If you’re still accepting requests (I’m sorry if you’re not, you can totally ignore this):
Hw would the moon boys react with a reader whose love language is cooking and baking? Like, on a random day, their partner just starts making them all sorts of dishes and pastries for them to take to work, leaving little love notes with it.
Ihate cooking/baking, but the moment I’m in love I suddenly become a three Michelin star chef. 😂
*Undusts herself and looks around* Oh my gods, sorry about the HUGE delay! But here it is, I had a sudden idea while investigating about Hannukah (I hope I wrote it right) so... Marc Spector:
*Marc has some issues with the linking between food + love, we know why (coughcoughchapterfivefromseriescough). When you make him breakfast or he takes care of a meal for you, he perceives it as a simple couple task.
*So, why are you suddenly preparing such special dishes? If it happens you're not from the Jewish community, you begin to make traditional sweets or even whole meals, and you always seem expectating when practically dragging Marc to the table so he can "point" your cooking skills.
*It takes Marc some time to understand the reason behind your extra effort, and once he does... well, he's ready to swear to the whole Ennead he'll love and devote his life to yours until the end of this universe.
*He's not very picky with food, remember he was a marine and later a mercenary. To his eyes, whatever you do looks like a three-course banquet, and it overwhelms him in a special way.
*Marc is more into normal meals than comfort food, but will never say no when you ask him to try a just baked cupcakes or a natural fruit parfait. It's sweet, he thinks, but never sweeter than you.
Steven Grant:
*This man NEEDS someone to fill his stomach, like, ASAP. And I don't mean it because he's a vegan, but because we know he tends to forget to feed himself properly, like... almost every other esencial self-care tasks.
*The first time you prepare the breakfast for him, he disolves himself in compliments and kind words to you. Of course, he'll try to be fair and make meals for you too, so it's pretty usual that, when he invites you to stay in his place, he spends like three hours watching a tutorial to make a very fancy pasta and other things (specially if you're omnivore).
*One day, you show up to his work with a cute lunch that resembles a lot the kawaii meals you can see in the internet. Another day, you bring cookies you baked. And another day, you ask him if he's interested in some banana bread (and he better says yes because you've already cooked it).
*You could ask Steven to munch on a shoe and he'll do it happily. He loves everything you cook and bake for him and eats it like if it was the last meal on Earth. He looks almost like a little boy, his eyes reflect all the good feelings he has when you feed him.
*Of course he has his favourites, perhaps some specific cookies or, if it's summertime and you're up to, a sorbet flavor, but he's always up to experiment with whatever you have in mind.
Jake Lockley:
*Jake has an oposite vision about food than Marc. For him, if someone takes their time to cook or bake something, without being paid for that, it means they love the person they're cooking for with all their heart.
*So, try to picture what runs through his mind the first time you invite him to eat something you prepared in your apartment. He'll finish with the whole portions if you allow him.
*You know he's the most eccentric of the Moon boys, even more than Steven, so baking desserts is the right way to keep yourself into his heart (but, honestly, even if you handed him a bowl of cereal with fruit he'd still follow you like a loyal dog). Donuts and muffins are his favorites, and you don't have problems in spending some extra money to get the tools and ingredients for some decorations like whipping cream and royal ice.
*And ohh if this man doesn't love the cute messages you put along with his brand new box of bread. A little secret: he keeps all the notes you include in his meals, sticking them together with tape so they don't break and he can keep them like other people do with photos in their wallets.
*He's not affraid to ask you for certain things, if you tell him you want to try another thing (a cake, per example), he'll offer all of his support. And, in the case you fail a recipe, he'll be there to hug you and remind you that, for him, you're the best person in the world and you make him happy with or without food.

we're back at school bitches and i've been up to my walking all day and staying under my cal limit. let's fucking go. xmas break at home was just full of food and people and i wasn't weighing myself or bodychecking and yeah it was nice and i'm fortunate to have that, but in the back of my mind i felt like shit because i knew that i'd regret every bite of cannoli from that new bakery and eating sandwiches until my stomach felt like it was gonna explode and huge scoops of vanilla ice cream with extra chocolate chips (that i willingly added cause i'm fucking fat) once i got back to school and had more awareness of my body.
it sounds bad but it feels so good. i missed ed youtube. i missed weighing myself every hour and checking my waistline after every sip of water. bodychecking whenever i pee or just getting the urge to bodycheck and going to my mirror to life my shirt up. it's so comforting because i finally know i can do it. i plateaued so hard from 2020 to the first few months of 2021. i was like 160-165 for most of that time. then i got my shit together and it started working, and i finished off my semester and went home in the low 150s and i was so amped. but i went home for 4 months. and i went back to 163 JUST IN TIME TO GO ON MY FIRST SLEEPOVER COTTAGE TRIP AND TOOK PICTURES IN BIKINIS WITH MY FRIENDS THAT THEY ALL POSTED. and they're all so skinny and have those vertical belly buttons and honestly the pics weren't terrible but i look like an absolute blob but i wasn't gonna say that and stop them from posting because that would just make me stand out more. anyway september rolled around, i was back at school, then my grandma died, school was busy and i was just straight up not vibing.
