Humans hunt vampires and they’re often outcased/killed, although there’s been more recently since they’re learning from a young age to disguise themselves and can now hide their teeth.

also there's a couple types of vampires: some who melt in sun but have wings and can eat normal diets and those who don’t melt in sun, don’t have wings and need a little bit of blood in their diets (but it can be from like,, animals. It doesn’t have to be humans)

the vampires who melt in the sun (ILL CALL EM MELTY BOYS) are super rare so unless stated otherwise, whenever i say “X is a vampire” i'm referring to the not melty ones with no wings

- cause outing someone as a vampire is actually so low that even thought like yeah,, not everyone likes vampires but like no one’s gonna like u either bc you outed them on something so personal and something they trusted you with

- sabrina doesn’t care if chloe’s a vampire she still really cares about her

- but sabrina wouldn’t like it if anyone else was a vampire

- also another thing about chloe she tends to act like she hates vampires to avoid detecting from the Vamp Police 

- ig the vamp police is like sabrina’s dad who really hates vampires and actively looks for them (which is part of the reason sabrina isn’t a big fan of vampires either.)

- they’re not called the vamp police it’s just the police but i like saying that

- like i said before alix is Vampire and basically learns who’s a vampire in the class super quickly

- she knows what to look for when someone’s hiding their identity and knows she’s not the only vampire in the class

- she also figures out everyone’s super hero identities (which is why she gets the rabbit miraculous)

- max knows from stats that it’s likely that there's a couple people in the class who are vampires

- KIM DIDN’T ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT A VAMPIRE WAS BECAUSE HIS FAMILY THOUGHT IT WOULD SCARE HIM SO THEY NEVER TOLD HIM LMAO

- max had to teach him (with the help of alix) what a vampire was but it took like an hour

- the only reason kim actually learned something is because his boyfriend told him that if he paid super close attention (after running through the whole presentation like 3 times) he would give him a smooch

- after that kim grew a big brain and learned everything

- both of their parents and ondine would be super accepting if they were vampires tho

- also a little more lore its not biological if you’re a vampire or not it’s purely chance

you are absolutely right to feel this way. scott and stiles started kissing when they were very very young. at first it just kinda happened naturally like, i read this headcanon or maybe fic where one of them, let’s say scott, is just so used to getting kisses from people he loves that as a tiny child he just picked it up and passed it onto stiles, kissing him all the time just to show he’s happy. kissing him hello and kissing him when he laughs and when he thanks him for sharing his toys and when leaves the stilinski house after their play dates. when he first does it stiles laughs and asks what he’s doing, only his mom kisses him like that. and scott just shrugs and smiles and says that’s what his whole family does, any time they say hello or goodbye or really just any time they’re happy. but stiles really likes it anyway so he grins right back and smooches scott while they both tumble down giggling.

once they start real school though they realize it isn’t really, well, normal for friends to be kissing all the time like that, so they just sorta stop for awhile. they don’t even talk about it it just kinda happens one day, scott runs up to stiles at his cubby to say good morning and gives him a peck, a little bounce in his step as he reaches up for the kid’s forehead. but he looks down perplexed cuz stiles has this weird look on his face, and his gaze is past scott’s shoulder to the kids behind him, who are staring and starting to whisper. stiles mumbles good morning and ducks his head down, scurrying around scott to get to his seat on the carpet in front of the teacher. after that it only takes a few minutes before they’re squirming side by side on the floor, whispering in each other’s ears and poking each other’s legs and giggling again like always. scott figures it was just first day jitters earlier, everything’s back to normal.

for the next few years their affection transfers from baby kisses to general young boy roughhousing, shoving and slapping and tumbling around to get the energy out. absent touches and caresses just happen all the time- scott knows when stiles needs to feel him close to calm his nerves, a soft rub on the back of his neck or between his thumb and index finger can do wonders. stiles knows when scott’s feeling down and just what he needs to perk up, knows how to get that smile back on his face just by slinging his arm over scott’s shoulder and pulling him close.

when they discover alcohol for the first time it’s like the curtain is finally dropped, like those invisible barriers they thought they’d built for the world were really just that- invisible, incorporeal, not real. all it takes is one shot from the sheriff’s liquor cabinet and they’re rolling around on the floor in front of the tv, laughing up a lung and clinging to each other like the ground is about to drop out from underneath them. scott’s face is in his neck and stiles can hear his heart pounding outside his chest when he feels scott’s breath ghost his skin and the goosebumps rise under the cool air. he almost panics but scott takes that second to tug him closer, wrapping his legs around stiles like a pretzel and clasping his hands together behind him. scott can feel stiles’ heart beating too, and then he feels his friend’s fingers in his hair, fanning out to rub the base of his neck like he usually does for stiles. scott picks up his head slowly to look stiles in the eye, and they lie there like that for a few minutes in silence, syncing their breaths into a gentle rhythm.

