Possibly Doing a "Begins" Series
So, I've kind of been obsessing over 9-1-1/9-1-1: Lone Star lately and think that it would be cool to do a "Begins" Series with characters from One Chicago and maybe The Resident, by using the information that we have gotten from the shows about them (after I finish all my other WIPs, but I actually wanna have them written ahead of time instead of writing as I go). I have an idea of how I want some of them to go, others are undecided as of right now and some I'm debating if I should do one for said character. But if you want to see a particular moment for a character that was canonically mentioned (ie Mouch and his dad sending letters when he was a child) let me know. (Also, the order of the characters listed have nothing to do with the potential order that they get done. The Chicago Shows are in the order of my character charts and The Resident Characters are in the order that I pulled their names from fandom Wiki).

Annie A New Musical 1977 Vinyl Record: $1.01
Jack Spade x Ian Hundley Washington Square Backpack: $7.52
Timbuk2 Distilled Collection Messenger: $2.52
While doing errands with the family today, we stopped by the thrift store. I lucked out and found these gems!
The Annie vinyl was such a fluke. I am sad that my dad misplaced his record player but I’ve put in a request for one if he happens upon one when he stops by estate sales. I already told him I want a REAL simple one. I am excited to be able to play my records. Is it bad that I want to start a collection? I think I may need to invest in one of these Really Useful Boxes Large vs Small.
The Jack Spade backpack was a no brainer. That beast retails for $298. I personally like its clean look. It’s funny. I was just thinking, “I would like to date or know the person that purchased this backpack.”
I also was drawn to the Timbuk2 messenger bag. I think it must retail $120 and upwards and I freaking got it for only $2.52. I giggled when I read the tag, “I wish I was a little bit taller.” Me too, bag. Me too.

CREATOR CLASH BOXING EVENT DEBUT MAKES HISTORY WITH SOLD OUT ARENA AND OVER 100K PAY-PER-VIEWS AND COUNTING

The SOLD OUT event saw some of the biggest digital creators going toe-to-toe for charity
TAMPA, FL (May 14, 2022) – In front of a raucous, sold out crowd at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida, and also online at Moment House, the next evolution in influencer boxing took place. Creator Clash, created and produced by iDubbbz, in collaboration with Real Good Touring and co-creator Mike Leanardi, hosted an exciting night of boxing with some of the biggest digital creators facing off in the squared circle in pseudo exhibition bouts.
In the night's main event, Ian "iDubbbz" Washburn took on Mike "Dr. Mike" Varshavski. The fight went the full five-round distance, with the judges awarding the fighting Doctor the victory with scores of 50-45 twice and 49-47.
At times, the sold out crowd of fans in attendance was earsplitting, hanging on to every punch each participant threw.
In the five-round heavyweight co-main event, Harley Morenstein of Epic Meal Time stepped in the ring against Arin Hanson of Game Grumps. After two dominant rounds in which he imposed his size on Hanson, Morenstein got the technical knockout victory.
Real estate agent and investor Graham Stephan faced off against YouTuber and professional Fortnite player Michael Reeves in a five-round lightweight match. In the second round, Reeves landed three or four straight hands in a row that backed up Stephan to the ropes forcing the referee to halt the bout. The fight was stopped at the 1:48 mark of the second round.
The cruiserweight proceedings carried on with Brett "Hundar" Hundley of Muscle Party fighting Ab "Starkilla" Ayad of the H3 Podcast. Both creators took their time getting to the action in one of the more tactical fights of the night. Hundley was able to get the stoppage victory in the fifth round after the referee stopped the fight with 50 seconds remaining.
The ladies took center stage with Haley "Yodeling Haley" Sharpe battling Justa Minx in a junior middleweight bout. Minx and Haley went to war, trading bombs in each round. In the fourth round, after some clean right hands were landed in a row from Minx, the referee stopped the fight with just 50 seconds left.
In a five-round cruiserweight bout, Austalia's Alex Apollonov of "I Did A Thing," took on The Odd 1s Out Robert James Rallison. Apollonov made quick work of Rallison as he ate a series of right hands and jabs. The fight was stopped at the 1:24 mark of the first round.
In the first of two heavyweight bouts, Internet Comment Etiquette's Erik Hoffstad fought San Francisco’s DJ Welch. The California native scored multiple knockdowns in the first and second rounds en route to scoring a technical knockout. At the end of round two, the fight was stopped at the 2:00 mark.
The cruiserweight action continued with Ryan Magee of comedy-duo SuperMega facing off against Alex Ernst. After a series of exchanges, Ernst landed a right hand that sent Magee down to the canvas in the fourth round. The bout went the full distance, with the judges awarding Ernst a unanimous decision victory.
Kicking off the clash of the creators was Matt Watson of SuperMega facing off against Nathan "Dad" Barnett in a five-round middleweight match. “Dad” wasted no time and immediately began throwing power punches landing nearly every punch he threw. After a minute of nonstop blows, the referee halted the bout in the first round.
The amount raised for charity, which included the American Heart Association, The Alzheimer's Association and the Healing Horse Therapy Center, was astounding thanks to ticket sales, and once calculated, will be announced at a later date.