but october -> december.......... im in love. december 2nd 2021. i saw the 140s for the first time since i was 15 years old. my lowest weight ever was around that time, beginning of 2017 when i was delivering newspapers every week and walking like crazy to high school and back. it was 138 pounds. if i could get back to something even close to that i would cry. december 2nd 2021 though was 149.8 pounds. and honestly? i was ecstatic. i bought a scale off facebook marketplace because i couldn't handle being away from the one i had at home and not knowing my weight. december 2nd i met that girl in front of a subway and i practically ran home i was so fucking excited. and to see my lowest weight in literally years, breaking below the 150s.... im still giddy.
I KNOW I CAN DO IT AGAIN. again, unfortunately winter break happened and i left home on jan 17th somewhere around 154 again. but that's okay. because i was 151.4 yesterday/last night and that's exactly where i was on november 27th 2021.
and actually i'm gonna weigh myself right now.
151.2!!!! AND I HAVENT EVEN POOPED IN 2 DAYS OR SLEPT YET IT'S LITERALLY 7:15 AM
im manifesting this for me. i have basically nothing to eat in my fridge or cupboard. the only food i really have rn is:
- assorted bag of oh henry/reese cups/cookies and creme
-cottage cheese
-carton of eggs
-3 cheesestrings
-a small sleeve of 8 crackers
-some cream cheese
-cans of 100cal chicken noodle soup
-some frozen broccoli
-frozen fries
-frozen fish
-hot chocolate powder (i deserve it fuck off)
-teaaaaa
-also some more frozen english muffins (160cal) and other dry pasta to be cooked, tuna cans, just other assorted low cal stuff that takes too much effort to make
it couldn't be easier. when i go in for my lab tomorrow i'm gonna get some cucumbers, cold cut slices (usually like 20-30cal per slice), and cherry tomatoes on the way home. those are my all time safe foods i'm telling you like 2 cold cut slices 2 baby cucumbers and im full for hours it's fucking magical.
wish me luck i cannot WAIT
(i just dont wanna lose all my ass though thats the only thing i have going for me) (it seems fine so far) (but id much prefer finally having skinny arms instead of my stupid thick meaty forearms and basically bingo wings over an ass any day)
peace

One Clear Moment
Am I a cheese-fucker or am I confused? Is it just a phase? I DON’T KNOW SO DON’T COME FOR ME!
WARNING! Some HEAVILY suggestive content up ahead- never expanded on or detailed but it is way too obvious to not put the warning out there. Possible disordered eating (mention), mention towards trauma but not expanded on.
Consider this a ‘post- vento aureo’ timeline where you and Formaggio escape your deaths and decide to elope. Yes, some real fluffy domestic romance shit.
@lasquadraweek2020, @risottoneroo, @giogio-gucci-gangstar.... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) I promise I’ll stop annoying ya’ll with the tags when this week is over
1,8 K words and a gender neutral reader- good luck
“You up yet, sugar?” You heard Formaggio whisper in your ear.
You wanted to answer no, just be content to press yourself back into his chest with a sigh. Just so he can hold you a bit longer. But you only grumbled a soft no.
He laughed against the back of your neck, wrapping an arm around you softly and turning you to face him. “Baaaabe-“ he whined softly. “Forget breakfast at home- let’s go out to eat for breakfast.”
You stretched out in his arms, hooking your one leg over his hip. “You said that we’d go out for dinner tonight.”
A rough laugh vibrated in his chest as you turned to face him. “Why not both?”
“Or all day?”
He laughed pulling you in tighter. “Come on, you know I don’t get days off very often. I just want to get out of the house with my love.” He drummed his fingers on your back gently then perked you with a bright smile. “Beach day.”
You raised an eyebrow at him- “You just want me in the least amount of clothes possible.”
“Not my fault your ssooo hot angel face.” His forehead touched against yours, his hand running down your exposed side before leaning in and planting a kiss on your lips. “Ohhh honey buns.” He groaned against your lips- hand slipping from your hip to your backside.
“Sweetie, be gentle with me.” He nearly pleaded as you rolled him onto his back with you on top, running your hands up his bare chest. A whine came from his lips as you leaned forward, giving him just enough friction as you leaned down to kiss his neck.
“Beach day right?”
You rolled off of him before his hands could find purchase on your body and head straight to the closet for your swimwear.
“Baby!” He called from the bed as you head towards the kitchen to prepare snacks.
“Yeah?” You turned to stand at your bedroom door, leaning against the frame.
“Your teasing is gonna get you in trouble.”
“Ohhh I can’t wait to see where that trouble leads.”
You spun around and continued on your own mission.
