i’ve obv changed a little bit and definitely have COMPLETELY different interests this year,,,, like if my last year self saw me now they would be like ‘wtf is dream smp oh my god you got into minecraft again didn’t you i thought i had finally moved past this phase when i was 9 YEARS OLD WHAT ARE YOU DOING PUT DOWN THE PEN STOP MAKING MINECRAFT FANAR--”

also i think i’ve gotten a bit better grasp on my sexuality/gender?? (that's explained more in the next question) and i feel like my art has DARASTICALLY improved like look at my last year art look at it i didn’t even know how to make .png files if i saw my current art style last year i would CRY OF JOY 

but my artistic eye has rlly developed since then tho and even though if i could draw as well as i could this year last year i would be over the moon now i just,,,, i see things i really want to change?? and my inspiration artists are so much beTTER THEN mE?? how do i be as good as thEM??? MY ART BELONGS IN TR ASH??

i was rlly anxious this year about my writing bc i haven’t been doing it as often and i feel like i SHOULD bc art is just a hobby and my main aspiration is writing and literally i feel like i haven’t improved at all since last year literally i looked at a piece i wrote last year and i haven’t improved at all,,, i feel like in general my stories have gotten better but not my general writing abilities?? like,,, last year i had this one story i planned to write that i really liked but i’ve basically scrapped it now and i have like 3 different stories i have going that im in love with but haven’t touched in weeks bc i’ve been so distrACTED

my self-image has also become a little,,, less?? this year?? i think??? idk if its just been the general mood of this year bc it sucked for everybody but im definitely not as excited and confident as i was last year

i mean i was questioning last year and im still questioning this year but,,, i’ve kinda thought about it more?? last year i was like completely clueless but i think now i have a vague sense of direction?? somewhat??

ive only had one crush ever when i was in kindergarten and that's not a lot of information to go off but it was a boy so i know i like boys,,, but also at the same time?? i could imagine liking a girl?? but I've never actually had any romantic feelings towards a girl yet so im not going to officially label myself bisexual or pansexual or anything so im sticking to questioning until i've had more romantic experience bUT that’s still something

i’ve also thought about my gender a lil bit?? it’s not something i’ve been super concerned with up until now but idk i haven’t been,,, feeling good abt it?? bc im growing up and my body is getting more “feminine” and it’s been making me uncomfortable??? like not to the point where i absolutely despise my body but like,,, a vague sense of uncomfortableness whenever i look at myself without like 4565492834589 sweaters blocking the shape of my body LOL

like,,, i could imagine being a boy and sometimes i want to be a boy but at the same time,,, there’s some things i rlly like abt being a girl that i wouldn’t want to get rid of entirely?? is there a sexuality for being both a boy and girl???????? idk,,, i’ve been debating if im gender fluid, since sometimes i would prefer if i was a boy and other times i like being a girl,,, but i haven’t done enough research into it so im sticking to she/her pronouns for now, plus this is all kinda vague speculation

 so basically nothing’s changed with my gender/sexuality other then i’ve thought abt it more and have more of a vague concept of it

24. who has made the biggest impact in your life this year?

i feel like there hasn't rlly been a single person in particular who has affected my life this year? this year has definitely not been my best (probably one of my worst actually) not just bc of the pandemic but idk i felt like i was drifting away from my friends but couldn’t muster up the courage to do anything abt it??? but nearing the end of the year things have been getting somewhat better with that

i got tumblr this year and managed to become more active with some friends who i felt like i was loosing touch with (like luvu and dan!) and that definitely had a positive impact!! but i feel like if anything shows/fandoms/fictional universes made more impact on me this year then anything?? idk whenever i’m stressed i usually fallback on fictional media bc i love consuming storytelling content,,,, i probably focus more on other’s fictional worlds then my own LMAO 

my interests have shifted a lot this year but i feel like my comfort fictional characters and current favorite shows rlly helped me get through this year!

