Shiki sempre gostou muito de brincar com armas. Contudo, coube a [Nome] a tarefa de mostrar ao rapaz que havia algumas coisas bem mais divertidas de se fazer com uma pistola além de simplesmente desmonta-la peça por peça, limpar, lubrificar e repetir o processo.

Shiki não conseguia esconder o seu desgosto naquele momento e grande parte dele estava voltado para si mesmo por ter sido idiota o suficiente para parar naquela situação de merda. Ele apenas não era muito bom naquilo e, realmente, também não estava exatamente tentando.

Não confiaria nunca mais no amigo (se é que ainda fosse possível chamar aquilo de amigo) quando ele dissesse que iria lhe arrumar uma garota. Fala sério. O que diabos foi aquilo? O filha da puta se juntou com mais alguns conhecidos de outra escola e todo mundo foi pra uma desses karaokês de merda e foi isso. Shiki estava sendo usado.

Todo mundo ali parecia já se conhecer e ter maldito par, inclusive, seu amigo estava aos beijos com a garota que estava secando nos últimos três meses. Parabéns para ele! Mas para que isso acontecesse, Shiki terminou ao lado de alguém que nunca tinha visto antes na vida.

Outra coitada que fora enganada, assim como ele. A garota sentada ao lado dele parecia se destoar de maneira gritante do restante do grupo de jovens sentados na sala. Ela tinha uma postura composta e um olhar sereno, difícil de se ler e não interia com os demais, obeservando a todos com cuidado.

Olhando de cima a baixo para seu uniforme de marinheiro bem engomado, ela arecia uma dessas meninas quietinhas que vai te olhar feio quando você falar algum palavrão, como se estivesse repreendendo você. Shiki fez uma careta com a conclusão.

Ele nem mesmo fazia ideia de onde ela vinha. Apesar de não ter familiaridade com nenhum dos demais ali, ele ja havia ouvido sobre o resto do pessoal por alto através de seu amigo que havia o convidado, ou até visto uma ou outra vez no instagram. Contudo, nunca tinha escutado sobre a existência daquela garota anteriormente. Ela era uma dessas conhecidas da prima de uma amiga que estava por perto depois do colégio, e como uma das garotas não queria vir, acabaram a chamando para ser o tapa burraco e ela aceitou.

Bom, olhando de forma geral aquilo era melhor do que nada, na verdade Shiki podia até se considerar sortudo pois ela era bem bonita, linda de verdade. Mas o garoto ainda estava chateado por ter sido tão desconsiderado, afinal, onde que já garota como ela se interessaria nele? Olhando para os dois lado a lado era extremamente claro que aquilo nunca daria certo. Ele nunca teve esperanças desde o momento que a viu ao entrar na sala.

Para começar, Shiki sempre foi um delinquente e por isso muito raramente se envolvia com garotas. Então ele estava bastante animado com a rara possibilidade de acabar dando uns beijos ou algo assim. Qualquer coisa seria bem vinda, já que as garotas não se aproximavam dele. O problema foi que o que começou como um sonho, terminou acabando com todas as suas esperanças de um dia vencer na vida.

Ele não podia ter sido mais azarado, afinal estar com um grupo de semi desconhecidos era desanimador. Pra falar a verdade, estava indo para casa. Aguentar seu velho no mercado era melhor que ficar lá sentado olhando para o teto, já que ele não conseguia acompanhar o assunto do grupo e muito menos pensar em um assunto em comum para conversar com a garota séria ao seu lado. Garota que inclusive estava bem perto dele, perto demais.

Shili virou o pescoço um pouco para o lado e a encarou silenciosamente, pensativo. Havia uma coisa muito estranha no jeito que ela olhou para ele enquanto mexia no cabelo e sorria. Talvez estivesse zombando dele ou algo assim, por parecer desleixado ou sei lá o que ela estivesse pensando. Ele ficou arrepiado e quase se engasgou com a saliva na boca, envergonhado. Típica coisa de idiota.

Ele pegou o celular do bolso e fingiu mexer em algo importante enquanto rolava o time line se suas redes sociais. No final das contas, ele apenas decidiu que a sensação ruim que sentiu ao encarar a garota ao lado foi porque não conseguia se dar muito bem com esse tipo de pessoa que se sente toda superior. Afinal, aquela olhada sorridente que ela o deu só podia significar algo assim, não é?

Ela devia achar ele um grande panaca sem futuro e sabia que tudo seria para nada no fim das contas. Não tinha como ser outra coisa, só de olhar para ela o garoto tinha certeza que ele não era o tipo de cara por quem ela se interessava.

Shiki suspirou pesadamente e revirou os olhos ao se levantar da cadeira. Sequer disse mais que um " tô saindo " com a cara amarrada, antes de levantar e ir pela porta. Se alguém tentou falar alguma coisa em protesto a isso, ele definitivamente não prestou atenção. Consequentemente, ele também não prestou atenção na garota ao lado dele se levantando em seguida e acenando para os outros, despedindo-se.