You had gone to the trouble to prepare two cold salads, some finger quesadillas (a family favorite of Formaggio’s) and some muffins you had left in the cupboard but the second Formaggio slipped into the kitchen, he simply nodded at the packed bag, nodded and added the bags of cookies and chips and some bottles of water before zipping it up and giving you a kiss. “I’ll get these in the car. Would you bring the towels and sunscreen in your bag?”
“You got the umbrella?”
“Yeah, sugar.”
It was only after he had disappeared into the garage that you felt your heart swell with the cute domesticity- the two of you had been through hell and back against Bucciarati but the day after Formaggio could sneak away out of the explosion that day, he faked his death and soon the two of you eloped and never looked back. You had new names and new lives- you worked as a nurse at a pediatric clinic and he was working as a bar manager at a club nearby. Things were good- so impossibly good you were sure that by some way you had made it to heaven or that it was all just a dream.
You threw on a light shirt and some jean shorts and hopped into the car with your husband.
True to his word you had stopped at a beach front restaurant for a proper breakfast before deciding to rent some surf boards.
You’d been living so close to the beach for so long that surfing had definitely become a nearly mastered feat. With a smile on your face you sat up on your board and waited for your husband to paddle by. “Would you believe me if I told you I’ve worked off breakfast?” He laughed.
You gazed up at the sun- it was probably around noon. “I believe you- it’s past noon. Need to reapply some sun screen too.”
You paddled back and tailgated in the trunk of your car- finishing half the water before setting up under the umbrella in the pristine white sand. The people started filling in the open spots on the beaches, the two of you leaning back and watching families and more couples than you could count. Formaggio looked up at you as you leaned over your own legs to get sunscreen over your feet.
“You ever wonder if we made a mistake picking this place?”
“Oh? And what would stop us from relocating?” You moved over to whisper in your ear. “Did you forget we’re not being watched anymore?”
Formaggio laughed, turning his head to steal a kiss on your cheek. “So we’ll talk where to next when we get home.”
You laughed at that. Was this what freedom felt like? At least you could admit that you forgot yourself but it was moments like this- that you could bask in the sunlight without the weight of the gang on your shoulders.
You had just finished the water in your hand when Formaggio leaned forward and kissed your jaw softly. You practically melted into him, leaning in closer, turning your head to kiss him properly.
But after a moment you stopped him and with a smile said. “We’re not going home.”
He gave an audible groan as he laid back into the trunk. “Doll face you can’t kiss me like that and expect me to behave.”
You turned back and hovered your upper body over him, with a pout you ran a hand over his chest. “But you promised.”
Formaggio ran a hand up your arm and sighed. “How am I supposed to say no to you sweet cheeks?”
You shot back up and got going again, making sure to massage the sunscreen into his back properly before you packed away the stuff back into the car and started your hand-in-hand walk along the boardwalk
You had occasionally indulged in some ice cream or a slushy together before heading through the supermarket closer to where you parked. You hopped into the car- exhausted by the day and head home. You had just packed the groceries away when Formaggio came to pick you up over his shoulder.
“Babe!” You laughed as he purposefully took wide steps to make you swing left and right over his shoulder. “Babe what are you doing?”
He gently put you down on the floor of the bathroom with a smile and were greeted with a filled up bubble bath and lit candles.
“I know you’re not really into this stuff but I thought you’d like to properly soak off the day.”
You turned around and kissed him eagerly, unable to stop yourself. “Join me?” You asked as soon as you broke away.
“Ohhh sweetums, I will.” He growled against your lips. “But I wanna get the pasta dough started for tonight first.”
You nodded eagerly and then slowly sunk into the water for a good soak.
Through the wall you heard your him put on the game for tonight- lucky for him it would be over before dinner, you just knew he liked some noise as he was kneading the dough.
You leaned your arms against the cool edge of the bath, wondering how you ended up with an Italian that liked making food from scratch- hard to imagine the bastard that would call and collect pizza and pasta at the restaurant near the squad base now refused to eat out. Sometimes you wondered if it was about his new identity he was so desperately trying to hide or if he genuinely liked making food from scratch.
The ten minutes of kneading passed and to your surprise Formaggio showed up into the bathroom with an anti pasta plate.
“You never stop eating, do you?” You laughed as he placed the platter on the lid of the empty laundry basket.
“I’m a growing boy, amore. I need to take care of myself.”
He poured you a glass of wine and joined you in the bath with a bottle of beer. One thing quite un-Italian of him but it was a little quirk you’d grown to love. “How’s the game going?”
You asked as you leaned out of the bath just enough to smeer two crackers with the sweet chilli cream cheese.
“Huh? How’d you know?”
You gave him his snack and smiled at his innocent surprise. “I’ve been living with you for four years, darling. I know you just want some noise while you’re kneading. Just like I know you hide the chocolate above the fridge so that I can’t reach it.”
He laughed at that, pulling you to face him on his lap. “And I know you sneak a cigarette after a nightmare but hate the smell of it on your hands so you hold the filter with a clothes peg.”
