Sept. 2023 Apple iPhone Event
This year we are expecting the biggest change of all to be the transition from the Lightning port to USB-C ports on all iPhones and some iPhone accessories. The Pro models will see thinner bezels, a titanium frame, and the replacement of the mute switch for a new action button.
Let’s get started!!
Starters
Starting off with a typical video showcasing how Apple’s hardware improves lives, health and people’s connection to each other
Showing actual stories of people who’s lives have been saved by Apple Watch and iPhone features
Bets they show the people saved by the satellite feature during the Maui fires?
And right over to Tim Cook who confirms this event will revolve around iPhone and Apple Watch
Oh but first we’re starting with…
The Mac?
Recapping the introduction of 15" MacBook Air and Mac Pro earlier this year
macOS Sonoma launching on 9/26
Oh also mentioning the Vision Pro which still doesn’t have a launch date other than early next year
And that’s it I guess for Mac? Random.
Apple Watch
OH ITS pink
Oh HAND GESTURES TO CONTROL IT
SERIES 9
New S9 chip with faster CPU and GPU (this is the first actual big chip upgrade for the Watch since the Series 6)
Still sticking to 18 hours of battery life
Siri now processes requests on the Watch instead of relying on the Phone
Siri can also reference your health data for you on the Watch. Think “Siri, how long did I sleep last night?”
(Also reminder that Apple is removing the “hey” in “hey, siri”)
Watch can now more precisely tell you where your iPhone is using a new ultra wide band chip
Media suggestions pop up on the Watch when you approach a Homepod
Display is 2x as bright as the Series 8 and can get even darker for when you’re in environments like a theater
Double Tap
Series 9 can now recognize hand gestures to control the watch
Double-Tap controls the main button in apps. You can double tap your fingers together to answer or end a call. Scroll through widgets. Snooze an alarm.
It sounds like a small feature but actually expands the amount of time you can use the watch exponentially
Double-tap available next month
Series 9 Aluminum available in Pink, Starlight, Midnight, Silver and Product Red
Stainless Steel available in Gold, Silver, and Grahite
Starts at $399 for Aluminum model
Pre-Order starts Today, Available on 9/22
Environmentality
Environmental goals updatge. Starting with a cute video of Mother nature, played by the wonderful Octavia Spencer, visiting Apple Park and everyone (including Tim Cook) being very nervous.
Apple states they’re eliminating all plastic in their packaging by the end of next year.
No more leather in iPhone cases
Operating on 100% clean electricity in offices, data centers and stores
Y’all should watch this video once its uploaded just because the acting by Octavia is hilarious (2030 Status | Mother Nature | Apple - YouTube)
Net zero climate impact from Apple by 2030
Tim Cook and Octavia Spencer staring each other down for 30 seconds was not on my bingo card for today
Sport Loop is now 80% recycled materials
Apple will match 100% expected energy use of Series 9 with investments in clean energy projects
Series 9 packaging is 100& fiber based and smaller packaging so they can ship more with less effort
Claiming the Series 9 is apple’s first “carbon neutral” product
Apple no longer using leather in ANY of their products, starting today
New material called FineWoven that feels “suede-like”
Even Hermes is launching new environmentally friendly bands
Apple Watch Ultra 2
Also getting Double Tap feature
Display now goes up to 3000 nits, 1000 more than the Series 9
Very minor improvements across the board for this one
I think they mainly just needed to add the new chip and call it a day
Ultra 2 is 95% recycled titanium
Ultra 2 starts at $799
Pre-Orders available today; Available 9/22
All new models are carbon neutral depending on what band you get
iPhone 15
Dynamic Island makes its debut on the base model
6.1 and 6.7” OLED displays
Display can go up to 1600 nits of brightness for HDR Photos and videos, or 2000 nits in direct sunlight
Available in pink, yellow, green, blue and black
Now has c urved aluminm edges instead of the sharp edges of the 13 & 14 models
Has “ceramic shield” which is tougher than any smartphone glass so its built to last longer
100% recycled cobalt in the battery
They haven’t shown the bottom yet… it’d be hilarious if they just don’t tell people about the change in charging port
iPhone 15 Camera
New camera is 48mp. This was previously limited to the pro models last year.
