au in which Goose is a Navy surgeon, Mav flies with Merlin and the pair Iceman and Slider is infamous because of Iceman abilities but for all the scandal Slider takes with him, dating so openly another man's wife.
Or how Mav gets to know Goose after the first night at the O-Club because his wife runs all the way to the tall man drinking beer and laughing at something the Iceman said, before kissing him in front of everyone.

Starting my "If Mav gets a harem of aviators then Carole gets a harem of beautiful women" agenda with a college au
Modern AU
Carole went to a Catholic school in Texas
She goes to uni in California to study literature and her roommate is one Charlotte Blackwood
Charlie's doing a major in Physics and a minor in Political Science and is one of those students who is always put together, even for the earliest lectures
She has a faculty job, maybe organising events or something
Carole meets Goose, called that for his laugh, through Charlie because he's also studying physics, they start dating
Charlie starts dating Pete, studying Engineering
Ron gets brought in because he's a childhood friend of Goose, Tom is brought in through Carole's book club
Pete starts falling for Tom, Goose falls for Pete, and Carole falls for Charlie
Goose and Carole break up and go for their respective crushes
Pete, now dating Goose and openly having a crush on Tom too, they hook up with aromantic Ron sometimes too, also starts dating Penny
Carole and Charlie give it a go, they both also find one Penelope Benjamin attractive and start to organise their dates to be at the bar
But Pete breaks her heart and Carole's terrified that Penny, not a student, will just go home without anything there to hold her
Charlie calms her down, they go to Penny together and after some talking, they arrange a date, maybe after some healing time, and the crew is almost all together
Pete's break up with Penny awakens him to confess his feelings to Tom
Charlie wears lacey lingerie sets every day and Carole and Penny love it
She also loves to leave red lipstick marks on them both
Sarah visits, either she's at another uni or is working somewhere else, she's an ace lesbian (and Tom's sister) and loves having non-sexual flings with the girls when she's in town
They all gets apartments together, apart from Ron, he enjoys sex and general hang outs with the boys but makes sure there is a boundary for what he's comfortable with
Carole goes on to do a masters and becomes a librarian, Penny stays on at the bar, Charlie gets some government job, Goose does some teacher training and becomes a physics teacher and I'm not sure what the others do but that's all I really have

“y/n/n, come on! We don’t want to be late you know what they get like!” Maverick calls through the house, pulling his aviators out of his jacket pocket and sticking them on his face. It takes you but a minute to come down the stairs putting your own sunglasses on as you pick up the bag of things you were going to be bringing with you to the beach.
“I’m here, cool your jets dad.” You laugh as you walk past your dad as he rolls his eyes, grabs his keys and follows behind you. The two of you walk to the beach, chatting amongst each other until you reach the beach.
“Who did you say was coming again?” You ask as you scour the beach for your dads’ teammates.
“Goose, Ice, Slider, Wolfman, Hollywood, and their families of course.” Maverick replies as he looks around for his friends, a grin crossing his face when he catches a glimpse of his RIO waving madly in their direction. Maverick points Goose out to you, and you make your way over to him. Goose is quick to drag you into a hug, ruffling the top of your head as you groan and swat at his hand jokingly.
“You’d think you hadn’t seen me in years, Uncle Goose.” You laugh as you’re finally released from the hug.
“Forgive me for missing my niece after I went away for a week.” Goose says, a mocking sarcastic tone to his voice as he places a hand on his heart.
“I missed you too. But just between us, I think dad missed you most. He seemed pretty lost without you.” You say quietly, eliciting a laugh from Goose as he throws his head back. Goose had gone away for a week with Bradley and Carole to visit Carole’s parents and Maverick had moped around without his partner in crime.
“I better go say hi.” Goose says with a grin, patting your shoulder before crossing to Maverick, allowing Carole to sweep you up into a hug.
“Hello, sweet girl! How have you been?” Carole asks sweetly as she hugs you. When she pulls away, her hands remain on your upper arms as she smiles at you.
“I’ve been good Auntie Carole. It’s summer so there’s not been much to do, especially when the Bradshaws are out of town.” You shrug with a soft smile. Carole nods with a smile of her own as she releases you, allowing Bradley to greet you.
“Hey y/n/n.” Bradley greets, waving slightly as your jaw drops in mock offense before tugging him into a hug.
“Don’t you tell me you’re that after a week away you’re too grown up to hug your best friend?” You ask teasingly as you hug him tight.
“Never.” Bradley replies, wrapping his arms around you and reciprocating the hug. Bradley’s hugs always felt safe, his height meant you were perfectly cocooned in his embrace, and it felt like nothing could hurt you.
“Let’s get this party started!”
“Slider, it’s not a party.” You and Bradley break apart at the familiar sound of Iceman and Slider’s friendly bickering. You turn to see the two men approaching your dad and Goose with their wives following behind. Slider had recently married his long-term girlfriend Jessica whereas Iceman had been married to his wife Sarah for a couple of years and was expecting their first child. You went over to greet them happily, hugging each person with a smile as you greeted them.
“Wolfman and Hollywood aren’t here yet?” Slider asks as he glances over at Goose and Maverick who shake their heads with a laugh.
“Those two are never on time.” Your dad laughs as he thinks about how Wolfman and Hollywood would always turn up late to any meet up the team organised. Those of you who had just arrived began to set up the stuff you’d bought. You laid out a towel while your dad set up his beach chair. As you plunge the sun umbrella into the sand to cast a shadow over your dad’s beach seat, you hear the familiar voices of Wolfman and Hollywood as they approach with their wives in tow. Hollywood had his young daughter in his arms while Wolfman was chasing after his rambunctious twin boys. You greeted the aviators and their wives before returning to Carole to help her and Bradley set up some more beach chairs alongside where you’d set up stuff for you and your dad. Once everyone had set up their beach things, you pulled your shirt and shorts off, leaving you in a bikini as you kicked your flip-flops off. You wanted to get some tanning time in, and you figured you’d go for a swim at some point as well. You sit on your towel, at first reading your book while the adults chat amongst each other. The wives took to gossiping amongst each other, wanting to know the ins and outs of what was happening around town while the men talked about how things were going at work. Iceman talked about how he was put forward for an early promotion and was working as hard as possible to get it. You tried to focus on your book, but it became a near impossible task when Bradley sprawled himself across half across your towel, half across his own as he grinned up at you with that lopsided grin you loved so much.
“Can I help you, Bradshaw?” You ask teasingly as you glanced over the top of your book, seeing his large smile which made you smile too.
“We’re at the beach. You don’t need to be reading.” Bradley insists, reaching up to take the book out of your hands, making sure to put the bookmark in for you before tucking the book back in your bag.
“What if I like reading on the beach?” You quip, raising an eyebrow at Bradley who shrugs shamelessly.
“Well, I must be doing an awful job at being an entertaining friend. C’mon, let’s do something fun! I think dad bought a football.” Bradley says, grabbing you by the hands and pulling you to your feet. Once you’re on your feet, Bradley digs around in the bag his parents had bought before triumphantly pulling the football out and holding it above his head.
“Are the old timers joining in?” You ask teasingly as you glance at your dad and his friends.
“Old timers?”
“You’ve got some sass, Mitchell.”
“You asked for it, kid.” Your words sparked mock outrage within the group of aviators as their wives laughed at their shock. All the aviators scrambled to their feet, Wolfman snatching the football out of Bradley’s hands before moving to a clearer area of the beach so you could toss the ball to each other. The group of you pass the ball to each other, laughing as the women call out to their husbands in an attempt to distract them.
After five minutes of playing catch, Slider looks over to where you were laughing and exchanging a high five with Bradley when he caught sight of a group of teenage boys a little way down the beach staring at you, clearly admiring the sight of you in a bikini. Clenching his jaw, Slider gestured for his teammates to join him.
“Sorry kids, the old timers need five minutes.” Slider laughs as the rest of the team approaches him while you and Bradley roll your eyes, content to toss the ball back and forth between yourselves for a bit.
“What’s up?” Hollywood asked, folding his arms across his chest as he approaches Slider, all of them wondering why they were called over.
“There’s a group of boys eyeing up mini Mitchell. They’re just staring right now but I thought we should keep an eye out.” Slider says lowly, just in case either you or Bradley overheard what was being said. When Slider noticed all of their eyes widening, he quickly shushed them before the outbursts could begin. Goose was quick to grab Maverick before he stormed across the beach to give them a piece of his mind.
“Why are teen boys so gross?” Maverick grumbles, quickly locating the group of boys and hating the way they were staring at his little girl.
“Mav, you were exactly the same when you were that age. To some extent, you still act like that.” Goose says, raising an eyebrow and chuckling when Maverick glares over at him.
“Goose, not the time.” Maverick hisses over at his best friend who simply lets go of him and holds his hands up in defeat.
“Alright, we’ll keep an eye out. Just don’t tell her what’s going on. We don’t need to freak her out.” Iceman says, cool and calm as ever but everyone could hear the tension in his tone. He hated when guys would shamelessly stare at women and make them uncomfortable. And he knew that Sarah was pregnant with his daughter, and he hated the thought that she’d be born into a world where men acted like that. The team of aviators share a knowing nod with each other before breaking apart and returning to the game. They play catch with you and Bradley for a little longer until Wolfman’s twin sons decided to start clamouring for ice cream, which causes Hollywood’s daughter to beg for ice cream too. Eventually, the whole team buckled and decided to go and get ice cream. You and Bradley elected to stay with all the beach stuff to ensure nothing was stolen. You kept a vigilant eye on everyone’s belongings while Bradley laid on his back, a pair of Goose’s aviators on his face as he soaked up the sun. Before too long had passed, you heard the familiar voices of your dad and his team as they approached. Wolfman’s twins immediately came rushing over to you and Bradley, proudly showing off their ice creams while Hollywood’s daughter was more content to stick by her mum’s side, shyly offering the two of you a wave that you both returned.
“Isn’t it crazy that it used to just be us two kids? And now Hollywood and Wolfman have kids, and Ice is expecting his first. We’re the oldest kids here now.” You say, glancing over at Bradley who props himself up on his elbows.
“Technically speaking, I’m the oldest.” Bradley says with a smirk before you shove his shoulder, causing him to fall flat on his back.
“Only by a year.” You say, laughing as he reaches out to flick your arm.
“That’s a whole year of life experience I have that you don’t.” Bradley teases, sitting up properly.
“Oh, I forgot. Being fifteen makes you a pro at life.” You say, rolling your eyes as you laugh. As you and Bradley talk, Hollywood decides he’s had enough of the boys staring at you from afar, so he enacts his plan to try and get you to change. He pretends to trip and drops his ice cream all down your front.
“I’m so sorry, kid. Do you have some clothes to change into?” He asks sheepishly as the rest of the team laughs at his mishap.
“Don’t worry. I’ll just go for a swim. That’ll help wash it off. C’mon Bradley.” You say dismissively to Hollywood before grabbing Bradley’s hand and starting off towards the sea.
“Well, that didn’t work.” Hollywood mutters, dropping down into his beach chair and watching as the teen boys were watching you drag Bradley down to the sea. Seeing you and Bradley going towards the sea, Wolfman’s twins started saying that they wanted to go in the sea too.
“Alright boys, I’ll take you down there.” Wolfman says, gaining cheers from his kids. As Wolfman’s wife gets the boys ready, smearing them with suncream the second they took their shirts off leaving them just in swim trunks, Wolfman turns to Maverick and asks for your spare towel, an idea formulating in his head to get the teen boys to stop their hopeless staring. Wolfman then got up from his seat, slinging your towel over his shoulder as he leads his kids down to the sea, laughing to himself as they barrelled in, both immediately being knocked over by a wave. He shot a glance over at the teen boys and he noticed they were now pulling their shirts off and heading into the sea. He noticed how they didn’t make a move to come any closer, maybe the presence of the aviators and Bradley was enough to keep them at bay but not quite enough to stop their stares. Wolfman moves his attention back to his kids and smiles as you and Bradley let them hop on your back letting them splash sea water at each other, laughing as you and Bradley get caught in the crossfire. When the boys tire of the sea, they wade back to the shore and approach their dad.
“Dad, I’m hungry.”
“Dad, I’m starving.” Both boys complain the second they reach Wolfman who rolls their eyes, it had been not even fifteen minutes since they finished their ice creams.
“Let’s go to your mum, I’m sure she packed something for you.” Wolfman urges, guiding his boys back towards his wife so they could dry off with a towel and get something to eat. When Wolfman turned his head to see you and Bradley exiting the sea, he came barrelling over to you, wrapping you up in the towel as you laugh at Wolfman’s sudden appearance.
“Uncle Wolf, no offence but what?” You manage to say through laughter as you’re swaddled in the towel.
“Don’t need you getting cold.” Wolfman says as he takes a step back, happy with his handiwork.
“And you don’t care if I get cold?” Bradley asks, a raised eyebrow as he laughs.
“Just teaching Mitchell junior how a man should treat her. As her uncle it’s important she knows how she should be treated. Take notes Bradshaw junior.” Wolfman says before heading back up to his wife.
“Does he know that your parents are the literal definition of romance? Any girl would be lucky to have you, Bradley.” You grin as you unravel yourself from the towel cocoon that Wolfman had trapped you in. Bradley watched as you walked further up the beach towards your dad with a slight blush on his cheeks. He had been harbouring a crush on you for a while now and he was still working on the courage to ask you out. As Bradley glances around the beach, he notices the group of boys staring and narrows his eyes. He didn’t know who they were but their unashamed staring and jostling of each other made them public enemy number one in his eyes. He chased after you and went to join you again when Wolfman’s twins came darting over to him, now full of food and energy and demanding he plays fighter pilots with them. Bradley looked over at you, seeing you sat on your towel with Hollywood’s daughter in your lap, sunglasses atop your head as you read her the book, she’d brought with her before turning back to Wolfman’s twins and agreeing to play with them. When you finish reading the story to Hollywood’s daughter, you noticed that she was starting to get sleepy and you figured it was time for her nap.
“I got her.” Hollywood says softly as he lifts his daughter from your lap, smiling softly at the feeling of her winding her arms around his neck and snuggling closer. You glanced over at Bradley who was currently pinned down by two hyper boys as you chuckled lightly to yourself but not caring to get involved. As you move to grab your book, Goose, who had been returning from a nearby shop after Carole realised she’d forgotten a water bottle, chose to accidentally trip over Maverick’s beach umbrella. The pole missed hitting you, and the umbrella shielded you from the stares of the teenage boys who groaned and exchanged looks with each other at not being able to see you anymore. Using the opportunity they had, Iceman and Slider glared over at the boys, hoping their joint cold stare would be enough to get them to back off.
“I’m so sorry y/n. I didn’t hurt you, did I?” Goose says quickly and apologetically while you wave him off with a laugh, shifting to be sat on your knees so you could get the umbrella upright again.
“All good, Uncle Goose. No harm done.” You grin up at your uncle who ruffles your hair with a smile before moving to sit with Carole. He looks over to where the boys were and they were still looking, not as much as before but still obvious enough to anyone.
“How have these idiots not got the hint yet?” Goose mutters to himself, being overheard by Carole who chuckles and grabs his hand.
“They’re teenage boys, Nick. Boys do stupid things like stare at pretty girls. Our Bradley’s been doing it all day as well.” Carole says, gesturing lightly with her head towards their son who had just been freed from the clutches of Wolfman’s twins and he was immediately looking over at you with a grin.
“We love Bradley. We want Bradley to admit his painfully obvious feelings. It’s different when it’s a bunch of teen boys we don’t know staring from across a beach.” Goose grumbles as he looks from his son to the boys across the beach.
“Aren’t you cold?” Your dad's voice pulls you out of the focus you had on your book, making you raise an eyebrow at him.
“What?” You ask, shocked that question had left your dad’s mouth at how hot it was outside.
“I was asking if you were cold, it’s a little chilly, don’t you think?” Maverick then says, grabbing his jacket and holding it out towards you with an expectant look.
“Dad, respectfully, it’s summer in San Diego and you’re asking me to put a jacket on?” You ask, wondering what on earth got into your dad for him to be acting this way.
“I’m just looking out for my daughter. Don’t need you catching a cold or anything.” Maverick replies, returning his jacket to the bag and leaning back in his beach chair. You rolled your eyes and returned your attention to your book as Maverick muttered under his breath about how annoying those boys were, all unheard to you. Once again, you were torn away from your book by Bradley snatching the book out of your hand, putting the bookmark in and closing it once more.
“I’m letting the team down again. Come on let’s do more beach shit.”
“Bradley Bradshaw!” Bradley was cut off by Carole who was glaring daggers at him for his choice of language.
“Sorry, mum.” Bradley apologises with a sheepish tone, his hand reaching up to rub at the back of his neck as he shrunk further under his mother’s gaze.
“Look at what you men have done to my sweet Bradley.” Carole tuts as the aviator's exchange looks with each other.
“It’s what happens to military brats, unfortunately. y/n’s just as bad.” Maverick shrugs unapologetically, looking over at Carole with his signature flashy smile.
“Let’s escape this conversation.” You whisper to Bradley, getting up and walking away from the conversation with Bradley hot on your heels. Bradley glanced over in the direction of the boys and when he saw them jostling each other and laughing as they stared at you, he instinctively wrapped an arm around your shoulders, tugging you into his side. He felt a sense of triumph when he looked across the beach and saw the boys finally leaving, all glaring at Bradley who simply gave them a shit-eating grin.
“Is this your idea of beach shit?” You ask, a raised eyebrow at Bradley’s actions as you hoped he didn’t notice your now flushed cheeks. Bradley remained silent, his brain short-circuiting at the way he was holding you. He could handle a hug, holding your hand would cause a slight blush but having you tucked into your side was causing him to stop functioning. He thought about how he had asked his dad for advice on how to ask you out and the only help Goose provided was saying to just ask, that the worst that could happen was you saying no.
“Hey, y/n. Can I ask you something?” Bradley asks, releasing you from his embrace and turning to face you.
“Of course.” You say, a gentle smile gracing your face as he takes your hand carefully.
“Do you think… I could take you out on a date sometime? Maybe that old diner along the beach?” Bradley asks an unusual shyness sneaking into his voice as he looks down at your hand where your fingers interlaced with his.
“I’m free after school on Friday.” You say, your smile widening slightly as Bradley looks up at you. His smile grew ten times larger when he locked eyes with you from behind his sunglasses. He lifted his free hand to set his aviators on top of his head so he could make proper eye contact with you.
“I think I can arrange something.” He says teasingly, making you laugh before he tugged you into a hug.
“Seven o’clock at the diner sound good?” He asks as he squeezes you slightly.
“Sounds like a plan Bradshaw.” You agree.
Further up on the beach, Goose had been watching the entire interaction from afar. He didn’t know what words had been said but he knew that from the shy smiles on your faces that Bradley had said something of significance regarding his feelings.
“Honey, look, I think our boy finally did it.” Goose says excitedly to Carole, drawing her attention to you and her son.
“Oh, look at them. It’s about time.” She gushes, grabbing Goose’s hand as her smile grows.
“Hey, Mav. Looks like we’ve got a wedding to plan.” Goose says over to his best friend, getting Maverick to look at where you and Bradley were now heading down to swim in the sea again.
“Absolutely not.” Maverick says, cringing at the thought of his daughter marrying anyone.
“Maverick, you know better than anyone that our Bradley is perfect for your daughter. She lights up around him. They’ll get married, mark my words.” Carole says, making Maverick shake his head with a chuckle before focusing his attention back on you and Bradley, where you and his best friend’s son were in the sea. He’d never admit it to anyone, maybe to Goose if he was drunk enough, but he knew Bradley was the guy for you. He saw the way you looked at each other and it was exactly the kind of pure love Goose and Carole had. He wanted nothing but for his daughter to have someone who could keep her safe when Maverick couldn’t, and Bradley seemed to step into that role without a hitch.
“I’m making a bet. Fifty bucks says we have a Bradshaw-Mitchell wedding in our future.”
Maverick couldn’t even begin to argue with that and so silently prepared himself to be giving Goose fifty dollars in the future.

