Hi everyone, Tile here, under more ideal circumstances, you would have gotten everything I wanted to do for the anniversary all at once, but due to my personal life becoming far more busy than I'd like, the content for this year is going to be spread out over the rest of the month.

The following is mostly going to be a few thoughts of mine, over the history of this project, and about a few personal anecdotes. If you don't care about that, feel free to just look at the art up there, it was made by VeggieUTDR.

I would like to start things off by thanking those of you who have decided to still follow this project. What started out as a stupid joke made to spite someone had transformed into a project that is incredibly personal to me. One that I, come hell or high water, will see through it to its completion, one way or another.

8 years feels like an incredible amount of time. A lot of things happened to me, and some things stayed relatively the same. It's part of why I've decided to never really cancel this. By the time Rupturedtale started, it was during the boom of Undertale AU Sprite Comics, it was a project among many of those, and one that would surely fade just like a good chunk of them.

That never really happened, though, as I'm currently talking to you. As corny as this may sound, there is a part of me inside of this thing. And it's a part of me I cannot bring myself to hurt. This whole story is about hurt, really, it'd be cruel to put it out of its misery when it can become something truly beautiful.

If you're wondering why it's taken so long, besides my life in general being busy, it's because I've spent a lot of time developing some personal projects with some good friends of mine. Ones that for the time being aren't really meant for the public eye. Creating those memories is important to me, and they will also shape how some of the things in this project are going to be.

You might get to catch a glimpse at one of them.

There isn't anything of major substance that I can show right now, the Date itself has things that will be better off being shown in their proper context. And its overall script needs to undergo revision before it can be put into game form. In the event of complete and utter catastrophic failure, you can expect it to come out in comic form instead.

In general, for the projects that are made by my hand (and the very lovely people who help said hand), I will be publishing a roadmap of what to expect in the future. There are a lot of things that I want to do, and I'm very eager to show them to you. I just need to get to them first.

Again, I'm incredibly grateful for your patience, there's not a lot of you out there, I'm aware, but for the ones that still are, I promise you're gonna get what you've been looking for.

If there is anything I've learned the past few years, is that my love for this game will never truly die, I will be thinking about it for the rest of my life.

Though, that doesn't mean I will only create under its own shadow.

You can't just play with the same toy over and over again, you know.

You'd want something new.

I cannot understate how much FNaF means to me in my life, and yeah...know that sounds a b i t much considering it's the funny har har bear games, but lemme explain-

Truth is, i was actually terrified of FNaF when it first came out! I remember my first introduction to it was when i was having a sleepover at my friend's place and he was both playing and watching other people play the first game, and when i was watching it with him, i got scared and tried to avoid the game as much as i could, even claiming to hate the game despite just knowing the first game. I was young and was prone to sheltering myself from stuff i didn't understand, and that being the first scary game i've ever seen caused that reaction, but over time...that changed.

It happened when i was watching YT and clicked on a comic dub i never seen before, thinking it was an AU for a fandom i was in (probably Undertale i dunno), but lo and behold, it was actually a fandub/animatic for the missing kids incident, and that...peaked my interest. I got curious on how this scary game actually had an interesting story to it and not just some game that goes boo. So, soon after that, i decided to look up simply "FNaF Story", found the Game Theory videos, and...the rest is history.

I was amazed and hooked, got invested in how the games explained the story in ways i've never seen before, got excited when i saw everything click together in real time, and pair that with how i got into the series r i g h t when Sister Location came out, arguably when the lore really started to kick off, i knew there was no going back now. I stuck with the series since. I watched all the animatics and dubs, listened to all the songs, tried drawing the characters, made OC's, and even talked to other people about this franchise.

And now look- Not gonna pretened this whole time it's been sunshine and (Chica's) rainbows, especially in recent times. The drop off SB caused, the lore getting more and more complicated and convoluted, the divide between older and newer fans, being the founder of Mascot Horror (for every Poppy Playtime there i s a Garten of Ban Ban) and course the IRL drama, but in all seriousness...i still wouldn't trade it for anything.

