I think at first when you first arrive they just assume that you are like most others at NRC and are just anti social since it is a school for villains 

But once you become more acquainted with them all and have a friendship with the rest of them they start to become more and more concerned with your behavior because they think that as friends you should be comfortable coming to them when you need help, especially after you have helped them so much with all that you’ve done 

I think riddle can really relate as it seems that when he wasn't being micromanaged he was being neglected at least emotionally so he knows the feeling 

Malleus and leona also understand, malleus has always just felt so alone that even tho lilia was a good parent he's never really had a lot of people in his life, leona has always felt second best or has been ignored so they also understand 

At first i don't think that any of them say too much, really they are trying to make you realize that they do in fact want to hang out because they enjoy being around you

It's even worse if they like you because they dont get why you are so distant

Eventually they call a intervention lol and have a sit down where they give you pseudo therapy to help you

They really try to hammer it home that you don't have too feel like you're not good enough and that again they do want you to be around them 

They also tell you that after all you've done they genuinely want you to come to them if you have problems or need something

Ok specifics time 

Riddle really relates to your issues, even though his problems are like on the opposite end of the spectrum he also struggles with feeling like he has to do everything on his own, he tries to help you the same way you helped him. He likes inviting you to tea and all but interrogating you on anything you may need help with. Definitely helps you study 

Leona is less forward about his affections/making you feel better but he has his own ways. If he sees you on his way to the botanical garden he is dragging you with him and you are TAKING A NAP. he doesn't give af you are napping with him and you are gonna be so snug. In leonas mind he hates people disturbing him when he's napping so having you with him when he's napping means that he doesn't see you as a disturbance. It's really sweet. He also relates to feeling pushed aside and neglected so he makes sure to give you extra attention. 

Azul is well versed in insecurity and while his stems from self image and body images, he still understands it at the core. He's bad at this really, he wants to be there for you but the shady octopus is struggling big time. He decides that having you for dinners is a good idea, the lounge is nice and peaceful as you eat a tasty dinner together, he takes the opportunity to ask if anyone has been bothering you lately, old shady habits die hard. 

Jamil cooks with you (i feel like jamil's idea of cooking with you is you sit on the counter and eat the little treats he gives you while he does the real cooking) jkjk he likes cooking with you because it allows you to both be close and do something you enjoy, but it also lets you both get a little treat at the end (the treat is his cooking because its god tier) 

Vil makes it known very quickly that he will not be standing for this behavior. He's putting an end to it one way or another, hence your now shared morning and night skincare routine. Well it's more like doing each other's routine, he teaches you the steps, you do his and he does yours. Whole nine yards, im talking matching fluffy headbands and those cute face masks as a treat. Normally he wouldn't get them but if a hello kitty/fun face/eye mask makes you happy then he will indulge (only after triple checking the ingredients because he does not play games)

Idia games with you, either separately or together in his dorm he loves playing videogames with you, especially ones like “it takes two” (amazing game btw) he's very antisocial so he hopes you understand how close he feels letting you into his room to game with him because literally no one else gets this kind of SS+ 5 hearts treatment 

Malleus is the worst offender because if you thought the dragon was already kinda clingy after this info is revealed it is 100% worse. He feels the need to show you all the attention he can to make up for lost time, the same way having you as a friend (and potentially more than a friend) has made up for manyyyyyyyy years of loneliness in his mind. The night walks are his favorite, hand in hand as you both walk along in silence, even with the silence he occasionally chimes in with little words of affirmation. If you want to talk he is so happy to listen, eventually you find that hes quite the yapper, happily talking about anything you will listen to and hoping that you yap right back at him.

I really like your idea for robin angst, poor Damian already feels guilty enough for having attacked Tim in the past after they fix things 😭😭 I would love to hear your ideas on F!Barbara and F!Steph (I'm still working my way through the canon so I didn't have any ideas for either of them). Hmmm... For F!Barbara, it depends on how you mess around with canon. Personally, I hate erasing her growth and path as Oracle. Magically healing her after all of that is distasteful and ableist (in my opinion). Oracle is such a badass, extremely competent, and terrifying. She doesn't need to fit able-bodied standards to completely decimate her enemies.

So, my idea of a F!Barbara is one who chose to become villainous on her inital path to becoming Oracle. She's paralyzed and struggling with these changes, but she's learning about how much she can still fuck up other people's days. In this AU, her Bruce basically wrote her off. He barely tolerated her as Batgirl and deemed her useless to his crime fighting business after he learned of her medical status (this Bruce is entirely focused on the "mission" and lacks ability to care outside of it). Maybe he threw money at her to pay for the medical bills, but overall left her alone to recover (idk where Dick is in this).

Barbara, maybe after hearing another ableist comment directed at her by Bruce and other folks, gets tired of being written off. She's also so fucking sick of all the injustice that her Bruce doesn't fight (violence against minorities [women, LGBT, POC, certain religions], disportionate wealth, corruption, etc). She starts out as a hidden force online that not even Batman knows about.

Then she gets captured by some hero and of course Batman doesn't save her. Scorned from how heroes fail her and others, seemingly only helping those from certain groups, she vows to hold all of them accountable. No hero in any country can operate without her thorough approval, or she incapacitates them.

For F!Steph, I am so so sorry. I am going to cause her so much pain, and obviously she doesn't deserve any of it (nor do any of the other characters, but rip Steph).

Okay! So, Bruce already treated her poorly in canon when she was Robin. Ramp that up quite a bit for this AU, make the rest of the Bats shitty to her as well, and Tim and Steph never end up dating. Steph does end up pregnant when she's Spoiler, but she decides to keep her kid in this AU. Only Bruce and her mom know about it. Steph then has to step up and everything that happened during her final days as Robin happened to her.

