Oh, don't mind me, just thinking about how Elizabeth, this aloof, weird, eldritch creature that has decided to look like a human woman while she talks to us mortals, just abandoned her duties to her mysterious godlike master to search for a way to free her wild card, Makoto, from his duties of holding back the God of death.

How this clinically depressed teenager, literally destined to die at the end of his and Elizabeth's contract, wormed his way down to the closest approximation she had to a heart, and touched her so deeply, that she cannot allow his death to stand, and breaks every rule that bound her to search for a way to undo it. How she's still searching, even close to 20 years after his death. And how, despite all evidence to the contrary, one day, I genuinely believe that she'll find it.

Bandages are just so adorable on every character, but on Minori especially it actually makes so much sense. Since Minori's historically the three-leaf clover, the world's unluckiest girl, she would be clumsy and probably would have plenty of scrapes and bruises on her knees. Not to mention her ruthless idol practice, which likely does involve a lot of falling. But it also shows her tenacity and gusto! I just think that little detail is neat cuz it adds so much to her character.

ALSO it's given me the headcanon that Minori wears a bunch of bandages on her face, probably given to her by Momojan. She would look like a delinquent if not for the various cartoon/shoujo characters on them. Also her fans will flood the comments with wishes for her safety and enchantments against future mishaps that will never fail to make her explode with bashfulness and gratitude ♡

For legal reasons I no longer get high nor do I know anyone who does nor have I ever even looked at drugs. But when I did get high regularly potheads were always the most annoying about it bc they'd always try to traditional medicine guru you into being a blunt cunt only on account of it's so healthy and can cure all ills and whatever. Cokeheads were always down to clown and the most generous with whatever they had you'd be like hey what you got and they'd whip a spoon out of their cleavage right then and there. The first time I ever did coke it was bc I just asked what they were doing and they were like oh here try some! Methheads were incredibly chill about it ironically unless they thought you were a ci (they literally thought everyone was a ci) in which case they were less chill but still desperate to sell so it became a weird who's on first bit. Shrooms were the wild card bc they could make u a weird tasting pb&j or they could try to indoctrinate u into their sex cult it could go either way. This is based on experiences in rural towns btw I only ever did club drugs in big cities (and weed but that's barely a drug on account of the gurus) and with club drugs it was never even a question (except for coke) with e and molly and such it was just like oh here's a pill I got from that guy in leather chaps bottoms up bitch

don't know if this will be useful to anyone else, but i thought i'd share it on here just in case--i made a google drive folder of what i believe is all a3! event CGs starting from special edition: dollhouse (october 2022), up to postman delivering thoughts (august 2024). the reason it starts at that specific point is because that's where yaycupcake's CG album ends, and originally i just wanted to know who was featured in each one so i could list them in my personal event spreadsheet but then i figured i have to find all these CGs to get that info in the first place, so i might as well keep them saved somewhere! especially since i ended up having to search several different places for them, which is why the sizing and quality of them is inconsistent. a lot of the CGs from this year's events were sent to me by @fea-therlight221, so shoutout to them for their help!! i'd also like to keep updating this with future event CGs as i find them.

we went over the 14yr long torture session in my last therapy visit actually, and i told her that toward the end i was fantasizing about and then actively considering walking into traffic because if i got catastrophically injured then they would have to treat my pain. and she told me that's not an uncommon thing for people to do. that she has heard that many times before.

like think about that. we are so moralistic about drug use and have politicized a particular type of medicine so much, and doctors are so uncompassionate toward and even suspicious of patients who are in pain because of it, that it's NOT UNCOMMON for people who are otherwise not suicidal to start completely genuinely longing to get hit by a fucking car just for the chance to be oh so graciously provided the absolute bare fucking minimum of care.

think about how many different things have pain as a symptom. how many things have pain as the only symptom the patient is aware of. how many of them are life or death crises. heart attacks. blood clots. strokes. bleeding ulcers. those are just what i can think of off the top of my fucking head, AND I'M NOT A FUCKING DOCTOR.

what i had, for example, feels exactly like appendicitis. and they left it for fourteen years because my only symptom was excruciating pain and i didn't fit their stupid little (completely unsupported by evidence, btw) diagnostic mnemonic. if it had been appendicitis, or anything else as immediately deadly that "just" hurts, i would have fucking died the same night i got sent home from the emergency room with "medical" "advice" to take some tylenol and rest - for the first time, that is. out of dozens. how many people do die that way?

because addicts are Bad. and because doctors are too arrogant and biased to practice medicine on the basis of evidence and informed consent when the profit model and conservative propaganda make it soooo easy to stay in the good old days of paternalism instead.