What other quarterbacks could be traded now that Teddy Bridgewater is off the market?
Tumblr media
Teddy Bridgewater and Brett Hundley were traded Wednesday. Who’s next?
The New Orleans Saints and New York Jets changed up their depth charts at quarterback Thursday when Teddy Bridgewater was sent to the Bayou for a third-round pick. The swap came hours after the Seattle Seahawks landed Brett Hundley in a trade with the Green Bay Packers.
With a week until the 2018 regular season begins, those two deals probably won’t be the last involving quarterbacks.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, at least three other backup quarterbacks have generated some discussion among teams on the hunt for an additional passer.
The trade of #Packers QB Brett Hundley likely won’t be the last backup QB trade. Among the names being discussed by needy teams: #AZCardinals’ Mike Glennon, #Saints’ Tom Savage, #Steelers’ Josh Dobbs
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) August 29, 2018
So who’s the best of the group and which teams may be interested?
The candidates
Mike Glennon, Arizona Cardinals
A year ago, the Bears determined Glennon was worth a three-year, $45 million contract and then decided that was a mistake after watching him play four games. Now he’s in Arizona on a two-year, $8 million deal.
That seems a more appropriate salary after he finished the 2017 season with four touchdowns and five interceptions. But Glennon began his career with 19 touchdowns and nine interceptions as a rookie with the Buccaneers, and an argument could certainly be made that Chicago was a difficult situation for any quarterback.
He’s a relatively experienced backup with 22 starts under his belt, and he’s still just 28. With Sam Bradford and Josh Rosen locked into roster spots, there’s a good chance the Cardinals release Glennon if they can’t find a trade partner.
That means it would probably be really inexpensive — a conditional late-round selection, perhaps — to land Glennon.
Likelihood he’s moved: 5/10
Tom Savage, New Orleans Saints
The Texans slowly groomed their 2014 fourth-round pick and then handed him the reins in 2017, but that lasted all of two quarters. He was benched at halftime of Week 1 and Deshaun Watson took the mantle in Houston.
Savage got more starting experience in the latter half of the season after Watson’s year ended prematurely due to a knee injury. The Texans went just 1-6 during his seven starts, and he finished the year with five touchdowns and six interceptions.
He joined an underwhelming group of quarterbacks on the Saints’ depth chart behind Drew Brees, and looked like he was on his way to winning the No. 2 role. But the addition of Teddy Bridgewater means he’s almost definitely not going to make the roster, especially with quarterback Taysom Hill adding value on special teams.
With so little success in his past and no reason to think he won’t hit the waiver wire during final roster cuts, the Saints’ only chance at a trade is if a team is looking to skip the queue with a cheap trade offer. That seems unlikely.
Likelihood he’s moved: 2/10
Joshua Dobbs, Pittsburgh Steelers
Unlike Glennon and Savage, Dobbs hasn’t seen the field during the regular season. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, because there’s an intrigue that comes with mystery. A year ago, Brett Hundley was considered one of the NFL’s most promising young backups and a potential trade target for teams desperate for a last-second starter. Then he played and changed minds.
Dobbs hasn’t had a chance to prove he’s a worthwhile NFL quarterback, but he hasn’t shown that he’s worthless either.
In preseason this year, he’s completed 21 of 31 passes for 283 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions.
The bigger question is whether the Steelers want to move on from a player they just picked in the fourth round in 2017. If they do move forward without Dobbs, it means they’re more confident in 2018 third-round pick Mason Rudolph as a piece for the future. There’s also Landry Jones, the team’s long-time backup who made five starts in his first five seasons with the team.
Someone is going to be the odd man out and Dobbs is the logical choice.
Likelihood he’s moved: 6/10
Robert Griffin III, Baltimore Ravens
After spending the entire 2017 season as a free agent, Griffin got another shot with the Ravens and he’s made the most of it. In preseason, he’s completed 66.7 percent of his passes for 185 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions. He’s also added 45 rushing yards.
At times this August, he’s looked like the player who electrified the league as a rookie in 2012. But with Joe Flacco entrenched as the starter and Lamar Jackson being groomed as the Ravens’ starter of the future, Griffin is third on the totem pole.
If Baltimore doesn’t think Jackson is ready to start in the case that Flacco goes down, it may be wise to keep a third quarterback. There aren’t many teams that keep three passers on the active roster, though, and the Ravens may jump at the chance to move Griffin if an offer comes along.