You call Reese while you change into something more comfortable to let her know the good news. By the time you make it downstairs, Bradley’s already outside.
He’s already got a beer for you waiting while he tosses a ball for Hank from his chair.
You don’t miss the way his gaze lingers on your bare legs as you cross them.
Instead of asking about the divorce, he asks you about your parents and growing up. In turn, he tells you about Carole and Goose and losing them both so young. You learn more about the people you met last weekend at the party, how Reese’s in-laws were like second parents to him growing him, and how Ice, Penny, and Mav all stepped up too.
“You’re telling me I met the admiral and didn’t even realize it?” Your eyes widen as you try to remember your introduction, hoping you didn’t make a fool of yourself.
“Yeah,” he laughs, “Sorry, I should’ve told you, but I didn’t want to make you more nervous. He’s unintentionally intimidating as is.”
“Just a little,” you say, remembering how true that was.
“He’s extremely observant too; never let me get away with anything when I was a teenager; always saw right through it when I’d lie to my mom.”
“Maybe you’re just a bad liar,” you tease.
He smiles and shrugs, “You’re not wrong, Andy was much better at thinking on the fly to get out of trouble when we were younger.”
The conversation takes a turn toward what it was like growing up with Reese’s late husband. Your heart breaks when he tells you about how it was more than losing his best friend but losing his brother too.
“…and then,” he laughs without mirth before taking a heavy drink of beer, “I kissed his wife on the first anniversary of his death. We were both drunk, like…really drunk. Reese was such a mess that night; I’d never seen her like that. She’s always been so put-together, even with having a baby. But she had just stopped breastfeeding Drew and was so thin from all the stress. She was crying because she missed Andy, crying and saying it was a good thing she never wanted to date again because who would want someone that looked like her? And that just killed me. Andy would’ve hated her talking about herself like that…so I kissed her.”
“What did she do?” You ask, curiously; knowing grief is fickle.
“Kissed me back,” he sighs, “it was like 10 seconds. I came to my senses and pulled away. Then she laughed,” he chuckles, “and I started to cry. I don’t see her that way at all. Sure, she’s a beautiful woman but…no,” he scrunches his nose in disgust, making you smile. “God, I still feel bad about it. She and I have never talked about it since.”
“I wouldn’t beat yourself up over it,” you reply, “and from what I’ve heard about Andy from you and Reese? He wouldn’t either. Grief makes you do things you normally wouldn’t. Like staying in an abusive relationship.”
“That’s different,” he argues, handing you a third beer.
“Not really,” you sigh, “I’d taken care of countless abused women in the ER, begged them to get help, testified in court against their abusers, but when it started happening to me? I did nothing, I was numb from the grief of losing my family and it was like he knew…he knew could get away with it when I was already down.”
“But you did do something,” he argues, “you did leave him.”
You nod, “Should’ve done it sooner, but I did.”
“Cheers to that,” he nods, clinking his bottle to yours. “So what are you gonna do now as a single woman? Go on a blind date? Or to that beach he always said was too far?”
“Maybe go to New York City, or spend a week at the spa and come back knocked-out pretty,” you smile as you quote George Strait too.
“You don’t need a week at the spa for that,” he replies before taking a long pull of his beer.
You give him a small smile before looking away, hiding the heat that rises to your face at his compliment.
•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•
“I think I should eat something before I fall asleep,” you mumble after finishing your 5th beer, well past tipsy and feeling good, “or I’m not gonna regret it in the morning.”
“I ordered pizza a few minutes ago,” Bradley smiles as he holds up his phone, “remember? I asked you what you like?”
“Oh.” You snort and shake your head. “Okay, yeah I remember now. God, I love pizza.”
He laughs, “You said that too.”
“That’s what I’m gonna do now that I’m single, eat lots of pizza, ice cream, cake, drink beer. I really do want to take a vacation too. Oh, and I decided I’m gonna order a vibrator…”
Bradley chokes on his drink but you fail to notice.
“I heard good things about a rose one? I don’t know, I’ll have to do some research first. There’s so many options. Maybe I’ll get more than one. Hey, are you okay?” You smack a sputtering Bradley on the back a few times.
“Thanks,” he wheezes, “I’m good, I think the pizzas here.”
“I can get it-whoa,” you stand up a bit too quickly but he’s there, steadying you gently by your arm.
“Thanks,” you look up into those deep brown eyes. You don’t stop your hand from reaching up to cup his jaw to run your thumb over the scars there, “You’re so…”
Beautiful, charming, funny, sweet, kind, patient…
You don’t say any of that though, and instead rock up on your tiptoes for a kiss just as he begins to lean in too.
But Hank starts barking at the doorbell when your lips are a just hairsbreadth away, startling you both.
“I’ll just…” Bradley nearly trips as he steps away, hitting his heel on the leg of the chair, “go get that.”
“Uh yeah, okay,” you say, tucking your hair behind your ear. “I’ll just be out here?”
“Sounds good,” you nod, sitting back down as your heart races in your chest.
•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•
Neither of you brings up the near kiss again. Not that night, not in the weeks that follow, nor when summer turns into fall and fall turns into early winter.
There hasn’t been another word or sighting of Chad and you find yourself hopeful that he might actually leave you alone for good. You also start seeing a therapist once a week and begin to feel like you’re starting to heal.
While still on the lookout for an apartment, you haven’t had any luck; not that you’re truly trying that hard.
Living with Bradley feels like home; more than the last one ever did.
Not only does he keep the house clean and treat Hank like he would his own; but he also does small things; things that make your tummy flutter. Like having your favorite ice cream always stocked in the freezer and bringing home a plant a few days after hearing you mention to Reese you were thinking of getting one.
You’ve gone out with Reese and Jake more times than you can count and out to a movie alone once or twice. You’ve even been included on Drew and Bradley’s boys' night “as long as you don’t tell my mom.”
It almost feels like you’re dating without the intimacy.
But you want the intimacy. You want the sex. Hearing Bradley getting off to the thought of you had awakened the libido you thought no longer existed.
It’s like he knows it too; mowing the lawn without a shirt, groaning loudly while lifting weights, sending heated glances your way when you stretch after a run, letting his hand linger on your lower back when he passes you in the kitchen.
While you were completely mortified at your drunk self for telling Bradley, you still ordered a vibrator the next day.
And have used it nearly every day in the 5 months since.
•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•
Finished with work early on a rainy Friday afternoon, you change and walk through the bathroom to hit the treadmill in an attempt to wear yourself out before you wear out the batteries.
It doesn’t work.
You’re just as horny as you were before but now you’re tired and your right hamstring is spasming.
“Shae?” Bradley calls from the front door, “You here?”
“Yeah,” you try to keep your voice even as the back of your leg tightens further, “I’m up here. Just work-fuck! Working out.”
“Are you okay?” You heat him set down his keys and hurry up the stairs.
“Fine,” you grit out, “just a leg cramp.”
He stops by the door, eyes widening at the sight of you lying on the floor, clad in only a sports bra and tight short shorts. Your eyes do a perusal of their own, catching the dog tags lying against his white undershirt, his flight suit unzipped and tied loosely around his waist.
He looks so fucking good.
“Here,” his voice is low and husky as he kneels beside you, “try to straighten your leg.”
Your breath hitches as you feel his big, calloused hands on your thigh and ankle as he tries to help.
“Good,” he praises as your leg shakes but eventually straightens, “‘atta girl.”
Oh God.
You close your eyes as you whimper, nipples straining against the thin material of your sports bra while your pussy pulses with need.
“I know it hurts, just try to relax,” he murmurs, gently putting pressure on the ball of your foot, “you can take it, just let me stretch you.”
“Fuck,” you breathe, arousal soaking your shorts as you picture him saying those same words in a much different context.
“Here,” he says as he shifts, “put your leg up here. Yeah, like that,” he hums as you prop your ankle on his shoulder, and he leans forward, “That feel good?”
When you open your eyes he’s mere inches from your face. He’s studying your face, looking for any sign of discomfort. But the only discomfort you feel now is between your legs.
“So good,” you whisper hoarsely. His eyes meet yours and darken in realization.
You let your leg fall from his shoulder as your fingers find his dog tags, toying with them before gripping them tightly.
Your head lifts as he drops, lips almost meeting in the middle.
He softly brushes your lips over yours; once, twice before claiming them in a kiss. He’s gentle, a little tentative at first, giving you a chance to stop this.
But you don’t want to stop.
Instead, you nip his lower lip, releasing him when he shivers. He sets his hand beside your head, caging you between his strong arms. When you tug on the tags still in your hand, he takes the hint.
The constant noise in your brain quiets as he claims your lips. It could be minutes, it could be hours that pass as months of longing and tension are poured into the kiss the two of you share.
Finally…yet, you want more.
He must be thinking the same since he shifts as you pull; both gasping when he lands in the cradle of your hips.
Your eyes widen in realization as you feel him hot and hard against where you want him most.
“That’s…” you trail off when he gently thrusts, his flight suit shifting lower on his hips so the thin cotton of his boxerbriefs and your shorts separate you, “That’s why you’re called Rooster.”
He chuckles lowly by your ear while angling his hips so you feel all of him.
Yep. That’s why he’s called Rooster.
His mustache brushes the sensitive skin of your neck, and his breath catches as you wrap your legs around his waist.
A moan escapes as you break from his hips to get more air, yet you tighten the hold your legs have on him before guiding him over your clit faster and faster.
“Wait-wai-fuck,” he’s trying to say something into your neck but doesn’t fight your rhythm, instead leaning into it and giving up with a sweet, defeated sigh.
You’re lightheaded from it all; his clean-sweet and jet-fuel smell, the sounds you’re pulling from him, his ruddy-red cheeks, the building pleasure between your thighs.
“I-, I’m-,” you pant, unable to form the words as you approach the edge.
“I know,” he nods into your neck, sounding wrecked as he sloppily kisses your neck, “I know, sweetheart. Me too.”
You gasp softly, hands tightening in his hair as you shudder through your release, vaguely registering Bradley’s low groan in your ear as his cock twitches as he coats the of his boxer briefs.
He presses a quick kiss to your forehead before rolling beside you. His hand finds yours as you both catch your breath.
•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•
Unease and embarrassment at your behavior begin to creep in with the quiet until Bradley breaks the rising tension.
“That was…really hot,” he laughs but then cringes, “and embarrassingly fast.
You can’t help but laugh too, “It’s okay. I liked it.”
“I really like you, Shae,” he turns his head to smile at you.
“I-“ you hesitate, but then remember the conversation with your therapist earlier this week about him.
“I like him,” you admit, “but it’s…isn’t it too soon?”
“That I can’t say,” she replies, “but what I can say is you’re doing everything you should be; seeking help to work through this, taking care of yourself, no longer blaming yourself for the abuse, and you also you started grieving marriage long before it was officially over.”
You nod. It’s true; you knew it was over the first time he hit you.
“Only you can decide if it’s too soon and if you’re ready,” she smiles kindly, “but don’t hold yourself back. You deserve to be happy.”
You take a deep breath.
“I like you too.”
•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•
A/N: so…we find out a little bit more about Bradley in this chapter and the story behind what happened when he and Reese shared a grief-induced kiss. Also drunk Shae spilling all her secrets is 💯 me lol.
It took a few months but they finally kissed…and more 😏 pretty sure I could have an orgasm just from Bradley talking like that, even if it was just to help with a leg cramp haha.
As always, any interaction is appreciated but I LOVE hearing what you think in the comments/reblogs! Seriously, feedback helps me more than anything.
Please let me know if you want to be added to (or removed from) my taglist…and if I forgot to add you-it wasn’t intentional.