Your arm slid over one of his shoulders wrapping around him to bring him closer. “And I know you wash my smoking sweatshirt I leave outside once a week.”
“And I know you freeze the bread I bring home sometimes because you can’t eat it, which is bullshit by the way. If you wanna work off some extra calories, I’m sure you and I can figure something out.”
That mischievous grin slid over hid face as he brought his face closer to yours, noses touching as he pulled you close.
“Not in the bathtub, sweetie.” You groaned as he kissed up your shoulder to your neck.
He put his beer bottle down in the corner, not minding your warning so you put your wine glass down on the floor outside the bathtub.
“You’ve been denying me all day, baby. Please, honey. I’m so pent up.”
Oh how badly you wanted to give him what he wanted but if there was one thing you loved giving Formaggio, it was delayed gratification. So just as he had gotten handsy with your backside you stood up and stepped out of the bath.
He let out a strangled whine. “Hoonneey! I asked nicely.”
You sat on the edge of the bath with the towel. “Soon, babe. Trust me.” You gave him a kiss to the temple and got back up.
You picked up the plate he had brought- that was only finished halfway- and popped an olive in your mouth as you left.
He had often called you cruel for the way you teased but it had taken you a long time to realize how much he adored it- the suspense and the gratification made for a combo he couldn’t get enough of. You let him do the cooking for the dinner, sitting on the countertop in shorts with a glass of wine. You’d attempted to help him before and although he didn’t chase you out of the kitchen while he was working- but when you took a close enough step to his work, he littered kisses all over your face, stepping you away with a whispered. “No no no, my turn tonight.”
So you perched yourself on the countertop with your second glass of wine- every few minutes he’d come over, run his hands over the top of your thighs and settling himself between them nearing the end of his prep- alternating between gazing up at you with that stupid grin of his and peering around your waist to look at the soccer score on TV.
You sat cross-legged on the couch with your bowl of food and Formaggio next you as you watched the stupid soap story. Initially you two had laughed at the thought of being so domesticated you finished dinner on time for the soul purpose of having time to watch a stupid show on TV but at the same time it was comforting. To be side-by-side with each other when it seemed like you’d never have reached this point.
It was maybe also a distraction, perhaps a reminder to act normal under your new jobs and new names. His past was buried and burned in the street he had nearly died at and yours was buried under the blown up squad base.
Now you were simply a newlywed couple living a quiet life.
You packed in the dishes into the dishwasher and started the machine before cuddling up under Formaggio’s waiting arm until your show came to another boring end.
You lined kisses up his jaw, feeling low over his abdomen with your fingertips.
“Ohhhh sweetheart, please don’t tell me you’re teasing.”
You weren’t- he had waited long enough, so you silently felt him up just a bit more to see how well he’d restrain himself. When he let you do as you pleased without so much as making a move or whining you slipped down between his legs....
“I’m not teasing, sweetheart.”

food+drink from IT’S NOT ALL DOWNHILL FROM HERE by Terry McMillan
(these are all Kindle highlights. please let me know in the comments if you have other mentions of food and/ or drink in this book.)
1. buffet of fried chicken, BBQ ribs, baked beans, au gratin potatoes, some kind of salad, collard greens, and cornbread.
2. chocolate cake
3. angel hair pasta with prawns, some garlic bread, and a good salad
4. We could have some raspberry sorbet and not too many glasses of wine so that we still have energy...
5. glass of water with a slice of cucumber resting between tiny ice cubes.
6. ...a large plate of figs, squares of dark and white chocolate, green grapes, and four or five different types of cheese. Beige crackers are spread out like cards on a blackjack table.
7. ...all kinds of casseroles and bowls of fried chicken and a honey-baked ham and macaroni and cheese on the table, and all four burners had pots with steam bursting out of the tops of them. I saw squares of yellow cornbread and collard greens and sweet potatoes in chafing dishes.
8. ...two glass pitchers of lemonade and iced tea.
9. We both laughed, and I remember throwing a piece of French bread at him and missing. B. B. King—who still was very quick at the time—grabbed it in his mouth and took off. Carl was lucky I didn’t grab a handful of my delicious spaghetti and meatballs, or he’d have been covered in it!
10. ...candied yam.
11. ... fried chicken and collard greens. Lucky also had macaroni and cheese, which I passed on.
12. She then bit off a big piece of honey cornbread. “Neither one of us should even be in here,” I said as I looked down at my plate. The chicken was fried. I could see the ham in the collard greens. The candied yams had brown sugar and butter oozing out of them. And then there was my beautiful cornbread. Did I really need to eat all this?
13. ...double cheeseburger, some soft fries, a diet Coke, and three farewell Twizzlers.
14. “I made lasagna and a salad and as you can see, French bread and steamed asparagus.”
15. When I went to put my registration back inside the glove compartment, staring at me was a brand-new package of Twizzlers.
