Today we are playing a game of spot the angry ginger.

Can you find him? 

Of course you can't, he is so short!

Maybe instead of waisting our time looking for that shortie we let his now approaching friend lead us to him.

Reader P. O. V

"Rough day?"

Chuuya looks up at me with colourless eyes.

When eyes as blue as his can even become colourless, is when I know something is wrong.

"Mhm..." mumurs off him.

I sit next to him on the frozen bench he was occuping.

"Wanna talk about it?" 

Following the lines of his face, wich was beaten fair and square with fatigue, I searched for clues as to figure out what was he feeling.

Then his expression cracks under frustration.

"Eeeghh... Mori is pushing me to the max again! The fucking championship will be the death of me!"

He throws his head back, holding his percious hat. 

"Ah, fuck! I forgot the Port skaters were also competing!" My tired sighs intertwine with his, as I rest my forearms onto my knees. Trying to elevate the weight of the realization.

"Back to pretending we hate each other again~"

Chuuya nods at the night sky.

I raise myself back upward to look at him.

Seeing him like this he reminded me of a wounded bird.

My first instinct was to help him. Anyway that I could.

I opened my mouth to speak.

"I love you Chuuya and that's why I will say this... Maybe you should retire?"

"And maybe you should learn to shut your mouth?!?"

Chuuya P. O. V

I just then realize what I said.

"Wow... OK, no need to be rude!"

Her gentle eyes and worry for me acted as salt to my wound.

I'm a fucking idiot. 

I hide from those eyes by pulling my hat down to my nose. 

" Fuck... I... I'm really sorry Y/N... for yelling. It's just that, the Port skaters shaped me" I look back at her quickly "They helped me get to this point in my career. Even without the contract, leaving them seems like betrayal!"

She just giggles.

"Your loyalty is your biggest weakness and your biggest strength Chuuya" 

My hat gets a flick upwards from her "I love that about you..."

Her breathy sigh floats to my ears.

"Look.. I can't make decisions for you. I'm your friend not your mother but if I see you this sad and tired again, Mori won't live to sunrise"

Her words fuzz into my already swelled up heart. 

"Heh... He should be scared then!"

She smiles.

"That's my Chuuya! Now, wanna go get some wine? I have to pack tommorow and pretend I hate you so there's no drinks before we get back. " 

I take her stretched out hand, letting her pull me off my seat towards her. 

"Sure. Let's go"

God, I love it when she smiles.

Chuuya Nakahara is back

(since I don't know when or if it'll be complete one day at all the figure skatar Chuuya fic, have the prologue that is the only part i finished for real)

Spring is arriving late this year, there is no sing of the cold wind of the previous months going away anytime soon and, inside the venue, cold sink to his bones, making him shiver. For someone born during spring, having his birthday approaching with bad weather always has looked like a bad omen. 

He sits there, one leg crossed over the other, hands resting over them. Calm and collected, eyes fixed in the ice, sharp as ever.  

There's a flash, the click of a camera next to his face, but he ignores it. He blinks a few times, so the whiteness disappears, and his vision focus again.  

Chuuya sits there, wrapped in his black leather jacket, with his brother by his side.  

They sit in the front row center at the Sud de France Arena. In the sidelines, coaches take jackets from the skaters and offer water bottles sprinkled with last advice. Young girls in pink dresses wait for their time to take the ice, once flowers fill the surface of the rink, they'll take it, dreaming of one day where they would be the stars.  

The last of the five group of skaters take the ice. Murakami first, followed by Kitakata and Ibuse. Contesti and Gauthier, the only Europeans in the last group, wave as they glide across the ice. Jin-Seo, from Korea, closes the group. Even if the skaters from the last group made almost clean programs, this is the moment of truth.   

This last group will determine the winner.  

Chuuya and his brother watch, in a venue filled to the rim for the first time in years, as the skaters start their warmup. In thirty minutes, a new world champion is going to be crowned.

Verlaine's hair looks almost white under the lights, maybe it is, the last three years have been nothing but cruel to him.  

"They're watching," he says. French rolls easy on his tongue. Even after two decades, there's no trace of Japanese in his accent when he speaks. "Vultures."  

