“ come on alhaitham! it can’t hurt to try dating someone… ” kaveh tried to reason with him— claiming that he’d been single long enough and needed a relationship. ( also he is very attractive, and has chicks swarming all around him… you’d think he’d make the effort to start something with one of them… but! guess not! )

“ kaveh, i said no. i’m in no need of a reltionship— plus all these.. girls. ” he hesitated— thinking of a proper way to describe them.

“ their annoying, and clearly don’t care much for their studies.. i need a partner who actually has a brain. ” alhaitham said sourly.

“ ugh… ” kaveh pouted, “ brains aren’t everything, you know? if i were you i would’ve got a girlfriend already!! ”

“ i hope one day these girls realize you’ve got no personality and are rude and— and well, you know!”

“then they’ll realize what a true man is… ” he grinned. “ aka, me. ”

“ brains aren’t everything? i disagree… a persons brain is—”

“ shush! i don’t need one of your lectures about how blah blah means blah blah. ” kaveh scoffed, frowning once more.

“ one day you’re going to end up dating a no brainer, just because their pretty. ” alhaitham murmured, closing his book and leaning his head back on his seat.

“ and you’re gonna end up dating no one. ” kaveh snapped back.

“ fine by me. ” alhaitham said stoically, but to be honest… he did want to love someone eventually, but he wouldn’t admit that to kaveh.

“ you know what? if you can’t find anyone you like here at our uni… why not get a dating app! there’s plenty of smart people on those! ” kaveh exclaimed excitedly, desperate to get his “lonely” roommate a partner.

“ and get catfished? no thank you. ” alhaitham declined quickly… but seriously, a dating app might be a good idea— maybe he could meet someone at his intellectual level.. not some dumbass like all the girls here.

“ not everyone on dating apps are catfishers, come on! please try one! and i’ll pay you a visit to the library…!! ” kaveh pleaded. “ you don’t even have to date… you can just make a friend! ”

friend….? well he certainly needed more of those— as well as new books.

“ a visit to the bookstore, not library, and you have a deal. ” alhaitham tilted his head up at kaveh.

“ ugh… fine. just don’t buy too many books! or else i’ll never be able to afford supplies for my project. ”

alhaitham hummed. “ alright, i’ll limit myself to… eh, three books. ”

from the most expensive section too…

“ three?! come on make it at least two… ” kaveh pouted. “ you always get the most expensive books, so two! ”

alhaitham sighed, “ fine, two books, and i’ll try that stupid dating app. ”

“ bet! ” kaveh gleamed, picking up alhaitham’s phone which made alhaitham jolt up a bit.

“ hey what are you— ” kaveh shushed him.

“ getting you the app, obviously!! ” kaveh chuckled, flashing the phone over to alhaitham’s face for face-id.

poor alhaitham couldn’t even snatch it back.

kaveh was typing away on alhaithams phone ( without alhaitham’s consent too! how rude! )

“ here! now you can set up your profile. ” kaveh handed alhaitham back the phone.

“ okay, okay. ” alhaitham muttered, sounding unhappy… but in reality he was a little bit excited.

“ kaveh. why do you even want me to date someone….? ”

“ because haitham, your 23 and haven’t even gotten a peck on the lips— and your like, i dunno, attractive? i have no idea i just wanna help you live a little… ”

alhaitham blinked at his friend a couple of times… live a little? he was already living his life the best he could.

well actually, that was debatable.

“ yeah, okay. ” alhaitham clicked on the profile… he needed a profile picture and bio..

“ use the photo from the festival! you know, the one with the glasses and you actually smiling! ” kaveh suggested.

“ that one…? okay. ” alhaitham scrolled through his gallery, which was mostly just photos of kaveh making faces, books, and some things he found appealing (aesthetic sunsets, and photos of trees and plants).

“ what about for my bio? ” alhaitham asked kaveh, who seemed to already be conducting something “good”.

“ say your name, age, mbti, zodiac, and major! and whatever else you think is important for your soulmate to know. ” kaveh nodded proudly.

“ soulmate? you make me laugh. there’s no such things as soulmates. ” alhaitham scoffed. “ people fall in love and that’s it, there’s no mystical soulmate thing behind it— think realistically kaveh. ”

“ i am thinking realistically! ” kaveh snapped back, brows furrowing. “ your so ungrateful. ”

“ and my zodiac? the fuck does that have to do with anything? ” alhaitham raised a eyebrow, but typed it down anyways.