Eventually, she returns to Gotham, where she finds out that Bruce had gotten her kid killed (either through negligence or intention, dealer's choice). After dying for Bruce and him causing her kid to be killed (and the shitty ways the Bats treated her), Steph says "fuck it." She works her way steadily through all of Gotham's gangs and mafias until she becomes the leader of Black Mask's rival gang. She then takes him out and absorbs his empire. She is untouchable in the world of crime in Gotham, and Bruce can't prove a damn thing. She has her fingers in all of GCPD, the courts, the politicians, etc. She practically owns Gotham now, and she uses that to get revenge on Bruce.

Hopefully, those are good F!Bats for Steph and Barbara ^^

Although I don't think this is the direction Rise of Red 2 is going towards, let's imagine the spell on the Cookbook was permanent, aka Ulyana's crew never got rid of it.

This means that Hook never became the menace of the seas nor Pan's enemy, and not even a Villain on his own, but also Harriet, Harry and CJ were never born!

Which leads to another huge absence: Mal. Because if both her parents didn't get out of the spell, they couldn't have her.

And Maleficent wouldn't have become the Mistress of all Evil, so half the foundation of the lore as we rebuilt it (reminder that the guidebook speaks explicitly of "Maleficent's takeover"!) wouldn't have happened!

Now, two main consequences:

If the Villains didn't unite under Maleficent, the Heroes wouldn't have either, hence there would be no Auradon to begin with (and also Aurora wouldn't have been cursed and all...)

The Villains did unite, but under someone else (Ursula? Evil Queen? idk), so Auradon and the Isle of the Lost were made all the same.

Judging by the finale, Auradon does exist, so the second theory is more likely.

That said, Uma was the de-facto leader of the Isle (but without Harry by her side. Perhaps Jay filled the spot?), or Evie was, since she wasn't banned. It matters little.

We know (first book) that Ben had the idea to look into the matters of the Isle of the Lost because he had dreams about Mal, who is implied to be his soulmate. No soulmate, no dream, no inspiration. Ben never tried to free the Isle kids.

Or he did, but things may have happened very differently without Mal. Uma would have been invited and her methods (and goals) would have been different. I tend to think Uma, without the added anger about Mal turning her back to the Isle, would have been able to make Ben change a few things and bring out VKs quicker. She and Evie would have become the Crown's advisors regarding the Isle matters, hence the nomination of Uma as the new Headmistress of Auradon Prep.

Now, when Red and Chloe return from their time trip, they see nothing changed but the Queen of Hearts, but maybe Auradon itself was different. Ben has no queen so far (his relationship with Audrey wouldn't have worked anyway, it's very clear from the book) or the queen is Evie? (this would be a political marriage, tho)

Or, simply, Ben isn't the High King.

Now, follow me here, it's going to be fun (I hope).

Ben didn't try to change the situation about the Isle, his first decree is about sidekicks or something. Magic folks are unhappy, they hoped things could change with a new High King, that the anti-magic laws could be lifted. They call for elections instead of letting natural succession be.

Another is chosen as High King/Queen, a more liberal one, one who likes magic and allows its use. While in contact with magicians, they expose the truth behind the Barrier and Isle of the Lost, the new ruler is horrified, but instead of inviting four random kids, they go there to see for themselves.

In this, they end up negotiating with Uma about living conditions and, as Uma is her mother's daughter, they get a contract in which they specify all the changes to be expected: freedom for the kids, new trials for Villains, policies to make the Isle more liveable, and so forth. It takes a while, but the new ruler and Uma get close enough that, by the time things settle, Uma is trusted enough to become headmistress of Auradon Prep.

Unrelated to this all, Ulyana is still out there, frozen in time, unless Ursula led the takeover specifically for her (doubtful) so she planned revenge over Bridget and also Chloe and Red, for decades.

I wanna hear your headcannons

Hmm i wasn't sure where to start, so apologies if this feels really jumbled. Also keep in mind i am cherry picking things from what dc has considered canon or not canon anymore sooooo:

starfire/koriand'r:

- Her personality is a mix of the bubbly one she has in TT03 and her NTT comic version. Warrior that will beat you to death if you wrong her, but can be very compassionate and considerate to those she loves. -struggles with social queues and human lingo (this isn't just for english, but any language. if you ever see the trouble in tokyo movie, she speaks Japanese for a scene but you can clearly hear/tell she's fluent but there's still a distinct way on how she talks/enunciates things). Since there really wasn't a "dialect/accent" for Tamaraneans, I like to think how she speaks IS the dialect/accent. And it's why her sister, Blackfire, seems to be much more "fluent". Some people can drop their accent/dialect when speaking another language, while others, no matter how much they speak in their 2nd language, will still have that accent/dialect there. (also bc i think it's a bit silly that to become MORE fluent?? you have to keep kissing? idk) - I love how she was a model for donna troy's photography gig, so i thought that would be cute to continue that (and her relationship with Donna!! bc wow did i fall in love reading about them in NTT)

Dick/Nightwing - He and batman had a fallout (he did not get "fired", but he left of his own volition. albeit on bad terms at first from differing views/ideals. I like to think that's partially why he was so moody in tt03 and why slade was such a great villain for him since slade(tt03 version) was very similar to batman at the time.

- He DOES grow out of that moody edgy phase, but he still has that bad habit of hiding his emotions/thoughts with others. While he's grown to trust them more and rely on them for missions, there's still that emotionally-constipated person that struggles to take off that "mask" and doesn't usually wear his emotions on his sleeves. And this continued to cause strain with all of his relationships. And if say a member of his team is hurt due to complications on a mission? you bet he struggles to not fall back on old habits to do things alone bc he can deal with it all by himself.