"They always do."  

The click of the camera doesn't distract him from the ice, from the six skaters using every second of the warmup. The Italian kid, because he’s not even a man jet, is jumping out of his axe. He doesn't fall, he doesn't stumble, but it feels so wrong in Chuuya's eyes.  

His hands tighten against the fabric of his pants, his legs crave to get down there, to teach all these kids how it's done. If the Korean skaters wins here, he’ll tie his lifetime record of three world titles in a row.  

The cold air burns his nose when he takes a deep breath, and it feels like home. The razor shape pain of jealousy fills his lungs and Chuuya eyes narrow when the first kid takes his starting position.  

The gold medal is within this six. But he only cares about the one who is been trying less than a point apart from his record four times already. The man who can make two of his records in this sport disappear like it’s nothing.  

“They’re trying to catch you angry. They want to see you rooting against him,” Verlaine is more collected that Chuuya thought he could be in this situation. “What did I always tell you?”  

“Don’t let it show in your face,” since he was a kid, Chuuya always wore emotions in his sleeve, in his face. And that wasn’t good once you stepped out of the rink. He was asked to be royal once he was seated in the Kiss & Cry or in the green room, especially in the green room. 

In the ice, representing Italy, Marco Contesti, the announcer says.  

Contesi is 6th after the short. He needs 123,2 need to take the lead. Good skater, nice jumps, but he gets nervous the moment he makes a mistake.  

"Want to share anything with the classroom?"  

When Verlaine speaks, his lips barely move. He doesn’t tear his eyes apart from the ice, not letting anyone know what is happening in their seats. In a few hours, they will appear in magazines and blogs, under the news about the just crowned champion.  

“He always messes his second jump in the free if he had a clean short.”  

The quad loop is his worst jump, the one Contesi fails two of each three times. Having a clean loop in the short, means that right now, the jump is the only thing in his head, and that overthinking is going to be his demise.   

Skaters are, after all, creature of habits. Once something is engraved in you, dropping it is almost impossible.   

Chuuya squares his shoulders before a jump, and he always turn to fall on his left hip.  

Verlaine used to prerotate all his flips, even if it was so subtle that only Chuuya and himself knew.  

“Maybe Kitakata can stop him, he has a good free. If he skates clean, he’ll already be 3 points over Jin-Seo with the segment score only.”  

"Kitakata has a cursed song and a stiff presentation, everyone knows it. Nothing good comes of skating to La, La, Land soundtrack.”  

It started as a joke, between both fans and skaters, but each year it proves to be real. Chuuya only saw two skaters finish a clean skate with that music.   

And in top of that, he is from Kagawa, of course the federation hasn’t even blinked in his direction to help him improve the messiest parts of his programs. Why would they do it, when they can focus in their new brilliant Tokyo stars?  

“He's bending his knee to much he'll-”  

The takeoff is clean, but not high enough, so he falls.  

In the second jump, Verlaine almost smiles.  

“You haven’t lost it.”  

“I don’t know what you mean.”  

The kid leaves the ice, waving and bowing to the judging panel. To the public. The smile on his face is fake and forced, the one you offer after a mediocre presentation.  

“Every skater has a weak spot, a flaw” Verlaine says. “And you’ve always been fantastic at seeing them.”  

“Right,” it’s in his veins, in is blood. It's in every single cell of his body. He has spent more years in the ice than out of it. Observing program after program across the world, both in person and trough a screen. He as attended to camps and seminars. He has imparted them. If a part of his body is more trained than his legs, is his eyes.  

“So, what’s Jin-Seo?”  

There's an answer in the tip of his tongue, but he can’t say it out loud.  

“I can feel you staring Paul,” even if he hasn’t stopped looking at the rink. “Jin-Seo relies too much on quads,” not like that’s a big flaw. Chuuya used to do that too. If you have a jump, why not use it?   

“But he does them so often that his triples are unpolished.”  

“Lots of power, but he's slow, he needs too many crossovers to jump. He’s fast on his spins and in the air, but for the preparation, he’s not quite quick as Contesi or Tetcho.”  

