yes i like to read B) LOL but fr i don’t really think i have a preference in length? i will admit though, if it tends to be a bit longer, i take a lot of breaks in between and that happens regardless of how immersed i am in the story 🐋 i don’t like looking at my phone/computer for a long period of time so therefore 😔

16. do you research for your fics? if so, how deep of a rabbit hole have you gone down by accident when researching?

i feel like i’ve experienced so little in the world that i end up researching ever little thing for my aus 😵‍💫 but it’s always the just general idea of things, i don’t usually add the tiny details and kind of let my fantasy run that part of the story. i find that sometimes when i research too much into smth, i lose track of my creativity and what i wanted to accomplish with the original story i planned :/

34. how much of yourself and your life experiences do you put into your writing? what do you think your readers' image of you is?

i don’t think there’s anything i’ve written that doesn’t have a piece of me or my life in it (did i word that write?) 🌱 this may sound so obvious and so cliche but… my stories are my stories, of course there’s going to be some part of me involved when i’m writing. i’m not exposing my diary 🥴 but there’s different aspects of me and my life that make it in my fics that come in different forms! the emotions i write and feelings that my characters go through, indeed i have felt. i probably copy and pasted exact words i heard from a mcdonalds drive thru into one of fics somewhere 🤷‍♀️ all the hyperspecific details in my fics are most likely huge tmi’s in my daily life that u guys probably didn’t need to know 🤪

honestly tho………. i just hope my readers’ image of me is. nice 👍 XCBXNCBXB LIKE. bonus points if you guys think i’m funny <3 but looking back at some of the things i’ve written, i really aim for comfort. so @ my readers, i hope you guys know that i am giving you the biggest warmest hug (achieved thru my writing) 🐘

43. talk about a positive experience with fanfiction or the fanfiction community that you will always remember.

this question makes me so :(( bc i remember when i first started writing and it was so much fun just creating smth and in the end, being so proud of yourself bc damn. i made that! 🌟 and it didn’t matter if it reached a certain audience, it only took a singular person that constantly loved my stories. praising and encouraging me to write more, fueling ideas out of me. that feeling is almost cathartic to me 🌌

beyond that, i have met some of my closest friends now through the fanfic community, readers and writers alike. gosh and when i tell you that these are some of the best friendships i could ever ask for 🥺 💥 literally unmatched. i could say so much abt the people i’ve met here, but i wouldn’t be the same person i am today without the help of some of the people i’ve met here on this platform. ♥️