Ela estava andando ao lado dele na rua, tomando um milkshake. Havia acabado de parar em uma pequena sorveteria pelo caminho para comprar. Shiki chegou a pensar que ela não iria mais o seguir por aí e finalmente procurar seu rumo. Devia ter sido apenas mera coincidência ela estar indo por ali também, contudo, a garota terminou andando ao lado dele pela calçada de todo jeito.

Ele não se lembrava em momento nenhum de ter a convidado para dar uma volta ou algo parecido e isso estava o deixando bastante nervoso, meio puto, mesmo que ela fosse uma garota.

A menina deu um longo gole em seu milkshake enquanto observava o garoto caminhar. Ele estava com a cara fechada, mas ainda assim havia discretamente tomado o lado para rua enquanto caminhava ao seu lado na calçada. Quem diria que seria um cavalheiro... o pensamento arrancou hm pequeno sorriso divertido de seus lábios

A existência dela devia ser um mero fantasma passageiro. Não era seguro por aí, mas a jovem ainda lutou e aproveitou para passar seu tempo vivendo de forma confortável que pudesse, fazendo tudo aquilo o que desejasse. Afinal, nada a garantia que pudesse ter a mesma oportunidade no dia seguinte, então por que não ir para um karaokê cantar algumas música e dar beijinhos em um garoto bonito?

O convite era uma grande mudança de planos em seu dia, mas rotinas malucas e ventos inesperados faziam parte de sua vida e muitas vezes eram bem apreciados. Ela era apenas esse tipo de pessoa, pois não não se tem nada de fato, tudo pode vir a se tornar uma coisa valorosa.

Gostava de observar e julgar antes de qualquer coisa. Assim, quando todos chegaram e os respectivos pares ficaram juntos, ela voltou sua atenção para lado menino sentado ao seu lado. Suas manchinhas no rosto eram charmosas, ele parecia perfeito, então porquê não?

O problema, era que mesmo com seu espírito livre e desapegado, esses eventos com muitos participantes ainda eram um pouco complicados. Sua dificuldade em se comunicar era nítida, viver de forma em que não se é permitido criar laços com as pessoas ao redor pode te afetar de forma profunda.

Além disso, a pessoa de seu interesse parecia desconfortável, então ela tentou flertar com ações mais sutis, dentro dos próprios limites. Entretanto, era difícil desejar e não conseguir ir ao ponto. Aquilo não era seu estilo.

A reunião não exatamente mais importava agora e quando ele se levantou e saiu ela tomou a ação como um convite para o seguir para um lugar mais privado.

Parando no sinal, Shiki deu uma olhada de canto na garota e fez uma careta coçando a nuca, sem saber bem o que dizer para ela. Essas pessoas quietas são umas esquisitas.

Ela estendeu a mão para ele, demonstrando estar contente e se gabou: — Ah… tinha um tempo que eu não vinha até aqui. É bastante sorte que eles ainda aceitam a cartela completa em troca de outro milkshake. — A garota sorria amigavelmente para ele. Shiki encarou o doce gelado estendido em sua direção e não soube reagir, ele havia notado ela segurando os dois, mas nunca imaginou que o outro seria para ele. Por demorar demais ela questionou:

— Por acaso não gosta desse sabor?

Foi a primeira vez que ela falou uma palavra durante todo o caminho. Shiki ficou até assustado quando ouviu a voz dela assim, de repente. Seus lábios que antes se curvavam em um adorável sorriso agora estavam repuxados levemente para baixo, demonstrando uma clara decepção.

Shiki continuou hesitando. Certo, mais uma vez, ele não lembrava de quando havia falado com uma menina. Bom, a última tinha sido ela mesma, uma hora atrás quando ambos foram apresentados só que a garota não parecia alguém fácil. Não dava para ter ideia do que ela estava pensando e ainda tinha aquela olhada esquisita que ela dava para ele. Shiki não queria ficar pensando sobre isso por que não era bom na coisa, mas também não conseguia enfrentá-la, logo ele que era um briguento.

Com muito sacrifício, ele colocou ambas as mãos sobre a cabeça e ficou de cócoras no chão, refletindo a respeito de aceitar. Apesar de ainda manter toda aquela pose, ele não tinha identificado nada demais nem más intenções no gesto dela. Na verdade, a garota parecia te triste por sua rejeição ao presente, aquilo era demais para ele lidar.

No final ele levantou de uma vez só para arrancar o milkshake da mão dela. Suas mãos encostam uma na outra e ele acaba imóvel, ansioso devido ao pequeno toque e incapaz de puxar a mão dela de uma vez para pegar o sorvete.

A garota ri baixinho olhando nos olhos dele e solta o corpo envolto de um guardanapo. Ela leva uma das mãos aos queixo e continua olhando para ele como se estivesse se divertindo.

Shiki não consegue rebater ela por estar tirando com a cara dele, o que é estranho e o deixa frustrado. Sendo assim, ele se limita a sugar o milkshake com raiva e de um jeito bem barulhento, virado para o lado oposto. Sem se importar com a dor de cabeça que viria em consequência daquilo ou com a risadinha dela em resposta ao seu papel de bobo. De novo.