Dating Maverick (Headcanons)
Tumblr media
summary: What dating Mav is like. (In ‘86 and in TG:M)
pairing: pete “maverick” mitchell x gn!reader
genre: fluff, a bit of angst
word count: 1278
A/N: if anybody wants a drabble/one-shot or for me to expand on any one of these (or if you wanna just talk about or exchange hcs), drop me an inbox!
-
1986 (and a few years after-ish)
Maverick is a very gentle lover. It didn’t seem so at first, with how cocky and flirty he might’ve been to catch your attention, but after the second date? So vulnerable and soft with you.
He can sing! Like actually super well. You noticed one day and now you ask him to sing when you can’t sleep. He was kind of self-conscious at first, used to singing with Goose in a playful, rowdy manner, as opposed to softly to you. He grew more comfortable as time passed, and now he likes to sing you his mother’s favorite songs.
But also gets incredibly obnoxious sometimes and will loudly impersonate Elvis while you’re trying to get something done.
Spontaneous road trips on his motorcycle (when he’s able). Dinner in Oceanside. Lunch in Palm Springs. A pick up in Vegas. A day in Phoenix. When? Now! Now?!
Knows the Southwest like the back of his hand, actually. It’s not as fun as flying, but driving through the wide, open stretch of desert with you clinging behind him is one of his absolute favorite pastimes.
Is from somewhere in the Southwest, therefore he absolutely hates the cold. Will have the heater on in the winter time and is not opposed to getting wrapped up in blankets by you. You tease him on how easily cold he gets, and he’ll playfully go “Whatever.”
You frequently find random candid photos of you. Taped to his wall, to his fridge, suddenly framed on his bedside table. He almost never mentions them until you laugh and point them out, to which he responds, “I thought you looked pretty there.” (With a shit-eating grin.)
Definitely has one in his F-14, by the way.
Is very stubborn about his attire. Very insistent on dressing like a cowboy at all times. You had to buy him his first pair of beach shorts.
Loves seeing you in his clothes; he’s crazy about it, actually.
Very cute lunch dates. He knows the best diners.
He likes taking you out for ice cream. Sometimes you share a cone and watch the sunset and the planes soaring through the sky.
He’s the best kisser. He prefers soft, sensual kissing and it definitely has its effect on you.
He has a habit of leaving paper planes everywhere. Some with love notes in them, others with funny doodles. Sometimes it’s just both of your names written, a little heart in between.
He rambles a lot. He’s very, very passionate about flying, and about his plane. Though you might not know what he’s talking about, nodding along with a simple smile and asking him a few questions makes him so happy. “Well, no, you see..” And then he goes on and on again.
At the same time, Maverick can be difficult sometimes. Especially after Goose. Sometimes he feels he needs to be alone, but don’t take it personally. He appreciates your support, but he’s been conditioned to “suck it up and move on.” It weighs on him to have to try, so expect him to be a bit quieter at times, a bit slower. You can sit around with him as he sulks, your head on his shoulder to let him know you need him, and that he’s loved. That he doesn’t have to isolate.
You get to watch him visibly becoming Bradley’s father figure.
“Hey, about tomorrow’s date. Can I bring the kid?”
Melting when he’s got Bradley in his lap in front of you, making airplane noises with a french fry to watch Bradley giggle and clap. Your heart swells at how good he is with him.
“Pete.. You can’t take him to watch that movie; it’s not for kids.” His signature grin. “Carole won’t mind.”
-
TG:M
Tumblr media
Still sings to you. Or, in general, really. He likes to hum while making you breakfast.
He writes all your dates on his calendar.
He’s very playful with you. Likes making you double over in laughter because it usually results in you wrapping your arms around him and kissing him.
But he also enjoys when you tease him. Tell him there’s something he can’t do as well as he used to and boy, he will prove you wrong. He insists he’s getting better with age.
He’s still as flirty as ever. Except, you’re already dating, so he does it to watch how flustered you get. He loves making you blush.
He likes pet names. Sweetheart and honey are the ones he calls you the most.
He still does not like proper beach attire. Will roll up his jeans and call it a day.
He loves beach days with you, though. He likes laying back on the sand and watching you sunbathe, or play in the water.
You’re almost scared of phone calls now, with the way you’ve been called and informed of the accidents he’s been in while testing his planes. Though most are minor, you can’t help but worry that the next one might not be.
You’ve cried to him a couple times, making him promise he’ll be careful.
He’s a bigger cuddler at his older age, with the habit of pulling you from where you stand, from whatever you’re doing, and tugging you into bed with him.
He likes it when you play with his hair. It’ll lull him to sleep sometimes. Especially when you gently massage at his scalp, and bonus if you’re giving him kisses too. The fastest way to get him asleep, truly.
Alternatively, he also likes playing with yours. He’ll randomly twirl a strand when you’re in front of him, will tuck another behind your ear, will softly intertwine his fingers in it while you lay on him.
When he’s able, sleeping in together. As often as he can.
He notices you so well. If something is bothering you, he’ll make sure to find out what it is. He’s also a very good problem solver (duh, but with mundane things too). You feel like he deals with a lot, so you don’t always take every single one of your problems to him, but boy, when he figures out something is wrong? Expect him to walk you through the simplest of things if that’s what you need. He has an unbelievable amount of patience with you. And if it’s something he can’t help with, he’ll at least want to be there with you as you deal with it. He can be the best listener if you need him to be.
Is a lot more domestic and able to settle down. Likes the idea of having a “home” with you. (Not that he didn’t when he was younger, but he feels more grounded now. More grown up. Able to breathe a bit better.)
He makes your coffee just the way you like it. If he’s up before you, he always wakes you up with it, and a kiss on the forehead.
The days spent in his hangar.
Sometimes, in the summer, a late night thunderstorm will pass through, and there’s nothing more thrilling than cuddling up to him in the trailer, the both of you giggling at the sound of the rain pattering and the loud cracks of thunder.
But also the days! Though he’ll be occupied with something, you’re always a mere 10 feet away, reading or sketching or entertaining yourself in whatever way you can. Other times you just watch him work. Other times you ask him to tell you his infamous stories, or about his dad. He’ll have sort of a sad smile as he talks, but you know that he loves talking about the past. You make sure to always make room for it in the tranquility of the desert.

