Idk if you’ve answered this before but how did you get into divination? What started your journey? And do you have anyone around who’s into it as well? A friend or a mentor?

Hi :) I haven't answered this question yet and it's fine dw (but there may be a triggering mention -I'll signal that).

It happened by chance (or by fate, as I like to think). A few years ago, I joined tumblr with a blog about something unrelated (graphic edits, music... in particular something that I had not just much before got into -again by chance/fate), and somehow I ended up in the astrology and tarots communities. I have always kinda felt attracted by astrology and tarots, especially astrology tbh, but never got that deep into them. They just happened to be around me too and I occasionally used to read some astrology-related stuff by myself. Anyway, I joined a couple of games here and there just to check, and then I had a dream which totally made me think and realize I could do something more as well. I tried to learn more about tarots also on youtube and other sources but in the meantime I worked the most with my intuition and clairs (even if at that time I wasn't too aware it was them -always kinda used them unconsciously btw), trying to do something for others too and gaining experience/understanding what was going on. I made my own tarot deck and started to implement it in my practices (using it first with myself to see how and if it worked); then I created a bunch of small one-word cards and tried to work with them as well and I ended up channeling something very very touching (and funny LOL) for me from one of my Guides (which I think is... also my person, Idek), that connected also with the start of my journey into divination (that fated thing I mentioned in the beginning). (TW) I had another sign about this one pretty cold and foggy day in which I felt particularly down and like I had no way out (I had important depression periods and some kind of thoughts about me, let's say, in a certain moment of my life): first a little bird happily singing out of my window and then a song related to my feelings in that moment that was mentioned to be released soon kinda brought me back and avoided the worst (very likely) (/TW). I got back up and I kept giving as a way to help and possibly give hope the same way I got helped and given hope (probably did that a bit too much though as my boundaries weren't good), and got a burnout, after which I had a breakdown (or huge tower moment, if you want) because of too many tough things happening in my personal life, and I just had to move away for a while to start my healing journey on my own. I kept practicing for myself just for comfort (my Guides were always sending me messages and never left me alone). After I started to feel better I decided (I needed, actually) to come back as psychelis, with a lot of thick walls that I had builded up from all that I have been through, but still I wanted to be of help to you. By chance I realized I had developed more clairs than before but controlling them was still hard. Then yeah the bug happened and moved onto this blog, where I am still trying to learn, heal and help you. And trying to let down my walls so to probably help you better, Idk. I don't have friends or mentors into tarots or astrology tbh, I am alone in this (except for my Guides which basically taught me most of what I know now through meditation and constant talking). Not sure if I will meet someone in the future, but I hope so.

Mmmh tbh I talked about it with a friend, and we found it weird that she was able to do a briede pc with Vedic astrology?? Because there are no asteroids in Vedic astrology. So something must have been wrong here. Moreover, nah, Vedic astrology and Tropical Astrology aren't based on the same type of astrology. So not really. I would say this has nothing much to do with each other (the astrology).

Short disclaimer from my side here: I haven’t formed an opinion on everyone’s potential rising sign, so with some I might have no opinion to begin with.   Also: very long post ahead, continue reading under the cut! 

Taeil: I think Cancer rising fits pretty well, I personally could see Taurus rising as well. Cancer and Taurus rising tend to ‘stretch’ the face at times or make it look a bit wider in some sort of way - and this is not meant in a negative way btw, just an observation! But yes Cancer rising could make his Venus/Mercury in the 1st as well, Moon in Leo (2nd) being the chart ruler; with a Taurus rising his Mars (potentially) in the 1st, with Venus in Cancer (1st) being the chart ruler. Taeil is not really someone with a personality that is really ‘in your face’, he’s more ‘reserved’ in that kind of way and goes with the flow, very warm though and definitely likes to joke around. I can see both!

Johnny: confirmed Virgo rising.

