I start at the bottom right and go square by square when I do these; I nearly backed myself into a corner with watersheds this time

These were all experiments with gouache and depicting water patterns (I think the lower right was one of the first full gouache paintings I did, a couple years ago, and the rest are all from the last couple of months) and none of them look like I intended from the reference photos, but they have a certain charm