- When he's with TT, he's more relaxed and serious, but when he's back in the batfam, he ups the fake smiles and quips otherwise he might go crazy with how brooding everything is (especially being away with his found family and going "OH things don't have to be this damn depressing all the time. cool")

- remained the leader of TT in Jump City but as the team grew older and TT grew in members, things changed:

TT team:

- the older members (the ex-teens of the group) would all move on to managing their own cities or helping the younger generations (so dick in bludhaven, keystone city for wally, as well as other older members working at the east or west tower to help with younger generations not just be good heroes, but help them become capable of withstanding on their OWN. bc i like the idea the first members who [most of them] came from being in a shadow of someone else, so making sure future teen heroes don't fall into that ig?) so i guess like the JL where there's still a main core (with dick as the "leader" but the other main core can all step up to the plate too when necessary)

Batfam:

I know the new52 and crisis and yada yada has retconned and changed so much for all of their characters/stories (thanks DC). but again, these are just my AU/headcanons and anyone can disagree with what i gotta say:

- Jason todd becomes Robin ("unofficially") while Dick is a member of the tt03 team. TT03 is like... a 2 year story in my eyes? so by the end of the tt03 series, Dick becomes Nightwing and passes the mantle onto Todd. Todd is robin for like 1-2 years before his death. Tim takes up the mantle of Robin and then would either become red robin or put up the cape as he attended college AWAAY from gotham with duke and stephanie bc that would be fun (red robin, signal, and spoiler as a trio? sheeesh). Damian either joins before Tim leaves or something idk.

-babs is a bit was batgirl during dick's robin run. Would eventually become oracle and i think either staying in gotham or going to bludhaven could work.

- i know we all love the shenanigans with the batfam but i think a lot of these characters and relationships do better when they get to be independent. (which is kinda funny bc thats what bruce would want, even if he can be hypocritical and try to hold onto them due to his own trauma and unhealthy attachment.) but i would like to think eventually they could come together to help out in gotham every now and then. but who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ bat stuff isnt my biig focus hehe.

So robstar/dickory stuff:

- on the fence if they stay together after the tt03 movie or at some point they do break up but it's more bc i always felt like star/kory was giving a LOT to dick and dick still had those emotional pull-back tendencies. and what i love about these two is that we have one character who is so in tune with her emotions vs a guy that struggles not to deflect a positive remark. and while she sees through a lot of what he puts out as a front and can always recognize when he's hiding something, she can't be doing all that heavy lifting (even if she's a warrior alien princess with super strength lool). So, if they get together during their tt03 era, can they work through that? Idk ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (i also lowkey would love for some angst and rekindling as adults who've matured and have better ideas on what they want vs when they were just kids crushing on each other but it could go either way bc the tt03 did a lot of development between the two of them. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

- Dick grounds Kory. He's her sense of humanity. He's the first person she meets coming to Earth. He was always patient with her and loved showing her the world. Kory reads dick like an open book and he finds comfort in someone who can see through that facade TT03: There's a reason he hesitates to shoot her during the slade arc. why he picks her to search for slade. He can be vulnerable with her, even if it's in his weird way.

- a big fight involves moving forward in their relationship like marriage and children. To date is one thing, but to commit to something like that? To put his loved ones in danger? especially a child? He would have the fear of losing them OR his child losing HIM and kory. ofc kory would be understanding but i do think she would also get mad like "I was born to a race of warriors. Trained by the Warlords of Okaara. Am i so weak to need constant protection? I have respected the human morals to not kill, but I do not hold such beliefs and will do what is necessary to protect who I love most."

- Bruce wasn't necessarily confident in their relationship. It's a jumble of emotions that can be confusing. happy for his son to find happiness/love, sad/hurt/fear of his son moving on/away, a possessive/jealousy to keep dick around. But I do think when bruce and kory meet, he may soften a bit. I think it's why i like the idea of Tt03 star/kory meeting bruce bc she can be gentle and theres a charm about her.

Eventually they have mari! (and jake years later).

-Dick's job is to take her to school. but he's always sleeping in due to late hero shifts so it's usually a piggyback and acrobatic journey across the city to get to school on time.

-If she's hanging out in Gotham, then the public eye spread rumors bc they see her as another "black haired kid adopted by Mr. Bruce Wayne" and after 4 of them, people have just accepted the normalcy of it. ive also thought itd be interesting if she (and kory) were given some kinda tech like a watch that could disguise their appearance since big green glowing non-pupil eyes are kinda a give-away.

-jake doesn't get his powers until he's a teen. so while both kids were combat trained, he would take on the mantle of flamebird to go alone with nightwing!

The AU contains both the og web series and the new show in a kinda weird mix up. I also brought up the roles in a different post, but I’ll say them again here in a more detailed explanation:

Leslie, Seymour, and Victoria play the main three with red guy being Leslie, Duck being Seymour, and yellow guy being Victoria. I chose these three purely because their color schemes kinda fit and I grew attached to their dynamic really quickly (also accidentally made them a trio of blondes-). This also makes Roy be Mr Best and Lesly is Mrs Best. As for mirror yellow guy, that’s Victor Best.

For Sketchbook, I debated between Eileen and Violet for a bit, but decided to stay on theme with the villains and make it Eileen. She’s got some creativity… in the sense that she comes up with creative ways to make it her birthday.

For Tony (aka the clock), I had absolutely no idea for a while. Then I just randomly made it Ms Question and convinced myself that it made sense. Time makes you question stuff, right?

For Shrignold (aka the butterfly), I once again had no idea who to do. But then the idea of Mr Big as a butterfly cult leader was just to hilarious to avoid. Capitalism is a cult if you think about it.

For Colin (aka the computer) this was an extremely easy choice. It’s Tobey, no questions asked.

For the food gang (the fridge, spinach can, and meat guy) this was also easy. The only appropriate characters were the food villains, Two Brains (Spinach Can), Butcher (meat guy), and Chuck (Fridge/Bread)

For Larry (aka the lamp), the running joke in the DHMIS fandom that the Lamp is drunk instantly reminded me of Timmy Tim-Bo, so here we are.

When we get to the tv series is when things get a little messy because I have no clue who some of these characters will be.

I have no clue who the briefcase and unemployed Brendon will be. My original thought was Invisibill and BLHG, so I might just go with that.

