Now, let's talk about our favourite Rockstar scumbag.

A/N: This answer takes us into spoiler territory for my Icarus-series, which is still in the works. So if you prefer not to know anything about it, do stop here.

So, when we left Ev (or rather, when he left us) in WSI, he was not in a very good place, and the downward spiral - of which we saw the early stages during WSI - only continued from there.

There was a lot of rage in him and a lot of bitterness at (how he thought) the unfairness of the situation. If asked, he probably couldn't tell you much about that period of his life looking back, but when his life came crashing down around him after the events of the WSI final, Ev thankfully realised that things had to change drastically.

He found help in a rehab centre specialising in people standing in the spotlight and was thankfully able to complete his treatment. Having lots of time to think during that time, he returned to the world of music after a while with a reformed character and some pretty good songs to tell his story.

Okay so I listened to “It’s Time” (the Icarus inspired song from my first Fable album), and I’m actually really surprised with how well it lines up with Icarus’ arc throughout the entire series, but especially their finale.

Like the running lyric of “I don’t want to face my responsibility” or even it’s counterpart, “I don’t wanna face all of reality”, is just like- huh?? What?? Why does that actually fit so perfectly with the end of season 3 and the whole Icarus having to take up the mantle of Quixis thing??

And then, and then the whole “but it’s time” thing in the chorus. Like, I just imagined Icarus singing that to Rae at the end and I just cried a little.

Anyway Sherbert’s character design for Icarus was really cool and I have no idea how the song I wrote a year prior predicted the future, but um yeah. Yay! I think?

I used to be hardcore hyperfixated in Greek mythology when I was like 10 (very much thanks to Disney's Hercules LOL), and lately I've been both listening to Epic the Musical and bingewatching the Hercules Animated Series, which reignited my interest

wanted to just for funsies to design a Hercules universe version for Eos, the goddess of dawn!! She's a cheerful ditzy lady with "that overbearing but well meaning next door auntie" energy, who is VERY VERY forgetful at times (remember that myth about her asking Zeus to grant eternal life to her mortal husband, but forgetting to ask eternal youth for him as well, causing said husband to wither away into a grasshopper. Whoops)

Also she is cheerful and smiley, but she's sorta putting a "customer service face" on 24/7 and repressing her anger and negative feelings because she's expected to be the gentle, motherly dawn goddess all the time. Deep down, she wants to go feral and rip things into pieces FDKJFDJKFJ

During dusk, she is called Hespera and her color palette becomes darker in a cozy way :>