Taeyong: the most clichee Pisces rising I’ve witnessed so far asdfg, especially in combination with his water sun. He has not only his Saturn in the 1st as well, but also his chart ruler in Capricorn (in the 11th, funny enough), from that alone his Ascendant really makes sense.

Yuta: Personally I have a hard time seeing Capricorn Ascendant, for me Aries rising would make the most sense still, but looking at Yuta being extremely ambitious (and serious as well at times) I can see where you come from, alsoooo he is very known for his smile, which would highlight the teeth again, very fitting to Capricorn risings - the most I’ve met so far had usually very big teeth, also a very very pretty smile that has always been so strongly in contrast witrh their usual facial expression haha. I’ve written quiet a bit on my guessings on his possible rising sign, especially on Aries, with Leo, Sagittarius and Libra being my other guesses, so feel free to check that out on my blog as well if you want to! x

Kun: (oK SORRY long rant ahead, I just really think that’s a very interesting opinion!!) I can totally see why you think Cancer rising, in the years I spent studying astrology I’ve noticed that Capricorns with prominent cancer in their chart all tend to radiate the same sort of wholesome energy, and I don’t mean this in a biased way, but they have this very silent yet steady confidence and are really really warm and caring people, especially when they have a cancer moon! That being said, having 5th house in his ruler would explain his strong creativity (+ Leo rising) plus I’d give him his 6th house stellium in Capricorn, which would explain his extreme multi tasking while still being very successfull in doing so haha. I like to take Bang Chan from Stray Kids as another example here for someone with a 6th house stellium, though in another sign,  the similarities are still there. With him having a 3rd decan Cancer rising he’d have a Capricorn and 7th house stellium, plus having his chart ruler in Taurus in the 11th - very focused on others and tending towards their needs, let’s just put it like that. He’s extremly responsible and very protective of his group, this plays into both stereotypes for Leo and Cancer when they are in a leader type position - or see someone as family. Appereance wise -  if he’s not styled and in a photo shooting, so very much set in pose, etc - he looks very youthful/youngish, which plays a lot in a Cancer ascendant, also: I remember him saying that he’s actually very emotional which could be due to his possible Cancer rising or just his heavy Capricorn stellium and Scorpio in the 4th (regarding his Leo rising again) trying to remember everyone else he’s still human after all (which...makes me kinda sad to think about but, I was really positively surprised as he so casually just admitted that). When he’s performing all screams Leo Ascendant to me though. ANYWAYS, I wrote a whole paragraph and I will end it here or I end up writing yet another novel about someones potential rising sign.

Doyoung: Scorpio rising makes so much sense when you think about his Virgo MC asdfghj Doyoung has zero Virgo in his chart except for his MC and yet he radiates big Virgo energy, which is all thanks to his rising and MC

Jungwoo: Ohhh I get your confusion, Jungwoo is a true engima asdfghj my gut feeling always tells me Libra rising simply from his facial structure alone, but tbh I think all about him is just so.....Pisces? He has is sun and Neptune in a degree of 0 so simply based on his sun sign he radiates strong Pisces energy, but since I’m very torn on the topic of his rising sign as well I’d consider almost every rising sign as his potential ascendant

Lucas: I could see Leo rising, but I also feel Sagittarius rising. Sagittarius rising simply by his physique, but with Pluto in the 12th and his Jupiter in Pisces in the 4th as his chart ruler. Leo rising would make more sense regarding the MC (would be in Taurus then), though I’d say his Moon would rather still be in the 9th and not in the 10th. But he has an Aquarius stellium after all, so lots of things would probably be covered up by that to begin with asdfghj, but yes I can see Leo rising as well, defenitely!!

1. How often do you real “real books” over fanfiction? Never? lol I mean, I have several that I’ve been meaning to get to, but I haven’t been reading a whole lot of anything, and my fic list-to-read is just more tempting atm!