I have no clue who the coffin will be. Maybe the Coach??

The weird family is the Botsfords. Becky is Lily, TJ is Todney, etc.

It always baffles me how daft and stupid people that vote democrat are. Me personally? I live in Texas and I vote Independent. Unless I'm faced with a choice of a literal psychopath or an asshole I don't really like all that much. Which in the last Governor race, it was one such case. Similarly, when it comes to voting for president I feel the same. I'd sooner vote Independent or write in something then vote either side unless it was like the last 2 races. However, I find it suspect all of a sudden, after his run at president where he became the most villainized man in history second only HITLER (because Auth Leftists are morons that can't condemn genocidal communist dictators) that "We are investigating every grain of sand in his life to destroy this person who supposedly wronged us". Accused of trying to steal the election. Except everything he did in that process was legal. He asked if there was anything that he could do. Up to and including asking his VP which electors to pick. Funny fact it is legal for a state to have different sets of electors. It happened during the Nixon years. Of which helped him win. Those rules have never been changed even now. And what's more, there WAS fraud. How much? We don't know. And we likely won't know until 10-20 years from now when the people that claim there is none will go, "OH well it's good there was fraud so Orange man stayed out of office....causing us to go to war with Russia, China, Iran, etc, etc, etc."

Accused of assaulting a woman over 20 years ago. Possibly over 40 years ago. Now let me be clear. Could this have happened? Sure. Did it? We have no idea. And 20-40 years is too long ago to have a decisive verdict on it. (Which brings me to another point which is the legality of the charges. So aside from statute of limitations, american citizens are allowed a right to a trial, by a jury of their peers. However, those peers must be impartial. NY is ANYTHING but impartial. They could bring charges of assassination through ninja skills on a foreign leader and NY would STILL CHARGE HIM just to do it.)

Quid Pro Quo. So the only evidence they had that this supposedly even happened was more or less ONE GUY. This man state that TRUMP expressly stated that he did not want a quid pro quo. HOWEVER, that man also believed Trump DID IN FACT want one, despite saying exactly to the contrary. What's more, let me remind all of you, Joe Biden, did that EXACT THING as VP to protect his financial asset of a son at a Ukrainian Energy company he had no business working at the board of. (1:30 Is the start of the segment.)

So all in all. MOST of the things Trump was accused of doing were outright false, or falsely placed on him. And it's because he was a human molotov cocktail. He didn't want any new wars. He wanted to bring more soldiers back from the Middle East. The Economy was GREAT. We were bringing jobs back to the US, and we had Remain in Mexico. Which was GREAT legislation. And it said, "If you are coming to the US for "Asylum" and you pass through another county on the way here you have to stay in THAT country until you can legally get processed.

Whereas now, DEM VOTING residents of NY are being told they are going to pay Billions to house, feed, and process illegals. When their own state is crumbling under the weight of its own corruption.

Which brings me to this point. Both sides need to talk about when there side is doing wrong. And most of the people I know that vote Rep very much DO talk about when their guys do wrong. The issue is that people that vote Dem seldom actually do. It's always, "Your side did X" and then when anyone else says, "OK but you side did Y and that's worse", We all get greeted with, "I don't care because at least he's not right wing. He could kill kids for all I care. I don't actually care what he does so long as it furthers my sides ideals".

And therein lies the issue. Democrats and their primary voters DO NOT GIVE A F*CK about morals. Because they have none. It's a very much "At all cost" mentality. And often based on LIES. Because if there is one thing Dems are great at, it's manipulation of information. The "Silver Tongued Devil" as it were. That's pretty much them. The founders of the KKK. hello you haven't talked about your own superhero story in awhile and I wanted to more about the order like their goals maybe some Powers or ideas behind them

Yeah It has been a while huh? Mostly I've been super busy IRL so that's why I haven't talked much about anything lateley. Alright, allow me to tell you some stuff about The Order! Ideas behind them: An Idea I knew I wanted to implement with The Order was the senses. Each order member is related to one of the main senses. Cordyceps is sight. shroom(neo pronoun of chice) can use parasitic mushrooms to watch anything that happens in the city, like a red of camaras of sorts. Since said mushrooms are parasitic shroom can also see throught the eyes of whoever is being infected. Think about how real mooshrooms have mycorrhizal networks. Harlequin would be hearing. By Shapeshifting into his hero persona it's not hard for her to catch up on the news and plans the heroes have, this plus his knowledge of pretty much any important underground movement on their villain network makes her a very useful aset to The Order. DoubleH is touch. This is pretty self explainatory, his healing powers work by making phisical contact with the wound, so yeah. He is the medic on the villains team. He wasn't to keen on joining at first since he wanted to help people, but he eventually realized that, while heroes, had a heck ton of medical assistance, no one was there to help the villains were they to get hurt. "Medical assistance is a basic human right, regardless of your ideology" so he stuck it up and switched from vigilantism to villany. Aroma is the sense of smell, with her power she can generate different smells that alter someones perception or mood. THis power, which technically sounds quite weak, is actually secretly very OP, since she can cover the groups tracks easily and oh, IDK create such a disgusting smell that it makes you sick and forces you to puke pretty much instantly. Glass Shard is our delicios sense of taste. By ingesting someones DNA he is capable of ussing that persons powers for a limited ammount of time. Technically any type of DNa would work, but he has his preference in blood and flesh since it's more available and easy to eat than hair, for example. Don't let this fool you he is perfectly capable of putting on a fight without using someone else's power. Father with his telepathic and psychic abilities would be the so called "Sixth sense" and as the leader of the organization I think it fits quite well for him to be this misterious element.

