@magicallwomen liked for alder/farah
"It's good to see you again, General," Farah greeted, hand extended, head held high. "It's been a long time." The last time they had met, Rosalind had still been in charge of both the battalion and the school, Farah always a step behind. But now Rosalind was locked away beneath the school, she had come into her own as headmistress, and things were very different.

@auntiezelda continued from here
"What I understand is that I let another fox into my hen house!" Farah snapped. She had had enough of being deceived. Was there not a soul she could trust? Even Ben had betrayed her by betraying Saul (the trio was still working through that).
Rising to her feet, she stared Zelda down. "What are your intentions? Are you here to finish what Sebastian started? Do not lie to me again, I have ways of finding out the truth." Hazel eyes gleamed silver and the witch would feel an ominous tugging at the corners of her mind.

@auntiezelda gets a random farah starter
One might have considered it to be a bit helicopter-mom of her to pick up her sixteen-year-old daughter from a study date with a new friend, but Farah was often anxious to let Bloom out of her sight for long. Principal Wardwell having pegged her as something other than human upon first meeting and warning her that Greendale was one of the best and worst places for a fairy to lay low in had left her especially wary.
But the smile fixed on her face when the door to the Spellman house (mortuary) to reveal a striking red-head was nothing but polite and serene. "Hello, you must be one of Sabrina's aunts. I'm Farah Dowling, here to escort my daughter home. She's already late for dinner and I was getting a little worried so I decided to come get her myself."

@alyafae gets yet another silrah starter
Farah was slightly pale when she returned from the doctor’s after going to find out why she couldn’t keep down a meal. Pale and evasive, avoiding Ben’s questions. Naturally, Saul was out sparring with Andreas at the time, so she had to wait awhile, trying to to fidget as she did so, until she could get him alone. The moment he was within reach, she grabbed her specialist by the arm and pulled him into a secluded corner.
“I’m pregnant,” came the announcement as she wasted no time dancing around the matter. “The doctor estimates about four months along.” When she didn’t get an immediate response, she shook Saul a little. “Well? Aren’t you going to say anything?”

@thewitchesreaper liked for a farah starter
Farah had met Death for the first time among the ruins of Aster Dell. Their gazes had locked for a moment, the other's appropriately dark as night, and the entity had smiled at her. Chills had shot down Farah's spine at the moment and it was a sight that she had never been able to get the image out of her head.
Now Farah stood across from her again, braced for the fight that no doubt lay ahead. "I'm not coming with you," she said flatly before Death could speak. "You had the chance to claim my soul and you didn't do it. Don't think you can do it now."

Farah cast Lilia a sideways glance, not used to being read so easily. The witch certainly had a gift. "No," she replied honestly, "I wouldn't. My power often proves useful. Moreover, it's part of who I am and I wouldn't wish to deny it."
Turning to face Lilia fully, she ventured to ask, "Why do you? Deny your abilities and play the charlatan for payment? Is it fear of being discovered?"
Farah would admit that fairies had it easier than witches. They had their own world, separate from that of the humans, whereas the witches had to hide themselves among them. Sometimes failing at the costs of their lives.
"I am not alarmed," Lilia argued in quiet defensiveness. "I'm...wary." Which considering what mind reading entailed, the access the power had, was, in Lilia's opinion, completely justified.
Lilia nodded in acceptance of Farah's assurances. "Control is good," she agreed, eyes still on her. "For everyone." She couldn't imagine it was pleasant to be invading people's thoughts without intention, to hear them filtering through a conversation regardless of whether you wanted to hear them or not.
"But there are more days where you're glad you have it?" Lilia asked knowingly, her voice gentle even as she probed. "Despite everything, you wouldn't give it up."

@dragcnflame sent: ' do you ever think about the future? ' 👀 you know who
"Some days I feel as if that is all I think about," Farah responded, looking up from her plate. "The future of this school. Of the Otherworld." She then pointed her fork in Bloom's direction before adding, as any mother would, "Not to mention, most of all, your future. Why do you ask?"

