still doesn't move, just looks at him over the car roof as Phil pulls the door open and ducks into the driver's seat, out of his line of vision.

"So?" he says as he does.

Dan tries bending to look through the window but Phil is fiddling with the seatbelt and resolutely ignoring him so getting in the car is the only thing for it.

"So what if you have an accident?" Dan says sliding into the passenger seat.

"I won't," Phil shrugs.

"I want you to know that I'm putting my life in your hands," Dan says clicking his own seatbelt into place as Phil starts the engine.

"I have driven before," Phil notes sliding the car into gear.

"Yes," Dan nods, "And I feared for my life then too. It was ages ago."

"Shut up," Phil says, lifting his foot on the clutch so the car begins to move backwards. "I need to concentrate."

Phil twists in his seat to look out of the back window.

"You're not meant to do that," Dan reprimands, completely ignoring Phils request for him to shut up. "Use your damn mirrors."

"I prefer doing it this way."

Dan curls a hand around the seat and grips. It's not going to do anything if they do have an accident, and he's mostly convinced that it won't actually happen, but he can't help doing it anyway.

He stays quiet at they pull out of the drive. He'd known it was dangerous when Mr Lester brought it up over dinner the night before, but had managed to remain silent on the issue even as they were ringing up to put Phil on the insurance that morning, only because he hadn't really thought Phil would go through with it. It wasn't until he'd caught sight of the wildly enthusiastic look in Phil's eye as his dad passed him the keys that Dan knew it was actually going to happen.

"You can open your eyes," Phil says.

Dan hadn't realised he'd closed them.

When he does open them he's greeted with the sight of Phil competently moving the car down the road. Something about the way Phil changes gear and checks his side mirror at the same time as they navigate a junction makes Dan's stomach flip.

"You like it now."

It's Dan's turn to tell Phil to shut up, but he doesn't.

"It's fine, I know I'm all manly and stuff driving my dad's Volvo."

Dan snorts and whacks Phil's bicep with the back of his hand. "You spork."

Dan begins to relax as they navigate a few more junctions without incident, even leans over to fiddle with the radio.

"I'm glad we could get out today," Phil says.

"Yeah, s'good."

"I thought we wouldn't be able to when the trains were cancelled."

"I mean, it wouldn't have been the end of the world if we hadn't gone, Phil." Dan points out, "It was just an idea."

"No," Phil insists, reaching a hand over to squeeze at Dan's thigh, "I want to go. We haven't been back in ages."

"Both hands on the wheel," Dan admonishes him, but his voice is fond and his face is moreso.

When they get further into the centre of town it starts to get busier and Phil's brow furrows in concentration as they make their slow way in, navigating around the one way system and roadworks that send them through a diversion at one point.

Dan slips his hand on to the back of Phil's neck as runs his fingers into the short hair at his nape.

"I'm beginning to like the car thing," Dan says.

"I'm not," Phil squints, and Dan can see the telltale signs of travel sickness setting in as Phil has to concentrate on the road. This is usually the point on the train Phil would close his eyes, stop trying to focus on anything at all seeing as how it's the movement and focussing which tends to make him feel queasy.

"Can't do this on the train though," Dan says, fluttering his hand again, ruffling Phil's hair.

Phil's head pushing back in to the touch and he lets out a little hum.

"Keep doing it til we get there?" Phil asks shyly, "It's helping."

Dan nods thought Phil can't really see him and keeps up the gentle rhythm of his fingers.

They make it to the car park and Phil sighs when he turns off the engine.

"I'm beginning to remember why I didn't like driving," he says, head leaning back on the headrest.

"We got here in one piece though," Dan points out, "no horrific accidents or anything."

Phil rolls his neck until he's looking at Dan and pouts.

"Come on," Dan encourages him, "Let's go be stupid sentimental idiots and get coffee at Starbucks."

"Think our sofa will be free?" Phil asks ever hopeful, even though it hasn't been free the last few times they've come back.

"Maybe."

"How did we manage to claim it every time back in the day?" Phil asks as they get out of the car, the central locking clicking again as the doors lock behind them.

"We must have just looked nauseatingly pathetic," Dan suggests, "No one wanted to stop us being all weird and codependent."

"We're still weird and codependent," Phil insists, "Just… with shorter hair."

Dan smiles and shoves his hands in his pockets. He's still hesitant about the public thing, probably always will be. Phil is too, he can just get away with looking a bit fonder every now and again because he doesn't have a broody socially awkward persona to maintain.

They step into the lift of the multi storey car park and make their way down to street level, their feet knowing the way before they even think about it. The car is new, the destination isn't.

"Will you be okay driving back?" Dan asks, drifting a little closer so that his elbow brushes Phil's.

"Yeah," Phil assures him, "Traffic should be lighter and I know the way now so I won't have to concentrate as hard."

They have coffee, and it's the same as it always is and there isn't much remarkable about the place except the memories that it evokes. They take the opportunity of being in Manchester city centre to visit a few other places and Dan buys yet another pair of shoes even though Phil insists he doesn't need them. Phil ends up getting a jumper with whales on it that Dan rolls his eyes at fondly in the next shop so they end up even in the disapproved purchase stakes.

It's dark by the time they make it back to the car, plastic bags swinging from their hands.

"I had a good day," Dan says, smiling widely as they get in.

"Me too."

Neither of them are surprised. Just being with each other has always meant it would be a good day, regardless of what they're doing. The nostalgia has been nice though.

Dan feels his head sinking ten minutes into the drive home. The orange streetlights are flashing across his face at rhythmic intervals and it begins to rain so that the soft patter of it on the window is a comforting sound, bracketed by the soft swish of the windscreen wipers across the glass.

Dan lets his head drop against the window and closes his eyes, he feels himself begin to drift into sleep, relaxed and happy. He lets himself slide into unconsciousness, confident in the knowledge that Phil will get them home.