But wait, what about Neutro? Neutro is a bit of an odd case. Since he works on the shadows and is never actaully on the field, (Plus his existance is compleatly unknown to the public) he doesn't have a representative sense that describes him, but well thats to be expected, he doesn't have any enhancement either. In regards to their objective? You will have to wait for that, but if you have some theories, reading then will certenly be entertaingin for me

Stranger Things fic:

nowhere is the dreamer or the misfit so alone - I actually have most of chapter 5 written and know how the chapter will end. I'm just stuck on the scene where Max goes over to Dustin's house. I'm still not sure how close to canon I want to play it. One day I'll rewatch Stranger Things and get back to this, but I think I need to practice writing mystery and action some more so I can really do justice to bringing my plans for this fic to life

The Dragon's Bride - So in the covid brain fog I forgot where this fic was going last year. I wasn't keeping detailed notes about it so I'm just kind of trying to recreate what I want to do with this before I post anything. I have been working on the second chapter though. Overall I want it to have soft Ghibli film romance vibes

Houses of the Holy - The orphanage chapter is so hard to write. Why did I think writing out Caesar's whole life story was a good idea??? He doesn't even meet Lisa Lisa until chapter 3! Making up backstory from scratch is haaaaard. My hubris knows no bounds.

Hotel CA - Caejose pwp set in a world where vampires have overrun the world. Caesar is the leader of a little group of humans taking shelter in an old hotel with a crumbling sign. Joseph sneaks in to Caesar's suite disguised as a woman in the hopes of seducing Caesar into a false sense of security before he reveals his identity. Of course Caesar knows it's him immediately and is curious to see how far Joseph is willing to take his ruse.

Bring 'Em Back Alive - a post-PHF five-years-later fix it endgame Fugiomis fic where Fugo and Mista team up on a murder mystery mission in a Passione-run nightclub where the ghosts of their shared past are disturbed and they fall in love with each other. I'm having trouble juggling the OCs for this one. I think I have to write a more immediate post-PHF fic to establish the villains' motivation better. The playlist is already up on my fandom Spotify though I may change some of the songs around.

i wanna be a slut - this one is named after a Pansy Divison song. It's basically just modern no stands au poly!mista fic where not all Bucci gang is dating each other but Mista ends up either dating or friends with benefits with all of them. Not much angst just Mista gets to be happy and carefree and have a lot of love in his life.

idk what to call it yet I've been calling it figure drawing au or michelangelo nudes - Modern au, no stands. After Mista gets fired from his latest job because his manager hates him, Fugo offers to pay him in cash if he agrees to model for a project Fugo is working on. It's all so Pretty Woman that Mista kinda can't help but fall for Fugo, who is gorgeous and sensitive and brilliant, but Fugo is such a sad lil rich boy he can't imagine Mista wants him for anything more than his money. Mista's just so handsome and so good at living in the moment defying expectations to do whatever the fuck he wants; he's everything Fugo wishes he could be. I just want to write the Fumis romcom of my dreams where Fugo is a PhD student and polymath good at different forms of art and science and Mista's a himbo. I deserve this.

Narancia gets drunk and finally makes a move on Fugo, who gets offended Nara seems to be trying to cheat on Mista with him. Uh the draft is called Gothic Horror Pillar Men in my drafts but it's more of a bodice ripper type story. It's about Joseph being locked in his grandma's estate awaiting his upcoming marriage and interacting with the strange men who prowl the courtyard looking for something at night. Not sure if I'll ever finish this one but idk. The wedding rings play into it a lot but they're not poison in this au or like inserted into Joseph's body.

they go on to be a traveling musician and end up being like an entertainer for the previous count’s army. but they actually had good war strategies which is why count spada (? i think that was his name) decided they should be the next count

anyway arrow to the arm, no more arm

so most of the stuff as count stays the same, there’s the masquerades every year, the coliseum (unfortunately), and getting asra’s parents to make the prosthetic arm (my concept art for it :3 vvv)

most that changed is that instead of being like a loud and dramatic leader, luc is more quiet, doing everything either from complacency or to get the masses to like them. they’d host masquerades just to leave after the first five minutes

now, on montag’s end, his backstory is only changed when he didn’t kill his dad!! wow the bare minimum. he just ran away and became a mercenary. that was fine in the beginning but he eventually settled in vesuvia and opened a shop where he sells enchanted items

thats basically it? but i also have this one scene idea that i really like but idk if itll make it into when i get to writing this au down

so yk how lucio has that big painting of himself across from his bed? luc has one as well but it’s a pairing of when they were still a traveling musician as a reminder of when they actually liked living (luc especially hates how the painter still painted them with their prosthetic arm despite it depicting the time before they did)

but anyway, while luc was dying of the plague, they’d constantly throw tantrums screaming for the painting to be covered. but in the dead of night, they’d get up from their bed with their limited strength and pull the sheet covering it off and have a breakdown on the floor on their room

Why is Way of Water

Avatar Way of Water was terrible, but in very interesting ways. It's better than the first one in that it's less paint by numbers, less white-saviory, and less boring (also less voice-over, thank god), but also worse in that it's a hot mess of everything under the fucking sun. It should either be one hour shorter or five hours longer, and it's not a good thing.

IDK maybe someone should go and check in on James Cameron, because this movie felt like he wasn't sure if he'd be able to make all seven sequels, so he tried to cram all of them here. As a result I'm not even sure what the movie wanted to be about, because we had, in no particular order, protecting family, rich are evil, difficulty of dealing with change, family: nature or nurture, humans are bad, but also humanity is in a crisis, also some humans can be good, is it better to run from conflict or to face it, the curse of being the middle child, Jesus was a lil' weirdo when you think about it, killing can be good, actually, societal consequences can be unfair, marines just gotta punch something.

None of it was done with any depth or well.