Our Little Girl
Masterlist
A/N: Inspired by this clip.
A/N 2: I feel like I rushed the weeks and I'm sorry about that. I don't think this is one of my best fics.
Tumblr media
It was rare for Jake and Bradley to go on deployments without one another but sometimes it needed to be done. This time Jake would be deploying for 2 months to a base overseas in Spain. He hated leaving his family but knew it had to be done. Ice tried to stop it or send both of them or another person or team but whoever ordered it wasn't having any of it. Jake would be deploying with Javy.
They had found out during work while they had just finished doing some run-throughs. Maverick had met both him and Bradley on the tarmac. Bradley had come over to Jake once he was down and finished with his post checks. "What's up, Pops?" Jake asked in a cheery tone Maverick gave a weak smile.
"Cyclone, Ice, and Warlock need to see you both in the conference room." Maverick said
"Mav..." Bradley started and he knew what was coming.
"Who?" Jake asked understanding the tone.
"I can't tell you. Goose and myself will be there." Maverick said and Bradley and Jake looked at each other. They didn't like the sound of this. "Meeting is at 3 PM." Maverick said and thru nodded and then he was leaving.
"What do you think it is?" Jake asked and Bradley shrugged.
"Probably about a deployment." Bradley said
"Do you think it'll be the two of us?" He asked
"Probably, I hope it's none of us. I hope that it's all of us meeting about something new." Bradley said and Jake nodded.
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
3 PM rolled around and they were heading to the conference room, nervous as hell. They walked into the room to see Ice, Goose, Warlock, Cyclone, Maverick, and Javy there. Bradley and Jake looked at each other. Both men took a seat next to their teammate and friend. "Thank you all for coming." Ice starts. "I've called you here because a mission has come up and only two of you will go." He said.
"What are the three of us doing here then?" Bradley asked
"Well, considering that you're Jake's spouse and vice versa I wanted you to hear the news with him." He explained and Bradley nodded "We've decided to send Jake and Javy on this mission." Ice ended and Bradley's heart dropped. He was looking at Jake and saw that he was keeping a straight face but he knew what he was feeling. He silently reached under the table and grabbed his hand and instantly felt him squeeze it.
"When do we leave?" Jake asked
"A week from today." Cyclone said and they nodded.
"Do we know what kind of mission this is?" Javy asked
"You will be gone for at least a month. You'll be in Scotland." Warlock said and everyone nodded. Soon the meeting was over and information was given. By the time they got done talking, they were the only ones left. They went to the locker rooms took showers and got changed as they stood, they began talking.
"I wonder what kind of mission this is." Javy said and the other two males nodded
"I hope it goes by fast. I hate leaving Y/N and Bradley." Jake said
"I hate it too." Bradley said
Now it was time for Bradley and Jake to pick up their daughter from school. Bradley and Jake got into Jake's truck since the Bronco was acting up and headed to your school. It was a silent ride but it wasn't really uncomfortable but filled with thoughts that nobody was saying out loud. "When should we tell her?" Jake asked.
"Maybe after dinner." He said and Jake nodded agreeing with that. They arrived at your school and they saw you before they even got to you. You were standing with your teacher and you were laughing about something, you had the biggest smile on your face. Bradley got out and walked over to you as Jake stayed in the truck and he smiled as you got even happier seeing one of your fathers. He couldn't help but let thoughts get to him.
"They'll be fine if I don't make it back."
"They'll have each other to help each other heal and not to mention all of The Daggers and his parents along with Ice and Mav."
"Jake why are you thinking like this? It could be a very simple and easy mission. You love them too much to leave them you're going to fight to get back to them."
His thoughts were pushed back when he saw Bradley holding you and walking to the truck and he put a smile on his face. Bradley opened the back door "Daddy!" You shrieked and that brought a real smile to his face and he turned around.
"Hey, Sweets! Did you have a good day?" He asked and you nodded.
"But it's better now that I'm with you!" You said excitedly and he knew Bradley had you say that and he looked at him. Bradley had a smile on his face as he was buckling in. He was so grateful for his husband he always knew how to make his day better.
"Well, ours is better now that you're here." He said and reach back and tickled you and you giggled and squirmed.
"You're lucky I've had practice strapping her in while she is moving." Bradley said chuckling and that made Jake chuckle. They both had practice. Once Bradley had you settled in buckled in, he got in the passenger side. Now they had to wait to get out of the pickup line but luckily that didn't take long, before they knew it, they were on their way home.
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
The days leading up to the mission were nerve-wracking the routine never changed but there was some tension in the air that could be felt. Jake had taken on most of the responsibility for you Bradley of course took some too but he knew how important to Jake it was to in as much Sweets time as possible. One night, 3 nights before Jake left, it turned out to be a bad night. It started out good but it just increased into a bad night as the night progressed. It was the weekend so that meant that they didn't have to worry about going to work the next day. Everyone had just finished supper and now it was time to get you in a bath and start winding down for the night. "Alright time to get you in the bath." Jake said and you looked at him and pulled a face.
"No." You said and Jake looked at Bradley.
"Sweets, you've been playing outside all day. You need a bath." Jake said and you shook your head.
"No." You repeated
"Y/N/N listen to your Pops." Bradley said and you looked at him.
"No. I don't need a bath." You said
"Yes, you do." Jake and Bradley said at the same time. You shook your head.
"No." You began crying.
"Sweets, please for us. Take a bath and you can watch whatever you want afterwards." Jake said and you looked up at him.
"Really?" You ask and Jake looked at Bradley and he nodded.
"Really." Jake said and you took a moment to think about it.
"Ok." You said and that made your fathers smile.
"Good. Come on." Jake said and lifted you up and carried you down the hallway while Bradley smiled and cleaned up. The bath turned into play time which resulted in Jake becoming drenched but you thought it was the funniest thing in the world and he let it happen. Finally, after the bath was over, he was drying you off, getting you dressed, and then taking you downstairs to join your other father. He burst out laughing when he saw his husband which made you laugh.
"I see bath time went smoothly." Bradley said chuckling and smirking and Jake playfully glared at him.
"You take her while I shower and get changed." Jake said to a laughing Bradley.
"Did you and Papa have fun?" He asked and you giggled and nodded. "I can see that. Let’s pick out a movie to watch." He said and you nodded as you got settled in. Not long after picking a movie a damp haired Jake came down dressed in sweats and a t-shirt.
"What are we watching?" He asked
"Shrek!" You exclaimed and they smiled and he settled in and the movie began. You three watched Shrek and then you were falling asleep and soon they were taking you to your room and tucking you in for the night. They both decided to go on to bed and watch TV in their room.
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
It was the day that Jake and Javy were leaving for the deployment and you were clinging to Jake like your life depended on it. Instead of them going on a carrier they were being flown to Scotland. "No. I don't want you to go." You said crying into his neck and everyone's heart broke.
"Sweets, I'll be back before you know it. I'll talk to you and daddy every day. Ok?" He asked and you shook your head.
"No, Papa. You no leave!" You exclaimed and some people passing by were looking at the both of you in pity. They knew something was going on especially seeing two men in uniform.
"It'll just be a month. I promise." He said and then he looked at Bradley and nodded. Bradley wrapped his arms around your middle which made you cling to Jake even more.
"It's time to go, Honey." He said and started to use force to get you to release you father and man did you put up a fight. But with Jake prying your arms away from his neck and Bradley holding your middle they were able to get you off him and Bradley doubled down on his strength of holding you so you didn't lunge at Jake.
"I love you, Sweets." He said kissing your forehead and then he kissed Bradley and then he was turning around and heading further into the airport with Javy who had waved at the two of you.
"She going to be, ok?" Javy asked and Jake nodded.
"She will be in a day or two." He replied as they reached security. He had half of mind to turn around and not go but he knew he would be in trouble.
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
It was a silent ride back to the house because you had fallen asleep and Bradley could confirm this, because when he looked up at the first stop light you were out. He smiled and continued driving it was a 2-hour drive back home and that gave him time to think but didn't have long because his phone began to ring and he answered it. Carole's voice sounded through the speakers.
"Hey, how did it go?" She asked immediately.
"She didn't want him to go and fought so hard not let him go. It was heartbreaking." He replied
"How is she doing?" Goose asked
"Sound to asleep. She fell asleep before we even got to the first stoplight." Bradley replied.
"You both want to come over for dinner?" Carole asked
"We would love that. A distraction for her would be great around this time." Bradley replied as he glanced into the review mirror to find you still asleep. "Actually, can we come over now? I think it will hit her again when it is just the two of us home alone." He added.
"Of course! Come on over." Carole said and Bradley smiled.
"We're 10 minutes out." He said
"Can't wait to see you both." Goose said
"We love you both." Carole said and Bradley smiled.
"We love you too." He said and then they both hung up.
10 minutes later they were pulling up to the Bradshaw residence. Bradley parked his Bronco and got out and then worked to get your sleeping form out of your car seat. You only stirred but didn't wake up and that made him smile you could sleep through anything just like Jake despite him being in the Navy. As he got you out the front door was opening to revel your grandparents, he silently closed the door and walked up to them. "She's still out?" Goose asked and Bradley nodded.
"Leaving Jake drained her. I'll wake her up her soon." He said
"Let her sleep. We have all night and it is the weekend." Carole said waving him off as she ushered everyone into the house. "Go put her in her room." She said referring to the room you had here when you slept over for different occasions. That is what Bradley did he walked to your room and took off your shoes and tucked you in with a kiss to the forehead. Once he was satisfied that you were ok, he left the room and walked downstairs into the living room. He hugged his parents and then sat down. "It was bad huh?" She asked and Bradley nodded.
"We were getting sympathy looks from everyone that walked by." He said
"It's tough but they wouldn't be sending them if they didn't think they would be up for it." Goose said and Bradley nodded.
"I know but it doesn't make it any easier." He replied
"None in the slightest." Carole said they continued to talk for about an hour before you started to wake up.
"Daddy?" You asked
"Looks like I'm being summoned." He said and he got up and headed upstairs. His parents smiled at him watching him walk up the stairs to you, his daughter their grandchild. Just hearing him being called 'daddy' makes their heart swell. A few seconds later he was walking downstairs with you in his arms.
"Hey there, Chick." Goose said standing up as Bradley got close enough and took you from his arms.
"Hi, Grandpa Goose." You said and everyone smiled.
"You hungry, Honey?" Carole asked and you nodded laying your head on Goose's shoulder still waking up and they smiled.
"Alright let's get dinner started." Bradley said and everyone went to the kitchen.
"Actually, I have been making her favorite all day. Roast with plenty of potatoes, carrots, and onions." Carole said smiling and being her bright self.
"You knew this would happen, didn't you?" Bradley asked and she smiled and he had his answer.
"I did." She said. Bradley shook his head but grabbed you a plate and began to put some on it and then his. Goose had sat you in a chair and everyone else got theirs and supper began. Small talk was made and then once supper and dessert were eaten you and Bradley were saying bye. Bradley had you in his arms and your head was on his shoulder Carole and Goose followed him out carrying leftovers. "You two going to be, ok?" She asked and Bradley looked at her as they arrived at the Bronco.
"I know I will be but Princess here" He said nodding his head to you "Might not be. You know how she gets one we go on a mission." He said and they nodded.
"You need anything at any time let us know and we'll be there. No matter what time." Goose said and Carole nodded in agreement.
"Thanks, Dad and Mom. Hopefully it'll be a fast mission and he'll be home soon." Bradley said and then he felt your breath even out. "It seems like she's asleep. Time to get her home and into bed." He said and they smiled.
"You go and take care of our granddaughter." Goose said as they both came over and kissed your head and hugged the both of you and Carole kissed her son.
"I will." Bradley said and then started to buckle you in while the food was placed on the passenger side. Once fully buckled in Bradley was getting in the driver's seat and heading home. It was a short drive home and when he arrived, he parked besides Jake's truck and worked on getting you out. There was a garage but it was used as a hang out area but the vehicles could be parked in there if need be. He got you and grabbed the leftovers and headed inside. He placed the food on the counter and carried you up to your room. Not once did you wake up. When he got there, he got you into pajamas and then tucked you in. He took a picture of you tucked in and planned to send it to Jake when he was done. Once he was satisfied, he kissed your head "I love you, Baby Girl and so does Pops." He said and then started to walk out of you room making sure to turn your night light on. He walked out of your room and cracking the door. Bradley walked into the kitchen and put the food in the fridge when his phone began to buzz, he grabbed it out of his pocket and saw it was Jake and smiled and he answered.
"Hey." He said
"Hey, we just got to our place we are staying." Jake said
"How was the flight?" Bradley asked
"It was long but we were first class, I guess that is what happens when the Admiral of the US Pacific Fleet Commander is your family." Jake said chuckling and that made Bradley chuckle.
"You got that right." He said
"How is, Sweets?" Jake asked
"Currently asleep." Bradley said
"Damn, I was hoping to talk to her." Jake said
"Hold on." Bradley said and quickly put him on speaker and sent the photo. "Check your messages." He said and Jake did.
"I'm already missing her and it hasn't even been a full day." Jake said
"If you aren't busy in when it is morning here, I can give you a call and you can talk to her." Bradley said
"Oh, I would love that." Jake said
"What time is it there?" Bradley asked
"Currently 4:30 AM." Jake said
"I should let you go. I'm sure you both have a big day tomorrow." Bradley said with almost sadness in his voice.
"Yea, hey it won't be long. I promise. You and Sweets will get through this together. You also have the squad, our parents, and Pops, Ice, and Slider." Jake said sensing the sadness in his voice.
"Ok ok. I love you." Bradley said and that made Jake smile.
"I love you and Sweets. Give her a kiss for me." He said and Bradley smiled.
"Already done." Bradley said
"Good. Get some sleep, I'll talk to you later." Jake said
"Alright, Babe. Talk to you later." He responded and then they were hanging up the phone.
"Alright, Bradley. You got this. It is only 4 weeks." He said as he headed to bed. He checked on you one more time and then he headed to his and Jake's room and got ready and laid down. He looked at the framed picture of you three, the one where they were both kissing your cheek and you had the biggest smile on your face and eyes closed. "We love you, Jake." Bradley said and then closed his eyes and went to sleep preparing for what tomorrow would come.
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Week 1
The next morning, the start of the first week of Jake's deployment, Bradley was up bright and early, as he normally was, and changed into his gear. He would normally go for a run but since Jake was not at home, he couldn't leave you alone so he would have to do it during lunch at work. It was currently 7:30 AM in California which meant it was 3:30 PM in Scotland. This is the time you usually were getting up and getting ready for school with the help from one of your fathers.
"Daddy?" You asked and he smiled.
"Right on time." He said to himself "Coming, Baby Girl." He said and walked upstairs to your room and he opened the door and smiled seeing you sit up. "Good morning." He said walking into your room.
"Papa?" You asked and he sadly smiled.
"Remember he is going to be gone for 4 weeks." He said and you nodded and he wasn't sure if you understood or not. "Hey, you wanna call him while you get ready for school?" He asked and your face lit up and you nodded and he chuckled "Alright go and pick something out then we'll go and brush your teeth." He said and you were up out of bed so fast picking everything out. He quickly got his phone out and texted Jake.
Bradley: Yup for a video call?
Jake: Always.
Bradley smiled as he looked up and saw that you had dressed yourself in jeans and a shirt that you had gotten recently from Jake. "Hey you wanna talk to Pops?" He asked.
"Yes!" You exclaimed and he chuckled.
"Alright let's get to the bathroom and started doing your hair and teeth." He said and you practically bounced to the bathroom. Once in there he stood behind you as you stood on your stool. He pulled out his phone and clicked on Jake's contact and hit the video call option. He set it up to where you were mostly in the frame and waited for him to answer and almost instantly he answered.
"There is my, Sweets." He said and you lit up as Bradley started your hair.
"Papa!" You shrieked
"Are you behaving for you Daddy?" He asked and you nodded.
"Uh-huh! We had supper at Grandma and Grandpa Goose's house last night." You said smiling.
"You did? I'm sure they loved having you over. Did you have a good time?" He asked and you nodded.
"Yes! I love going over there." You said and they both chuckled.
"Is Daddy doing your hair?" He asked as Bradley started French braiding your hair.
"Uh-huh! Papa what is on your wall?" You asked and he looked over and smiled.
"That is my boy, Freddy! He was here when we got back this afternoon!" He said and he watched your face light up and eyes go big.
"What is it?" You asked in amazement.
"It is called a slug. They are really slimy but harmless." He said getting a close-up of it. "He can do awesome stunts, like this!" He added and showed the slug climbing the wall. "He came like that." He finished and you giggled which made him smile and Bradley as well. "He is killing the game. Look at that height!" He exclaimed and zoomed in on the slug.
"I want one!" You exclaimed and both of your fathers chuckled.
"We'll see about that." Bradley said as he finished off the braid and was checking it over to make sure everything looked good.
"Are you going on about the slug?" Javy asked
"Javy!" You exclaimed and he came into view.
"Is that you, Short Stack?" He asked and you giggled.
"Yes." You said smiling "Papa was showing me his slug friend." You said
"It's cool, isn't it?" He asked and you nodded.
"Yea it is. Well, I hate to cut this short but we have to get Baby Girl's teeth brushed and off to school." Bradley said
"Ahhh man! Well, I'll keep you updated on Freddy! I love you, Sweets. Be good for Daddy." Jake said
"I will, Papa. I love you!" You said
"Love you too, Babe. Be safe." Bradley said
"Love you too. You be safe as well. I'll talk to you later?" He asked and Bradley nodded.
"Sounds like a plan." He said and then they were hanging up the phone.
"Papa has a slug pet. I want one." You said as Bradley was getting your toothbrush ready.
"We'll see about that." Bradley said and you pouted but he gave you your toothbrush and you started to brush your teeth. After that was done you both were heading out to his Bronco and he was taking you to school. He walked you in and gave you a kiss and left you with your teachers and headed back to his Bronco once there he texted Jake.
Bradley: She wants a slug now.
Jake: Haha we can talk about getting her one. They should be easy keepers.
Bradley: Jake
Jake: What? It's just a thought. I love you.
Bradley: We'll talk about it. I love you too.
He then put his phone away and drove to base to start his day. It was going to be a long day. As he parked and started to get out Bob parked next to him and got out. "Good morning." Bradley said.
"Good morning to you too. How is Y/N with Jake gone?" He asked
"We talked to him this morning and it lit her up like a Christmas tree." Bradley said and Bob smiled.
"We need to get her and Mason together one day. It would be a good distraction." Bob said and Bradley nodded.
"They really do like each other, don't they?" He asked and the other male nodded.
"They sure do. It would be crazy if they dated when they got older." Bob chuckled and Bradley nodded as they continued to walk.
"Jake was showing her a slug in their room and now she wants one." Bradley said
"Oh goodness. You going to get her one?" He asked
"We will see about that. Jake said we could talk about it later." Bradley said as they entered the building they continued to talk until they had to start teaching.
When it came to lunchtime instead of eating Bradley decided to go on a run. He would eat later since he didn't have to teach. We went to the locker room and started changing when Mickey walked in "Hey, you not eating?" He asked and Bradley shook his head.
"No, I didn't get to run this morning. I'll eat afterwards." He said
"How is it going without Jake being at home?" Mickey asked
"Surprisingly good at the moment. She got to talk to him this morning so that made her happy." Bradley said as he finished putting on his running shoes.
"Good. It'll go by quickly." He said and Bradley nodded.
"I know that but it's going to seem like forever for her." Bradley said and Mickey nodded.
"I would imagine so. Have a good run." Mickey said as they reached the cafeteria.
"I will. I'll see you later." Bradley said and Mickey nodded and smiled and then he went outside and started his run. When he was done, he went back to the locker room and showered and changed back into his flight suit. He grabbed himself something to eat and went on with his day.
By the time he was ready to pick up, he was exhausted and ready for some cuddle time with you. He didn't stay around long wanting to have you in his arms. He was quick to get to your school and it was fairly quick to get you and then you both were heading home. Just being in the car with you made it all better and then hearing you laugh, which sounded like Jake and sometimes his, made him smile.
When the both of you got home, he kept your mind busy by playing games, watching movies/shows, and food. Each activity he was taking pictures and sending them to Jake who replied each time when he could. By the time you had supper and a bath you were exhausted and out like a light before he could reach your room.
He kept up the usual routine throughout the week. You three talked whenever you could but sometimes Jake ran late at work and it ended up being only one time. But Bradley and he still texted and it was mainly about you and pictures of you.
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Week 2
Going into week 2 was a little easier everybody had kept you busy to the point where you weren't getting distracted by Jake not being there. Of course, you knew he wasn't there but keeping busy took the sting of not having one of your fathers not there. It was early in the morning when Jake texted Bradley.
Jake: Can't make the call this week. Been super busy. Tell Sweets that I will give her an update on out slug friend next week. Hopefully she won't be disappointed. I love you both so much.
Bradley: That's ok. You gotta do what you need. I will tell her and she won't be disappointed she will understand, I promise. She's smart for a 5-year-old. We love you too and be safe.
When Bradley finally walked into your room you were sound to sleep and he smiled. He walked into your room and you sensing he was there woke up pretty fast. "Daddy?" You asked and that made him smile more.
"Hi, Princes." He said and came over and sat on your bed.
"Talk to Papa?" You asked and he smiled sadly at you.
"Not this week, Baby Girl. He has some pretty important stuff that he needs to work on this week." He said and you nodded frowning.
"That's ok. I understand." You said and he smiled.
"How about I cook you breakfast and then drop you off at Grandma and Grandpa's for the day while I go to work?" He asked and you brightened up.
"Ok." You said and suddenly got into gear and he chuckled. Today you had the day off from school because the air went out in the school. They don't know when it will be fixed but they would let the parents know, but that was ok for Bradley because he had some built-in babysitters that would watch you in a heartbeat. He had texted Carole about it and it was an instant "Bring my grandchild over." Which he chuckled at.
When you were somewhat ready to go after having done the stuff you could do by yourself, he helped you with what you needed help with. Then he was loading you up in the Bronco and heading off to the other Bradshaw household. "You be good for Grandma, ok?" He asked and you smiled at him the same smile that Jake had.
"Always, Daddy." You said and he chuckled and then was pulling up into the driveway. He was quick to park and get out and then get you out. He walked up to the front door when it opened and there stood your Grandma smiling and being her energetic self.
"My babies!" She said and opened her arms pulling the two of you into them.
"Hi, Mom." Bradley said
"Hi, Grandma!" You said at the same time as your dad.
"We're going to have a fun day! I convinced Judy to let me keep Mason so he'll be here soon." She said as she pulled away.
"Did you hear that, Y/N/N? Mason is going to be hanging out with you." Bradley said and you got really excited.
"I like him." You said and they both smiled.
"We do too. Now I have to go to work but I'll be back soon I promise." Bradley said as he made the easy transition to Carole. Bradley kissed you on the forehead and then was heading out at the same time Judy was pulling up with Mason.
"Good morning, Bradley." Judy said with a smile and he smiled back.
"Good morning, Judy and Mason." Bradley said
"Hi." Mason said and that made Bradley smile. He also thought about how scary it was that he and Bob looked so identical. Bradley was quick into the Bronco and took one last look at you and saw that you were already playing with Mason and then he was off to work with a smile.
When he got to work, he parked next to Bob's truck and it seemed like he had just gotten there too. Bradley got out and so did Bob. "Hey, Mason get to your mom's?" He asked and Bradley nodded.
"Yup, he and Y/N started playing before I even left." Bradley said
"They're such good friends. How did we ever get so lucky to have kids like that?" Bob asked and Bradley chuckled and shrugged his shoulders as they walked.
"Probably because they have such good parents." Bradley answered
"True. You and Jake are great parents to her." Bob said
"I can say the same about you and Judy. Mason is so much like you. He's just so kind." Bradley said and Bob blushed.
"Thank you." He said as they walked into the building and into the classroom to be briefed on the day. The day dragged on and all he wanted was you and Jake but since Jake was gone for at least two more weeks he just wanted to cuddle with you. The cocky Top Gun students were putting him through the wringer and he was ready strangle them all. By the end of the day all he wanted to do was rush to the locker room shower, pick you up, and go home. But being an instructor of Top Gun it was never that easy. As he finished the day he was being pulled into a meeting with Goose, Maverick, Warlock, Ice, and Cyclone. "This can't be good." He said to himself.
"Lieutenant Commander Bradshaw." Cyclone said and Bradley saluted them.
"Admirals." He said
"Have a seat." Ice said and he took it. He was nervous that something happened to Jake.
"As you know Lieutenant Commander Seresin and Lieutenant Commander Machado are on a month long deployment." Warlock said
"Yes, Sir." Bradley said
"We got word this morning that they will be coming home next week. The base they were having some things to come up and they need to send home everyone deployed there home." Ice said and relief washed over Bradley. He was getting his husband back early and you were getting your other father back.
"When will they be back?" Bradley asked
"By the end of next week." Maverick said and Bradley nodded.
"You're dismissed." Cyclone said and he nodded and saluted them once again and walked out of the room and to the locker room. He showered and then he was rushing out of the locker room to the parking lot and too his Bronco. Everyone else had left so she pulled out his phone and dialed his husband's number and he answered instantly.
"I take it you heard?" Jake said instantly.
"I did. Best news I've heard all day." Bradley said
"What happened?" Jake asked and Bradley sighed.
"Everything. Students wouldn't listen. Jets were breaking down left and right. All I want is you and Y/N home in my arms." Bradley said
"You will have us both at the end of next week. I think we should surprise Sweets." Jake said
"That would be great. You should video call her one last time and give her an update on your slug friend." Bradley said
"I love the way you think. I gotta go but I love you both and can't wait to see you both again." Jake said
"We love you too." Bradley said and then they were both saying their goodbyes and then hanging up.
Bradley laid his head on the head rest and sighed. Then he was sitting up and heading to the other Bradshaw residence. It seemed like forever but he finally got there and was parking in the driveway. He turned off the Bronco and he was heading inside of the house. "Mom, it's just me." Bradley yelled out.
"We're in the living room." Carole's cheerful voice came through and and he was heading in there. "Mason left about 20 minutes ago." She said looking up at him.
"Daddy!" You shrieked out and ran and hugged his legs.
"Hi, Princess." He said and hugging you back. "I would've been here earlier but I got pulled into a meeting." Bradley added.
"I heard. You're dad shouldn't be too far behind you." She said smiling as he sat down. "Stay for dinner?" She asked.
"Only if you're ok with it." He said
"We're always ok with you staying." She said and just then Goose was walking in the door.
"Honey! I'm home!" He said and Bradley smiled and so did Carole. He nudged you and you knew what to do. You ran to him and attacked him with a hug to the legs nearly knocking him down. "Oof. Hey there Chick." He said and they guessed that he picked you up because you giggled and he walked into the living room with you. "Well hello you two." He said.
"Hey, Dad." Bradley said
"Hi, Honey." Carole said
The rest of the night was spent together laughing and supper was dished out and by the end of the night Bradley was carrying a sleeping you out of the house and to the Bronco and then home.
The rest of the week seemed to sail by knowing that Jake and Javy were coming home and he couldn't wait.
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Week 3
Jake and Javy were coming home at the end of the week. Early Monday morning Bradley was up way before you he was too excited to sleep. When it was time for you to get up he already had his phone up and ready. He started the wake up routine and you groggily woke up but perked right up when Bradley said that Jake would be calling this morning. Almost on cue Jake was requesting a FaceTime and Bradley was expecting it.
"Oh where is my slug?" He said energetically and you giggled having remembered it "Not here. Not here. Not here. Not here. Not here." He said as he showed the wall going up to the slug "There he is!" He said and you giggled loving it. "Now where is my Sweets?" He added and you smiled brightly.
"I'm right here, Papa!" You said and Bradley smiled loving the interaction between the two of you.
"You being good for Daddy, Grandma, and Grandpa Goose?" He asked and you nodded as Bradley started on doing your hair.
"Of course, Papa!" You said the two of you talked and Bradley chimed in when he could and when it was getting time to go he wanted to get in one last slug update. It was Sunday which meant that he could stay on the phone longer. As the three of you talked for 2 hours it was time for Jake to go.
"Before we get off of here one last update from Slug Line with Freddy. He has now moved because now I have to stand on a chair." Jake said as he moved to stand up on the chair "Because my slug is now chilling on the ceiling. Gravity ain't no thing #SlugLife." He finished and you burst out laughing. "I love you, Sweets." He said.
"I love you too." You said and then Bradley was telling you to go and get dressed leaving the two of them alone.
"You haven't told her have you?" He asked and Bradley shook his head.
"Nope not a clue. Please be safe. I love you." Bradley said and Jake smiled.
"I'm always safe. I love you too. See you both very soon." He said and then they were hanging up.
Bradley spent the day with you doing anything you wanted just to keep you occupied. Goose, Carole, Ice, and Maverick had all came over and that helped keep you occupied while the sorted everything out for the returned of Jake.
Throughout the week you started to pick up on the energy and knew something was up but you didn't know what. You had to back to school which helped somewhat keep you occupied and it also exhausted you as well. You had talked to Jake everyday which was unusual but you weren't complaining, it may not have been through FaceTime but just hearing his voice put you in a good mood.
By the time Saturday came around Carole and Goose had come over early so Bradley could get a jump start on getting Jake. When you woke up you called out for your Bradley but Goose was rushing in and scooping you up. "Where is Daddy?" You asked.
"He went to get a surprise for you." He said as he carried you out to Carole.
"A surprise?" You asked curious and Carole smiled along with Goose.
"Yup! You'll love this surprise." She said and you giggled and so the morning started with keeping you busy enough until they got back from the airport.
Bradley must've caught every single red light heading to the airport and that frustrated him to no end but he kept his calm and eventually got to the airport where Jake and Javy were waiting at the arrivals. He parked and got out and rushed into his husbands arms. "Hi." Bradley said.
"Hi, Baby." Jake said and then pulled back slightly and kissed him. They broke apart and Bradley greeted Javy.
"Hey, Javy." Bradley said and hugged him.
"Hey, I'm not kissing you." Javy joked and everyone laughed.
"If you do then we are going to have problems." Jake joked and again everyone laughed. The bags were loaded and they were headed back to the Seresin-Bradshaw household. The ride was filled with updates and talking about anything and everything. Bradley gave them updates on you and he finished as he pulled into the driveway next to his parent's car. "We'll worry about the luggage later." Jake said "I wanna see my Sweets." He added and they all got out and walked up to the front door and Bradley opened it. Laughter could be heard and they walked into the living room to see you and messing around his Goose. The looked up and smiled at the three men. "Mind if I help you, Sweets?" Jake said and you froze mind slowly registering that he was there.
"Papa?" You asked turning around and seeing him there, Anything that was in your hand was dropped and you were bolting over to him and into his legs and he was instantly picking you up and hugging you tightly.
"Hi, Angel." He said using another of your nicknames.
"Hi, Munchkin." Javy said when you turned to look at him and waved at him excitedly.
"Uncle Javy!" You yelled and he came over and hugged while you were still in Jake's arms. "Missed you both." You said and they smiled.
"We missed you too." Jake said Goose and Carole came over and gave them both a hug but you weren't letting Jake go. You stayed in his arms or by his side the entire day going into the night the only time you were away from him was when he went and changed and got everything out of the Bronco. Bradley offered to drive Javy home and he excepted it. Carole and Goose had gone home to give the three of you some time alone. While it was just you and Jake you gave him the rundown of your time away from and he listened happily.
When Bradley returned he found the two of you cuddled on the couch watching one of your shows and both sound to sleep. He debated on either waking you both up and leaving you two, he chose the first option. "Baby, let's get you to bed." Bradley said shaking Jake who gradually woke up and smiled at his husband and nodded. He gently picked you up and you snuggled into him. They stopped by your room and dropped you off.
"Papa?" You asked
"Yes Angel?" He asked
"Can we get a slug?" You asked tiredly and Jake looked at Bradley.
"We'll talk about it." Bradley said and you seemed satisfied with that answer because you rolled over and went to sleep. Jake kissed your forehead and so did Bradley and then they were heading to bed.
"I'm ready for my own bed." Jake said
"I'm ready to have you in my arms." Bradley said and Jake chuckled. They both got changed and slid into bed and into each other's arms. "I missed you." Bradley said.
"I miss you too." Jake replied and after a beat of silence he got the signature Seresin smirk on his face.
"Oh no. What is it?" Bradley asked
"Soooo about that slug..." Jake trailed off and Bradley rolled his eyes but smiled.
"We'll talk about it in the morning." Bradley said and Jake seemed satisfied because he nodded and snuggled into him.
"I love you." Jake said
"I love you too." Bradley replied and they both fell asleep.
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Jake was safely back with his family and that is all he could ask for. A week later you did end up getting a slug and named it Freddy 2. Freddy 2 is still alive and slugging away but you ended up getting bored with it and it became Bradley and Jake's responsibility.