namely a few fandoms that have really made an impact were sander sides, dream smp, the owl house, etc..! i RLLY got into sander sides near the beginning of the year and rn near the end of the year im RLLY into dream smp (as you can tell) but even if i don’t post as obsessively about one fandom doesn’t mean i still don’t love it and it made a significant impact on my life!! i feel like every fictional universe i’ve been into has affected me just as a whole in some way and i’ve definitely subconsciously weaven aspects of them into my own stories! not to mention i’ve been rlly getting into some of my friend’s fictional universes lately and i have been DYING over them and they’re so underrated and inspire me so much!! namely the 4 queens story  (@luvuwite‘s), a NUMBER of @raventherobot‘s stories (im simp for vin’s story and also kayne and also EVERYBODYAJKSJKSJKADJK) and also i love @hypnoticcdan‘s oc viper and i dont know a lot about their story yet but i am LEARNING also horizon is baby we stan,,,,

I am going to speculate the entire plot of infinity war with all the set pics and rumours we have heard so far. Please feel free to add in missing points. This is what I think is gonna happen:

Both Stephen strange and vision have been attacked by some kind of alien intruders. This can be seen from the set pics and footage of vision being whisked off by cgi ninja-like creatures. The same ninja aliens can be seen in the recent set pics of Stephen strange as well. I suspect that these ninja aliens are Thanos' black order, whom he has sent from the cosmos to collect the infinity stones for him ONCE AND FOR ALL. The only thing Stephen and vision have in common is that they both possess the powers of an infinity stone, thus the black order is seen attacking them for their stones in these shots. Before vision is kidnapped, wanda maximoff was sighted with him, so when someone reportedly heard Wanda scream of "NO! LET HIM GO!" on the set, so we can assume that the black order must have succeeded in apprehending vision and collecting the mind stone. It's not confirmed yet, but judging by the way doctor strange is clutching his amulet of agamotto, I can only speculate that the black order must have succeeded in retrieving the time stone as well. Tony stark and Bruce banner seem evidently unscathed, thus I suspect they only arrived after the invasion occurred and are simply analysing the remains of the ordeal along with their new-found sorcerer allies. And then we have our friends in wakanda. So far natasha, tchalla and Steve have been confirmed to be in wakanda, and I highly doubt bucky has moved very far from his miserable refrigerator, so he's probably still in the country as well. God only knows how the fuck natasha managed to end up in wakanda (I mean, as the most hidden and advanced city in the world, I don't think even natasha could track it down with her killer spy skillset), im guessing someone went to find her instead (HOPING ITS BUCKY BC I MEAN ITS NATASHA ROMANOFF WE'RE TALKING ABT, AND SINCE BUCKY TRAINED HER, HES THE ONLY ONE WITH SHARED LIFE EXPERIENCE AND KNOWS HOW SHE WORKS). Scarlett Johansson was spotted filming near where vision was taken, so I have a feeling natasha (and maybe Steve?) would have heard about the invasion and brought poor devastated Wanda back to wakanda. Then there would be discussions and stuff about the aliens and why they attacked and who they were serving, so as of now, they don't know who Thanos is yet. Then come the cosmic heroes. Something on wakanda's radar picks up an unidentified flying object landing the borders of the city. Tchalla and Steve and everyone think it's the aliens again, but its actually the guardians of the galaxy. (Here we presume that there will be flashbacks or sth where we somehow get to see how the following happens) they heard that orb has been forcefully stolen from the Nova core and the reality stone was taken from the collector, who is most likely killed in the process. Gamora thinks that Thanos is behind this and is one of the few ppl in the galaxy who knows about the infinity gauntlet. They decide to go to earth to check on the rest of the infinity stones after they hear that two of which are there. They coincidentally land near to wakanda (cue emotional, nostalgic Peter Quill finally back on earth), and thats how steve, tchalla and friends found them. Both teams agree to join forces after gamora confirms her theory about the infinity gauntlet. She's also very concerned about her sister nebula, who was last seen vowing to kill Thanos by herself. Tony Stark, on the other hand, has also figured out as much as the fact that someone out in space wants all the infinity stones. Back to earth come Thor and Loki, another two individuals who are very well aware of Thanos' schemes (especially Loki). Thor finds Tony's side first (he would want to warn Steve as well, but wakanda, as I've said, is impossible to track) and warns him about the impending danger, and admits that the tesseract was also stolen from Asgard by the black order. He also mentions the missing reality stone and the collector's death, since lady sif was the one who put it there for safekeeping in the first place. In wakanda right now we have Steve, tchalla, nat, Wanda, gotg and bucky if he's awake. If he isn't yet, now is the time for him to wake up, because Steve realises the impending threat that is coming and decides that they need all the help they can get. He brings back the old team cap, Sam, Sharon, Scott, Clint, and wakes bucky up, (THUS THE BEARD?!? BC ITS BEEN LIKE TWO YEARS IDEK) but the gotg insist that they need to get Tony back. Steve is slightly hesitant (bc of civil war) but agrees to try and negotiate with Tony (cue nervous, guilty bucky). Tony's side is getting very anxious bc they lack manpower. Tony rung up his old team as well but since vision and tchalla are gone there's a huge shortage of fighters. There's literally just Tony, Rhodey, Peter Parker (I'm going to assume he proved himself worthy of handling lethal threats after Spiderman: homecoming) Bruce, Thor, and Loki. Then Steve calls Tony and both are surprised they know as much about the black order attacks as the other. They eventually agree to fight together one last time, but only for the sake of all the innocent lives in the galaxy. And thats the end of my crappy plot speculation. We don't have confirmation on where the soul stone is yet, although a lot of ppl think it's with heimdall, its not confirmed. So I can't talk about that part yet. Once again, feel free to add lil details you wanna see in the movie, like lil bits of dialogue or maybe rocket requesting for Bucky's arm to complete a plan (OK but what if it's legit tho like what if he really needed an arm for the plan, and innocent child Bucky just goes "no, you cant have this one, but I do have an old spare one from my winter soldier days. Will that work?"). But yeah also go ahead and play around with this plot, butcher it, write a fanfic to it, tweak it, add stuff, take out stuff, kill off more ppl, develop more ideas from it etc. I don't think the movie might be this way but that's okAY bc I have higher expectations for it lmao I'm gonna die