There were things I found absolutely enraging:

You have two parents: the father, who is thy commanding officer, and also the sapient planet that encompasses all

Neytiri was underutilised to the point of pain. I don't recall if she was even allowed to have a relationship with her own children beyond screaming for them occasionally. The movie starts with a voice over by Jake Sully, which eh, if you must. However, most of the events of the movie affect Neytiri much more profoundly than they affect him, so centering on weakens the overall impact. Most of the attempted themes are about family, but throughout Jake treats his family like a precious resource he needs to protect for himself, so it's pretty shallow, giving me serious John Winchester vibes. Every time one of the kids said "sir" to their father I was expecting something to come out of it, like "I'm the chief, so it's appropriate in battle, but now I am no longer that, we need to re-examine our relations". Spoiler: nothing did.

Meanwhile, Neytiri, a member of a species whose community ties are reinforced by their very real deity, is there upending her whole life and severing ties to her community, she's dealing with the inclusion of aliens in her family, as the (prospective) shaman it should have been her role to be the spiritual leader, alas.

Colonel Evil Marine

Are you fucking kidding me, what the fuck. That was some bullshit, start to finish.

The technology to upload memories into avatars kinda... invalidates the whole program from the first movie? If that's possible (and there was no indication this was something only just invented), shouldn't this be done for all potential avatar operators? In case they die from, IDK, extreme mental strain and/or random bar fight.

Why would he want to be cloned as an alien in the first place?

It's not entirely unbelievable he went from a commander guy who was willing to do everything to get his job done, to a single-minded revenge machine (although... yikes), but the fact that somehow he was able to commandeer all the resources for his personal revenge?

The subplot with the son... I mean. What a weird, heavy and meaty plotline to shove onto a background character and a two-bit villain.

Unobtainium 2.0

Yeah... what. What was the point. That ties into nothing, does nothing. I swear it's like James Cameron heard about whaling for the first time during brainstorming phase, and just needed to add it.

The unobtainium from the first movie is mocked as a MacGuffin, but for however clumsily it's explained there, it's a synecdoche for the source of conflict: humanity needs resources, Pandora has resources. Even without the background information that it's apparently for space travel and magnetic properties we can understand the idea.

Here it's a magic anti-aging serum worth millions for a small vial, ergo it's for rich individuals, but that's not the conflict we get introduced to earlier, which is, to wit, "Earth is dying, humanity needs to move".

The space Jesus and the rape jokes

So run this by me again: Sigourney Weaver was not uploaded into her avatar because she died during the transfer, avatars are not transferable, so instead of burying both bodies they... put the avatar... in storage...? Also she got mysteriously impregnated? And the kids joke about their (presumably) friends and mentors... raping the corpse?

The resulting child is able to straight up control the planets biosphere with her mind. Cool.

The kids

I rather liked them, which is impressive! Child characters are hard to pull off. Aside from the smallest one, that one was entirely pointless. Certain aspects were unclear, like at some point we're expected to believe that the middle child feels like he's a disappointment to his family because... why exactly? He gets the others in trouble, sure, but it's not like he actively fails at something, other than following (somewhat arbitrary) rules. He's already a warrior by the tribe's standard (I presume, by the fact he is involved in the attack early on), but he gets grounded like a child? His subplot with the whale suggests he's uncomfortable with societal rules, doesn't understand them and wants to do his own thing, except he very clearly isn't and doesn't, he gets in trouble for disobeying the letter not the spirit of the rules. He doesn't even get a proper "well done son guy", and his "reconciliation" with Jake is teaching him the water tribe skills, which would matter more if a) Jake was at any point having trouble with adjusting to living in the water, b) the skills were what was the problem.

Spider was fascinating. First, who did his manscaping? I demand to know! But jokes aside, if not about Neytiri the movie should have been about him.

I was really mad when I walked out of the cinema, and I had a hard time enjoying the visuals because there were just too many concepts to be absorbed and then disappointed by. There's so much in here that could have been a great movie! Or three! But like so many current blockbusters it feels like this movie was written by an AI, words slapped on a page, superficially connected and making sense, but the number of fingers does not add up to a hand.

one group of self-proclaimed supervillains lives together in the formerly-bustling verbena motel, a bed and breakfast that scrapes by using the New New Jersey Supervillain Education Clause which states that a villain cannot be arrested in an educational building (which the motel technically counts as since it houses a library).

MOTEL RESIDENTS

nurse hurtem: medschool drop out who became an underground boxer. originally started boxing to make money for student loans, but found out she liked it more than becoming a doctor. grew up with absent business-minded parents who tossed her into various schools for troubled youth since she would act out for attention. unofficial leader of the verbena motel villain team! sarcastic, snarky, and quick to anger, but sisterly at heart

trajothaddeus “traj” captio: nepobaby alien crashing here to hide from intergalactic authorities on fraud charges. heir to the throne of a vast scrapping empire (but unwilling to get his hands dirty), he was taught from a young age to let others do the work for him. talks big game about receiving checks from his father, but refuses to reveal that he’s been excommunicated. surprisingly good inventor and engineer! currently running influencer scams despite having three followers. stuck-up, dramatic, and organized

misery: psychic delinquent teen child of famous abstract fashion designer parents. sent to a school for troubled youth after an incident where they exploded a salad bar with their mind at school. has the ability to speak to spirits and manipulate shadows, along with telekinesis. weirdgirl supreme. always staring at people. usually has bugs in pocket. doesn’t talk often or emote outwardly, but their intentions are in the right place. offputting, genuine, and quiet

KEVIN LASTNAME: amnesiac deity of ultimate destruction. during an incident roughly a year ago where a group of teens summoned him on accident and he was attacked out of fear in his fragile, freshly-formed state, he was injured severely and staggered in the night until he came across the motel. knocking on the door and seeking refuge, he was then concussed a second time at the door because hurtem saw a twelve foot tall skeleton thing and was scared. on coming to, he had no idea of any aspect of his past or where he came from. scared of modern technology. too strong for his own good, resulting in being the muscle of the team. incredibly loud, blunt, and frankly stupid as rocks, but he tries his best. powers include whatever i think is funny

the lobotomizer: co-founder of the motel with her mafioso wife, betty bundtcake. used to date big tech mogul franka richter, but was murdered by her after seeing something she shouldn’t have. she qaunlived out of sheer spite, piecing herself together until she was whole again- at the price of her sanity. she and her wife made the motel out of necessity for those needing a little help hiding from the law (or anyone really) or just a place to stay. means well and cares for those she loves, but can be (always is) unethical in her studies and experiments. good-natured, humorous, and slightly off-kilter. has a zombie wiener-ish dog named frankie.

