SPIDER'S ATTEMPTING HIS VERY FIRST COMMS!!!! RAAAA!!!!! (I’m legit sooo fucking nervous - everyone point & laugh /lh)
Tumblr media
Info below ↓ (looks like way more than it is)
- As I said, this is my first time doing commissions, so thank you in advance for your patience with me. Contact me via email ([email protected]), Tumblr DMs, or Discord (eldritchwhore_) - whichever you’re most comfy with - if you’re interested! I'm also open to using other social media(s) you prefer, just let me know what. :]
I WILL draw:
NSFW (only of 18+ characters)
SFW (characters of all ages)
Fan art
Gore/Injury
Ship Art
etc. (just lmk)
I WON'T draw:
The obvious (anything hateful or illegal)
Furry (genuine skill issue on my part)
Mecha (again: skill issue)
Realism
ETC.
you can always request to see my progress, but I will show you when I am halfway finished, either way, incase you want to make any changes.
$ up front - it won't be spent until after completion.
Payments via Paypal, Cash App, or Venmo.
-
MORE INFORMATION:
If you do decide to commission me, first of all, thank you sooo much in advance! And Please keep in mind, that there is a vanilla family member currently holding and running all of the financial service apps (Paypal, Venmo, Cash App.) They do know that I draw adult content, but they do not know the specifics of what kinds of adult content (& I'd love to keep it that way lol.) So if you do decide to leave a note with your payment, please, please, PLEASE, make sure that the note is appropriate, otherwise blank is also completely fine. Have mercy on my soul, basically. If you are getting some NSFW artwork and wanna talk specifics, please do so with the email provided above (& again right here: [email protected]), Tumblr DMs, Discord, etc. so that you know you are talking to me.
Also, if you contact me & don't get a response right away, my timezone is EST (I could be asleep,) and my life's been a little stressful lately to say the least. But I promise that I will get back to you ASAP. Furthermore, if there are any delays during the process of actually making your commission, I will immediately reach out to you and keep you in the loop. - major shoutouts to my homies, @indulgnc - for helping me figure everything out. He helped me with the base sheet, some common art terms that I somehow didn't know the meanings of, coming up with good prices, & basically walked me through the entire process. I would’ve been way too clueless and way too chicken shit to even attempt this without him.
and @dsnzfb - for allowing me to use a drawing I made of her ocs Cactus & Rose, as one of the examples above. I needed a good example of a colored bust-up, & dye’s color palette for her characters is so gorgeous. thank you guys for always being so supportive - y'all rock. I don't know if I can actually do anything to help dig myself & my family out of the hole we’re in with ocs, & kink art, but goddamn it, I will certainly try. -

Tumblr media
Pretty hastily slapped together, but here's a comm sheet for those who were wondering about the prices in my pinned post! I'm a little nervous about taking comms from social media again, but I'm open to it as my family needs the money so often now...
More recently, I've taken to working on iPad - this will be a more common thing as the summer months roll around and it becomes too stuffy to stick to my PC for working on art.
Here's what I CAN do, for the moment:
Cute, simple designs - Pokemon and simple (rookie-level or earlier) Digimon are a strong suit of mine, but if you have a wonderfully simple OC I can work with too then it'll do!
Cats. I loooove drawin' cats! If you have a Warriors OC, chances are I can draw em.
Fluffy stuff overall! (As long as it's simple enough, obviously - Fluff is another comfort thing I looove to work with. This means literal fluffy stuff like fuzzy animals/critters, and figurative fluff like cuddles and tickles!)
Sans!! (No seriously, I funkin love drawin' sans. If you got a Sans I can draw, I will happily draw him!)
Here's what I CAN'T do, for the moment, on the other hand:
NSFW art (This is because a) there's minors who follow this blog - I have to keep that stuff away (and keep them safe)! and b) I'm not ready to take NSFW commissions, and probably won't be a for a while.)
Heavy gore and themes (It's a lot to work with, and it's not something I personally dabble in if at all, so the result would NOT be to your liking if I tried more than likely lol)
Intricate Detail (I have my reasons for this! My wrist has been acting up more often in the last few years and so intricate detail is... overwhelming for me, right now, outside of personal work. It's just not a strong suit of mine, as much as I'd love it to be - it's not quite a part of the art style as it is right now.)
Added notes:
- I have the right to decline a commission if it either makes me uncomfortable to work with it or otherwise is overwhelming. That is to say, if one artist can't achieve what you're looking for then usually that's an indicator to hold onto your money for a bit until you find the right person!
I send the paypal link at the halfway point (the sketch, just before lineart) normally - but if you want to pay upfront, then please let me know. (I don't wait until the piece is completely done as a safety measure to ensure the person commissioning me doesn't nab the piece and run lol)
I CANNOT REFUND ONCE THE COMMISSION IS PAID FOR. The money goes STRAIGHT into family-related necessities like bills and groceries, and I absolutely CANNOT afford to return money when we are consistently struggling to even get food for the house, nevermind commissions. (It's also just kinda mean?? :c)
I am on commission burnout - what this means is that my work may take longer than usual to get done, but I hold to my word that I get it done no matter how long it takes. If you need the piece done as priority, then make sure you specify when giving the details for your commission! (I do best, however without a time limit or deadline to work with.)
As of right now, I'm practically (metaphorically) crying for simple designs due to this burnout! I need something I can just fly through to get done so I don't stress myself out further on a queue that's been waiting to be done for a hot second.