“ i thought you believed in astrology! ”

kaveh sighed, trying to calm himself down— screaming wasn’t going to help him. he couldn’t get a another sore throat from alhaitham.

“ whatever, just put anything down at this point…”

“ i should write down ‘ lover has to be smart ’… ” alhaitham said with the faintest smile.

kaveh gave him a look.

“ it’s a joke dumb ass. ” or was it?

( 2 days later ) it was about 1:24 a.m— and for some reason alhaitham was awake watching tiktok.

i mean he couldn’t sleep because of kaveh’s loud snoring.. and he has finished his books— and didn’t exactly want to binge on his new ones all in one night.

and that’s when he got it— a silly little notification.

‘ you matched with… [ name ], [ last name ] ! congratulations!! ’

“ the fuck… ” alhaitham squinted, clicking on the notification to be brought to your profile.

he examined it for a moment, you took the same major as him and were fairly… pretty.

he stared at it for a moment longer before receiving another notification.

‘ [ name ], [ last name ] would like to chat with you! ’

of course, he quickly clicked the approve button.

My plans under the cut

Ok so 1, definitely slowing down on asks if you couldn’t already tell lol. I’m doing a bunch of college classes rn for my associates and next semester is looking very busy🧎‍♀️. Unfortunately I’m not getting many vigilante ones as I would like either so I’m not feeling as motivated for asks in general rn. I’m not gonna stop answering them tho‼️Asks are always open because I always love getting them, no matter what there about! But please expect I may take a long while to get to urs🙏

Alr 2, I wanna get back to writing/making the comic. Look at this point idc if most of my followers are here for md stuff or otherwise I do what I want bitches‼️ The unfollow button is right there. I’m pretty sure I only need around three more pages to finally finish the prelude and then start working on the actual chapters. I’m excited for this genuinely and I hope you all will enjoy it as well as me!

finally 3 erm I really wanna open commissions later this year. I would love to start doing art for you guys and I feel it would be really fun to! Unfortunately taxes are a thing so that’s the difficulty of it😔. I would really like to have them open in the summer or early autumn but no promises </3. My plan is to have three slots open and work on from there. So if anyone’s interested, look out for that!

I lied this is the last one- 4: make a carrd. I HAVE A WIP BUT ITS BEEN TAKING A WHILE. tethered playlist breakdown - ch 1: chemtrails

hi hi hi! thank-you to everyone who has read, commented, left kudos, and bookmarked tethered so far (and if this is the first you're hearing of it, here's my critical role / bell's hells / imodna music au)! this beautiful, musical lil world has been knocking around in my head for a little over 6 months and i'm so excited to share it with other people 💗

so as I said on ao3, to create the Full Experience of this au the way i've been stewing in it over the past 6-odd months, i wanted to also pop chapter tie-in posts on here that give a more detailed breakdown of the music in each chapter, mainly bc I'm not someone who writes songfics rly and I don't like breaking up the flow of the fic + the suspension of disbelief with lyrics etc, so: we're gonna do it this way.

(again, if this is the first you're hearing of this au and it has piqued ur interest, would recommend giving ch 1 a read and then coming back to this post)

but okay, let's start with this first chapter ⚡🎼

i gave a bit of a generic ‘vibe’ of what everybody’s music sounds like in the end-notes, but i’m gonna elaborate a bit here + also fill in some gaps!

Liliana

in this fic, Liliana Temult gained acclaim as a teenage country star, kind of like early early Taylor Swift (vibes: TS debut, Fearless, + specifically the songs Sparks Fly, Mine, and Ours from Speak Now are songs Liliana released about her high school sweetheart turned husband (Relvin)). 

*important to note: any TS songs that are confirmed as Liliana’s are re-recording versions of these songs, as the original versions of them are how i imagine Imogen sounding if she were to cover her mom’s music, plus also draws a more distinctive line in the differences in sound between Imogen and Liliana if both of them have TS music in their discographies. if you’re super hardline abt only listening to Taylor’s rerecordings, that’s chill, but just putting it out there as my distinction between Imogen’s TS songs and Liliana’s TS songs!

as Liliana got more popular, signed to a new label (Ruidus Records, owned by Ludinus Da’Leth, and Liliana was managed by Otohan Thull), Liliana’s sound changed and she spent more time away from home, in New York and LA (vibes: AURORA by Daisy Jones and the Six, Fleetwood Mac - 60s/70s-esque pop-rock with some country tinges to it). 