Likelihood he’s moved: 3/10
AJ McCarron, Buffalo Bills
The former Bengals backup was signed by the Bills to a two-year deal in March that made him the presumptive starter with Nathan Peterman as the only other quarterback on the roster.
Even after Buffalo drafted Josh Allen with the No. 7 pick, McCarron seemed to have the clearest path to a Week 1 start. Then preseason happened and McCarron’s chances at the starting job kind of went out the window.
He hasn’t been awful, completing 10 of his 16 passes for 128 yards, but he’s been clearly outplayed by Peterman and Allen who have led the Bills offense to points. With little experience between Peterman and Allen, there’s a good chance Buffalo would prefer to keep the veteran, but if there’s any player from the trio who would be the odd man out, it’s McCarron.
Likelihood he’s moved: 2/10
The potential buyers
Carolina Panthers
Cam Newton has been an indestructible tank for most of his NFL career. Even back-breaking car crashes don’t do much to slow him down.
But if the Panthers lose Newton for any time in 2018, Garrett Gilbert is currently the one second on the depth chart with Taylor Heinicke at No. 3. Gilbert is on his fifth roster in as many seasons and has never seen regular season action, while Heinicke is on his fourth roster in four seasons. If the Panthers has to turn to either, the season is probably over.
It’d make perfect sense for Carolina to find a player with some starting experience, or at least a little more promise, to slot in behind Newton.
Likelihood they make a trade: 5/10
Denver Broncos
The Paxton Lynch project was a failure, but there’s reason to be optimistic about Chad Kelly. Mr. Irrelevant 2017 has been a pleasant surprise in preseason and has, at times, looked like a capable backup for Case Keenum.
But if the Broncos move on from Lynch at the end of preseason and John Elway isn’t convinced that the team couldn’t use a veteran presence, Denver could be in the market for a little help.
Likelihood they make a trade: 1/10
Detroit Lions
The duo of Matt Cassel and Jake Rudock looked like a decent pair of players to compete for the backup spot in Detroit, but neither have impressed in August. Neither are threats to complete deep passes and that means the Lions offense would be doomed if Matthew Stafford can’t play the entire year.
Stafford recently spoke to reporters about how helpful it is to have a knowledgable backup who can help him watching tape. That may be what saves Cassel’s job in Detroit, but it wouldn’t be surprising if the Lions are on the hunt for an upgrade.
Likelihood they make a trade: 2/10
Houston Texans
For the first time in a long time — maybe ever? — the Texans have reason to believe they have a young quarterback on a path toward becoming one of the NFL’s elite.
But when Houston lost Watson for the year to an ACL tear in 2017 the team circled the drain without a capable quarterback ready to take over. Adding Brandon Weeden to the roster is better than the team’s 2017 options of Tom Savage and T.J. Yates, but it’s not the most inspiring backup quarterback situation either.
Considering Savage is among the best options on the market, the Texans don’t have the best list of options, though. Weeden may be as good as it gets.
Likelihood they make a trade: 2/10
Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins need Ryan Tannehill to finally live up to his top 10 draft status and, so far, his preseason hasn’t given a clear indication that he’s ready to make that jump. But if his surgically-repaired knee isn’t able to make it through a 16-game season, it’s David Fales and Brock Osweiler currently splitting the No. 2 spot on the depth chart.
There’s one more preseason game to shake out that backup quarterback battle, but neither are the most promising option.
Fales is in his fifth season and has seen action in just three games, while Osweiler’s failures in the last two seasons have been on very public display. But like Weeden in Houston, the options on the market may not be much better for the Dolphins than Osweiler.
Likelihood they make a trade: 3/10
Oakland Raiders
The Raiders didn’t need to make too many changes at quarterback this offseason with Derek Carr, Connor Cook, and EJ Manuel all returning. But preseason hasn’t helped coach Jon Gruden decide who’s going to back up Carr.
After another unimpressive preseason showing, Gruden was asked if he even has the backup quarterback on the roster at this point.
“I don’t know,” Gruden said, via NFL.com. “You know, we’re going to continue to work, continue to see who’s available. I thought there were some good moments tonight and there were some moments tonight that weren’t good. It’s been too inconsistent but I’m not going to say much more tonight until I see the tape, but we’re going to continue to evaluate it.”
It’s been a weird offseason for the Raiders, but finding a more reliable backup for Carr wouldn’t be an odd decision.
Likelihood they make a trade: 5/10