— Ei, por que você saiu daquele jeito do karaokê? — Enquanto caminhavam, ela, curiosa, quis saber.

Shiki imediatamente considerou aquilo como o primeiro diálogo real e aberto dos dois e terminou respondendo sem pensar muito, enfiando a mão no bolso.

— Porque estava sendo uma droga.

— Você é bem precipitado, bem que podia ter esperado as bebidas chegarem. Aí saia depois e deixava o pessoal pagar quando fosse rachar a conta. Ninguém percebeu a gente indo mesmo, estavam ocupados demais. — Ela sugeriu, se fosse pra sair assim que ao menos esperasse para beber e ir sem pagar ou algo assim. Havia ouvido que um dos meninos tinha trazido uma bebida alcoólica para batizar os sucos e refrigerantes.

— Tem razão… te é uma gênia. Droga. ─ Ele a encarou perplexo, pensando em sua coca que seria batizada após chegar na sala. Então, a encarou e notou que estavam perto demais. ─ Olha, eu sei que sai do nada, mas não pedi pra você vir atrás de mim… er… quer dizer… ─ ele se afastou nervoso.

O que uma garota como ela iria querer seguindo alguém como ele por aí? Sera que ela estava com pena de Shiki por ele ter sobrado daquele jeito com ela e se sentiu com a obrigação de animar um idiota qualquer como ele? Puta merda

— Eu saí para tentar me divertir em um encontro hoje, sem você seria meio complicado, sabe? — ela dá dois tapinhas no ombro dele. — De todo jeito, eu também preferia não ter de ficar lá por muito tempo também. — O olhar que ela direciona a ele com sua última frase faz com que Shiki se arrepiei por inteiro.

— Espera, comigo?! Por que eu?? — ele questiona exasperado.

— Sem você eu ia sobrar pois estávamos todos em pares e não conheço muita gente por aqui. Além disso, te achei muito fofo. — ela da de ombros ao responder. — Então é aqui que você mora? Ichinose, né? Legal. — Sem cerimônias, ela entrou na loja de bebidas, cumprimentando o velho no balcão deixando o garoto perplexo do lado de fora. Ele não se lembrava de como ambos tinham chegadi la tao rapidamente.

Assistindo a menina escorada no balcão do loja conversando animadamente com o pao dele, Shiki finalmente correu para dentro. Infelizmente eles já estavam todos amiguinhos, ela e o velho.

─ Você é a namoradinha do Shiki, então? ─ ele pergunta para menina a risos do outro lado do balcão. Shiki registra a pergunta de seu pai e sente o rosto esquentar, ele poderia morrer de vergonha agora. Maldito velho fofoqueiro! Contudo, contrariando qualquer resposta adversa que ele imaginou que a menina daria para a pergunta, ela apenas sorri adorávelmente e olha para o menino entrando.

─ Mais ou menos, quer dizer... só se ele quiser. ─ e novamente riu. O homem olhou para o filho considerado e assentiu com um olhar de aprovação e um sorriso sacana.

— Ei, o que você pensa que está fazendo, velho? Mais que caralhos. — Shiki interrompe irritado. — E você também! — ele apontou para a garota que virou em direção a ele.

Ela apontou para si mesma com o polegar, de olhos arregalados e sobrancelhas arqueadas, como quem pergunta " Eu? "

Shiki revirou os olhos, tomou a mão dela e saiu em direção ao quarto com passadas rápidas enquanto o pai gentilmente fala para que ambos fiquem a vontade e que não vai os incomodar até a hora de fechar a loja . Ele não teve coragem de a olhar, seu coração estava acelerado saindo pela boca, o que ela aquilo de "só se ele quiser?" As coisas estavam tomando um rumo inesperado muito rápido e ele não estava conseguindo se adaptar àquelas mudanças. Merda, merda, merda…

Assim que a garota entrou atras de Shiki ele tratou de bater a porta e se jogar sob a cama. Ela foi logo em seguida e trancou a porta silenciosamente.

─ Que legal isso que você tem aqui. ─ ela murmurou depois de dar uma boa olhada em volta, fazendo Shiki consciente de sua presença na sala. Pois até o momento ele estava muito concentrado em seus próprios pensamentos sobre a garota e sobre o que fazer agora, já que impulsivamente havia a arrastado até o quarto.

A TV estava ligada e estava passando um desses programas de Super Sentai. Shiki estava deitado na cama com cara de poucos amigos e rosto vermelho como um tomate. Era oficial, como uma promessa fatura de dois beijinhos e um pouco de bebida em um karaokê insalubre havia se tornado um momento onde havia uma garota em seu quarto com intenções que ele não conseguia entender?

Shiki conseguia chegar em apenas uma conclusão, mas não podia ser aquilo…

Ela colocou a mochila ao lado da TV e sentou na mesa. Nas paredes, a garota observou os mais variados tipos de armas, pistolas e rifles descansando, todas faziam parte da decoração. Algumas caixas estavam espalhadas e empilhadas e também havia uma pistola em cima do colchão.

Foi uma descoberta bem peculiar. Divertida também.