Imogen

more on Imogen’s music in the fic’s present-day for the ch 2 breakdown, but for a backstory vibe: the first music Imogen releases are with songs from Kacey Musgraves’ album, Deeper Well; Imogen’s EP, called If I Let Go, has this tracklist:

Sway is fairly self explanatory, and it’s the leading single for the EP.

Lonely Millionaire is about Imogen’s desperation to not slip into the wrong side of the industry no matter how alluring it may be at times, no matter how caught up she gets in the glitz and glamour and magic of it all, she doesn’t want to forget that it’s not worth it to get lost and end up on your own (like Liliana did).

The Architect is ‘small-town grew up in a christian community and maybe has some queer religious trauma’ Imogen Temult going ✌🏼don’t know if i believe i still believe in god and i don’t know if it would make it easier or harder if i did✌🏼.

Cardinal is something Imogen had written for years and years before she ever released it, but it’s a song that’s so clearly inspired by Liliana’s later career music, and it’s very much about Liliana too, and it almost gets swapped out for a different song because Imogen’s a little terrified that putting her mother’s musical story into her own at the start of her career is as good as damning her from the beginning, but Bertrand and Laudna convince her otherwise so this song ends up closing off the EP. 

(later, when Imogen puts out the rest of her album (which includes songs I haven’t figured out yet lol), she adds Giver / Taker and Nothing To Be Scared Of also from Kacey’s new album, and both of them are written about Laudna :-). (the album is also called Nothing To Be Scared Of.) 

Laudna

Laudna also got into music as a teenager (signing to Briarwood Records under Delilah) but exactly what kind of music that was, i’m not 100% on so taking suggestions + recommendations if you have any. tethered’s present-day Laudna’s music is mostly following the sound of Lizzy McAlpine. the six feet under EP referenced in ch 1 is:

there’s more for Laudna’s music - including other songs she wrote in the time Imogen was away - but we’ll get into those as they come up in the fic 😉

The Crown Keepers

finally, for this chapter’s musical rundown: to put some context to The Crown Keepers, they are, in fact, the Full Gang. Orym, Fearne, Dorian, Dariax, and Opal make up TCK, and they started out as a folk/indie lil group who wound up being signed to Eshteross Records by Bertrand. they’re the characters i have the Most songs for bc their musical sound is my favourite kind of music, but i’ll just give you some artists to listen to + some of the key songs tied to their group’s backstory! 

vibes: Wild Rivers (both in music And in their actual Vibe as a group, go look them up, seriously) / Judah & the Lion (their song Spirit is the first song of TCK’s that blows up and they start to break into mainstream popularity) / Motherfolk / McFly / Morningsiders / Kodaline / Avalanche City (Sunset is one of the last songs they release + the very very last song they play at the end of their world tour right before they go on hiatus) / and Tiny Habits as little smaller combos of different members of the band (esp their cover of landslide). 

quick addition because I keep forgetting: the song that Imogen and Laudna sing together that Orym and Imogen text about is Call It What You Want from High School Musical the Musical the Series, and it's actually the song t hat set this whole fic off, funnily enough.

mimi oh my goodness where do i begin😭😭😭😭😭😭 so i have been soooo busy with work and school that i didn’t catch up with iwyts since like chapter 10. and now i’m free and i’ve read up to chapter 13 and GOSHHHHH my love for them increases and increases each chapter. the slowburn, the angst, the tears and sad moments were built so beautifully and i love every bit of it. the yearning felt so real and everything was worth it because once chapter 13 came and they actually got together and confessed everything, i felt so much relief and satisfaction. they finally kissed passionately and moreeee that we were waiting for. and they were being so domestic and loving that i felt it through the screen lolll. i cant wait to read the next but final chapter😭😭😭i’m gonna miss them

Now anon, where do I begin! 😭 this is such a sweet message. I’m glad you liked the slow burn of IWYTS! I was originally worried that it would drag on long lol yknow how in some kdramas they get together in episode 9 of a 12-ep series 😂 but I wanted to establish a lot of things that would carry over to season 2! But even if it doesn’t continue, there’s a lot of emotions and musings to pore over. And it’s satisfying right! When they finally get together and they just get to express everything. You’ll see more of that in chapter 14, in case you haven’t read it yet ☺️

ANYTHING BUT ORDINARY | Chapter Twenty-Three

Ell announces her comeback gig, and puts Johnny, Chris and Dimitry through their paces at some rugby training.

