Hey, so I just started reading little tid bits of The Book of Bill!

And-uh, why have no Fiddauthor fans pointed out that when Bill took Ford into the 'darkness' that the first person he named as a 'nobody cares about you' act of manipulation was Fiddleford, then his father. He then says he has no friends and "and if you died out here in the snow, who would miss you?" You know out in the snow where Fiddleford saved him from Krampus whilst Bill was nowhere to be found?

And apparently my little analysis of Bill maybe copying love languages based off of the fact he can do stuff to Ford's memory has more merit considering the fact that Bill sticks stickynotes onto Ford whilst we can see in the 'Sorry' photo that Fiddleford may have stuck stickynotes onto him as a gag when they first met :]

Bill really do be copying things Stanford finds charming, huh?

More than 80 percent of adults with ADHD in my practice report multiple awakenings until about 4 a.m. Then they fall into “the sleep of the dead,” from which they have extreme difficulty rousing themselves.

They sleep through two or three alarms, as well as the attempts of family members to get them out of bed. ADHD sleepers are commonly irritable, even combative, when roused before they are ready. Many of them say they are not fully alert until noon.

4. Intrusive Sleep with ADHD

Paul Wender, M.D., a 30-year veteran ADHD researcher, relates ADHD to interest-based performance. As long as persons with ADHD were interested in or challenged by what they were doing, they did not demonstrate symptoms of the disorder. (This phenomenon is called hyperfocus by some, and is often considered to be an ADHD pattern.) If, on the other hand, an individual with ADHD loses interest in an activity, his nervous system disengages, in search of something more interesting. We all have seen “theta wave intrusion,” in the student in the back of the classroom who suddenly crashes to the floor, having “fallen asleep.” This was probably someone with ADHD who was losing consciousness due to boredom rather than falling asleep. This syndrome is life-threatening if it occurs while driving, and it is often induced by long-distance driving on straight, monotonous roads. Often this condition is misdiagnosed as “EEG negative narcolepsy.” The extent of incidence of intrusive “sleep” is not known, because it occurs only under certain conditions that are hard to reproduce in a laboratory.

also, on the topic of arashi's character, it annoys me so much when people act like she never and could never do anything wrong. hi, hello, she has flaws too! arashi can be selfish, she's brash, she's impulsive, sometimes she's so focused on one thing that she completely forgets about the other things around her, and those make her a lovable and relatable character for some people.

it really pisses me off when enstarries just reduce arashi to just "yas trans queen she/her gaslight, gatekeep, girlboss slayyyy!!" and ignore all other aspects of her.

Someone who recently heard a 'fun fact' and did absolutely no follow up research: Did you know [company] invented [extremely common modern technology] decades ago, but didnt sell it because it would interfere with their business model? So much for capitalism encouraging innovation.

Reality: What they invented only resembled the modern version of the technology in the most superficial or technical sense. Does anyone realize that Fyodor, when he states that he is Fukuchi's disciple, means that he is going to continue y'know, the genocide of ability users? Because that's what he is, he's a manipulative genocidal war-starter. And it's the genocide of a minority! Ability users don't have protection. That's why the permit for organizations that we saw is so damn important. It gives the very sliver of protection that ability users can grasp at.

Something I find oh so interesting is how he's treating ability users like they're a new thing–

And Bram was right fucking there? Uhhmm, hello? And Fyodor himself is how fucking old? Like, apparently ability users have been around for a hot second, but for some reason they've been popping up more and more often. Which, fair. When there's a sliver of protection and accessibility offered, the minority tends to start becoming more vocal, it's how things go. He's got no right claiming anything right now about ability users when he's been the one who's been their own antagonist.

Now, all this to say, I did enjoy Fyodor as a villain. He did villainous things, like killing a child (Karma my boy, I will save you in my fics eventually), or manipulating Ace to off himself. BSD is about the grays of society, the people who don't fit into the "black and white" narrative. But Fyodor is honestly the blackest gray I've ever seen in this series so far. I don't know how Dame Agatha Christie will top him as a villain, should she succeed him as a villain.

But he's also so static right now. I'd enjoy it more if Dame Agatha Christie came around and fucked shit up, or Fitzgerald came back to being a villain. I loved Fitzgerald as a villain, he was so great.

Perhaps it's just a personal problem or ick, but–

Please stop saying that "Fyodor is right."

Let me say this with my fucking chest.

Murder isn't right. What Fyodor is doing isn't right. The thing about eradicating abilities because he wants to eradicate the suffering isn't right either, because we, humans, need at least a little bit of suffering, of irritation, to keep moving forward. If you're placid, you don't grow stronger, you grow weaker. Fyodor eradicating abilities could just create a new type of humans through this.

War isn't right either. If I'm completely honest? I think Fyodor is just simply bored and is fucking around.

TL;Dr: Fyodor isn't right because we need a little suffering to grow and I really want this arc to be over with already