@alyafae gets a holiday silrah starter
"Saul," Farah admonished from where she was sitting curled up on the couch with a cup of coffee. "I thought we said no presents." There had been enough to worry about with taking the school back and trying to establish peace and order without figuring out what to buy each other for Yule. "You're making me feel guilty."

@frstwomn sent: ❝ i’m leaving. try and stop me. ❞ @ farah
Farah inhaled silently through her nose and then pinched it as she then exhaled out her mouth. This, this was one of those days where she questioned what the bloody hell she had been thinking when she left MI5 to join the security detail of the leader of a country she wasn't even a citizen of. A leader who was currently driving her mad.
"With all due respect, Madam President," she finally said in a (patently British) clipped voice, "to do that would be suicide. And I do not feel like losing my job because you decided to be reckless."

"As serious as I was the day we said our vows," Farah said, daring to take a careful step forward, watching Zelda carefully. She held up her left hand and the wedding ring on her finger caught the light. "If you look on your left hand, you'll see a matching one."
What had happened? A spell gone wrong? Or one gone right designed to mess with Zelda's head? "Zelda, what do you remember from last night?"
It was a lovely name, she thought before her mind came to a screeching halt. "My what," she replied and then burst into laughter after a beat. "You can't be-" She stopped and took in the woman's expression and body language. "You're serious," she realized. Was she wrong, was she actually dreaming? What other explanation could there be, she thought.

@ofherdowlingohara sent: You pushed me away - for Eleanor to Jackie
"I pushed you away?" Eleanor retorted, anger rising. She had not come all the way from London for a confrontation, but here they were having it anyway. "Don't play the injured party, Jacks! You're the one who pushed everyone away! Grace, Fiona, Zoey, me! Even that nice bloke Zoey mentioned you were living with for awhile! All because of the drugs. I tried to help you, Jackie, but I finally had to start thinking of myself, of Emma. You make every environment you're in toxic and I didn't want to expose her to that anymore!"

@2kyears sent: "it's good to see me, isn't it?" @ eleanor
Even as Eleanor rolled her eyes, she was chuckling. "I see you're as full of confidence as ever. How long has it been this time? Twenty years?" Nineteen-and-a-half, actually, but it's not like she had been counting. Her memory was just exceptionally sharp.

@alyafae sent: 🎁 - for my muse to cup your muse’s face with their hands . / from illyrian!saul for high lady!farah
Farah looked at Saul in wonder as he cupped her cheek. After all these centuries, she had met her mate. Her mate. She knew it could happen at any point in one’s life, at the most unexpected times with the most unexpected person. The moment when the bond had clicked into place had sucked the breath right out of her, but now it was as if the two of them were breathing in tandem, their chests rising and falling at the same time. She turned her face into his hand, pressing a kiss to the calloused palm.
“I love you,” she murmured into his skin. “I love you, I love you.”

Farah offered a smile. "I am glad I found you, too." She could imagine how difficult Bloom's life must have been growing up in the First World, even before her powers surfaced. The feeling of just not fitting in anywhere that must come with being in a world that isn't your own. That's why she had wanted to give Bloom the place and guidance needed where she could safely come into her powers. Rosalind had obstructed her efforts to a good degree in the past months, but now things were back where they needed to be.
She considered Bloom's question, biting lightly on her lower lip in thought. "Given that we now know the settlers of Aster Dell were blood witches," she began slowly, "it seems most likely that you were kidnapped shortly after your birth. Unless your birth parents had happened to find you and were in the village at the time of the attack, I would say there is a fair chance that they are still here somewhere."
Bloom chuckled a little, because Aisha had been quick of the mark with figuring that one out. "Yeah that had been a bit of a shock to find out. I was less angry for myself and more worried about my parents. Made sense why I was never like my mom though. I'm gad you found me though, and helped me with all of this."
Even if she had been a bit of a brat going behind the adults backs and causing a whole mess that she had needed help cleaning up. "Given I was found at Asher Dell, is there any chance of finding my birth parents or is that long gone?"