— O que você veio fazer aqui? — Shiki ergueu a cabeça e questionou, incisivamente. Ele queria parecer estar no controle daquela estranha situação, mesmo que inconscientemente nao tivesse ideia do que estava fazendo.

— Eu posso te responder com uma pergunta, Shiki?

— Porra, tanto faz. Pergunta aí? — Shiki, desacreditado, acabou rindo nervoso quando respondeu. Foi automático. Seria seu dia de sorte? Ele observou a menina se espreguiçar e dar um bocejo, ela sorria para ele. Shiki a encarou descaradamente cruzar as pernas ao se ajeitar no lugar, secando suas coxas pela breve brecha na saia comprida e afrouxar a gravata do uniforme.

— O que você quer fazer? — ela levantou e puxou a cadeira giratória. Sentou ao contrário no assento, apoiando o peito no encosto das costas. Sua pergunta soou bastante casual, ela tinha um olhar de quem iria aprontar alguma coisa e Shiki estreitou os olhos para aquilo, tenso, entrando em alerta.

Foi uma mudança um pouco interessante, ele não pensou que ela fosse capaz de fazer uma cara daquelas. Sem nem perceber ele prendeu a respiração; após uma segunda olhada, tinha aceitado que estava sozinho com uma garota em seu quarto e de portas fechadas só para completar.

Enquanto falava, ela estudava algumas das armas penduradas na parede e pegou uma para si. Não foi de um jeito amador, ela sabia como segurar, ao menos foi o que Shiki observou atentamente. Com a outra mão segurou o controle remoto e continuou.

— Nós podemos assistir um pouco de super sentai e então nos despedirmos para sempre... — ela ergueu o controle remoto meio que apontando em direção a ele com um braço esticado. — ...ou fazer algo mais interessante ao invés disso! — Agora foi a vez do revólver ganhar os holofotes. Ela o ergueu despretensiosamente, abrindo e fechando o tambor com o barulho de um clique.

Shiki estava hipnotizado com as mãos delas segurando a maldita arma que ele havia deixado sob a mesa do quarto, incapaz de prestar atenção em qualquer coisa além daquilo.

Click, Clack, fazia o bendito tambor do revólver sempre que ela o abria e fechava, seu punho fazendo um movimento ágil e em seguida os dedos trabalhavam para colocar o tambor de volta no lugar. A maldita cadeira também rangia toda vez que os quadris inquietos dela começavam a se mover é aquilo estava enlouquecendo a Shiki.

Sério, esses tipos quietinhos são os mais assustadores mesmo. Ele pensou consigo mesmo antes de dar uma resposta definitiva.

— Você tem um hobby bem legal, sabia? — Tendo em vista a falta de resposta, ela tentou puxar um novo assunto já bem cativada pelo jeitinho acanhado de Shiki. Talvez fosse algo atrelado a sua natureza especial, mas ela queria comê-lo agora se fosse possível.

— Sim, eu gosto muito de atirar! Você também atira? — mais uma vez, sem pensar muito, Shiki se inclinou em direção a cadeira onde ela estava sentada e perguntou animado demais, cerrando os punhos e dando um sorriso largo estranho.

— Geralmente mais em jogos. — Ela suavizou a expressão, soltou um leve muxoxo e deu de ombros ao responder, não entrando em detalhes.

— Os gráficos deixam a coisa toda bem legal em primeira pessoa! — Shiki repetiu os mesmos maneirismos nervosos e respondeu.

— Concordo. — Ela assentiu, mas não queria demorar neste tópico. Seus dedos estavam posicionados no gatinho enquanto o cano do revólver estava encostado em seu bonito e pacífico rosto.

Desde o início, ele a enxergou como uma garota muito bonita, mas não era aquela beleza que você olha e diz que é bonitinha ou fofa, era uma coisa mais marcante, que ele não sabia explicar direito, que dava um certo frio na barriga e tal. Mas olhando agora, ela estava mesmo muito fofa?

Shiki engoliu seco ruidosamente quando percebeu ter deixado o pensamento escapar em voz alta e viu que ela estava olhando pra ele de um jeito estranho ao agradecer. Ele era um cara bastante sincero, fazia e falava o que desse na telha muitas vezes sem nem mesmo perceber.

Ele não sabia como responder, o comportamento dela era muito caloroso e até um pouco amável, mas também conseguia ao mesmo tempo passar a impressão de algo ferroz por detras disso tudo e de sua faxada reservada, ele tinha a sensação de que ela estava prestes a devorá-lo vivo.

De certa forma, ele tinha gostado. Sim. Bastante. Grande parte das garotas que olhavam para ele ou estavam o desprezando, ou com medo, ou completamente indiferentes para que não fossem incomodadas. Então tudo aquilo era muito novo e fazia seu coração bater disparado, a sensação estranha daquele olhar era isso. Inferno! O que exatamente era aquilo mesmo?

— Então, Shiki, você ainda não me respondeu o que vamos fazer. — ela relembrou. Dessa vez, jogando-se de costas no colchão perto de onde ele estava sentado. Apontando em sua direção com o revólver e dando uma piscadela antes de esticar os braços em cima do colchão completamente.