Oh gosh--I mean I will look at that stuff from time to time and sometimes it can be so accurate and sometimes I don’t relate at all. I definitely wouldn’t let it drive my life or base decisions on what astrology says--for example, @lqtraintracks and I have looked at couples compatibility based on our signs and it basically said we’d be better friends than a couple and that’s just a bunch of bs right there. ;) 

7. What magical theory that is never explained in the Harry Potter books would you like to explore more fully? since @lqtraintracks and I have had many many discussions about privacy spells and Muffliato and how that works--do you cast it on yourself, do you cast it on other people and it fills their ears with buzzing? Can you cast it just on one person or is it a whole group thing--basically how the f does that work? So maybe that? I know that’s a super boring answer, but I mean, there has to be a better privacy spell than Muffliato, is all I’m saying.  

8. What do you do to get yourself out of a funk/depression? Watch something stupid or something I’ve seen a thousand times. Like comfort food, but tv. Usually something Star Trek or I’ve been going back to The Good Place a lot! But honestly, if I’m feeling down, sometimes the best way to cope is just to accept that I’m having a sad day or a down day and if I just let myself be okay with that and not try to force myself to adult or cheer up or be happy, that can really help. That and sleep.

@ar-se-ne: IDEK how long I’ve been following Cristian, but he’s a really nice guy with whom I have similar interests. He’s also someone that I’ve kind of of been inspired by in some ways. I don’t want to get too personal information, but it involves introspection and self improvement and yeah. I’m proud of him. He should be proud of himself.

@chujo-hime: I remember like circa 2012-2013 I had a ~moment~ because the webmaster of FYBN followed me. Chujo always has quality content, and is someone I respect for being very genuine and respectful. If something’s drawn her ire or made her bitter, she has a reason for it, and can write a solid meta on why it’s bullshit. At the same time, she’s someone who I’ve looked to when I consider how to handle my own fandom disagreements. It’s not worth arguing with people on the internet, it’s never fun. So long as people enjoy what they enjoy? Stay in their lane and let others do the same? We can all get along~~~

@cimikat: Katie is another person who I don’t even remember following. I can’t really remember my tumblr experience before her, though? I can say without any hyperbole though that she’s probably the nicest person I’ve ever encountered on this website? Literally, I can’t think of a single time I’ve seen her be salty. Upset and disappointed, sure, but she doesn’t wallow in negativity the way some people do and have in the past. If she enjoys something, she’s enthusiastic about it. If she no longer enjoys it? You won’t see her b*tch about it. She’s just very upbeat.

@dazzledfirestar: Daz shares my love of certain villains (Sin and Crossbones) while fully recognizing they’re deplorable human beings. That’s just one of the more superficial reasons I respect her. She’s another person who’s also genuine, and whom by following I feel like I’ve actually learned a lot? And I actually like to learn. Ignorance isn’t always mean spirited, and in the past I’ll admit I’ve been an ignorant white boy. Not that I was prejudice, there was just a lot I was either blind to or unaware of.  I’ve learned a lot about Romani culture by following Daz. A lot of history, a lot about the struggles and persecution they still face to this day. I also learned lot about the LGBT community; which honestly was a big help when I was trying to figure out/accept my bisexuality.

@diaryofawriter: What do I even say about you? believe we met because we both RP’d in the same fandoms and enjoyed the same content. Comics, OUAT, Harry Potter, and Star Wars. She’s both listened to me flail or rant countless times, either feigning or expressing genuine interest… for that I’m truly appreciative. She’s also helped me when it comes to letting go of things that are no longer fun or enjoyable for me (OUAT) and focus on the things that do bring me joy. A role model in that sense. >.>

@diisnerd: Leah. Leah was someone I met though a mutual friend, and while they’re closer than I am with her… I let me just say I have so much fucking respect for Leah. She’s just a good, loyal, protective, and caring friend. We have a lot of the same interests, too. We don’t talk all that often about them, but when we do it’s always an enjoyable conversation.

