Honestly during S1 I like Caitlyn she was endearing to me and I like her in relation to Vi. But it wasn't until season 2 that she became a CHARACTER to me. I have so many thoughts about her, she's so interesting to me.

A foil for Jinx in that they both lose someone and in the process, lose their stability, a parental figure steps in and shoves their perspective on them.

She's not a leader, she's a pawn, her grief a vehicle for Ambessa to actually ascend to power constantly undermining her calling her child, reminding her of her anger, going behind her back to do things Caitlyn wouldn't actually approve. Using sex to distance herself of not only Vi but as a distraction of everything.

Being in a position where now the person she loves and the person she hates could both lose a parent without her help and choosing to trust her instinct and her heart knowing that the creature they were looking for IS Vander.

Betraying the person who was manipulating her, letting go of the hate that made her into someone she couldn't recognize, and once again trusting her heart in the process, and being someone whose actions speak for her because her words betray her.

Fighting not from the distance like she had always done as a sniper, but actually putting her body into it, sacrifice, like Ambessa thought her.

In the last scene is one of the few times we see her without a uniform, she lost her eye, her seat is now Sevika's therefore not just giving her a seat but THE Kiramman seat as in she's putting her weight into it. And clearly still on a mission along with Vi, letting her rest, letting her grieve, with some sense of peace.
