but no one in the tags was saying it was a moral imperative to vote for the other ship though? i have just checked the tags from before yours. your tags that you’ve edited were the ones calling people out for being performative for wanting vote for another ship for funsies like you are saying in your post. if you really are saying it should be for fun. i dont think it was the other person’s tags. it was your tags that called people out for being performative and disingenuous for liking the other ship. and what a mean thing to say and to double down on. now suddenly, according to you, it’s supposed to be about fun.

again, i’m not saying liking/voting for the ship is disingenuous at all, i’m saying that acting like i’m an f/f hater for not doing so is. as for actual comments, i saw multiple posts along the lines of “wow you guys really hate women/leabians huh” but i’m not gonna directly link people’s blogs on here. i don’t think “this should be fun” and “implying that it’s misogynistic to vote for my favorite ship is a bad take” are mutually exclusive, and that’s what i was commenting on with my tags, as well as the fact that the only selling point i was seeing from fans was that they’re gay which is not an actual ship dynamic pitch. yes i stand by thinking some people were being performative about it, but i’m really not interested in arguing about it. i just wanted to defend my friend because i think people were being unfair to her and leave it at that
