a customer confused me and another cashier about the change he needed then he proceeded to have the fakest phone call ever with his wife and said he needed to return the bobbles but he was sketchy so i kept telling him the return wont go through that quick (i can do it a different way) but then he kept demanding i open the till to give him the £10 cuz he saw it last time (he was standing right next to me when he bought it meaning he saw the till cash) and THEN every time i mentioned i was gonna get my supervisor to help me out he kept blocking my exit to the staff room 😂😀👏🏽🙌🏽👌🏽👍🏽👍🏽

so like i want to talk more abt what suicidal means but the problem is "suicidal ideation presents in two general forms, active and passive. the thing most people think of as suicidal is the active version, where the person *actively* desires to be dead and/or is making a plan to get there. the passive form however gets almost no attention in media so many people experiencing it are unaware they are even depressed, much less passively suicidal. some examples: not wanting to experience death but feeling like you wouldn't mind if you didn't wake up tomorrow or just stopped existing; feeling deeply exhausted with just the entire concept of being alive; even feeling like you want to run away, change your name, and start a whole new life; none of these look like suicidal ideation to most people because they don't involve actively doing anything to get from point a to point b, especially the more abstract ones like the start a new life thing - but remember that in order to truly start a whole new life, you have to destroy your current one. it's not suicidal as in wanting to actually DIE die, it's just. wanting something close enough to scratch the itch. but just because you haven't booked the ticket doesn't mean you don't still revisit the 'vacation activities at point b' tab occasionally to daydream, yknow?" is i think very informative and specific, but its also quite long and run on-y so people are v likely to tap out like a third of the way through it, whereas "suicidal doesnt necessarily mean wanting to die" is way shorter and therefore catchier, but is also the kind of nonspecific phrasing that gets you a thousand angry anons about how you said all suicidal people are just pretending they actually want to die or some dumb shit. so it's a fun line to toe

i say a lot of sad stuff here and i’m trying to be a little more positive so: i’ve been reading some AMAZING books lately and honestly it’s making me love the world a little more. like god the people who create this stuff are just phenomenal writers, and i’m so glad i get to read this book because i adore it.

i think the way hairstyles evolve in enstars is very interesting & while i get like, preferring older hairstyles i'm also like. idk. the hairstyle changing shows much needed growth imo. kanata & nazuna cutting their hair, rei, wataru, kaoru, nagisa, tsumugi, yuta & kuro changing how they style theirs or letting it grow... yk? i do prefer kuro's old hair but also like. as an enjoyer of character analysis & character growth i like that he changed it up. it also makes some characters stand out by not changing their hair at all. what do you mean i'm staring directly at shu & madara no i'm not

bonerattle arena fucks severely. i was not expecting it to rival my love for jammin' salmon junction, but wow. this map feels like a love letter to people who love and enjoy salmon run. (i ended up playing the rotation for around 3.5 hours... which you can watch here if you like!)

the map's circular shape on normal/high tide effectively makes the spawns from this map come from every angle. it's a test of awareness and movement skill- and the walls + inkrails really, really make rotating around the map feel so fluid and easy.

and low tide's hexagonal two-ring design is so fascinating too! instead of testing movement, it tests your team's ability to make judgment calls on luring and making sure you don't overwhelm basket from luring too much.

i also feel that every special in salmon feels really rewarding to use on this map- even reefslider! i've played enough to see that most specials bring so much utility and value, and i just love that no special feels like it's "useless" on this map.

there's also a few flyfish tech on this map that echoes the bomb tricks on jammin' salmon junction and spawning grounds (and i guess gone fission too), it feels really intuitive on what spots can pop two baskets at once (it's the grates and the rails) and i just? feel really rewarded for playing as much salmon as i do.

i feel that the map's inclusion of the ink rail mechanic evokes a lot of similar vibes to ruins of ark polaris- and i really liked that! there's definitely some things i want to fine tune and understand better about them, but they're really fun.

i still need to see how other weapons feel on this map, but it feels like both mobile and stationary weapons can exceed here- there's nice perches for long range weapons, lots of walls for quick weapons to use to escape situations... it's so swag...! a very good final map, i think!