NNJ JUNOR HERO LEAGUE

secret admirer: a programming and engineering whiz, along with having healing powers and enhanced speed, she's a shoe in for the NNJ junior hero league. cares deeply about her teammates and hopes they're able to stick together once they all graduate into the big league. caring, passionate, but tends to be too modest for her own good

high roller: has the power of supernaturally high luck. originally put this to use at the big casino in the city, but was caught and recruited to the junior league as an alternative to legal punishment. found out she likes the attention from hero work more than the pay (which is still rather decent) and has been on the right side of the law ever since. a little bit of a show off, good-spirited, and witty

screwloose: former quantum physicist permanently altered after an experiment gone wrong. now abides by toon logic and physics and has gone completely insane. loose cannon of the group, forcibly entered into the league by the hero council of the city due to the potential danger they could put the city in with their powers. they only stay because it's entertaining. unpredictable, snarky, and irresponsible

phenomenon: also entered the league willingly. general generic superstrength type hero, though he's got a huge heart, for better or for worse. along with this he's not the sharpest tool in the shed, but he always lifts all of his teammates up and to victory! kind, sensitive, loyal, and a little oblivious

adam "the intern" subtract: who is this guy?? whatever. he can make more or less of certain objects. kind of sucks ngl

MISC. CHARACTERS

wilbur "riff" captio: older brother to traj. got the short end of the stick nepotism-wise and received poor treatment on the job and all through life in general. his father tested a workplace-boosting energy drink on him that left him permanently scarred and prone to transforming into a giant beast, so he packed his shit and left. was hunted by traj for years on a mission from their father to drag him back to work, but has managed to evade capture since traj was exiled. currently working as a con-man selling bullshit outside of casinos and in those little kiosks in the middle of mall aisles

megabyte: vampire computer virus supervillain, and 1/6 of the NNJ Official Villain Council (which is not legally recognized by the government). feeds by draining electricity and data from machinery, and can infect other mechanical beings or devices to sap energy for her for limited periods of time. has a little lightbulb themed cronie named wattson. incredibly cheesy, snooty, and not actually that evil

franka richter: born without powers, she had to scrape to the top through will alone, all while battling the unexpected heart failure of her young adult love, laura albrecht. current founder and CEO of PHYSM, a company that makes basically everything in the area and sponsors the hero league- though they're most famous for smartphones and home assistants a la google. known publicly as a major philanthropist and community pillar, though that couldn't be farther from the truth. retired heroes keep going missing or being found dead. nobody is investigating. everything is fine.

Alright I know we were just talking about a brand new AU but my mind immediately went to another AU idea, just cause the AU was about being transported to a new world

What if the Champions all got transported to versions of their world where the Villain Team won?

Cause like, I imagine some of the worlds having rebellions against those Villain Teams, like Unova, Kalos, Hoenn, Kanto, and Johto. Pretty much the regions where they aren’t all dead like Sinnoh and potentially Galar and Alola/ain’t rebelling against an actual evil team like Paldea

But like I also what to maximize the potential angst and have people like Iris, Diantha, and Lance be dead in those alternative universes but still have family/friends who are alive

Cause imagine seeing your daughter die in a fight or smth years ago and now she just suddenly appeared all confused about what’s happening. Drasna was probably weary at first but after realizing it’s not a trick she  immediately pulled Dia close and comforted her, trying (and failing) not to cry. She can ask questions later about how she’s here and not six feet under where she was buried

And like Clair probably cried so fucking much when she realized Lance was back, even if it wasn’t their Lance. She’s just happy her cousin parental figure is back. And compared to Dia and Drasna it had Lance comforting Clair about how he’s okay and such. Ough Silver probably cried just as hard but also tried to hide it

OUGH what if Iris died young? Like she became Champion at 12 so what if Neo Plasma Ghetsis killed her at 13-15?? And like I’m taking inspiration from a fic I read but imagine she got killed on live tv? Either hanged or shot. Like she finally got captured by Neo Plasma and was executed on live tv to show Team Plasmas power. Cause if they can kill the Champion and her Pokémon then they could kill anyone

Like these mfs crucified the gym leaders in front of N’s castle in the manga, I think they’d be fine with murdering a teenager on tv for everyone in the world to see the power they had

But the direction I was going was that she died young, and people like Drayden wished they could’ve seen her grow up like she was supposed to. Seen the kind of person she ended up being. But now Iris, fresh in her twenties, suddenly appears where the Unovan rebellion is. When she’s been dead for years. But ough yeah after the initial shock it’s just Drayden holding Iris close and telling her how big she’s grown and that he’s so proud of her. Something he wishes he could still do. Ough your honour that’s his granddaughter

Fuck imagine when the news spread, the Unova kids are gonna be there right away to see Iris again. Gon be a shit ton of crying and yelling about the fact an Iris from another world got sent here, a world where she and the rest of the League won

I honestly don’t know much about the Kalos, Kanto, and Johto stories so idk what change happened for the Leagues to lose, but for Unova ig it changed when Nate/Rosa died to Kyurem during the Ghetsis battle

Also idk if this makes much sense to you and I tried to word it clearly but it’s like 2:40am when I finished this and just wanted to write down my thoughts before I go to sleep

Also imagine them telling Iris how she died in their universe tho, fucking imagine that fucking her up too cause Plasma really killed a child.