16. “I’ll have the pizza with ground beef, but with no beans, no sour cream, and no avocado.” “Anything else?” “I would like to try the fried ice cream.” “To drink?” “I’ll have a virgin margarita.” “What kind, sir?” “A normal one.” I winked at her, so she knew I wanted my regular: combination chicken tacos and chicken enchiladas with sour cream. All the combos come with beans and rice and I almost always end up taking something home. I ate guacamole and chips and Kwame drank what was really just lemonade...
17. I grabbed the tasteless granola, some raspberries, and low-fat milk...
18. ...string beans and that stuff with the scrambled eggs in it again?”
19. ...pot stickers and various types of chow fun
20. ...the white boxes that we knew were pot stickers and brown and white rice, and the fortune cookies, at least ten of them.
21. But I ordered a low-fat mocha latte with no sugar instead.
22. I just made a strong pot of Peet’s Sumatra and I baked a delicious apple pie for Joe.
23. I could hardly eat the stroganoff, which was terrible, and also because I had snuck a hamburger (not cheeseburger) with small fries before I came over...
24. “I got lasagna and sourdough bread, and a Caesar salad and asparagus for you...
25. Kwame lifted the wide lasagna noodles and let them fall back on top of the red meat sauce. Then he pulled on the cheese to form a string...
26. ...from about eight different salads, we chose four and a bowl of chunky homemade vegetable soup.
27. ...red miso short ribs, Thai chicken meatballs, and shredded jerk chicken floating in thick golden sauce...
28. We had to order the seasoned rice and bread. At checkout, we decided to get the salad and soup to go and bought two of those little round macaroon cookies that come from France. I ordered watermelon mint lemonade...
29. ....finest halibut for you along with baked sweet potatoes and a salad and brown rice.
30. I figured it wouldn’t hurt to have a drumstick and a wing on hand for a late-night snack.
31. ...last two kosher hot dogs and a few French fries and a half hour later, I scraped the vanilla out of the ice cream sandwich and put it on a saucer...
32. ...sweet potato pies, peach cobbler, bread pudding, and apple pies—
33. ...I sliced apples. I opened ten cans of peaches. I boiled sweet potatoes and mashed them with cinnamon, nutmeg, sugar, eggs, vanilla flavor, and a drop of bourbon. I made bread pudding that was so fluffy it almost floated out of the little baking dishes I bought. The peach juice boiled onto the aluminum foil I knew to put under the cobbler because it happens every year.
34. lobster tails with butter and baked potatoes with chives, sour cream, and butter and a salad and sourdough bread
35. I did not want to go out for cake and ice cream.
36. I was overdue for a cheeseburger and fries. I had been good. I could count how many I’d had since I got back from Las Vegas, which was almost two months ago: five. I could also count how many times I went to Carol’s and had their French toast with bacon: three.
37. ...once she had it, she would have to pretend fried chicken and candied yams and honey cornbread would kill her.
38. “Yes, I would like to have a double cheeseburger with a purple onion and a small order of fries.” “What kind of cheese would you like on that burger?” the voice said. “Cheddar. Oh, and can you also put pickles on it?” “You got it. Any of our delicious desserts strike your eye? Our apple pie is killer and our ice cream sundaes are made with the best chocolate syrup. And there’s a new flavor of ice cream to choose: strawberry cheesecake.”
39. ...two thick pieces of French toast with butter, drenched with maple syrup, two strips of bacon, a glass of orange juice, and a cup of coffee. With two packets of Splenda.
40. We’re having marinated rib-eyes, steamed brown rice, no bread, a salad with oil and vinegar, and sparkling water for me and Loretha, right, Lo?”
41. “And for dessert?” Sadie asked suspiciously. “Fruit salad. Take it or leave it.”
42. ...bought a slice of pepperoni pizza, a salad, a Diet Coke, and a chocolate chip cookie.
43. ...cottage cheese, scrambled eggs, a small piece of chicken breast, and a peach that she was already cutting.
44. I took a long sip of my detoxifying apple-cucumber-celery-spinach-cranberry-pomegranate drink, and then stared at my steel-cut oatmeal with no raisins and definitely no brown sugar.
45. ...that Hawaiian French toast with the rum-battered Kona-coffee whipped cream and pineapple marmalade
46. I ate an apple. And half of a whole wheat English muffin that I toasted and spread this stuff called ghee that Jonas told me to buy instead of butter. It tasted like butter but better. I wanted a glass of orange juice so bad
47. ...chocolate chip cookie or a juicy cheeseburger with fries and a vanilla shake.
48. ...did not put any sugar in my coffee but I did put in cream. I was starting to get used to it. And instead of eating French toast or pancakes topped with bananas and hot syrup or waffles with hot syrup or eggs and bacon with hash browns and toast with butter and jelly, I had plain yogurt with berries and whole wheat toast.
49. ...salad with a thousand different vegetables and cooked prawns and then chunks of chicken and oil and vinegar dressing. I did eat a breadstick.
