The drawing looked better on paper
That's what I mean when I say Natasha was supposed to be Lanselot Hamilton's expy in A Kind of Magic (Yes, it is not the guy named Lancillotto who has this title).
As I said before, Woman Lost in Nevermore is just the alternate name for Alpha-Natasha, but why?
Nevermore is the name of the place Alphania (Natasha's "best friend" who lives in her shadow) discovered while torturing people. Nevermore is where the mind goes when the brain wants to die but the body doesn't, making an eternal (?) "dreamworld" inside the person's brain to lock themselves out of reality. While Alpha-N also holds this name, her "Nevermore" is basically... nothing, while the Woman actually see positive things while daydreaming.
The Woman Lost in Nevermore is just Natasha locked inside her mind when she was a pre-teen (WORSE TIME OF MY LIFE, I DON'T RECOMEND), having the mind of both a child and a teenager, she has basically little to no control of her bursts of anger when someone theatens to break the Nevermore.
The Woman pictured above is a failed transformation into Alpha-Natasha, that is, when Natasha awakens her Emotion-Absence of Mind without Alphania's aid (As two people holds the Daemon of Lust, Natasha's power isn't enough to fully alter her body, resulting in only her organs expanding instead of her whole body (That's why she has those seams- as Alphania did that to keep everything inside her body and not let her explode)). While Alpha-Natasha is just a wild beast, the Woman is "fully aware" of her doings (although it's just her body reacting, as the true mind is sealed deep inside her brain), she also feels no pain and attacks with brute strength, but unlike Alpha-N, she can make up plans and eventually learn the patterns of her enemies.
"While there's life, there's hope" Alphania says, jokingly, as she knows the Woman will fight until the end of her life for an illusion made by her own mind.

Summary:
You are the Heart Pirates' beloved cook and sniper. However, you were also an insufferable troublemaker who always seemed to get on Law's nerves. As your relationship with Law grows, he only hopes you don't fucking embarrass him. After all, he has an image to uphold as one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea.
This story starts off as short stories between (Y/N), Law and the Heart Pirates, then picks up into the One Piece canon timeline, starting from Punk Hazard. This is a slow-burn Law x Female Reader story!

Chapter 2: Soba, Warrior of the Sea
Chapter summary: Attempting to find blackmail material against your captain, you took a volume of Law's favourite comic series. The only problem is you misplaced it an hour later, and if you didn't find it, the captain was going to cut you up and throw you to the bottom of the sea.
Notes: Thank you for the love! I'm so glad y'all are loving this like I am! I'll make a taglist if more people are interested. And no, the title is not a typo and you'll find out why soon ;)
wc: 4k (hefty chapter this week!)
The Polar Tang smelt like fried eggs.
It was 7 am and Hearts Pirates were just waking up. It was a brand new day, and the crew were looking forward to seeing if they could dock on a new island.
Ikakku made her way into the kitchen first, and she saw you cooking breakfast for the crew. You had your white jumpsuit unzipped with the sleeves tied around your waist. Your white tank top was stained with grease and was clinging to your skin due to sweat.
She sat down facing your direction and rested her elbows on the table, with her cheek leaning on her palm. "Morning (Y/n)!" she greeted you.
You turn your head to see that Ikkaku has arrived. "Morning Ikkaku! Sorry I didn't wake you up, I knew that you wanted to help me today but you looked so peaceful sleeping," you said.
Your crew-mate waved her hand dismissing the apology. "Don't even worry about it. I know you love being in the kitchen by yourself." She glanced at your exposed body. "Shouldn't you change and put your suit back on?" she commented.
You made an annoyed click with your mouth. "You know how annoying these jumpsuits are. I don't know why he insists that we can all do our jobs while wearing a white garbage bag as clothes. I don't care if he sees me like this and gets mad, I can't cook with this shit on." you complained.
The girl behind you giggled, "Get mad? It's more like ogle your almost half-naked body. You know the captain has somewhat of a soft spot for you."
You scoffed. "Captain? We're talking about the guy who sliced me when he found that I put flour and bread in his rice balls?"
"If anyone else did that, they would get thrown out of this sub." Ikkaku defended.
"Oh please. You know the captain is an emotionally constipated man who doesn't take a second glance at anyone."
"You'd be surprised our dear cook. I've seen Captain stare at you last month." Shachi interrupted as he walked into the kitchen with Penguin.
"Shachi, that was because he was going to decapitate (Y/n) for smacking a loaf of bread on his head," Penguin corrected him.
"Oh..." he muttered.
You threw your head back in laughter as you remembered how you accidentally smacked the captain with a bagged loaf of bread because he was somehow caught in between the crossfire of you and Shachi arguing about stolen food portions. That day was the first time your head was separated from your body.
The three crew-mates sitting at the dining table noticed how your cheeks flushed a light pink. They all grinned maniacally.
"Were you thinking of the captain?" Penguin singsonged.
You rolled your eyes as you placed a batch of fried eggs on a plate. "You know I don't have feelings for the captain like that."
"Aww, that's not true," Ikkaku whined.
You continued to batter up a batch of pancakes and poured it into the hot pan in front of you. "Well, I can't lie the captain is good-looking. But I don't just fall in love with someone based on looks you guys, I would want to get to know the person before I would think about committing to a relationship," you explained as you flipped the pancake.
Shachi suddenly straightened his back in a sudden realization. "So you do admit that you find our awesome captain handsome! Why don't you try getting closer to him?" he asked.
You grabbed the plate of eggs from the counter and walked up towards your hungry crew-mates to place it on the table.
"I think the captain would rather eat bread than to get to know me. Besides, I know that he finds me insufferable, but that's because he doesn't know how to have fun. Now, who wants my special fried eggs?"
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was 10 am, and you just finished cleaning the kitchen and making the crew's lunch. You proudly put your hands on your hips as you scanned the area. You were a proud cook and proud of what you did. Your heart swelled in appreciation that you could use your talents and that your talents were well appreciated within the crew.
Unlike your 3 shitty brothers who always just shoved food down their throats without care. But that wasn't important.
You glanced at Bepo, the captain's favourite crew-mate (your assumption), finishing wiping the dishes clean. The Mink was always around the captain, so often that you swore that they were probably shower buddies. A mental image of Law and Bepo bathing together popped into your head. You stiffened a laugh.
"(Y/n)-san, Captain wanted to request grilled fish and rice for dinner," Bepo said, interrupting your daydream.
You exhaustedly sighed. "Again? This is the third time we had that this week, I swear that my breath permanently smells like fish now."
The Mink turned around to you and lowered his head. "Sorry..."
You gave a halfhearted smile to your crew-mate. "Never mind that I can never get mad at you Bepo, you're one of the few people who help me around the kitchen. Tell the captain that if he wants his favourite dish he needs to come up and ask me personally instead of using you as a communicator."
Bepo profusely nodded. "I'll tell him right away."
As Bepo was going to leave, you stopped him. "Wait," you called up to him. The Bear stopped in his tracks.
You put your hand on your chin and started to think. "I don't want to make that fucking grilled fish and rice dish again. What if I know something about the captain and I can use it to hold against him? That way I can never make those dishes ever again."
Once your idea formed in your head you started to grin evilly and rubbed your hands together like a madman.
Bepo, seeing this unfold in front of him, started to get nervous. "Uh, (Y/n)-san? What are you doing? Why did you stop me?" he asked.
You whipped your head up to face Bepo and walked up in front of him. Putting your hand on the side of your mouth like you were telling a secret, you started to ask, "You're pretty close to the captain right?"
Bepo flinched. "Uhm, yes?"
"And you know a lot about him right? Like his deepest and darkest secrets?"
"Well, I guess so?"
"So, if you tell me something about him, something that he doesn't want anyone to know, you'd tell me in exchange for, let's say, my special sushi recipe?"
Bepo started sweating and you smirked. You knew the Mink bear loved your special sushi recipe, and you knew he could not resist.
"(Y/n)-san... I can't betray the captain like that." he said. The poor bear sounded like he was trying to convince himself not to give in to your temptation.
"Oh? Well, that's too bad, I was going to also make Soba for tonight too, what a shame," you said with fake sadness.
Bepo started to whimper. If there was one thing he didn't play about, it was Soba.
The Mink started to whip his head left and right to see if anyone was listening in to the conversation. Then he leaned down to your level.
"Oh alright, but PLEASE don't tell the captain about this!" he harshly whispered.
You grinned as you crossed your heart. "The information is safe with me."
Bepo hesitated, then he quickly confessed, "The captain is a huge fan of the comic series Sora, Warrior of the Sea! He has a huge collection hidden in his library of books."
You leaned back in surprise, with your smile widening into a perplexed grin. "Our feared captain is a NERD?!"
Bepo frantically waved his paws at you. "(Y/n)-san! Please you're being too loud!" he begged.
You burst out laughing, bending frontwards while your hands were clutching your stomach. Oh, the information that you just obtained was your One Piece! You never expect your stoic and boring captain to be a huge fan of a children's comic series. And he collected the comics too? This was just what you needed to blackmail Law.
You quickly collected yourself from laughing too hard. "Good doing business with you Bepo, you can expect a very good dinner tonight." You said. You winked at him and hurriedly walked out of the kitchen.
"Oh man, what did I do..." he mumbled.
Meanwhile, you were scouring around the Polar Tang to find Law's collection of books. While walking in the corridors of the submarine, you encountered Jean Bart.
"Hey, Jean! Where are you heading to?" you asked the big man.
Jean rubbed the back of his neck. "Hey (Y/n)! I'm heading to the infirmary for my annual checkup with the captain."
The statement gave you a green light. You were going to head to the captain's room to get your hands on those comics no matter what. It may be a big risk but if it means that you wouldn't have to grill fish ever again, so be it.
"Good to know! I'm just heading back to my room, I've been doing a lot of cooking today." You said it as an alibi.
You started to walk past the man. Jean's head followed your direction. He looked confused. "But your shared room is the opposite way...?" he said, watching your form walk further away.
You didn't hear the man. You were hyper-focused on sneaking into the captain's room while he was busy with medical examinations.
Eventually, you came across a double door. There was a sign on the left door that read Trafalgar Law. This must be it.
You slowly grabbed the handle of the right door and twisted it. Pushing the door open you slowly walked into the captain's quarters. It was clean and neat as you expected it to be. The captain was a clean freak, the complete opposite of what you dealt with in the kitchen. On the right of the room was a queen bed, with a nightstand on its left side. There was a decent-sized desk perpendicular to the doors which were filled with scattered papers. To the right of the desk was a tall bookshelf filled with all kinds of books.
Bingo.
You stepped into the room and closed the door quietly behind your back. You hurriedly walked to the bookshelf and started scanning through from top to bottom.
"Archives of Medical Plants... Grand List of Diseases... Mink Autonomy... North Blue Medical Association, dang nothing but medical books," you muttered as you looked through the bookshelf.
Unable to find anything on the bookshelf, you looked around the desk. You opened the drawers hoping to find some comics but found your bounty poster instead.
"Weird, why does he have my poster in there? It doesn't look like he has the rest of the crew's posters." you thought.
You put your hands on your hips and huffed in frustration. "If I were Trafalgar Law, where would I put my precious comic books?" you thought again.
Your eyes soon landed on the nightstand, and a lightbulb went off on your head.
You hurriedly scampered to the nightstand. You immediately opened the bottom drawer and found your One Piece.
In the drawer were 12 volumes of Sora, Warrior of the Sea. You carefully picked up the first volume. It was in pristine condition. You noticed it was covered with a plastic sleeve and you chuckled.
"Oh captain I never thought you would be a nerd. This is so good," you said giddily.
You quickly took the first volume and placed it under your tank top at your back. Then you quickly put on the sleeves of your jumpsuit and zipped it up. You promptly got up and then quickly left the bedroom, quietly closing the door behind your back. You sighed in relief and took in a deep breath until someone spoke up on your left, "Why were you in the captain's room?"
"GAHHHH!!" you screamed. You whipped your head to your left, only to see Penguin leaning up against the wall with a grin.
"Is captain also in there too?" he inquired.
You grabbed onto the man's collar and pushed him against the wall. "Are you crazy? Don't scare me like that! And no, the captain is in the infirmary right now with Jean!" you whispered harshly.
Penguin raised his hands in defeat. "All right all right. But what were you doing in there?"
You released him and took a step back. "Well since you're here, I found the captain's deepest darkest secret," you said grinning.
He gasped and put his hands on his mouth. "You found out about Corazon?!"
You tilted your head to the left. "Cora-who?"
Penguin laughed nervously. "Oh, that, uh never mind."
You huffed, dismissing what the man just said. "I found out that captain is a huge nerd! I have his copy of Sora, Warrior of the Sea hidden on me right now." you snickered.
Penguin looked like he was going to faint. Then you saw him morph into the angriest you had ever seen him, "WHY WOULD YOU TAKE THAT?!" he screamed.
You flinched and his sudden outburst. "Whoa now, it's just blackmail material."
"The captain does not play about touching his comic books!"
You squinted. "Wait...you knew about this?"
The man made a raspberry noise "Of course I did. Bepo, Shachi and I grew up with the captain."
"Ah, that makes sense."
Now Penguin squinted. "Wait a minute, who told you about Captain's collection?"
You nervously laughed. "Ah, Bepo told me."
He groaned. "That fucking bear can't keep his mouth shut," he mumbled.
You dismissively waved your hand. "Never mind him. I bribed him. Now, I know you want to take a peak of this comic with me, don't you Penguin?" you asked.
He scratched the back of his neck. "Well, it won't hurt just to read a bit."
"Great!" you said as you clapped your hands. "Let's head to the kitchen to read!"
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was now 4 pm and you just finished preparing dinner. You and Penguin delightfully indulged in the first volume of Sora, Warrior of the Sea. As much as you wanted to continue making fun of the captain for liking a kid's comic series, you found yourself enjoying it as well. But, you reminded yourself that the reason why you took the comic book was to blackmail your captain into never suggesting rice and grilled fish ever again. So you placed it in your shared room with Ikkaku.
You cleaned up the remaining dishes and placed them next to the sink. You made your special sushi and Soba, as per Bepo's request. You hurriedly walked out of the kitchen to go to your room, eager to read the rest of the comic before using it for blackmail.
However, when you entered your shared room and checked your bed, where you hid the book under your covers, you couldn't find it. You started to panic and started throwing your stuff around to find it. You knew Ikkaku wouldn't have taken it, she was in the boiler room all day so she wouldn't have entered the room at all.
"Fuck! It was just here! Where did it go?!" you spluttered.
You started to check your desk until you heard a knock on the door.
"One moment!" you called out.
The knock came in again, but this time someone spoke. "It's me (Y/n)-ya. Can I speak to you?"
Your blood ran cold. This was the worst timing ever, and now you were going to die today because of it.
You sped walked to the door and opened it and saw your captain standing at the door. He was wearing his usual black coat, but this time he wasn't donning his signature hat.
You laughed out of nervousness. "H-hey captain! How can I help you?" you asked.
The raven-haired man raised his eyebrows as he noticed your nervousness. "Is something the matter (Y/n)-ya? Are you unwell?" he inquisitively asked.
You waved your hand. "Nooo, I'm all okay captain. Why did you come to see me?" you said trying to change the subject.
Law wasn't convinced by your statement but continued anyway. "Bepo told me to come to you directly for food suggestions." He was struggling to meet your eyes. "Well, you told him to tell you and you're right. I should be approaching you personally for things that I request. It isn't fair to dismiss you when you're one of our important crew members." he continued. It seemed like he was trying to apologize. However, that was the least of your worries because you had a lost comic book to find and if you didn't find it soon you were good as dead.
You let out a forced laugh. "Oh it's nothing, captain, no problem, I'll make your fish and rice tonight, let me just head to the kitchen to make it right now!"
You attempted to walk past the doctor but he gently pushed you back in the room and entered with you. He promptly closed the door behind him and took a step towards you, leaning close to your face.
"(Y/n)-ya, you're hiding something aren't you?" he said, staring into you with a strange gleam in his eyes.
The air suddenly felt hot and you started sweating profusely. You looked off to the side and pursued your lips together. "I don't know what you're talking about captain."
The man's face fell into a frown. "You're a terrible liar (Y/n)-ya. You can't keep a straight face."
Your face turned red in embarrassment. Then suddenly, Law used his Devil Fruit powers to materialize the comic book into his hands. You felt like you were going to pass out.
"Oh, so you have no idea how this ended up in your room?" he said mockingly.
"H-how did you, I-i-" you stuttered in shock. Then you suddenly remember again why you took it in the first place.
"HA! I took it because I found out that you're a huge nerd! You're a huge fan of Soba, Warrior of the Sea! I will tell everyone in this submarine that you like children's comics if you continue to ask me to make your wretched rice and grilled fish again!" you said proudly. You put your hands on your hips and glared at Law, thinking that the blackmail worked.
There was a pregnant pause. But then Law did unspeakable. For the first time, he burst out laughing.
The captain was genuinely laughing. A smile adorned his face, with his eyes crinkling up in a crescent shape. This was a big shock to you because you were never met with laughter when it came to Law, only scowls, yelling and threats of violence.
But for some reason, your heart gently fluttered at the sight. To see the captain in such a new light was... interesting to say the least.
The captain collected his breath and then started to talk. "First of all, who's Soba?"
"Tonight's dinner menu," you answered with no hesitation.
The man sighed, "No, you said Soba the Great Warrior of the Sea, but it's Sora." he corrected you.
"Oh fuck." you thought. "My hungry ass was thinking thinking about soba."
"Second of all," the doctor continued, "why do you have my book?"
You were pissed off. Did he not realize that you just tried to blackmail him? "Captain, you do realize that I was trying to blackmail you right?"
Law smirked. "Is that so? Well, it's not blackmail if everyone here knows about it," he said.
You swear your brain stopped working. This whole time your plan failed because everyone but you knew that the captain was into superhero comics. You were about to feed the crew shitty food for the entire week.
Noticing that you weren't responding, the man continued to speak. "Also, Penguin told me that you enjoyed reading through it."
You gritted your teeth. "That fucking snitch, I can never tell him anything!" you muttered.
Law chuckled. "Don't worry, I blackmailed him into telling me what happened. I felt that something happening on my submarine."
So everyone's blackmail worked but yours huh? It's like the gods wanted to see you fail.
Law suddenly put down the comic book and dropped it on your bed. Then the doctor suddenly put his tattooed hand behind your neck and pulled you forward so that his mouth was next to your left ear. His cheek was leaning up against yours and you felt yourself blush and heat up from the contact.
"Why are you so adamant on pushing my buttons (Y/n)-ya?" he whispered in your ear.
You felt his goatee scrape against the bottom side of your cheek and you felt your cheeks heat up even more.
"I-I was just-" you stuttered.
"Do you want to get thoroughly punished? It's like you're asking me to punish you." he interrupted. You felt his hot breath in your ear and you swore that you were going to pass out then and there.
The doctor let go of your neck to place both hands on your shoulders and took a look at you. You couldn't tell if he was angry or not. His eyes showed a different look that you were unfamiliar with. It was like he wanted to devour you and throw you out at the same time. The man started shaking from anger for a brief moment, then he stopped and sighed in defeat.
"Your punishment is to read all 12 volumes of Sora with me," he said, finally breaking the silence.
You blankly stared at your captain. You expected that you were going to be kicked out of the crew. But a comic book club with the captain? that was new. "You want me to what?"
"I'm not repeating myself (Y/n)-ya. Since you wanted my books so bad, you will read it with me and talk about it with me," he ordered.
You started to smile out of confusion. "Hey...you just want to talk about Sora with someone don't you?" you questioned him in a teasing tone.
Law started to scowl as his ears started to turn red. "This isn't about me, I am punishing you for your ridiculous behaviour again," he growled.
You shook your head and laughed. You brushed off the man's hands on your shoulders and started to walk out of the room. "You're so cute, captain. Fine, for once I agree to do your punishment only because I think it's interesting. Come on now, dinner is going to start soon and I still have to make your disgusting rice and grilled fish meal."
"I AM NOT CUTE!" you heard the tattooed doctor shout behind your back. You didn't see it but his ears turned even more red because of your compliment. Nonetheless, the man started to follow you out of the room.
But as soon as you opened the door, you were greeted by Ikkaku standing right in front of you. Her eyes were popping out of her head as she saw both you and the captain in the room. She started giggling, as she put both of her hands on her mouth. "Oh my god."
You rolled your eyes and the captain walked passed you your fellow female crew-mate. "I was just questioning (Y/n)-ya, nothing to get worked up over with." he coolly said as he walked down the hall of the submarine.
"Girl, what happened in there?" she asked giddily.
You side-eyed the girl as you started to walk past her as well. “I tried blackmailing the captain but it didn't work.”
Ikkaku frowned and started to follow you. "Come on, what really happened?" she questioned. But you ignored her words as you started to journey into the kitchen.
You giggled as you walked down the hall. For some reason, Shachi's words replayed in your head.
"Why don't you try getting closer to him?"
A small started to form on your lips. It didn't seem like a bad idea at all.

The Best Big Sister
Flufftober, October 7th
Baby female Mikaelson reader x Hope Mikaelson
Warnings: none
a/n: I cant tell you how much I love writing big sister hope
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You crawl around the house, you've been crawling for what seems like forever, and still no sign of your big sister. Where is she?
Your Mama and Dada seem perfectly fine and they don't seem to be worrying about where Hope is. But you are, and you want to make sure she's okay and she's not gone forever and you want her. You feel lonely. You have your parents and then your uncles and aunts, but it doesn't compare to your big sister.
You slump back down onto the ground, your back leaning against one of the walls in Hope's bedroom.
As you think of Hope and how much you want her, a tingly feeling goes throughout your entire body. One second you're on the ground of your sister's room, and the next you're sitting in a small office room. It kind of looks like Uncle Elijah's study.
You hear a scream from across the room, only to see a grown man that you have never seen before.
"Holy shit!" Alaric explains, jumping up from his office chair, and walks towards you.
Hearing the unknown man's loud voice makes your face freeze up before big tears start falling down your cheeks. Not long after, your silent tears turn into wailing.
Alaric's face pales, not knowing what to do. Sure he's had twin girls that he raised, but he doesn't know what to do with a baby that just magically appeared in his office.
Before he knows it, five teens fill the office in alert. That is until they see who's making the noise and that the headmaster is doing nothing about it.
"Why do you have a baby?" Kaleb asks, breaking the silence. "Well, she just appeared and when I sort of yelled, she burst out crying.
Hope makes her way to the front of the small crowd and recognizes you instantly. "Oh my god, y/n, how are you here?" Hope says quietly and kneels in front of you.
Your wailing comes to a halt upon hearing your sister's voice. She picks you up into her arms and cradles you against her chest before standing back up. She turns to face the others who have confused looks on their faces.
"How exactly do you know a baby?" Lizzie asks, wanting to know straight away.
"She's my sister, I'm pretty sure it would be weird if I didn't know my baby sister" Hope answers her with a raised eyebrow. "You have a sister?!" Lizzie exclaims.
"I thought you knew?" Hope turns to Josie to confirm it. Josie was the one who had found out when she walked into Hope's room while she was on a video chat with Hayley, and you were in your guys' mother's arms.
"She does. I did tell you, Lizzie, that Hope has a little sister" Josie turns to her twin. Hope told her that she was only allowed to tell Lizzie and to make sure that no one else would find out except the two siphoners.