“Okay, you know this is actually really stupid.” You complain, curled up in the backseat of Carole’s car. “Everyone else wants to sleep together, why can’t we?”
“You know how the guys are,” Ice huffs from the other end of the phone. “They’re turning it into a competition.”
“Yeah, and who’s idea was it?” You scoff. “Maverick’s. He’s single and an asshole, he doesn’t have any stake in the game, of course he would propose something like this.”
Something like this being, for your autumn break trip to a cabin, sleeping arrangements are all girls together, and all boys together. Despite the fact, that the trip is made up of some of the soccer team, and their girlfriends. Mav even thought it would be funny to have whoever caves first, buy everyone dinner on the last night.
You sigh loudly, ignoring Carole’s chuckle from the driver’s seat. Her and Goose finally got their shit together, and they’ve been happily dating since summer.
“And of course you won’t crack, because you love to win.” You whine pitifully, more to yourself than your boyfriend. “I’ll see you when we get there.”
You hang up and shove your phone into your purse, leaning your head against the window, watching a flurry of orange as you pass a multitude of trees.
Not much more time passes before you’re pulling up at the cabin, clearly the last ones there, if the amount of cars shoved into the dirt driveway, is anything to go by.
Ice, Goose, and Slider are quick to come out and help with the bags in the back of Carole’s trunk.
“Hiya honey,” Goose greets, before dipping Carole in a dramatic kiss. You turn to see Ice, and pout, before falling into his arms.
“Hey baby,” He murmurs, pressing a kiss at your hairline.
“Icey,” You whine. “Missed you.”
“Pretty girl.” He coos. “I missed you too.”
Following a week of mid-terms, you’d barely gotten to see your boyfriend. Both of you had stacked schedules with exams and papers, and Ice had a big game right before break began. You were looking forward to a long weekend with him, snuggled into his arms while you sleep, the way you hadn’t been able to.
His arms squeeze easily around your waist, and he lifts you a bit until you can’t help but smile. You fist your hands in the material of his sweatshirt.
“Was lookin’ forward to sleeping with you this weekend.” You tell him quietly. “I didn’t sleep well last week.”
“I know, me too.” He says, lips at your temple. “I’m sorry angel.”
“Not your fault your friends are stupid.”
He chuckles, squeezing you one more time before setting you down. He grabs your duffel bag and purse, waiting for you to shut your car door, before heading inside.
“Carole and I are sharing a room, I think,” You frown. “That’s what Marcy said in the group chat.” Marcy, Slider’s girlfriend, was also very upset about the sleeping arrangements, had coordinated which room everyone is staying in. Your boyfriend nods and continues in, before stopping at a room and gently setting your bags down.
You notice two beds, neither much bigger than a twin, but still an upgrade from the college dorm bed Ice had snuck in, to share with you countless times the previous year.
“Look baby,” You whine. “We could totally fit in here, you always cuddle up anyway.”
“I know, sweet girl,” He soothes with a kiss to your temple.
Carole comes in a second later, Goose rolling her suitcase while she spouts similar complaints that you had.
“Just because Mav isn’t getting any, doesn’t mean he has to ruin it for the rest of us.” She huffs, crossing her arms against her chest. Goose barely bites back his snort, throwing his head back in laughter before Carole sticks a withering glare on him.
You nod in agreement, turning towards her. “That’s what I was just telling him, I mean why did anyone invite him anyway? He’s fucking annoying.”
“Okay,” Ice warns softly. “Not that I don’t currently share the sentiment, but Mav’s room is right down the hall and I’m sure he can hear us.”
You roll your eyes but oblige, leaning into him. “Are we allowed to sit together on the couch at least?”
Tumblr media
You packed everything you need for your night time routine and to sleep. Your face is washed, teeth are brushed, and now you’re scrolling on your phone, trying to chill before bed. Carole had long snuck out of your room and into Goose’s—you wish your boyfriend didn’t take everything so seriously. Goose laughed in Mav’s face when he proposed the competition—so it’s too quiet and you don’t have anyone to talk to. Right in the middle of your scroll through Tik Tok, your phone buzzes with a text.
I miss u
You smile, imagining your boyfriend curled up in his bed, missing you enough to send you text.
Come in
You respond.
Carole left. We can push the beds together :)
He sends back:
We don’t need that much room.
Less than a minute later, your door is being pushed open and your boyfriend, clad in boxers and an old crewneck is suddenly sliding in behind you, arms circling your waist.
“Missed you.” He mumbles into your neck, the tip of his nose cold against the skin.
“You’re not allowed to agree to any of Mav’s dumb bets, ever again.” You grumble. “Last time you had to bleach your hair and now this.”
“I know baby,” He coos. “No more, I promise.”