no. just because i think the people you need and who you want to be and be with will change as you grow.

i don’t think so?? i’m so inexperienced w matters of the heart that i’m afraid that maybe i just won’t know what is when my heart breaks. i’ve definitely been hurt over some ex-maybes, though. 

45.Your thoughts of long distance relationships?

they work if you are 100% committed and make space for each other. and if you actually see each other regularly. (my now married sister is proof it can work)

two or three?? (lyra, andromeda and orion are the dream names. i have now claimed them btw :)))

this is funny bc its like the person who made this knows where 2 stab me. 

yes. extremely. it hurts. and has caused issues more than once. probs why i have no love life.

Got tagged by @96percentdone to post 11 facts of myself, thank you!! I’m not a really interesting person though so these are probs gonna be really mundane :’’D

1) I absolutely despise bananas. Like, there are other foods I don’t like, but that I will eat if like, a friend’s mom or my grandma is offering it to me and I’d feel awkward refusing. But bananas. I wouldn’t eat those no matter who offered, just, no. I’ll also go out my way to always check if there’s bananas inside cakes (bc that’s a thing that people here do much to my dismay) just cuz ugh. Haven’t eaten in years but last time I did I threw up so...

2) In return I love pasta and chicken nuggets a lot. Also tbh any food with onions or cheese in it, I love both a lot. 

3) I have a little brother 5 years younger than me. Basically he’s my half brother, since my biological dad left my mom when she was pregnant and started dating my current dad but, you know, he’s been my dad my whole life so I don’t really consider him my stepdad or my brother half. 

4) I love foxes. This comes as news to everyone. I also love dogs a lot. That’s probably not a surprise either. I used to like horses a lot but these days I’m pretty indifferent abt them. I like animals in general tbh.

