STROKE THE BIG TREE

Guilty Gear Strive players, how do you defend against I-No's attack "Stroke the big tree"? I play as Sol Badguy and find stroke the big tree unblockable and rarely am able to get out of it. My sister, as sore a loser as i am, yells "I"M STROKING IT" and spams the attack when she fears she's losing (every round). I would really appreciate if anybody could dumb things down and tell me how to counter/avoid/defend against it. I tried searching for an answer on my own but was met with a lot of gaming terms i do not understand.