“Or you,” his brother says. “There’s nobody on the circuit right now who is as fast as you were. Not just with your feet, but with your head, too.”  

Because he was one in a million.  

Because he had been training two hours a day when he was just six.   

Because he was born to step in that podium, one time and other and other.   

“I’d have to face a bunch of kids with powerful quads and ten years younger, though,” he tells Verlaine. “Maintain the speed and my jumps.”  

“That won’t be easy.”  

“Not at my age,” Verlaine scoff at that. At twenty-eight, Chuuya is past the age of skating. In this sport, most people retire young and broken, and Chuuya is just one of those things. “I don’t have the jumps I used to have.”  

Another skater takes and leaves the ice, boring program, the millionth guy in a plain purple shirt, skating to Prince.   

“That’s truth,” Verlaine reaches for his bottle, taking a sip. “And you’re out of shape, you’ll need to go back to your previous regimen.”  

He’s not that out of shape.   

He still trains, he still goes out for his morning run. But he doesn’t spend five hours in the rink each day, burning until his legs can’t take it anymore.  

“If I did it...” he says, the answer he had a few minutes ago burns in his tongue.  

Jin-Seo takes the ice. Four minutes and it’ll be over. He'll tie his record.  

Or two of them.  

A migraine starts to grow as he visualizes it. He's stuck in this chair, watching as a kid takes everything he ever earned from his hands.   

He wants to scream. He could be his weak spot.  

His flaw.  

Facing him, the face of facing a living legend would be their demise.   

“Who’s going to coach me? You?”  

Because, if Chuuya at least steps in the rink each day for job, this is Verlaine’s first time facing the ice in three years.  

“That’s on you Chuuya,” because he wouldn’t blame his brother if he wanted to take this road alone after everything that happened.  

“Fuck,” Jin-Seo's only messy jump, the triple axel, is flawless. Around them everyone leans forward. Everyone waits for a perfect program, for a record to be smashed.  

Chuuya looks at the screen, this looks bad for him.  

The boxes are green, the TES keep getting higher.  

His stomach sinks, he feels sick.  

So Chuuya squares his shoulders and, without looking at him, Verlaine gets his answer.  

“Are you sure?”   

No.  

Absolutely not.  

“I’m not at my best.”  

“Neither I am.”  

Does people even remember him? Do reporters even care about him from something apart from gossip?  

“You’ll coach a ghost.”  

“I’ll coach the best figure skater the world has known,” Verlaine’s hand rest in his leg.  

Even after all those years, affection doesn’t come easy to them.   

In the ice, after one last jump, all Jin-Seo's boxes are green.  

“You’ll really do it?”   

“It can ruin everything,” he whispers. “Prove that I run away, that I was scared... I’ll lose my name and my legacy.”   

“This is not everything Chuuya,” his hand squeezes his leg, and Chuuya feels tears prickling his eyes. Oh, he knows. God, he knows that world doesn’t end once he takes off his skates, he learned it the hard way.  

He feels so cruel, because for a moment, the thought of telling him that he’s wrong crosses his mind.  

“You’ll have to work me to the bone.”  

“It would an honor,” he jokes. Like he had ever done anything but working his brother to the bone, squeeze all the talent he had out of him. “To coach you again, it’ll make me so happy.”  

Jin-Seo sits in the Kiss & Cry.  

His coach, an old Korean figure skater, puts a jacket over his shoulders.  

The glint on his eyes tells Chuuya everything.  

The way he punched the ice is enough.  

“I guess I’m coming out of retirement,” he says, and Verlaine’s hand squeezes his leg a little tighter when the numbers show in the screen.  

Jin-Seo jumps, hands in the air, he just crowned himself world champion for the third time.  

“Let’s see how long that last.” 