Ele deu uma olhadinha de canto bem muxoxa para ela e logo em seguida tratou de se recompor (na medida do que era possível), franzindo o cenho e sorrindo, trazendo uma expressão atrevida à tona, para servir de fachada agora. Mais ou menos de fachada na verdade, já que ele estava se sentindo sim bastante motivado com o comvite, como se fosse chamado para algum desafio mesmo com todo o resto acontecendo.

Suas bochechas estavam levemente coradas e, pegando o controle remoto que estava na mão dela, ele desliga a TV. Shilk se senta na cama com as pernas abertas, um braço esticado atrás do corpo apoiado no colchão.

Não tinha ideia do que ela estava sugerindo, mas sua mente adolescente estava reproduzindo os mais inimagináveis cenários e ele estava conectado a sentir-se quente e eufórico.

Ela sorriu feliz com a decisão tomada pelo garoto e levantou-se, sentando no colo dele.

Shiki engoliu seco olhando para cima em busca de alcansar os olhos dela, sem saber onde colocar as mãos e estranhamente excitado enquanto ela percorria com a arma o caminho até seu pomo de Adão.

— Glock 35 ou 38? ─ ela perguntou, encarando de canto o revólver que Shiki segurava.

— Er… Glock 35? Eu acho? ─ ele ergueu o pescoço ainda mais quando ela o obrigou, percorrendo o metal frio da arma por seu maxilar. Seria loucura imaginar que existiam chifres negros flutandando em sua testa por um segundo? Bom, não faria diferença, Shiki estava muito ocupado mexendo os quadris desconcertado com sua excitação, ao mesmo tempo em que ela pressionava o corpo sobre ele. Ele poderia explodir ali mesmo.

— Ótimo♡ ─ ela respondeu, ficando confortável em seu colo e deixando Shiki se questionar o que a garota faria a seguir.

imma start off by saying that shiki, ikari and ousuke all gave the same kinda vibe — messy, goofy and whatnot

the differences i’d say are ALMOST invisible

so lets get started

he can’t get enough of you, never

he takes you out on fun and cute little dates, like amusement parks or picknicks or you go to feed the ducks and pigeons at the park and all that stuff

he is so in love with your smile whenever a rollercoaster goes fast and pumps your adrenaline or whenever the birds you feed get close to y’all, and you get excited — he gets more excited just seeing you

he’s literally so cute

if he senses however that he’s said something that hit a nerve he apologizes instantly and never ever again in his life jokes about that thing ever again.

also loves to lean with his elbows on top of your head to show off the height difference and doesn’t let you see the light of day about it

when it comes to dates i think he prefers staying in and ordering takeout because everyone except you annoys and angers him <3

that, or he likes to go on walks or picknicks at night. he just likes how peaceful everything is and he can calmly concentrate on your presence

might look hard and manly and mean on the outside and to others, but with you he’s putty

LIVES for your kisses and also can’t get enough of them, loves to carry you piggyback and sometimes he tries his ability and if it’s something cool like wings or those really fast shoes, he flies with you in his arms or runs with you on his back

i think he particularly enjoys watching you do things that you love

speaking of fashion, ousuke ALWAYS gets you gifts, and fancy ones too. loves to bring you trinkets from when he’s away on missions and the next second he drops a limited edition handbag or that sweater you’ve been raving about.

most of the time he consults with tsukuyomi just to be sure, but do not fret, he knows what you like better than you do — better safe than sorry when it comes to you, though.

he likes to take you out to fancy restaurants and expect birthdays and anniversaries to be ELITE

he literally spoils you so much and loves it.

omg I think this the first time I get to write about Kyouya aka my first crush when I started reading Tougen Anki

Mudano knew all along you were the reason why he couldn't find his jacket, but it didn't really bother him. He would have worn something else, if stealing his clothes was enough to make you happy. If you want to keep it as a memento of him everytime he's out on a mission, you can. He'd actually like something yours to keep as a keepsake too though.

When he appears unannounced in your room, while you are admiring yourself in the mirror, wearing the jacket he was used to wear, you just smile to him, apologetically. He sighs, resigned, scrolling his shoulders - and then disappearing again. You'll notice later that the scarf you had left near the door had disappeared too.

Shiki is speechless when he sees you wearing his uniform. The size doesn't really fit you, but it doesn't matter, he believes everything looks good on you.

He's probably not going to wash his uniform in a while which earns him a disgusted look from Jin since he affirms that this way he can still smell your scent. You have to beg him to wash that uniform because whatever he is smelling isn't your scent anymore.

He wants you to borrow his clothes again, he cannot explain why, but Shiki feels good seeing you wearing them. Just an average teenager lending clothes to his s/o.

Jin laughs when he sees you wearing his shirt. It's unexpected - you don't know how to react since you weren't expecting his reaction. You are just standing there with him trying to hold back from laughing under his mask.

None of you know what's so funny about it; you are confused and Jin is too. He was just looking for that shirt be was sure he had left in your room, but wasn't expecting you to wear it instead and look cute in it. He didn't retrieve his shirt. Now it's your new pajama.