"I thought you were joking about that" Lizzie states, staring at you. You look back at her, making eye contact.
Hope sighs and rolls her eyes, it's ironic how the one in this school who basically knows everything about everyone thought that a crucial fact her sister told her, was a joke.
"Why didn't we get to know any of this?" MG speaks up, referring to Kaleb and himself.
"I'll let you think it out, you'll get there eventually" Hope quips, before walking out of the office, ignoring the protesting calls from Alaric that she can't keep a baby in the school.
Like she'd ever keep her sister here with no one to watch over you 24/7 because she has classes.
When she gets up to her room, she shifts you to her hip and brings out her phone to call your guys' dad. As she dials the number, you nuzzle into the front of her shoulder, rubbing your cheek against the soft fabric of her shirt.
"Hey Dad, by any chance are you missing a cute little baby that goes by the name of y/n?" Hope smirks, noticing Klaus' distressed answer to the call.
"Yes, why?" Klaus answers immediately. "Don't worry anymore, and stop looking. She's with me. She somehow did a spell by accident, im guessing, and wound up in Headmaster Saltzman's office. She's alright and byt the looks of it is about to fall asleep, so I can maybe drive up back to the house and drop her off tomorrow?" Hope asks since she wants to spend a night alone with you, and she secretly has a bin of things for you if you ever happen to have come here anyway.
Klaus agrees after some persuading, and she hangs up. "Time for some big sister and little sister time!" She quietly exclaims and kisses the top of your head.
Meanwhile you, on the other hand, were taking your internship at your university’s hospital. Finally after spending 20 hours at shift, you finally come home and plop in your bed. Immediately, the first thing you do is open the game of love and deep space. It’s been famous for a while now so you decided to play the game. Eventually you get attracted to a young doctor. He was the same age as you, his name was Zayne. Really smart and also to make it better he was a doctor just like you..
After doing your dailies, you decided to do the claw machine with Zayne. You swear to yourself this hasn't happened before. Why was he just…..staring at you? Staring at the screen as if he’s trying to look at you is creepy.. It was more as if he was trying to break the 4th wall….
“Who are you?” you hear zayne say. As he slowly walks towards the invisible screen. Can he see you perhaps? In an attempt, you tried exiting the game but to avail you couldn’t. Why out of all the times your screen had to freeze like this? As the man on your screen looks at the invisible barrier that separates you both, you panic and throw your phone across the room.
Were you hallucinating? It can’t..that can’t happen in the game right?
“That’s it, I'm napping. I'm not going through this anymore” you say to yourself as you head off to dreamland….
Zayne on the other hand, the young doctor was confused about what was happening. Was that… I mean her watching him the entire time? What was happening? Or is he just hallucinating? Whatever happened earlier didn't seem normal
He was lost in the sea of thoughts, until you MC snaps him out
“Zayne, are you alright?” Your Mc says as she asked the doctor in front of her, concerned.
“Don't worry, I'm alright,” He says calmly. As if he wasn't in a trance on what had just happened earlier.
As weeks go by, he eventually finds out that the world around him seemed that it was watched on. Something fictional. Zayne also later on concluded that there was someone indeed watching him, especially when he goes to destiny cafe. He also later on discovered that Mc was some sort of vessel to this person watching him.
If he had a chance to wish, he would like to meet the person in question. But how???
Meanwhile you it’s been a few days since that strange incident had happened, since then you haven’t logged back in the game yet cause of course on how packed your schedule is.
Despite the days passing as quick as a run, you still never gotten over the fact that zayne started walking towards you. You even went on twitter and asked if it was a feature in game just to find out it wasn't so how? How was that possible?
Until one day everything changed. During break, you received a message from an unknown person, and who was he? Well it was no other than him
Messages
Unknown contact: hello? Mc? Is this your new phone number?
You:Hello, who is this? The person you're referring to is not me.
Thinking about it for a moment, the name the person was referring to sounded familiar. Was it. No it couldn't be
You: wait that's actually me i'm sorry i misread earlier
Unknown contact: did you take your medicine earlier?
You: who are you?
Unknown contact: it’s me zayne, have you forgotten my phone number?
Zayne??? How was that possible? He doesn't exist. He isn’t even real but how can he contact you?
You: if you're Zayne then…..send me a pic of yourself, there’s no way you're him.
Of course the person was just joking. That actually isn't him.
As the person sends you a picture of themselves, it looks exactly like him. From his matcha - green eyes, pitch black hair, those thin lips. It was him, but how could he exist?
You: zayne…ZAYNE???
Zayne: It took me sometime on what had happened back in the claw machine. So to summarize what had happened so far from my perspective it seems like I'm in some sort of game…. And the person I was with the entire time wasn’t you.. It seems as if it was some vessel to something…
You: how did you-
Zayne: But for now the only way that i can talk to you is through here only. Sadly i can’t talk to you in the game as it is only limited
Zayne: It’s as if someone’s watching me other than you. Limiting my words everytime when you drop by the cafe just to say hello.
Days passed, work hours got longer like a pasta noodle, his sudden disappearance concerns you like the plague. Even if you were playing the game, you eventually did notice that Zayne was…eerily quiet..as if he was watching your every move, Was someone controlling him? You wonder.
Even when messaging him, he doesn't reply at all. It has almost been 3 weeks since you both last spoke and it's starting to concern you. What happened to him? You wondered as you clock in at work…..
Months passed by and since then there was no reply from him. Not even a message or anything. He’s always the same every time when you get in the game. He was like some mannequin who would stand in place, not talking or either at least greeting you good morning. Nothing. Nothing at all.
Until everything changed one day, suddenly while at work, your boss had announced that someone would be joining today at work. A cardiologist, he says. Before you could think of anything else, you froze in shock.
It was him. Were you hallucinating? It's actually him. It was no other than Zayne himself…..
After the small party of the new cardiac surgeon that just started his first day of work, You immediately pull him out of the room. He was here. You were not dreaming anymore, his actually here.
“Zayne?” you say, as you look into his eyes.
“I guess we cross paths again after so long” He says a smile forming at his lips
“What happened? Are you okay?” you ask touching both of his cheeks making sure he was real and you on the other hand was not hallucinating.
“Well maybe or not I have left that world to be with you” Zayne says taking your hand from his cheeks, to touch his.
“I'm so happy you're here” you say hugging him
“And I am too,” he says, whispering into your ear.
Nothing will happen later on right?
"I'm trusting you to take care of them, at least until I get back..."
Chan stared at his friend, "And if you don't?"
Hyunjin sucked in a breath and looked over his shoulder at Chan, "Let her... Make her... Forget me."
"Mommy what's 2 x 2?"
"Why are you worried about multiplication right now? Sugar you can't even add your hundreds place yet." You sighed.
"Uncle Ji said it's important to start early." You child pouted.
"Uncle Ji doesn't know much about math either." You chuckled.
"I second that." Chan laughed.
"Uncle Chan." She looked at the dark haired man, "What's 2 x 2?"
You gave Chan a look.
"I'll teach you another time we should work on addition first, y'know?" The man smiled.
You smiled and looked back at your work, you had been studying a certain type of guppy for just about a month now. A type of guppy that always lingered around Hyunjin's home...
You clenched for fists as you thought about that man, his beautiful sea green eyes, his gorgeous smile, the way he held you.
The doorbell made you look up. "Chan, can you get that?"
"I got it." Chan opened the door to Changbin.
"UNCLE BINNIE!" Your child ran to the short man's arms.
He them up and spun them. "Look at my favorite kid." He smiled, "You ready to go?"
Your child grabbed her bag and dragged it to the door, waving goodbye, "I'll see you in two days Mommy. Bye bye!"
You laughed lightly and waved. "Take came of her Changbin."
"I will." He called back.
You were positive she would be fine when you heard Minho's "I'll watch them both."
You kept to your work until Chan tapped your shoulder, "You're going to die of work. Go out and do something."
"Who are you my dad?" You laughed lightly. "Fine."
You picked up your computer but Chan took it from you. "Go relax... Go for a drive, go out to eat, get your nails done. SOMETHING!"
"FINE!" You huffed, muttering a you put on your shoes and grabbed your car keys.
You drove around town for a bit, looking out at the sea, you parked by the beach and walked to the shore, taking off your shoes and sitting there on the sand.
You watched as the water lapped around your bare feet, remembering sitting here with Hyunjin, who seemed shocked that crabs could be so mean when he didn't appear like a merman. You smiled and gripped the sand between your fingers before reaching up and playing with your sun charm.
You lie back on the sand as you remembered the day you and Hyunjin sat on the beach at night, the moon was full and he was talking about his parents.
"And apparently, my dad was the most romantic guy ever. But I can't be so sure about that now."
You giggled. "Do you think I'll meet your parents?"
He looked at you. "Maybe..."
"Maybe?" You tilted your head at him.
"I'd have to make you my mate first." He smirked.
"You'd bite me?" You laughed. "Like a werewolf?"
He made a face and grabbed your face. "I'd present you to the Mother of the Sea and beg for her blessing. I'd give you all my air..." he looked into your eyes and you felt your face get hot. "And then..." He leaned in close so his lips brushed against your jaw. "I'd give you my seed."
You shoved his face and hid yours in embarrassment as he cackled.
"Is it so bad to you???!" He laughed.
"No just..." You looked at him. "You've already done 1 of those things."
He smirked. "Then let me do it again.." he took your hand into his and kissed your wrist then your arm before moving to your neck.
You blushed deeply as your remember how he'd practically dragged you under the water and done... jiendsjiok Y/n. Focus..."Hyune... Where are you?"
Uncle Changbin and Uncle Minho had taken me around all day, we went to the mall, to the park, then we went to go eat, when we finally got to Minho's place and I went to bed I smiled slightly to myself. Mommy never let me go out often.
It was late, I was staring up at the ceiling, I wonder what Daddy's doing right now... the thought of my father made me smile, I still remembered his pretty face. Mommy used to smile more then. It's been two years if I've done my math right.
I hugged my narwal plushie that he bought me the last time we went to the aquarium together. I closed my eyes and whispered softly, "Mother of Sea... bring my daddy back." And I fell asleep.
Mommy says I got my hyper awareness from Daddy. The soft sound of steps woke me up and I froze. The steps weren't near the door or in the hall. They were in the room.
My eyes focused into the darkness and I glanced around without rolling over. I tried to look like I was sleeping as the steps grew closer, was it a monster? was it the boogey man my friends at school talked about...
"Jazz hands and flash." Daddy's voice came to my mind, I was 4 then and he told me to be careful when I flared my hands out because my claws would appear...
The steps grew closer and I swallowed, should I scream for Uncle Changbin...
I should scream..
The steps were beside my bed now.
The shadow stretched over my bed, moonlight from the window pouring in.
I saw the hand reaching for me.
One...
"Deep breaths.." I sucked in a slow, steady breath.
Two...
"Jazz hands..."
Three...
"FLASH!"
I flared my hands out and my claws connected with a hard substance that made me cry out in pain and pull my hands back. The person grabbed me suddenly and I shrieked.
The door burst open and Uncle Changbin was lunging claws out. Another person flew and slammed him hard into the wall just as Uncle Minho ran for me.
My gaze locked on the corner of the room. There was a woman who looked like my mommy dressed differently, like the olden days.. I was pulled out of my window as my uncles shouted.
Something pricked my arm and then the world went dark.
It was so hot... so hot he couldn't move. The heat crushing him place almost.. He looked up as he heard the door to the chamber open.
"Time to eat." the maid said as she set the food in front of Hyunjin.
He stared at it for a long time and as he reached for it he heard a voice.
It's the food...
And he pulled back, smacking the food away with his tail and shouting. "LET ME GO!"
The maid looked at him for a moment, before she shook her head and walked away.
I struggled for a moment before I heard the voice.. her voice... "Hyunjin... it's almost time."
You stood there in shock. Chan was very quiet. Changbin winced as Jeongin dabbed at the wounds on his neck.
"It was the royal guard." Minho said softly.
You looked at the floor, squeezing your necklace...
"Why would they take her.." Chan finally spoke.
Yongbok twirled his thumbs. "How did they even know she existed?!"
Seungmin sighed. "If it's the royal guard it had to have been a roayl decree."
"HOW WOULD KING JINYOUNG HAVE EVEN KNOWN ABOUT HER THOUGH?!" Jisung shouted. "THEY COULD KILL HER!"
The boys went quiet and Chan said softly. "He's been king for a long time."
The others looked at him.
"Chan what are you thinking.." Seungmin whispered.
Chan sat up straight. "I guess I owe you all an explanation."
If there was ever a merboy King Jinyoung put effort into. That boy would be Chan. That boy who was made to be a model king, his parents were impossibly proud of him for being so close to the king. It was when he was thirteen the king really took him in. Fight like this. Kill humans like that. Humans are evil because of this.
It was when Chan met his friends things became a little different, he was freer, the group following him around as it grew, and Hyunjin... Hyunjin who told Chan first where he got his necklace... who told Chan first he felt drawn to you.. who told Chan first that the child was his.. who trusted his love and daughter to Chan.
And Chan gradually slipped away from the king of the sea. But everyone knew.. from the Arctic to the southern most sea, and all the way back again they all knew the next king of the sea was going to be Chan.
And Chan neglected his duty.
"If we're going to get her," Jisung stared at you. "You need to blend into the sea."
You pursed your lips. "Huh-"
Seungmin hummed and circled you. "An octopus or a sea horse..."
"I think she'd make a good shark woman personally." Minho said.
"I agree." Jeongin seconded.
You made a face. "Why can't I be a pretty mermaid like you guys?"
"Because," Yongbok huffed, "Not all of us look the same." He cleared his throat and glanced at Changbin, "First girlfriend had tentacles."
Changbin shouted. "SHE WAS REALLY PRETTY THOUGH!"
They all shrugged.
"Don't listen to them." Chan sighed. "I have something ready already."
They all looked at Chan.
"Watch him make her some ugly black thing-"
"Betta cross." Chan said, looking you over, "Y/N would look good as a Betta fish with a mix of mandarin... Don't you all agree?"
The boys tilted their heads at you.
"Yes." Minho said.
"Definitely." Changbin smiled.
"She'd look gorgegous." Jisung jumped.
"Stunning." Felix nodded.
Seungmin shrugged.
"I think she'd look really pretty." Jeongin agreed.
"What on earth-" You started but the men practically dragged you to your car and put you in the drivers seat, before crowding in your van.
"Drive." Chan said. "We're going to the beach."
for yall who are wondering this is a betta fish (siamese fighting fish).
Chan stared at the shore. "This brings back memories..." He exhaled slowly.
"It's now or never." Jeongin huffed, taking off his expensive human trinkets and leaving them in your car.
You stared at the sea. "If they hurt my baby. I'll dump plastic."
The boys all blinked at you in shock.
"Gimme the pill." You huffed.
Chan cleared his throat and put the pill in your hand.
The boys jumped into the water one by one and you watched as they swam away, clothes washing up to the shore.
You looked at Chan who tilted his head to the water, "After you."
You sucked in a breath and jumped into the water, shoving the pill into your mouth and gasping, watching the bubbles float to the surface before you tried to move you legs. You looked down and shrieked.
Jisung and Seungmin snickered at your reaction.
Yongbok swam around happily. "YOU'RE SO PRETTY!"
You looked at them. Chan dove into the water and you turned away as his legs became one and when you looked back, there was a dark blue tail.
He smiled. "The look suits you..."
You looked down at the big tail, sparkling scales and pretty frills waving and wafting in the current. Hyunjin would've thought it was so gorgeous..
You exhaled. "Lets go."
You followed the boys deep into the water, the coral grew larger, then you saw another merman swim by. Your eyes widened at the sight of a more merpeople, the boys weren't lying, they were all built differently. Some with octopus arms and others with shark teeth.
You pursed your lips as a merman with a striped tail in gold, brown, and black like a lionfish..
Jeongin nudged you. "He's venomous.."
You blinked a few times and nodded. "Noted."
You felt like the merpeople you passed were staring at you and suddenly you forgot how to work your tail. Could they tell you were human..?
Jisung turned and grabbed you, dragging you after the rest of the group. "You're pretty, like.. top tier mermaid princess kind of pretty.." He smiled. "It's natural for them to stare. They'd think the mother of the sea blessed you with her beauty."
You tried to assure yourself that they couldn't tell you were human.
Chan swam towards a huge rock structure and smiled at you. "The person in here is trustworthy." He motioned for you to enter.
You saw a very pretty mermaid with big black eyes her tail was gold and yellow with black spots and there was spines all over it.
"Chan... who is this pretty girl and why is this the first time I'm meeting her?" She circled you a few times and her tail swished happily. "Is she a model for me?"
"Rin-" Chan started but the mermaid lifted your arms and started using a length of something to measure you.
"Rin she's-" Seungmin tried.
"I have just the thing for you darling!" She started running off to get something but Chan grabbed her arm and dragged her back.
"She's human!" He whispered shouted.
Rin's eyes widened. "This is Hyunjin's.."
The boys nodded.
She smiled at you, much calmer than before. "I'm Rin, I'm glad to finally meet you."
"Rin." Yongbok said, "Did the royal guard bring a little human girl through?"
"They did actually." She sighed. "While you were gone King Jinyoung said he'd found the Heart of the Sea."
Chan's eyes widened. "What?"
"It's encased in something, they say the girl is the key to opening it." She looked at you. "That girl is your daughter isn't she?"
You nodded and took a few breaths trying to collect yourself.
Changbin took your hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze. "Can you keep her h-"
"No!" You snapped, pulling away from Changbin. "I'm not staying when some 500 year old man kidnapped my daughter! No! I'm going with you!"
Chan pursed his lips. "Please... Y/N-"
"I'm going and you can't stop me." You touched your face as something behind your ears flared.
Minho hummed. "She's still pretty while she's angry."
"Fine." Chan sighed. "Hands up."
You put your hands up and he flared his hands before baring his nails at you. You jumped back on instinct as his claws appeared.
"Do it." He glared at you. "If you can't, you can't come with us."
You shrank under his condescending gaze.
"Well?" Chan raised a brow at you.
Rin swam between you two. "You're scaring her Chan."
"Stay." He told you.
"Chan that isn't fair to her-" Rin started.
"Yea-" Jeongin started.
The appendages behind Chan's ears flared and he shouted. "She stays. That's final."
The boys and Rin all went quiet.
"Let's go." Chan huffed, swimming out.
The boys looked at you and swam after him, Yongbok smiled at you. "We'll get her back.."
Hyunjin tugged at the chains. He pulled and pulled until his wrists went raw.
"Food time." the maid entered and the heat from the bubbling hydrothermal vents calmed somewhat.
Hyunjin looked at her. "What's happening up there... It's loud."
"The king has found the key to the Heart of the Sea. The sacrifice is in two days time." She said as she set the food down. "I suggest you stop struggling, by the time you get out that half human brat will be dead."
Hyunjin's eyes widened. "If you scum touch her-" Hyunjin tuggd at his chains with all his might and he felt them shift in the sand.
"What will you do?" a voice said behind the maid.
She quickly bowed and excused herself.
Jinyoung stared down at Hyunjin. "I'm going to restore the Merman empire. And when I do, merpeople like you will stop existing."
Hyunjin's eyes narrowed. "You're a monster."
"A monster who cares for his people. And if I have to kill a few humans to reach my goal... So be it."
Hyunjin tore from his chains and vaulted for Jinyoung.
The older merman was stronger than he looked, throwing Hyunjin hard against the rock of the dungeon.
Hyunjin's vision blurred as he slumped to the floor. He saw a luminescent something before he felt the sting and his vision went dark.
Jinyoung stared at the almost diamond casing of the heart of the sea. He looked at the child sleeping in the bubble, it resembled Hyunjin so much.
He held the dagger Chan and his friends had recovered. This was for his people..
"Your highness." a servant entered and bowed, "Chan is here."
"Send him in." Jinyoung covered the child with the seaweed curtains and turned as Chan entered the room.
"My king." Chan bowed.
"Chan, please."
Chan looked up and locked eyes with him. "It's been almost two years since Hyunjin disappeared..."
"A tragedy really." Jinyoung swam to the wall of his study and traced the shelf.
"He had a lover." Chan said softly. "A lover I promised to protect.. and he had a child a child I'd give my life for."
Jinyoung turned eyes wide, the appendages behind his ears flaring. "That half human bastard child!"
"She is not a bastard child!" Chan's eyes narrowed. "In 2 days the moon will be full and at its strongest, the tides low, the fish will move for the coast. The Coral Palace will be accessible. If we have the Heart of the Sea."
"So what?" Jinyoung glared at Chan... This boy can't read through me.
"The Mother of the Sea blesses one. One person to harness the Heart of the Sea." Chan looked at the seaweed curtain, "And Hyunjin's daughter is missing."
"What' the point of all this? You want me to search for a mista-"
"No." Chan moved so fast, Jinyoung barely saw him before Chan's claws were at his throat. "I challenge you."
"Chan!" Minho and Yongbok came around the corner just in time to see it. Their eyes went wide.
"Park Jinyoung. I, Bang Christopher Chan, challenge you to be King of the Sea." Chan said coldly.
Jinyoung stared at him for a long moment. "I accept.."
You sat with Rin talking about the quality of her clothes.
"But really..." she sighed looking at you. "You shouldn't mind it."
"Don't mind what?" You raised a brow.
"How Chan talks to you..."
You looked at her. "Of course I shou-"
"Chan is going to be the next king one day. Simply by being in contact with you, he's risking his future." She said quietly. "By hiding the secret about your daughter for so long... He's risking his life."
Your eyes widened slightly. "So.."
"He's mean sometimes but it's because he cares.." she smiled, "So don't let that get to you."
You nodded, looking at your hands. "I'm just worried about C/n.. and Hyunjin.."
Rin smiled and took your hand in hers. "It'll be okay..."
She spoke too soon.
"RIN!" Minho entered the coral building with such speed he was dragging bubbled behind him, eyes wide and frantic with fear. "Chan challenged the king!"
He opened his eyes again... he felt so tired.. His sea green eyes looked over the hydrothermal vents and he tugged at his chains. He'd broken free before.. why couldn't he now?
He felt something.. something.
Turn. Hyunjin turn your damn head. He turned his head with so much effort and he saw it. The jellyfish that had stung him. He sucked in a breath and exhaled, how the hell did he let this happen.
"SHIT!" He shouted as he realized what would happen. He pulled at his chains. Y/N, C/N, Chan, Changbin, Yongbok, Jeongin EVERYONE!
Hyunjin pulled at the chains one last time before giving up.
He sank to the floor and grit his teeth as he remembered the last time he'd seen you.
"You'll come back right?" You looked up at him with the saddest look in your eyes.
"Of course I'll come back.. when haven't I?"
And how you'd kissed him as if it was the last time you ever would.
Hyunjin screamed and pulled at the chains again, he looked up at a little ball of light in the distance and somehow he saw you... No.. not you.. but you.. dressed in something so much like the old days hundreds of years ago.
"The Heart of the Sea is here... it's been waiting on you."
By the time you got to the arena area Chan was in the sand, the man he was fighting, who you assumed was Jinyoung, was beating the crap out of him. The other people watched with sad expressions as Chan got punched again..
You swam to the closest place you could to see. "CHAN!"
Minho tried to move over the coral railing as King Jinyoung's claws emerged, but Changbin held him back.
"He's going to kill him!" You shouted.
Jisung grabbed you around your waist and held you back. "That's how the challenge works... the one who lives is king..."