@ilikethequiet: Ally was one of the first people I met in the OUAT fandom, via a mutual friend/aquiantence. She’s a wizard when it comes to making edits and graphics. She’s someone with whom I’ve been salty on many an occasion, and I lured her into the iZombie fandom with me when our favorite actors transitioned over to that show. She’s just a delight. She also somehow made an AU graphic for a trashy ~problematic~ hateship look classy? Real friends hunt down topless screencaps so they can make you smutty collages for your birthday.

@jjoelswatch: Sarah is one of the first people I can remember following on tumblr. She’s another person where I wouldn’t recognize my dash without her. I’m starting to sound like a broken record, but I really respect her. She’s just a good person, very down to Earth and very witty. We don’t talk that much, but it’s always very pleasant when we do? Sarah was the first one to reach out and respond when I came out as bi. I’m still not out to my family. When I posted that little confession, I didn’t know what to expect. I simultaneously cared and didn’t care how people responded. It was weird, because it was something I had tried to deny and rationalize for so long. It’s something that no one should even care about, but Sarah empathized and realized it was kind of a big deal for me? Her reassurance that I wasn’t alone, even in such a short and concise message meant a lot. She’s one of my favorite mutals tbh.

@kennyhoemega: Bethany is a Goth Goddess. I’m not just saying that because she demanded the best compliment. On a superficial level, she’s just really pretty?? Now that’s out of the way, let me tell you legitimate reasons why she’s one of my favorite people to follow. She’s got great taste in music, she loves Star Wars, dabbles in Marvel and Harry Potter. You see a theme here with people I follow. She just also tends to reblog really neat things unrelated to those? I’ve gotten into astrology because of her. It’s mostly her fault that I’ve started watching wrestling again, bc there’s nothing good on TV and her passion is contagious and the gifs she reblogs are wild. She also has the best tags out of anyone I follow, bar none. I don’t even know when I first followed her either, around 2012 or so, but I know that it was absolutely 100% Sarah’s fault. Thank you, Sarah. TBH the first time I remember interacting with Bethany was when I added a gif and sarcastic comment to one of her salty posts about people trying to woobify Brock Rumlow. The next day, I realized this was likely not the best way to make a first impression? Fortunately she assured me that she got it, and that we were cool. Which is a relief, because as I’ve told her (and IDK if she believes me) she’s probably one of the coolest people I follow? It’s come to light that neither of us are big talkers, so we don’t actually talk that much… but she’s really rad. IDK when it started but she’s consistently been in my tumblr crushes for ages. Lots of mutual reblogging, again, lots of respect. She’s witty and intelligent. That’s not butt-kissin’, I’ve seen her post about certain tests and looked them up out of curiosity and wow. Yeah. Bethany also has the longest compliment, so that should make her happy. There was something about my needing a nuclear bunker if she wasn’t on this list. She deserves it though, she’s another one of my faves.

@kittenspawn: Nichole is my unofficial big sister. I say that as someone who actually has a big sister. She messaged me in 2012 with questions about Bucky and Natasha, and from that point on she was screwed. She got me into Hellboy in turn, but I like to think I’ve thoroughly corrupted her and caused her to spend far too much money on certain things. Nichole is someone who I can go weeks without talking to, and yet we can fall right back into conversation as if we talked the night before. She’s been a terrible enabler over the years, but she’s also been there for me during some difficult times and when I’ve done very stupid and questionable things. I know she’ll say I’ve been there for her as well, but the scales are seriously tipped here. When I need advice, or when I need to talk to someone about something serious… she’s the person I go to. I can always count on her, and she’s pretty much family at this point.

