#i'm so excited for the rest of this show

Finally got to watch NCIS: Origins and I am loving it!! The last line of the episode.... I literally gasped. Even though I was already hooked, now I'm locked in.

Franks is perfect. The actor has these tiny little mannerisms that embody him so well and really add to the believability of it. Randy seems awesome. Love Austin Stowell as Gibbs. Perfect stoic traumatized guy just trying to get by. Oh, and the failed psych eval, with Franks sticking his neck out for him? Love seeing the seeds of the dynamic they later have. It all makes a lot of sense. Their headquarters is also awesome. I love the set design and cinematography so far. Also the soundtrack. Breaking out of the typical procedural style is so exciting. I feel like I hallucinated this show, and I can't wait to see how they do it with the Tiva show.

Also there's some great dialogue, especially from Franks. And a little hint of the Gibbs gut. And I don't even know where to begin with getting more flashbacks of his family. The ones at the end that flashed between his family and old Gibbs were so cool. More of that will break my heart. I had not expected to see Mark Harmon, but it was so nice to see him at the beginning, living it up in Alaska. I wonder if he's telling this whole story for someone specific, and it will be revealed who at the end of the season. I'm also really intrigued to see more of Franks' character.

Last thought: If they go on multiple seasons, I really really really want to see Jenny Shepard. But now that I see this is centered around Lala I'm thinking that's unlikely. Either way, I'm way more hype for this than I ever thought I'd be. I definitely thought at first when they announced it that it was kind of an unnecessary series, but it's so well done and allows them to be really creative with their style. Great showrunners too, I recognize those names. And the riff on the NCIS theme song at the end 🙏🙌

Axew, Frigibrax (back to back shinies! saw the Axew while in battle with Frigibrax), Sneasel, Komala, and Wattrel

funnily enough I was only actively hunting Frigibrax lol and forgot Fraxure + Axew spawned nearby and got lucky with two lil dergs! Wattrel was a lovely treat as well! it was the first shiny I originally got in Scarlet from my first time doing outbreak hunts so it's got a special place in my heart ♥

I finally watched the Knuckles show! (In time for Sonic 3 tomorrow)

My God...

The peak cannot be understated. I went into the show with low-ish expectations because I'd heard that so many people were disappointed with it, Knuckles was barely in it, the Wade side wasn't compelling enough.

I was actually, very pleasantly and surprisingly, blown away. Knuckles does take a backseat for the latter half, that's true, but I didn't even mind? The human actors in the show were all such powerhouses I enjoyed every single one of them.

Agent Willoughby - brilliant lady with a compelling motivation.

Agent Mason (Kid Cudi) - fantastic, in it for the cash and I respect that.

The Buyer - the dark side of GUN and the aftermath of Robotnik's downfall was extremely yummy lore.

Wade's Mother - I LOVE HER I WILL DIE FOR HER her bonding moments with Knuckles were absolutely precious and I got to learn a little bit about Jewish-American culture through her which is a fun thing for me personally!

Wanda - Kill her idc.

The human cast were so valuable in the show I didn't actually mind that sometimes Knuckles was chilling elsewhere. Knuckles himself was just such a gem throughout, I was so deeply enjoying this little slice of sci-fi life. Knuckles and Wade bonding over the hurt they've been dealt in the past, Wade being a part of Knuckles' journey to seeing Earth as his home ("I will see you soon, my friend" in the elevator AAAUUFGFHHH). The way I actually cried a few times during this show? Wade's mother trying to protect her son from his shitass father - these moments were so heavy and real and I was so thankful for them. In our silly little Sonic the Hedgehog Side Series.

Overall I think it's just so peak. It's so silly but also not. The action choreography was COOL, the Flames of Disaster rock opera was something out of a fever dream but I didn't care because look at the set pieces and the costumes! Michael Bolton was there! Every single person on this show put their entire soul into being a part of it, and that's why it is so entertaining, I think. They made it so.

I love the Knuckles Show. I love that I'm living in an era of Sonic where we get to have this. The fun, and that's what it is. It's FUN. It's so fun and enjoyable. Little kids are getting to grow up with this as part of their Sonic journey and I feel like a big kid, getting to see my favorite little guys being loved again by the entire world. It's just special. It's so special.

just finished the first two episodes of the percy jackson show here are my thoughts:

(spoilers ahead ofc)

the opening scene has my whole heart, straight from the books, so so so good

THE CHARACTERIZATIONS OMG

the casting is perfect for everything

the rick riordan cameo!!!!!!!!!! so exciting

grover snitching on percy

i'm sad they didn't show the dream with the two animals fighting

i loved how they showed percy's dilemma thinking something was wrong with him, the way walker portrayed it was amazing

"your dad's a god" "like JESUS???" that made me laugh so hard

i kept singing the lightning thief musical at parts of it (like at the minotaur scene, i was saying "don't pass out, don't pass out, don't pass outttttttt" or when percy was accepting the quest it was "he's been less my dad and more absentee but if my mom's alive, that's where she's bound to beeeee")

i can't wait to have more annabeth

CHRIS RODRIGUEZ??????? took me a sec to figure out who the guy was but then i freaked out

i actually almost started crying when percy was burning the blue food for sally

just shows how much sally jackson is a goddess who deserves the world and also how much percy loves his mom, i felt like their relationship in the show and how it was portrayed just adds so much depth to it

in words of my sibling "dior looks too nice to be clarisse" LMAO

but i did think they did the capture the flag/fight scene perfectly although i wish clarisse had said "CREAM THE PUNK"

The claiming scene was a bit underwhelming ngl

i wish they showed percy's loneliness after the claiming a bit more before going straight to chiron and mr d talking about the quest

also i wish mr d had talked about how he wants to turn percy into a dolphin LOL

grover has my whole heart i love grover so much and i love the way aryan is portraying it

luke being percy's first friend and then he's gonna betray him and i think they did such a good job with their relationship so far

in conclusion, i can't believe it's happening and it's here and i will be adding on as i continue to watch and rewatch

it's really funny seeing everyone salty posts about the hidden agenda finale and i actually agree with everyone but the thing is!!!! i'm just vibing!!!!

i went into this show with absolutely ZERO expectations (and in fact, i would have been extremely surprised if this show ended up being actually good dkfjkfddf), i've never given a single shit about the plot and/or the writing bc i came here for the joongdunk vibes and the joongdunk vibes alone and i had a blast watching this series

like, i'm not even gonna bother criticising this drama bc from the beginning i didn't expect it to be very impressive anyway and so i'll just keep sitting here in my pile of garbage and vibing with it <3333