FNaF, this series, is my very first experience connecting me with a community like this, both good and bad, helping me understand how to properly enjoy media and even learn/take things from it, and i think without it i wouldn't be in the fandoms i'd be in now. The scary, horror ones, the niche, hard to find ones, story driven, character rich, and of course...more importantly...getting me into Markiplier, which further influenced the "outside the box" kind of thinking cause my g o d for these two stories you need too-

And speaking of, because of those two stories, it lead to me branching out more creativily and even creating my own webcomic for an AU combining both of them, so regardless on how that'll go, i'm just glad this series has influenced me enough to create something for others to see, since that's all i ever want to give.

But really, this franchise will forever be with me, and though i don't always agree with all of it (i haven't read any of the books in y e a r s and i refuse to do so), it only makes some of the stuff it does do right completely worth it (like the movie, peak cinema), and for where ever this bear shaped train is going next, well, i'll be here for the ride for all of it. No matter how many burning buildings it goes through.

...oh and um- Right yeah. The actual art piece. Uh....it crashed multiple times when drawing it. It's even a miracle i was able to export it. I can't even open it up anymore. So even if i wanted to change anything about it, i c a n 't -

But still pretty happy with how it came together! Was run drawing these robos, some being kinda redraws from the past, while other's i've n e v e r drawn before, so that was interesting! But still, tried to draw the "main character" so to say from each of the main FNaF games, and just kinda be...walking along through the series, nothing too deep or complex, but still interesting enough! ....unlike the fnaf storyline cause g o d how many restaurants wERE THEIR S C O T T -

But for real this is going long enough, so ima head out and do my own FNaF related things thay you don't need to worry about shush *commits arson*

What Mother games have you played, and in what order would you rank them from Best to Bestest?

I've played some of Mother 1 and generally know what happens throughout the rest of the game, I've beaten EarthBound, and I played through the vast majority of Mother 3 but then at one point in Chapter 7 my emulator fucked up my save and I lost progress and felt really discouraged and just went and watched a let's play of the rest on YouTube. I'll never forgive that damn 2012-era emulation handheld I bought off of ThinkGeek that I was playing it on at the time. Someday I'll go back and actually play the whole game from start to finish for myself. Maybe even pick up a flash cart or a reproduction cartridge to play it on the actual hardware

Anyway, I would say they're all absolute classics, but the series got better with each new game. Mother 3 is my favorite. I generally consider either Mother 3 or Undertale my favorite game ever made. Yes even though I didn't quite beat it myself don't @ me

HELL NO! I hate her! I F*****G DESPISE her!!! I am genuinely APPALLED that anyone could like someone as atrocious as her!!!

I've been meaning to rant about how awful she is for months now, but the Tumblr guidelines keep censoring me, but I do not care anymore!

Sometimes I cannot believe that I enjoy Chowder as much as I do with her in it. Sure, several moments are hilarious, BUT NOT WHEN SHE'S ON THE F*****G SCREEN! I am BAFFLED that she got a good ending by marrying to Schnitzel! NO, she does not deserve that! That bitch deserves to be [TEXT REMOVED FOR BEING TOO VIOLENT] until she dies a HORRIBLE death, and even that wouldn't be enough to satisfy my hatred of her!!! Anyone who votes for her deserves to [TEXT REMOVED FOR BEING TOO VIOLENT]!!!! RATING: -500000000/10 *deep breath* Sorry, where was I?