Depending on the mode, it will be adjusted to 24mp
Pixels also allow for a 2x telephoto optical zoom option with 12mp resolution
Portrait mode getting improved colors and better performance in low light
If the camera detects a person or animal, it’ll automatically capture the data for a portrait photo without you switching modes. You can choose to make the photo portrait later on.
You can also switch the portrait photos subject after the photo is taken
Improved Night Mode & Smart HDR as well
iPhone 15 is getting the A16 chip, the chip used in last year’s iPhone 14 Pro; but with only 2 cores instead of last year’s 4 for the Pro
Battery size increased from last year but no specifics
OH TIME TO TALK ABOUT “CONNECTIVITY”
2nd Gen Ultra Wideband chip so it can connect to other devices that are farther away and make it easier to find your friends in crowded places
Better noise cancellation on phone calls so your voice stands out
Emergency SOS Satellite now available in 16 countries
Now adding Roadside Assistance via Satellite, partnering with AAA; free for AAA members
TIME TO TALK CABLES hehehehehe
Confirmed: iPhone 15 has USB-C
Earpods and AirPods Pro 2 also updated with USB-C
Confirming FineWoven iPhone and AirTag cases going on sale now to replace Leather accessories
iPhone 15 starts at $799; 15 Plus starts at $899
Pre-Orders start Friday 9/15; Available on 9/22
iPhone 15 Pro
iPhone 15 Pro now made out of titanium and Action button also confirmed
Lol “the most pro iphone we’ve ever created”
Titanium means these are the lightest pro models ever
New countoured edges and thinnest borders of an iPhone
Dimensions of phone smaller with the same display sizes as the 14 Pro models
“Toughest glass based materials in the industry”
Available in white, black, blue and “natural”
New architecture inside makes the device more repairable
Action Button
Still ring/silent switch by default but you can reprogram it to do things like open the camera, turn on the flashlight, start voice memos, etc.
A17 Pro Chip
The first 3nm chip in the industry
First iphone with USB-C speeds of 10gbps
They can do ray tracing on a phone now…
Kinda crazy to me how they always talk about how good gaming is on a battery driven iphone chip and they’ve made absolutely zero push to make gaming a bigger feature of the Apple TV
iPhone 15 Pro Camera
Camera time babbbyyyyy
Bigger 48 MP sensor to enable better low light performance
“equivalent of 7 camera lenses in your pocket”
Reduced lens flare (finally)
You can now choose a default lens size, including 24 mm, 28 mm and 35 mm focal lengths
2x better low light performance
Nightmode and Smart HDR seeing big improvements
15 Pro Max now gets 5x optical zoom; regular 15 Pro still at 3x optical zoom
Periscope lens utilized for the first time in Pro Plus to achieve that better zoom
USB-C allows faster transfer speeds and the ability to shoot video directly to an external device
The 15 Pro can record spatial video that you can then view only on your Apple Vision Pro… lol
New 6TB and 12TB iCloud plans announced to store more high quality photos and videos (at $29.99 and $59.99 per month, respectively)
iPhone 15 Pro starts at $999 for 128gb
iPhone 15 Pro Max starts at $1199 for 256gb
Pre-Orders start on Friday; Available on 9/22
Takeaways
That's a wrap on this event and rumors are saying it was Apple's last one of the year! If they do have anything else in store (there's a possible iPad Air refresh in the works or more devices with USB-C) it'll most likely just be done via press release.
For those following the rumor mill, there wasn't much surprising in this event except for maybe some of the camera specs. But if you're reading this you probably heard it all for the first time.
So now the question is, is upgrading worth it?
If you have any of last year's phones or watches my answer is short and sweet: No.
If you have older devices, the answer gets murkier. The iPhone 13 line from 2021 still holds up well against this lineup, but chances are you're noticing your battery doesn't hold up as long as it used to. The watch upgrades this year could be significant too depending on how old your model is.