50. ...baked chicken. Brown rice. A salad. Steamed vegetables. I passed on the sourdough bread and butter.
51. Jonas has made an amazing tofu stir-fry if you’d like to have dinner with us.” “No thanks.” “It’s also got ginger, carrots, string beans, and garlic, and a little soy sauce. You won’t even know it’s good for you.”
52. ...chipotle grilled pork tenderloin with strawberry-avocado salsa. And this is spicy brown rice. That’s spinach and onion couscous. Those are salmon fishcakes. And the salad is spinach, feta, and goat cheese.
53. ...triangle turkey sandwich...
54. ...eat the savory teriyaki beef I ordered along with a cup of hot water and lemon
55. purple sweet potato, almond milk, and ginger smoothies

EASY & Weird WEIGHT LOSS TIPS. oh my god I literally look like a pineapple so take my hair out now I'm too lazy for that hello everyone so in today's video I thought we could talk about weight loss because every girl woman person cares about the number on the scales and I was gonna come on here and share with you guys my own trials and tribulation and my own journey and weight loss and how I went from this to this and maintained it but I thought to myself that's been done before so instead I turn to Google I got old trusty friends and I tried to search up the most weirdest weight loss tips that I could find and in this video we are going to test them out together and see if they work hopefully after watching this video you go from flab to Victoria's Secret model you're welcome so with all that being said let's get into the tips tip number one got any cravings cons stop thinking about cookies cakes pizzas or in my case peanut butter oh my god I love peanut butter I've got a problem I can't keep it in the house but apparently and you can't keep this thing in the house and having it in the house can in fact help you all you have to do is not eat it and instead just open it up and sniff it currently science says by smelling the food it tricks your brain into thinking you're eating it so this is me testing it out I am really craving a cookie I wanna wanna cookie maybe if I just smell this vanilla scent nope that makes me want ice cream pickles not that makes me feel like a hamburger Vegemite yep that smells disgusting I'm no longer hungry the next tip I know a lot of us women blame our waistline on a slow metabolism it's my metabolism it's not the fact that I just ate three bowls of ice cream a bowl of cereal five sandwiches and a piece of pizza like it's not that at all it's the fact that I have a slow metabolism it's not my fault well apparently Google says that you can actually fasten up your metabolism by just taking a simple shower all you have to do is have a shower and in that shower you turn the heat up real real high and then you turn the temperature down real real low and repeat this four times over and continuously do this every single day for the rest of your life and bam you've got yourself a Fox metabolism it's hot then it's good fuck this shit I couldn't do this every single day for the rest of my life crazy people please don't try that at home it was so freakin painful now if you're anything like me you have an extremely terrible sweet tooth I try and fall asleep at night and the reason why I can only get four hours sleep is because my brain is just thinking about caramel tots chocolate donuts cupcakes muffins all the most amazing foods in the world constantly running through my brain when I'm trying to go to sleep google says to reduce your sweet tooth cravings all you have to do is buy a scented candle preferably vanilla scent it lighted and apparently your cravings are gone this is me testing that out I didn't realize but fire actually freakin burns and the flames go hard and it burns burns the Ring of Fire the Ring of Fire hmm honestly no this is distracting me from eating so Google might be on to something I honestly look like I'm sacrificing something to Satan right now well that one is a cookie it smells good though so something I learnt in school and actually not on Google was that the color red or warm colors in general actually increase your appetite all the huge fast food franchises are in red or yellow or orange well apparently if you wear cool colors preferably blue Europe appetite will do the opposite and it will decrease I was really curious to know if this one is accurate because it is technically science technically here is me giving it a go I'm craving a cookie I really badly want a cookie and not just any cookie an Oreo cookie it hurts honestly I think it's because I'm wearing the color red it's increasing my appetite I know what to do problem solved I have literally no cravings whatsoever I don't want a cookie yes I do I really badly want a cookie oh my gosh now I know all of us love to go on Instagram and look at the Instagram models and see pictures of their sake bulbs and their avocado on toast and their model shaped bodies while they're sitting in front of a huge bowl of pasta we all see it don't you laugh I promise door girls on Instagram in there how to health in this bitch if this and look like this like it don't make sense apparently it does actually help with weight loss if before you eat yet take a photo of your food honestly my food does not look that appetizing I tried this and this is what happened so the final tip is all about overeating you're stopping you're hungry you're like an animal and you're ready to consume a whole entire horse you open the fridge and all of a sudden you've just breathed in food apparently if you eat with chopsticks it will slow you down and make you savor your food and enjoy it more and eating slower will help your brain connect with your tummy and tell you when it's full and when to stop eating I won with the chopsticks you might ask can you eat anything and everything with chopsticks yes you can alright meal can you eat it with chopsticks BAM you can eat it with chopsticks salad can you eat it with chopsticks you can eat incredibly slow but with chopsticks an apple can you eat it with chopsticks yes you can you can eat it with chopsticks and mostly or is can you eat with chopsticks yes you can you can eat it with chopsticks already you say that is the end of this video I hope you enjoyed as low as god I love you long time and he's down I've never said that before on my channel okay ie like my shirt makes me gangsta you

How to Freeze Fruit and Vegetables
I have an admission making: up until about 9 months back, I had actually lived my entire grown-up life without a deep freezer. Oh sure, I had a fridge freezer area on my fridge, as well as there was a small, beer fridge-sized fridge freezer in my basement, yet no full-size deep freezer. That implied that with the quantity of cooking and also preparing I do, simply placing away groceries resembled playing Tetris, yet with colder hands as well as even more frustration.
