iceposeidon might very well be the first big kick suspension other streamers on the platform are pretty furious and kick even agrees it was over the line. Not illegal sure but just fucking weird

not to essayandy about streaming but w the news abt xqc moving to kick i want to jump in with a quick reality check. bc people meme about kick a lot but it is in reality the streaming site that has loyally platformed adin ross, destiny, and iceposeidon since its inception. adin ross and destiny in particular were both permanently banned from twitch for hateful conduct that they (afaik) continue to stand by and perpetuate. kick's appeal is its lack of moderation and care for """political correctness""" (aka overt racism, misogyny, transphobia, antisemitism, etc etc etc) and them signing xqc is.... not good! and signals some very gross things happening in the streaming world! because twitch keeps making decisions that fuck over creators, and will probably keep doing that, and if kick becomes the most viable alternative that's going to alienate so many viewers not to mention CREATORS who are queer or trans or nonwhite or part of whatever other communities kick chats and streamers target.

i think dream just decided to minimize online interaction (esp. on twitter) with ccs he's close to who are not from florida.

idk much about everyone else but i feel like tina, karl, foolish interacts with dteam more so off-cam. like when tina was like "oh, not the chess again" back when she was playing valo with snf and punz said he played valo with george, tina and no one streamed it. i just knew there were lots off-cam interaction. same with karl. i don't like karl too as he thinks of "content" every damn time and it's super exhausting to witness like just relax dude but i won't say he and dteam hates each other. karl's history with iceposeidon may explain why doesn't talk about dream. foolish, on the other, he's not so active on social media. so his very few interaction with dteam is understandable.

what? Dream did not decide that lmao. And I highly doubt Karl or Foolish interact with him off cam. Tina probably saw him in LA so I guess she did there but otherwise, also don't think it's common at all.

i fucking hate how twitch is trying to rebrand itself as woke. if you’re going to do that, you have to actually own up to the fact that your website has been and still is a fucking cesspool of toxicity. in nearly every stream you can find someone spamming emotes in a racially charged way. a big streamer has an emote that’s an antisemitic dogwhistle. not to mention the actual racist shit you see chatters typing constantly

I think the turning on Karl thing started with the eugenics charity thing. A lot of people didn’t like how he handled that, and then the stuff with him supporting some banned violently racist twitch streamer at some point in his life (genuinely don’t remember the details). And I think those happened relatively close to each other so a lot of shit thrown at him at once. But like Karl still has an army on Twitter, and they talk over the negative from what I’ve seen