Also chances are, there are no features on the Pro models of the iPhone or the Watch Ultra that you need. If you want to save money, chances are you won't notice much of a difference other than slightly better battery and display. A normal iPhone 15 model will last you a few years if you take care of it
Personally, I will not follow my own advice and will be upgrading my phone. I do it every year so please don't think this is anything special. I'll be getting the iPhone Pro Max in Blue with the base 256gb storage.
The watch is less of a sure fire thing. I think people tend to believe that I upgrade all of my Apple products often but the reality is I only splurge on a phone upgrade every year. My Watch is a Series 5 from 2019, my iPad is a 2018 iPad Pro and my laptop is a 2012 15" Retina Macbook Pro.
Four year seems like a decent amount of time between upgrades though and my watch's battery doesn't last as long as it used to so we'll see. If I do upgrade, it'll be the smaller silver stainless steel model.
OK. I think that's all. Let me know what questions or comments you have. Interested to see everyone's thoughts this year!!

Introduction Alright, so here we are again — another year, another iPhone! But hey, this isn't just any iPhone, it's the iPhone 16. Whether you're a tech enthusiast or just a casual phone user, the buzz around the Apple iPhone 16 is real. So, if you’ve been typing "when is the iPhone 16 coming out" into Google nonstop, keep reading 'cause we’re diving deep into everything this new model brings to the table. Product Overview Apple has never failed to stir the pot with its iPhone releases, and the iPhone 16 is no exception. Officially unveiled just last week, the iPhone 16 release date is Pre-orders kick off this Friday, September 13, and the new iPhones are hitting the shelves on September 20. — mark your calendars! This model looks to blend the sleek design Apple is known for with some serious under-the-hood improvements. Think bigger battery, enhanced camera, and (finally!) that USB-C port we’ve all been begging for. Apple, you’ve been listening! Design & Display Apple’s known for keeping things sleek and stylish, and the iPhone 16 doesn’t stray far from that playbook. The design isn’t a massive overhaul from the iPhone 15, but some nice tweaks make it feel fresh. Here’s what’s up with the latest design and display changes: Design Highlights: Slimmer Bezels: Apple shaved down the bezels just a tad, giving the screen a bit more room to breathe without messing with the overall size of the phone. It’s subtle, but it makes the display pop a little more. New Colors: We’ve got some fresh hues this time around. Alongside your standard black and white, the iPhone 16 introduces a deep forest green and a pastel blue that catches a lot of eyes. Slightly Thicker: To pack in a bigger battery, the phone’s a hair thicker, but honestly, unless you’re measuring with a ruler, you probably won’t even notice. Display Upgrades: Bigger OLED Screen: Apple bumped up the display size just a bit, and the OLED screen is as vibrant as ever. Blacks are inky, colors are super vivid, and the overall brightness is off the charts, especially in direct sunlight. Perfect for those endless Instagram scrolls or Netflix consumes excessively. 120Hz ProMotion Display: Still buttery smooth with that 120Hz refresh rate. Scrolling feels like slicing through the air, and animations are silky. It's great for gamers and anyone picky about screen performance. Dynamic Island 2.0: The Dynamic Island is back; this time, it has a few more tricks up its sleeve. Notifications, music controls, and even some third-party app integrations make it feel more like a feature rather than just a gimmick. The Notch: Yep, it’s still there. Apple isn’t giving it up just yet, but it’s slightly smaller, so that’s a win. Kind of. Overall, the iPhone 16 keeps that classic Apple feel but with enough polish and small tweaks to make it feel new. It’s not a radical redesign, but then again, when has Apple ever done radical? They play it safe, and honestly, it works. The design is clean, the display is gorgeous, and it’s unmistakably iPhone — no complaints here. Camera Alright, let’s get into one of the iPhone 16’s biggest selling points — the camera. Apple’s always hyping up their camera upgrades, and this time they’ve delivered some serious improvements. Whether you’re snapping pics of your breakfast or capturing sunsets, the iPhone 16 camera setup has got you covered. Here's what's new and exciting: Triple-Lens Setup: The iPhone 16 rocks a triple-lens setup on the back: a 48MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide, and a 12MP telephoto. The main sensor now has a wider aperture, which means it grabs more light — perfect for those tricky low-light situations. Ultra-Wide Lens: This one’s fun for squeezing more into your frame. Want to capture that giant group photo or a sprawling landscape? The ultra-wide lens has got you. The distortion at the edges is less noticeable now, too, so that’s a nice little bonus. Telephoto Lens: Zooming in on distant objects is sharper than ever with up to 5x optical zoom.
