Today's my birthday and I got some stuff on my mind

Ash and Pikachu retiring as the lead characters of the Pokémon anime is not the news I wanted to hear on my birthday like WHY CAN'T Y'ALL WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW TO TELL ME?

The Beauty and the Beast 30th anniversary got me in my feelings so much. I loved the 1991 film growing up, the 2017 version was alright, but OMG H.E.R. as Belle! As a fellow Blasian (I'm Afro-Indigenous on my dad's side and Bengali through my mom), this means a lot to me since all I got as a kid were Jasmine and Tiana (no shade to them, they're cool). Also, the tribute to Angela Lansbury was beautiful. I had always seen Mrs. Potts as a mother figure and I feel that even with her own spin, Shania Twain did the song justice ❤️

geniunely I've been trying to find a job for the past year and besides walmart (the place i quit from 😭) will hire me, no one will even tell me I've been rejected, I've applied to jobs and I just get ghosted. it's fucking hell bc i never had a job (besides helping my parents clean) as a teen so i don't have much experience so no one will hire me. also every fucking job around me besides the same 10 retail jobs that keep putting up applications is some sort of nursing/law/construction work which i am too physically weak for construction and the other 2 you kinda need a degree to even get into it...

not to mention for said degree at this point you'd be throwing your money away, like geniunely i feel like college is useless at this point which sucks so bad bc i actually wouldn't mind trying to go but whats the point of going and putting all this effort for nothing?

also also the one job i recently got an interview with (pizza hut 😐) i literally came in and they were like oh we're not hiring but we'll let you know bc so many people quit like really? go fuck yourself.

it makes me feel so fucking worthless bc we're struggling and i feel like a piece of shit gaming most of my day but literally NO FUCKING JOB WANTS ME. like i even tried the stupid appen website but no one will even take me on there and i think its bc i didn't have my payment set but literally when i tried to set it up it told me oh get your first job then we'll set it up!! like what the fuck

at most i see him like being awkward at the beginning of the relationship when its still new cus he doesnt know what to do (lol loser) but i still know he'd very much try. cus thats the thing youre not just a random you're his person. you're his one and he's obv gonna show you that because otherwise whats the point

I’ve been seeing lots of jokes about how asoryuu fans, when asked “well then why does phoenix exist?” just say that one of the two has to be trans - which in their defense is fucking hilarious, but because I’m so so cringe I was wondering; we know ryuu is his ancestor certified but could he share traits with kazuma? THE ANSWER IS YES. OMG ITS YES.

phoenix has these gray-brownish eyes (that capcom retconned and made blue in his 3d model - but because for the majority of the series he has these gray ones I ignore that)

now obviously phoenix has access to wig-styling grade hair product in “2019��� while kazuma had to make do with some pomade but they’re both spiky and the spike origins on their foreheads almost match, it’s just so UGH OMGGGGGG