Thanks for all your kind feedback on the last chapter! I hope this one is ok, it's taken me a while to get it to a point I've been happy to publish it. Obviously I *had* to include the rugby skit in here while the gang are in London. I've also linked the song included in the chapter below, as always it's a real song but in this AU it's written by Ell; all credit goes to the original writers and I'm not claiming it as my own. I'm really enjoying developing Johnny and Ell as a couple and the next few chapters will see some big events take place for their relationship so stay tuned. Also just a little note - I'm aware that in the actual skit, the rugby team they train with is the London Irish. I prefer rugby league over rugby union so I changed the team for a local rugby league team instead :'D

‘hey everyone! <3 thnx for all the nice messages about me joining the Jackass cast! u won’t see me on the series that’s on right now but we think s2 will begin airing in feb 2001 so u can see me then! it’s been another fun few weeks shooting stunts and hanging with my fav people. i’m so lucky to have met this gang thanks to my best friend steve-o. if u haven’t seen the show yet i know ur gonna love them all as much as i do! we’re shooting a few bits in london this week. it’s v strange to be back here but part of me has rly missed it. on that note… i’m posting today because i have some more exciting news! since i’m in town all week i decided to play a little one-off gig! it’s at dublin castle in camden THIS FRIDAY NIGHT and the only way u can get tickets is to be there on the night. it’s first come, first served and the capacity is only 200 - it’s a lot smaller than the last venue i played for u all, but i just wanted to do a special intimate show so i can try out my new music. u might love it, u might hate it, i just know i'm so proud of what i've been working on recently so i rly hope u do love it. fingers crossed i will be back to do a bigger show in the near future! doors will open at 7:30 and i will be playing 8:30 - 10pm. i am so excited to play all of my new songs for u and i hope u are going to like them all! see u friday night. i love u all! <3’ Ell could hardly sit still at the group’s dinner the night before after confirming her gig at the Dublin Castle pub in Camden. Luckily, the venue had had a cancellation on the Friday so the landlord Alo was more than happy to give Ell the slot. She’d been so giddy she could barely eat her meal - that was until Steve-O told her to take a breath and eat otherwise he’d eat it for her.

IT’S CELESTIEFAN3000 i have to say i like tumblr way more than ao3 so i’ll be using this to comment from now on 😋 But i would like to personally thank you for writing chapter 9, your author voice is genuinely so appealing and HONESTLY you could pass off as a literal professional author if I didn’t know this was fanfiction!

Now for the uglier feelings: (please ignore typos or other mistakes i wrote a lot. I am very normal about kickoff, obviously)

I SOBBED LIKE A BABY MIDWAY AND BECAME A CRYING SOUND EFFECT AT THE END OK OK OKAYYYYYYY 😭😭💫💫 I’m still dizzy and lightheaded from the effect ur writing gives me (THIS IS A GOOD THING) it’s so addicting i need more😭‼️ UGHHHH the way you build that exact RIGHT amount of comfort to compensate for the suffering you’ve but us through but still managed to EDGE US AT THE END . I WISH YOU WEREN’T SO GOOD AT THIS FANFICTION THING, BECAUSE DAMN! 😭😭😭😭

The scenes were so fucking beautiful, I love the peaceful atmosphere that rain gives and how you were able to contrast that as an escape from that horrible loud and noisy bar to just a horrible man!!!!! You really know how to direct scenes and i can not express in words how much they mean to me 🥹🥹😭😭😭

I feel like I’ve overused the crying face emoji too much in my ask BUT I ACTUALLY MEAN IT HERE EVERY TIME I can fill an entire glass up of my tears that kickoff caused me to shed alone 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Everything was just great vegetables, this chapter will definitely be haunting me while I sleep but it ended with an amazing scenario to build off of and dream about RIGHT?☺️ Anyway, my last words here are that I admire how you’ve been working on this project for around a couple months now nonstop, but the quality has not dropped and has instead improved despite it getting really tiring the more you carry on with it! Maybe that’s just how I feel about finishing what I’ve started LMAO but it’s so impressive every time I see someone able to pull that off, I’ve seen some fics succumb to the tragedy of “i-just-want-to-get-this-over-with-because-the-concept-no-longer-interests-me-anymore”-ness 😔 BUT WITH KICKOFF! I’m so happy that the author is as passionate about the characters and plot in their fanfiction as I am, and hard work really does pay off! (for the reader, hard work is waiting 3 weeks for a new fic— but the read’s always better the longer you wait 😉)

New Things I Tried: I started posting my first long fic and published my first explicit/nsfw fanfic on AO3! I also can’t say writing gen fic was new but looking at what I wrote I really leaned into that this year which is exciting.