i’ll let you know tomorrow.
Tumblr media
pete ‘maverick’ mitchell x f!reader
summary: maverick is enamored with a new lady at the bar. turns out rooster talked mav up earlier.
t/w: brief mention of an age gap, alcohol, cursing maybe?
“Hey Mav, you got a little drool,” Hangman tells him, gesturing to his mouth with his beer bottle.
Maverick knew he was staring. He just didn’t realize how obvious he was being about it. The moment you stepped into the bar, Maverick was gone. He hasn’t been able to take his eyes off you.
Rooster follows his godfather’s gaze, smiling upon seeing you. He’d met you earlier, a new computer engineer on base. Rooster knew Maverick would insta-fall in love with you.
You were absolutely Maverick’s type. So much so that Rooster didn’t think he’d be able to utter a word to you. He’d never seen his godfather so speechless. The man was practically undressing you with his eyes.
“Are you going to go talk to her? or just stare like a creep?” rooster asks.
maverick runs a hand over his face, about to accept defeat. “I don't even know what I'd say to her.”
Hangman rolls his eyes. “Grow a pair, Pops. I just might beat you to her.” Mischief dances in Hangman’s eyes, like he knew all Mav needed was a little competition.
Maverick meets Rooster’s eyes. “Maybe she’s lost that lovin’ feelin’?”
“Oh no, she hasn’t.” Rooster vehemently shakes his head, backing up from his godfather. Roos heard the story time and again from his mom. Ice shared it with her shortly after Goose’s death, hoping it would bring a smile to her face.
It did.
“Come on, your old man used to back me up. Now it’s your turn.”
Maverick hadn’t used this tactic on a lady since Charlie. It felt pretty sacred to her, and Nick. He wasn’t sure if he kept it filed away for so long for her sake, or Nick’s. With Rooster standing here, and Charlie happily married in D.C. he thought, what the fuck?
“We gotta help her find it,” Maverick pleads, praying Rooster caves before someone like Hangman steals her away.
Maverick gives Rooster his best pleading eyes. He has no idea who that girl is, but he can’t let her get away. He can’t bear to see Hangman with her.
Rooster throws back the remainder of his beer, silently conceding. Maverick jumps into the plan, effortlessly explaining everything as if he does this all the time.
As Maverick and Rooster perform for you, Mav immediately takes note of the pretty flush that dusts your cheeks. He wonders how many other ways he could make you blush. Catching Rooster’s eyes, Mav sees a ghost. For a brief moment, Maverick isn’t performing this schtick with Rooster, but rather his father. Bradley looked a lot like Carole when he was younger, but as he’s grown up, he’s Nick Bradshaw made over.
After the last note, Maverick holds your eyes, raising a brow. The smirk you grant him makes him weak in the knees as you pat the empty barstool to your left. Maverick smiles thanks to Rooster and Rooster retreats to the pool tables.
Up close, Maverick sees you’re much younger than he thought. Maybe even younger than Rooster. You don’t seem to mind though, Maverick taking note of how your body angles more toward him. He also notices the cocktail in front of you.
At least 21.
“You must do that all the time to have it so perfected,” you tease. Mav takes a swig of his beer, quickly glancing at the dagger squad. Rooster shoots him a thumbs up, while Coyote and Hangman make obscene gestures. He’ll have the two of them pay for that, of course.
“Ah, nah. This is only the third time. First two weren’t very successful,” Maverick tells you, following your lead by leaning a little closer to you. He figures he can blame the loud music for needing to invade your bubble.
“How’s this one going?” you ask.
“I’ll let you know tomorrow morning, but it’s looking pretty good so far.” He fixes you with the cocky smile of the 24 year old who last uttered the line.
“Is that right, Captain?” you quip. Mav’s eyebrow quirks in surprise that you know his rank.
“Your son told me all about you this afternoon during our meeting,” you gesture toward the squad.
Son.
Bradley referred to himself as Pete’s son. The feeling in his stomach almost rivaled the one you cause, your eyes silently begging for Maverick to get you out of this bar.

Day 14: I Remember Everything
Pairings: Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell x fem!reader
Synopsis: Both you and Maverick are struggling with the loss of Goose. Based on the Zach Bryan And Kacey Musgraves song ‘I Remember Everything’.
Warnings: Alcoholism, death, tears, bad coping mechanisms, break-ups & feeling of abandonment.