2. Madame Flurrie (Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door):

Now, I haven't played this game yet, but I know quite a lot about it, thanks to reviews online. Having said that, I'm not sure if I'd like to become her either. Based on her name, she's basically a cloud. Kinda sounds weird, doesn't it? However, it's possibly that it might feel different to what I'm imagining. Maybe being Madame Flurrie doesn't feel like being a cloud? Hey, you never know! Rating: 6.5 or 7/10

3. Ms. Flexi, AKA The Flexer Teacher (Mixels):

100% yes, she's absolutely my pick! Now, I've been told that turning into her would involve me becoming a simpler, but much plumper version of her. But of course, I wouldn't mind at all. A design like that is perfect. That teacher is BEAUTIFUL. I will proudly become her with my head held high. This is gonna be the best 21st Birthday ever!!! You all better vote for her OR ELSE!! Rating: 11/10

4. Toriel (Undertale):

I dunno, seems a bit too obvious. Sure, becoming someone like Toriel seems nice, and it helps if transforming into her helps me to learn how to cook better, but still. I'll put her as my 2nd place pick. I wouldn't mind becoming her if she gets the most votes, even though she's a pretty obvious choice. Rating: 8/10

Something I've noticed from watching people's streams of the pacifist/genocide runs in undertale recently is that even when people are only helping because the streamer asks, they're still doing unnecessary backseating or giving false info, so here's a summary of what's ACTUALLY required/not required for new players to do while trying for those runs! (Key word TRYING - don't try to make a new player take a certain route! A first run is a magical experience that deserves no backseating.)

This is probably gonna all sound like extremely obvious stuff to people who are super into the fandom (like myself), but there seems to be plenty of people who have played who don't know too!

(This is more for viewers than new players, and contains spoilers)

Pacifist

As long as they haven't killed anything, the player has NOT messed anything up. Missed an interaction? Didn't date papyrus or undyne? That's fine! That can all be done post-asgore. People will often figure this stuff out themselves if you let them anyway, and they'll find it a lot more satisfying!

Yeah, it's painful if they don't save the pie or the doughnut/cider. They're not required though, so let them.

Don't tell streamers how to spare a monster unless they specifically request help. A lot of pacifist battles are puzzles in themselves that are really satisfying to figure out yourself. Same for escaping undyne - they'll get there in the end!

As long as the streamer spares Flowey, he'll give them all the info they need - if you haven't dated/hung out with Papyrus, he suggests becoming better friends with him. Same for Undyne, and same for Alphys. If they kill flowey, THAT might be the only time you really gotta give input. You reload right before Asgore so it's still run-compliant!

Killing Asgore is fine, and killing Flowey doesn't kill the run either. As mentioned though, you might need to give them some hints about the hangouts if Flowey isn't alive to tell them.

It's okay if they pick mean dialogue options! Sans even says in the pacifist judgement dialogue that your lack of LOVE 'doesn't mean you're innocent or nïeve'. You can be as mean as you want as long as nobody dies - which also means pacifist players CAN use the fight option as long as they don't reduce any monster's health to zero. Eating the snowman piece also doesn't kill the run.

Destroying the ruins dummy doesn't ruin a pacifist run - for a ghost to die, they have to become corporeal. This wasn't the case here. Pretty sure the same applies with the napstablook fight! Devouring vegetoid is also okay - in 1.0.0 I believe it counted as a kill, but Toby changed it in every version after.

Don't tell blind players to backtrack before they fight Asgore! The game never hints at that beforehand and the only people who would know without backseating are those who have played before. Let them have the full experience - plus they'd miss out on a bunch of asgore and flowey dialogue, and the neutral pacifist ending!

No, they DON'T need to talk to all the shopkeeps, or visit Mettaton's house, or donate to the spiders. Do all these things give more lore or make things simpler? Sure! But they're not required. You can always tell them afterwards, but let them have their first run without too much guidance. (Ofc if they ask to be told about cool secrets/things they missed then you can, just use common sense lol. Respect whatever rules a streamer sets!)

You literally can't kill Papyrus unintentionally so don't be scared if a streamer fights him. The best weapon you can have at that point is the tough glove, and even if you land every hit perfectly it doesn't have enough damage output to kill him before the end of the fight. His name will turn yellow before he's in any real danger, and if they're pacifist they'll know to spare at the end.

