Absolutely love the Scott, Stiles, Kira dynamic. I adore the fact that all three of them are on the lacrosse team together and can work together to keep Liam and each other safe.

That said, I feel really bad that Kira was benched, and I feel like that was kind of unfair of Coach. If it were a real game setting, he would've been really happy about that goal. It also makes me wonder, would he have been upset about said goal if Scott or Stiles (or even Liam) had made the shot instead (though, as a very quick aside, I do appreciate Stiles's banter with the dude on the other team and how well it distracted him so he could pass to Kira lol)? Don't start getting all anti-Kira on me here, Coach. You wanted her on the team....

Anyways I really love those three together, and her excitement was adorable, and Scott was so proud of her, and I hope Coach gives her another chance, because she totally deserves it.

I also absolutely love Noah and his support of Lydia (also love that Malia is still attached at her hip...so sweet <3). The fact that he called her right away, and is going against all sorts of laws and such to make sure that she can get what she needs, and then the way she was just so close to breaking down and he just pulled her up and in and tried to calm her down I just...

I also love the fact that he's starting to bring Parrish into the fold more and more. Like, Parrish is seriously such a good guy, and he clearly keeps such an open mind, and I kind of hope we get to actually tell him all about the supernatural soon, because I really feel like he'd be another good resource for us to have.

I love Scott and Stiles immediately rushing to help Liam up, and I love Scott fixing Liam's arm, and I love Scott's absolutely utter concern that Liam could've gotten cut, and I love that Liam did not get cut and is now more or less fine.

HOWEVER...

I don't think Garrett missed.

He does not look the LEAST bit concerned, and Brett sounds like he's a LOT more hurt and in a LOT more pain than he should be if he's the one that ran into Liam.

How much do you wanna bet that Brett is ALSO a werewolf, and that Brett is the one they were after the whole time?

I mean...

Okay, I do strongly believe, as much as I hate to admit it, that Liam is probably on the list, and he's probably gonna be a target pretty freaking soon, but...I don't think he was the target TONIGHT.

I think Garrett (and Violet) did EXACTLY what they were planning to do.

I wish Scott and Stiles weren't so focused on Liam and could see that.

But also, I don't blame them.

But I guarantee you I'm right.

And I hate that.

I hope our boys figure it out ASAP so that we can hopefully save him (can we even save him?? Violet said very rare and very powerful or something like that...god I hope we can save him. Just because he was a jerk to Liam doesn't mean he deserves to die...).

Update Part 2: I KNEW PARRISH WAS SOMETHING!! I F*CKING CALLED THAT TOO!!! Bro is so nice and so amazing, but he was also SOOO hiding something and WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT HE IS!!! HIS NAME IS ON THE LIST!!! Also that theory was only further confirmed when he told the Sheriff that something drew him to Beacon Hills like... That said, despite his apparent supernatural-ness, I hope he's still a good person, because he really has been so nice and such a great resource and I hope that's not an act, because I love him (also also, he and Lydia really DO have chemistry, sorry not sorry.)

This was a reply to someone else, but I'm making this its own post because so many people are being so evil right now re: Noah Schnapp.

You can find other, longer explanations with history and all, but all the places I've seen more or less agree with this:

So you're all calling people to cancel Noah because he's in favor of a Jewish nation in what is today Israel. Which is a perfectly reasonable, decent and educated opinion to have, especially when you, to use a trendy term, "educate yourself" and find out why the state of Israel was created.

11000 dead Palestinians, half of them children

According to Hamas. Don't forget that, ever. They're the current, official government of Gaza, thus they're the ones who give numbers. This means that the real number could be 10, 1 million, anything in between. What I've read is that they probably give more of less accurate total numbers. What they fail to do, however, is distinguish between Hamas militants and civilians, and beteween civilians killed by IDF strikes, civilians killed by failed Hamas or Palestininan Islamic Jihad's rockets (which happens a lot), and Palestinians murdered by Hamas/PIJ (which also happens, a whole damn lot). They also don't specify how many civilians they have prevented or tried to prevent from evacuating or receiving aid.

11k dead people is a horrible number. Even 1 dead person is a horrible number. However, urban warfare in such a densely populated area is its own kind of hell, especially when the other side is fond of using civilians as human shields in every way possible. The fact that the number is 11k and not 50k, 100k, and so on, indicates that the IDF have indeed done a lot to minimize deaths. You don't genocide people by doing roof knocks, opening evacuation lines, dropping guided bombs, putting up an Iron Dome to deal with rockets while avoiding escalation, etc. simply because actual genocide, while a lot worse, is also cheaper, easier and faster than what they're doing. This is important because caling every act of war genocide dilutes the word, and there are actual genocides happening around the world. Also, there is a difference between striking military targets and causing civilian deaths as a side effect (what the IDF is doing) and planning and carrying out a massacre deliberately targeting civilians and inflicting as much pain and humilliation as possible on them. And there is a difference between doing so by breaking a ceasefire (which is what Hamas did), and defending your country because if you don't do that a terrorist group will anhilate you (which is what the IDF is doing).