Kyouya pretends to pass out, letting himself fall theatrically on the bed after he had seen you wear the missing white coat he was looking for. As soon as he stands up, he looked at you up and down, a smile a on his face.

"It suits you." he declares, almost proudly, while adjusting his smiling face shaped brooch "Really. You should keep it."

He was straight-up going to tell about it to Mudano as soon as he had chance, with the same enthusiasm of a kid who has just been given candies.

rounds of cheers, laughter and excited chatter could be heard all around you. everywhere you turn are bright lights, blinding almost. yet at the same time it’s comforting seeing so many happy faces, yours included.

you watch patiently as shiki hands the stand manager a ticket and starts moving the joystick more aggressively each time he messes up. turning back to you he lets out a sheepish laugh, “sorry these things seem harder than they look”. you wave your hands dismissively, letting him know it’s ok and you don’t mind the wait.

as you’re waiting you feel a tug on your shirt, looking down you find a little girl staring at you.

“can I have your number for a date?”

at the same moment, shiki makes his triumphant return, plushie in hand. a little confused at the scene before him. patting her hair, you tell her you’re too old for her, but she sends you a confused look. “it’s not for me, it’s for my big brother” she giggles, pointing out her brother in the crowd. seeing as his cover has been blown he ducks behind a pole.

“please go out with him, he might die alone”

“oh, I’m actually-

“sorry kid, but they’re actually dating someone. someone super smart, funny, strong and very attractive” shiki drags on, hoping his choice of words will give her the hint you’re taken. she stares at you to shiki, back to you, back to shiki and says “I don’t see anyone like that here”. the little girl decides on giving up, this wasn’t her job anyway, she shrugs before running away. leaving a once confident shiki shocked.

“did I just get roasted by a child?”

“I think you did”

mikado

since being demoted, mikado finds himself to have more time on his hands, which is a great opportunity to spend more time with you. so on your break he makes his way to your work, lunch in hand since you have a habit of forgetting.

“that guy is staring at you”

craning your neck to the direction of his gaze, your annoyed scoff and glare that maybe he isn’t ‘just’ some guy.

“him? yea don’t worry about it. he shows up here from time to time asking for my number, I keep saying no, but he won’t listen.” and mikado can only sigh, it must be annoying to deal with such persistence. the guy clearly doesn’t see the glare your boyfriend is sending him, although it’s best he doesn’t. mikado isn’t in any way upset he asked for your number, you’re an alluring person, it’s bound to happen. but he did mind someone bothering his s/o repeatedly, not respecting your refusal − that makes him livid.

noticing how tense mikado’s gotten since hearing of your ‘secret admirer’, taking hold of his face you tilt his head back to you.

“forget about him, besides my boyfriend is super hot, so I pay no mind” you coo, watching his facial features soften again. feeling a little more relaxed, mikado thinks it’s best for him to go back home, not before talking some sense into your ‘secret admirer’.

“hi there”

“hello?”

“they’ve got a boyfriend with an impeccable hair care routine, your persistence is admirable, but not wanted. leave them alone, please and thanks”, before flipping his hair dramatically and making his way to the door. by the end of the day he makes sure it’s like the guy never existed in the first place.

to celebrate me hitting 1k followers, i prepared an event! it’s gonna be fairly simple — you’ll just have to pick a prompt and a character (and preferably also a rough explanation of what you envision) and send it out to me in my ask box!

RULES — there are only 10 slots available and i will close the requests once they are all filled out. You can only request one scenario per person, as i want everyone (or as many people as possible) to be able to request. These will be prioritized over standard requests (which are closed atm). What; When lonely days come, you always sat alone by the garden, the exact place where you met the generous boy named Shiki Ichinose, the child of Kishin.

Lonely days, are the days where you felt blue and seem to find the garden a homeward place for you to spend there all day by just sitting and dozing off with or without saying anything

In may sound kinda sad, but that's all what you seem to know. Ever since your life has been nothing but being chased by a Momotarou in your whole existence; you kind of get used to the quiet place of being alone and not opening up anymore. The day where your parents has disappeared, now that you had known better, you should have known that they we're most likely got killed. You didn't react over it though, it's been obvious since they are demons.

Staring at the scenery of the green grasses from the distance, your eyes stared dully at the colorful flowers as your brows furrowed unnoticeably. How could the flowers bloom so beautifully despite them holding a short amout of time?

"The flowers is pretty, aren't they?" A voice popped out of the blue as your ears jolt to the unfamiliar sound, turning around, you saw a boy with a grin on his face. Walking towards your way casually and taking a seat next to you as if you two had known each other for a long time.

Giving him a hum as an answer, you turned your attention back to the garden. Letting out a sharp breath, you close your eyes.

"Why are you all here all alone, uh... L/n?-san..."

Only for them to open again.

Giving him a confused glance, you gave him a questioning look, silently thinking to yourself when and how did he managed to know your last name before voicing it out loud.

"Oh? Woah?! You didn't know me at all. Damn L/n- san that's kinda harsh, but I am your classmate! Shiki Ichinose!"

Then it clicked like a light bulb, this is the new student Mudano-sensei had just got into the room. You heard about him but never really payed attention, who knows. You're just silently sitting at the corner of the classroom without anyone noticing you.