You stared with wide scared eyes as blood swirled into the water. "Chan.."
You tried to pull away from Jisung as Jinyoung released Chan and stood straight. Chan lie there in the sand, blood curling up into the water. Was he dead... Chan... dead?
Something in you snapped and you tore from Jisung's arms with alarming force.
This man. This King of the Sea. He'd kidnapped your daughter. He'd destroyed your peace. He'd forced Hyunjin to go back to the ocean. He'd hurt Chan.
You tore through the water, seeing red, you felt numb. There was nothing but this Jinyoung. This monster.
You raised your hands on instinct and felt your nails shifting on your skin before you really saw red. Your barbed claws buried themselves in Jinyoung's chest just as the royal guards swam for you, just as Chan sprung back up, just as the crowd screamed and a messenger shouted over the arena... "THE SEA DEVIL IS FREE!"
Hyunjin woke up in a bed. It wasn't soft by any means but he wasn't complaining, a familiar warmth was pressed to his chest and he smiled as he held her tighter pressing his nose against he head, the familiar scent filled his nostrils.
He opened his an eye and smiled at you. He barely noticed the sheets looked different.. how strange they felt, he heard something and tensed.
"What is it?" You looked up at him.
"Nothing.." He lied. "Go back to sleep." He got up from the bed, and stepped on to wood flooring. His brows furrowed as he realized... this floor wasn't the one in your house.
He went to the door and felt something looming over it as he opened the door and walked into the hall, the chairs in different rooms looked old... and he saw it... a baby crib... His eyes widened, that wasn't..
The sound of the front door opening made him turn with such speed he could have cracked his neck.
"The oceanic beast is here!" Someone shouted.
Hyunjin turned to run back to your bedroom but someone grabbed him and he shouted, "Y/N!"
He heard you scream as you were dragged from your bedroom.
Hyunjin saw red and before he could stop himself he spun from the people holding him and slashed their throats, Lunging for the men holding you. Heavy metal chains fell around him and he was pulled back baring his claws.
You shook your head, tears streaming down your face.
And Hyunjin stopped struggling.
He let the people drag him away...
From where he was chained in the village square he'd seen you multiple times, but you were always with someone, they always kept you away... and one night he heard something and looked up.
The moon was full and he saw his people storming the village..
You came running to him, and as you tried to unshackle his chains he stared with wide eyes as a long dagger, tore through you. "Y/N!"
Your grip on his chains slackened and Hyunjin tore away from where he was held about to lunge for the person but he froze. It was a boy... a merboy, no older than 16.
"Human devils and Sea devils are the banes of this world. You should die!" The boy shouted.
And as he opened his mouth to shout a human sword ran him through.
"You can't let the past repeat itself..."
He looked up at you. Or what looked like you.
"You have to go now..."
"But-"
"Hyunjin..." You leaned to him and kissed him gently. "Give me your air."
Hyunjin screamed and tore his chains from the ground, swimming to the stalactite edge of his enclosure and pounding on it before he slammed into it and the rock crumpled. He swam up frantically towards light, and surfaced in the remnants of the Coral Palace.
He stared around for a long time. Then his ear appendages twitched and he turned in the direction of the New Palace.
Jinyoung held his chest and stumbled back. His eyes widening at the sight of you. "HUMAN!"
The crowd gasped and Chan stood in front of you, defensively, "She's trustworthy-"
"NO HUMAN IS TRUSTWORTHY! ARREST HER!"
"Your highness, the moon-" A frantic servant tried to say but Jinyoung pushed him aside and swam for the palace.
Guards circled you and Chan as the others tried to get to you and the crowd began to panic.
"UP!" Chan grabbed you and slammed his tail hard, sending you shooting upwards before he released you and began to swim as fast as he could.
You followed before you looked back. "I can't.."
Chan looked at you. "Y/n! We need to go!"
"Chan..." You breathed before turning back to the palace. "She's all I have."
Before he could stop you, you swam around the guards and followed Jinyoung into the palace. You followed the merman as he swerved through the palace and then you finally caught up to him as he stopped in front of a seaweed curtain.
"JINYOUNG!"
He pulled out a bubbled and turned to you. Inside the bubble was.. your daughter..
The artifact Hyunjin had stolen from the museum in his other hand. "With this dagger... Mother of the Sea... Bless the Heart! And devour Man."
You screamed as he raised the dagger. "NO!" You swam for him but something was faster, grabbing Jinyoung and slashing his face. He dropped the bubble and you dove for it. Looking up, you stared in shock at the familiar figure. "Hyunjin.."
"You want the heart..." he said lowly, raking his claw over his palm, blood coiled from the wound into the water as Hyunjin grabbed a crystal locked object.
You stared at it. Jin-young sprang up to attack Hyunjin but something slowed him...
Hyunjin gripped the crystal and shouted. "COME GET IT!"
And it shattered.
Jin-young stared at him. "This can't be... You're not- You can't- You... You love that HUMAN! You're not one of us! TRAITOR! LIAR! DEVIL!"
Hyunjin tossed the crystal to the ground before staring a beautiful blue pearl.
"This... is for 500 years ago." Hyunjin grabbed the dagger from the floor and stabbed the pearl.
Jin-young screamed and lunged for him but Chan swam past you and grabbed the shrieking king. "Your dynasty is over."
Hyunjin's brows furrowed before he swam and covered your eyes. And yet you couldn't mistake the sound of Jin-young's neck breaking.
It took several hours to get everything handled with your daughter as she couldn't believe Hyunjin was back. Chan was going to recover and the planning of a formal coronation was under way. It was early the next morning, when you finally got home, settling your daughter into bed. But now you had questions.
"Where were you.." you whispered as you returned your home.
Hyunjin looked at you. "Jinyoung ordered me to return and kept me when I tried to leave. He... he imprisoned me in the Coral Palace and I saw... you..."
You looked into his eyes. "You were gone. I thought you-"
Hyunjin remembered what he begged Chan to do and bit his plump lip.
"I thought you left us." You whispered.
Hyunjin fell from the couch on his knees in front of you. "No... Jagiya no..." he breathed. "I would never."
You felt the tears welling in your eyes as he took your hands in his. "I'm sorry... you've been struggling and I just-"
"No. Don't apologize. I.. I should've figured out something-"
"You were in a dungeon, I was just here and-" the tears started streaming down your face before you could stop them. "C/n would ask where you were and I wouldn't know what to say.."
Hyunjin took your face in his hands and shushed you, wiping your tears. "You did amazing..." He whispered. "You are amazing.."
You looked into his pretty green eyes as you tried to control your tears. "I missed you.."
He smiled gently and leaned to press his forehead against yours. "I'm here... I'm finally back... And I'm never going to go again.."
You kissed him softly. He held you against him, pushing his tongue past your lips and sighing as he tasted you for the first time in so long. "Let me..." He breathed.
"What..." You exhaled.
"Make you mine. I want you to meet my parents." He muttered. "But first-"
You didn't let him finish his sentence before you pounced on him.
Your lips were molded to his in a desperate heated kiss as you ran your fingers through his long hair. He muttered against your lips "I love you so much..." as he lifted you, hands firmly on your butt with your legs wrapped around his waist.
He carried you to your bedroom, lip never leaving yours as he set you down on the bed, leaning into you, pulling your shirt over your head as you worked at his pants. He smiled against your lips after he pulled the shirt off you, "Shit, I missed this.."
You gasped as his lips moved to your throat and he bit gently at the skin before kissing and licking at your chest as you mewled softly.
He lifted you and unclipped your bra before taking your of your nipples into his mouth. He groaned as you pulled off his pants just enough to palm at his cock through his boxers. He moved lower kissing at your stomach before kneeling as he pulled your pants and panties off, looking up at you past your breasts. His eyes met yours, pupils blown wide with desire.
His green eyes trailed to your pussy before he leaned in and kissed your clit gently before giving it gentle licks.
You whined and grabbed at his hair.
"Shh.." He hummed, "I've got you pretty thing." He took one of your hands in his and your fingers intertwined as he began licking and sucking at your clit.
You tugged at his hair and gasped, "Hyunjin-"
He groaned into your womanhood, the vibrations sending sparks down your spine before he pushed a long finger into you. You moaned at the stretch and Hyunjin hummed.
"You missed me filling your pretty pussy?" he whispered as he moved his finger in and out green eyes admiring the way your slick coated the digit, before he pushed in another.
You gasped as he curled his fingers to rub your g-spot. He fingered you faster, grinding his palm against your clit, you moaned louder as you felt the familiar knot tightening in you gut. Hyunjin moved up and kissed you moaning as you pulled his hair.
Hyunjin released your hand and took his hand to your clit, rubbing in figure 8 motions as you moaned.
"Cum for me, baby.." He whispered.
And the knot inside you snapped, you jerked as your vision went white and Hyunjin continued fingering you stretching your orgasm thin.
He pulled away and drew his fingers out slowly, admiring your slick as he licked his fingers clean, groaning at your taste. He pulled his shirt and pants off, dragging the boxers as well before grabbing your legs and dragging you to the edge of the bed.
He looked down in you eyes as he took his shaft into his hand, rubbing the tip against you slit and slapping it against your clit. You whimpered and he smiled as he pushed into you before leaning over you.
You both moaned as he sank into your tight heat.
"I love you so much..." he breathed, kissing you as he pulled out. He pushed in slowly and the kiss swallowed your moans as he repeated the motion, pushing into you over and over. He pulled away to look into your eyes before he stood to his full height and grabbed your hips.
You gasped as he began fucking into you roughly, desperately, even, as if you might disappear, as if he were dreaming. You moaned as his cock reached deep inside you, brushing your cervix.
"I missed you so much... I thought you'd forgotten me... moved on.. given yourself to someone else." He groaned and and wrapped your legs around his waist, moving you up on the bed and slowing his thrusts. "This is mine.." He kissed your hand,"mine." he kissed your stomach, "mine..." he the valley between your breasts, "mine.." he kissed your lips, "mine. You are mine.." He slammed into you so hard it knocked the air out of your lungs and the bed creaked.
"Hyunjn-" You reached to hold onto him and he took your hand again, kissing your palm as he started pounding into you again, his eyes glazed over and distant but at the same time so focused on you and only you.
You the human he learned to trust. You the girl he used to think about all the time. You the girl who seemed to be everywhere he was. You the only woman he would ever love. You his human.. the mother of his child.. his savior.. you.. the Heart of the Sea.
"I'm not leaving you again... never.." he breathed as he moved faster. "'M going to stay for our little family.. for you." He leaned down and kissed you, muffling your cries as he picked up the pace. "I'm going to cum..."
You gasped and whined as you felt the knot building in you again. "Me too.."
He licked two fingers and brought them to your clit. "Come on jagiya, you can give me one more baby..." He rubbed furiously. "Please he whined and you came again, pussy clenching tightly on Hyunjin.
He moaned and grit his teeth as he came as well. His hips bucked to yours as he released load after load into you before falling over you, holding himself up with his forearms.
You pulled him down to you, his head resting on your bare chest, sweat slicked bodies pressed together and you whispered, running your hand through his damp hair, "I love you, Hyune... Welcome home.."
Warnings: fem!reader (she/her pronouns used), based on 2x10 “this is not for tears,” established relationship, alcohol, ken suicide joke (one line, nbd), roman jokingly calls something 'domestic abuse' it certainly is NOT that, normal Roman shenanigans
Word Count: 1.1k
A.N: guys, I usually write fantasy so this dialogue may just suck ass im SORRY LMAO, lemme know what you think!!! Hope you guys enjoy! Roman is so bbg
•
The Mediterranean sun warms your exposed skin while the sea breeze keeps you from getting uncomfortably hot. The Roy's certainly knew how to take a vacation.
Roman lazily drapes his arm over your shoulders, the small act of casual intimacy in front of his siblings something you still can't really get used to just yet. The family, you learned pretty quickly, was not a clingy one, so Roman's constant need to be touching you in some way in front of them was unexpected.
You sigh happily at his side, ignoring the boring work talk the siblings had already immersed themselves in.
The weather was just too divine for you to focus on anything other than the free vacation and your boyfriend.
Shiv's piercing blue eyes peer curiously over her dark sunglasses. Her gaze causes you to straighten your back and shift ever so slightly away from Roman. You've noticed that her and Tom were never exactly touchy, but then again her and Tom were barely a loving couple.
The harsh scrutiny of her stare doesn't go unnoticed by Roman, who immediately pulls you back closer to him. Your cheeks flush at his blatant display of affection.
"Something the matter, Siobhan?" Roman asks, his voice slightly higher than usual with a British twang to it. His fingers absentmindedly trace odd shapes across your back. He sips at his cocktail, eyebrows raised waiting for her retort.
Shiv’s intense gaze slowly slides over to Kendall. Their older brother offers your group a half-assed shrug.
"Nothing at all, Roman." She offers you both a tight-lipped smile, swirling her white wine in front of her.
Awkwardly you lean back into him as he sarcastically grumbles something under his breath, unconvinced. Roman’s body in tense beside you, but stays firmly pressed next to your own.
Sounds of waves crashing against the yacht and distant conversations almost lure you to sleep though the three sibling’s chatter keeps you just conscious enough that you don’t completely drift off.
You hear Kendall get up from his seat, his joints popping.
"I'm gunna go check on dad," He says, voice low though he knows you're not actually asleep. "I'll catch you guys later."
"Just don't jump off the boat, Ken. We're not turning the ship around just for your old-ass." Roman jokes before yelping at Shiv's slap to the shoulder.
You hide your tiny grin with a fake yawn.
"Very funny, Rome," Ken mutters before leaving the three of you.
It's awkward, just the three of you alone; the tension is so thick it could be cut with a knife. Shiv clears her throat and you can only imagine the patronizing look she has on her face. Roman shifts, and most likely flips her off, but otherwise he's silent.
Moments later you hear the thud of expensive yet tacky yachting shoes against the floorboards, which could only mean Tom.
"Shiv, uh," The man stutters, obviously distracted by something. Slowly you open an eye, peering over at the man. "Why don't we go and uh, discuss that thing from before, huh?"
Tom's eyes can barely settle on one thing, he looks between you and Roman before only briefly settling on his wife. His cheeks are a little red, but with a man that pasty, it's sure to be a light sunburn.
"Oh yeah?" She asks, almost seductively, blue eyes twinkling with some hidden secret.
Tom's lips tilt down into a frown, now no longer even looking in your direction. He's jealous, you figure, you've never seen him and Shiv cuddled up like this, at least not comfortably so. Someone is always tense and irritated.
After sparing her husband a glance, you see her eyes narrow and her lips drawing into a tight line.
You offer them a smile while Roman once again gives a rude gesture.
Swiftly, Shiv rises from her seat, empty wine glass in hand. She barely gestures a simple goodbye before walking away with Tom. You watch as she says something to him, which makes him recoil from her.
You could only imagine what that was about, but you figure it was you and Roman.
You press your cheek even harder against Roman's chest, almost like you're trying to burrow your way under his skin. The fresh white linen shirt he's wearing is soft underneath you. His uncalloused fingertips continue to dance across your exposed arm.
He's no longer tense, you notice; his muscles are more relaxed now that his siblings are nowhere to be seen. Logan wasn't around either, which eased the thick and looming tension that usually hung around the family.
Roman chuckles, tangling his feet around yours.
"What's got you all giggly today?" You ask, closing your eyes as you soak in more of the warmth.
"I'm not giggly, thank you very much. Giggling is for school girls and wine drunk single moms."
"Yeah, ok," You snort, smiling.
"You're just all over me like a fucking uh--"
"Koala?"
"Nah, more like one of those bigass fucking boa constrictors, y'know the ones I'm talking about?"
"A boa constrictor?" You gasp, jokingly offended at his words. Shifting from your position you eye your boyfriend. "You asshole!" Grabbing a small pillow from beside you, you hit him square in the chest repeatedly.
You're hovering over him, knees on either side of his hips, pinning him to the couch below him.
"Hey, hey!" He laughs, attempting to grab your wrists. "This is domestic abuse! ABUSE! ABUSE! Greg call the cops, she's beating me!"
Somewhere in the distance you can only faintly hear Greg stutter something, but your laughter is too loud to actually make it out.
Roman finally grabs the decorative pillow out of your hands and flings it somewhere.
His brown hair is messy, strands dangle in front of his eyes, no longer slicked back and proper. The laughter dies down but his bright smile remains, melting your heart.
"You're an absolute prick, Roman Roy, y'know that?" You whisper, lips lingering right over his.
"Oh I know," He smirks, irritatingly handsome like usual, eyes flicking between your own and your lips. "And you fucking love it."
Surging up, his lips connect with yours, traces of coconut and pineapple left on his tongue. The sweetness of rum mingles with the fruity aftertaste.
Humming in satisfaction, you close your eyes and place your hands on either side of his face, leaning into the kiss. Roman's light scruff rubs against your palms.
Eventually you pull back in order to breathe in the salty Mediterranean air. Roman's lips chase after your own, hoping to continue and subsequently never stop again.
"Yeah, I do." You sigh, gazing at his eyes as they turn into a molten shimmering gold hue in the afternoon sun.
All Y/N ever wanted to do was sing her songs and be free. Yet somehow, after offering to pay for the meal of a certain boy in a straw hat she finds herself causing havoc through the East Blue.
Masterlist - Next.
Trigger warning: canon violence. Word count: 8K
A/N: The only thing I will be describing about Y/N is her hair colour. Everything else you can imagine her as you wish.
Disclaimer: The songs I will be using in this fic aren't mine bc I have 0 creativity. I'm sorry.
Middle of the ocean, Nami's boat.
"Sooner or later, I'll wander into the unknown
Sooner or later, you'll face the world on your own
Who will you hang to when you're left all alone?
When the night grows cold, and the winds have blown--"
"....give me some quiet and some space?"
Nami's annoyed voice made Y/N look up from her booklet to Luffy chasing after his hat, it came right to where he was sitting at the nose of the boat. So, she simply stretched her arm to catch it just before it could fly away.
"Here," Y/N gave the thankful Luffy his hat back who took it with a small smile while mumbling his gratitude.
"Not cool," Luffy then turned to Nami, more serious than Y/N had ever seen him be. "Don’t mess with my hat."
"Why do you care so much about that hat anyway?" Y/N asks, glancing back down at her notes.
"Yeah, It looks like you fished it out of the trash," Nami added as she continued to try and unlock the safe.
Luffy smiles down his straw hat "One man’s trash is another man’s treasure."
"That still doesn't answer the question, stud."
Zoro groans inside the cabin, "Will you three knock it off? I’m trying to take a nap."
"Oh, I’m sorry," Nami said sarcastically, rolling her eyes. "Were we interrupting your beauty sleep?"
"Don’t like what you see? Look away."
Y/N chuckles at the response, however, her laughter is interrupted by the sound of the lock clicking making her snap her head towards Nami who was opening the door of the safe.
"You did it," Luffy exclaimed.
"Holy shit," Y/N swiftly stands and makes her way to stand next to Nami. She smiles at the orange-haired girl, "You actually did it, Pumpik."
They all looked down at the inside of the safe and it's content. Y/N was a little disappointed there wasn't anything special in it, not treasures one assumes a safe would keep, instead, there were some confidential files and a wanted poster for a pirate named Kuro. And then there was the golden map tube, the only valuable thing.
Nami reaches over and takes it. She hastily takes the top off and pulls out the map causing Y/N to let out a breathy sigh.
"That’s it?" Zoro deadpanned unimpressed by the findings, "Isn’t there supposed to be gold inside a safe? Or jewels?"
Nami looks at the green-haired boy in disbelief, "This is more valuable than gold. It’s knowledge. This is a map to the Grand Line."
"The Grand Line. Ah," Luffy, with his usual smile, stares at the map in Nami's hands."The Grand Line is just right… Where is it exactly?"
Y/N looks at the boy with narrow confused eyes, "Seriously?"
"You’re going there, but you don’t know where it is?" Sharing Y/N's thoughts, Nami asks.
"Guess I need a navigator on my crew," Luffy stated grinning at Nami.
"Oh, god," Y/N mumbles, cursing herself for being so stupid to think Luffy could take her to The Grand Line. Maybe she can steal the map at some point or draw a copy and go herself.... thought going solo wasn't a great idea. Not when ghosts continue to hunt for her.
They follow Nami inside the small cabin.
"The seas are divided into four quadrants." Nami grabs some chalk and starts drawing down on the hanging table. "East Blue, North Blue, West, South. This thin strip of land that circles the globe is called the Red Line, and this band across the middle is the Grand Line."
"A treacherous stretch of ocean with bigger islands, bigger cities, bigger pirates. Flush with riches and ripe for the picking." Nami grins.
Y/N regards the drawing with a soft frown as she recalls her past "And way more dangerous..."
"That’s where we’re gonna find the One Piece!" Luffy exclaims.
"I’ve taken out a lot of pirates looking for that thing," Zoro says before asking. "What is it? Like, a big diamond or something?"
"It’s Gold Roger’s treasure," Luffy told him. ""He hid it somewhere in the Grand Line. All in one piece."
"It’s a myth. The reason no one’s found it in 22 years is that it doesn’t exist." Nami says with exasperation.
"Reckon he just said it to piss off the Marines," Y/N hums, "Admirable."
Luffy grins at the girls. "Can’t wait to see the look on your faces when we find it."
"If you find it you mea--"
The sound of an explosion cut Y/N off sending all four of them into alarm mode.
"Is that the Marines?" Zoro asks placing his hands on his katanas.
Y/N quickly pulls her war-fans from her skirt. "Shit. Are they?"
They walk out to the deck. Nami mumbles "How did they find us?"
Y/N looks up with a frown for from the skies, some red dust falls upon them, slowly enveloping them. She was begging to feel dizzy, and very sleepy... with dread, Y/N realized what it was. This has been used on her before.
Nami was out first.
"This smoke smells weird," Luffy mumbles, feeling the effects of the dust.
Zoro was next.
"Luffy, the ma..." Before she could finish she felt the world went dark.
Y/N's bare feet danced across the warm sand, her laughter mingling with the gentle lapping of the waves. With each step, she felt the freedom of the island envelop her, a secret sanctuary where worries vanished like mist under the morning sun. She glanced back, her eyes alight with mischief as she spotted her much younger sister, Miri, darting through the bustling market stalls.
"Come on, Miri! You'll never catch me!" Y/N called, her voice carried away by the salty breeze.
Miri's laughter bubbled forth, a melody that echoed Y/N's joy. With a determined grin, Miri chased after her sister, her small legs propelling her forward with unbridled enthusiasm. The market around teemed with life, vendors hawking their wares beneath colourful awnings, the air rich with the scent of spices and freshly caught fish.
Dodging between crates of exotic fruits and stalls piled high with vibrant fabrics, the two little girls raced through the people with loud laughter.
As they emerged onto a sun-drenched promenade, Y/N slowed her pace, allowing Miri to draw closer. She turned to face her sister, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Think you can keep up, fish-legs?"
Miri grinned, her round cheeks flushed with exertion. "Just you wait, Y/N! I'll beat you yet!"
With a mischievous wink, Y/N took off again, her laughter trailing behind her like a comet's tail. The younger girl followed in hot pursuit, their laughter intermingling with the sounds of the island—a symphony of joy and freedom that echoed across the sun-kissed shores.
The girls skidded to a halt in a quaint courtyard nestled amidst the bustling village. The air was redolent with the aroma of freshly baked bread and spices, luring them to pause and savour the moment. They settled onto a weathered bench, their breath coming in exhilarated gasps as they gazed around, taking in the vibrant tapestry of island life.
