I don't have any specific headcanons but what I always think about is how much his behavior post-mugging is influenced by how the mugging happened and what he saw/felt specifically. Things like being splattered in blood and brain matter, and not feeling "clean" enough after. Being pushed behind Martha's coat and told to be very quiet while Thomas deals with the mugger initially -- so he stays silent even when the police are trying to talk to him. And with Alfred later. Being afraid of unfamiliar men approaching them -- does he lash out at the plainclothes GCPD detective but is fine with the uniformed cop? Did Martha grasp his wrist tightly, trying to protect him, and now he can't handle much touch at all, even gentle ones? was the guilt of asking his parents to leave the show/movie/etc involved? how much of that can he fully feel/process at that age?

Anyway. Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm happy to keep writing on here as long as people want. I'm glad the jokes are landing, they're some of my favorite things to sneak in.

something something a fanfic in which Ian is best friends with Yevgeny and then he timetravel and falls in love with his best friend's father.

I like to think that in this version he was raised by Clayton cause Monica obviously couldn't, and canonlike she wasn't in the picture much. He then lives with his father, stepmother and siblings but doesn't quite fit with them. Yev was raised by Svetlana and never knew his father cause he left when Yev was a baby.

When Ian travels back he is saved by Mandy. He says he's a Gallagher and she's like "I know the Gallaghers but I never saw you!". He's introduced to his "cousins" who immediately take he in like a brother? Who he is cause of Monica.

Then because of Mandy he gets to know Mickey and younger Svetlana and baby Yev and it is extremely fucked but... my dick's in your dad mouth, sorry Yev!

Gallavich: they start as friends cause Ian quickly hits off with Mandy, and soon Ian gets to understand the difficult situation that led to Yevgeny's conception and why Mickey probably left them when Yev was still a baby. Then, feelings come along and Mickey's deep in the closet but Ian's nothing if open-minded so with time it works out. Ian doesn't lose interest even though Mickey has a wife and baby, he isn't scared off easily, and Yev Svet and Mandy all like him so that's a turn on. Ian likes older guys so the fact that Mickey's an old soul in a hot young body who listens to dad music and is grumpy is what attracts Ian.

The future is forever altered. Ian now actually has a family of Gallagher's he actually likes and fits. Ian came along so Mickey never left the picture and now Yev was raised with his father around. Which changed the way Yev grew up to be, so he's not the version Ian knew, but that's alright cause then Ian gets to meet him again. And yes, they end up being best friends all the same, after all, Yevgeny watch the type of cartoons and listens to the kind of music and plays the same videogames Ian grew up with so they're very close.

Riku's figure skating career has him on top of the world at the age of nineteen. But after an injury at a competition he was favored to win, his coach gives him an ultimatum: skate in the comparatively less demanding "Pair" category with a partner, or quit the sport altogether. Too bad the partner his coach suggests just so happens to be Sora, his childhood best friend who later became the other half of slightly toxic codependent queer relationship when they were teens. Riku never thought he'd see Sora again, and in some ways it was easier like that. Now, Sora's back in Riku's life, and he can't help but feel all his unresolved emotions coming back to the surface. And, worst of all, there's something else there too. A flicker of hope.

As someone who is disabled, I agree with the other anon, the way you write disability into the characters is very nice. It's done so casually, there isn't any judgemnet behind it, it isn't being done for the point of a pity plot, it's just... an extra detail. That feels very nice and refreshing. Thank you so much.

ahh thank you!! i do try to be careful with my depictions of disabilities and make a conscious effort to portray them as realistically disabling while also not going overboard into infantilization/savior plot/etc. so i'm very glad to hear that you think i'm doing it well <3

ok so. inspired by a certain fandom discourse, i have a question, mainly turned to poc but hearing other opinions is also welcome 🙏

so, the scenario is this: the writers are stupid as fuck and named a planet in the game after a literal slur. these writers are either incredibly ignorant at best or racist at worst (tbf, this company doesn't have a good track record when it comes to racism in general, so)

now. there are characters in the game who naturally refer to characters from that planet as [slur]ians (<- worst word i ever typed jfc). and i've seen ppl argue that it makes the characters racist too, even though in-universe it wouldn't be different from us calling, say, someone from italy an italian ig.

i only found out abt this discourse bc i've seen ppl post stuff like "stop defending [character] for being racist" and i found it baffling bc i didn't realize they're perceived as such at all. so this is why i'm asking, mostly to see if my initial reaction was indeed a logical one, or rather an ignorant one, in which case i'll change my views accordingly