Tumblr media
Ever since your boys went off to Top Gun, you couldn’t wait to see them. So, when family week rolled around, you, along with Carole and Bradley, boarded the plane together. Carole was ecstatic to have her sister-in-law joining her on the flight. It gave her someone to watch Bradley while she snuck in a few hours of shut-eye. You couldn’t wait to see your big brother. However, Goose wasn’t the only one you were excited to see. For the past three years, you and Maverick had been dating.
Throughout their time in Fighter Town, you had heard all about your boyfriend’s rivalry with Iceman. You remembered him from Goose’s time at the academy. You found that he was a lovely person. So lovely, in fact, that you went out with him for the entire time Goose was at the academy. You wouldn’t put his competitive side past him. Even if Maverick was stretching the truth just a little bit. You never imagined that the competition between them would escalate to where it was now. As far as you had been told, it was a healthy, safe competition. Now, however, you wanted to smack both Iceman and your boyfriend upside the head.
Your older brother was the most important person in your life. He had practically raised you. You could vividly remember crying for weeks when he left home for the academy. When Maverick and Goose had first been paired together, you had sat the rebellious pilot down and told him that while Goose trusted him, you weren’t so convinced. In that moment, Maverick promised you that your brother would always return safely to his family. Three months later, Mav took you out on your first date.
Maverick had quickly gained your trust. You soon came to learn that you and your brother were the only family that he had. That only helped to prove the fact that Maverick would sacrifice himself in a heartbeat for either of you. For that, you were immensely grateful.
Given their job, you understood that there was a large risk factor. However, you knew how good of a pilot your boyfriend was. If he had any control over the situation, everything would turn out okay. Even though you trusted him, you knew that sometimes, he didn’t trust himself. When he was up in the air, it was like he was flying against a ghost. You knew exactly whose ghost that was.
Mav had always thought that he was a disappointment, purely because he was his father's son. He had always been told that he would never amount to anything, all because of his last name. You saw how hard he worked to prove them wrong. That was one of the things you loved about him. No matter how many times he got pushed down, he always got back up.
This time, however, was shaping up to be very different than the others. This time, there was no going back.
Before they left for Top Gun, you had told Maverick about your ex. After all, you were pretty sure that he would be there as well. Oh, how right you were. It was just your luck that the two of them would end up going head-to-head for first place. At the beginning, you were thrilled with the idea of Mav and Goose getting to go to Top Gun. Now, you would give anything to keep them from ever getting a chance.
Only a few days after you had arrived for family week, there was a tragic accident. Maverick and Ice were tied for first and you knew that both of them would do whatever they could to win. What you didn’t know was that ‘whatever they could’ would come with a grave cost.
When you had first heard the news, you collapsed. You had lost your brother. The one piece of your family you had left and he was gone. Unsurprisingly, Maverick had turned into a mess. Goose was like the brother that he never had. Regardless of whose fault it was technically, Maverick would never stop blaming himself. Needless to say, Mav wasn’t handling the situation very well. Even Carole seemed to be having a better time coping with the tragic loss of her husband.
While a large part of you felt so sorry for your boyfriend, the other part wished he would open his eyes. He wasn’t the only person that lost somebody. But he was sure acting like he was. Carole had lost a husband. Bradley had lost a father. You had lost a brother. And yet none of that seemed to matter to your grieving boyfriend. To him, he was the only person that lost Goose. He began drinking his troubles away, not a single thought as to what all of this was doing to you.
Now, you were sobbing in the bedroom you shared with Maverick. He hadn’t been at the past few days of training, spending all of his time in the bar. With your boyfriend off god-knows-where, you couldn’t help but miss everything that the two of you used to have. Late nights spent cuddled up on that old ratty couch, Mav whispering sweet nothings in your ear the whole time flooded your mind as you continued to sob.
Goose wasn’t just your boyfriend, he was your best friend. A few days after the accident, the pain had worn off. Now, all you felt was numb. While Maverick had drinking, you had nothing. You had nothing to make that feeling go away. Through your tears, you finally came to a horrible realization. Your loving boyfriend was gone. He died in the same accident that your brother did.
You couldn’t stay with him anymore. Not if it was going to be like this. Was Maverick hurting? Of course he was. But were you also hurting? Yes. In the aftermath of the accident, you had assured Maverick again and again that you were there for him. That you would be the shoulder he could lean on should he need somebody. Instead, he had turned to drinking, leaving you with no shoulder at all.
Sniffling, you wiped your nose on the back of your hand and stood up from the bed on shaky legs. You hadn’t left the bed all day. Picking up the phone, you tried to call the bar where you figured Maverick was. When the bartender picked up and tried to hand the phone to Mav, your boyfriend refused to talk to you. The phone dropped out of your hand as you stared straight ahead. That was the straw that broke the camel's back.
Numbly, you began packing your bags. You had very few clothes, but you threw all of them into a bag with little to no order. Soon enough, your bags were packed and you were slamming the door of Maverick’s base housing. Time seemed to fly as you called a taxi to the airport and bought a ticket home. Sure, Carole and Bradley were still here, but you had no reason to stay. You would have loved to stay for Maverick’s graduation. However, you just couldn’t bring yourself to wait around for someone that was long gone.

Ocean of Love [icemavgoosecarole] - Prologue & Chapter 1
Tumblr media
Out of nowhere, I started another fic. Whoops! It's Ice x Mav x Goose x Carole - a pairing so rare you can't even filter for that on ao3 but it tickled my interest. So here we are, if anybody else is interested, too.
The Prologue is inspired by this post btw!
Fanfic Summary: Goose, Mav and Carole are a polycule. Then Ice comes into the picture, too, and becomes Mav's boyfriend. It doesn't take long until Mav introduces Ice to the group.
Pairing: Pete "Maverick" Mitchell x Tom "lceman" Kazansky x Nick "Goose" Bradshaw x Carole Bradshaw.
Content/warnings: 18+, polycule, no cheating, no jealousy, everyone lives, smut, fluff, probably not much plot, 80s.
About the Chapter: Mav introduces Ice to the polycule (just fluff and kissing).

I would like to share the carole x charlie x penny agenda. I have no idea how it would work in canon, maybe Goose lives and gets a job in DC but him and Carole don't work out and get divorced, Carole gets with Charlie and Goose either gets a transfer to somewhere else and ends up with Slider (maybe Mav too, Ice if he's up to it). Penny's dad was transferred to DC but got ill, she goes to care for him and ends up meeting Carole again and is introduced to Charlie and they all mutually fall in love. Bradley ends up with like 7 parents lol
AHHHHH okay that's great 👀 the slider/goose/ice/mav isn't my jam but on the other hand carole/penny/charlie have me👀👀👀
Maybe it goes after Goose survives hop 31 and things are a little strained because he does want to keep working in the Navy and Carole doesn't so maybe they find a compromise? And move upstate and Carole is happy but Goose not particularly because he misses the ocean and so they split, even if they tried really hard not too, and Carole finds Charlie in the most random of places, in a library, and a thing gets to the other and they statt dating.
And maybe Penny is young, on her twenty, and bright eyes because she just got in to college/come for her dad and she knows these two women because Mav talked about Goose and Carole to an extent and her dad couldn't stop talking about how lucky they were to have Charlie teaching, so when she meets them she is a little shy because they are older, more experienced and with at least ten years on her. She gets a little hot and bothers by the whole thing, but she likes them both sooo much she just has to try, doesn't she?
And yep, Bradley passes from divorced parents to her mother and her two girlfriends and his dad and his boyfriend (both still in the Navy) AND and uncle and his boyfriend that basically make seven parents. *pat pat* to teenager Bradley.

Who has the cold feet in the relationship? (Featuring GooseCarole & IceMav)
GooseCarole- Carole definitely. She uses Goose as a pillow and a hot water bottle whenever he's home. He grits his teeth and withstands it because he's a good husband (and Carole gets grumpy with him if he doesn't even though he thinks she's adorable when grumpy)
IceMav- Iceman. It's in his name! Mav doesn't stand for it so subconsciously steals all the covers instead. This backfires as Iceman just cuddles closer, with his iceblocks for feet, so Mav pulls away. This continues until Mav falls out of bed

Where My Christmas Lives
“Your mom really thought of everything. I can’t believe she planned this trip for us a year ago,” you smiled, resting your head on Bradley’s shoulder as you watched the snow fall outside the taxi on your way to the Kazansky’s cabin in Lake Tahoe a few days before Christmas.
Bradley squeezed your hand and kissed the top of your head. “Mom always liked a white Christmas,” he mused, looking out the window as the car came to a stop. As you gathered your things and climbed out, Iceman exited the cabin to settle the fare with the driver.
“Come on inside, it’s cold out here,” Ice offered, helping Bradley carry your bags into the cabin. Once inside, he hugged you tightly, pressing a kiss to your temple. “Let me get a look at you two,” he said, turning to shake Bradley’s hand. “Every time I see you, I see more of Goose. You’re just missing that ridiculous mustache he always wore.”
“I don’t think I can pull off that look.” Bradley laughed, returning the firm handshake.
“Never can tell,” he said knowingly, motioning toward the living room. “Go make yourselves comfortable, I’ll take your bags upstairs.”
Bradley dropped onto the couch with a sigh as Ice disappeared up the staircase, leaving the two of you alone in the living room. “Come sit with me,” he mumbled, eyes sliding closed as he patted his thigh and held a hand out for you.
You had wandered across the room, looking at various pictures and decorations around the cabin when Bradley's voice met your ears. Taking a few steps back toward him, you accepted his outstretched hand and let him pull you onto his lap, his strong arms encircling you. “Tired?” You asked, reaching one of your hands up to card through his hair gently, your nails brushing against his scalp.
He nodded, relaxing under your touch. There was a long moment of quiet before he spoke, his voice low. “Is it wrong I'm glad we're here instead of home for Christmas?”
Shaking your head, you frowned only briefly. “Mama Carole knew, I think. That's why she planned this,” you explained, resting your head on his shoulder. “I'm glad we're here too. And hopefully Uncle Pete makes it.”
Iceman smiled at the young couple as he came back downstairs, heavy footsteps making his presence known so he didn't startle them. “Sarah and the kids will be back from the store soon, so enjoy the peace and quiet while you can,” he warned, crossing through the room toward the kitchen. “Planned on making steaks and potatoes for dinner, take advantage before it starts snowing again.”
“Sounds great,” Bradley replied, finally opening his eyes and looking up at the Captain you both thought of as a surrogate uncle. “Need any help?”
“You two relax, you're our guests. If you wanna do something, help entertain the kids. They're a handful.”
You nodded but didn't have a chance to reply before the front door opened and two small children came barrelling into the living room, calling your names. Dropping a kiss to Bradley's cheek, you managed to slide off his lap just in time for the kids to jump on both of you.
“Hey guys! You got so big!” You smiled, hugging Ice’s four-year-old daughter Katie tightly. The last time you had seen them was over a year earlier at Ice’s promotion to Captain, before Carole was diagnosed.
The kids switched places after a moment, scrambling over you and Bradley like a jungle gym. Jack, the six-year old boy, bounced on the couch excitedly and tugged on your hand. “Can we build a snowman? Daddy said you’d help!”
You shared a look with Bradley, seeing the smirk that pulled at the corner of his mouth as you silently asked him to join you. “We’d love to,” he replied, lifting Katie into his arms as he stood from his seat.
Jack jumped down and ran to the back door, you and Bradley close behind him. Once you were outside, he set Katie down and let the kids get started on the snowman as he passed you his gloves.
“I’ll be okay,” you promised, only to have him slide them onto your hands one at a time. “Bradley…”
“Your fingers will freeze off,” he argued, giving you a quick peck on the lips before nudging you toward the stairs. “Go on, I’ll be right there.” He chuckled at the roll of the eyes you gave him before stepping off the deck, looking back over his shoulder when he heard Ice step out of the cabin. “Hey, I was hoping to talk to you for a minute.”
The older man nodded as he started up the grill, a plate of steaks and potatoes sitting on the table beside him. “Sure, what’s up, kid?”
Bradley pushed his hands into his pockets and moved closer. “I need a letter of recommendation for the Naval Academy, and I…” he hesitated briefly before continuing. “I was hoping you’d write one for me.”
“Why not ask Maverick?” he asked, curious as to the answer. He had a feeling that he knew, given the discussions he had with you over the past few months regarding the tension between Maverick and Bradley, but he wanted to hear the teen’s explanation.
“He doesn’t want me to join up. My mom wasn’t thrilled about it either,” Bradley sighed, shaking his head. “But it’s my life, and I wanna fly, like you, Mav and my dad.”
Ice nodded and looked out to the yard where you and his children were working on your snowman. “Does she know?”
“She knows I’m applying, yeah. We haven’t really talked about flying yet though,” he explained, his eyes moving to watch you as well. “I don’t know how she’d take it, she worries like crazy over Mav.”
“Would it stop you? If she said she didn’t want you to?” Ice asked, putting the food on the grill before leaning against the railing of the deck and studying him closely.
Bradley was quiet for a moment as he considered the question. He hadn’t thought about it before, what he would do if your reaction to his wanting to be an aviator was not what he wanted to hear. “I don’t know. Probably not. We’d just… have to work it out.”
Crossing his arms over his chest, Ice sighed and gave him a look. “I’ll write you the letter, Bradley, but you need to have a conversation,” he said firmly. “I can see the way you look at her. Your mom saw it too, long before it was real.”
“She did?” He asked, pulling his eyes away from you and looking back to Iceman.
He nodded, clapping the younger man on the shoulder as he returned his attention to the grill. “She was always saying you two would end up together.” He flipped the steaks over and turned back to Bradley. “It’s not fair to either of you to assume she’s on board with whatever you wanna do with your future. You have to take each other into consideration. Got it?”
“Got it,” Bradley nodded, moving toward the stairs to join you and the kids building the snowman. “Thanks, Ice.”
Iceman waved him off, continuing to grill while watching the four of you finish the snowman in the middle of the yard. It was a little lopsided, but his kids cheered when Bradley lifted the head on top and put his baseball cap on it, finding a couple of dark colored rocks to work as eyes.
After dinner you helped Sarah put the kids to bed while Ice and Bradley cleaned up the kitchen. When all the chores were done, you found your boyfriend sitting on the back deck beside the fire pit as a light snow fell around him. Grabbing a blanket, you stepped out and sat beside him, wrapping it around both of you.
“Penny for your thoughts?” You asked quietly, nuzzling his cheek with your nose.
He looked over to you, offering a small smile. “Hey, Dimples. I was just thinking about you.”
“Oh? Good things, I hope.”
“Always,” he said, kissing your temple. There was silence for a moment before he spoke again. “We need to talk, though.”
You frowned, the tone of his voice sparking a bit of anxiety. “Okay… is everything alright?”
He took your hand beneath the blanket and laced your fingers together. “I’ve told you I want to go to the Naval Academy after I graduate. I talked with Ice earlier about writing a letter of recommendation for me.” You responded with a simple nod, allowing him to continue uninterrupted. “I want to be an aviator. I know you get anxious about Maverick flying, so I just…”
Before he could finish, you cut him off with a soft kiss, your free hand lifting to rest on his jaw. “I support you, no matter what,” you whispered, looking into his eyes. “I can go to the University of Maryland and we can visit when you get leave. We’ll make it work, Bradley.”
“Really?” He asked, resting his forehead against yours. “What about you? Being with a Navy man isn’t easy, I don’t want you giving your dreams up for me.”
You shook your head, closing your eyes and kissing him again, long and slow. When you finally parted, you squeezed his hand, offering a smile. “You’ll be in the Academy for four years, I’ll have time to go to school myself, don’t worry,” you explained. “Bradley… as long as I have you, and we’re happy, that’s enough for me.”
“You’re incredible, you know that?” he smiled, tucking a strand of your hair behind your ear.
“I’m really quite something,” you teased, kissing him once again before standing and offering your hand to him. “C’mon, let’s get some sleep, the kids already have plans for us tomorrow.”
Bradley accepted your hand after turning the gas on the fire pit off, letting the flames die down. Standing, he wrapped his arms around you and kissed your neck. “Sounds great. I’m glad we came out here this year.”