5) My aunt has the exact same birthday as me (25.5). And that’s not all: her aunt has the exact same birthday as well. Now my lil brother just gotta have a kid born that day too so they can say that their uncle and his aunt and her aunt have the same birthday as them.

6) I’ve been drawing far, far more and longer than I’ve been writing, yet I’m still better at writing than drawing... 

7) My fave number is 27, and my lucky number is 5 (I mean I was born on 25.05.-95 and also my password for school computer in elementary school was 250595J5, so back then I thought it was fate lol)

8) I also love plants and flowers. I wish I have more of them but I don’t have much space plus I don’t know much abt caring for them

9) It bothers me when people walk on my left side. I don’t really know the reason why though. It also changes with different people, like with some it doesn’t bother me as much and with some I just have to change sides bc it bothers me so much.

10) I hate going downhill with any vehicle, like with bike or in a car. In return I do like going uphill though. Going downhill just makes me rly anxious and feel unsafe, while going uphill I feel more in control and not at the mercy of physics

11) I’m good at card games. I’m not that good in games that require quick thinking or even more, quick reactions like shooting games (although I have p quick reflexes irl). Anything where I can take my time to think I’m pretty good at, like strategy or mystery games. And esp card games, bc I’ve been playing them with my relatives since I was a lil kiddo (and they never went easy on me, everyone played to win) so I’m pretty quick at catching on what to do, esp one-on-one games.

The Character I See You As: Joe Toye! I love this kid so much. I’ve read a lot about him, about how he could be super serious and dry-humored and even scary sometimes, but how he also was very protective of his boys and the replacements. I feel like someone wrote in a book that one of the guys was being threatened and Toye literally picked up the dude doing the threatening and was like “never do that again” and juST SET HIM BACK DOWN and made sure the other guy was ok. Also, again, someone talked about how he was insecure about how he never graduated high school because he knew he was smart, but he was limited by his lack of education and HNNG JOE TOYE. SO PURE.

Your Three Best Friends: Bull Randleman, Carwood Lipton, Bill Guarnere

The One You Don’t Get Along With: Sobel. I avoided putting him as anyone’s just because it’s way too easy, but honestly I feel like he (and Dike) represent a real issue for INFJs–authority they can’t respect. And it’s not that you won’t respect them anyway, but rather it’s the helplessness of knowing that for duty’s sake you must respect them, but also knowing they’re a fucking idiot and you could do better given the chance. Like honestly it’s the worst of the worst and especially difficult for INFJs, who end up feeling strained and frustrated and bogged down by ineffective direction like Sobel, etc.

Who I Ship You With: Carwood Lipton! Gentle, patient, sweet, super smart, good under pressure, I literally almost can’t think of anyone better. Like fire and ice, tbh. Lip would be there while you rant about something, whether it be about justice, your anxiety, someone annoying you, etc. He’s the gentle voice of reason, trying to steer you in the right direction while also listening to you complain about what you need to in order to move on.

The Character I See You As: Bob Leckie/Hoosier Smith! ARE YOU LECKIE? ARE YOU HOOSIER? Journalism, idealistic but realistic, adventurous, serious, but super dry sense of humor. Anxious but still does what’s right even tho he’s internally screaming 24/7?? This is Leckie and Hoosier at the same time I feel like. This is also you I SWEAR. I mean I think in the show Leckie might get a little dramatic compared to you (though who am I to say?), whereas Hoosier has the overall salt but the COMPOSURE. But of course Leckie has the balanceof the idealism/realism and the love of journalism and adventure (whereas Hoosier just wants to sleep tbh and be left alone).

Your Three Best Friends: R.V. Burgin, Eugene Sledge, Ack-Ack Haldane

The One You Don’t Get Along With: EVERYONE. Just kidding. Just people who STEAL YOUR SHIT (looking at u larkin god). Disingenuous people, I know that goes without saying (you even said that), but yeah. Maybe Snafu since he’s a little off his rocker and almost nothing like you. 