Fic I Spent the Most Time On: Probably The Ascent by virtue of it being a multi-chapter.

Fic I Spent the Least Time On: The Storyteller’s Game from my Tales of Fen’Harel work I wrote in an hour or so.

Favorite Thing I Wrote: Idk I’m rly fond of this passage from The Ascent of Solas and Thora coming to Cadash Thaig.

Favorite Thing I Read: I received some really, really special gifts this year from the exchanges I was in, but most special of all was Comrades in Arms, Brothers in Broken Chains by @dreadfutures. It’s about Felassan and the ancient rebels of Fen’Harel. I also received proserpine, a beautiful F!Shepard/Samara gift for the Mass Effect exchange I was in by CoaxionUnlimited

So initially, and still in some sense, I think he would have gotten more extreme as more time went by and he didn’t get y/n. The key here was Samuel being a dick to y/n and wasn’t being so responsive, that’s why he didn’t go too overboard. But, let’s say in an AR where the relationship was steady between Samuel and y/n, and he wasn’t being a prick, then absolutely, heethan would have gone so extreme….like full on non con, forcing y/n to break up with Samuel, and trapping her extreme. But I never imagined Samuel being dutiful towards y/n so that alternative route never really happened. There was at one point, where I did imagine y/n being very adamant about her relationship with Samuel (even though it was pretty much dead bc again…samuels a dick) but y/n was in denial and Heethan pretty much….yeah non con mode but it eventually opened y/n’s eyes and she ended up falling for him. There were many but this one was nearly canon until I thought of Samuel sending the email and the scene I. The frat party.

but don’t get me wrong anon, whenever I think of heethan, he will go to extremes to get y/n. It just so happens Samuel was a bad bc in the story. But let’s just say if y/n left heethan, like broke it off and left him, and started dating someone else and moving on….yeah, heethan ain’t going to let that slide. He’d go take y/n by force, and tell her that if she doesn’t comply, that he’ll beat her innocent new bf up or soemthing. He’s too far deep in now that he’ll never give her up and will do anything to keep her. It’s just fortunate that he’s so good to her that she never wants to leave bc he’s crazy in love, but he doesn’t go too overboard with y/n, as long as she doesn’t get too out of hand.

to show you just how extreme he would get, I’ll make a seperate Drabble one of these days on what he would do if y/n broke it off or let’s say she moved away or something before he got her, or decided to switch colleges and go to samuels college, the lengths this man would go. I’m telling you, it’s insane. Bc he is obsessed and she does belong to him….whether she likes to be or not.

HOWEVER….I nearly forgot to add….MT Heeseung…..we’re going to see a side of him that you expected out of heethan, it just so happens in MgR universe, things kind of worked out and came into play for heethan…but in MT….you either hunt or be hunted type of shit goes down.

hello!! i think my previous ask got gobbled up by tumblr 💀 i'm currently reading a few books - i'm around a third through wodehouse's the imitable jeeves, and i love its sense of humour and writing style. i've been reading it after i started the bbc's adaptation (featuring stephen fry and hugh laurie!) and i love seeing how the show adapted elements of the books.

i've also been reading some spurs-related books, namely one step from glory which covers spurs' run to the 2019 ucl final (though i can never bring myself to start the chapter where we play liverpool) and the boys of white hart lane! the latter focuses on the stories of the players under burkinshaw and is especially engrossing for me, since i've learned so many interesting facts about the players from that era!

i'm so glad that the euros in germany was fun while the competition lasted (on a side note, i didn't expect germany to get knocked out so early! thought they were at least semi-finalists given the quality of their squad and home support, but i thought they put up a good fight against spain). from your description i can almost imagine i'm there with all the fans watching and cheering! the scottish fans are so fun lmao, there really isn't a party without them. have read some articles about their passionate support and they seemed to be standouts amongst the other fanbases! and hopefully your friend got some rest throughout the rest of the competition.

