hang on i'm once again thinking about house being stupid with love. stacy moved in with him a week after meeting him. that's HUGE change. could you imagine how much he'd have to be obsessing over her to make HIS home THEIR home??? and he still wasn't over her 5+ years later after everything either.

(and like. i wonder if there was ever a moment there for wilson where he's watching house and stacy be so witty and beautiful and in love together and thinking to himself, huh. so this is what that feels like.)

Hmmm okay I guess I should talk a bit about my upload schedule:

So, I'm uploading things from Myosotis in chronological order (or atleast I'm trying to!!😂) and there's a surprising amount of Kiri & Eldrie in the desert chapter that I want to upload together with the list of alternative gay ships for Kiri and Eugeo (aswell as their list of potential OT3's!<3) But it's requires alot of effort to gather all info and I've actually discovered a few new gay ships for them in the meantime aswell so it's taking me awhile ahaha😂💦 (sorry please wait just a bit longer!💦)

After that, we can finally continue to chapter 2 where we have some really funny stuff with Eugeo and girls. They suspect that Kiri's gay and it's great. 😂 and then we can finally get to Dark King Eugeo and the butler yujikiri chapter~ I've got it drafted and some of it queued so stay tuned! <3

Though I also want to talk about Eugeo's Synthesis ritual scene at some point, because it was mentioned during the desert night blanket sharing scene. And also his death scene---because it bugs me whenever people say that it was just a platonic-coded death dsdfghjkl. But perhaps I'll save the latter one for another day because right now I mainly want to keep it Myosotis related. <3

What do I think of Myosotis? I liked it! Though I still feel like it could be better in few points. I'll be putting my thoughts under a read-more, They're not exactly spoilery thoughts but for those who want to keep everything strictly a surprise---it'll be hidden for your sake. <3

Myosotis story hot takes opinions (mild spoilers):

I've heard a few players complain about how "it's just a yujikiri fanfic" so it seems like it could make for a few general improvements.

Although I'd argue there isn't enough yujikiri (still not enough!?) and not enough Eugeo. I wanted to see more of his headspace and perhaps even his family. I wanted to see him talk about his synthesis ritual with Kiri more and I also want to see him get along with Eldrie and Bercouli. (Well he does have some moments with Bercouli but its mostly offscreen smh.)

I also wished we had Golgorosso in the chapter 2 fight tournament because he would've been PERFECT for it, and I am bummed that the Dark Eugeo segment was kinda short and didn't have much of a continuation. I really wanted to see the impact it had on Kirito in and out, and once again I really want to meet Eugeo's family lol. Even a flashback is OK.

Don't get me wrong, Myosotis DEFINITELY delivered us with good and huge amount of yujikiri food, but there's still alot of filler that could've been better left out. Albeit some of the fillers were really funny and brought a new aspect where we see Eugeo get along with the girls---I think it wouldve been better to cut or shorten them.

For instance, idk what the Tiese/Eu snow part brought to the story (no offense to the ship btw!) and I think some of EldrieKiri scenes dragged on for too long. (You don't have to show them shouting at a monster every single time, game -_-)

And I think the Ice King giant part was pretty weak and cliche and was too long aswell lol. I would've complained about some of the harem scenes but luckily most of them were pretty light (and even optional this time!) and Eugeo really did make them feel better! (the ones with Liz and Sillica are perhaps my favorite.😂)

But idk, some of the things could've been replaced with more focus on developing Eu & Kiri and giving them more backstory. I for one would've loved to see (or hear of) their childhood in Rulid, or something.

Perhaps one of the good sideplots however was seeing the Rulid trio pull off shenanigans and that they've FINALLY addressed Eugeo's love for Alice a bit in the butler chapter, and she actually showed a few likable aspects of her--one that isn't just "ooh I'm a knight blabla I'm possessive and don't know what feelings are" SDFGHJKKL 😂👌💦 (she suffers some of that in the desert chapter tho but luckily her interactions with EldKiri canceled it out <3👏)

But well, if there's still complaints coming from the community then I think it could be better and more impactful. I do hope the 2nd part of Myosotis can raise the stakes more, have better pacing, give us more insight on the characters & their bonds, and give us new character combinations and situations. 😤

Seriously, give us some Eugeo with Renly/Duesolbert/Eldrie I BEG!!!! And more with Bercouli too. >:T

PS: My favorite Myosotis scenes are the hugs in both the prologue & darkgeo chapter, the desert night blanket scene, and the Yujikiri conversation of bringing Eugeo to the real world and meeting Kiri’s male friends. That was SUCH a good addition lol, I lost my shit over that. <3