"Y/N/N, you think Mama would let me take one of those landfolk trinkets back home?" Miri exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with delight as she bit into a juicy slice of tropical fruit.
Y/N thought for a moment. Her parents were in an important meeting of some sort, she recalls them quietly speaking about the World Government declaration that was supposed to be out that afternoon, they sounded worried but Y/N had no idea why. "Maybe, depending on the trinket can withstand being in the water for long,"
"It's one of those dolls," Miri mumbles
"Those are made with fabric," Y/N shakes her head, "She won't let you,"
Miri pouts and deflates. Not liking seeing her younger sister sad, Y/N purses her lips in thought, when an idea hits her.
"Maybe not a doll but she can let us take one of these shiny stones. You like those, right?"
"Oh, yes," Miri smiles, "The stones with crystals inside of them, those are pretty..."
Their conversation was interrupted by a sudden commotion in the distance—a chorus of shouts and panicked cries that shattered the tranquillity of the courtyard. People began to scatter, their faces etched with fear as they fled back towards the ocean.
"What's happening, Y/N?" Miri's voice trembled with uncertainty as they were swept up in the frantic throng of people.
Y/N heart skipped a beat as she glanced around, her senses on high alert. People were scattering in every direction, their voices rising in panic as a wave of fear swept through the village like wildfire. Without hesitation, she grabbed her sister's hand, her grip tight with determination.
"We need to find-"
As if on cue, their father appeared, his brow furrowed with worry as he rushed towards them. Without a word, he took hold of Y/N's hand and began to guide them through the throngs of panicked villagers, his grip firm and unwavering.
"Stay close, girls," he urged, his voice tinged with urgency.
"Papa, what's going on?" Y/N asked, her voice wavering with concern.
Their father's expression was grim as he gathered them close, his hands firm yet gentle as he began to guide them towards the beach where their mother was anxiously waiting for them. "There's danger, my pearls. We must go to safety."
The sisters exchanged a worried glance, their steps quickening as they followed their father through the labyrinthine streets. The distant roar of the ocean grew louder with each passing moment, a reminder of the peril lurking just beyond the tranquil facade of the island...
When Y/N first woke up, she was confused.
"What...?" She looked around noticing the others were just as confused as she was. Then she noticed the box they were all in. Her heart began to race.
"They took my swords," Zoro grumbles once he notices the missing weight.
Nami groans noticing they took something away from her too. "And my rucksack, ugh, with all my navigation gear."
"And my fans..." Y/N mumbles, quickly standing up. Ignoring the rest, she reaches to place a hand on the hard wooden wall, "No, no, no..."
Her hands scrabbled against the rough walls, searching for any means of escape. Splinters dug into her skin, but she hardly noticed amidst the rising tide of fear. Memories flooded back, memories she had long tried to bury— The air was stale, each inhale felt like a struggle, as if the very act of breathing was a battle against the confines of the box.
"Hey," A raspy familiar voice said as a large hand landed on her shoulder but it swiftly slapped it off.
"Don't touch me," Y/N snaps as she continues to desperately look for a way out. "No. Not again, please,"
Suddenly, she flinches at the sound of someone next to her banging on the wooden walls.
"Stop." Y/N faintly heard Nami hiss. "Stop that."
"What? I’m trying to find a way out." The same raspy voice said. It was Zoro.
"We’ve been captured. We need a plan." Nami tells them.
"No, fuck no," Y/N continues to look for a way out, this time, however, she starts to push against the wooden wall.
"I just need to beat the hell out of every Marine I see," Zoro agrees.
"Hey, everyone, relax," Luffy, like Zoro, places a hand on Y/N's shoulders only to be slapped off. "We’re fine."
"We’re not fine. The Marines will throw us in jail if we’re lucky." Nami says. "Execute us if they don’t"
"They… they are not Marines. Before I got knocked out, I saw a Jolly Roger. We’ve been captured by pirates."
No...
Y/N stopped her attempts as Images flashed through her mind—memories of past suffocation, of being trapped in tight spaces. Panic gripped her like a vice, squeezing tighter with each passing moment.
Time lost meaning as Y/N battled against the relentless grip of fear. Minutes stretched into hours, each second dragging by with excruciating slowness. Her throat began to close, and her body started trembling with exhaustion and terror.
"That’s much better news."
"No, he’s right," Zoro said, he stepped a little closer to Y/N, and she was painfully aware and utterly horrified. "Marines have training. Pirates are easier to kill."
"Shanks used to say not every situation can be solved with violence," Luffy told them.
"Who the hell is Shanks?"
"We don’t need to fight. I can talk to them," Luffy shakes his head with a grin, "Pirate to pirate."
Y/N would have laughed at the idea of reasoning with a Pirate hadn't she been in the starters of a hysteria attack.
"That won’t work." Nami said
"Why not?"
"To start, you’re not a pirate."
" Yes, I am."
"No," Nami said looking at Luffy, "You are some stretchy guy in a tattered hat."
"I’m a different kind of pirate," Luffy stated, optimism practically oozing out of him.
"Pirates are pirates. There’s only one kind."
That is true. Pirates are all foul, soulless creatures... another wave of memories flooded her brain. Y/N closed her eyes, willing herself to find some semblance of calm amidst the chaos of her mind. But even in the darkness behind her eyelids, the walls of the box loomed large, a constant reminder of her imprisonment.
But just when she felt herself on the brink of surrender, the top of the box opened forcing Y/N to snap open. Music began to fill her ears, an odd spectacle of dancing... clowns? began to surround them once all the walls of the box were pulled apart.
Y/N, finally being able to breathe properly, watches as people in costumes do flips and tricks around them. She glances at her surroundings. This was a circus. Why were they in a circus? The people on the stats started to clap, Y/N frowned as she watched the tears of fear in some of those people. Isn't a circus supposed to be fun?
"No. No, no, no, no," A man or rather a clown with blue and a red nose, shouting prompting everyone to stop the show. "Stop clapping! No, stop! It’s all wrong!"
"The spotlight was late. You completely missed my entrance." He motions for the light to go from the four of them to him. Then he turns his attention to the man dressed in a bear costume who is terrified of the clown. "And where, oh, where was the dancing lion?"
"Hey, I know you," Luffy earned the clown's attention. "I saw your wanted poster in Shells Town. You’re the clown guy. Um, uh… Binky, right?"
"Buggy," The clown with blue hair corrected and to Y/N's surprise, he kept going. "Buggy the Clown. Buggy, the Flashy Fool. Buggy, the Genius Jester."
"Wow. You have a lot of names. I bet everyone in the East Blue knows who you are." Luffy said impressed but his words earned a gasp from the audience confusing the four of them.
"What did you just say?" Buggy deadpanned.
Luffy, none the wiser, repeats "Just that everyone knows who you are-"
"Nose?!" Buggy exclaims rushing to clasp Luffy's face in his hand, squeezing. The clown's crew step forward, holding their weapons, looking weirdly intimidating. "Are you making fun of my nose?"
Y/N, despite the dangerous situation, was baffled for a moment. She subtly regards Buggy's nose. Was that actually his real nose?? Oh, it was. Woah.
"Well… I wasn’t. But now that you mention it, is that thing for real?" Luffy lifts a hand to touch the clown's nose but he quickly slaps it away, making the audience gasp.
"What’s real is I’ve been scheming for months," The clown pushes Luffy away, and Y/N who was just behind him manages to catch him. She turns as Buggy stands in front of Nami, "To steal that map from old Axe-Hand Moron…"
"Eh?" He waits for an acknowledgement or reaction from the orange-haired girl but when he realises he is getting none he waves a dismissive hand and turns back to the others. "…only to find out that I was upstaged by four little nobodies, who stole it from right out under my no- No! It’s in my head now."
"Ah!" Buggy groans with exasperation moving away. "
"Hey, I’m not a nobody," Luffy said, once again successfully gaining the clown pirate's attention. "I’m Monkey D. Luffy. And I will be King of the Pirates."
Y/N had to give it to Luffy. His determination was so outstanding that even in such a dire situation it wouldn't break, however, she couldn't decide yet if it was stupidity or courage.
Buggy lets out a laugh, "Oh! Now that’s funny."
One of his crew members holds up a sign, forcing the audience to laugh. Well, that's depressing, can't imagine being a clown and having to force people to laugh.
Buggy motions for the laughing to halt. He moves, looking in between them as he speaks;
"My bounty poster graces the marquee of every Marine outpost for miles. And my menagerie of outcasts and freaks is the most dreaded pirate crew the East Blue has ever known. I am destined to find the One Piece. And when I do… I will be king."
"No, you won’t, ’cause I’m gonna find it first." Luffy contradicted the clown.
It's stupidity, Y/N decided.
"You?" Buggy scoffs, "Don’t make me laugh."
One crew member holds the sign again, and the audience laughs but they are soon yelled at to stop.
"I said don’t make me laugh!!!"
"All right, listen up. I’m Roronoa Zoro," Zoro spoke up, loud enough to gather everyone's attention. He turns to face Buggy and his crew. "Drop your weapons now and I may let you live."
Y/N has half a mind to yell at him asking what the fuck he was doing. Did he honestly think he could fight against all of these pirates? He doesn't even have his swords.
Buggy stares for a moment before letting out a mocking laugh. "Ladies and gentlemen, we have a celebrity in our midst."Ladies and gentlemen, we have a celebrity in our midst. Too bad I hate sharing the spotlight."
The stage light went from them back to Buggy.
"Now, maybe we should skip right to the finale," The clown pulls out his weapon. A very intimidating metal sharp claws. "My freaks put quite a bit of rehearsal time into this little abduction. And if I can’t reward them with that map…" He moves to stand next to a man with sharp teeth. "I suppose I’ll have to offer them a pound of flesh instead."
Oh, shit. shit this. This is bad. Like BAD bad. Bad enough for her to manipulate her way out of it, but for that she'll need to get the clown alo-
"Wait. Wait." Nami was standing in front of them, looking to make some sort of negotiation with the clown. "What if I have something else to offer you? Something more valuable than the map?"
That seems to gather a newfound interest in the pirate, who looks at nami in expectation.
"What if I give you an entertainer, a singer, the best I've ever heard," Nami said casting a quick glance in her way. Y/N's heart plummeted. No, she couldn't be doing that to her. Her heart sank even lower when Buggy's gaze shifted towards her, his blue eyes gleaming when he caught her form.
"And a new freak for your crew?" Nami continues, forcing the clown to look away. She was slowly moving next to Luffy, "A rare talent. The most spectacular act in all of the East Blue. Besides you, of course."
"Go on."
Nami takes Luffy's hat prompting a shout from the boy, she tosses it up into the air making Luffy use his devil fruit abilities and stretch his arm up high to catch the hat. And then, Nami was gone.
"Go after her," Buggy told one of his crew members who quickly ran after the orange-haired girl. He chuckles, looking at Luffy. He pulls out an apple from his pocket and a knife. "Well, isn't this just interesting?"
Y/N felt a surge of protest rising within her, a desire to shout out against the unfolding situation. Yet, she found herself engulfed in a sense of hopelessness, a feeling all too familiar from her past experiences. She knew well the torment of being confined within the hold of a pirate.
"It's fine," she whispered to herself, trying to muster some semblance of reassurance. I'll… I'll be fine. Despite her inner turmoil, she clung to a last resort—a secret move, a tactic she had saved for dire circumstances. All she needed was to find a moment alone with Buggy.
They soon bring a struggling Nami and a part of her is happy they did another part of her is annoyed she sells them out and still fails to escape.
"What did you do? What did you do to their town? You destroyed everything!" Nami exclaimed in anger.
As he ate the apple, Buggy nonchalantly replied, "Not everything. I let ’em keep their hands."
The signs were up again and the audience clapped in command.
"Okay," The clown throws away the remains of the apple and puts the knife back into his coat. "Here end the theatrics."
Suddenly, the lights flickered and dimmed until they focused solely on Buggy's figure, casting an eerie glow around him. His voice cut through the darkness with a sharp edge.
"I know one of you has my map," he declared, his tone laced with determination. "And I'm gonna get it back. What was it you said, Rubber Boy? That it was in a safe place?"
The tension in the air heightened as everyone present awaited Buggy's next move.
"Don’t look so surprised. I’ve got eyes and ears everywhere," Buggy told the four of them with a smile, "So, please make our guests uncomfortable in the green room."
As two pirates seized Y/N from behind, she instinctively struggled against their grasp, her heart pounding in her chest. Nami too fought against her captors, but Zoro remained passive, seemingly indifferent to their plight. Just as they were about to drag Y/N away, the clown intervened.
"Not her," Buggy's voice commanded, halting the pirates in their tracks. They obediently turned Y/N to face their captain, whose blue eyes bore into her with a curious intensity. He closed the distance between them, his presence looming over her.
"Just for you, beautiful," Buggy addressed her, a smirk playing on his lips, "I'm willing to share my spotlight for a few moments and let you sing for us while my 'freaks' prepare the things for my chat with my stretchy new pal."
"Why would I?" Y/N retorted, summoning whatever semblance of courage she could muster to meet the clown's gaze. Ignoring the pirates that were dragging Luffy to sit with the audience. "I only sing when I have something to sing for…"
"Funny you think you have a choice," Buggy chuckled mischievously, his tone dripping with amusement, the sign was up so, naturally the audience laughed as well. He sauntered over to a high chair, resembling a throne, and settled into it with an air of superiority.
"Well, it's either that," he continued, gesturing towards Y/N, "or off with you. Though," he added with a smirk, "it'll be a shame to harm such a pretty girl like yourself."
His words hung in the air, a thinly veiled threat that left Y/N feeling trapped and vulnerable, caught between compliance and defiance.
Despite the overwhelming intimidation, Y/N took a moment to steady her breathing and gather her resolve. Nami was right about one thing – she was an entertainer, a performer. With that realization, a flicker of determination ignited within her.
With a deep breath, Y/N straightened her posture and let a confident smile grace her lips. She could do this. She could fake her charm, her confidence. After all, she had faced tough crowds before. This was just another performance, albeit under much more dire circumstances.
Y/N flashed a charming grin at Buggy, exuding confidence as the impromptu show began.
"Well, darling," she purred, her voice dripping with charisma, "lucky for you, I happen to have had my heart stomped a few days ago. You don't happen to have a guitar lying around, do you?"
Buggy's grin widened, and with a casual wave of his hand, a guitar was swiftly presented to her. As the rest of the crew dispersed, leaving her alone in the spotlight, Buggy's voice carried a warning tone.
"Don't make me regret giving you a share of my spotlight, sweetheart," he cautioned, his words tinged with a hint of threat.
Y/N meets Buggy's warning with a playful glint in her eye, maintaining her charismatic demeanor.
"Oh, don't you worry, Captain," she replies smoothly, her voice dripping with charm. "I'll make sure to dazzle everyone enough to ensure you shine even brighter. After all, what's a spotlight without a little sparkle, right?"
Without missing a beat, Y/N pivots gracefully, turning her attention to the assembled audience with a grin that belies the tension of the situation. With ease, she addresses them as if they were any other crowd, temporarily forgetting the dire circumstances of their gathering.
"Well, well, well. Looks like we've got ourselves a full house, don't we?" she declares with a playful sparkle in her eyes, her voice projecting warmth and enthusiasm despite the unsettling circumstances.
"Ah, the joys of a heartbreak!" Y/N's grin takes on a mischievous edge as she continues, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
"As you may have heard," she begins, her tone dripping with theatrical flair, "some clueless boy managed to break this ol' heart of mine. But fear not, for in the face of heartache, what does a songbird do? Why, she writes a song, of course!"
Pausing for dramatic effect, she lets a playful wink slip before continuing, "Sadly, it seems our heartbreaker won't have the pleasure of hearing it. But don't worry, my captive audience, for you lucky souls get a front-row seat to the grand performance!"
Her words draw a ripple of shy, soft laughter from the crowd, turning this sombre moment into a somewhat of lighthearted affair. Her eyes meet Luffy's browns for a moment, he seems to pay her his all attention.
With a graceful motion, Y/N turns her attention to the guitar, her fingers deftly plucking a few strings. The sound resonates through the room, filling the air with a gentle melody that carries hints of both melancholy and resolve.
" When as a wanderer, your shore I did find,
Adrift, I found refuge in arms so kind,
We braved the tempest, each in our own fights,
You sought fortune in shadows, while I relied on my charms
I danced with the night, whispered secrets to the moon,
You chased after gold, while I sang my tune
We wanted to forget our woes and drown them in our wine
Then one day you vanished, claiming I was not divine,"
As she plays, her gaze flickers between the strings and the captivated audience, her expression a mix of concentration and subtle charisma. Each note she strikes seems to weave a tale of heartache and resilience, drawing the audience deeper into the performance with every strum.
I saw you at your lowest, in your darkest fight
I know the struggles hidden from plain sight
Too bad I'm the love you lost, the bond you breached
Now what'll you do, when I'm gone evermore?"
As Y/N finishes the song, a hush falls over the room, the echoes of her performance lingering in the air like a haunting melody. In that suspended moment, time seems to stand still, every eye in the room fixated on Buggy, waiting for his reaction, well, except for Luffy, he was the only one giving a standing ovation.
"Wooh, yeah!" Luffy claps, a smile on his face as he turns to one of the pirates holding him. "That's my musician,"
Y/N, however, ignore him and turn to Buggy.
Y/N meets his piercing blue gaze, searching for any hint of emotion within them, but finds his expression inscrutable, a mask of unreadable intent. There's a tension in the air, palpable and electric, as the weight of the silence stretches on, leaving everyone on edge.
Finally, after what feels like an eternity, Buggy breaks the silence with a slow, deliberate clap, his expression betraying nothing but a hint of amusement. It's a subtle gesture, but it breaks the tension in the room. The sign to clap was up but Y/N has a feeling they would've clapped regardless. It's a moment of relief for Y/N, who can't help but feel a sense of validation wash over her.
"It seems orange-hair was not lying, huh?" Buggy remarks, his tone carrying a hint of sardonic amusement. The cheers stop at his command.
Y/N lets out a forced chuckle, her lips curling into a wry smile as she meets Buggy's gaze.
"Well, what can I say?" she quips with a hint of playful sarcasm, "I did promise not to disappoint, didn't I? And trust me, darling, I always keep my promises, even when it involves serenading a bunch of pirates in a not-so-friendly setting."
Buggy's chuckle sends a shiver down Y/N's spine as he rises from his seat and advances towards her. Y/N fights to conceal the tremor of intimidation that courses through her, maintaining a facade of composure as he leans in to whisper.
"You could make a wonderful addition to my crew," he murmurs, his voice low and tinged with an air of intrigue. “Irreplaceable, even.”
While the idea of joining his crew fills her with trepidation and disgust, she knows better than to outright reject him, especially considering his unpredictable nature. Like most men.
With a steady gaze and a flicker of determination in her eyes, Y/N meets Buggy's gaze, her voice steady as she replies, "Well, Captain, it's certainly a tempting offer. But you'll have to forgive me if I take a moment to weigh my options. After all, I'm not one to jump ship without careful consideration."
Buggy regards her for a moment, then he smiles as he pulls back. His smile sends a shiver down Y/N's spine, but she maintains her facade of composure as he pulls back, granting her a temporary reprieve.
"Alright, I'll give you time to think it over…" he concedes, his tone deceptively genial.
Y/N's heart sinks as she watches him walk over to where Luffy is, a sinking feeling settling in her stomach. Before she can react, two pirates seize her again.
"Until he gives me my map, that is," Buggy adds casually, his words a stark reminder of the precarious position Y/N finds herself in.
As the pirates begin to drag her away, Y/N's heart pounds with a mixture of fear and determination. She casts a fleeting glance back at Luffy, a silent vow forming in her mind to find a way out of this predicament.
Soon, she was being tied down into a chair.
"Fuck you, Nami," Y/N spat out her frustration as soon as the pirates left them alone, her tone tinged with irritation. "Why would you do that?"
Inside her cage, Nami rolled her eyes in response. "It's survival of the fittest out here, Y/N," she retorted, her voice laced with resignation.
Y/N can't help but roll her eyes in return. She knows that in this cutthroat world, everyone looks out for themselves, but she had foolishly hoped for some semblance of a relationship with Nami only to be sorely disappointed.
"The least you could've done was actually manage to actually escape. You sold us in vain." Y/N chastised with a disapproving tsk.
"For what it's worth," Nami glanced towards the entrance of the crew's dressing rooms before skillfully picking the lock of her cage. "I am trying to get us out."
Y/N narrowed her eyes, unsure whether to trust Nami's words. Turning to Zoro, who was bound to a circular board nearby, she asked, "Do you believe her?"
"Don't have much of a choice," Zoro replies with a nonchalant shrug, just as a loud shout from outside makes them all snap their heads towards the entrance. It's Luffy's voice. "Better work faster."
As Y/N tries to free herself from the bounds, she realises that she's worried about Luffy because, despite his exasperating antics and seemingly reckless behaviour, she can't help but feel a pang of worry for him.
The bounds were tight but not enough to cut circulation just tight enough to leave burn marks when she moved them too much which she does.
Feeling the burn of the tight bounds against her skin, Y/N winced but pressed on, determined to free herself.
"That's only hurting you," Nami said sparing Y/N a glance before continuing to pick her lock.
Nami's words of caution brought a moment of pause, but Y/N couldn't afford to let fear hold her back. "I'll be fine,"
Nami rolls her eyes, then she glances at Zoro, he, too was trying to free himself.
"What?" The boy asks.
Nami continues with her work, "This is my life now."
"You want to trade places?"
"Both of you shut up," There was a rustling sound just making its way to them, "Shit. Someone’s coming."
Nami stops her work and looks at the entrance. "I need more time. Keep them talking."
"I don’t talk." Zoro said, "I hit things."
"I'll do it," Y/N announced.
Seconds later, a pirate with a striking mix of black and white hair and a blue and white square pattern scarf bursts into the room, riding his monocycle with an air of undeniable flair. He comes to a stop right in front of Zoro, his gaze fixed firmly on the bound swordsman.
Y/N, who would have found the scene comical under different circumstances, straightens up, suppressing the urge to laugh. Instead, she puts on her best flirtatious grin and clears her throat, preparing to address the newcomer.
"Hey there, handsome," Y/N begins, her voice dripping with playful charm. "I bet your captain's got you on a tight leash, but do you think you could...?"
"Shut up, whore!" The pirate said not taking his eyes off Zoro.
Y/N's jaw was on the floor. Well, that came out of nowhere.
"I'm not an expert but I'm sure you don't talk to ladies like that," Zoro, ever nonchalant, unexpectedly comes to her defense, much to Y/N's surprise.
The pirate disregards Zoro and instead questions, "Remember me?"
"No. Must be some other homicidal, unicycle-riding clown." Zoro mocks.
Y/N flinches as the pirate with black and white hair delivers a punch to Zoro's stomach.
"I've been thinking about you for years," the pirate hisses, his voice dripping with resentment. "About how you killed my brother."
"I killed a lot of pirates." Zoro deadpanned.
The pirate, named Cabaji, scowls as he begins to recount their past encounter. "My name is Cabaji, and a couple of years back, you hunted us across the Goa Kingdom," he explains, pulling out two knives. ""Followed us for weeks through the swamp lands, day and night, never relenting, like some kind of demon."