No more grainy shots when you’re trying to snap a pic of your favorite band from the nosebleeds. Night Mode: Night Mode has been given a hefty upgrade, making low-light photography an absolute breeze. The iPhone 16 handles dark scenes like a pro — you can see what you’re taking a picture of now without having to mess around too much with settings. Perfect for those late-night adventures. Photonic Engine: Apple’s throwing around some fancy terms again, but the Photonic Engine means better color accuracy and texture in your photos. Shots are crisper, colors pop, and you get less noise, even in challenging lighting conditions. Apple says it processes images in ways that previous models just couldn’t. Video Capabilities: Video recording remains a strong suit, with the iPhone 16 capable of 4K at 60fps. You also get ProRes for those who really wanna flex their video editing muscles. And yes, the cinematic mode is back and better, with improved focus transitions that look more natural. Front Camera: Selfie lovers, rejoice! The front camera has also gotten a bump. It’s now a 12MP shooter with autofocus, and it’s noticeably sharper than last year’s model. Your selfies and video calls will look pro-level, even in less-than-ideal lighting. Overall Impressions: The iPhone 16 camera doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but it does make some solid refinements that make everyday photography even better. The AI enhancements behind the scenes do a lot of the heavy lifting, making sure you get great shots without needing to tweak anything manually. So, whether you're a professional photographer or just someone who loves capturing everyday moments, the iPhone 16 camera has something to offer. It’s a reliable shooter that delivers consistent results, and let's face it — for most of us, that’s all we need. Battery Life Let’s be honest, battery life is a big deal. No one wants to be that person frantically hunting for a charger halfway through the day. So, how does the iPhone 16 stack up in the battery department? Well, Apple’s made some welcome improvements here, making the phone a more reliable companion from sunrise to sundown. Bigger Battery, Better Efficiency: The iPhone 16 comes with a slightly larger battery than its predecessor, combined with the new A18 Bionic chip, which is designed to be more power-efficient. What does that mean for you? More time scrolling, snapping pics, or consuming excessively watching without constantly checking your battery percentage. Real-World Usage: Apple claims up to 2 extra hours of battery life compared to the iPhone 15, and honestly, it’s noticeable. On a typical day — think casual browsing, social media, some light gaming, and a bit of video streaming — the iPhone 16 comfortably lasts a full day with juice to spare. Heavy users will still want to charge overnight, but you’re less likely to hit the dreaded red zone before dinner. Charging Speeds: Fast charging is still in play, but it’s not a major leap forward. You can get around 50% charge in about 30 minutes with a 20W adapter, which is decent but not groundbreaking. And yeah, still no charger in the box, so you might need to buy one if you haven't already. MagSafe remains the convenient option for wireless charging fans, and it’s got a slight boost in efficiency, so you’re getting a bit more out of those wireless sessions. Battery Health: Apple’s also talking up improvements to battery health management, which is supposed to help keep your battery in good shape longer. So, theoretically, that initial battery performance should last a bit longer before you notice any decline. Power-Saving Modes: For those times when you’re running low, Low Power Mode kicks in just like before, but now it seems a bit smarter about when to activate and what to throttle back. Handy for squeezing out those last precious minutes of power when you’re not near an outlet. Final Thoughts: Overall,
the iPhone 16 battery life isn’t revolutionary, but it’s a step in the right direction. For most users, it’ll easily last through the day, and even power users should find it manageable. It’s not the multi-day battery life some dream of, but it’s reliable enough that you won’t be chained to your charger. If battery anxiety has been your main gripe with previous iPhones, the iPhone 16 does a decent job of easing that pain. It’s not perfect, but for everyday use, it’s a solid performer that keeps you powered up and ready to go. Comparison with Competitors Now, you might be wondering — how does the iPhone 16 stack up against the competition? Well, Samsung’s Galaxy S24 and Google’s Pixel 8 