No item is required. Absolutely none. (...I mean, except undyne's letter I guess lol)

Once a player triggers true pacifist, they're locked into the route. No matter what they do by the time they get to the lab, it's fine. Absolutely nothing past here can kill the run, so no more advice unless they specifically ask something. Fighting doesn't even work on anything from true lab onwards lol

Genocide

Make sure they don't fight Toriel until the kill counter is exhausted. They'll pretty quickly get the hang of it after that. If they go to fight one of the bosses (Toriel, papyrus, undyne, mettaton) before the kill counter is exhausted, that's the only time to worry. If they don't know about the kill counter yet don't spoil it - the shock of realising there's no more enemies is always super satisfying. You could always give them a LOVE goal if you wanna be subtle!

Yes, that also means going to Toriel's house, snowdin or the core is fine before the kill counter is done. Just don't trigger the boss fights.

Sparing random encounters doesn't ruin the run. That monster is still in the monster pool and can be killed later. The only monsters this doesn't apply to are unique encounters like the bosses, dogs, shyren, etc.

Looking at the wordsearch is fine, but you might wanna assure them of that if they panic once the music goes back to normal (interacting with the wordsearch makes the music revert from the genocide version).

If they're about to spare sans, let them. It builds character.

There's not really much else tbh. As long as they're getting 'but nobody came' and killing all the bosses they've done everything right. Again, if they miss dialogue or a secret you can just tell them after the run :)

And THEN I feel asleep actually so I don't remember actually listening to this one but I know it was the last one on the playlist

favorite color: I famously like to say that I love all colors (because I really do) but having to choose. Hmmm. Maybe some vivid shade of blue or this one kind of pale red or some shade of purple. I'm also a big fan of lots of different shades of pink in general. And also the combination of very soft and pastely yellow and pink, because I remember those were my favourite colors as a very small child and now, in big part for that reason, I like putting that colour combo in different things (like my arts)

currently watching: nothing >:[ I'm not much of a movies / tv shows person in general but I hope to change it at some point, my main problem at the moment though is that I just can't fit anything more in my current daily schedule because I've already been putting of things like reading and finally getting to all kinds of different things for months and months, and it's just ugggghhhh, there's never enough time for anything!!! But I just suck at time management at the moment so, one day hopefully. I want to say I will happily accept any recommendations but 1) I don't even know what I want to watch (because I never watch anything and don't know what I'd like lmao) 2) the problem described above

sweet/savory/spicy: savory maayyybbeee, but sweet is also important and something I crave quite often. So I think a balanced dose of both is what I need in my day to day life. I can mostly do without spicy though

currently playing: not a huge gamer (besides a couple of very specific game phases I had in the years past), but recently I've been playing a bunch of Super Mario type games because forgetting all my worries and booting up my Switch and leveling up my skills in platformers and racing games has been my favourite and almost foolproof, go-to way of relaxing this whole summer. Special shoutout to Mario Kart 8 for bringing our entire family together and letting me have one (1) video game thing I can safely say I have surpassed my borther in after just a couple hours of practice so it's like haha, I always lost in racing games and now I can win each time effortlessly >:]]], all thanks to having nothing better to do for several hours a day for many days. And yet more actively I want to say that I've been playing the Klonoa games (those two original platformers that got remastered) but I forgot about them and I'm pretty sure I actually haven't played them since January? Lmao (I forget about everything these days, but especially games. Fun fact: it took me almost 3 years to finish Undertale back in the day. Because I'd forget about it for several months at a time)

current obsession: Sparks unchangingly for this entire past year, and while the obsession never wanes it still has its slightly more and less intense periods, and these last couple of weeks have definitely been on the intense end of the scale. Nothing but Sparks on the brain this whole summer lol (and I welcome that fact with much happiness)

i worry that i can dip into purple prose a bit, especially when i'm first starting out a new chapter. i have to keep reminding myself to keep it simple cause it reaches a point where it annoys even me. transitions are another thing i struggle with, i never know how to move things along