Nakahara surprises the world one last time  

Nakahara Chuuya (23) takes the gold in Saitama, his third world title in a row stabilizes a new record since the federation statutes changes. But the record is not what everyone is talking about. After a challenging event, where he struggled to take the lead, Nakahara announced his retirement from competition skating without any previous statements about it. For now, he has not announced any press conference, and all his social media has been deactivated. Both fans and teammates ask what the reason behind this is. An injury? The pressure of the new generation of skaters? For now, we don’t have any answer, but will the ice prince become a coward prince? We'll see it.

aaaaaaa i’ve been waiting for the latest chapter of he was a skater boy!!! i can’t believe you left us with that cliff hanger after all the party shenanigans - i really like whenever we get to see what’s going on in dazais head since he’s such a confusing character to write and he gets to be so silly this chapter (side note i now need a million drawings of a sopping wet creaturezai after he was dumped into the pool)

Oops I guess I did leave a cliffhanger but I at least confirmed that both Dazai and Chuuya are okay!

And yessss I always feel like people should write teenzai as much weirder and I’ve shown that before but I was so happy to dig deeper into that in this chapter lmao

Tbh half the reason it’s taking me so long to write chapters now is me agonizing over how to characterize the boys, so I’m just happy whenever they come across well 😌

Headcannon that Chuuya is a really good figure skater

Like I want to write a fic about the PM and Detective agency dealing with an ability that causes ice to appear everywhere, and then suddenly no one knows how to get anywhere because they can’t walk or drive.

Camera zooms in on Chuuya, already lacing up his black Edea Pianos, everyone is more than confused. He makes his way over to the door which is frozen open, takes his guards off of his blades and goes on his merry way.

Even better is he doesn’t have to use ftts to skate because he’s actually a good skater without it.

💚🥋Lee does not discriminate. He loves all winter sports! He's not the greatest at ice skating, but he still tries his best and has fun!

💚🥋He's a bit of a daredevil with sledding. He likes to race Naruto! Sometimes everything is fine, and other times somebody is getting a lecture from Sakura!

💚🥋He goes all out with snowball fights, and I mean all out! No matter how many times you tell him it's just a game, he ends up going toe to toe with Naruto and exhausting himself. It's a bit of a problem.

🖤♦️Why would you want to go outside in the cold? Isn't it so much better to stay inside by the fire? Rene really doesn't get the point of winter sports, and he will do his best to convince you to stay inside (he's just worried you'll catch a cold).

🖤♦️With enough pestering, he might go sledding with you. He insists on sitting in the front. No, it's NOT just because he wants you to hold onto him. Humans are just incredibly fragile and he doesn't want you to break bones!

🖤‼️He won't let you do much in a snowball fight. He'll sit you in a snow bunker and tell you to stay put. If someone manages to hit you, he'll tear after them and bring them to the bring of death with ice-laced snowballs.

🖤‼️Ice skating is a no-go. It's far too dangerous. Sledding is ok… so long as it's on a safe hill and he's in front.

🖤🩺His attempt to organize a free-for-all snowball fight with the PM was an utter disaster, but that doesn't stop him from organizing a sledding trip next! Chuuya insists on racing everyone (and winning), and Akutagawa ends up face first in the snow.

the way they skate is metaphorical, it represents their characters,

dazai's skating style is very dainty and elegant, his moves are smooth and soft. his every move and routine is carefully calculated to the last bit, it's never too fast, neither too slow, his tempo never changes, there are never climax points in his routines. yet his performances are always mesmerizing and serene. it seems easy to copy his routines but it's proven to be harder than it looks for the people who tried.

he's a great talent and it's common knowledge that he's capable of harder and more complex figures, but he hardly ever does them, maybe once in a blue moon. it's not that he's not capable, but rather because it's not fitting for his style. if he did them so often, they'd get regular but he uses these moves so rarely that every time he does something different and bigger than his usual moves it's a shock factor for the audience and that's exactly his purpose.

yet chuuya's skating is aggressive and full of emotions. he puts everything he has into his performances, which often causes him to get physically hurt, but he's a fast healer and he's back on the ice in no time. his injuries are so constant that it has stopped being a cause of worry for his fans, his pain and complex routines are taken for granted because he's never afraid of putting on a show and doesn't shy away from an injury, unlike dazai him using big and hard moves in a performance is not a shock factor which causes him to not get appreciated enough. yet he still keeps doing them, his performances never lose their intensity. he's really professional abt skating and even if something goes wrong during a performance he never lets it ruin the show.