are strong contenders, but Apple’s ecosystem is tough to beat. The A18 chip outperforms most Android phones, and the camera improvements keep Apple ahead in the photo game. But hey, if you're not married to iOS, those Android options might save you a few bucks. Customer Feedback and Reviews Early reviews are in, and they’re mostly positive. Users love the speed and battery life. The camera has been getting a lot of praise too, especially for night shots. Some, though, are a bit miffed about the price — and let’s be honest, the minor design tweaks. But overall, folks seem pretty happy with their upgrades. Pricing and Value Alright, let’s talk cash. The iPhone 16 starts at $999 for the base model. If you want more storage, you’ll be forking out a couple hundred more. Is it worth it? If you’re already in the Apple ecosystem and love having the latest tech, then probably, yeah. If you’re on a budget, though, maybe hold onto your iPhone 15 for another year. iPhone 16 Specs FeatureiPhone 16Display6.1-inch OLED, 120Hz ProMotionResolution2532 x 1170 pixelsProcessorA18 Bionic chipRAM6GBStorage Options128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TBRear CamerasTriple-lens: 48MP (Main), 12MP (Ultra-Wide), 12MP (Telephoto)Front Camera12MP with autofocusOperating SystemiOS 18Battery LifeUp to 2 hours longer than iPhone 15Charging20W fast charging, MagSafe compatibleConnectivity5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3PortsUSB-CSecurityFace IDWater ResistanceIP68ColorsBlack, White, Forest Green, Pastel Blue Final Verdict: Recommend or Not? So, should you go out and buy the iPhone 16? If you’re all about that Apple life and need the latest and greatest, it’s a solid upgrade. The performance and camera improvements are legit, and the battery life boost is always welcome. But if you’ve got the iPhone 15, it might not feel like a massive leap forward. It’s an evolution, not a revolution. Bottom line — if you’ve been holding out and your phone’s on its last leg, go for it. But if your current phone’s still kicking, you might wanna wait for the next big thing. After all, the iPhone 17 rumors are already starting to fly!

Pre-orders for ‘made in India’ iPhone 16 surges, set to break export records
Apple has seen a surge in pre-orders for its ‘Make in India’ iPhone 16 in the country, as the company gears up to make its latest iPhone line-up available on September 20, trade analysts said on Thursday, adding that the new devices are set to break previous export records.
The ongoing channel checks suggest that iPhone 16 Pro models are also witnessing a strong traction from buyers, owing to its more strategic and accessible pricing, in comparison to the 15 series.

Apple iPhone 16: Everything We Know So Far in
Apple iPhone 16: Everything We Know So Far in 2500 words. The Apple iPhone 16, set for release in September 2024, is one of the most highly anticipated tech launches of the year. Here's a detailed breakdown of what we know so far about the iPhone 16 series: 1. Design and Size Changes The iPhone 16 is expected to feature a few design updates, most notably in the Pro models. The iPhone 16 Pro will have a larger 6.3-inch display, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max will sport a 6.9-inch screen, making them slightly taller and wider than the previous iPhone 15 Pro models. However, the standard iPhone 16 and 16 Plus models are not expected to see size changes and will retain the dimensions of the iPhone 15. Additionally, the iPhone 16 Pro models will have slimmer bezels, thanks to Border Reduction Structure (BRS) technology, which allows for a more compact layout of the internal components. The materials used will maintain a premium feel with the continuation of titanium frames for the Pro models. 2. Display Technology Apple is rumored to implement micro-lens array (MLA) technology in the OLED displays of the iPhone 16 lineup. This could improve both brightness and power efficiency by reducing internal reflections, allowing for a brighter screen without increasing power consumption. 3. Camera Enhancements Cameras have always been a strong focus for Apple, and the iPhone 16 series will be no exception. The iPhone 16 Pro models are expected to come with an upgraded 48MP Ultra-Wide Camera, improving the 0.5x zoom and macro photography capabilities. Additionally, Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) technology will be applied to reduce lens flares and improve image clarity. Moreover, there will be a new Capture button on the iPhone 16 Pro models, potentially used for enhanced camera controls, such as focus and zoom.