Hi folks! I'm going to be doing commissions over the winter season! I'll have an explanation of stuff below the read more, but if you're interested, PLEASE EMAIL ME @ [email protected] . We can discuss comm details and figure out payment there, but in general expect to pay half upfront/with confirming my sketch and the rest upon receiving your comm.
I'm going to be offering 3 kinds of commissions: Icons, Character Designs, and Illustrations.
Icons will be shoulder up character of your choice (or person not just characters) with an abstract background you have a say on and I can size it according to your needs. These are $15 (American dollars).
Character designs are a grab-bag term for character sheets, turnarounds, or alternative outfits. A basic character sheet will include a full-body of your character and some details of your choice (items they carry, important information about them, facial expressions, close up details). These will be $25, with an extra $10 tacked on per additional figure you want (so if you want a turnaround, that would be at least $35, maybe more. Likewise for having alternative outfits).
Illustrations come in two distinct flavors: Simple and Complex. Simple illustrations will have cell shading and simplistic backgrounds (abstract shapes, blurred images, etc). Complex illustrations will have painterly shading/rendering, and in-depth backgrounds (perspective, interiors, so on). Simple illustrations will be $40 and complex illustrations will be $60.
I'm willing to draw:
Human designs
Anthro designs
Simple mech designs
OCs
Fan content (fandoms I would especially love to do stuff for is In Stars and Time, Homestuck, Deltarune, the Locked Tomb series, Dungeon Meshi, and probably some others I'm forgetting)
Suggestive content* (this will need to be discussed in the email you send what kind of content you want)
Your loved ones! I'm more than happy to draw art of your pets, your partners, your family, and so on!
I will reserve the right to deny commission requests, and to adjust the pricing of a commission by 25% in either direction. These adjustments will be based on my own personal interest, as well as complexity and intensity of the request. I will inform you if I have done this.
Turnaround for your comms will be slow until December 9th (a week or more), but after that turnaround should be only a few days! If you're doing something as a gift I can make sure it's done in time for the relevant day.
I can do financial exchanges through Paypal, Ko-fi, and Stripe!

Hi I'm opening up personal comms again because I'm moving in a couple of months and want to save up some extra money if I can. No slot cap rn but I'll close them if I get more than I'm expecting at once. I'll make a page on my website soon with the queue on it.
DM if interested.
Art Tag | Portfolio
Terms of Service under the cut. By purchasing a commission, you agree to these terms.
I (the artist) retain the right to refuse any commission for any reason.
Image references of some kind are required. Ref sheets preferred. It also helps to give me an idea of the character's personality.
Please specify any details you want included (pose, action, prop, expression, etc.). Keep in mind I have a toony style and may simplify complex patterns or omit small details unless instructed otherwise.
I will ask for approval on the sketch before inking and the lineart before colouring. I will not do major revisions after the lineart has been approved.
Full payment is due when the sketch has been approved. Prices are in USD and the transaction will be completed via Paypal invoice. If payment has not been received within 30 days of the invoice being sent, you will be removed from the queue.
In the event that the commission is cancelled on behalf of the artist, a full refund will be given. Otherwise, the commission is nonrefundable.
Personal or otherwise non-commercial usage only. If you are looking for commercial assets, we would negotiate the price, but I typically do not do commercial work.
Image copyright is retained by the artist unless agreed upon in writing.
Commissioned images may not be used for any purpose relating to neutral network training / AI image generation, non-fungible tokens, or crypto currency.

please do bear in mind that some of these feature an old artstyle.