i saw this post and i also coincidentally saw the art a few days ago while crying over yuzuru hanyu so let's do this ! idk much abt figure skating so if i got anything wrong / say anything wrong pls lmk

i wanna believe that chuuya as a fs would be like yuri plisetsky. he would be so aggressive with making all his jumps quads and attempting them all the time during practice, but he might not do it during competition if he feels like he can't do it

he started very young, thinking that getting into ballet and ice skating would stretch his legs and make him taller (im half joking), but he's very good very early on

he might be more recreational rather than competitive, but never really refuses when he's offered to compete. might as well yk

like yurio, he has a certain genre or type of flow he wants for his programs. i feel like he would do something like this . something very bold and telling, and hes flexible. he can pull off those back bends and spins

he may be very aggressive, he's a graceful skater. his moves are clean and sharp and it's very satisfying to see him skate. it's like he glides so smoothly on the ice, like the ice is doing his bidding by giving him the most smooth ride. his jumps are cut and dry, and he makes AMAZING SAVES !!

hence his amazing saves, he's dubbed as the gravity manipulator (corny, ik) because it almost seems impossible how he jumps so high and spins so low yet still keep his balance and stamina. like, how?

of course every artist has their flaws, and chuuya's might be his facial expressions . he gets the message of his piece and it reflects in his movements but not on his face , its VERY visible when u know he fucks up a jump or forgets a certain part of a routine. he might make amazing saves that look like it was MEANT to happen, his face says otherwise. hes working on it tho !!!..... he'll get there .

outside the rink, he's very kind to his fanbase and interacts with them a lot in social media. it gets him in trouble sometimes, especially when judges are biased against him due to his "feminine" figure and gives him a crappy score and those hastags pop-up on twitter? yeah. he's ALL OVER THOSE

DO NOT GIVE HIM WINE DURING SPECIAL EVENTS OR BANQUETS DEAR LORD hes JUST like yuuri but hes ready to beat anyone's ass 😭 his manager and publicist steers him away from the bar after ONE incident. they learned their lesson abt chuuya and alcohol

his diet and workout regimen is pretty normal, but he works out a lot more when he can't come to the rink. he values his body and it's strength a lot so he's very mindful of the food he eats (except w wine). hes a beauty to work with

as mentioned above, due to his small stature and slim figure, it's difficult for him to place and score a lot due to biased judges and conflict of interests in what male figure skaters should look like. he's very passionate about defending himself, but secretly wishes he was taller and maybe a bit more buff :( my poor chuuya

as for being his s/o ,,

he would LOVE YOU FOREVER if you come to his competitions. even if u dont wanna come with him to the kiss and cry (because you can't, but he insists you should), just seeing you in the crowd before his program starts gives him such a boost. toss him a gift after his program he'll keep it forever

although chuuya loves you and values his time with you, his time inside the rink is sacred. it's his first love, his safe space, so he won't compromise a lot when it comes to his practice time on the ice. but he has PLENTY of time after that, in which he wishes nothing more than to spend it with you.

come to his practices tho !! though he might be a bit loud and dizzy to watch, he's amazing at what he does and he loves it when two of his most loved things are together. wipe the sweat off his face when he approaches u he'll die inside

tie his hair for him !!!

when you learn all the terminologies in secret and try to memorize what each jump is and which program is for what event and stuff he'll be so happy

but seriously, if he asks you to help him then please please please do. he makes up for it by supporting you in your chosen hobby/profession as well !!

if you're a figure skater as well, then congratulations! you're both in pairs now /j

solo or pairs, he'd be super happy to see you compete or even just perform. he thinks you're so awesome and cool

a bit jealous about pairs but he knows TT he's closely considering pairs .

if he is your partner, you're the one lifting him up /j but seriously, he can take on both roles he's amazing

isn't that strict with diets with you but helps you avoid things you shouldn't eat from time to time, but usually he's your enabler when it comes to cheat days and eating off diet ^^

all in all, he's a great figure skater and an even greater s/o .

Third person P. O. V

[Armed Skater Agency] 

"Aa-aah~"

"Dazai stop moaning and stretch properly we're behind schedule because of you!" Kunikida yelled, slapping Dazai's head with the back of his clipboard.

Dazai got up from his splits with a saddened face.