There’s no reason to think that they can’t make another trip to the World Series.
2. Arizona Diamondbacks
If their pitching staff can take another step in the right direction, they could contend for the NL West.

They have possibly the best lineup in the National League and that will keep them in Wild Card contention.
4. San Francisco Giants
With all of their offseason moves to fix their lineup, they hope that will keep them out of the cellar.

By adding Eric Hosmer to a young roster, the Friars hope they can create some magic that Hosmer experienced with the Royals.

For the art song anon: If it's accepted at MT auditions to do art songs, Hundley IS one of the right composers to pick. I'd also recommend William Bolcom and Ricky Ian Gordon.

Major League Baseball roundup: Mariners sweep Royals
Canadian left-hander James Paxton pitched eight scoreless innings on Canada Day as the host Seattle Mariners defeated the Kansas City Royals 1-0 Sunday, completing a sweep of the three-game series.

The Mariners won their season-high seventh consecutive game.
Edwin Diaz struck out the side in the ninth inning for his major-league-leading 32nd save of the season. The Mariners are 39-0 this season when Diaz enters the game with a lead, including 21-0 when he’s summoned with a one-run lead.
Paxton (8-2) allowed only two hits and two walks while striking out 11. It was the seventh time in 18 starts this season that Paxton has posted a double-digit strikeout total.
Giants 9, Diamondbacks 6
Brandon Belt and Joe Panik each had two hits and drove in two runs and San Francisco pounded out 16 hits for a victory over Arizona to complete a three-game sweep in Phoenix.
Nick Hundley had three hits and an RBI, Brandon Crawford and Austin Slater had two hits and an RBI, and Hunter Pence had a two-run double for San Francisco, which has won three in a row and 10 of 12.
Paul Goldschmidt hit a two-run homer and Jarrod Dyson had two singles, two stolen bases and two RBIs for Arizona, which was swept at home for only the second time this season. The Diamondbacks have lost three in a row after winning seven of eight.
Yankees 11, Red Sox 1
Aaron Hicks hit three homers as New York rolled to a rout of Boston at Yankee Stadium.
Hicks hit two of New York’s six homers off David Price (9-6) while batting from the right side of the plate, a two-run homer in the second and a solo drive in the fourth. The switch-hitting center field added his third homer in the eighth off Hector Velazquez while batting left-handed.
It was New York’s first three-homer game by one player since Alex Rodriguez on July 25, 2015, at Minnesota.
Pirates 7, Padres 5
Colin Moran’s second grand slam of the season was one of three homers allowed by Tyson Ross as Pittsburgh won the rubber match of a three-game series at San Diego.
Corey Dickerson and Elias Diaz also homered for the Pirates, while Hunter Renfroe homered for the Padres in a 3 1/2-hour marathon that numbered 13 pitchers, 18 hits, 10 walks, five mound visits, 16 stranded runners and two errors.
Reliever Kyle Crick (1-1) was credited with the win for the Pirates. Felipe Vazquez was credited with his 17th save.
Indians 15, A’s 3
Cleveland’s offense vented two days’ worth of frustration, producing 15 runs and 20 hits in a sweep-preventing victory at Oakland, Calif., that snapped the Athletics’ six-game winning streak.
After being held to a total of three runs in narrow losses during the first two games of the series, the Indians got home runs from Francisco Lindor and Edwin Encarnacion in the seventh inning before blowing the game open with an eight-run eighth in which the first 10 batters reached base safely.