The three of them shared a look. A silent understanding between them. This was it, the distraction. Cabaji glances at the two girls as he backs away from Zoro.
"Still not ringing a bell," Zoro remarks casually, prompting Cabaji to throw a knife dangerously close to his head.
"You cut off his head and you stuffed it in a bag, all for a few Berry." Cabaji accuses, his voice heavy with accusation.
Zoro sighs, briefly closing his eyes before conceding, "Okay, that does sound like me."
The air becomes thick with tension as the two men lock gazes, the looming threat of violence hanging between them.
"Let's see if you can keep your head," Cabaji declares, moving to the side of the circular structure and spinning it, taking Zoro along for the ride.
With each knife thrown, Y/N can't help but avert her eyes, unable to witness the imminent danger befalling the swordsman. As minutes tick by and Y/N finally dares to steal a glance at Zoro, she's taken aback by his unwavering composure. Despite the imminent threat of the spinning structure and the barrage of knives, Zoro remains eerily calm, his expression betraying no hint of fear or panic.
Watching him close his eyes and maintain his stoic demeanor in the face of danger, Y/N can't help but feel a surge of admiration mingled with astonishment. It shouldn't surprise her, knowing Zoro's reputation for unshakeable resolve, but somehow it does.
Y/N shifts her gaze to Nami, and in that brief exchange of eye contact, a silent understanding passes between them. She's close to opening the lock.
"You really don’t fear death, do you?" Cabaji asks after his tenth throw.
"No," Zoro said as the structure came to a halt, "I just don’t fear you."
Cabaji throws yet another knife before approaching Zoro "You know, I’m gonna enjoy this. As soon as Captain Buggy’s finished with you, you’re mine."
"Uh, tempting as that sounds, I’m not sticking around." Zoro slowly opens his eyes and focuses on the pirate.
"Really? Got somewhere else to be?"
"Didn’t used to think so. But Luffy changed that." Zoro said.
"That simpleton in a straw hat." Cabaji scoffs, "Don’t tell me you actually believe in him?"
"I don’t need to. He believes in himself." Zoro admits and shrugs, "It rubs off."
As Nami swiftly and silently cuts Y/N's bonds, relief floods through her as she rubs her sore wrists. With newfound freedom, she wastes no time positioning herself behind Cabaji, who is too engrossed in Zoro's words to notice her approach.
"And one more thing."
Cabaji continues to laugh as Zoro warns him.
"Don’t turn around."
In a split second, Y/N seizes the opportunity, delivering a powerful punch straight to Cabaji's nose. The force of the blow sends him staggering backwards. With Cabaji momentarily stunned, Zoro takes advantage, freeing one of his arms to grab hold of the pirate's throat, applying pressure with a steely grip while Nami frees his other arm.
"And by the way, you're brother's the whore," Y/N said to the Cabaji just moments before the pirate passed out.
"What's the plan?" Asks Zoro, retreating his swords.
Y/N takes hold of her war fans. "We go for Luffy,"
"Yeah but how?" Zoro turns to Nami, "You do have a plan, right? That’s your thing, plans."
"I say we beat the hell out of every clown we see." Nami declares, her eyes flickering between them mischievously as she brandishes her fighting stick.
Y/N chuckles in agreement, elegantly fanning her fans to reveal the gleaming blades within. "Well, isn't that a delightful idea," she quips with a smirk. "I've always had a knack for cutting through the foolery."
With a wink exchanged between Y/N and Zoro, a shared understanding passing between them, Zoro chuckles before they both follow Nami out.
As they navigate through the chaos of the circus tent, the trio encounters a shower of fools intent on blocking them. With a seamless display of skill and coordination, they engage the freaks in a fight.
Nami leads the charge, her fighting sticks a blur as she deflects incoming blows and delivers precise strikes. Each swing is calculated, each movement fluid and efficient as she exploits weaknesses in the clown's defences.
Beside her, Zoro moves with the grace of a great swordsman, his swords lethal as he cuts through the ranks of clowns with unmatched precision. His strikes are powerful and decisive, each blow landing with devastating force as he clears a path forward.
And Y/N adds her own flair to the fray, her fans flashing in the dim light of the tent as she gracefully dances between pirates. With a flick of her wrist, she spreads the fans, revealing the razor-sharp blades concealed within. Each movement is deliberate, and calculated, as she gracefully weaves through the chaos of the fight effortlessly dispatching any clown foolish enough to challenge her.
As they finally reach the main stage, Y/N's heart lurches at the sight before her. There, in the center of the stage, Luffy struggles against the confines of a tank filled with water. Memories flood Y/N's mind, images of a similar tank from her past flashing before her eyes with haunting clarity.
She tries to hold back a shudder as the familiar dread grips her, threatening to overwhelm her senses. The sight of Luffy, trapped and struggling, serves as a painful reminder, stirring emotions that she had long tried to bury but with a deep breath, Y/N pushes aside the memories, focusing instead on the task at hand.
With a swift and precise throw, Nami hurls her fighting stick towards the tank, the impact causing the glass to crack and splinter. Y/N watches with bated breath as the cracks spiderweb across the surface, spreading like veins of ice.
"Where are my freaks?" Buggy exclaimed looking around the circus.
Zoro appears on the other end, holding his two swords. "They're not coming,"
Finally, the tank gave way with a resounding crash. As the glass shatters, water gushes forth in a torrent, cascading to the ground in a rush of freedom letting Luffy out and soaking Buggy to the ground.
After he inhales some air, Luffy exhales the map. Ugh!
"My map!" Buggy crawls to the map.
Luffy, on the other hand, "My hat!"
Y/N turned her gaze towards the laughing clown, he took hold of the map while Luffy was hugging his hat. With careful steps, the trio approaches him.
"You want a piece of me?" The clown challenges them once he notices their approach. "Let’s see what you got."
Without hesitation, Zoro lunges forward, his sword slicing through the air with deadly precision. But to their astonishment, the clown doesn't fall. Instead, he splits into pieces, his laughter ringing out triumphantly as he effortlessly reassembles himself.
"Surprise, shithead!" Buggy crows with glee, his laughter echoing through the chaos.
Y/N, Zoro and Nami gather together as Buggy manically laughing starts to split himself into more pieces.
"What the hell?" Y/N yells as Buggy's body parts begin to fly around them.
Zoro's brow furrows in frustration as he watches the spectacle. "How do I slice a guy who's already in pieces?"
"This is not part of the plan," Nami grits her teeth, holding tightly to her fighting stick.
With a grunt of frustration, Y/N pushes away a stray hand that reaches for her, her mind racing as she tries to formulate a strategy amidst the chaos. "Yeah, no shit."
Despite their best efforts, the trio find themselves quickly overwhelmed by the onslaught of flying body parts. Zoro is slammed against the tank, Nami is hurled off the stage, and Y/N is sent crashing into a pile of crates, pain shooting through her side as she struggles to regain her footing amidst the chaos.
"Fuck," She hisses, placing a hand on the sore spot. She braces herself up watching as Buggy pulls out his metallic claws and slices himself again.
"Chop-Chop Cannon!!" His hands and arms start to rotate while his legs start to fly about in chaos.
Luffy does his best to dodge and punch and actually manages to reach Buggy but is soon pushed off him. The claws though, do manage to get Luffy's straw hat.
Buggy laughs and when Luffy goes to recollect his hat he is tripped and pushed to the ground.
Y/N's heart pounds with panic as she watches Buggy's hand find its way to Luffy's throat, threatening to choke the life out of him. In a desperate bid to save Luffy, she scans the area for anything that could aid them in their fight.
Then, like a bolt of lightning, inspiration strikes. With a quick glance at the crates nearby, Y/N's mind races with a plan.
"Luffy, Nami. The crates!" Y/N shouts, her voice cutting through the chaos as she rushes to one and flings it open.
With lightning-fast reflexes, Luffy manages to break free from Buggy's grasp, tearing the hand off his throat and hurling it towards Nami. Acting on instinct, Nami uses her fighting stick to send Buggy's hand hurtling towards the open crate, which Y/N swiftly closes, trapping the appendage inside.
One by one, the four of them began to trap the clown's body parts inside the boxes until only his head, hands and feet were all he had.
"What have you done to me?"
Luffy grins, "Cut you down to size."
"The One Piece will never be yours." Buggy all but growls in frustration. "You’re just a sad, lonely little boy wearing another man’s hat!"
"I know exactly who I am," Luffy puts on his straw hat and with his usual smile he turns to Buggy. "I am Monkey D. Luffy. And I’m gonna be King of the Pirates."
Y/N chuckles to herself. He really has an indomitable spirit.
Luffy stretches both his hands back, "Gum Gum…
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! No, no, no! Wait. Wait. Wait. Wait." Buggy pleads but Luffy is already spitting out.
"Bazooka!!"
And with a scream, Buggy's head is launched off the circus.
With a beaming smile, Luffy picks up the map and strides to the center of the stage, where Zoro, Y/N, and Nami are gathering. He extends the map towards the orange-haired girl, his expression filled with unwavering confidence.
"You're giving this to me?" Nami asks, her disbelief barely concealed beneath her facade of composure.
Luffy's grin widens. "You're the navigator," he replies simply, his faith in her abilities unwavering.
"Let's get out of this clown show," Zoro interjects, his tone tinged with impatience as he eagerly anticipates their departure.
Y/N nods in agreement, her hands deftly stowing away her fans back into her waistline. "Yeah, I've had my fill of this place,"
But Luffy's focus remains unwavering as he turns to address the others, his gaze sweeping over the captive audience.
"Still, there's one more thing we have to do," he declares, his eyes meeting those of his companions. "We have to set them free."
With determined hearts, they set about freeing the captive audience, their collective resolve aimed at bringing an end to the clown's tyranny.
"Are you our new captors?" an old man asks Luffy, his voice tinged with confusion.
Luffy tilts his head, a hint of bemusement in his expression. "What?"
"Well, you're a pirate, aren't you?" the old man persists, struggling to comprehend the act of kindness from someone associated with piracy.
"I'm a different kind of pirate," Luffy replies simply, his words carrying a weight of sincerity that belies his reputation.
Y/N shares a knowing glance with Luffy as she frees a child from his shackles, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips. Despite the odds, Luffy's unwavering determination and genuine compassion are beginning to win her over, gradually eroding her skepticism and replacing it with a newfound sense of admiration.
As they make their way through the town, the sun casts its warm rays upon the streets, a stark contrast to the wreckage left in the wake of Buggy's crew. Despite the devastation, a sense of relief fills the air as the townsfolk emerge from their hiding places, grateful to be free from the clutches of the circus from hell.
As Y/N walks alongside her companions towards their ship, she is greeted by a stream of townspeople, each one expressing their gratitude and admiration for her performance. Some approach her with heartfelt thanks, while others request the pleasure of hearing her sing again.
"We don't have much," the mayor of the town approaches them, offering a basket of food, "but please, take this as a token of our... of our gratitude."
Luffy shakes his head, a generous smile on his face. "You need it more than we do,"
Y/N wiggles her fingers in farewell as she follows Nami, Luffy, and Zoro to make their way back to their ship. As they approach, she notices Luffy darting back towards the mayor, returning for a piece of bread with a cheerful grin.
Once aboard the small ship, Y/N breathes a sigh of relief as she realizes all her belongings are still intact. With a sense of purpose, she joins Nami and Luffy in preparing the ship for their journey ahead.
Waving one last time to the shouting townsfolk, Y/N can't help but feel a sense of contentment wash over her. The warm farewells of the townsfolk echo in her ears, a reminder of the impact they've had on the lives of others.
A few minutes into their journey, Y/N sits next to Zoro with a tired sigh. The swordsman's eyes are closed and his arms are crossed, she gazes at the sundown, a pretty hue surrounding them- when was the last time she enjoyed a sunny day? Right with Cygnus, that feels like a lifetime ago...
"Hey, you need help with that?" Nami's voice cuts through the serenity, pulling Y/N's attention away from the mesmerizing sunset.
Luffy's puzzled frown prompts her to tense up momentarily as Nami reaches for his straw hat. But instead of causing harm, Nami begins to carefully repair it, her skilled hands weaving the threads with practised precision. Y/N can't help but reconsider her latest thoughts of the navigator as she watches her work.
"Why did you freak out?" Zoro's voice startles her out of her thoughts.
Y/N turns to face the boy, but his eyes are still closed. " What? When did I-"
"Back inside of the box," Zoro said, his voice ever raspy but silent as if he knew she didn't want the others to hear.
"Oh," Y/N blinks, she didn't think he'd notice that, yeah sure she was freaking out but they all were, weren't they? She clears her throat, trying to mask her discomfort as she reaches for her guitar, seeking comfort in its familiar presence. "It's nothing special, really."
"What does 'not again' mean then?" Zoro asks turning his head and opening his eyes to look at her.
Y/N fakes a grin, "I'm just not a fan of enclosed spaces, that's all, hot shot,"
Zoro stares at her for a moment and Y/N stares back. Some of the light of the day cast shadows on his face. She can't tell if he's convinced by her excuse or not. She hopes he is.
Thankfully her silent wishes are answered, Zoro closes his eyes again and turns to face forward. "You better not make any noise, I'm trying to rest,"
Y/N flashes Zoro a mischievous grin in response to his warning. "Noise? Oh, you have it all wrong, hot shot," she quips, her voice dripping with playful sarcasm. "I don't make noise, I compose symphonies of sound that would make even the sea itself dance to my tune but Don't worry, hot shot, I'll keep it down… unless you want to hear a little tune to lull you to sleep, I promise to find a lullaby you enjoy."
Zoro's lips twitch with amusement, and Y/N can't help but feel a sense of satisfaction.
"You fixed it," Y/N's head turns to see Luffy taking his hands from Nami with a smile. "Thanks."
"Well, you said it was your treasure, right?"
As Nami rises and heads towards the cabin, Y/N meets her gaze, and in that silent exchange, they share a moment of understanding. Any lingering tension between them dissipates, replaced by mutual respect and perhaps some camaraderie.
"Is every day gonna be this crazy with you?" Zoro's question breaks the silence, drawing Y/N's attention.
Luffy joins them, settling in front of them with a thoughtful expression. "Shanks always said… that if the path to what you want seems too easy… then you're on the wrong path."
Y/N nods in agreement, impressed by the insight of this mysterious Shanks character.
"Smart guy," she remarks, her curiosity piqued by the mention of someone who clearly holds significance in Luffy's life.
Zoro, ever the stoic swordsman, opens his eyes and nods in quiet contemplation. "Yeah, this Shanks guy sounds all right,"
Luffy's face breaks into a wide grin as he rises to his feet, his excitement palpable. With boundless energy, he dashes to the bow of the ship, his voice ringing out with unbridled enthusiasm.
"Next stop, the Grand Line!" he shouts, pointing a finger ahead towards the vast expanse of ocean that stretches out before them.
Shaking her head in amusement, Y/N feels a foreign surge of excitement coursing through her veins. With Luffy at the helm, she knows that her days with him, as long as they may be, will be anything but dull. The question is, will they be dangerous or not.
A/N: I hope you enjoyed the chapter. Lots of love, be safe.
𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐎𝐍𝐋𝐘 𝐆𝐎𝐎𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 - 𝟏
Pairing: Eddie x F!Reader
Summary: After moving to Hawkings for a fresh start, you meet a boy with kind, brown eyes who will quickly become a friend and maybe something more. The only problem is: you took something that belongs to him by accident and now you don't know what to do.
A/N: Yes, there will be more parts. No, i don't know when. I hope this start doesn't suck.
You kind of hated how you had thought moving there was a good idea. Of course, your aunt had told you that she would welcome you with open arms if you ever decided to go and live with her but she had never told you that the people there seemed to look all the same and that everyone would have stared at you in a weird way, being the only crazy person who moved there after years of no new arrivals.
Hawkins was a small midwestern town located in Roane County in the state of Indiana and it wasn't hard to tell that it wasn't a very busy or interesting place even though you were driving down the main street for the first time, heading towards the house where you were supposed to live for quite some time, if everything would have gone as it should and your aunt hadn't decided to get rid of you after a few days, like you had basically done with your parents.
You looked first on the left and then the right side of the road, while the music was still playing loudly in the vehicle, trying to figure out which way you were supposed to go, then you remembered that you had a map of the city somewhere in your pickup.
You glanced at the back seats, where there were several suitcases and a few bags full of things that you would probably never need and which were just taking up a lot of space in your car already always full of various junk.
You noticed a lamp peeking out from a bag and wondered for the second time that morning what the hell was going on in your mind.
"C'mon, where are you?" You talked to yourself, searching through the sea of objects scattered on the dashboard: a concert ticket, some polaroids containing memories of a life you were leaving behind (which had fallen from the ceiling of the car where you kept at least fifty of them fixed with tacks), a horror book by an unknown writer (the school library had crossed it out because it was considered inappropriate for kids), a shoe whose match had been lost while you were packing your bags, a half-empty green spray can and no trace of the city map.
The car behind you honked: you had not moved for at least two minutes.
"I'm trying to figure out where I need to go! I'm sorry!" You shouted through the rolled down window before the car passed you and a man gave you the middle finger.
"Rude." You commented, sighing and thinking about what to do.
Did continuing to wander around the city until you found the right path make sense?
You were about to restart the pickup when you saw a boy who couldn't have been older than fourteen and a taller, blond boy wearing a green and white jacket talking to each other as they walked along the sidewalk.
You grabbed your leather jacket and got out of the car, hoping no one would complain about the inappropriate place you were leaving it. Your driving teacher was probably right when she told you you sucked at parking.
"I'll be right back Casper." You said to the thing in the passenger seat. Nobody responded.
You reached the two boys just as the blond guy took the hat off the younger one, laughing.
You didn't immediately understand what was happening.
"Sorry, do you know where I can find-"
"Hey! Give it back!" The younger one tried to grab the hat while the other laughed, raising his arm straight up so he couldn't reach it.
"Give what back?" The blond laughed.
You cleared your throat. The two turned to you suddenly.
"What do you want?" The older one asked in an annoyed tone, looking you up and down.
"I wanted to know where Piney Wood Lane was but now I don't wanna talk with you anymore. Give the hat back."
He snorted as if I had come to ruin the party. "You can never have fun with you weirdos around."
You caught it before it landed in a puddle as the blonde dropped it to the ground.
He pointed to the kid saying something like "I'm not fucking done with you" before walking away.
"What a nice guy!" You yelled after him as he turned the corner.
"As always." The younger commented.
"Is everyone like this around here? I just moved but people like him make me want to go back to where I came from." You handed the hat back to him with a half smile.
You hated people like that guy, you had never understood how anyone could take pleasure in making someone else suffer.
"Not all. Most but not all, some of my friends are really cool. Thanks for that." He put the hat back on his head, covering his short curls, on his face a grateful expression even if you didn't do much.
You found yourself wondering what these "cool friends" of his were like.
"Good to know." You sighed ironically.
“I'm Dustin, by the way.” Dustin smiled at you.
You said your name and shook his hand, you thought that you had known that kid for about five minutes and you would already do anything to protect him.
Dustin looked at the car parked behind you. “Your car is so cool!” He commented in amazement, pointing with his finger at the drawings standing out against the black background, on the side of it.
"Thanks, it's a mess but it represents me, I think."
“Wait, what is that thing sitting in the passenger seat?”
"Oh, that's Casper!"
"It's a-"
"A skeleton, yes. My biology teacher let me borrow it from his class."
Dustin looked at you questioningly.
"Okay, I stole it. But he's a great travel companion, and never complains about the music I choose."
Dustin laughed. "I swear, you would love my friends."
"And I really would like to get to know them but now, could you help me find Piney Wood Lane? I lost the map in the middle of all the shit in my car."
"Sure I can, I know that street!" The boy nodded, hoping that you could become one of his "cool friends".
That afternoon, what had become your room was already full of stuff scattered around and suitcases that you didn't feel like unpacking everywhere. The posters you would soon hang were on the desk but you had decided to leave Casper in the car for a while longer. You had put most of your clothes in the closet and packed a bag full of spray cans with the intention of going out and finding a nice wall to do your first mural in the new town.
That time you didn't have any of your friends to make sure the cops didn't come but you figured that for your first few days there, you could manage on your own.
You grabbed a book in case you found a quiet place to read: you felt safer when you went out taking a book with you, even if you weren't sure you'd find a place or time to read.
“Are you going to explore the town?” Your aunt asked with a smile as you came out of your room with your bag over your shoulder.
You couldn't help but be grateful to her, she had said she would treat you like a daughter and give you a room of your own and that was exactly what she had done. You hadn't seen her in years and you didn't know each other very well but for the moment you seemed to get along well and your relationship seemed more peaceful than the one you'd had with many people in your old hometown.
Maybe this was really a new beginning for you.
"Yeah, something like that." You tried to sound convincing.
"Okay, don't get in trouble on your first day here."
You smiled.
"Oh, I would never do that."
You jumped off the trash can you were standing on, in the alley you had chosen for your mural.
You turned the spray can in your paint-stained hands, observing the work on the wall in front of you: you liked dragons in fantasy stories, you thought it might be nice to experiment with something like that.
"Yeah, you don’t look that bad." You said to the creature painted on the wall, before noticing that the sun was starting to set and it was probably time to go home.
You put the spray cans back in your bag and threw the empty ones into the bins you climbed onto.
Then, you heard a noise.
"Please don't be a cop." You muttered to yourself, placing your bag over your shoulder and walking out of the alley.
The footsteps got closer.
"Please don't be a cop." You repeated, keeping your gaze down as you rounded the corner, hoping to escape, that way, from whoever was coming in your direction.
Of course, luck wasn't on your side, as always: you collided with the person who was coming in your direction and if they hadn't grabbed you by the arm you would have surely ended up on the ground like the rest of your stuff.
Your book, your bag, and several spray cans scattered across the ground, some rolling away from you.
"Shit." You said through your teeth, looking up to look into the eyes of the person you had collided with.
A gentle and slightly worried gaze met yours, his chocolate brown eyes watching you as if to make sure you were okay. His expression was completely different from the way the boy who was bothering Dustin had looked at you that morning.
His messy, curly hair was brown like his eyes and his slight smile was reassuring.
"Are you good?" He asked, letting go of your arm after making sure you wouldn't fall.
"Oh, thank god you're not a cop!"
“And neither are you, good for both of us.” He chuckled before helping you pick up what you had dropped. You did the same, so quickly that you didn't even realize you had put something in the bag that didn't belong to you.
"I'm fine." You grabbed the spray can he was holding out to you, your fingers grazed his, adorned with chunky silver rings, and the action made you feel a weird sensation that you couldn't identify and that only lasted a few seconds in your stomach, “thank you.”
"It's a pleasure. It's always nice to help pretty girls break the law." He chuckled.
"I wasn't breaking any laws." You rolled your eyes, aware that you both knew you were lying, almost without realizing that he had called you pretty.
"Then why did you hope I wasn't a cop?"
"Maybe I just think they're not nice."
"Well, believe me, I've been arrested several times and I can guarantee you that most of them aren't."
You raised your eyebrows. "You've been arrested several times? What the hell did you do?"
"You really don't wanna know."
“Okay mystery man,” You rolled your eyes, the boy laughed at the nickname and you immediately liked the sound of it, then you held out your hand, introducing yourself.
He shook it and you felt that feeling in your stomach again but decided to ignore it, “Eddie.”
"Okay Eddie, are you good at giving an unbiased opinion on a mural done in an alley while standing on garbage bins?" You asked and without even waiting for an answer you started pushing him towards the dragon on the wall.