"Ah, the new student..." Then it got silent.

"You're actually not the type to talk? I noticed you inside the classroom just sitting there without saying a word at all. Unless if Muda-sen ask you something." He attempted to open a conversation for the both of you, or perhaps he tried to interact because he isn't used of being silent? Who knows.

Shrugging at him, you spoke quietly, the hoarse voice is yet to be expected because of the rare use of voice.

"I'm too lazy and tired to speak, I'm fine not opening my mouth though. You guys were actually loud." Besides, it's not that I could talk about anything anyway.

At that, Shiki chuckled as he scratch the back of his head. Looking at the distant with a thoughtful expression.

"Do you go here to the garden everyday?"

Do you? Of course not. This is just the place where you find seem an escape to the reality of, or to cope. Who knows what on this place.

"Not that much. I'm just going here because of some stuff." Closing your eyes, you sighed and glance at him, only to meet his curious expression.

"Useless stuff, perhaps. Don't mind it Ichinose-san."

With that, you stood up and bid him farewell as you walk out.

Lonely days that you could get lost in either fairytale dream or a nightmare by just dreaming while awake.

Random thoughts swirl inside your head like a mixture of colorful or monochrome paint. Some days, it's a daydream about being good, some time being bad. Some times, blanked thoughts. Just dozing off without any thoughts but continued anyway.

Looking down on your feet, you blankly stared at the ground as you sat by the wooden floor. The words and thoughts were blocked by nothingness as it just stayed like that for half of hour.

"Here again, L/n-san?" The voice of you seem to slight familiarize now popped out of the blue again, walking towards you with a smile, does that smile never disappear?

"Yes. Why are you here?" Though, you're just curious and Shiki knows that, it never fails to deliver the words harshly than it sounds, it supposed to be harmless yet it seems to stung if Shiki doesn't know anything better.

But alas, he brushed it off and give you a smile.

"Knew it. I actually came here just incase I see you. I mean, I don't see you in the classroom so..." Who knew that this boy acknowledged everyone's presence, he seems so kind for a person who had a foul mouth, kinda.

"Oh. That's crazy, aren't you getting bothered though? Don't you have something to do?" Again and Shiki brushed it off again like a butter cream, smoothly gliding to the knife's edge.

"Nope! I actually hoped to see you here. Besides, it's comforting here in a quiet place." Who knew quiet people are this comfortable... Kinda.

"Ah, it really does. And..." Looking over him silently, he gave you a questioning gaze, waiting for the continuation of your line.

"It's Y/n. First name does just fine, besides, you sound like you have a prejudice over me or something." You commented the last part as you hear him shriek in pain.

"What?! Is it really that bad? Damn. But likewise here, Shiki is fine by me!" That, he grinned and enthusiastically converse with you for the day.

Lonely days that supposed to be dozing and being alone, isolating from others and being quiet without anyone around talking or approaching to you.

When did all that changed? The concept of being alone, or lonely.

Standing by the garden, you stared at the newly flowers that has just bloomed, the old ones that you used to admired withered away as the days passed by.

"Y/n! I knew it that you would be here again. What's up?" The voice that you used to familiarize fully now is the voice of the person you always see when you go by the garden.

Giving half your attention to him, you nod at him in acknowledgement as he walk towards your way.

"I'm just staring." You muttered, but he knows what you meant exactly by that. Sighing to himself, you couldn't tell if it was exasperated or relief, nonetheless, you see him raise his hand and put it above your head, patting your head like a kid.

"C'mon Y/n-chan. You know you can tell me what's wrong. We're friends, aren't we?"

At the concept of friends and at the sentence, you flinched slightly as your lips parted. Did he really thought that? So that means he would stay and listen to you, right?

With that, a smile crept out of your mouth and a rose color painted your cheeks, your hand snaking to grab his hands that is planted on your head, you squeeze them as you spoke.

"Thank you, Shiki-kun."

Lonely days in a garden that supposed to be you and you only who goes to that place but turns out to be a meeting spot for two people to hang out each other, how did it start to be like this again?

It is like a blue moon that it's rare for you to see, the sudden change of the events almost made your heart pound of how fast it is.

"These flowers is like us, don't you know that?" Starting the conversation with him, you twirled the colorful flower between your fingers as he let out a hum in confusion.

"But. Despite having a short life, it still bloom beautifully as ever." Looking at him, you silently held out the flower for him to receive it.

"Because they have the sunlight and waters, there's the source where they lived, right?" You told him but asked after for question, though, all he did was nod. Perhaps he read to the books how things was done and like that. Luckily the idea wht you're talking about is the topic he read somewhere.

"As Oni, our lives are also in line every single time. How could you, Shiki-kun, managed to bloom as beautifully as this flower? Despite you knowing that you could die at any time?"

With a jaw dropping question, Shiki Ichinose was completely dumbfounded at the situation given, asking if this is intentional or not, it even sound like a confession for him. Alas, he asnwered anyway.