Who I Ship You With: Chuckler Jeurgens. If this ain’t the realest….- Chuckler and Leckie are like mom and dad. So it would basically be the same for you two. Chuckler has a good sense of humor, is incredibly patient with everyone (despite the circumstances), always finds a reason to smile and goof around and boost morale. Whenever you’re anxious or despairing, all you have to do is crawl over to his bunk and lean your head against his bed and he’ll talk you out of it, talk to you about real world stuff, debate with you, anything to get your mind off things. He’s so pure….. I JUST.

Lil Blurb: You woke up in the aid station after Peleliu in a fit of sweat, cursing up a storm at the sudden chill. You realized you’d thrown off your blanket and sheets in the nightmare you assume you must have been having and reluctantly crawl out of bed, groaning as pain shoots up your spine like lightning. A mortar hit right behind you, sending you flying to the ground. That was one of the last things you vividly could recall before that that very moment, struggling to drag your blankets back into bed with you. Without another thought you crawl back into the cot, rolling onto your stomach, lulled into slumber once again.

The next time you’re awoken, the nurse is telling you that you’re being transferred to go home. You don’t know how long or how hard you’ve been sleeping. You’re groggy, muttering a few obscenities under your breath as you’re forced to change, gather your things, and join a host of other injured men (and a few women like yourself) to be sent back to the states. Your intestines seemed to twist at the thought, leaving behind the other marines. You felt almost guilty, wringing your hands. Hoosier, Leckie, Runner, and finally Chuckler. You were the last to fall. You had no idea where they were, where anyone was. You just knew you were alive.

You were transferred to San Diego hospital. It was the nicest facility you’d been in in probably a year, but that wasn’t reassuring. The white walls. The pristine decor–none of it felt right. It was all uncomfortable, oddly surreal after what you’d been through. You didn’t want to take it in. You just wanted to sleep until the wounds on your back turned into scars. The place in your shoulder where you were shot? That too. You’d almost forgotten about that, but it had happened so long ago, on Guadalcanal. 

After getting out of the wheelchair and stubbornly hobbling toward the woman’s ward (much to the nurse’s horror), a familiar voice called out to you from behind.

“Y/N?”

You stopped, shaking the grogginess from your head. You felt like you hadn’t escaped that feeling, the out-of-body, surreal feeling until that voice hit you like a brick wall, yanking you back into battle, into the memories suppressed.

“Lew?” You spin around on your heels. He’s still all height, hunched over slightly in pain; he couldn’t have been up long. Chuckler is one big crooked grin too big for him, ears too big for him, feet too big for him. He was barefoot, ridiculous as it was. You found him completely endearing. Two long weeks apart and all you wanted to do was throw yourself into his arms. He had done right by you, taken care of you, sacrificed for you.

“Holy shit, Y/N, I thought you were still in the Pacific.” Incredulous, he started forward, stretching out his hands to drag you into his chest. You didn’t resist (despite your aversion to public displays of affection), but leaned forward, burying your face into his hospital gown, gripping the fabric in your fists. 

“Jesus, fuck, Lew–Chuckler, I thought you were dead, god. No one told me anything.” You didn’t know whether to laugh or to cry, so you did both, finally releasing the gown and wrapping your arms around his waist. His nose was in your hair, eyes closed, waiting until he was sure you were done talking before he responded.

“Hey, hey now, we’re all good. Leckie and Hoosier too, we’re all fine, it’s all fine,” he soothed, dragging his fingers across your back. “Wanna go see them?”

You sniff, cursing yourself for crying on his shoulder. You left stains. Jesus, Hoosier would take one look and know for sure. You would catch hell for that. Wiping your nose and looking back at the nurse, who appeared disapproving (moved, but disapproving), you nodded your head. “Hell yeah, I need to yell at the two of them for leaving before I could say bye.”

Chuckler reached down pressed his hand into the small of your back, pushing you forward in the right direction. “C’mon then, Y/N, you have a lot of yelling to do.”

“Damn right, Chuckler.”