I can tell you this: getting a deep freezer has actually transformed my life. I am currently able to purchase seasonal vegetables and fruits wholesale as well as freeze them for future usage. Exactly what a concept!
I've learned a few things in the process, so here is a guide to my favorite freezable vegetables and fruits:
Apples
Peel, core, as well as slice apples, and also brush with watered down lemon juice to stop browning. Freeze on a baking sheet before loading into a fridge freezer bag or closed container. Use in pies, collapses, and crisps.
Best if used within 4 months.
Helpful Hint: this is my preferred apple peeler, and it works to core as well as slice. It's fantastic if you are freezing huge amounts of apples.
Avocados
The elusive 'ripe stage' of the avocado can be recorded! Avocados are notorious for being completely ripe for just regarding a day prior to ending up being brownish as well as unappetizingly mushy. When the avocado is perfectly ripe, dig the flesh, then discard the pit and skin. Puree in a food cpu (or mash efficiently with a fork) along with one tbsp of lemon or lime juice. Freeze in a freezer bag or a closed container. Usage for guacamole, smoothies, or pasta sauce.
Best if made use of within 5-6 months.
Helpful Hint: label the container, indicating whether you used lemon or lime juice, so you can intend your recipe accordingly.
Bananas
Peel bananas as well as freeze them in freezer bags or airtight containers. The riper the banana, the much better it will certainly be for baked goods and shakes. When the banana defrosts, it will be very mushy and also liquidy - excellent for dishes that ask for mashed banana! Use in muffins, loaves, as well as even for ice cream!
Best if used within 8 months.
Helpful Hint: freeze bananas in teams, depending on what your favourite and many used recipes require. I save my bananas in groups of two or three. Don't forget to label as such!
Berries
When your much-loved berries are in period, stock up! Freeze blackberries, blueberries, and also raspberries on baking sheets, after that transfer to freezer bags or impermeable containers. Use in smoothies, pies, and also muffins.
Best if used within 6 months.
Helpful Hint: buying berries when they are extremely ripe as well as get on clearance at the grocery shop is really economical.
Corn
This is my mother-in-law's method: plunge corn on the cob right into boiling water for 3-5 minutes, then place immediately in cool water up until cool adequate to take care of. Trim the kernels with a sharp knife, as well as freeze on baking sheets before moving to a fridge freezer bag or airtight container.
Use corn in soups, chili, stew, or simply on its own. Ideal if utilized within 8 months.
Helpful Hint: for a smoky hit of flavour, grill corn on the cob, permit to cool, and afterwards trim the kernels prior to cold.
Leafy Greens
Blanch leafy greens such as kale, spinach, or Swiss chard prior to use. Plunge right into boiling water for one minute, then instantly position leafed environment-friendlies into ice cold water. Eject all the liquid before freezing. Make use of these environment-friendlies for soups, stews, or smoothies.
Best if used within 8 months.
Helpful Hint: place paled leafy environment-friendlies in the centre of a tea towel, wrap it up as well as press. Repeat this numerous times with dry tea towels to get all the liquid out for finest freezing outcomes.
Peppers
Core, seed, as well as remove the membrane layers from bell peppers. Slice right into bite-sized items and also freeze on a baking sheet prior to moving to a freezer bag or impermeable container. Use for soups, stews, and also stir-fries.
Best if used within 6 months.
Helpful Hint: frozen red peppers can be oven-roasted to earn your very own roasted red pepper, for dishes such as this and also this!
Pineapple
Using a sharp blade, cut off the top as well as base of the pineapple. Standing the pineapple upright, cut away the skin. Quarter the pineapple then trim the woody internal core, then slice the pineapple into one-inch dices. Freeze on a cookie sheet before transferring to a fridge freezer bag or impermeable container. Usage for shakes or homemade Dole Whip.
Best if used within 6-8 months.
Helpful Hint: when cutting pineapple, wear handwear covers to safeguard your hands from the pineapple's acidity.
Zucchini
Grate zucchini and also place in little freezer bags or closed containers. Usage grated zucchini in loaves, cakes, or for dips and sauces.
Best if used within 8 months.
Helpful Hint: freeze zucchini in quantities appropriate for your favourite or most-used dishes.
