my contribution to the thing day! i've spent a lot of time seriously imagining it and managed to draw this up, only to discover i'd lost my lineart pen :/ so this is remaining as a sketch! it's not perfect, despite messing around with it i'm still not quite happy with the current dnp drawings and i cut off the writing (it's supposed to be lyrics from still into you by paramore) but i hope you all like it :)

Hey y'all, I think I need a little bit of a like reality check again So I know I am prone to rather extreme muscle tension, spasms, and knots; my body does electrolytes wrong, and if I have a flareup of one of my other health conditions it can make my electrolytes wrong enough that my muscles hate it (I've been tested multiple times, there's nothing wrong with my nerves or muscles themselves, it really seems to just be the electrolytes) So I know the degree of muscle issues is unusual, but I thought the like...pattern was common? When you get muscle tension on one side of your body, and then it relaxes (like the next day) do the muscles on the other side of your body tense up, just slightly less bad? And then it like seesaws back and forth from one side of your body to the other, getting less bad each time, until you're back to base levels of muscle tension? And if so do you have any advice on how to prevent that seesaw effect from happening? Like, other than rehydrating and electrolytes, I have those covered

you know, I really wasn't expecting Jin Guangyao to win the most spots on my art summary this year but you know what he deserves it, probably, maybe... I think I did less art than usual this year though because I spent most of the spring frantically writing a couple massive fanfics, and then most of July I was traveling, so it was rather feast or famine art-wise for me

and now for the breakdown!

This year SVSSS managed to pull into the lead as the fandom I drew the most art for which... is honestly pretty impressive given that I started that series in August? my apologies to literally everyone who could not have expected this sudden deluge... very different from Hogan's Heroes and Torchwood which were my most prolific fandoms last year (ᵕ—ᴗ—);;;

The other fandoms I drew at least several pieces of art for this year include: MDZS, TGCF, Hogan's Heroes and The Disabled Tyrant's Beloved Pet Fish.

The fandoms I drew only 1 or 2 pieces for were: The 10th Kingdom, MASH, The Apothecary Diaries, Back to the Future, Cybersix, Discworld, Dungeon Meshi, Final Fantasy, Lost in Space, The Salt Grows Heavy, Torchwood, Tintin, and Wicked.

Posting here because it’s the one social media my friend probably can’t see. 

After 2 months, I’ve finally finished making this quilt for my friend’s new baby, and I feel pretty proud of it since it’s my first ever quilt (check out those mitered corners bay-bee)!  All the right angles a lad could ever want. 

I modified a pattern from Missouri Star for their “Summer in the Park” quilt, and finished it with an intense amount of geometric stitching.

Another mini update because I think I deserve to talk about this:

I am changing game plans! I'm not sure if I've mentioned this but... The shell stitch is such a yarn eater. I have four rows of shells, but you actually don't see that there are about eight rows in this because there are intermittently small ones to set up the space for all the shells. These four rows have basically eaten up ninety percent of my skein of 210 yards (192 meters). My question is: should I make one more shell stitch row before transitioning into double crochet, or is four sufficient?

My new plan now is something like this: shell stitch four rows, double crochet until I reach the center of the tallit. The middle will be a few more rows of shells, then back to double crochet until I make it to the other side. I genuinely can't think of a worse idea that thirty-three inches (eighty-four centimeters) of solid white in shell stitch.

(Do note that my camera has completely altered the colors. It does this automatically and I hate it so much. These colors are so much richer and more interesting than how this camera decided to mess with it)