Usually you didn't need random strangers' opinions on your street art but this time you felt like you wanted to spend more time with that metal singer looking guy with the sweetest eyes you'd ever seen. And also, he wasn't a stranger anymore, he was Eddie.
“Oh sure, I was born for that.” He stated confidently.
Your laughter echoed down the alley as you reached the mural.
"There we go. Now you are an accessory to the crime."
"Well, in reality.... I didn't do anything. I'm just an innocent witness."
"You have paint on your hands."
"I don't-" He looked at his palms and realized you had stained one of his hands with green paint when you held it. "Oh, fuck you."
You laughed. "So? What do you think?"
“I think it's worthy of being on the cover of a metal album, it's amazing, really.”
"Well, thanks. For now it will stay on the wall of a dark alley."
"Really, that's so fucking cool. You should do this as a job or something like that."
"Well, I'm still in high school and I'm looking for someone who needs a babysitter to earn some money so... not yet, I guess."
"Well then I guess we'll meet there."
“Are you still in high school?”
Eddie sighed, as if expecting a joke on that.
"Hey, we don't judge people here. What do you expect from a girl who's spending her Sunday afternoon with a stranger chatting in front of some garbage cans?"
"I expect her to be cool as hell. And well-" He paused, as if thinking about it carefully, "I think she is."
You couldn't help but laugh again.
When you got home you still had a stupid smile on your face. You liked Eddie, you liked the way he made you feel like you didn't have to pretend to be someone else around him, you liked the way he called you "pretty" five more times that afternoon, you liked the way his eyes lit up when he talked about music, you liked the way he kindly asked you if he could walk you home since the sky was getting dark and he didn't want anything bad to happen to you, you liked the sound of his laughter and the way he tried to hide the blush on his cheeks when you told him that your opinion on Hawkings had become better after you met him.
"Why are you smiling like that?" Your aunt asked you when you entered the house.
"I met a boy."
She smirked.
"Don't look at me with that face, I just met him. He was just being nice."
"Mh-mh sure." She laughed as you rolled your eyes and walked into your room, leaving your bag on the bed.
When you unzipped it, something inside caught your attention: a small, brown leather-covered notebook you'd never seen before.
Your first thought was how the hell did he end up in there, then you remembered your clash with Eddie a few hours earlier. Was it possible that you had taken it without realizing it?
You got under the covers with the notebook in your hands. It was small but the pages were so many and so thin that someone could have started writing in it years before and still not filled it all.
You knew you shouldn't have done it, it might have contained private things, but you couldn't resist.
You opened it.
As soon as you did, a black and white photo of a girl with dark hair and a sun dress fell off the first page.
She was smiling and she was really pretty, you wondered who she could be. In the background you could see a garden and the sun shining in the sky.
It was wrinkled as if someone had held it in their hands for a long time.
Then, you read the first lines of the first page of the notebook. The writing was messy but legible, some words had been crossed out and rewritten probably due to some grammatical error or unclear thoughts.
"I realized that I almost don't remember her anymore and that's the thing that scares me the most. I don't want to forget her."
You couldn't help but wonder how you could feel the pain in those words simply by reading them in an old, crumpled notebook.
L I K E ?
Honey!Y/n x Luke Castellan
Summary: Luke likes honey? okay believable, but still, Luke liking someone? so impossible.
OR
Luke realizing he likes you.
Warnings; the term y/n is almost never mentioned in my writings so her widely known nickname is honey in this, it's HEAVILY implied this isn't her real name. she/her pronouns, fem!y/n, sweetness all over, physical touch, third person view at first, and that's it I think.
•••••••••••••••••••••★•••••••••••••••••••••
i. the reading thing
"How do you even read that?, I mean you do know nearly all of us suffer from something you might not know about called dyslexia, don't you find it prideful?" Luke was nearly tired of the girls who nagged you on and on mad about your skill in reading even with dyslexia.
"Yes, I do find pride in my reading skills. It's no different than the way you find pride in your archery abilities, Florence," you responded, never with irritation or sadness, you always lived up to the name granted to you.
They call her Honey. She's always been sweet and kind to everyone around her. Luke has known her for a while now, but he never really thought about her deeply. She's just always been there, like a steady presence in his life. Sure, he's been noticing things about her that he never really paid attention to before.
The way she smiles when she greets you, her infectious laughter, and how she never seems to have a bad word to say about anyone.
He doesn't know why he's suddenly seeing her in a different light, but there's something about her that's drawing him in. Maybe it's because she never spoils in a mood, or maybe it's because she's always been there for everyone without ever asking for anything in return. Whatever it is, there should be a proper explanation for it.
"Maybe you should stop staring and just walk up to her," Chris says nudging Luke as he moves his stare anywhere that isn't you.
Luke uncrosses his arms and turns to walk away, "I don't know what you're talking about man." Luke mumbles as he starts to walk away, where? don't ask him where he doesn't know, yet.
Chris walks along Luke matching his fast pace, "Okay, so you wouldn't mind if I asked her out?" Luke stopped in his tracks and turned his body towards Chris "Why would I? At least two guys ask her out, a day." Luke says nudging his head towards a son of Ares already moving to approach you.
Luke doesn't blame him, you're stunning, always glowing brighter than the sun, and somehow no daughter of Aphrodite draws attention like you do. Yet that's not all, you're smart, ambitious, and determined, how can someone be so amazing all the time?
After minutes of Luke staring off into space, Chris lets out an audible huff, "Wouldn't mind my ass."
ii. flowers
No, it's just a joke, he wouldn't actually be right. Why am I even thinking about this a day later?
Though I mean seriously, a son of Ares? pfft, as if.
He's not good enough for her.
Are you?
an ugly voice said.
Maybe not, but I do know I'm willing to try, for her at least.
Honey knelt in the wildflower field, her slender fingers delicately plucking vibrant blooms from the earth. The sun bathed the meadow in a golden glow, casting a radiant halo around her as she gathered the colorful blossoms, her focus entirely on the beautiful task at hand.
My eyes widened in awe at the sight of Honey amidst the sea of wildflowers, her quiet grace juxtaposed against the lively landscape.
I approached her with cautious steps, not wanting to disturb the tranquility of the moment.
"Hey, Honey right?" I ask, my voice is filled with fake curiosity. Startled by my sudden presence, Honey looked up, her cheeks flushed with surprise.
A soft smile graced her lips "Erm- yeah, but you already knew that Luke..." she said, yet there was no hint of judgment in her voice.
"Oh right, yeah I did." I rub the back of my neck, okay what? I've never been this nervous. Where's overly confident Luke when I need him?
"I was just wondering- I mean I've seen you around you know and I was wondering if you wanted to like go apple picking with me tomorrow or something? I don't know we've never even talked so we don't have to." yet again she gave me another soft smile, maybe in sympathy. I'm not sure.
Fuck this. I'm not a nervous guy.
I knelt down and plucked a wildflower, just as beautiful as her.
Her gaze shifts from the flower in my hand, to me.
"I know I'm being weird, of course, I know who you are." slowly just in case she wants to protest I reach up and pull a strand of her hair behind her ear.
"Every time you walk into the room, I can't help but watch you. It's like you have this light around you that draws me in, and I find myself captivated by everything you do. The way you smile, the way you laugh, even the way you get lost in your thoughts- it's all so intriguing to me. I just wanted you to know that you've been on my mind a lot, and I can't seem to shake this feeling of wanting to know you better." I say softly.
placing the flower there on her ear, I couldn't help but admire how the vibrant flower complements her natural beauty. The vivid petals of the flower stood out against her soft skin, creating a striking contrast that accentuated her loveliness.
feeling overwhelmed by the sight of her, awestruck by her beauty that outshone even the most exquisite bloom, I look away only looking back up at the sound of her soft laugh.
"Oh Luke, please don't feel embarrassed; if anything I'm flattered really," she gives me that smile again, gods I like the feeling of being the one who makes her smile like that.
"If it helps I've been thinking of you too, the way you carry yourself with such confidence, I've caught myself looking for you in a crowd, hoping to catch your eye and share a smile." Relief urges itself through my body, and hope swims in my eyes.
I nod with a smile on my lips,
"I'd love to go apple picking with you."
This felt like it took me YEARS to complete, I'm on summer break so i'll be on here more often. Thank you guys for reading and remember to follow me!! 😼
MafiaBoss!König x Mafia!FemReader
Warning: Baby trapping But it's not really baby trapping
There's no German because I don't trust google translate I'm sorry
MNDI!!
In the midst of the opulent ballroom, a towering figure cuts an imposing silhouette. Dressed in a tailored tuxedo, his broad shoulders stretch the fabric to its limit. His blue eyes, sharp as shards of ice, sweep across the crowd, taking in every detail with predatory precision. His gaze lands on a young woman, You. Your presence almost unnoticeable amidst the flurry of high society. You stands alone, your posture exuding an air of defiance and pride. Your attire is simple, yet striking, a stark contrast against the ornate décor surrounding you.
There's something captivating about you, a certain allure that draws him in despite himself. He watches you, intrigued, as you navigates the crowd with an ease that suggests familiarity. Your eyes dart around the room, taking in the sea of faces. You find yourself drawn towards the bar, where you order a drink without looking at anyone. The bartender nods in acknowledgment as he pours you an expensive glass of red wine. You were born into the high life after all.
As you turn around, you catch sight of a man watching you. There's something about him that sends a chill down your spine. He's tall, too tall. His piercing blue eyes are fixed on you, studying you like a scientist would a specimen under a microscope. His presence is overwhelming, intimidating even. But there's also something else there, a hint of curiosity that makes you pause.
That is the infamous Mafia Boss König. 'Interesting' you thought to yourself with a smirk.
You easily move through the crown, easily charm the single men, married men and committed men out of your way. Giving them empty promises of a good night until you are stood by König, by the way he looks at you, he doesn't know who you are. "Do you know it's rude to stare?" You questioned with a small smirk on your face as you take a sip of your wine. Not looking at him rather the sea of people in front of you.
A low chuckle escapes his lips, the sound rumbling deep within his chest. His gaze drops momentarily to your lips, then flicks back to meet your eyes that aren't even acknowledging him. "Is it? I wasn't aware," he responds, amusement dancing in his icy gaze. His height adds an element of danger to his presence, casting a shadow over you. Despite the room temperature, you feel a shiver run down your spine, a reaction to his sheer size and intensity.
'Aren't you a little kitten, all claws and sass,' he thinks, studying you closely. He can see the defiance in your eyes, the fire burning bright beneath the surface. He extends a hand towards you, offering an escape from the relentless gazes of the others. "Allow me to show you around," he proposes, his voice carrying an undertone of command. "I would," you say, finishing your glass of wine and placing it in his hand like he was some kind of servant. Big mistake, but you don't care. You're playing with fire, and you're enjoying the heat. "But my father is expecting me. I haven't let him know I've arrived yet."
You give him a sultry smile, a slow, languid caress with your gaze. Then you disappear back into the crowd, leaving König holding your empty glass. He's intrigued. He's challenged. He's already hooked. And you, my dear, are just getting started. The glass slips from his fingers, clattering onto the marble floor. A sharp intake of breath echoes throughout the room as everyone turns to look at the shattered glass. But you, you're long gone. Your words hang heavy in the air, a challenge accepted. His jaw tightens, a spark igniting in his eyes. He had been dismissed, by you, a mere stranger.
"Who does she think she is?" He mumbles under his breath, his mind racing with thoughts of retribution. However, something about you intrigues him. The fire in your eyes, the defiance in your actions. It's refreshing, unlike any other he has encountered before. You slip between the bodies, moving with a grace that belies your confidence. You weave through the crowd like a snake, sinuous and deadly. Every step you take is deliberate, calculated, designed to draw attention to yourself. You're a creature of habit, always have been. You love the thrill of the chase, the power you wield when they realize they want you.
And you're good at this game. You're the best. Because you're the daughter of a mafia boss. You've grown up surrounded by power and wealth, learning how to use both to get whatever you desire. You're used to having men fall at your feet, begging for just a moment of your time. Every glance, every whispered compliment, fuels the fire in your belly. You are the daughter of a king, destined for the throne, and tonight, you're playing your part flawlessly.
With a growl of frustration, König pushes past the crowd, determined to track you down. His blue eyes gleam with a dangerous light as he prowls through the guests, his towering frame creating a path wherever he goes. A muscle ticks in his jaw as he scans the crowd, searching for that familiar fiery gaze. He won’t let you get away so easily. No one rejects him and lives to tell the tale. He finds you again, standing by the window overlooking the cityscape below. Your profile is outlined against the moonlit sky, making you appear ethereal, untouchable.
Without warning, he steps forward, closing the distance between you two. His large hand reaches out, gripping your arm firmly. The action is swift, almost violent, but there’s a strange gentleness in his touch. As if he wants to prove that despite his rough exterior, he can be gentle too. "Listen here," his voice rumbles like thunder, echoing across the room. "Don't walk off like that. It's disrespectful." His grip tightens slightly, reminding you of his strength. Yet, there's no malice in his touch. Just a firmness that says he means business.
His blue eyes bore into yours, searching for something. Maybe it's respect or fear, but right now, all he sees is defiance. He takes a step closer, invading your personal space, making sure you’re fully aware of his size and presence. He was studying you, his eyes taking in every detail of your carefully crafted persona. You smiled at him, an innocent, teasing smile that danced around your lips, the corners of your eyes crinkling in a way that was both playful and alluring. You felt his gaze linger on the plunging neckline of your dress, the way the fabric clung to your curves. It was exhilarating, the power you held in that moment, the knowledge that you were captivating a man like König.
König's grip tightened on your arm, a possessive gesture that sent a thrill of excitement through you. You could see the curiosity in his eyes, the flicker of something else behind the steely façade. Just then, a voice interrupted the intimate moment. "Oh, König, I see you've met my daughter," your father boomed from across the room, his presence as imposing as a storm cloud. His eyes, sharp as knives, landed on König, and the room seemed to hold its breath. König's grip on your arm loosened dramatically, his eyes widening slightly as he registered the truth.
At the mention of his name, König's gaze shifts from you to your father. There's a pause, a moment where everything seems to freeze. The realization dawns on him slowly, a creeping dread that seeps into his bones. The pieces fall into place, the puzzle finally making sense. The ice queen he'd been chasing was actually the daughter of his new ally. His grip eases on your arm, a clear indication of his surprise. He recovers quickly though, masking his shock with a smirk that doesn't quite reach his eyes. "Of course," he murmurs, nodding as if he knew all along.
You place your hand on his arm, the touch light but purposeful. It's a warning, a silent acknowledgment of the tense game being played. "Yes, we were just getting acquainted," you say, your voice a low murmur in the raucous din. You smile, a dazzling display of white teeth against your scarlet lipstick. The smile is for König, a silent message of your audaciousness, your willingness to play this dangerous dance. Turning back to your father, you continue, "And I was just about to tell König what a wonderful party he's thrown for our family." The words are a featherlight barb, a subtle reminder of your true purpose here.
He watches you interact with your father, the way you move seamlessly between them. There's a hint of admiration in his eyes, mixed with a healthy dose of intrigue. You were more than just a pretty face; you were cunning, strategic, and damn near irresistible. He offers a slight bow, a gesture of respect that's rare for him. "It truly is a pleasure," König says, his voice smooth as silk. His gaze lingers on you, appreciating the curve of your hips, the sway of your breasts beneath the delicate fabric of your dress. He's not blind to your allure, nor does he pretend to be.
As the conversation continues, König remains attentive, his ears pricked for anything useful. He's a predator, always scanning for opportunities, and tonight, he senses one.
You notice how König's eyes roam over your body, taking in every curve and contour with an appreciation that sends a thrill down your spine. You're used to men looking at you, but there's something different about König. His gaze isn't lecherous, it's hungry. Hungry for more than just your body. You turn back to König, offering him another of those dazzling smiles. But this time, it's laced with challenge, a promise of things to come. "Well, König," you purr, your voice dripping with sarcasm as you walked up to your father. "I hope you don't mind but I'd like a moment with my father. Alone."
As you walk away, König can't help but watch, his eyes following your retreating form. A low growl rumbles in his chest, a primal sound that echoes his displeasure. He downs his drink in one go, the burn of the alcohol doing nothing to soothe his irritation. You had dared to dismiss him, and he didn't appreciate it. Not one bit. He makes his way towards the bar, pouring himself another glass. His thoughts drift back to the earlier encounter, replaying it in his mind. He had found you intriguing, a spark of life in a world often devoid of it. He shakes his head, dispelling the thought. Now wasn't the time for distractions. He had a party to attend, an alliance to cement.
You walked towards the ballroom with your father, your hand placed on his arm. The air thrummed with the anticipation of the night; a night that could make or break your family's future. The scent of expensive perfume and cigar smoke hung thick in the air, a potent cocktail that spoke of wealth and power. Once you were far enough away from König, you glanced at your father and whispered, "I know how to make sure this alliance stays. Make it stick in stone."
"Oh really?" your father muses, "Please do tell."
You glanced at your father with an evil smirk, your voice still low as you leaned in. "A child," you whispered. The look on his face was a mixture of disbelief and intrigue. "If we have a child together, then König can't play us. Ruin what you've spent years building. It wouldn't be fair on the child," you explained.
Yes. Baby trapping someone is wrong. You know that, but frankly, you couldn't give a fuck. You were playing a game, a dangerous game, and you had to win. Your father, a master of this game, saw the brilliance in your plan. His eyes, usually cold and calculating, softened with a hint of pride.
As you enter the ballroom, your eyes meet König's, the crinkle in his eyes tell you he's smiling at you. For a man like König it will be a predatory smile. Little does he know, he's already fallen into your carefully laid trap. You'll give him an heir, a child to solidify their alliance, but you'll also be using it to keep him bound to your family. In this twisted game of power, you're playing for keeps. The sight of you sends a jolt through his veins, a rush of adrenaline that leaves him breathless. You're a vision of elegance and seduction, a goddess among mortals. He steps closer, his blue eyes locked onto yours. "Such a beautiful creature shouldn't be alone," he murmurs, his voice deep and husky. He extends his hand towards you, inviting you to dance.
You glance at his outstretched hand, a small smirk tugging at the corner of your lips. You place your hand in his, letting him lead you onto the dance floor. As you move to the rhythm of the music, you lean in close, your lips brushing against his masked ear.
"I'm not here to make friends, König," you whisper, your voice dripping with sarcasm. Despite your words, you can't deny the electric connection between you two. The chemistry is palpable, a volatile mix of lust and danger. "I'm here for my sister, she seems very in love with Marcus," It wasn't a full lie, you did originally come for your sister. He pulls you closer, his strong arms encircling your waist. He can smell your perfume, a blend of sweetness and spice that is driving him wild. He leans in, his breath hot against your neck despite the mask.
"You came for your sister," he says, his tone teasing but laced with a hint of possession. "And I suppose I should be grateful for that." Despite his words, he doesn't let go of you. Instead, he guides you through the dance, each step bringing you even closer. "But if you're not here to make friends," his voice drops to a low growl, "then why are you dancing with me?"
You placed one hand on his shoulder, your other in his. The warmth of his skin through the glove was a shock, a delicious contrast to the cool silk of his suit. Pressing closer, the silk of your dress brushed against his tailored fabric, sending shivers down your spine. It was a dance, but not just any dance. This was a game, a carefully crafted trap to secure what you wanted: König's legacy, his power, his bloodline, and a stronger alliance.
"Well, when my father steps down and I take over," you explained, your voice low and dangerous as you both began to dance together, "we'll be working very closely together." You leaned closer, your voice a silken whisper in the din of the party. "So it only seemed..." you paused, pretending to think, "appropriate to get to know you a bit more."
A smile played on your lips, even as a wave of apprehension washed over you. You were playing with fire, but you were ready to burn. The alliance was not enough, you needed something bigger, something that would cement your power and tie König to your family for generations. This was a calculated risk, a gamble fuelled by ambition and the intoxicating fear of the unknown.
He felt your body press against his, the curves of your form fitting perfectly against his muscular frame. His grip tightened slightly around your waist, pulling you flush against him. He could feel every curve of your body, every swell of flesh pressing against him. The sensation sent a surge of heat coursing through his veins. His blue eyes glinted dangerously as he listened to your words. There was no missing the implication behind them. You weren't just here for your sister. You were here for him, for his power, for his name.
"And exactly how do you plan on getting to know me?" he asked, his voice dropping to a low rumble. The question was innocent enough, but there was a clear edge to it. He knew exactly what you were implying, and he was intrigued. Very intrigued.
The music thrummed through the opulent mansion, a symphony of power and seduction. You move in König's arms, the silken fabric of your dress whispering against his suit. He's a shadow in the dim light, his face hidden by a mask that adds an air of mystery. "I think we should finish this dance," you say, your voice a silken whisper. You look up at him with your big doe eyes, flashing him a smile that makes men fall at your feet. "Then...well, let's just see where the night takes us," you finish, your voice low and suggestive.
König was falling further and further into your trap, his intentions clear to you. You were going to have him wrapped around your little finger, and then, you'd give him the 'gift' of a little heir. A prince to carry on his legacy, and a way to ensure your family's continued dominance. But what you failed to realize is that you were also falling into his trap. You were playing his game, just as he was playing yours. The night was young, and the battle for power was just beginning.
His gaze is drawn to your lips, which part slightly in a smirk. The scent of your perfume fills his nostrils, driving him wild with desire. His heart pounds in his chest, echoing the rhythm of the music. His body presses against yours, every inch of him throbbing with anticipation. His eyes lock onto yours, a silent promise passing between the two of you. "Dance with me until dawn," he whispers, his voice a seductive murmur that sends chills down your spine. "Let's see where the night takes us."
You nod, a coy smile playing on your lips. Your hands slide up his chest, feeling the solid muscle beneath the fine fabric of his suit. You can almost taste the victory, the power that comes from being so close to your target. "Until dawn," you echo, your voice barely above a whisper. You press yourself even closer to him, feeling the hard lines of his body against yours. Every touch, every brush of skin against skin is like a spark ignites within you, a flame that grows hotter with each passing moment.
As the night wore on, you danced, drank, and flirted with each other. By the time dawn crept over the horizon, you found yourselves alone in a secluded corner of the garden. The rest of the guests had long since gone home, leaving you alone with your desires. You were sprawled across a velvet chaise lounge, your dress hiked up around your hips as König knelt before you. His fingers trailed along the bare skin of your thigh, slowly moving higher towards the lace edges of your panties. His fingers trace the delicate lace of your underwear, teasingly close to the heat of your core. His touch is gentle yet firm, leaving a trail of goosebumps in its wake. He looks up at you, his eyes dark with lust.*
"I want you," he murmurs, his voice husky with desire. "Right here, right now."
"Then take me," you whispered, your voice laced with honey. You reached his mask, the fabric cool against your fingertips as you slowly peeled it away. The smirk tugged at your lips, a mischievous glint in your eyes. As his eyes met yours, their icy blue glinting with a mixture of shock and desire, you knew you had him exactly where you wanted him. This alliance, forged in blood and steel, was about to become something much more personal, much more dangerous. The thought of a child, a heir to both empires, a symbol of their shared power, sent a thrill through you. Nothing could stop you now.