also off topic but i'm so excited for the rest of the pre-season for spurs! seeing our win against hearts - especially the second half, what a magnificent game our youth + new players had! i'm so pleased and proud for all of them, they really seem to be buying so readily into angeball and i hope they'll all go far with us (and, equally importantly, have fun playing ange's offensively-minded and fluid football style!). hopefully tomorrow's friendly is going to be a fun one!

i need to read one step from glory!! i’ve always put it off because that cl run is rly personal to me and hits me right where it hurts. after we lost the final i couldn’t watch football for months. but five years on i think i’m mostly over it (coupled with this promising new era) so i’ll get around to it soon!! the boys of white hart lane <3 the burkinshaw era was probably our second most successful era after the bill nic + double era and i love reading about it 🥺

yeah the general consensus here (tbf ppl are biased but still) is that germany v spain should’ve been the final. it’s just a bit unfortunate that the two nations got caught in the same bracket. and yesss the scottish fans were great! so were the dutch fans, german ppl were quite fond of them when they were here :)

i hope you had fun watching the qpr friendly!!! i’ve had lots of fun watching the kids and i rly think we’ve got the best crop of talent coming through the academy in a long while. the last time we had so much talent quantitatively come through were the years of kane, mason, carroll, townsend, etc. it’s exciting! and what’s even more exciting is that there is a proper focus to develop the academy which is long overdue. hopefully the one against vissel kobe today is a good one 😌

house of hollow is new-ish i think? but it was a wild and fun read imo. it’s about three sisters who disappeared as kids but then randomly shooed up again a month later with no recollection of what happened or where they were. then the eldest disappears again and the youngest and middle sisters go try to help her. it’s got some creepy? moments if that’s the right word. the author really went all out. flowers grow out of their cuts and they vomit flowers and they eat so so so much and no one knows why. their hair as kids was a dark color but when they get back it turns white and their eyes change color. it’s very intriguing and imo hard to put down

i actually saw the sequel to the atlas six before i saw the first one at the library. i had to wait a bit for a copy to be returned. i do like it so far! there’s a lot of characters and i’m only on the fourth chapter so I’ve only really been introduced to four of the six (main) characters.

the first book that came to mind about but it books was Fahrenheit 451. maybe it was that? i have not heard of babel however i just looked it up and am curious about it now. which one will you read first?

COSY TIANSHAN HEADCANONS!!!

- i think tian is a cosy boy as soon as he feels comfortable that mo likes him back. once they’re in an established relationship he is SO cosy. with mo, even after they’re together it might take him a little while to settle into things and allow himself to be vulnerable like that, but he cautiously begins to open up.

- i imagine them sleeping in on weekends OR even cuter - maybe it’s super rainy outside and ‘y’know what fuck it, babe, i’m callin’ in sick’ and mo is secretly delighted that he gets to spend a sleepy cosy day with tian. he’d reward him subtly by making his favourite foods and bringing him a coffee in bed.

- food has a lot to do with comfort between these two. there’s tian who loves to find special little foods for his darling, and seeing when he’s done good - that sweet little smile from mo. but mo is definitely king in this way - he shows how he loves through food. he makes tian’s favourites, he figures out NEW favourites. he’ll cook all day and act like it’s nothing but tian knows how much that shows he CARES.

- one tiny little headcanon i love is mo tenderly feeding tian. maybe a spoonful now and then - try the soup, do you want a bite of this? but also sometimes when they’re cuddling and mo has some segments of orange, you know he’s gently placing little pieces into tian’s mouth and blushing when tian presses his lips briefly to his fingers.

- tian is the cosiest person to sleep next to, just a big warm mountain that loves to cuddle (tbh) and WON’T LET GO DAMMIT. but this also extends to cuddling - mo can just sit next to tian and without meaning to it turns into cuddling. tian can’t ever keep his hands to himself but this turns into his arms and hands and feet and lips and he’s suddenly an octopus that has attached itself to guan shan in every possible way. mo finds it very comforting haha - he’d hate to admit it but sleeping any other way feels like the loneliest thing in the world. if he grabs a coffee with a friend, sitting by himself on the bench feels COLD and BEREFT because that damn HE TIAN has made him get used to being snuggled always.