"Because I have the source of mine, that is, to bring back peace between the two clans and to avenge my pops. To see my friends and everyone live here without dying in a very early stages of life. And you know what, I added one reason for that."

Looking at you with a smile, you tilted your head at him before completely flinching in surprise. A warm sensation enveloped your frame as you stilled in place, letting him wrap his arms around you.

"For you to smile again and be free. You might feel lonely, but you're not alone, because as long as I live, we got to see each other in this garden. Just like we both call it home."

Lonely days in the garden turns to home, before, the garden and it's breathe is just like a winter storms that is unable to calm down, but now, it completely melts down like season summer took over and start a new fresh breathe of air. Now, the garden you used to think as an escape reality turns to a fresh new home. With the child of Kishin, Shiki Ichinose.

"Is that a confession I heard, Ichinose Shiki-kun?"

🖇a/n: yes yes, valentines was long ago and i was like "oh no, im too late". but a wise soul told me it didn't matter, since febuary isn't over. so here we are then, also look at this thank emily for the contribution and the idea for masumi's part🙇🏿‍♀️ as you can tell, i put a whole lot more into ikari's part, basically turned it into a drabble XD hope you enjoy and feedback is always appreciated, have a good day <3

Shiki - jin is appalled, he almost hates you now. the sole reason being you agreed to be shiki’s valentine. not that he cares, but now he won’t shut up about it. “gosh y/n, i'm so glad you agreed to be my valentine y’know? I was really nervous you’d say no,” he confesses, rubbing his neck sheepishly. “why wouldn't I agree? I think you’re really sweet and the poster looks amazing. you must’ve worked really hard” and he did, he wanted to make those big creative posters he’d seen on the internet and put a lot of effort into it. spending the last week or so gathering the items and putting them together, in the end he’s just really glad you said yes.

Ikari - he has no idea what he’s doing here, ikari really has no idea why he’s standing in front of your dorm door-at exactly at 12:01am. 2mins after valentines day, with a box of chocolates and a teddy bear. fuck, this is so stupid, he curses under his breath. he’s been pacing back and forth for a whole minute and he really wants to leave. but he can’t, after talking a big game on how the guys were wusses on asking their crushes out. so they dared him to ask you to be his valentines and out of all people it had to be you? the same girl he’s been crushing on since the start of the academy? yea, no way in hell; but he wasn’t gonna be called a chicken no way. inhaling slowly and wiping the sweat of his palms, he knocks on your door. another minute goes by and he’s ready to bolt, but as he turns around you swing the door open.

“ikari? what are you doing here, it’s late”

well there's no going back now. he rids his hands of sweat again, before shoving the chocolate into your hands. “look, I don’t give 2 shits about valentines. but everyone's been yapping about it, so I figured i’d do my part ”he grumbles, head hanging low in hopes you don’t see the blush on his face. “oh yea? what if I don’t like chocolate?”, you taunt. it wasn’t everyday you get to see this side of him, so you had to tease him now or you’d never get another chance. ikari whips his head to look at you, you don’t like chocolate? lucky for you he had a plan b, shoving the teddy bear into your hands-with a card that reads ‘be my valentine?’ on it and dashes back to his dorm without hearing your answer. when he wakes up later in the day, getting ready for training he notices a small letter taped to his door. picking it up, he opens it with caution and reads ‘yes, i’ll be your valentine. ps. thank you for the bear <3’ in the neatest handwriting he’s ever seen.

Masumi - “uh sir? are you sure we should be doing this?” karou frets, trying to reason with his senior. “why wouldn’t we? I mean, we’re already done. so there’s no going back”. masumi knew that even though you both were dating, it was only right he asked you to be his valentine and of course if masumi had a plan then he’s getting karou involved. “I'm just worried she'll get mad, after all we don’t live here and y/n’s not home. doesn’t this count as trespassing?” and karou was right, you would get mad. you only gave your boyfriend a spare key to your place, incase of an emergency and surprising you on one of the busiest days of the year wasn’t an emergency. “well technically it’s not, since I have a key,” he laughs, moving from place to place readjusting the pink heart shaped balloons that've been placed all over your house. another hour passes before masumi hears the click of the front door-signaling you were home. he quickly ushers karou to stand behind him, karou doing as he's told, grabs the small confetti popper and waits for his time to move again. walking into your house and kicking off your shoes, as you turn on the lights you scream realizing- there are 2 people who shouldn't be in your house that are currently staring at you. "HAPPY VALENTINES BABE," masumi declares, holding out a sign that reads 'WILL U BE MINE/VALENTINE’ in big bold letters. not to mention the confetti that karou has now popped into the air. "what the actual hell is going on?," you begin, trying to wave away the confetti.

"uh...valentine's surprise?" like that wasn't already obvious.

“yea, but why at my hous-"

“why not?”

walking away to grab something on a table, he leaves you bewildered. walking back to you, he hands you 2 plushies connected by holding hands and sweets in his other hand. he gives you a soft smile, “look at this, they look like us. got it custom made and I had karou make these too, since they’re your favorite”. jt was a really sweet gesture, you could tell he put in a lot of effort. you still wished he didn’t sneak into your house, but even so-it was the thought that counted.