In the eighth, Michael Brantley had a two-run single and Lonnie Chisenhall had two hits, including a two-run double. The Indians tagged Oakland relievers Chris Hatcher and Josh Lucas for seven hits in the frame while also collecting two walks and a hit baseman.
Dodgers 6, Rockies 4
Matt Kemp had four RBIs, including a go-ahead home run in the eighth inning, as Los Angeles rallied for a victory over visiting Colorado.
Yasiel Puig added an insurance run in the eighth when he scored from second base on an infield single by Joc Pederson, who had three hits.
Nolan Arenado had a home run and two RBIs for the Rockies. The homer to center was Arenado’s National League-leading 21st of the season and his eighth in his past 12 games.
White Sox 10, Rangers 5
Jose Abreu went 2-for-3 with a triple and matched a season high with three RBIs, and Chicago earned a win in Arlington, Texas.
Avisail Garcia had four hits and scored three runs, and Matt Davidson added three hits and three RBIs as the White Sox avoided a three-game sweep. Chicago won for only the 13th time in 40 road games this season.
Rougned Odor went 3-for-3 with two walks, two runs scored and an RBI to lead the Rangers. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Texas, which has won 11 of 14.
Cubs 11, Twins 10
Jon Lester homered and won his seventh consecutive start, and Ian Happ homered and had three hits as Chicago completed a three-game sweep of visiting Minnesota.
It was the fourth straight game in which Chicago scored 10 or more runs, the first time since 1930 that the Cubs have accomplished that feat. Chicago, which has also won four in a row, scored 35 runs and belted out 46 hits in the three-game sweep of Minnesota, which lost for the ninth time in 11 games.
Lester (11-2) moved into the National League lead in wins. He left after five innings, having allowed four runs (two earned). Lester smashed a three-run shot in the second inning, with his second career homer giving the Cubs a 3-1 lead and highlighting an eight-run inning for Chicago.
Braves 6, Cardinals 5
Freddie Freeman hit his 16th homer to highlight a five-run rally that propelled Atlanta to a win at St. Louis and a sweep of a three-game series.
After Ozzie Albies opened the sixth inning with a single to extend his hitting streak to 11 games, Freeman connected against John Gant (2-3) for a two-run shot to center field. The Braves went on to get RBIs from Charlie Culberson, Dansby Swanson and pinch-hitter Ryan Flaherty.
It was the first three-game sweep for Atlanta in St. Louis since 2012. Braves starter Mike Foltynewicz (6-4) pitched five scoreless innings and allowed only one hit and three walks. He struck out nine.
Phillies 4, Nationals 3 (13 innings)
Pinch hitter Andrew Knapp hit a game-winning solo home run with one out in the bottom of the 13th inning, and Philadelphia rallied to knock off visiting Washington.
Knapp hit his third home run of the season on a full-count fastball from Washington’s Justin Miller, helping the Phillies take three of four from the Nationals.

The Nationals, who were held scoreless over the final eight innings, have lost five of their past six games.
Reds 8, Brewers 2
Matt Harvey threw 5 2/3 scoreless innings before rain cut his outing short, and Jose Peraza hit a grand slam as Cincinnati beat visiting Milwaukee.
Peraza hit the slam off rookie right-hander Aaron Wilkerson, just recalled from Triple-A Colorado Springs, to cap a five-run sixth inning. It was Peraza’s fifth home run of the season and his third in his past five games.
Harvey (4-5) gave up two hits, didn’t walk a batter and matched a season high with six strikeouts.
Rays 3, Astros 2
Matt Duffy deposited a two-run single down the right field line in the seventh inning, and Tampa Bay rallied for a victory over Houston in St. Petersburg, Fla.
Duffy hit a two-out, two-strike bloop hit, driving home Adeiny Hechavarria and Joey Wendle to erase a 1-0 deficit. Hechavarria scored with ease from second base, but Wendle crossing home from first was a surprising byproduct of Astros right fielder Josh Reddick inexplicably holding the ball in foul territory, apparently unaware that Wendle was on base.
Astros starter Charlie Morton (10-2) allowed six hits and issued two walks over 6 2/3 innings while striking out 11. The rally made a winner of Blake Snell (11-4), who allowed one run on four hits and one walk with 10 strikeouts over 7 1/3 innings.
Mets 5, Marlins 2
Steven Matz and three relievers combined on a four-hitter as New York overcame three errors and recorded a victory at Miami.
The Mets reached the halfway point at 33-48. It is their worst record through 81 games in a non-strike season since losing 103 games in 1993. New York also won for only the second time in 12 games, the sixth time in 29 games and improved to 16-39 since April.
Matz (4-5) allowed an unearned run on three hits in 5 1/3 innings. He lowered his road ERA to 2.25, third in the National League.
Tigers 9, Blue Jays 1
Nicholas Castellanos hit a grand slam, Jordan Zimmermann pitched seven strong innings, and Detroit ended an 11-game losing streak with a victory at Toronto.
Castellanos capped a five-run fifth inning with his fourth career grand slam and 13th homer of the season against J.A. Happ. His heroics give the Tigers a chance to gain a split in the four-game series when the teams play the series finale on Monday afternoon.
JaCoby Jones hit his sixth homer of the season for the Tigers, a two-run shot in the ninth against Preston Guilmet.
Orioles 8, Angels 2
Mark Trumbo homered twice to lead a four-homer attack, and Kevin Gausman threw eight innings as Baltimore snapped a seven-game losing streak with a victory over visiting Los Angeles.
Trumbo has seven homers in his last 14 games. Manny Machado and Trey Mancini also went deep for the Orioles.
Gausman (4-6) gave up two runs on six hits with no walks and two strikeouts.