COMMISSIONS! FROM ME! YAY!
Status: Open!
okay, gonna start this with.. i have no idea how to make a comms info post. i was going to try and make a carrd but it's... a lot! so, under the cut, i'll have some examples and prices and some info on what to expect! (LONG POST) (YE BE WARNED)
Rules! (and some general info)
because we need that
Don't haggle with me. I'm not selling you old furniture, you're paying me for my time and effort.
For smaller commissions, I require pay up-front
Larger commissions (over $30) can be paid half up-front, and half later. For both ours' insurance!
I can do cashapp, zelle, or paypal.
Time taken on each piece will vary, of course, and I can give you an estimate when we hash out details. I can provide updates as well! Don't be afraid to check in whenever! I won't feel rushed or hassled if you just want to know how progress is :)
If you have literally ANY questions. ANY OF THEM. at all. just message me. Even if you're not sure if you want to commission, or don't intend to at the moment. Have a curiosity? My dms are open, friend. And my ask box too, if you'd rather. I'm so open to questions it's unbelievable. I am almost begging you to ask... If you have something to ask.
YAY / NAY / MAY(or, what i will and won't do)
YAY!
Furries
Humans
Roblox avatars/characters
Fandom
Oc
Light/medium mech
Ships (including selfship)
Suggestive
(Artistic) nudity
Multiple characters
Whatever's not on my "no" list! Please please just message me and ask if you're unsure. Even if you're not sure about commissioning and just want to see if it would be possible! I won't bite, I promise. :)
NAY!
Nsfw
Fetish (even if not explicit)
Heavy mech
Heavy gore
Anything proship/comship/whatever the hell they're calling it. NO KID DIDDLING! OR INCEST!
Anything vivziepop related. I don't like her or anything that she makes.
Celebrities (actors in a role, sure, but just the guy? the plain dude? just some guy on our earth who works a job? a real person with a life? no.)
MAY! (or, things I'm on the fence abt)
Horror
Minor gore
Large scenes (not my strongest skillset)
Whatever! I'm okay with stepping outside of my artistic comfort zone, so long as you're okay with the result varying in quality (and possibly taking longer, depending on what you ask for) Again, and I CANNOT say this enough, JUST ASK ME!!
WHAT I HAVE TO OFFER!
Tumblr media
Okay, so, as shown here, for a standard commission i'll have 3 sizes, along with 4 stages of completion.
The stages are sketch, line art, flat colors, and render (shading/lighting)! sketch is the cheapest, and render is the most expensive. I'll list some prices for each size below :3
Head
Sketch - $5
Line art - $7
Colors - $10
Render - $15
Half
Sketch - $10
Line art - $15
Colors - $20
Render - $25
Full body
Sketch - $20
Line art - $25
Colors - $30
Render - $50
Add-ons!
Background (any commission automatically comes with a simple one, free, to be pictured in examples) - $15
Extra character - $7-$20 depending on what you're getting! just ask
COMPLEX object (like a weapon) (simpler ones r free) - $5-$10 (again, depending. just ask)
Anything that would take me more time and effort than usual, really. Time and effort is what you're paying for! I try to keep most of these pretty cheap, cus you're already paying for the drawing itself lol. Just ask if you're unsure.
Other kinds of stuff I'll do!
Icons! (or emojis, they're very similar)
These are basically just the head w/ colors, so $10 If you want an emoji set (or icon set, i guess?) it'll be +$5 for each additional one!
Reference sheets!
These are fun to make! They'll include 2/3 full-body shots of your character (front, side, and/or back), 1 head shot, flat colors, and some spaces for info! You can add in the info yourself, or have me add it in for you (no additional cost). They'll run you around $50 (however, you can add/take away stuff to change the price.)
Character page!
I will just. draw the character a bunch of times. $30 base price (sketch quality) can go up to $70 if you want them VERY spruced up (full render)
FINALLY. What we've all been waiting for... Examples!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
These are fullbodies! (with their categories and prices in alt) (First is a commission of one of my friends ocs, last one is moff, @/sneablebeable 's character!)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
these are rendered pieces w/ backgrounds! (though pokémon like these, I would consider chibi, making them a slightly lesser price.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Reference sheets! Highly customizable, these are 2 I did for art fight a lil while ago :)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
sketches! (with complex background, with extra character) For these, I can include basic values to help with composition, but usually done just cus i feel like it. (no extra charge if I do).
Tumblr media
Half body (in the style of a valentines card)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Icons!
Thanks for considering me! or... just checking this out! reading this far! whatever!

