it is truly impressive how fast 911 has imploded. a few weeks ago I was staying up until 3 in the morning to watch the new 911 ep on hulu when I missed it live, and now it's been like 4 days and I still havent gotten up the energy to watch ep 8 yet. truly, no one is doing it like them

I was not intending to watch Ahsoka, at least not right away because 1) I think getting more selective about star wars and not chasing after completionism is a net positive for my experience, it's cool if I want to wait for reviews/spoilers before watching something, 2) I have a complicated relationship with the two major animated shows, as you all know, if you define 'complicated relationship' as 'I really, really don't want to watch them' so I figured I'd be confused but apparently even Rebels fans are confused so that's one excuse gone XD

There are plenty of shows I don't watch because I'm just not interested. But on the other hand, there are also a lot of shows I don't watch because I know I'd get way too into them, and I just don't have the time

Big Trigun (1998) fan here! I noticed you pretty exclusively draw Vash in his Stampede design, and that got me wondering what drew you to the anime in the first place and what you like (or don't like) about it. I've been meaning to check it out but in truth I've been procrastinating because of how different it looks/seems. I'd be lying if I said your art hasn't had an impact on me finally watching it. Turns out seeing a character fat is very persuasive!

Haha! Well, to be honest, I've not seen anything before Stampede! So i'm honestly not sure how it may be different from the original. Caveat here is that im a visual snob, I will admit. I have a hard time watching things if they're not pretty, and I will watch things with substandard plots/characters if the visuals are nice lmao So I guess, what drew me in was how gorgeous the animation is! One thing I saw looking into it after the fact is that Stampede doesn't do any of the mystery/plot twist stuff that happened in the original and approaches it more straightforwardly (since from what i saw, the primary audience is people who already know the plot twists for the most part)

the fight scenes, fluid motion, visuals... all of it is gorgeous! Vash's english VA also does. The most. it's great

Wanted to do a big pretty artwork for the Hilda finale, but I'm sick and have no ideas and motivation. So here's something simple.

I started watching the series back in late 2021, right after the movie was announced. (Which was just my excuse to watch it.)

It was surprisingly good. I was grinding a Royale High event through the entire thing and I still enjoyed it a lot. I think I watched one half of the movie before midnight on new years eve and finished it after. I went out of my way to avoid my family to watch it. I was so hyped, and it was so great. Probably still my favorite movie to this day. I've had two phases where I watched the movie for 5 days straight and never got bored, and I still rewatch it regularly. I LOVE HILDA AND THE MOUNTAIN KING ‼🗣🔥💯

The series itself means a lot to me. I watched it in a difficult time in my life. (It's gotten worse 😊) It was so nice and calm. There weren't even any references to the real world and no fourth wall breaking. It was so nice for me to escape into that little world without any reminders of my own big and scary world, and it still is.

Hilda will always hold such a special place in my heart. I think season 3 was great, and the last episode was awesome.

Also, what do you mean it's been 2 years? Has it really? You sure? Are you for real????

I wanna go back to december 2021 I was so much happier than I am now 😭😭

Thanks to Luke Pearson and his gang for bringing this series to life and giving it a wonderful ending, I will never forget it! Def gonna watch it with my future children. (My reptile collection)

it's kind of weird to me that they didn't bother releasing sushi and tempura internationally at all but at the same time i'm kinda glad they didn't cuz like. yo-kai watch was financially failing in the west by the time 3 released. i feel like if they had released sushi and tempura the franchise would've completely tanked before we got sukiyaki which would've sucked. honestly if anything i feel like it's more surprising that we got all three versions of 2 instead of them just releasing psychic specters but tbf i think yo-kai watch was doing well in the west when 2 released. 2 is just inexplicably what killed the franchise despite being a masterpiece-

seeing good reviews for the recent count of monte cristo adaptation and getting frustrated because i KNOW i'd enjoy it if i wasn't very, very attached to the source material. but i am very attached to the source material! i've read the book four times in the past three years! which isn't that much but also it is a really long book. so unfortunately i can never watch this movie even though it would otherwise be right up my alley.

I really like the idea of watching shorter "miniseries esque" anime (around 12 episodes is ideal but no more than like 20 is the basic idea) between new Go Rush episodes since they seem easy to watch and I had so much fun with I'm in Love with the Villainess.

Sweet Reincarnation and Bocchi the Rock are both on my radar but what other short anime series are out there? I would prefer something with a dub but I'm open to suggestions.
