The Empty Box

Ever tried holding off thoughts? Focusing your head to stay blank with no exchange of thoughts. To be literal, achieving an emptiness. I fail to do it when I think of not thinking. May be you too. I think of not having any thoughts in my brain and suddenly the flush of things, people, incidents, memories, food, what not sets in. We think exactly what we think about. This seems bizarre to me, Our neurological reactions are such complex and hard wired; they seem to affect our whole system, So what you think, you feel, you behave, it becomes your system, it becomes you. We keep belittling these small emotions, these thoughts but they condition everything about us, our responses to the world, how we see ourselves and how we see others and the relationships we hold with them. Interesting! May be some of you have this thing, of not having any thoughts. You would be like, yup my head is empty, clean. I am having no thoughts as of now. Really? am trying right now. Tried for two minutes. I was staring at everything in my office, not made a single opinion of the visuals.A blank stare it was….nothing came in. But I had this backdrop of no thoughts, no thoughts now, later babe later…