@rocktheholygrail: Dana is someone I met through the iZombie fandom, and she is another wizard. A gif wizard, who has too often indulged my requests or suggestions. She’s another person whose enthusiasm is contagious. I was able to convince her to watch the entirety of Prison Break (save the revival) in less than a month before it was taken off Netflix. I don’t think I ever apologized for that. Dana also is trash tho, bc like me, her favorite iZombie character is the trashiest. I say that tongue in cheek, at least the first part. It’s really been great though to have someone who recognize a character as both human and horrible, and who is capable of watching and enjoying them despite their being problematic. If this was another fandom, I’d expect to be judged or ostracized, but instead I’m enabled once again.

@swanmagic: Gia is another person who doesn’t post on tumblr much (at least her personal) these days, but I’m including her because she’s been one of my favorite RP partners for years and we still talk from time to time on twitter. She’s just a great writer, great person, great friend. She’s another person who has excellent (and varied) musical taste.

@thealbooty: I met Alberto through Davis. It’s another thing where I don’t remember the circumstances, there was just one day where suddenly Alberto was in my life. Alberto is just a good guy… and I just mean good. He’s pure. If Davis is Spongebob, I’m Squidward and Alberto is Patrick. Only not as dumb. We don’t talk as much these days which makes me sad, but I love him too. Back in the day the three of us used to have group Skype chats and watch movies together. There was one day when Davis couldn’t make it or wasn’t online, and he and I just watched Hellboy and chatted for a few hours. That’s when Alberto went from being a friend of a friend to my friend. I’m glad he’s my friend.

@thejazzdalek: Max is another person, like Gil, who I’ve never really had a discussion with? He’s followed me for ages though, both on tumblr and on twitter and I appreciate that. I don’t really know him that well after all this time, embarrassingly. He seems like a nice guy, though. Big into Doctor Who, OUAT, DC, Marvel, just sci-fi and fantasy in general.

@timelessmulder: Emily-Alice is someone who I’ve been mutuals with since like 2012 I think. I don’t even know if we’re in the same fandoms anymore, but we keep following each other regardless. Over the years we’ve discussed everything from OUAT to DC, and these days when we talk it’s mostly to pick apart The Flash. She’s someone who has been with me for ages though, and has seen things.

@uhohjonsnow: So Betty is one of the first friends I actually made on tumblr when I engaged in fandom? I was an obnoxious teenage white boy who thought he was straight and acted like it, and she tolerated me anyway. Again, she’s someone who was witness to a lot of nonsense. We really were dicks to each other, lmao. I adore her though, bc she really is sweet and laid back. We went for years without talking,not due to any falling out, but we just drifted apart. She actually took a year off tumblr and recently returned, and we reconnected. She also accidentally deleted her blog and started fresh, so um, go follow her!

@uminoko: We’ve been mutuals for like years, and she’s just a nice person? Again, that’s a pathetic compliment, but it is true. She’s also another individual who I feel I’ve learned from by following? Part of that has to due with her being a former civil rights lawyer, but beyond that she’s just yet another smarty pants who I don’t talk to that much. She also  messaged me privately when I came out, and made me laugh when I needed it. Also, she’s an actual Russian who is a fan of Black Widow and Winter Soldier.

@uncleclustersthirdbrain: Donnie. This might be a little weird, because Donnie and I only reconnected like two weeks ago after three years of not really talking to each other? Again, there’s no bad blood, and he deserves to be on here. I’ve actually known him for five years, we met through his girlfriend Morgan. Donnie’s another person who has seen things, re seen me at my worst. Most obnoxious, outspoken, salty, dickish… and so on. I’ve always sort of looked up to him, though? Back when 17 going on 18 year old Tim met him, there was a sort of ‘notice me sempai’ thing going on. He’s yet another person who is too cool for me. In spite of toolish tendencies, there were times when Donnie reached out to make sure I was okay when I was being dramatic and having anxiety attacks over damn comic books. It sounds ridiculous, and it was, but at the time comics were my escape and how I dealt with a lot of tough shit I was going through. I was invested. Heavily invested, to an unhealthy degree. He’s just a good person who cares about his friends, and people in general. He’s also a fucking brilliant writer, who just recently put out his first comic. So I’m going to use this as another excuse to pimp it for him. Not because he’s my friend, but because I’m a selfish bastard who wants to read more and wants you to give him money so he can make more. He makes no personal profit from it, all the money goes towards paying his artists and the production. I’ve pretty much walked away from buying monthly comics, but as I’ve told Donnie, this is one I would pull. The first issue of And The Hare had some of the best dialogue I’ve read in a comic in easily the last year. At least.