"No need to be soo cruel Kunikida-kuunn"

"Stop whining, you good-for-nothing! It's because of you that the rest are waiting!"

Their bickering continued like this even as both of them got onto the ice. 

"Kunikida-san, where is the president?" asked Yosano, interrupting thir shineningans.

This snapped the focus in Kunikida back to life, turning back to her with a serious expression.

"He won't be joining us today. I was asked to take over this time" he put his clipboard down on the edge of to rink. Thus freeing his hands.

He clapped them loudly to get the attention of the skaters, scattered around him across the rink.

"Alright everyone, come close!"

And so the group of skaters did, waiting for his further instructions. 

"Today we begin your improved programs with the usage of abilities. We'll go over the old ones and see where we can improve. Yosano-san you're up first."

Reader P. O. V

Yosano spins with a thick layer od elegance wrapping around her, so peaceful yet strong.

My eyes relax as I drink in her mysterious presence.

Then she pulled out a machete half her size.

The pupils of my eyes shot wide open.

She became treffying.

I couldn't stop looking at her. 

Between sharp jumps and swings with her ginormous knife, her peacfull grace came back near the end of her performance. When her final panting arabesque was revealed by glowing butterflies leaving her blood soaked clothes. 

"Wow... " withered out of me. 

She joins me near the edge, wipping sweat on her brow, as the rest applaud her.

I would have talked to her and expressed my amazement if didn' t have to shift my focus back on the ice and Ranpo's performance. 

He was among the most popular skaters... And one of the laziest, just like Dazai. 

His skating was sepping of sheer wit. Unexpected flickers of movement never failing to make audiences swoon. Ranpo never once slipped while skating, bringing good name to our Agency. 

It's like he didn't need an ability to make a great show. 

After Ranpo, Dazai and his charm were next.

I highlight charm, for it was that charm combined with his amazing talent and looks that got him heeps of fangirls. 

Sometimes we couldn't fight them off. 

I wonder what will they think of him now after they see him with with a blue whirlwind of light around him. 

Soon after Dazai's performance we saw Kunikida and his flawless timing to every beat.

It was my turn next.

My limbs slowly started to melt under high stakes I just saw. 

"I'm fucked" pumped through my thoughts as I got on the ice. 

My hot muscles hit the cold wind as I move. 

Spinning I get up, strings of concrete fibers of pain pulling me backwards. 

I struggle against them knowing it makes me look stiff. 

The fight persisted with every jump and axel up until my last move. Which I ended with a thud on the ground, out of breath. 

Blinking away the shame rising in my gut, I walk back to the edge where the rest stood quietly.

I'm met with Kunikida's hand waiting to give me several notes. 

"You need work Y/N... Lots of it"

If he had hit me with a bag of bricks it would have hurt less. 

Third person P. O. V

[The Port skaters] 

Loud bang of a body hitting the ice could be heard throughout the rink. 

A tired lot of aching muscles stretched out on the ground breathed with difficulty. 

"Glad to see you practicing without me Chuuya-kun~"

Chuuya hurriedly got up. White dots sparking in his vision.

"Apologies for not waiting, Boss" 

Mori giggled off the name "Boss" his skaters used as a joke. 

"It's fine, but I am obliged to warn you that you'll need to save some of that energy for the future... "

"Huh?!" 

"Your program is full of moments that require ballet level strength, hence that's why I'm entrusting you to Kyouyu-san."

The famous ballerina walked out of the shadows. 

"Good to see you again, lad" 

Chuuya bowed "Good to see you again too, big sis... "

Mori spoke again "Chuuya you have already come from Kyoyou-san's ballet school, so I'm sure you are well aware of how things shall progress further... But this time for the sake of the competition you will have to go through it again... Only this time it will be 10 times more rigorous. "

Behinde Chuuya's strong nod was hidden a scared shiver of remembrance of how strict that program was in the past. 

Mori's willingness to train Chuuya... Pushing him to the limits...

All of this pushed a single thought into Chuuya's consciousness.

He really was an important pawn in this game of chess Mori was unfolding.