‘you know what?’ stiles says‘what?’ scott breathes.‘i’m sorry i didn’t kiss you back.’‘what do you mean?’‘that day, that first day of school, i.. i.... i panicked.’‘what? you mean like back in first grade? how do you even remember...’‘i never forgot.’‘wh-’‘i never forgot, and i’m sorry.’

andromeda talk! i'm about 13 hours in at this point. this will be somewhat scattered as i've been playing most of the day and haven't... made much in the way of posts.

spent most of the day on eos, completing pretty much every quest i could; i still have some left to do there but from what i can tell they're either collection quests or behind the too-hazardous field. i guess i have to wait for the atmosphere to clear up. definitely an interesting mechanic, all told.

the whole vault thing was.... IT WAS A LOT, GOTTA ADMIT. honestly it really reminded me of halo? mass effect has always had some pretty obvious parallels to halo, but that whole area looked like it could have come out of a halo game, complete with gravlifts (although no lightbridges, lmao). i'm not honestly sure what happened at the end there??? but it was a very intense sequence. fighting the remnant reminds me of fighting the forerunners, a bit, although it's also clearly a callback to fighting the geth in me1.

i really feel like mea is, in general, bioware's attempt to combine all of me1-3 into one game, with the most heavy inspiration drawn from me1. which is not a bad thing, honestly; i try not to pick a favorite from the trilogy because they all have their flaws, but me1 is a very, very solid game. having planet exploration be improved and expanded is absolutely a good thing.

anyway, i've just reached aya and recruited jaal into the party, and honestly i was really, really underwhelmed by that entire sequence. the thing that bothers me the most is the language aspect. i was REALLY happy with how the kett were handled at the beginning of the game; it was really neat to land in a new galaxy and meet hostile aliens and be fighting enemies marked as "unknown" because you cannot understand the language.

in contrast the angara were handled very clumsily; within moments the universal translator kicked in (itself a cheap plot device) and they could all understand each other. but more than that, the angara knew who ryder was and where she came from and what the pathfinder was and ????? ??? ????? what the fuck? I HAVE NEVER MET YOUR SPECIES BEFORE, WHERE ARE YOU GETTING THIS INFORMATION? i could buy it if they said something about idk meeting some of the exiles from the mutiny, or picking up from comms, BUT NOTHING. LITERALLY NOTHING.

dreck! i love dreck. i love all krogans though so i'm biased. (well ok there was that one guy in me2 or 3 or w/e but in general, i love krogans.) from a design standpoint, i don't super love his color scheme? wrex and grunt had really bold, interesting color schemes that really worked; dreck doesn't and instead looks a bit drab. i'll get used to it, i'm sure, but eh.

also apparently he's an infiltrator so i'll never get to use him :'( (i play infiltrator)

i am in love with vetra and i'm so glad she's bi because i'm gonna smooch her

i have mixed feelings on cora, mostly because she feels like miranda 2.0 and i don't think it's handled well. also it's fucking bullshit that she's straight. i have never seen a more lesbian haircut in my life. (i'm joking, but seriously, she's not straight.)

i really don't like peebee. she feels like liara 2.0 but in a really bad way, like all of liara's bad qualities and none of the good ones (and perhaps a bit of tali, as well). i found her really obnoxious down on eos and her behavior on the ship has not endeared her to me. sigh.

I REALLY LIKE LIAM. LIAM IS MY DUDE. actually i'm kinda torn on whether to smooch liam or vetra because i def like both of them. liam has been cool since the start of the game.

other crewmates... a bit unsure about suvi, mostly because the religion stuff kinda came out of left field to me (and also because i know how mass effect games work and gods don't come into them). she seems perfectly nice though and i did apologize to her for being somewhat abrupt about her opinions.

i like kallo! i'm glad there's a salarian on board and it's neat he helped build the ship.

I'M PRETTY UNSURE ABOUT SAM. at times ryder and sam feel like a partnership, and at times not. again, i know how mass effect games work. THIS CAN'T END WELL.

of course i say that and i'm someone who fucking prefers synthesis so the fucking joke's on me