Tumblr media
Dedicated to @skiddit, @optimisticmiraclecolor, and other members of the slider slut society.
Song- champagne and sunshine by plvtinum ft. tarro
Pairing- ron 'slider' kerner x female! reader
Warnings(s)- 18+, MDNI, degradation, full-on smut, dirty talk, slider calling himself daddy, p in v, aftercare
Summary- slider goes absolutely feral when he sees the reader in a sundress.
Wordcount- 1,473
After a day of training in the hot San Diego weather, some of the boys decided to go to the O-Bar to grab some cold drinks to cool them out and to also let go of some stress. While Hollywood and Wolfman grabbed the drinks, Maverick, Iceman, Slider, and Goose sat around the tables talking about their plans for the weekend.
“So Carole’s wondering if you guys are still down to have a little barbeque at our place tomorrow,” Goose started the conversation.
“Yeah, Y/N and I are already planning on bringing something,” Slider nodded his head.
“Oh, how are you two doing?” Ice asked his RIO.
“We’re good,” the RIO smiled. “Really good.”
As Hollywood and Wolfman returned with the cold drinks in their hands, Slider started to gush about his partner not knowing that Y/N just arrived. Adjusting the straps of her dress and fixing her hair, she walked into the bar to see some Top Gun students eyeing her down, planning a plan on how to get her in their beds at the end of the evening. Y/N ignored their looks and headed straight to the table where her boyfriend and his friends sat.
“Sorry, but is this seat taken?” Y/N wrapped her arms around Slider.
“Only for you,” Slider smiled as he pulled Y/N by her waist and pulled her into his lap.
“Y/N, nice of you to join us,” Mav smiled.
“Yeah, I just need a drink after the busy day I had,” Y/N took a sip out of Slider’s drink and looked at Goose. “By the way, I got the thing you and Carole needed for tomorrow.”
“Thank you,” Goose thanked Y/N.
“It’s no problem,” Y/N smiled as she laid her head on Slider’s shoulder.
Throughout the two hours they were there, Y/N was laughing and enjoying the conversations that were happening while Slider was distracted with his own thoughts and the sundress Y/N was wearing. The floral sundress fell above her knees while the dress slit went mid thigh giving Slider easy access. The sweetheart neckline showed the right amount of breast while her collar bone was exposed which Slider wished to trail all of his hickies all over her body. The tie straps will make it faster for him to rip the dress off of her when they get home.
While Y/N was in a conversation with Ice, she felt Slider put his hand on her thigh where the slit was and started to ride his hand up. Y/N bit the inside of her cheek as she felt the tingling feeling. As Slider made it up her dress, he used his two fingers to open the fold and started to rub her clit. Y/N tried to remain calm and interested in the conversation while fighting the urge to let out a moan.
“Y/N, are you okay? You’re looking a little blushed,” Hollywood questioned.
“Yeah, it’s just a little hot,” Y/N let out a chuckle.
“Well then gentlemen, I’m going to take this lady home and cool her down,” Slider announced while removing his hand from under her dress. “We’ll see you tomorrow.”
All of them said their goodbyes and Y/N and Slider went to where Slider’s truck was parked. Slider helped her into the truck since it was slightly elevated and closed the passenger door before getting into the driver’s seat.
“You’re an asshole you know?” Y/N slapped his arm.
“How am I?” He questioned.
“That thing that you did while we were inside,” she explained, slightly frustrated. “What would happen if anyone saw it? Especially the guys.”
“And I will kill them if they mention it,” Slider placed a kiss on Y/N’s lips. “Damn, it’s hot when you're frustrated.”
“Just shut up and take us home,” Y/N whined.
“As you say,” Slider winked.
He pulled the truck out of the parking space and made the fifteen minute drive to their house. Throughout the drive, the sexual tension was tense as Slider kept on guiding his freehand up Y/N’s thigh. Y/N let out a tiny moan which Slider smirked at when he pulled into their driveway. Getting out of the car, Slider quickly locked the car as Y/N opened the front door. When the two of them got into the house, they closed the door and hurried to their bedroom.
Y/N let out another moan as her back was against the wall while Slider started to place kisses along her neck and neckline. Ripping her underwear off and moving the dress slit away, Slider inserted his fingers into her again while rubbing the clit. With his free hand, he started to untie one of the straps of her dress while Y/N helped with the other one.
“Fuck, you’re gorgeous,” Slider groaned as her dress fell exposing her breasts.
Removing his fingers, he let the dress fall to the floor and looked at the expression that was shown on Y/N’s face. With a satisfied look on his face, he picked her up and placed her on the bed while towering over her giving her a nod. Y/N started to unbutton his uniform while kissing him and placing kisses along his neck. Throwing the button up onto the floor, Slider quickly tossed his white beater off leaving his dog tags on. Kneeling onto the bed now, Slider started to place kisses along Y/N’s bare body as she quickly took his pants off. Taking off his underwear, Y/N cupped his crotch for a few seconds before starting to stroke his cock. Slider soon got on top of her as his dog tags dangled above her face with her eyes pleading.
“You want it don’t you?” Slider’s voice went down an octave as he went closer to her ear to whisper the last part. “You dirty, little slut.”
Y/N let out a whimper while also nodding her head yes.
“Oh no, I need a verbal answer,” the RIO tilted her chin up so he could see her.
“Yes!” Y/N moaned and whimpered. “Please! I need it!”
“Oh wait for Daddy,” Slider smirked as he began to go down. “I’ll fill you up soon you little whore.”
Slider started to place kisses along her legs and inner thighs. Y/N gripped the bedsheets as her back arched while letting out some small moans. Taking one of her hands, Y/N gripped onto his hair as he continued to eat her out.
“Are you ready?” Slider asked.
“Yes, please!” Y/N screamed out.
With that answer, Slider started to tease her a little while misplacing his cock which caused Y/N to moan more. Soon he inserted it in and started to slowly thrust into her. Moans filled the room as each thrust quickened. Y/N wrapped her legs around her partner’s waist while he kissed him passionately.
“Ron,” Y/N moaned. “I’m about-”
“No, not yet.” Ron started to do some of his final thrusts.
In his final thrust, the two moaned out their names so loud that the whole neighborhood could hear it. Slider collapsed next to Y/N who were both a sweaty mess as they panted.
“Fuck, that was,” Y/N panted.
“Amazing,” Slider completed. “I’ll be right back.”
Slider got out of bed and left the room for a few minutes before coming back with a damp hand towel. He cleaned the area between Y/N’s legs before tossing it into the laundry basket and getting into bed. He pulled her closer making their legs tangled together. Slider softly talked to her asking her if she was alright while rubbing circles on her thighs. The two shared a conversation before deciding it was time for bed.
*The Day After at the Party*
“So, you had an eventful night didn’t you?” Mav smirked.
“Mitchell, shut up before I throw you into the ocean when we’re on a carrier,” Slider sends him a daggered look.
He soon looked over to see Y/N talking and laughing at the conversation she was having with Carole and Sarah.
“Looks like you and Ron had a pretty exciting night,” Carole nudged Y/N a little.
“How did you know?” Y/N blushed.
“Well you’re still glowing and you missed a spot.” Sarah pointed out the missed love mark that peeped over the neckline of her dress.
“Oh well,” Y/N replied while shrugging her shoulders.
“You’re planning on doing it again aren’t you?” Carole questioned as she saw the look on her friend’s face.
“Oh yeah.”
Y/N took a sip of her drink and sent Slider a wink before turning her attention back to the conversation.
“He’s gone isn’t he?” Wolfman asked.
“Yep,” everyone answered at the same time.

I wrote this for a lovely anon, I hope you like it!
It is a Tom ‘Iceman’ Kazansky x pregnant!female!Mitchell!reader imagine.
Thank you @footprintsinthesxnd for proofreading!
Warnings: pregnancy, a fight, this is an AU where Goose is still alive 😊
Tumblr media
Your brother was in a rivaling relationship with Tom ‘Iceman’ Kazansky, which was exactly why you decided not to tell him you were dating.
If you were honest, you hadn’t imagined you’d fall in love with Iceman, the cocky and restless fighter pilot, it had just been a hookup at first.
But the longer you found yourself in his bed the more drawn to him you became, and he felt the same way about you.
You started dating and you loved being with Tom, he was gentle and sweet to you in private, always making sure you were having a good time.
In contrast to your brother and Ice, you were a much more gentle and timid character, working as a kindergarten teacher near the base they were stationed at.
The men loved your nurturing side and got a lot of comfort from you, which they seemed to need because it was the opposite to their dangerous job.
Tom especially loved to just lay in your arms, feeling your fingers run through his hair and over his skin, as he closed his eyes in bliss.
The fact that your brother didn’t know about your relationship was hard for you, but it was necessary given that you knew he wouldn’t approve.
You cared for his opinion but that wasn’t why you were scared to tell him, it was more like you knew Maverick was capable of doing anything.
You wouldn’t put it past him to send you away or to manage to get Tom deported somewhere else, so you stayed silent.
It worked well for a few months, until morning sickness and cravings indicated that it would be impossible to keep it secret from your brother much longer.
You were a nervous wreck when you found out, but you had Tom and Carole with you, while her husband tried his best to keep Maverick busy enough so he wouldn’t notice right away.
It was crucial to find the perfect timing to tell him and you hadn’t found it yet, even while you were preparing for the pregnancy with the help of your boyfriend and best friend.
Carole already had a kid and she knew about the dos and don’ts, she was the one to bring you prenatal vitamins and everything else you might need.
You were all of the opinion that everything was going well, but Mav had caught on without you knowing so.
“Congrats, man!” He exclaimed as he sat down on Carole and Goose’s porch with his best friend and RIO, a broad grin on his face while Goose looked rather confused.
It took him a few seconds before he could answer, blinking repeatedly as he tried to think of what Mav might have meant.
“Why?” He replied, staring at his pilot with a look that resembled the intelligence of a cow.
“For the kid! Another baby Bradshaw? I saw Carole with the vitamins she used to take with Bradley,” Mav continued, but Goose only looked at him in denial.
“Nah man, she made me have a vasectomy the moment Bradley was born,” he laughed it off, leaving a lingering feeling of unease in Mav because the only woman Carole was close with was you.
It took Mav another five minutes before he stood up without explanation, mounting his bike and leaving Goose by himself, cursing into the silence his best friend had left.
Carole had just come by with the vitamins and you were having a calm and careful discussion about what you would be expecting and what would be expected of you during the pregnancy when the door to your apartment was thrown open, revealing a panting Maverick.
You gave Carole a questioning glance and she shook her head in similar surprise.
“How long?” Maverick asked you, his impressive brows knit together in confusion and what looked like anger.
Your confusion was still all-encompassing so you just stared at your brother, who took a few steps forward, his eyes never leaving you.
“How long have you been pregnant? And who’s the father?” He growled in anger and you could hear a hint of sadness in his voice, hurt at not having been told at all.
“Please, Mav, what are you doing here?” You tried to change the subject without having to answer, but your brother was far too resilient.
“I need to know how long you’ve been hiding this from me,” he let out, moving a few steps closer and letting his eyes roam your face.
You were about to open your mouth to answer when you heard footsteps outside, and a voice you were all too familiar with spoke up, which had your blood run cold.
“Baby, I…,” Tom began as he opened the door but he stopped talking the second he saw Mav standing there, his eyes widening in surprise and a tiny bit of fear when your brother slowly turned around.
In contrast to the slowness of the movements when he turned around, the second Mav saw Ice he lunged at him, throwing himself the last few inches and letting his fists pummel his friend and rival’s face countless times.
Tom did all he could in trying to defend himself, while Carole and you just stood in shock.
Your entire body felt as if it was put under ice water, watching your brother and boyfriend fight until Tom was on the ground, Mav’s fist repeatedly drawing blood from your boyfriend’s nose.
It took you a few seconds before you rushed to Tom’s aid, trying to pull your brother off of him, but not having the strength.
Mav was too emotional to realize who was urging him to stop so he just shook you off, throwing his arm back at you and striking your cheek with the back of his hand before you fell to the ground with the force he had used to free himself of your hindering touches.
The second you hit the ground everyone in the room held their breath, not a single person moving as all eyes were on you.
You could feel tears stinging in your eyes and your hand went to your belly to see if you were okay, and Tom reacted first out of the three of them.
He threw off Mav as if he weighed nothing and rushed towards you, his bloody fingers cupping your face and angling it so that you were looking up at him.
You were still in shock but Tom tried to calm you, his voice gentle but slightly trembling as he asked you if you were okay.
He had to repeat it a few times before you answered and Mav used the time to look back and forth between the two of you, watching his wingman with a gentleness he didn’t even know he possessed.
Your hands were shaking as you raised them to your boyfriend’s face, touching the spots that were already starting to darken with a harsh violet color.
“I’m okay, I think,” you breathed out the words more than you whispered them, but Tom used the opportunity to repeat what you had said.
“You’re okay, you’re okay, it’ll be fine,” he whispered time and time again as he moved to hug you, cradling you in his arms and rocking you back and forth slightly.
When Tom realized that there was no reason to worry for you he turned towards Mav, looking at him while he was still holding you.
“I’m sorry. We wanted to tell you but it never seemed like the right time. This wasn’t planned, but I love her more than I even love flying, so please don’t do anything stupid. I need her,” he told his wingman, who simply stared at him.
Mav moved towards you to pull you up from your position on the ground, holding onto your arms before he wrapped you in the tightest hug you had ever shared with him.
You could feel wetness on your cheeks as well as in your hair, indicating that your brother was crying, just like you were.
When you were finished hugging Mav pulled away, still holding onto you as he pressed a loving kiss to your forehead.
“I’m so sorry, are you okay?” He asked even though he knew the answer, making sure you were alright because he needed you to be.
