I see them going to the same college together, Luca studying astronomy and Giulia studying marine biology, and they’re roommates cause it’s cheaper and they practically grew up together anyway. Luca’s already securely with Alberto at this point and Giulia thinks she’s a lesbian, so it’s all whatever. Everyone’s all happy, Luca loves Alberto, Giulia loves both the boys as her best friends/family, Alberto is no longer jealous of Giulia, yadda yadda yadda.

But like. What if they fucked it up.

Idk I just think it’s a fun and interesting scenario cause like, Luca is missing Alberto and he’s all sad that Alberto’s not there, but like. Giulia is. 👀

fhdjjwhfk idk there’s kinda a lot to explain which is why I don’t talk about it much but I’ve already written one fic about it (which is kinda underrated in my opinion). And I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but I just think their bond is so strong it’s almost hard not to imagine them in a semi-polyamorous relationship (i ain’t doin incest tho srry). I’m also working on another Giulia/Luca/Alberto fic where essentially everybody just goes to town on Luca and it’s great, but I have no idea how to wrap it up so no promises that’ll be out anytime soon :P

Fuck that book LITERALLY EVERYTHING ABT IT SUCKS ASS. AND LITERALLY EVERY PART OF IT PISSES ME OFF, AND IT HAS BEEN 3 YEARS SINCE I READ IT,. FUCK THE WRITER, FUCK THE CHARACTERS, AND FUCK THE WHOLE CONCEPT OF THIS BOOK.

The whole thing with this book is like, its a slice of life teen romance where the reader switches perspectives to each of the two main characters over shared sets of events. Yes I stole some words from the Wikipedia synopsis of it, because it was that forgettable and angering for me.

Now. Lemme go on a very very angry tangent on why I passionately fucking DESPISE this book so much.

Also keep in mind, I haven’t read this in years so I may or may not have false info of this book.

Let’s call the boy Timmy and the girl Ashley (bc I forgot these shitheads names and I’m not gonna bother to look it up). TIMMY was an obnoxious winey brat who was a little fucking bitch. I wouldn’t have a problem with that IF he DID grow as a person through the book. The book starts out with Timmy Ashley as kids, and Timmy was exactly that as a child. BUT EVEN AS HE AGES THROUGHOUT THE FUCKING BOOK, HE H A R D L Y DEVELOPS ANY SENSE OF FUCKING MATURITY AT ALL. For MOST of the story, he just bitches and wines endlessly abt something inconvenient happening to him like running into some weird obsessive girl he doesn’t like back. Which SPEAKING OF THE FUCKING DEVIL, ASHLEY, SHE as a character, isn’t as awful as Timmy, but she still fucking sucks. When she and Timmy meet as kids, she like fkn endlessly harasses him insisting on making him her boyfriend. This goes on for the two until around 3rd grade????? What makes me so angry abt this whole situation thing, is how whenever Timmy tries to tell her off, or tell on her, people always tell him, “lol she likes you, give her a kiss you two cutiesss😘😘” THIS WOULDNT BE AN ISSUE IF HE DID LIKE HER BACK, BUT HE DOESNT, AND HE PROCEEDS TO NEVER SHOW ANY FORM OF “i like you :D” TO HER EVER. THE TWO LITERALLY GET TOGETHER ONLY BC TIMMY DOES SMTHN THAT HURTS ASHLEYS FEELINGS, THEN, WHEN HE FEELS BAD, HE PLANTS HER A TREE IN HER FRONTYARD TO REPLACE HER OLD FAVORITE ONE THAT WAS CHOPPED DOWN SEVERAL CHAPTERS AGO. The relationship of the two is SO. PAINFULLY. FORCED. EVERYONE in the book insists that the two should get together, even though, after around 3rd grade, TIMMY AND ASHLEY HARDLY EVER INTERACT, AND ONLY INTERACT STRICTLY AS ACQUAINTANCES MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE. THIS IS LITERALLY WHAT THE “if they’re mean to you, they just like you :)” PEOPLE THINK HAPPENS TO THOSE KIDS WHO INSTEAD END UP GETTING IN TOXIC RELATIONSHIPS BC THEY CANT REALIZE WHAT THE FUCK A GODDAMN HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP EVEN IS. I’m srry this book makes me so mad, it is actually a fkn double standard where the girl Harasses the boy, and he ends up getting with her, mostly bc, everyone says they should get together, and bc the boy feels bad. Even though he owed NOTHING to her (as far as I can remember) as a person, as a “friend”, or even acquaintance, he still gets with her.

This book is just FUCKING POOP. THE MESSAGE IS AWFUL, IT HOLDS SUCH A LACK OF DIRECTION, I HOPE ANYONE WHO LIKES THIS, COMES TO REALZE WTF A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP IS BC THIS BOOK DOESNT HAVE ONE OF THOSE.

In conclusion, I am angry, I am tired, and I still want to burn this book so fucking bad even after having forgotten so much of it. Fuck you Wendelin Van Draanen.

brooooo i didn’t want to bring up yosano but u know…. For some reason she’s more powerful/has a stronger healing power than shoko???? tbh i’m not a big fan of either of them but there not “bad” characters and they do sometimes come through when needed (EHEM shoko talking 2 u where u at homegirl???) other than that, Kitkats can be fixed with some gorilla glue, duck tape. ALSO ENDING NOTE: ik that since shoko can’t heal like limbs and stuff it does add more to the story and raise the steaks when the characters are fighting and whatnot and make their injuries more serious. THATS ALL 😘 (srry if i didn’t make any sense lol)

They really did kill Kenjaku just like that. On one hand, I'm proud of Yuta for taking him out like the GOAT he is, but on the other hand, I was kinda expecting more from him. I guess we haven't seen a body yet, so he could come back later to be an inconvenience.