And ough Lance and his fam too cjdmdbdj man Clair would not let go of him anymore bet hahaha like homegirl saw her cousin, who's basically her brother at this point and parental figure, die before her eyes and now he's here again and she's not gonna let him go, not anymore, she's not gonna let him die again and just cbmdnd ough Lance pulling Clair close to him, rubbing circles on her back, telling her that "I'm here, I'm here, it's okay.. Silver's there trying real ass hard not to cry, but then Lance looks at him, worried as he opened his arms, and Silver rushed and crashed on them, holding both them close, still trying to hold in his tears. But ough cbxnxb Lance just kisses the top of his head, telling him that it's okay to cry, it's okay, "I'm here now, it's okay.."

Then Dia and Drasna pls your honour I'm being plagued by thoughts abt them in the toh au now this and just cbmdnd😭😭

Man Drasna's also not letting Dia go hahah and like yknow, Drasna's just fucking vibing bc her daughter is back, she's back and alive and well and not a single scratch on her and she's just so happy to see her again bcmdnd imagine Drasna cupping Dia's cheeks, her hands were trembling, voice wracked w tears, as she gently bumped their foreheads together, smth she always did w her kids when they were younger, and she's there softly caressing Dia's cheeks, whispering mostly to herself, "oh, my dear girl.. my darling Diantha.. you're back home.. you're finally back home to me.."

Armored x Magic girls ‘title forever work in progress’ extra 2

there's few stories i didn't mention that could be part of 2nd era. I mostly forgot to mention them as this were either recycled or fantasies that lit up like a candle and burned out like a candle. heck one was too dark so it got trashed. you can't compare these to key stories from the series.

anyway i just remembered a few.

there's few possession stories

like a young soldier who miraculously wakes up uninjured after being attacked on battlefield. her army is hunting demons and moving to next location but injured are sent back. the injured set camp in ruined catacombs but bandits use this location too and then our girl loses consciousness and bandits are mysteriously picked one by one in the dark. so this was a possession story where the spirit was evil but the girl's safety was his own with the girl first scared of being discovered but then liking the power.

this one lived shorter then the candle. someone at the cemetery released a trapped spirit. the spirit was evil and the girl was only in control when it needed rest... this one is kinda reverse of the above one.. idk which direction i would go.. was the spirit redeemable? but she was like a side character. this was part of the earth armored side of the show.

recycled where the spirit was good so the 2 were like Zorro, Batman doing stuff during night. the spirit was prideful so it did cause some trouble in the day. the girl was just a poor citizen living in slums of noble controlled city where nobles were dabbling in evil dark magic. This is the story that had the random npc eccentric physically manifested spirit who fights with violin bow as if it was a blade all while taking a pause to play the violin and then breaking it over opponents head picking another from his coat. (i mean the bow did have steel sharp ends that were hidden so the lid had to be taken off first)

there's few 'i thought you were dead but now you want to kill me' stories.

technically this one was also possession.. and also removed from key stories for being too dark. technically it was only there because it was one of the early ideas for 2nd era. this magic girls lost a member a long time ago but now a serial killer is taunting them dressing victims like that girl putting wigs on them and setting traps so that magic girls trying to save them are actually the one killing 'em in few situations. but this mysterious killer doesn't want to kill the magic girls but to instead scar them mentally and physically. in the end it's actually the believed to be dead friend except it wasn't her but spirit feeding of their sufferings. in the end you think it's all over and the final girl killed a friend that could have been saved if she knew but the spirit actually won because it possessed her now.

one where some armored team died trying to destroy a base but then the new team has to deal with random powerful 3rd enemy who is after vengeance as he believes he was abandoned and is targeting the member that got out safe.

one where armored girls are being targeted by powerful unknown enemy toying with them (there's few versions where this would be dark) on the other hand the believed to be dead character is discovered but she doesn't want to fight anymore but for some reason she's secretly out for vengeance. now that i remember new team leader was the only one that knew her everyone else was new? and it wasn't a small group.

there's few 'i used to be villain stories'

there's actually 2 stories that are the same but have difrent turns. like defeated evil sorceress being among heroes and going back to school. her old gang has no idea. in one version she fights her old gang as this reincarnation has the life she actually wanted in 2nd story she was after mc looking to use their fake friendship to get her soul using simple trick (simple as vampire being hey can i come in and of course you'd let a friend in and then you're Anakin killing younglings) in this story they're problem for people in future who know about how one day this school was destroyed but not how or that the dark knight is trapped mc from this.. i mean just like in KR Kiva her story would then be the past.

recycled that used to be a game idea. villain gets defeated but is returned to student days in the past the setting was more like martial school with a lot of nature and cottages instead of buildings/rooms. in the game version you'd secretly use the future knowledge to improve your life and maybe prevent some other events that effect the kingdom or town story is set in or events that set your path towards villainy.

few secret character stories

like the chosen one that's the only descendant from this family who can use the special sword of her ancestor. blood in her body allowing her to wield the sword. but in the end she's just a distant cousin that was acting like a real for the real chosen. and when the enemy infected her with a blood taint making her unable to use the sword she says "i'm not the only one who can use it" as she tosses it in the air and mysterious cloaked girl grabs it.

or the adventures group going from town to town and when real shit starts member of some known elite shows up to save the day or was already there like a really cheerful kind women who turns out to be elite member that actually has scary reputation not only that but she's a summoner/necromancer so this peasant looking lady also summons an army of darkness xD

don't really remember this one. setting was kinda 1930 but it was either another planet or dimension. there was a waitress there seemingly a normal character until she had to fight. 100% sure she was actually Irene.

this one only had one scene and it was school getting attacked as Gabriela shows up and somethin, somethin i think other students tell her their friend inside should be fine as she's a master of trickery and setting traps. so Gabriela is huh had a friend like that so when they meet this girl is like how about a sparring match and that was basically Irene intentionally giving herself away. there actually was an idea to have a sparing match at the end of 1st era just to show what the fight between would actually look if they actually got serious but it was pushed out by new ideas.