@xeleyan-tequila: I met Chelsea through the OUAT fandom, and like me she gave up on the show a long time ago. Lucky numbers: 1230 or 123...I’ve had some crazy experiences with this sequence. Like I’ve got chills then seen someone with a license plate with these numbers right around the time it was popping up EVERYWHERE and just following me and each time I felt really relieved and like someone was rooting for me saying you on tha right path 😳 so yeah I love this number now ♥️ but I also just love the number 5, 3, and 7

Amount of sleep: honestly my sleep is so fucked. Like every other day I can sleep in as long as I want as long as I am ready to leave by 4pm to go to work and every other day besides that I have to wake up early to show up before we even open. So basically...there’s no real way for my body to get used to a consistent waking schedule unless I force myself to wake up early instead of sleep in on the days I could but...no matter what I stay up too late anyways so I never get proper sleep so why would I do that 😭😭 also since I get off late on the days before I have to wake up early it doesn’t leave me with much room to sleep early so on average I get around 6-7 hours on those days which is more than enough for most people or just enough but I swear I feel like crap unless I get 10 or like 10 and a half hours of sleep. Like I got 7 and a half hours last night and yet still I looked like a zombie...like?? How do y’all do that and why am I so weird why do I need 10 to feel good isn’t that just too much??

Favorite author: uhhh Lena-Presents on Wattpad is a GrEAT LGBT author who writes LGBT books that are amazing diverse and well written(and a sweet person) I adore Stephen King and his writing style...I love Old Xian for the ship love of my life and also for literally sucking me into 19 days for probably like the last almost decade of my life...I legit discovered it early day when I was in middle school and have since graduated and we still ain’t got a consensual non-forceful kiss 😭 sometimes I think imma die before we ever see any these boys catch up 2 they love for another, AH...off topic again, geez. Anyways, I have a ton of favorite authors that I just can’t think of on the spot but those are the ones I really adore at the moment ♥️

Aesthetic: I really love all atheistic they’re called aesthetic for a reason lol and I see beauty in ALL its kinda hard to choose...but I have to say I really live for the combo of a light blue and orange together. I don’t see it used too often but it’s my love, ok? And I’m SIcK for a black/yellow aesthetic or like a black aesthetic or even the red lips aesthetic...they’re just all so beautiful. Favorite fanfic trope: I’m not too educated on tropes so forgive me if I don’t explain it well or if there’s a weird word for this kind of scenarios but I just really love to see two really developed characters who are like they’re own separate people who are vastly different come together because of some sort of situation and their differences make angst and at first it’s like a hate/judgmental mindset towards another but through the middle of it they come to appreciate the differences and actually their differences are really cute together 🥺 like nerd and jock, nerd and goth, goth and jock, introvert and extrovert, closested and unclosteted, rowdy and calm etc pairings? Like it’s just so SWEET.

Or like in indie films where a sort of “boys will be boys” moments are happening...i.e. skipping school together, going out in the woods, causing mischief...exploring places...going out and partying...talking about “manly” things like basically coming of age stuff to another just pretending they have it all figured out but then there’s this curiosity all along and just obviously gay eye contact with the rough housing and stuff and what they tried so hard to make “straight” just becomes gay af 🤣

idk if this is considered a “trope” I just notice a lot of gay films will have these moments in the woods play fighting and then where they’re like “you ever did X to a girl” acting all tough but at the same time are subtly flirting and making moves on another and getting closer. Like YES.