Are you taking any commissions? Can I see your price chart? I've been looking for someone with a good style to draw my salamander so I can make a... kinda complex pngtuber out of it. It's an interesting idea, but I literally... Something is blocking me from doing art and it is worse than "just" an artblock. It's so bad it made me just go from "why would I ever buy art if I'm at a point I can do it myself" to "ah, this is why". Amazing art and concepts btw <3
Tumblr media
my commissions are NOT open but this is my standard price sheet (as of right now). Prices for something more variable, like art made to be turned into a pngtuber may vary. I just have a couple currently outstanding comms to work on and I'm about to move across the country in a couple days. I will be opening another batch shortly after that before the holiday season as I gotta recover more expenses from this past month and also make rent lol. So keep an eye out!!

do you take commissions for your art? i stumbled on your stuff somewhat recently (i adore pepsi latios btw) and just wanted to know if you took comms and if so if you have prices listed anywhere. if you dont or its like special occasions only i fully understand. asking more for future interest rather than hoping to try and line anything up immediately.
Yep I always am its my job, just message me to inquire, here's my current commission sheet, prices will be raised a bit when I finally get around to making a new one but don't worry since you showed interest now I'm fine letting you use these prices even if you decide to get something after I change them. I dont usually have it posted publicly so I don't get swamped with a bunch of orders at once but my Tumblr doesn't have nearly as many followers so it should be fine.

Hello! I’m someone who’s planning to begin taking commissions in the future, and seeing as you have experience I’d like to ask; is there anything you feel new commissioners should know as they get started? Essentials with sheets/process that are easily missable, or just things you’ve learned in your time?
Sorry for the late reply! I think I could talk about the commission process in length and each step there, but I'll just share a few tips for now. For sheets first:
Function over form: Your commission sheet is not an art piece, it's an advertisement, and while pretty graphics can entice people it's important to not let your own art be cut off or drowned by it. This is especially true if you want to showcase fullbodies, character design and larger work, where the entire piece is important.
Tumblr media
If you can draw it, show it: Avoid having your examples all be the same subject if you're saying you can draw multiple things. I draw humans, furries/anthros and animals, so I tried to put one of each in my sheet. This also applies if you only draw a specific subject: Human artist? Show different races and body types and clothing. Furry? Show different species and body types (again) etc.
If you draw multiple things also, you may have less opportunity to expand on each area. If you think that's lacking, having an extra examples page will not hurt!
Organize yourself: I know this sounds obvious but please organize your commissions!! Especially if you're taking them on social media DMs (and if they're spread across multiple platforms). I personally recommend a trello, but it doesn't really matter as long as it works.
Tumblr media
Things I recommend writing down: The @ or name of the commissioner, where you're contacting (email, twitter, discord, etc.), the request and details of the comm & refsheets.
This will make it so easy to put down updates, the length of your queue, who to do next and grabbing your refs in one place!!
Terms of service: Have one, they're more for you than for your commissioner, as many never read an artist's TOS LOL.
You can check mine out, and you have my permission to just steal it for yourself. I detailed payment, refunds, process & edits and the rights & permissions. It doesn't have to be long, and it's better for it to not be long! But even if you think you don't care about your art to have them, you might find some use anyway.
I'm ending it here because this is getting long, but if you want anything more lmk! I could talk hours abt the commission process LMAO