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

there's definitely a good way to do it. so long as the narration style calls for it, i usually prefer if it's translated and italicized versus having the phrase in english at the bottom of the fic. when that happens i always end up having to scroll up and try to remember which sentence went where

19. First fandom you wrote for?

oh, god.... probably hetalia? if you count roleplaying as writing in this context. if not then attack on titan. but that was back in middle school/high school and they will never see the light of day again alsjkf

oh man this is hard... probably no white dove! it's the first multi-chapter, semi-cohesive thing i've written and i'm hoping it'll be good practice for future projects. that and it's almost 25k (and only halfway done) and i never knew i was capable of writing so much!

slime rancher used to be one of my favorite games to watch a playthrough of! in fact, i didn't even know english at the time - i would watch a channel in my native language play it ^^ im unfamiliar with the recent updates, but the original game was lovely to me.

good god, undertale was one of the building blocks for my entire idea of fandom. i had oc's, au's, i had an amino (i know, im sorry) for undertale roleplay and i watched almost everything undertale related i could find. undertale was the reason i got into any sort of fandom or creation! my first art piece i clearly remember being of a character was for my undertale oc. so yes, im familiar.

i watched plants vs zombies a lot when i was younger! i never got too into it, though.

minecraft was also one of the building blocks for my person!! i used to watch it from another channel in my native language when i was really young, in fact i watched nothing else for a while.

Since we'll be living here, we might as well dump some P1 Dude headcannons as an offering.

— Because of he horrible sleep schedule, his eyes are always slightly red and eyelids droopy. His hair creates a shadow over his eyes too, making him look more menacing than what he wanted to.

— He's an math person, It's logic is simple to understand and it never changes. History and Biology are the subjects he struggles with the most.

— Despite being an "wolf person" this loser just Oozes sad wet cat energy. Pathetic little meow meow if i must say.

— Would do the Undertale's pacifist route if he could play it and would cry if he ever did the genocide one.

— Is interested in more "feminine" things but, because of what others would think of him, he mostly keep it to himself. On that matter, he thinks skirts are Awfully comfortable.

— He's super easy to fluster. In this state he tends to nervously play with his hair.

— This is mostly because of a oneshot on AO3 but i thinks that he would be willing to share a bath with his partner, even though he would be nothing but a blushing mess.

OOO i love these, they feel very in line with my own headcanons for him! I've personally imagined him more in those long librarian style skirts in the fall, or at least he would have been if the 90s wasn't.. The 90's and all. Also imagining him fidgeting around with his hair all red in the face is absolutely what i needed after 9 am classes today |D I think him liking math more also makes sense, sure it's a lot at first, but there's a sense of consistency to it that others might take for granted

In return i'll give one of my own headcanons, i'm kind of coming around more to the idea of him trying to enlist as his last ditch effort "i need to make something of myself or i'll be a failure forever" (Also since admittedly it does make sense now that i think over it more, mainly related to potential ptsd related gunshot hallucinations and his use of military terms, plus the war journal thing), and i think he'd have kind of a teasing name of Big Bird because of how tall he is and how he kind of shuffled around everywhere. (Also partially ableism because he had a harder time catching onto things like sarcasm or lying, making him seem 'stupid' despite having a lot of book smarts)

I'm still admittedly kind of considering ideas for it, but i think he got discharged after issues with trauma and insomnia after dealing with the horror of war lead to him accidentally attacking another solider, leading to him being deemed unfit to continue serving and sent right back to rock bottom. I'm also admittedly dealing with low spoons brain due to a rough day, so i hope that made sense <:D

It's been a long time since last I've been on Tumblr, please forgive me. Back in the day I use to be known as an ArtBlog, but I've recently decided to flex on the Roleplay circuit a little bit. Or attempt to, rather.