Don't neglect to classify your containers with the day that you have actually frozen them, and additionally the materials if you are utilizing opaque airtight containers. Pleased freezing!

Warm chocolate pouring over the famous Mile High Pie – Pontchartrain Hotel
The following morning, I woke up with a bit of a much-deserved headache. I think I was slightly hung over… most likely. After strolling the French Quarter the previous day, we stopped for a full dinner at Café Sbisa on Decatur Street. I had eaten some of my blackened fish accompanied by many full glasses of water. (As you may recall, I had had 3 drinks by lunch and it was enough for me.)
Where was I? Oh, right: the hang over. It wasn’t too bad; just a basic headache. I needed a coffee really bad. So, I popped down to the Silver Whistle Café located in the lobby of my hotel. I ordered my Americano, with an extra shot because I don’t know. Anyway, I stared at the array of freshly baked goods behind the glass: warm Southern biscuits, buttery croissants, bustling muffins, and more. I ordered a ‘croque monsieur’ to go – ham and cheese croissant sandwich – brought it to my room and scoffed it down like a ravaging beast. Immediately, the headache was gone! And I smiled from ear to ear.
It was Sunday morning. I had scheduled an elegant brunch at the famed Commander’s Palace in the Garden District. I donned my favorite navy blue sports jacket and even popped on a bowtie that I had just learned to tie a week prior. (Pat on my back.) Stepping out of my hotel, I crossed St. Charles Street and proceeded into the quaint streets of the Garden District. I walked down the streets of Prytania, First, and Coliseum, admiring the incredible houses that lined each. I found the former home of the celebrated author Anne Rice – known for her vampire and witch book series that are set in New Orleans; and one of the main reasons why I wanted to ever visit New Orleans in the first place. I don’t know who owns the house now, but I bet you they are annoyed by tourists like me.
I continued to waltz along, passing the home of Archie Manning – famous New Orleans Saints football player, and father of the famous Eli and Peyton Manning. I continued along looking for the former home of musician Trent Reznor, and inconspicuously sneaking a peek of movie star Sandra Bullock’s home. Eventually, I made it to the house that was once a boarding house where F. Scott Fitzgerald once stayed just after publishing This Side of Paradise – his first novel – and while still courting Zelda.
The stroll through the Garden District was lovely, but I was dying of heat in my heavy navy blue sports jacket. Eventually, I slid on over to the bright blue Commander’s Palace; the reason I was even dressed up so nicely on this darn hot day.
We were seated in the main room to experience the famous and classic New Orleans Jazz brunch. As we ate, the three-piece band – trumpeter/vocalist, bass, and banjo player – made its rounds from table to table singing by request.

We had a 3-course meal, starting with a yogurt and fresh local strawberries. My main course of choice was the cornmeal crusted catfish on top of sautéed crawfish tails, red beans and grits; accompanied by a thyme-infused cocktail. My brunch companion ordered eggs Benedict, but instead of ham, the eggs sat on top a pile of slow braised pulled-pork, which sat on top of a beautiful biscuit. The jazz band continued from table to table, in the main room and out to the courtyard and back, stopping at our table again during dessert. My dessert of choice was the pecan pie a la mode.
Soon after brunch, we hustled back to my hotel to change out of the heavy elegant attire, and into more comfortable heat appropriate garb. Our other friends met us at the hotel for an afternoon cocktail on the hotel’s popular rooftop bar, Hot Tin. The bar’s name was a nod to local author Tennessee Williams’ famous play Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Here, I had my second cocktail of the day: a pineapple upside-down daiquiri.
We collected ourselves and proceeded to tour the Garden District some more, starting with Lafayette Cemetery. After a short walk-through, the groundskeeper walked around with a megaphone and blow horn, warning all that the gates would be closing early. So, we hustled out and headed down to Magazine Street for more strolling. We stopped at the popular pastry shop Sucré for incredibly wonderful macaron; my favorites were Pineapple-Coconut and Bananas Foster.
Later, we had dinner at Coquette on Magazine Street – a locally sourced restaurant. The meal started with fried chicken and pickles. The rest of the meal included a garden salad, one of us had pasta with lamb neck Bolognese, and seafood stew. The meal was absolutely delicious and I recommend it to anyone that will be in the area. After a cheesecake type dessert, we went back to my hotel for a nightcap… and maybe an unintentional second dessert?
Back at the Bayou Bar – my favorite spot in my hotel – we ended the night with Chef John Besh’s revival of the Pontchartrain Hotel’s famous Mile High Pie. With it, we enjoyed cocktail experiments by the hotel bartender. When the pie arrived: Oh boy! Yes, a very tall, three-layer ice cream pie: chocolate, vanilla and strawberry, sitting on a thin chocolate cookie crust, and topped with a cloud of toasted meringue. The server placed the pie on the bar in front of us and proceeded to pour warm chocolate sauce all over it. I was too happy to feel guilty for ordering this second dessert.