Hi! I have been desperately wanting a skk figure skating AU and was expecting I’d have to write it myself but then I found out you have one! Please take this as an invitation to ramble about it, I am listening intently and taking detailed notes like this is a college lecture.

OMG HELLO

1st of all you must know that i actually have 2 versions of this au: skk medal count goes more or less the same but there's a diference

The au I have more worked and developed is a figure skater chuuya only, he's the skater, Dazai is his #1 fan and best friend since dippers, he ends becoming a teacher but he quite likes music, so some times he makes the arrangments for Chuuya's programs

That one is a simple one, Chuuya is adopted by Verlaine when he's 4 or 5, Verlaine is France top skaters, but he suffers an injurie during Torino 2006 and had to retire, so he become Chuuya coach

I love figure skating, I follow it all season so I know more or less about how ISU works and I wanted to keep it more or less realistic: under and over scorings, disliking some music, styles and all that

The only thing I'm more or less ignoring about the ISU is that here they're transfrindly weeeeeeeee Chuuya is trans here

Anyway back to the details Chuuya is also inspird by Yuzuru Hanyu, I'm biased and I'm not sorry

He wins a lot, gets a lot of world reconds and, since he's my fave and this is my self indulgent au, 3 consecutive medal titles: 2014, 2018 and 2022

He'll retire around 26 or so, becuse his style is really agresive, like he has a good technique and he takes care of his body, but he's been hiding injuries and trying quads since his junior days

he's such an artistic skater, deep edges, can do figures, so so so flexible and adaptable... he knows ballet, so he's really a pretty clasic 90s like skater, but with a punk side

Well, you've already seen my post about his programs: he chooses the music he wants, not the one the ISU would like to hear

This happens because, when he was still a junior, he made a deal with Verlaine: If i win the gold at junior worlds, I get to choose my music ALWAYS

AND HE WON

oh and kouyou also trains him, she's his choerographer

but like his brother he gets a bad injury during the Olympics, hide it, and it gets worst at words, so he needs surgery and he takes a whole year to heal

anyway after retiring he goes into coaching, and skk get to get marred and have a kid

also he's terrible at intweviews during his whole carrer, he doesn't have a filter

and he's plushie is of course a tinny dog

The other au is: ice dancers skk

because listen, I love ice dance, and I've been in this fandom since 2016 so you know, the moment i sat in front of my TV watching VirtueMoir skating to Moulin rouge I KNEW THAT WAS SOMETHING MEANT FOR SKK

I know dazai is strong, but I choose ice dancing for them instead of pairs becase I still think that, even if he's strong, Dazai is quite lazzy

They're insane in ice dance, they lifts are, so SO SOSOSO ACROBATIC, they're so in sync that it's scary

also win a lot, they retire a little latter becuse ice dancing is """""easier"""" so they stay in top until their 30s and retire

and well, the kid happens here too because it's my other self indulent thing, he borns during the covid seaons, so they only miss a season and half as they recover and adapt, do a few more seasons where a whole horde of uncles and unties take care of the kid while his parents win medals, and when they finally retire, it's in part so they can foccus on the family they're creating

oh and this chuuya (because i can never leave him alone) gets a small plot of having fribromialgia

the diagnosis is actually what makes skk switch from pairs to ice dance, so it won't take such a tool in chuuya's body

inspiration?? VirtueMoir, SuiHan, Smart/Diaz, Sara/Kirill (can you tell I love pair events???) they're so elegant

Like Poirier/Gilles?? I may have not liked them this season, but the last ones??? the elegance in their Vangoh one?? god insane, i want that for skk

they're elegant and risky and bold, as they get older they lean more in the Daisuke/Muramoto style, older figure skaters everyone looks up to and everyone loves

they're glued by the hip, never seen apart

The base of this one would be their kid in the futyre giving an interview about his parents, like a 10 aniversary thing of skk first OLympic medal, and we'll see their storie like a docuentary

(this is fun because one scene is the reporter showing an old video of skk to the kid and the video is an interview that goes like:

Reporter would you like it if your kid become a figure skater?

skk: no, they would like a sport easier and more natural for the body for the kid.

cut back to the kid in the docomentary sayinf that teehee, he did become a figure skater in the end)