- sharing clothes is ALWAYS cosy. for mo guan shan that means stealing big jumpers and sweaters that smell musky, whether it’s because of how cosy it feels or because he wants to be reminded of he tian. although i think those two things are connected. for tian he usually likes stealing mo’s scarves or little things that reminds him of guan shan in the day. his gloves and sometimes his socks (which DEEPLY annoys him). unfortunately for tian he doesn’t comfortably fit in a great deal of mo’s clothes. but god knows that doesn’t stop him trying (i can just imagine mo fuming because he’s found a sweater of his with holes at the seam and he KNOWS tian has been wearing it even if he pretends he hasn’t).

- i have a (one of many) unfinished fic where tian and mo suddenly realise how CLINGY they are (how did they not realise sooner lmao). they’re so comfortable and cosy together they really don’t realise how much they touch. in the train their fingers mesh together, hidden in the folds of their jackets. as they climb the escalator, tian links their pinky fingers because he can’t quite live without even the smallest reassurance mo is there.

- i imagine when tian is cold he just goes to bother mo, putting his hands under mo’s shirt and cuddling up against his back - whether he’s sleeping, cooking, watching tv whatever lol. when mo is cold he’ll refuse to go and look for tian to warm him up and just ends up shivering with several pairs of socks on and three jumpers. when tian finds him like that he knows it’s time to warm his lover up.

- don’t you think endearments are cosy? for tian it’s extensive - baby, darling, shanshan. but for mo it’s a little trickier. it’s YEARS until he manages tian tian - which gives him a heart attack. but i also think he’d really wish to speak sweetly to tian like that (which names do you think would work best??) but he doesn’t know how to start! in its place mo will instead always talk very proudly of tian - my partner, my fiancé, my husband etc whenever he’s mentioned and hope this is enough.

- idk if these are still cosy headcanons lmao but i just think they’re so close to one another (again, without realising lol) that every little thing they do speaks of the trust and love between them. mo guan shan reaching across tian so he can put a little salt on a dish for him (because mo knows how he likes it best) or to offer him a bite of his food because he thinks he’ll like it. just these little actions speak of so much love. for tian i think it’s so cosy and sweet that he’d worry over mo - worry he doesn’t have an umbrella or a coat and go out of his way to make sure he’s warm and dry and safe. they show their love a little differently but it always speaks to how much they care for one another ♥️

Until Dawn (series) by edaen - this is the long series where the previous one above is part of. highly rec if you love fantasy and you wanna read about bts being a rag tag group of supernatural beings fighting evil yay. also it makes the above fic more satisfying because you see more of jikook just being tgt and in love (with bonus angst because of course)

If you're having a picnic date with princess dresses and tiaras, (probably gonna end up happening because we all live for the aesthetic) then Claire and Bronwyn would usually end up making excuses to bring more food to you so then they could join, which Olive was sometimes too nice to protest to, but at least you got some time together without interruptions before they turned up.

Also France has alot of art history so you end up begging her to go on a little art tour with you. Bff vibes.

• I think you and George would just make a great couple in general. It's kinda a yin yang thing you have going on together. You balance each other out.

announcement regarding lovin’ it!

hi! i’m gonna try to make this quick bc i have a rly bad headache right now and i don’t think anyone would want to read a whole rant LOL

i’m discontinuing lovin’ it!

why? well, reason number one is that i’m starting to think the plot would fit a written fic better. am i going to write the fic though? no. to be very honest, i’m over the entire thing. i came across a prompt and remember being very excited to make smth based on it. so i started planning the smau. this was the start of october. i made the tweets and messages on and off for about a month before stuff came up, and i had to quit. bc i still liked the premise, i began making the smau again in december when i had time, and posted a masterlist on my old blog. then i deactivated. that makes it two times i tried making the smau and quit. still, i tried to go forward w it on my new blog and i was still fairly excited when i pre-wrote all the chapters in march within two days but now ,, i just don’t care LOL i barely remember to post and only do so when i happen to come across someone in the notifs and see them liking a chapter and go “oh fuck i have a smau i should probs update” 👎 plus the plot doesn’t seem that good either now. it actually seems rly lame like WHAT was i thinking to make a smau based on it 💀 i don’t like to discontinue stuff bc it feels like i’ve failed ppl but it’s been 8 months since i began the smau and my commitment issues say i’m DONE. i don’t wanna have smth incomplete and that i’m not particularly proud of anymore on my blog so i will be deleting the masterlist and all the chapters soon (mostly tomorrow itself).