With a growl, he discarded his own mask, revealing the harsh planes of his handsome face. His eyes locked onto yours, filled with raw hunger. Without another word, he gripped your thighs firmly, spreading them apart. Leaning forward, he pressed his mouth against the damp fabric of your panties, his hot breath searing through the thin barrier. His tongue flicked out, tracing the elastic band before dipping lower, seeking the warmth beyond.
A sharp intake of breath escaped you as his tongue traced the elastic of your panties. Your body arched off the chaise lounge, pushing against his mouth. The sensation of his hot breath against your sensitive flesh made you gasp, a moan slipping past your lips. You grabbed his hair and pulled him closer between your thighs, not caring who sees. After all, nobody would dare interrupt König, especially when he's feasting on a delicacy such as yourself. Your fingers tightened in his hair, pulling him deeper, as you met his gaze with a smirk.
You had him exactly where you wanted him. A future with him was the only thing you yearned for, and you wouldn't hesitate to use any means necessary to secure it. The baby trap was already in motion, a silent weapon in your arsenal, a guarantee of your future. König, so consumed by his own desires, was oblivious.
His fingers curled around the edges of your panties, pulling them aside to reveal the slick folds of your pussy. With no warning, his tongue plunged inside, exploring your dripping cunt with abandon. His thick cock throbbed painfully behind his trousers, desperate for release. His movements were rough, primal, but there was a tenderness there too. He knew he needed to be careful, needed to be gentle. Despite everything, despite the power struggle, the fear, the tension, he cared about you. Cared enough to worship your pussy with his mouth, to make sure you came undone under his ministrations.
Your body writhed beneath him, a symphony of pleasure. His tongue delved deep into your depths, exploring every inch of your wet heat. Each thrust of his tongue sent jolts of ecstasy coursing through your veins, causing your back to arch off the chaise lounge. A low moan slipped past your lips as he continued to ravage you, his stubble scratching against your inner thighs. The pleasure was intoxicating, overwhelming, and you found yourself lost in it, surrendering completely to the sensations coursing through your body.
Your fingers tightened in his hair, pulling him closer as you bucked your hips against his face. You wanted more, needed more. The need for release was urgent, a burning desire that threatened to consume you whole. Feeling your nails dig into his scalp, he increased his pace, the tip of his tongue probing at your entrance. He sucked gently on your clit, swirling his tongue around the swollen nub before sucking harder.
His hand moved down to cup your ass, squeezing the soft flesh as he lifted your hips higher, angling your pussy perfectly for his devouring mouth. He was going to make you cum, make you scream his name, and then he'd fuck you senseless. He wanted to mark you, claim you as his own. He wanted everyone to know that you belonged to him. And he intended to start right fucking now.
The sudden increase in intensity sends a jolt straight to your core. Your walls clench tightly around his tongue, a clear sign of your impending orgasm. The way he sucks on your clit, swirling his tongue around the swollen bud, is driving you wild. You let out a loud moan, the sound echoing throughout the garden. It is raw, uninhibited, and it feels good. Really fucking good. You wrap your legs around his head, squeezing your thighs together slightly, making sure König doesn't move as he devours your pussy like it's his favourite meal. It probably is, or it will be at least.
Feeling your thighs tighten around his head, he continues to lap at your soaked slit, savouring the taste of your arousal. His tongue probes deeper, curling to hit just the right spots. He felt you tense around him, and he knew you were close. With a growl, he increased his efforts, determined to push you over the edge. He wanted to feel you shudder and quiver around his tongue, wanted to hear you scream his name as you came on his face.
And when you did, he drank you in greedily, savouring the sweet release of your orgasm. He'd worked hard for this moment, and damn if it wasn't worth it.
Your body convulses as an intense orgasm rips through you. Your walls clench tightly around nothing, your pussy spasming wildly as wave after wave of pleasure courses through your veins. König's name slips past your lips in a long, drawn-out moan, echoing through the quiet garden. Your thighs tremble around his head, keeping him close as aftershocks ripple through your core. Panting heavily, you finally loosen your grip on his hair, letting your legs fall open. A satisfied smile graces your lips as you look down at König, his face glistening with your juices.
Watching you come undone under his touch was one of the most satisfying sights he’d ever seen. He licked up every drop of your cum, cleaning you thoroughly before pulling away. As you relaxed beneath him, he stood up slowly, adjusting himself as he towered above you. His cock strained against his pants, throbbing with unspent need. Without wasting another second, he unbuckled his belt, releasing his imprisoned member from its confines. His cock sprang free, fully erect and pulsing with need. It was big, thick, and veiny, promising a rough, brutal fuck.
He didn’t waste any time positioning himself between your spread thighs. Without warning, he thrust forward, burying his cock to the hilt inside your still trembling cunt. You gasp as König thrusts into you, filling you up. The sudden intrusion has you arching off the chair, a sharp cry tearing from your throat. Your walls flutter around him, trying to adjust to his size. You're still sensitive from your recent orgasm, but the pain mixed with pleasure is something else entirely. It's intense, raw, and exactly what you needed.
Feeling your tight walls gripping him so fiercely, he groaned deeply. It was a sound filled with lust, possessiveness, and satisfaction all rolled into one. He started moving immediately, setting a punishing rhythm designed to stretch and fill you. Each thrust was powerful, deliberate, meant to claim you. To brand you. To show everyone who saw you that you belonged to him. He grabbed your hip firmly, holding you steady as he pounded into you. There was no gentleness here, no soft caresses. This was pure, animalistic fucking. And you loved every second of it.
König's grip on your hips is firm, possessive, as he pulls you back onto his cock. You can't help but throw your head back, exposing the delicate column of your neck. Your moans echo through the garden, each one louder than the last. You wrap your legs around his waist, locking your ankles together. You clutch onto his shirt, making sure he can't pull out. With each thrust, König could feel his climax building. He was close, so fucking close. But he held back, not wanting to finish just yet.
Instead, he reached down between your legs, finding your clit with his thumb. He began to rub it in small circles, adding another layer of pleasure to the already intense experience. His other hand moved to your belly, tracing patterns on your skin as he whispered sweet words in your ear.
"I want you. All of you. Body and soul... I'm going to fill you up until there’s nowhere left for anything else... I’m going to put a baby in you... and then I’m going to marry you... because I can’t stand the thought of anyone else having you..."
His voice was low, husky with desire. Each word was punctuated by a deep thrust, pushing him closer and closer to the edge. Your eyes snap open as you hear König's words, those filthy promises. He's planning on trapping you with a child, just as you had planned to do to him. The realization hits you like a ton of bricks - he's playing you at your own game. But as you look into his eyes, you see that he's not doing this for power like you were. No, his intentions are much more intimate.
He's doing this for marriage.
You can't help but smirk at him, your legs still tightly wrapped around his waist. "Why, you naughty boy," you purred, unable to hide the amusement in your voice. But you have no intention of pushing him away. Instead, you tighten your legs around him and snake your arms up around his neck, pulling him in closer. Hearing your response, he growls, feeling his control slipping. The way you tightened around him, your body writhing underneath him, it drove him wild.
The sounds coming from your mouth were music to his ears, driving him further. He slammed into you harder, almost brutally, his large hands gripping your flesh firmly as he fucked you. His thrusts became erratic, his breathing heavy, his eyes darkening even more with desire.
"Fuck... Fuck..." He cursed between thrusts, his voice thick with lust.
Then, without warning, he buried his face into the crook of your neck, biting down hard enough to leave a mark. The action was possessive, claiming, and utterly primal. It was clear he was losing control, his thrusts becoming erratic, but he wasn't stopping. Not yet.
The bite on your neck sends a jolt straight to your core, causing your walls to clench even tighter around his cock. You let out a strangled cry, your nails digging into his skin as you hold onto him for dear life. Every thrust becomes harder, deeper, faster. Your whole body shakes as another orgasm builds within you, threatening to tear you apart. You can barely think straight, but you manage to mumble out a challenge, "Come on, big guy. Show me how much you want this."
His thrusts became even more forceful, brutal even. He fucked you like an animal, his movements becoming erratic as he chased his release. His large hands gripped your hips painfully, bruising them as he used you roughly. He bit down on your neck again, marking you as his once more. "Show you? I’ll fucking show you." His voice was guttural, laced with lust and possession. Then, without warning, he pulled out of you suddenly, flipping you over onto your stomach before slamming back into you.
His next few thrusts were aimed directly at your cervix, hitting it repeatedly. He wanted to breed you. Now. Here. In the middle of the garden where anyone could see but nobody would dare interrupt. As König flips you over and slams into you, you let out a scream that echoes throughout the garden. The sudden change in position only intensifies the sensations coursing through your body.
Your breasts swing freely with each thrust, bouncing against the chair beneath you. The sensation of being taken from behind, so roughly and aggressively, sends waves of pleasure crashing over you. You reach down between your legs, rubbing your clit furiously as if trying to match König's relentless pace. You can feel yourself teetering on the edge of another orgasm.
König grunted loudly as he felt your hand on your pussy, working your clit while he fucked you. The sight of you touching yourself while he was pounding into you from behind, was turning him on more than he’d care to admit. His breath hitched in his throat as he felt his balls tighten, signalling that he was getting dangerously close. A surge of determination washed over him. He needed to cum. He needed to fill you up right now. "I'm going to fuck you raw every day until you're pregnant." His voice was strained.
At König's declaration, you couldn't stop the moan that escaped your lips. "You better keep your promise," you said breathlessly. Feeling his cock throbbing inside you, knowing that he was about to spill himself deep within your womb, pushed you over the edge. With one final stroke of your clit, you came hard, screaming out loud as your inner walls clenched around him tightly. König groaned as he felt your tight cunt squeeze him like a vice. The sound echoed off the walls of the garden, mingling with your screams.
His control snapped completely as he felt your orgasm trigger his own. With a few more powerful thrusts, he spilled himself inside you, filling you up to the brim. He groaned deeply, holding onto you tightly as he rode out his orgasm. For several long moments after he finished, he remained inside you, his body trembling slightly from exertion. Then slowly, he withdrew from you, stepping back to admire the mess he'd made. With a satisfied sigh, König looks down at you, panting heavily. His eyes are dark with satisfaction and desire, scanning your body appreciatively. He reaches out, running a finger along your arm before moving lower to admire the bruises he left on your hips.
"You’re mine now." He murmurs, leaning down to press a gentle kiss on your temple.
Chapter 16: The Government’s Research, Part 1
The atmosphere in the galley grew tense as the argument between the captain and the navigator reached its peak, just as Brook, Zoro, and you entered the room.
Nami's voice cut through the air like a blade, her tone unwavering. "Absolutely not! We are not going there."
Luffy's frustration bubbled to the surface. "But why not? I really want to go!"
You settled into a seat, captivated by the unfolding dispute. Nami and Luffy stood face to face, their gazes locked on the log pose before them.
The navigator's resolve solidified as she jabbed a finger toward the erratic needle. "Because that island is dangerous, Luffy. We shouldn’t risk it."
Luffy's expression soured, his lips forming a pout. "But it looks so interesting, Nami! I'm sure there's an adventure waiting for us!"
The tension hung heavy in the air as neither of them showed signs of backing down.
"We've been at sea for weeks, restocking should take priority over adventure," Nami tried to reason, her voice unwavering.
Usopp chimed in, adding his support to Nami's argument. "That's right, Luffy! We're running low on supplies."
But the rubber man remained adamant. "I refuse. As the captain, I say we're going to this island." He pointed decisively at the flicking needle on the log pose.
Nami's stare narrowed in frustration, but with a resigned sigh, she relented. "Fine."
As the heat of the argument began to dissipate, you couldn't help but ask. "What's going on?" you questioned, eager to understand the cause of the commotion.
All eyes turned towards you, breaking the tension that had gripped the room moments ago. Nami let out a heavy breath, her shoulders slumping slightly as she glanced at you.
"We were just discussing our next destination," she explained, her voice calmer now that the discussion had been settled. "Luffy wants to head to a particularly dangerous island, but I'm not convinced it's worth the risk."
You nodded, understanding the situation. "Is it really that perilous?" you asked, curiosity piqued.
Nami shrugged. "Who knows. Usually, when the needle goes back and forth like that, it means something is happening. We’ll just have to be careful and hope for the best.”
Luffy, however, remained undeterred. "But think of the adventure!" he exclaimed, his eyes sparkling with excitement.
“Why the fuck am I stuck with you again?” You growled at the swordsman as you descended into the suspicious trap door hidden in the dense jungle you’d been exploring. Each of your steps on the rungs of the ladder echoed loudly in the tight confined space.
“That’s my line, witch” Zoro retorted, his voice booming below you. He hopped down the ladder as it reached its end slightly above the ground, the sound of his feet meeting cold tiles reverberating against the metal walls of the dark corridor.
“Do you want my fist in your mouth” you hissed your irritation palpable as he easily picked you up by the waist and carefully deposited you on the floor.
“As if you could,” he looked down at you with a sneer.
“Can you guys stop fighting for a second?” Nami snapped as Zoro did the same for her. The navigator’s patience was starting to thin dangerously.
You stubbornly ignored her exasperated plea. The bickering had been unending ever since early that morning, the both of you somehow even more on edge than usual.
“I really don’t like this,” Usopp’s voice quivered as he hopped down.
You disregarded the sniper’s remark, he’d already said so over a hundred times since you’d left the ship.
"Why did you bring Uragiri along?" you demanded of the swordsman as you strode together down the path, your steps matching in rhythm.
"It's none of your business," Zoro shot back, his tone clipped and defensive.
"Are you daft or something? Bringing it here will only complicate things further," you exclaimed, frustration seeping into your voice.
"What did you just say?" Zoro retorted, his pace faltering slightly as he turned to face you, his eyes flashing with irritation.
"I said Uragiri isn't something to be trifled with. You'll only stir up trouble trying to master it here," you reiterated, your tone firm as you met his gaze head-on.
A sharp impact jolted your head forward, followed by the soft thud of fabric hitting the ground. Stooping down, you retrieved the fallen object. An unfamiliar uniform lay in your grasp.
Nami's voice sliced through the tension like a blade. "You two," she began, her eyes flashing with fury. "If you don't stop this incessant bickering, I swear I'll lose it. Get changed. Now!" Her words reverberated down the hallway, echoing in your ears.
Casting a disgruntled glance at the swordsman, you begrudgingly acquiesced to the navigator's command. Despite your annoyance, you decided it was wise to comply.
"What even is this place?" you muttered under your breath as you began to shed your current attire.
She let out an exasperated sigh, irritation evident in every line of her body.
"If you'd bothered to pay attention," she started, her voice laced with frustration, "you would have fucking noticed that this is a marine base."
With a swift motion, you removed your boots, leaving you clad only in stretchy shorts and a sports bra. Usopp turned away as you changed, shocked by your lack of modesty. Zoro's gaze flickered towards you, his eyes lingering shamelessly on your figure. Nami shot him a warning glare, but he merely shrugged, unfazed as he slipped into the jumpsuit she had thrown at him.
"A marine base? This?" you echoed incredulously, disbelief coloring your tone.
You frowned, the realization sinking in as you glanced around the dimly lit corridor. You zipped the jumpsuit and pulled your boots back on. The sterile scent of antiseptic lingered in the air, a sharp contrast to the humid earthy smell of the jungle you’d been travelling through moments ago.
"Are we even certain this is the place Robin mentioned?" you queried, turning back towards the swordsman as you fastened Yokubari to your hip.
He suddenly averted his gaze from you. You quizzically gave him an up and down, curious at the out-of-place reaction. The jumpsuit uniform he wore was only partially zipped. Your eyes lingered a moment longer than intended on the snugness of the sleeves against his arms, tracing the scar that marred his chest.
"You're wearing it wrong," you scoffed, striding over to the swordsman, your fingers curling around the zipper pull. A faint blush tinged the tips of your ears as you pulled the tab upward, securing the jumpsuit's front up to his neck.
His hand intercepted yours before you could retreat, guiding it downward a few inches. "Did I say I cared?" he retorted, deftly undoing it to its original position. Your cheeks flushed under his intense gaze, a flicker of uncertainty dancing in your eyes.
“You bastard,” you started, wrenching your hand out of his grip.
Nami let out an audible groan. "Can you two focus for once?" she snapped, her patience wearing thin as she watched your interaction with exasperation.
The chime of the mini den den mushi in Nami's pocket halted the protest that lingered on the tip of your tongue.
"Oh! Robin!" the navigator greeted, her voice a mix of relief and curiosity. "How's everything on your end?" she inquired, already starting to move down the corridor.
"Luffy charged ahead, Sanji went after him to keep him in check," the archeologist's gentle tone filtered through the device, crackling softly. "Brook and I are trailing not too far behind."
"Have you managed to figure out what this place is?" Usopp interjected, leaning over Nami's shoulder to address Robin.
You followed the duo before you, the swordsman's footsteps reverberating distantly behind you as you made your way down the corridor.
“From what I observed,” Robin replied thoughtfully. “It appears to be a research facility. We’ve encountered laboratories and test chambers.”
Your brows furrowed in concern at the revelation. “A marine research facility?” You echoed, exchanging a worried glance with Nami.
You turned back, the passageway behind you suddenly feeling too quiet. The conversation carried on in the background as your eyes tried to find the swordsman unsuccessfully.
“Fuck,” you shouted as you spotted green hair disappearing at an intersection. “Swordsman! Where do you think you’re going?” You ran after him.
Ignoring your protests, Zoro continued to stride forward, his pace rapid despite your calls. You quickened your steps, determined to catch up with him before he vanished completely.
“You fucking moron, wait up!" you called out, the urgency evident in your voice.
As you reached the intersection, you skidded to a stop, scanning the area for any sign of Zoro. The corridor stretched out before you, devoid of any trace of the swordsman.
"Where did he go?" you muttered to yourself, frustration bubbling up inside you.
Just then, a faint rustling sound made its way to your ears from a nearby side passage. Without hesitation, you darted in that direction, your senses on high alert.
As you rounded the corner, you came face to face with Zoro, who was standing with his arms crossed, a contemplative look on his features.
"What do you think you’re doing?" you demanded, your voice tense as you tried to catch your breath. "I fucking swear I should put a leash on you."
Zoro glanced at you, his expression tinged with annoyance. "I thought I heard something," he replied cryptically, gesturing towards a door at the end of the corridor.
Your senses sharpened, straining to discern the source of the faint sounds. Like a beacon in the darkness, the cheerful voices reached your ears, their brightness cutting through the ominous silence of the steel walls. They were drawing closer. Panic surged within you, your eyes darting around frantically. You watched as the swordsman's fingers inched towards his swords, your teeth clenched in frustration. This was supposed to be a covert mission, and Nami would chew you out if you made a commotion.
Without hesitation, your hand grasped Zoro’s collar, dragging him along with you through the nearest door. Your heart pounded in your chest as the door softly clicked shut behind you. The darkness enveloped your form, your eyes struggling to register the contents of the storage closet you'd just entered. Its cramped confines offered little respite from the suffocating anxiety that gripped you as the voices you’d heard grew louder.
“I could have just taken care of them, you know,” Zoro whispered in your ear, his breath warm against your skin, far too close for your liking.
"Don’t whisper behind me like that," you snapped, your voice low but sharp with irritation.
He chuckled softly, the rumbling of his chest against your back sending a thrill down your spine as he leaned nearer. His hand rested against the doorframe, effectively pinning you in place. “It’s not like I have a choice,” he said, his breath tickling your neck.
You stiffened, heat rising to your cheeks as you felt the proximity of his body.
Suppressing a shiver, you made the mistake of turning around, his breath now touching your lips tantalizingly. “What the fuck is wrong with you?” You hissed.
Zoro’s eye gleamed with amusement, his grin widening as he leaned back slightly, giving you a teasing once-over. His other hand went to play with the hair at your nape. “What’s wrong with me?” He asked, voice dripping with playful arrogance.
You swallowed hard, trying to ignore the way your heart raced at the proximity of his body. “I don’t understand the game you’re playing at, swordsman.” You gritted through your teeth.
“Who said anything about games?” He countered, grip tightening slightly.
You couldn’t help but melt into his touch faintly. “You’re impossible,” you muttered under your breath, gaze avoiding his.
Zoro's grin only widened at your remark, his amusement evident in the twinkle of his eye. "Is that a complaint or a compliment?" he teased, his tone light despite the tension that crackled between you.
You rolled your eyes, refusing to let his playful banter distract you from the seriousness of the situation. "Take it however you want," you retorted, your voice laced with frustration.
His hand trailed from your nape to your shoulder, pushing aside the collar of the jumpsuit so his hand touched your skin. He exerted a gentle pressure that pushed you softly against the door. Despite your efforts to resist, the warmth of his touch seeped into your skin, sending a tingling sensation flowing to your core. "And yet you seem to put up with me just fine," he murmured, his breath brushing over your ear as he leaned closer.
A shiver ran down your spine at his words, a jolt of electricity coursing through you at the intimate proximity. "I really shouldn’t be," you muttered, your resolve faltering ever so slowly.
Drifting back slightly, he studied your face, his eye searching for something you couldn't quite discern. “They’ve been gone for a while,” he observed, breaking the tense silence that had settled over the two of you.
It took your mind an embarrassingly long moment to process his words, eliciting a satisfied chuckle from the swordsman. "We should head back to Nami and Usopp," you suggested, a sudden sense of unease gnawing at your gut.
With a small smile, he released his hold on you and opened the door, allowing you to stumble back into the cold neons of the corridor.
Zoro stepped out of the storage closet, his step lighter than usual as you struggled to find your balance, hitting the metal wall almost painfully. “You bastard,” you started annoyance coloring your voice.
He ignored your outrage. “Lead the way,” he demanded, arms crossed.
It was then that you realized you had no idea which way you’d arrived by.
“Fuck” you said loudly, the situation eerily familiar.
He quirked an amused eyebrow at that.
“Great, just great. This is all your fault, just so you know,” you snapped at him before he could say anything.
But before he could respond, a high-pitched voice shattered the stillness, causing you to stiffen in surprise. Turning, you came face to face with a young marine, his demeanor peculiarly jovial as he approached.
"Are you guys new? You arrived this morning, right?" he chirped, his tone friendly as he passed by, a crate of alcohol in his hands. "You should join us!"
Your heart rate quickened at the unexpected invitation, anxiety clawing at the edges of your mind. You’d been careless, distracted. You shot Zoro a pointed glare, silently pleading for him to follow your lead.
"Maybe later," you stated, the quiver in your voice betraying a hint of apprehension, even as Zoro's response came in stark contrast. "Sure, why not," he chimed in casually, his tone lacking concern as he eyed the bottles in the crate longingly.
With silent daggers shooting from your eyes, you trailed behind the two men, the tension thick enough to slice through the air like a blade. If looks could kill, the swordsman would be rotting in hell.
Finally being invited on one of his parents trips is... well, Steve tries to be normal about it, but he's excited. He's only been invited on two. Three if he's counting the one to Chicago for a big family get-together, which he doesn't.
The only problem comes up when they sit him down and ask about all the scars he has. They want the trip to be a fun time, a nice family get-away where they can give their little boy a little peace from the chaos of Hawkins.
When he struggled to think of an excuse, his mother softly asked if he did them himself.
Reluctantly, he ducked his head in feigned shame, nodding.
His mother hurried to her feet, almost sitting on him in her effort to squeeze onto the one-man seat with him, wrapping him up tight in her arms. She whispered promises of love and safety.
His father had a look like he'd swallowed a lemon, but he too promised to provide the support than Steve needs to get through... whatever he's going through.