Maya Pokesona Reference Sheet - Comm
Finished Commission for Mer_Maya on Twitter. She wanted a big reference sheet of her pokesona, and I was more than happy to make that happen! Celebi is easily one of my favorite mythical Pokemon, and I'm a sucker for Pokemon 4Ever, the movie. Loved getting to bring this gal to life, especially in both her normal form and her cool Milotic mermaid form! Hope you enjoy~! Want art like this monthly? Why not join? I figured I should show some quick comm/intro presentation cards, now that the bluebird app is having issues.
I meant to upload this yesterday, but for some reason Tumblr didn't let me.
Please share and reblog around as that helps me far more than just a like. If you're so kind, please recommend me to people.
Tumblr media
Sketch style is best suited for silly doodles, quick character studies, comic pages or even character design, which I've done plenty.
This style is quick and dirty, meant to be done rather fast, loose and experimental.
Tumblr media
Basic style ranges from outlining to flat coloring and shading, basically a step above sketch in quality, best suited for quick renders or when you're making an asset that does at least need a bit of color.
Tumblr media
All-Out means I do everything in my power to make the piece stand out, best suited for major graphical assets (such as stream layouts, live2D pieces, profile pictures and emoticons) or full on posters, thumbnails or character renders.
Tumblr media
A brand new style I've been practicing a lot lately, the pixel art tier includes tilesets, single sprites, animations or even whole sprite sheets (as I've done multiple Make a Good MegaMan Level costumes, if you want a reference there).
Making a sprite sheet can be time consuming, but the more is done, the easier and faster it is to put together as it gives me chance to iterate on previous sprites to make new ones.
On the subject of time: all work is timed with software and screenshotted as evidence of work is provided, the final price is decided upon a rounding of how many hours it takes to make the piece multiplied by the tier cost.
Ex: 1 hour to make an All Out Emote, would be 20, 30 minutes would be 10, 1 hour and 30 minutes would be 25.
On the subject of flexible payments: not all of it has to be paid on a single go, if the price is too high, a payment plan can be discussed and adjusted to the needs of the client. Once its paid in full, the piece is provided, if its multiple pieces in one go, the pieces are provided as they are paid.
Other notes:
- The initial pitch sketch is not timed, its on me until the idea is decided upon, at which point the timer begins.
- Error and corrections are also not timed, I'll do the fix ups without adding to the timer.
- Evidence of work will be provided periodically.
- The usual restrictions apply: no political, overtly violent or erotic content will be drawn.
- I'm down for drawing whatever otherwise (stream assets, personal drawings, attempting specific art styles, etc.) but I reserve the right to refuse a work for whatever reason I deem fit (for instance: modifying someone else's work without permission).
- Number of characters, backgrounds or size does not affect pricing, only the time it takes to make them.
- I'll strive to be as transparent and ethical as possible with the process. So bear with me there.

What's the difference between chibi one and chibi two if you dont mind me asking? I've seen the comms post but I can't tell the difference sorry
Style One is my personal take on chibis. They've got dot eyes, but the proportions are more regular/on model to the character.
Style Two is a more traditional chibi. They've got large round eyes, they're more simplified, and they have compact bodies.
Both options have the quintessential "large head little body" vibe, but Style Two is a peg or two more extreme.
Also, I know this isn't stated anywhere on my price sheet, but. My chibis are meant to be used as page dolls!! <:)
But more often than not it seems people use them as a cheaper alternative to full body art, and ask me to pose them in ways that do not make sense for the simplified and awkward anatomy that they have! I'm considering adding a stipulation to my prices that I cannot put more than one chibi on a canvas at a time 😅

Do you also avoid actually talking to people who have commissions open? Like its so hard for me to even like their posts cuz I think the only way they're gonna act towards people they don't already know is the "please buy my skills" type of professionalism. Where like they don't care about actually having a conversation more than they want the other person to commission them/want to improve their public image so more people will repost their things or commission them (at least on the blog where they advertise comms).
Essentially, it's hard to NOT feel like people who take comms only interact with others for getting more money and want to know if you feel like that too, as someone with comms open.
I don't really consider if an artist has comms open when I interact with them. In my mind I just go "yay cool art" and it doesn't even register. Of course I wouldn't consider going to them and asking for like a drawing request if they had comms open cos if I wanted them to draw me something the obvious route is to pay them (tho tbh I dont ask for drawing requests anyway). But apart from that whether an artist has comms open never really crosses my mind when I interact. As well, from my end, of course I'd love to have someone commission me, and if posting more and interacting more gets me some then great! But that is nowhere near my primary incentive for posting art. Apart from reposting my comms sheet, and maybe mentioning it if someone asks for an art request, I don't think about my commissions being open all that often when posting on tumblr. When someone interracts with my posts I dont go "Oo boy another person to potentially commission me". I think "Oo boy someone likes my art!" I'm running basically off the same mindset that I had when I didn't have commissions open. I love any and all engagement and it makes me happy to see others enjoy my art. Maybe my opinions will change once I actually get a commission (cos so far no one has actually commissioned me lol) but I doubt it, because my primary goal has never been to make money, it's been to share my art and to enjoy myself. Most the artists I'm friends with don't think this way either (at least I'm pretty sure they don't, if any of y'all wanna chime in in reblogs that'd be cool (this offer goes to artists who aren't my friends too if y'all see this, I wanna hear what everyone has to say)) and I'm pretty sure most the artists I follow don't think this way as well. Engagement is cool but its not a means to an end At the end of the day though, I can't actually speak for other artists, because as much as I wish, I'm not psychic. I can however say when I see people interact with my posts, and when I interact with other's posts, I don't think about commissions at all, its purely just an expression of liking someone's work to me. This was interesting to think about though, thanks for the ask! And please don't feel scared to interact with any artists who have commissions open! They're most likely just cool people who will love and appreciate any interaction!
