Some time after his talk with Daniel, Ian was feeling better about their friendship.  He didn’t feel like he needed to pull away out of necessity anymore at least, and he made himself follow his own urge to text him and meet up when he wanted to.  He’d come to tell himself if Daniel didn’t want to hang out or not text him back, then he had the option on his own of not doing so.

He didn’t feel very good about his friendship with Ryder, though; having given them the same weird cold shoulder for months.  And Ian had realized late one evening while unable to sleep, that if Daniel had noticed he’d been pulling away and felt sad about it, then Ryder probably did, too.  If that were the case, then he didn’t want to make Ryder sad anymore.  That was the last thing he wanted out of all of this.  The thought of potentially having another conversation like the one with Daniel made his stomach churn uncontrollably, but the thought of no longer being friends with Ryder hurt even more.

The next evening, Ian headed to the medbay when he knew their shift was about to end, so that he knew where they would be.  The other medics were obviously still around as he entered, and he gave a cheerful enough smile to them on his way to the hybrid’s station.  “Hey, Ryder,” Ian greeted, then in a quieter tone he continued, unthinkingly fidgeting with his hands.  “Um, I was wondering…could I talk to you about something?"

I love them so much y’all don’t even understand every couple of years decades really there’s a couple or on screen ship that’s so insanely good with palpable chemistry and sexual tension that my brain chemistry gets altered in way that’s not for the sane people the serotonin and buzz be so strong no dr*yg could ever make me feel that way! that even tho logically I’m my mind I know it’s just acting and they are doing their job incredibly annoyingly well I still believe it with all my heart that they are in fact dating and are happy and aren’t just saying anything because they don’t wanna let people in on their life which is fair I know it’s wrong and silly and just very dvmb bc it’s just acting very very phenomenal brilliant acting but damn and 80% of the time they were or ended up as couple later on sure few weren’t and didn’t but it all started with JD/WR BP/AJ Sandra x Keanu, Jake x Anne Kiera x James(James with anyone really Christina Anne) Anne Kiera with anyone too, Margot x Will, Ian x Nina, Sophia x Austin, Ryan x Sarah (this one hurts still bc wdym they dated longer then they was alive on the show?) sometimes the actors be doing not even a bit to much but wayyy over the board to much actually, Nicole x Micheal then came stonefiled then came Haesoo jisoo x haein and now we are here in this dilemma that should get into a psych ward next to the riddler joker and penguin with lukenewton and nicolacoughlan they are the worst too

I fight with my mind constantly telling myself it’s just acting then I be like really is it? Is it really just acting that kinda of unhinged chemistry brilliance cant just be acting it’s to much to be acting only😂! be careful the brain plays tricks on you and so the actors bc to them it’s just a job while to others(me) it’s a straight jacket signs and mental illness signs! Clear sign of breakdown

By the time the crew touches down on Kor'Sel'Koo on 3/22/24, all of the messages have been sorted and provided and we pick up a new crew member: Mari, a quirky mate who is 4'6" of apparently pure enthusiasm.

The crew doesn't immediately settle down, as there are messages to read and Gilmore Gilrs to figure out.

Muzzain, the far'ly'dae one who ordered all of that Gilmore Girls merchandise, is staying temporarily in Wuunzek, a smallish city about an hour (by underground tunnel train) from Twarvu.

Wuunzek includes a variety of amenities, including Yggld Bars, the Inspired By Earth Waterpark (it's got a lazy river, a waterslide, and a wave pool), an enormous vitamin store aimed at Ly'Daesun called Yonrur, and more.

Wuunzek Population: 89% Far’Ly’Dae, 9% Erkuss, 1% Vanneer, 1% Carrek.

The process of getting the Gilmore Girls merchandise to the right place now will be... annoying because most of it actually needs to go to Twarvu. While it would normally take an hour and a half, the crew will probably take a full 24 hours to get their surreptiously.

Favourite thing you’ve created (or seen created) for the fandom? It's so hard to pick a favorite fic! (Weirdly though, I can pick a least favorite) I think my favorite is going to be my current WIP. And this art!

Why is it your favourite? Because its the most emotionally complex and cohesive!

Did it come easily or was it hard to create? A labor of love is never in vain, I've always loved getting tiny knots out of necklaces etc. just digging in and understanding the knot to resolve it, that's how writing feels for me, the hard parts are fun and it makes them easier idk if that makes sense

Biggest WIP heartache you’ve ever experienced? Listen, I've been in this game for 10 years across fandoms and I realized early on that I am not willing to put myself through WIP heartbreak so i almost exclusively read completed works. no hate, im just sensitive

Favorite trope or head cannon you like included in a fanfic? I just love fics that really embrace how insane they are about being soulmates, both in a big way and in a bunch of tiny funny ways

Least favourite? Idk, theres probably a lot of specific things but it just boils down to is the vibe is off or they're too ooc, also galladads sorry

Secret or surprising kink or trope? genuinely cant think of anything secret or surprising

Describe how you feel after you’ve created something new? Like I ran a marathon or deep cleaned an entire house, also like winona ryder it the last scene of the heathers, accomplishment, satisfaction and pride but tired

Top hype man you have that always helps you get across the finish line: No one specific, writing is a very solitary process for me I guess. Everyone on the discord server who sprints with me helps a lot! I've been thinking about asking if anyone would be willing to beta read for me