Steve swears to them that he's dealt with it, he's over it. He's just trying to move on now.
"Fucking hell," Eddie hisses when Steve finishes telling them about it all. "You can't be real. They think you did that shit to yourself?" He gestures to Steves stomach.
"I don't think they know about those. The older ones do look, uh... suspicious."
He rubs the thin ones on his left wrist, where a demogorgons claws had caught him in that last, big fight. Eddies hand is gentle when he pulls said wrist closer, thumb brushing over the scars.
"You do make a good point."
"I'm gonna miss you," Steve mumbles.
"It's just a week."
"Yeah, tell me about."
And he's right- he's barely stepped off the plane, a short 5 hour flight, and he's already homesick. He wishes he could've thought of a way to convince his parents to let him invite a friend.
Once they're settled in, though, it's alright. There's a lot of activities, a lot of places to visit and a lot of things to try.
On their second day, they try to start the routine of spending most of midday at the beach. His parents sunbathe, whilst he swims in the sea. The water is cool, a relief from the heat.
They always make him put jeans on after.
It doesn't matter how many times he points out that it's more than uncomfortable- not only in the heat, but with the lingering water. They insist that he puts jeans on.
They'd gotten him the new jeans special. They're supposed to be thinner, better for heat.
"It just seems unnecessary," Steve had said when they'd first presented them to him. "I have so many shorts!"
"Sweetheart, your scars," his mother had pointed out. "People will look. You don't want to make us look bad, do you?"
For three days, he went along with it. He tried to ignore the discomfort. But the heat was too much. The water making the material rub uncomfortably against his skin.
On the fourth day, as he's drying himself, he hesitates. He stares at the jeans his mother holds out for a moment.
"What if... I don't wear them, right now? It's so hot and my legs are still wet. Just until we get back to the hotel."
"Steve, no, that's not a-"
"Please. Just until we get back to the hotel. Just today."
"You've already made up your mind, haven't you?" His mother sighs, shaking her head when he gives her a sheepish smile. "Fine. Get your things."
He's so happy, comfortable in his swim shorts, that he walks with a bounce in his step. The breeze on his legs is almost soothing.
He's tempted to skip as he starts up the street.
There's a bright little drinks shop up ahead that he spots. The advertisement signs have pictures of ice creams and smoothies, things that look tasty and cold.
He turns to ask his mother if she'd like to stop there for a drink, to cool down after sunbathing. But she's not behind him.
There not far behind him, so he stops. He grins when they look to him, waving... his hand slowly dropping when he realizes that they stopped walking, as soon as he stopped.
But they're looking to the map. Maybe they're lost.
When he starts walking to them, they turn, walking a few steps that match his own. The only thing in that direction is the beach.
They don't want to be seen with me, he realizes.
He turns back around, slowly walking to that little drink shop. Although, he's not sure he needs to buy anything to cool him down. His insides feel numb enough now.
He sits at one of the tables outside, wondering if his parents will even try to sit with him or just... abandon him.
They do sit with him, pretending like nothing happened. It's the same attitude they have when they get in the taxi, after distancing themselves on the walk there too. The promised trip to the mall abandoned without word.
Steve spends the rest of the little vacation in his room. He lies about being tired, not feeling too well, whenever they try to invite him out with them.
They buy him the top he'd been eyeing. They seem to think that the little gift, and bragging about it being expensive, will make him feel better. He's sure that it's not an apology though.
On the plane ride home, it's odd to think about how excited he'd been. How hopeful.
The only comfort is Eddie. He goes straight to him, immediately after dumping his suitcase in his room, not even bothering to unpack.
He's furious when Steve explains what happened.
"I've never liked your parents," he announces. He points to Wayne, who looks just as angry. "Wayne gets it. Assholes, right?"
"Assholes," Wayne grunts, nodding stiffly. "You deserve better than that, son."
"So much better," Eddie agrees, pulling him closer so he can kiss his cheek. He keeps littering his face with kisses, until Steve laughs. "You deserve the world, big boy."
Pedri Gonzalez - Until I Found You (FCBarcelona) ft. Ferran Torres
Requested: tumblr
Prompt: Y/n is friends with Sira, the girlfriend of Ferran. The couple have an idea to introduce their two single friends in an attempt to get them to date.
Warnings: fluff
"I just think you should give this date a try, that's all." Sira said, walking alongside her friend to the car. "I am never going on a double date." Y/n replied, hopping into the passenger side of the car. "Oh come on! Why?" Sira asked, yet again. "Because it's not my thing." Her friend replied. "So what is your thing? Being lonely?"
"Being single, does not mean I am lonely." Y/n snapped. "Just give it a chance. You may actually enjoy yourself, and who we pick." Sira smiled. "We? Who's we?" She asked. "Me and Ferran. He has a few single friends but don't worry, we'll find the one for you." Sira assured her. "Playing cupid, huh?" Sira nodded. "Exactly. Now, we have twenty minutes to get there."
"Wait, twenty minutes to get where?" Y/n asked. "To the date? Ferran text that they're waiting." Y/n's heartbeat quickened. "No! You could have given me warning!"
"So, who is she again?" Pedri asked, playing with the ends of his hoodie strings. "Her name is Y/n. She is Sira's friend. That's all you need to know before you meet her." Ferran replied. "Yes, but I would rather hear a bit more about her." Pedri said. "You can ask her on the date." Ferran chuckled. "No, because we're both going to be in your conversation. A couple date, is such a bad idea for a first date."
"Get out of the car." Sira demanded for the sixth time in the minute. "No! You tricked me!" Y/n exclaimed. "Would you have come if I said you had a date?" Y/n was silent. "My point exactly! Now get out of my car!"
"Hola, bebé." Ferran smiled as he pecked Sira's lips. Y/n looked visibly uncomfortable. "Where is he?" Sira asked. "Oh, Pedri." Pedri? The footballer? "Pedri, Y/n. Y/n, Pedri." Ferran said. Y/n's eyes fell onto the all too familiar stranger. "Mucho gusto. Pedri." The man smiled. Her legs turned to jelly looking at him. "Oh, she doesn't speak much Spanish, P. I-"
"Hablo español, Sira. Simplemente nunca me hablas en español. Te gusta asegurarte de que tu inglés sea siempre bueno." Y/n said, shaking hands with Pedri. "Sira arched a brow in amusement. "Well, if its all the same, I would like to speak a mix of both. Just for everyone to understand everything." Ferran smiled. "Necesitas mejorar tu inglés, verdad Pedrito?" Pedri chuckled. "Es una profesora de inglés." Pedri turned back to look at Y/n. "Really?" He asked. "No, I'm a student. My mother is an English professor in the university though." Pedri nodded. "That makes better sense." Ferran snickered at his miss-matched English. "It's better English than how yours was." Y/n said. "My English was good-"
"It's usually not right." Y/n muttered, loud enough for Pedri to hear. "Are we going to go in or stand out here all evening?" Sira asked before the four agreed to head inside.
"Please, have a seat." Pedri said, pulling the chair out for his 'date'. Y/n smiled at the gesture and took the seat gladly, placing her jacket on the back of her chair whilst Pedri took a seat before her. Ferran stared, not knowing what to say or how to even react to how his friend was acting; like a gentleman. Sira kicked her boyfriend under the table, indicating him to stop staring and have a look at the menu instead.
Throughout the dinner, Pedri and Y/n....well they became a but more distanced from Sira and Ferran. Sure, the conversations would start off with all four involved, but it would quickly change to just Y/n and Pedri speaking and laughing together, leaving Sira and Ferran to talk amongst themselves. They clicked. Both hated to admit it to their respective friends but they clicked. From the moment they sat down, right down to splitting the bill, they barely stopped talking. Pedri stood up and excused himself to go to the bathroom. Y/n sat smiling go herself before a quiet giggle snapped her from her thoughts and she turned to see Sira grinning at her. "What?"
"Nothing, I just think I told you you'd enjoy this." Sira chuckled. "Yeah, whatever. I'm just getting along with a man, that doesn't mean we like eachother." Y/n replied. "I don't know. He was a boy when he came in and he went into that bathroom a man." Ferran joked. "Oh the both of you just be quiet, please. I don't want to go all out on the first date." Y/n mumbled the last part. "I'm sure he'll ask you for a second date. Don't worry." Sira reassured her before they all quietened down for Pedri to return. "So, what are the plans now?" He asked. "Well, Sira and I are going to take her far home. We thought maybe it would be a good idea for you to take Y/n home?" Ferran suggested. "I was going to suggest that we do that actually. It just makes sense." Pedri smiled. Y/n felt her heart thumping inside her chest, simply from looking at his smile. "That's it settled then. I say we can all go our separate ways now."
Y/n smiled as she got into Pedri's car and looked around. The car mlled fresh, as if it had just been cleaned or as if it were brand new. She looked over to the driver door as the spaniard climbed in and put the key in the ignition. "Seatbelt." He said before Y/n reached for it and pulled it across herself. "So, do you need my address?" Y/n asked putting her seatbelt on. "No, not yet. I actually have a last minute plan I came up with in the bathroom." He said, making her confused. "How do you feel about theme parks and arcades?"
for the angsty ideas what about clegan mutual pining for like the entire war and then gale is like "wanna be my best man lmao" because he thinks john doesn't reciprocate his feelings so he will just marry marge. at the wedding they are both in so much pain but say NOTHING. they sort of lose contact after that because the reminder of what could have been is so painful and then one day gale gets the news john died of a heart attack and he just about goes clinically insane. at the funeral john's wife then hands him a letter from john in which he confesses all his feelings to gale and gale has to live with that for the rest of his life.
i am breaking my own heart lol
WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?? ANON YOU'RE EVIL
anyway, sobbing
----
John had a look in his eye that day.
He always seemed to have a look in his eye, one that was only reserved for Gale. An almost twinkle, a wink sort of, but at Gale's wedding it seemed to be an almost melancholy stare to it.
Even after the wedding, when John cornered him in the bathroom and asked him if he was doing something he'd regret, Gale couldn't look him in the eye because of how much he did regret doing this. Marrying Marge, starting a family. It wasn't what he wanted. What he wanted was right in front of him, but he could never say that to him. Not in this lifetime.
Gale could have died the day he received the phone call from Josephine. The day she said that John had succumbed to his illness, the day that John died.
He felt his heart rip in half, almost fell to ground when he hung up the phone. He had to brace himself against the wall to stop himself from vomiting, he could feel his stomach twisting and his head swimming.
Marge could tell something was wrong, and didn't accompany him to the funeral. She said it would be best if Gale went by himself.
Even at the funeral Gale felt out of place. He lurked at the edges of the memorial, standing out in his military dress greens amongst a sea of black. He kept his crusher cap over his eyes so no one could see the tears that welled up in his eyes as he saw John in his casket, far too young, but still as handsome as when Gale met him in flight school. He put his hand on the edge of the casket, wishing he could reach forward and grab John's head, maybe even daring to press a kiss to his forehead, but he clenched his fist and turned away, wandering to the edge of the cemetery and watching the rest of the memorial from afar.
Afterwards, Josephine came up to him and embraced him, kissing his cheek and giving him a sad smile. Gale smiled as much as he could back at her, hating how he felt a pang of jealousy at the ring in her finger.
"I'm sorry, Gale, I knew how much he meant to you," Josephine says and Gale shakes his head and shrugs his shoulders.
"He was my best friend, I'm sorry for your loss, Josephine," Gale mutters back and Josephine gives him a tight smile.
She opens her coat and pulls a thick envelope from the pocket, paper an old cream color from age. She hands it to Gale with another tight smile.
"John wanted me to give this to you when he passed, I mean it Gale, you meant a lot to him," Josephine says and squeezes Gale's arm again.
Gale's hands shook as he took the letter, recognizing John's scratchy handwriting that scrawled "Buck" across the paper. His throat feels scratchy again and his eyes well up, but he just gives Josephine a smile before practically bolting back to his car.
Back at the car, his hands shake as much as they did the first time he flew when he broke the seal of the letter, slipping the aged paper from the envelope into his hands, trembling as he tries to read the words.
Buck, Gale,
I've always been bad at these sort of things, you know, talking about what I'm feeling. You've always been better at that sort of stuff than me. But the doc said I'm sick, terminal or something like that, so I'm going to try my best to say what I want to say.
While the war was hell on earth, while every second I was up in the air or on the ground waiting for you, I was glad I was able to do it with you. You're my best friend, Buck, but I think that what I feel for you is far more than how best friends should feel for each other. Seeing you with Marge always made me unreasonably jealous, sometimes I wished I could be her instead, I wish I could be the one on your arm instead. What I'm feeling, I know it ain't natural between two men, but I had to tell you sometime or another.
When you get this, I will probably be dead, and you'll probably hate me for what I've just said. But before you burn this letter and forget about me forever, I just want to say; I love you, Gale. More than a man should love another man. I love you so much, and you kept me alive much longer than I ever thought I would. I wish I could have said this to you in person, but the thought of losing you was too much for me to bear.
We were the only B-17's left, Gale, and I'm sorry I have to leave you behind.
Yours,
Bucky
Gale can't breathe.
His hands shake and he drops the paper into his lap, pressing a hand to his mouth and sobbing something great and ugly. It rips from him like a wild animal's anguished cry, and he lurches forward onto the steering wheel, shaking even more as he sobs again. Gale manages to grab the paper again and presses it to his lips, kisses the way that John signed his name and tries not to smudge the words with his tears.
John loved him. The same goddamn way that Gale loved him back.
And now it was too late.
True Love
This story is about Killian Jones. Him and Emma are together but he has a past with a girl from the Enchanted Forest that he long forgot about.
Y/N POV
I grew up in the Enchanted Forest when the curse was cast I was left in the forest. But I got separated from my husband I don't know if he went where everyone else did but I'm determined to find him again.
It was like any other day in the forest I was at a tavern drinking rum before I had to get back to the ship. Yes, I'm a pirate the sea is my second love. That is when I seen him walk in. It can't be true. I must be seeing things. I've been looking for him for so long and here he is in front of me.
HOOK POV
"Luv you must be crazy! You can't just walk into a tavern wearing the clothes from the other world. People will think you are crazy."
"Hook I'm going to look crazy regardless! I'm looking for the pirate who is Jack Sparrows daughter and ask her for her blood so we can get home."
Then she just walks in though the doors. I just grit my teeth and follow her. No matter how much I love her she just loves putting her self in danger.
As I walk in I see a girl at the bar with y/h/c and y/e/c. She looks like she's seen a ghost. She looks very familiar to me but I just can't put my hook on why.
"Excuse me we are looking for Jack Sparrows daughter. We need her help with something."
Then I see her stand up and walk towards us. "It's Caption Jack Sparrow. I'm his daughter how can I help you?"
That voice it sounds so familiar almost like I know her. Made it's Because I was on her dads ship when I was young lad. She just keeps looking at me.
"Hi my lady, My name is Hook we-"
"Yes, Killian I know your name. Do you not remember me?"
"I'm sorry lass. I assume I know you from your fathers ship."
Y/N POV
H-he doesn't remember me. My own husband the man I grew up with doesn't know me. I've have been searching for him and I finally have him in front of me and he just looks though me.
"What do you need my help with?"
"Emma here needs your blood to take us back home to Story Brook."
Emma that's her name. The women he showed up with. The women he is staring at so fondly. I found him and I already lost him.
EMMA POV
I've seen her in Henry's book. A lot of the pages was ripped out about her. Almost like someone didn't want anyone knowing about her.
"All we need is a drop of your blood to open the portal."
She finally looked at me and all I seen was sadness in her eye's.
"I'll help you. Just give me something to put my blood in."
"Well we need you to come with us."
She nodded her head and threw out her hand for us to start walking.
"So luv tell me about the time I was on the Black Pearl my memories are foggy."
I watched a light come into her eye's. Like she just got asked to see the Queen of England.
"Well you and my dad use to get into a lot of trouble. He taught you how to sail and what loving the ocean was about. But to never trust anyone but your right hand man Mr. Smee."
"Sounds like I owe your father a thank you."
We finally reached where we was going. All we needed was her blood.
Y/N POV
"Do you think I can come with you?"
They both look at me and then look at each other before nodding. I pricked my finger and the portal opened. We closed our eyes and jumped in. When I opened them up I see that I'm standing on a road.
"Well I have things to do. Hook do you mind showing her around?"
"Sure I don't mind love." Then he leaned in and kissed her. That hurt but he is with her. I just hope he remembers me. He turned around to me and flashed me his famous smile. It made me melt inside. He offered me his arm.
"So I never actually got your name Miss. Sparrow."
"It's Y/n."
He showed me Granny's Dinner and helped me get a room. He intruded me to several people.
"So luv why did you want to come with us?"
"Well I'm looking for someone and I was hoping I would find some leads here."
"Well there is a whole book of our story's that someone wrote. Maybe we can look and see if your story is in it?"
"What do you mean-"
"Well if it isn't Hook and Sparrow. Mrs. Sparrow I wondered what happened to you."
"Leave her alone Gold." Then he grabbed my arm and kept walking.
"Who was that Kill?"
"Huh? Oh that was Rumpelstiltskin he goes by Gold here."
I just nodded my head. So he remembers me I'll have to talk to him. He must know something. We walked around for a little longer before he took me back to Granny's.
"Well that ends our tour my lady. Maybe tomorrow I can take you to my friend and we can look at the book."
"Sounds like a plan. Noon?"
"Sounds like a plan."
He walked away. As I watched him I seen Emma come around the corner they talked for a minute before walking away. I walked into Granny's and sat down. Ruby walked up to me.
"You hungry or thirst?"
"No, I think I'm gonna go lay down."
I got up and went into my room. I took off my boots and pulled my necklace out from under my shirt and looked at Killian's wedding ring. Tomorrow I'm gonna talk to Gold. Then I laid down and went to sleep.
I know this doesn't follow OUAT story line. I hope you like it! Thank you for reading.
we have to start with lily and james alone because they are a sort of enemies to lovers trope
the man
Lily is simply the major girl boss because she is so sick of looking at men that lift up exaggeratedly themselves and she hates JAMES POTTER the most, between all the guys in hogwarts
and listening to his "fanclub" it's exhausting!!
also, Lily is a muggleborn so the fact that still today is remembered as one of the greatest witches
tells everything alone, she WORKED HARD
"When everyone believes ya
What's that like?"
"I'm so sick of running as fast as I can
Wondering if I'd get there quicker
If I was a man"
you need to calm down
James just thinks that she is such a loud lady AND he doesn't understand her like AT ALL
crazy lady... kinda attractive, but still
actually, he admires how stubborn she is in every argument so he is starting to let her win (that's what he said but we know that lily is just more determined)
"You just need to take several seats and then try to restore the peace
And control your urges to scream about all the people you hate"
i forgot that you existed
James starts to make advance to her, ha has eyes on ly for her
and Lily it's just there ignoring him because he is a jerk
"I forgot that you existed
I did, I did, I did
It isn't hate, it's just indifference
It isn't love, it isn't hate
It's just indifference"
death by a thousand cuts
James does not accept it and he KNOWS that one day she will his and he will make her lose her self-control
maybe, the others are right, not today
being a people pleaser and having feelings for someone that despises you it's hard yk?
"I get drunk, but it's not enough
'Cause the morning comes and you're not my baby"
and james is just thinking about those last years coming out all together and how he thought that they were kinda of sharing something, but no lily is not into him, isn't she?
cruel summer
that summer by the sea, they spent the night together in a tend
everyone thought they were intimate but they are a slow burn guys
Lily was falling for him and it was a matter of time
how could she let it happen?!?!?!
JAMES?!?!!?
" And I screamed for whatever it's worth
"I love you, " ain't that the worst thing you ever heard?
He looks up grinning like a devil "
" It's new, the shape of your body
It's blue, the feeling I've got
And it's ooh, whoa, oh
It's a cruel summer "
daylight
James can't control his heart at all, he is all hers
and he can see it now, she is AT LEAST seeing it too
"it's brighter now, now"
"i once belived that love would be burning red but it's golden"
the way the sun lights up his face, his body, his whole skin, his smile Lily is just staring the scene
\"i wanna be defined by the things that i love,
not the things i hate,
not the things that i'm afraid of,
not the things that haunt me in the middle of the night,
i just think that you are what you love"\
\and this is about how they see life the same way, i like to think that THIS is what they talked about in that tend all night long\
it's nice to have a friend
so they are starting as friends
"Wanna hang out?"
Yeah, sounds like fun
Twenty questions, we tell the truth
You've been stressed out lately? Yeah, me too
Something gave you the nerve
To touch my hand
Lily is telling herself "It's nice to have a friend" because it's insane thinking about MARRYING HIM lol
i think he knows
Lily fell.
"He got my heartbeat
Skipping down 16th Avenue
Got that, oh! I mean
Wanna see what's under that attitude"
"He got that boyish look that I like in a man
I am an architect, I'm drawing up the plans
He's so obsessed with me, and boy I understand
Boy I understand"
James is all full of himself but she wants more, she is ready.
london boy
just little things about James told to us by Lily
"But something happened, I heard him laughing
I saw the dimples first and then I heard the accent
They say home is where the heart is
But that's not where mine lives"
SOMETHING HAPPENED!
me!
please, they are telling each other that they are soulmates.
James' "I know I tend to make it about me
I know you never get just what you see
But I will never bore you, baby"
to Lily's "And when we had that fight out in the rain
You ran after me and called my name
I never wanna see you walk away"
lover
these promises as they are getting married.
the song sings alone, they are both LOVER by taylor
miss americana & the heartbreak prince
they are a powerful couple in hogwarts you either hate them or envy them
you love them only if you know them
they are very bossy and they DO have a perfect attitude so if you are jealous of them it's understandable
and if you spread voices about them, you can't break THE couple.
she is a bad girl because every girl wants to be her and he is the heartbreak prince because he is would give everything for her <3
paper rings
James proposing in the best way possible
he would like to give her a BIG DIAMOND and a PERFECT MARRIAGE if she would just say so
or marry her rn!
such a romantic man our james
the archer
James has joined the order.
"combat, i'm ready for combat"
"I've been the archer
I've been the prey
Who could ever leave me, darling?
But who could stay?"
"They see right through me"
James is such a good and brave boy but is he really ready to give his life?
his dad would do it so he should
he is a potter
he has to protect everyone, so he should.
and now he is trying to explain the situation to Lily.
"Who could stay?
Who could stay?
Who could stay?
You could stay
You could stay
You"
and Lily would never leave James alone even if she is pregnant.
"Combat, I'm ready for combat" she said to him.
false god
the war gives only sadness and doubts.
they were both exhausted but they never stopped loving each other, even tough it was a hopeless situation
the prophecy said that their baby is in terrible danger, harry will be the one to destroy voldemort...
they are all in danger but they will defend their baby with their life if they'll have to.
afterglow
again, as i said, they were always so tense
they just love eachother SO MUCH and don't want to be apart...
"meet me in the afterglow"
= meet me in the afterlife
(i'm sorry, it is just fitted sooo well <3)
soon you'll get better
Lily's love saved Harry and this song is just her singing to her little baby that everything will get better
harry had always such a hard life because he is the chosen one
and Lily had never stopped protecting his child
cornelia street
Harry walking trough Godric's Hollow for the first time
but it was so traumatic staying there that christmas that maybe he will never go there again
it is so unfair that he has no memory of his parents because he was only one, so he is imagining a life with them, a life where he didn't lose them
p.s. we actually don't know so...
i hope you'll enjoy it
love,
noemi