4. Performance Upgrades The iPhone 16 Pro models are expected to feature the new A18 Pro chip, which will be built on a second-generation 3nm process, delivering increased performance and efficiency. This chip will also improve the Neural Engine, enhancing the phone’s AI capabilities. For the standard iPhone 16 models, the A17 chip from the iPhone 15 Pro is expected to be used, with some performance modifications to support new features. 5. MagSafe and Battery Improvements The MagSafe magnets in the iPhone 16 series are expected to be thinner, which could improve the alignment and efficiency of MagSafe accessories. While battery capacity improvements have not been heavily leaked, the larger form factor of the Pro models may allow for a slight increase in battery life. 6. Face ID and Touch ID Although there were rumors about Touch ID making a comeback, it seems that Apple will stick with Face ID as the primary biometric security option. There are, however, discussions around embedding Face ID components beneath the display for a cleaner front design. 7. Colors The iPhone 16 series will offer several color options, including black, white, blue, green, and pink, with no mention of purple or yellow in this year's lineup. These colors will feature a frosted glass finish, similar to the iPhone 15 models. 8. Release Date and Pricing Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 16 during its annual September event, with pre-orders starting shortly after. The pricing for the iPhone 16 series is expected to be similar to the iPhone 15 lineup, although the larger and more advanced Pro models could see a slight increase. In conclusion, the iPhone 16 series will introduce notable improvements in display, camera, and performance, with a few design tweaks to enhance user experience. For those keen on photography and high-end performance, the Pro models will likely stand out, while the standard models will continue to deliver solid features for the average user. Breaking Boundaries: The iPhone 15 Experience
Design and Display
The iPhone 15 is rumored to feature a design evolution rather than a revolution. Building on the sleek aesthetics of the iPhone 14, it is expected to have a more refined look with slimmer bezels and a slightly thinner profile. The display is likely to remain in the 6.1-inch to 6.7-inch range, using the same Super Retina XDR OLED technology, but with improvements in brightness, color accuracy, and refresh rate.
Camera Settings
Apple always places a significant emphasis on the camera capabilities of its iPhones, and the iPhone 15 will be no exception. Rumors suggest the introduction of a new periscope zoom lens, which could dramatically enhance the optical zoom capabilities, providing clearer, more detailed images at higher magnifications. Additionally, improvements in low-light performance, AI-driven computational photography, and video recording are expected.
Performance and Hardware
The iPhone 15 will likely be powered by the new A17 Bionic chip, promising even greater performance and efficiency. This chip, built on a 3nm process, should provide faster processing speeds, better graphics performance, and improved energy efficiency, contributing to longer battery life. The RAM is expected to see a boost, possibly reaching 8GB, which would support better multitasking and more intensive applications.
Software Features
Running on iOS 18, the iPhone 15 will bring several new software features and enhancements. Expect more advanced integration with Apple’s ecosystem, improved Siri capabilities, and new privacy features. Enhanced AR experiences, building on the foundation laid by previous models, could also be a highlight.
Battery Life and Charging
Battery life is always a critical factor for iPhone users. The iPhone 15 is expected to have improved battery technology, coupled with the energy-efficient A17 chip, resulting in longer usage times. Additionally, there might be enhancements in fast charging and possibly the introduction of more advanced wireless charging solutions.
Connectivity and Other Features
The iPhone 15 will undoubtedly support 5G, but with improvements that offer faster speeds and more reliable connections. There are also whispers about Apple integrating satellite communication capabilities for emergency situations. Other anticipated features include an under-display Face ID, which would allow for a notch-less display, and possibly a return of Touch ID, embedded under the screen.
Pricing and Availability
Apple’s pricing strategy usually sees a slight increase with each new model. The iPhone 15 is expected to start at around $799 for the base model, with higher-end versions reaching up to $1,499 or more, depending on storage and features. The official announcement is likely to be in September, following Apple’s traditional launch timeline, with pre-orders starting shortly after.