Back to Noah. So far, these are the things that people have tried to cancel him for:

Traveling to Israel (a completely normal thing)

Having Israeli friends (another completely normal thing)

Condemning Hamas' horrible attack on October 7th (the decent thing to do)

Posting a statement saying he feels unsafe as a Jewish person in the US (which, given the rise of antisemitic acts in the world, including the US, including where he lives and where he studies, is a valid feeling to have)

Signing a letter, along with Shawn Levy, Brett Gelman, Ross Duffer and I think Cara Buono, asking Biden to press for the liberation of every hostage by Hamas. This especially shows the utter ignorance of the cancellers because, as it turns out, caring about every hostage implies a slowdown of IDF's actions (and, at the time, a delay of a ground invasion).

Supporting the existence and preservation of the state of Israel (once again, a completely normal thing). The fact that people are turning against him for these things says to me that the real reason you are all hating Noah is beacuse:

He's Jewish. Like, really really Jewish.

And the fact that this all comes from a place of antisemitism isn't hidden at all: I've seen y'all on here, on Twitter, Reddit, every other social media calling him slurs (such as "cunt"), censoring his name, pretending he's not part of the cast, asking the Duffers/Netflix to fire him, wishing him failure, doxxing him, calling on his classmates to physically assault him, etc. He doesn't need to educate himself: you guys are already teaching him a great lesson on why a Jewish state is necessary. If that's the treament he gets from his own "fans", what can he expect from the world at large?

Hello Starry! I just had a thought about your Danyal al Ghul AU, and didn't have anyone else to share it with, so here we go:

If in this universe Bruce is Jewish, and Danny knows this(probably from a google search), he may wear a Star of David necklace to have a piece of his father with him at all times, since he knows he will never get to meet him. Or maybe the necklace sits in a box under a floorboard, because he can't stand the constant reminder of the father he'll never get to have. Maybe he observes Sam and her family celebrate Jewish holidays, or he learns how to by himself, but uses the time to mourn, instead of celebrate.

Anyways, hope all is well, and thank you for sharing your writing!

But dude BOTH of these ideas are soo?? GOOD and ANGSTY. I love angsty. Danny would for sure know if Bruce was Jewish, lil guy did an obsessive amount of research on his dad the moment he got his hands on a computer and figured out how they worked. Danny has like, a three inch thick folder almost on his father alone. Anything he could get his hands on, he's got it. That thickness is almost exclusively from his first like, six months in Amity Park. He keeps it in a box in his closet, along with his growing-folder on Damian and his achievements as Damian Wayne. He pages through it when he's feeling like mourning.

First off: him wearing a Star of David necklace to feel connected to Bruce. That is SO sad and I love it so much. He bought it with an allowance he'd been given when he first started living with the Fentons, he keeps it tucked under his shirt so nobody even knows he has it. Sam and Tucker don't until it slips out while he's hanging out with them and when they ask him about it, Danny very reluctantly tells them that his father is Jewish. When he's distracted, nervous, or sad, he fidgets with it. How this looks is that he looks like he's kinda rubbing his chest, like ungrasping and grasping something.

Second Off: him keeping it in a box under the floorboards. That is also so, so good. He's got it in the box along with a few other things that remind him of his father and Damian and his mother. He takes it out when he's feeling particularly lonely and homesick, it's a feeling that never really goes away even after five years of living in Amity Park. It's like a longing for something you'll never see again, but isn't that just how grief works? i can just imagine him sitting against the bed, late at night and back from patrol. He's still in his ghost form, his katana laid on the ground next to him, and his almost bird-like cape pooling down beside him as he cups the necklace in his hand like he's cradling an egg. Maybe he's bleeding from somewhere, and he's telling the necklace about patrol, murmured soft in Arabic.

When he finds out Sam is Jewish he probably, after much consideration, asks if he can observe their holidays -- after all, researching Jewish holidays only does so much. Sam agrees when he explains why, much to her parents chagrin, and he sometimes tags along. But once he gets an understanding of how they go, he starts doing it on his own. Somewhat. He celebrates with Sam for most of it, and then has some time to himself where he celebrates it on his own. So it's a little bit of both.

^^^ which brings me to thinking about my danyal snippet here where Sam is at a Wayne gala and tears into her parents over Danny in front of Bruce. And it's making me think of, with this idea in mind, Sam in a moment of emotional impulsivity, saying "I know that he wears a Star of David because his father is Jewish and he wants to be closer to him, because he loves him so very fucking much." And while saying that, briefly makes direct eye contact with Bruce as a way to tell him "I know you're his fucking dad. Look at the son you have left behind."

If only for the emotional gut punch that can leave Bruce with. 🥰