I have plenty of information on the Muse that I have here, and while this blog is dedicated to one muse and the AU within which I'm playing with, that is not to say that I don't have more than one muse! I have SEVERAL, in fact, and they're all available to write with in private if you're interested in writing with me at all.

• Undertale/Deltarune, been a fan since 2016 (though thankfully avoided all the icky parts). Undertale was what lead me to seeing games as kore than just entertainment, but an art form. Deltarune on the other hand is just better Undertale imo, and I love that.

• Hollow Knight. The bug game was just quality through and through. First found it through video before playing it myself. The lore, worldbuilding, gameplay, music, all of it was beatiful.

• Bug Fables is fairly new, all things considered, but it has gripped me in ways I could never imagine (Team Snakemouth my beloved). Like, its hard to explain, but its just so so good. I love everything bout it.

• Chicory: A Colourful Tale. Are you an artist, a writer, a creator of any kind? Play this game. I will personally bite your hand off if you don't check it out in 5 minutes/j. All jokes aside, this game is quite close to my heart, having played it with my siblings. Its quite underrated imo, despite having a wonderful story of being an artists and the struggles surrounding it.

• I like to play the keyboard! I'm not as skilled as you (I can't play with two hands and I always refer to music sheets), but its still a fun time regardless. So far, i've managed to play the main tune of Capim Town, Partner's theme, Once Upon A Time (Undertale) and Serene Village.

• Almost forgot! I play Rivals of Aether a LOT. Its basically one of the games I pkay to release stress, being a fighting game and all

ahh well there'd have to be enough demand for it, as with most things i talk about outside of the tags. i basically never make posts outside of ffp that aren't responses to asks—but i have responded to every ask i've gotten so far. as with every post i make that isn't ffp, i run the risk of someone out there saying "you're just the front-facing pokémon blog, i came here for that, stop talkin' so much" which is why i usually relegate my commentary to the tags unless i get an ask. sure, my oc stuff is something i'm proud of—i used to have an entire blog dedicated to it, though i deleted it after a while—but it's a pretty involved thing to talk about. there's a lot i have yet to say about myself that i could talk about, but if the demand isn't there, then i assume the general consensus is that folks are here for front-facing pokémon, and the occasional commentary in the tags

… though since you asked, i'll give a small summary rundown under the cut

what i've made is basically a homebrew ttrpg based off of the pmd series. there's a few games in the series, all with their own pmd-game-styled titles, and they're based around trying to replicate the feel and spirit of a pmd game as much as possible while still having a lot of the freedom that comes with a ttrpg as opposed to a video game. they're solo campaigns, obviously since i'm recreating pmd in ttrpg form, and they've had a few players so far—but only one has managed to get all the way through two of the campaigns

there's a lot of characters, and some of the worldbuilding is extrapolated straight from pmd. wigglytuff's guild, the expedition society, all that—i tried to structure the world in the same way while also expanding upon it based on the characters i placed in the world and more lore to give even the seasoned pmd fan things to learn about the world and what's happening in it

at one point, i did try to do a written adaptation of it online. it's since been deleted, because i entered college and sorta never had the time to update it, but i still work on the world and the characters to this day. by definition, since it's a ttrpg, it's collaborative in essence—there are baseline things that i can establish as "canon" of course, and there's an intended outcome and intended ways to play the game, but ultimately it's up to player interpretation exactly how everything is done. and that was my primary goal—to make sort of an undertale style world where it's less focused on dungeon-crawling combat like traditional dnd and more on good roleplay and character interactions + dialogue. it's just about living in the pmd world, after having been turned into a pokémon—and saving the world, too, of course

there's much, much more i could say about it, but i'll leave it at that, for now. such as the text-based nature using pmd talksprites to convey dialogue, the formatting and gameplay, the partial voice acting done by yours truly…

but if i talk about that too much then i risk talking about myself and the whole "i wish i could do voice work as a career but it doesn't seem viable so i'm stuck being a software developer" thing and we don't wanna see that