Conclusion
The iPhone 15 is set to continue Apple’s legacy of combining cutting-edge technology with a user-friendly experience. With enhancements across the board—from design and display to camera and performance—it promises to be one of the most anticipated tech releases of the year. As always, Apple’s blend of hardware and software innovation will likely make the iPhone 15 a compelling choice for both existing users and those new to the iPhone ecosystem

I Flipped an iPhone 8 up to an iPhone 15: My Journey with Gadget Kings PRSFlipping phones has become a popular way to make money quickly, and I decided to take on the challenge myself. Starting with an old iPhone 8, my goal was to flip it all the way up to a brand-new iPhone 15. Here's how I did it, with some tips from Gadget Kings PRS, the best phone repair shop around.Day 1: Starting with an iPhone 8I began with an iPhone 8 in decent condition, which I decided to sell on eBay. To get started, I cleaned it up, took some good photos, and listed it at a slightly lower price than market value to ensure a quick sale. Selling it quickly was crucial to keep the cash flow moving, allowing me to buy more phones for future flips.Day 2: The First FlipThe next day, the iPhone 8 sold for $130, leaving me with $120 after eBay fees. I immediately started searching for my next flip on Facebook Marketplace. The goal was to find a phone that fit my budget and could be sold for a profit on eBay. I found another iPhone 8 with a cracked screen for $30. While not ideal, it was the best option within my limited budget.Day 3-4: Preparing for the Next FlipI picked up the second iPhone 8 and noticed it was in rough shape, but everything else checked out fine. Unfortunately, the parts store I usually buy from was closed for the weekend, so I couldn't replace the screen right away. Instead, I listed the phone with the cracked screen and planned to fix it on Monday. To my surprise, the phone sold quickly for $165, giving me a nice profit to reinvest. This was a crucial step as it increased my budget for the next flip.Day 5: A Stroke of Luck with an iPhone XsI managed to find an iPhone X listed for $40 on Facebook Marketplace. Upon inspection, it turned out to be an iPhone Xs, which was a pleasant surprise since these models sell for more. I listed the Xs on eBay along with the iPhone 8 and, luckily, both sold the next morning.Day 6: The Big Break - iPhone 13 Pro MaxScrolling through Marketplace, I found an incredible deal: an iPhone 13 Pro Max with a cracked screen for $250. Such deals are rare, and I was skeptical, but everything checked out. I drove 45 minutes to pick it up, and it was legit. This flip had the potential to bring in a substantial profit.Repairing the iPhone 13 Pro MaxReplacing an iPhone 13 Pro Max screen typically costs around $500-$600. However, Gadget Kings PRS has a technician who can replace just the glass, reducing the cost to about $60. This service is a game-changer for expensive models. With the screen fixed, I listed the 13 Pro Max, and it sold for $1,100, pushing me much closer to my goal.Final Days: Reaching the GoalWith the money from the 13 Pro Max sale, I purchased an iPhone 11 for $130 and an iPhone 12 for $300. Additionally, I found an iPhone 12 mini for $200 and an iPhone 8 for $50, getting both for a total of $220 by negotiating a bundle deal.Selling the Last BatchWith time running out before my iPhone 15 pre-order pickup, I contacted local buyers to sell the remaining phones quickly. While this meant accepting slightly lower prices than on eBay, it ensured I had the cash in time.Picking Up the iPhone 15After a week of hard work, I finally had enough money. I picked up my brand-new iPhone 15, a rewarding end to an intense flipping journey. The experience was a rollercoaster, but I learned a lot about the phone resale market.Tips for Successful Phone FlippingResearch Prices: Use eBay’s sold listings to gauge the market value of phones.Start Small: Begin with lower-value phones to build your budget and experience.Quality Repairs: Partner with a reliable repair shop like Gadget Kings PRS for affordable, high-quality repairs.Quick Listings: List phones at competitive prices to ensure quick sales and maintain cash flow.Local Deals: Be ready to negotiate and close deals quickly to maximize profits. Why Choose Gadget Kings PRS?Throughout this journey, Gadget Kings PRS played a crucial role.
